- 1:47these updates first. I want to start
- 1:49with Melody Buzzard. And I can just feel
- 1:52that a deep dive is going to be on the
- 1:55horizon here once more information comes
- 1:57out about her mom because there has been
- 2:00so much back and forth with this for
- 2:02weeks now. But if you remember, Melody
- 2:04is the girl who went missing. And I
- 2:07should say went missing or I say went
- 2:08missing but more like she was never
- 2:10reported as missing. And then when the
- 2:12school came and did the wellness check,
- 2:15her mom was refusing to cooperate. She
- 2:17wouldn't share where Melody was. They
- 2:19had just gone on that like cross-country
- 2:21road trip together and things just
- 2:24weren't adding up. Then Melody's mom,
- 2:26Ashley, ended up being arrested for
- 2:29false imprisonment charges relating to
- 2:31somebody else. And so I think that kind
- 2:33of gave everybody a little bit of a sigh
- 2:35of relief like she's been arrested now.
- 2:37We'll figure out what happened to
- 2:38Melody. She's obviously going to talk.
- 2:40We're going to learn more. This is just
- 2:42something to formally get her locked up.
- 2:44That unfortunately was not the case. So,
- 2:47like I said, on November 7th, she had
- 2:49been arrested on false imprisonment
- 2:51charges, but completely unrelated to the
- 2:54disappearance of her daughter, Melody.
- 2:56But according to People magazine, the
- 2:57felony charge was dropped on Thursday,
- 3:00November 20th. This was after an audio
- 3:02recording captured by Ashley was played
- 3:05in court, and it seemingly disproved the
- 3:08claims of false imprisonment. In the
- 3:10audio, Ashley opened the door and
- 3:12allowed this person to leave her home.
- 3:14There was also no mention of a specific
- 3:16location in the audio. So, we don't know
- 3:19what the details were of that. Again, I
- 3:21think that maybe I I don't know the
- 3:23details of that actually, so I don't
- 3:25want to speak on that. But I think that
- 3:28the thought and hope in arresting her
- 3:31and holding her on those charges was
- 3:33that she would fold and share what
- 3:35happened to her daughter, but she still
- 3:38hasn't. Meanwhile, we are hearing from a
- 3:40lot of family members that she was
- 3:42cutting the face out of missing person's
- 3:44posters of her own daughter, that she is
- 3:46refusing, of course, to cooperate. We
- 3:48still don't know where Melody is, what
- 3:50happened, but my point earlier being I
- 3:53think that that information, it's going
- 3:56to come out sooner rather than later.
- 3:58And so I think we are on the verge of a
- 4:00deep dive revisiting this case and going
- 4:02through not only everything regarding
- 4:05the case but Ashley her mom as well
- 4:07because there's a lot of backstory which
- 4:10I have found out about that I haven't
- 4:11even touched on that I think we'll
- 4:13include in that just to give a full
- 4:15picture of everything. So more to come
- 4:17on that but did want to at least mention
- 4:19that update. And now we've got to talk
- 4:21about the David of it all, the D4VD
- 4:24David, because that's something that we
- 4:26have been talking about for months now.
- 4:28As a quick little onenote reminder,
- 4:31David is a singer. Celeste was a
- 4:3415-year-old little girl who I believe
- 4:36was murdered when she was just 14 years
- 4:38old and she was found in the trunk of
- 4:40his Tesla. And it's been really
- 4:43interesting. For the last several weeks,
- 4:45there's been back and forth. Is David a
- 4:46suspect? Is he not? They don't even have
- 4:48a cause of death. he can't be named a
- 4:50suspect. His weird lyrics about like
- 4:52romantic homicide come out. There's all
- 4:55these things that make it look on the
- 4:56surface like David is somehow involved
- 4:58in this. But he was never formally named
- 5:01a suspect, never arrested, never charged
- 5:03with anything. Well, big shocker to
- 5:06absolutely nobody in the freaking world.
- 5:09He now has officially been named a
- 5:11suspect in the death of Celeste. And
- 5:14investigators also say he is not the
- 5:16only suspect. Digital evidence from
- 5:19phones, social media, and even data that
- 5:21was pulled from the Tesla has also
- 5:24placed a second individual at the
- 5:26location where they believe Celeste
- 5:28died. Now, one major point of interest,
- 5:31too, for the detectives is a very
- 5:33mysterious middle of the night road trip
- 5:36to Santa Barbara last spring. Now, if
- 5:38you remember from my last update, the
- 5:40last known photos of Celeste were from
- 5:42February, end of January, early
- 5:44February. They then found her body in
- 5:48the very end tail end of summertime. So
- 5:51the fact that there is this middle of
- 5:53the night road trip last spring that
- 5:55could either be when something happened
- 5:57or a potential attempted disposal
- 6:00something. But they are saying that this
- 6:02is a major point of interest for the
- 6:04detectives. So, they're now zeroing in
- 6:07on the timeline to figure out who went
- 6:09on this road trip, why they went, what
- 6:12role in it may have played in Celeste's
- 6:14disappearance, all of it. Now, the
- 6:17condition of Celeste's body is also
- 6:18something that we need to talk about
- 6:20because it has been a big point of
- 6:21contention in this investigation as to
- 6:23why nobody was named a suspect and still
- 6:26why nobody has been charged. And it's
- 6:28unfortunately, I'm sorry to get a little
- 6:30bit graphic here, but it's because the
- 6:33state in which her remains were found.
- 6:35They were unable to determine not only a
- 6:38cause of death, but also a manner of
- 6:40death because of how badly decomposed
- 6:42her body was. So despite all of this and
- 6:46still not knowing the clear cause of
- 6:47death, the LAPD robbery homicide
- 6:50division has officially reclassified the
- 6:52case as a homicide. And now with at
- 6:54least two suspects who are now clearly
- 6:57coming into focus, the investigators
- 6:59believe that there are still major
- 7:00pieces of this story that have yet come
- 7:02to light and that they expect to come to
- 7:04light soon and start to put the entire
- 7:06puzzle together. So, we will be
- 7:09following this very closely. Also, we'll
- 7:12probably have a deep dive on this in the
- 7:13near future. So, stay tuned. Now, in
- 7:16another throwback case that had a huge
- 7:19update over the weekend that I talked
- 7:21about a little bit on social media, but
- 7:23want to talk about it here, Morgan
- 7:25Geyser, the primary attacker back in the
- 7:282014 Slender Man stabbing. You may
- 7:31remember her. She was briefly on the run
- 7:33this weekend after she cut off her ankle
- 7:35monitoring bracelet and disappeared from
- 7:37a group home where she had been living.
- 7:40Now, as a reminder for those who aren't
- 7:41familiar with this case, it's haunting
- 7:44and so so disturbing, but back in 2014,
- 7:47Morgan and her friend Ana lured their
- 7:50friend and classmate Payton into the
- 7:52woods. Once they had Payton in the
- 7:54woods, and by the way, they were all 12
- 7:56years old at the time, just 12. Once
- 7:58they had Payton in the woods, Morgan
- 8:00stabbed her 19 times while Ana was like
- 8:04egging her on. Luckily, Payton survived
- 8:06this attack and she was able to crawl
- 8:08out of the woods and get to safety,
- 8:10although she had to spend a lot of time
- 8:11in the hospital recovering. But once
- 8:13Morgan and Ana were apprehended, their
- 8:16explanation to the investigators was
- 8:18that this attack was all in an effort to
- 8:21appease Slender Man, the fictional
- 8:24horror character that they were
- 8:25apparently convinced was real. They
- 8:27thought that by doing this sacrifice and
- 8:30this killing for him, they would get to
- 8:32live in his castle. That's where they
- 8:34were actually walking at the time that
- 8:35they were arrested or I should say
- 8:37apprehended on the side of the road.
- 8:39They thought that it would help save
- 8:40their families fully believing that this
- 8:43fictional character was real according
- 8:45to them. Whether or not they truly
- 8:47believed it, who the hell really knows?
- 8:48But again, all three girls were only 12
- 8:50years old at the time. So, at the trial,
- 8:52I believe Morgan plead guilty to either
- 8:55intentional attempted first-degree or
- 8:57secondderee homicide. However, she was
- 9:00found not guilty by mental defect and
- 9:02instead of going to prison, she was
- 9:04sentenced to 40 years in a psychiatric
- 9:06facility. However, then her team started
- 9:09appealing everything, saying that she
- 9:11should be released and have early
- 9:14release and supervised release, which a
- 9:16lot of people had objections to because
- 9:18not only was this crime outright evil
- 9:20and so evil at just 12 years old, but
- 9:23even during the time when she has been
- 9:25in this care facility, she has been
- 9:27making very disturbing drawings. She has
- 9:29been in touch with somebody who collects
- 9:31like murder memorabilia. A lot of red
- 9:33flags. But despite all of that, the
- 9:35judge agreed to this. So earlier this
- 9:38year, Morgan was released from the
- 9:40psychiatric care facility and she was
- 9:42placed in a supervised group home.
- 9:45However, on Saturday, November 22nd, she
- 9:47reportedly just walked out of this home
- 9:49in Wisconsin and removed her ankle
- 9:52monitoring bracelet and took off with a
- 9:5542year-old friend, which Morgan at this
- 9:57point is 22 years old. who this
- 10:0042-year-old friend is. I've done a
- 10:02little bit of research on that
- 10:03information, don't worry, is coming. But
- 10:05when they took off, they went to
- 10:08Illinois. Then the police responded to
- 10:11reports of two people who were sleeping
- 10:13on a sidewalk behind a truck stop. This
- 10:16being Morgan and her friend. Initially,
- 10:19apparently Morgan refused to give her
- 10:20name and told them, "I've done something
- 10:22really bad. You can Google me and figure
- 10:24out who I am." And was not cooperating.
- 10:27The 42-year-old friend also was not
- 10:30cooperating and later was arrested on
- 10:31obstruction charges. But once Morgan
- 10:34revealed her identity, the police
- 10:35confirmed that she was the missing
- 10:37escapee and they took her into custody.
- 10:40Now, what's to come with all of this? I
- 10:42don't really know. I apparently the
- 10:44police told her 42-year-old friend at
- 10:47the scene that she would now have to go
- 10:49back to the psychiatric care facility.
- 10:52But in my mind, I'm like, uh, if she
- 10:54just escaped and cut off her bracelet,
- 10:55she should now be going to prison. she
- 10:57shouldn't get to go back to that care
- 10:58facility. But I know it gets very
- 11:00complicated when mental health is
- 11:01involved. That being said, we have done
- 11:05a deep dive on this case in the past,
- 11:06but we are currently doing a deep dive
- 11:08into everything about Morgan at the
- 11:11facility, the drawings, the
- 11:13conversations with that memor uh the
- 11:15murder memorabilia guy, her new friend,
- 11:18what that all was like. So, the updated
- 11:20deep dive is coming. Just stay tuned.
- 11:23But I think it's going to be out, you
- 11:26know, Tuesday. So, there you go. I'll
- 11:28keep you posted on that and we'll see
- 11:30what happens with Morgan and what
- 11:32repercussions she's going to have to
- 11:34face now. But a lot of people were
- 11:36obviously outraged when they saw that
- 11:38she had fled, rightfully so. I think
- 11:40this was everybody's concern when her
- 11:42team was trying to get her early
- 11:44release. She only ended up serving what
- 11:46was it I think 9 years, maybe less in
- 11:48the psychiatric care facility.
- 11:50originally sentenced to 40 years and not
- 11:53even prison time. I mean, the whole
- 11:54thing is just an epic fail in my
- 11:56opinion. So, keeping a close eye on this
- 11:58and definitely will keep you updated.
- 12:01Okay, so now we're going to get into
- 12:03some of these new cases. And one of
- 12:05these cases, I swear it has taken the
- 12:07internet by storm. Everybody is
- 12:09following it. I've rece I've seen your
- 12:11DMs, your comments, everything. And it's
- 12:14a wild one. I admittedly have not been
- 12:17able to follow it as in-depth as I would
- 12:19like to. However, Amy, who is here
- 12:21joining me again today, has been all
- 12:24over this case. And so, she actually
- 12:26Yeah, she's been all over this case. She
- 12:28knows every single detail. So, I'm
- 12:30excited that Amy is here to explain to
- 12:31all of us what is actually going on with
- 12:34the Anna Kempner case. I know you hate
- 12:37cruises as it is. This probably is one
- 12:38more reason to hate a cruise, but
- 12:40honestly, and we just got the invitation
- 12:42to crime cruise.
- 12:43>> Not happening.
- 12:45Not happening.
- 12:45>> Like, wait a second.
- 12:46>> No, no, thank you.
- 12:48>> Well, happy Thanksgiving. Happy
- 12:49Thanksgiving to you. I can't believe
- 12:50it's already almost Christmas.
- 12:51>> Honestly, I mean, like I said last week,
- 12:53it's felt like Christmas for a while
- 12:55now.
- 12:55>> It is. I know Emmy still is asking me
- 12:57every day if it's Christmas, but it's
- 12:59fine.
- 12:59>> Okay. Yeah. So, as Annie said, this next
- 13:01case was one that I saw first come up on
- 13:04social media and just piqu my interest
- 13:06and I sent it over to the team and was
- 13:08like, I don't even know if there's
- 13:10enough information yet, but let's keep
- 13:11our eyes on this one. But now it's one
- 13:14that's everywhere lately. And the more
- 13:16you look at it, it just becomes more and
- 13:18more unsettling. So, as Annie said, I'm
- 13:21not really a cruise person. So, for me,
- 13:23this is even extra scary. But imagine
- 13:25this. You're on a cruise ship. You're in
- 13:27the middle of the ocean. There's
- 13:29thousands of people around you. Security
- 13:31everywhere. There's cameras. And really,
- 13:34it's the kind of environment where you
- 13:36would normally feel super safe because
- 13:38realistically, where could you even go?
- 13:40You're surrounded by water. But then
- 13:42someone vanishes and they don't fall
- 13:44overboard. They don't get left
- 13:46somewhere. They just disappear inside
- 13:49the ship itself inside a tiny cabin,
- 13:51which is honestly kind of giving Amy
- 13:53Bradley is missing vibes. But in this
- 13:56case, when they were finally found, they
- 13:59were not okay. They were not even alive.
- 14:01They had been hidden under a bed,
- 14:03wrapped in a blanket, and covered by
- 14:05life jackets. And that was the scene
- 14:07that investigators walked into on the
- 14:09Carnival Horizon on November 8th, just a
- 14:12few weeks ago. And at the center of the
- 14:14scene was an 18-year-old girl named Anna
- 14:17Kempner. She was from Titusville,
- 14:19Florida, attended Temple Christian High
- 14:21School, and was expected to graduate
- 14:23just this next May. She had plans to
- 14:25join the Navy. And now that dream of
- 14:28hers just wasn't going to come true, cuz
- 14:30all of that came to a screeching halt on
- 14:32this cruise. And this wasn't just a solo
- 14:34trip. This was supposed to be this happy
- 14:37blended family vacation. In fact, it was
- 14:40supposed to be a nice little getaway for
- 14:42everyone and possibly something they
- 14:44wanted to make a family tradition going
- 14:46forward. So, Anna was on the cruise ship
- 14:48with her grandparents, her father, her
- 14:50stepmother, and all of her siblings and
- 14:52step siblings. They had had three
- 14:54stateaterooms booked on the Carnival
- 14:56Horizon that left for Miami and was
- 14:58traveling the Caribbean for 7 days. And
- 15:00by her grandparents account, the whole
- 15:02family was very close. And there was
- 15:04really no such thing as step siblings.
- 15:06They were all just very close and had, I
- 15:09think, what they later described as two
- 15:10peas in a pod type dynamic. And Anna
- 15:14wasn't staying in the cabin alone. The
- 15:15three teenagers had decided to stay
- 15:17together. As I said earlier, they had
- 15:19only booked those three estate rooms.
- 15:22So, she was sharing a room with her
- 15:2316-year-old stepbrother and another
- 15:25teenage sibling. and their grandparents
- 15:28had said that at any time if they
- 15:29weren't getting along or if they wanted
- 15:31to stay apart from each other that there
- 15:34was an extra room in their room that
- 15:35they were welcome to. Now, it's not
- 15:37clear where the third sibling was
- 15:39staying in the night that Anna was
- 15:40killed, but we do know that her
- 15:42stepbrother was still staying in their
- 15:44room and that only the family had access
- 15:46to that room, nobody else. So when you
- 15:48hear that detail, the story shifts quite
- 15:51a bit because when something happens in
- 15:53a locked and enclosed space that only a
- 15:56few people had access to, the circle of
- 15:58possible answers gets very small very
- 16:01fast. And the last night Anna was seen
- 16:03by her grandparents, she had said that
- 16:06she reportedly wasn't feeling well. At
- 16:08first she was complaining of pain from
- 16:09her braces, then she wasn't feeling
- 16:11well. So she went back to her room, but
- 16:13then reportedly started feeling better
- 16:15because she came down to the casino. She
- 16:17was interacting with the family, kind of
- 16:18was bouncing around, checking in and
- 16:20out, and nothing really seemed off until
- 16:23the next morning, her grandfather
- 16:25Jeffrey was buying bingo cards and heard
- 16:28this medical alert come over the
- 16:30loudspeaker, recognizing the room number
- 16:33and panicked. So, he raced to the cabin
- 16:35where he was met by Anna's father, who
- 16:37had confirmed she was in fact deceased.
- 16:40Apparently, a room attendant had found
- 16:42Anna's body, quote, concealed under a
- 16:44blanket. Now, this happened in
- 16:46international waters. And when things
- 16:48happen in the middle of the ocean,
- 16:50everything becomes more complicated.
- 16:52Local police don't just step in. Federal
- 16:54agencies become involved. And so, the
- 16:57jurisdiction gets kind of messy and the
- 16:59investigation sometimes gets a bit
- 17:01delayed because evidence is harder to
- 17:03access. Surveillance and key card data
- 17:06needs to be preserved and everything
- 17:07just reviewed very, very carefully. So
- 17:10suddenly what kind of seemed like maybe
- 17:12a straightforward investigation became
- 17:14more slow and more serious and really
- 17:17there were no updates until now. Once
- 17:20the FBI in Miami got involved, more and
- 17:22more details started coming out, which
- 17:24is kind of what we saw this week. And
- 17:26not only did the case become more
- 17:28complicated, but it also was a lot more
- 17:30uncomfortable because according to
- 17:32multiple reports and court- rellated
- 17:34filings, Anna's stepbrother, the same
- 17:36one sharing the cabin with her, became
- 17:38someone investigators were paying very
- 17:40close attention to. Reports say that
- 17:42Anna's younger brother told her
- 17:44ex-boyfriend that he heard yelling and
- 17:45chairs being thrown in the room the
- 17:47night before she was found. He said that
- 17:49their stepbrother was yelling, quote,
- 17:51"Shut the hell up," and stuff like that.
- 17:53The ex-boyfriend also told reporters
- 17:55that Anna had been sexually harassed by
- 17:57her stepbrother in the past, but she had
- 17:59always kept quiet because she feared for
- 18:01her safety. He said that Anna quote
- 18:03didn't feel safe around her stepbrother.
- 18:05And then another detail surfaced. And
- 18:08last week, reports came out that
- 18:09investigators believed Anna died due to
- 18:12affixiation involving pressure to her
- 18:14neck, possibly from a bar hold. She had
- 18:17bruises on her neck and everything
- 18:19indicated that she had been held in that
- 18:20position with pressure on her neck until
- 18:22she couldn't breathe anymore. So that
- 18:25alone changed the tone of the case
- 18:26because now they could definitely
- 18:28classify this one as a murder. Their
- 18:30grandmother had stated in her interview
- 18:32that the stepson was quote an emotional
- 18:35mess. He couldn't even speak. He
- 18:37couldn't believe what had happened. And
- 18:39get this, shortly after the ship docked,
- 18:41reports said that the stepbrother was
- 18:43officially being looked at as a suspect.
- 18:45Not only that, but he was also
- 18:47hospitalized. And yet, there hasn't been
- 18:49any clear public explanation as to why.
- 18:52But that silence has fueled a lot of
- 18:54speculation. But to be very clear, there
- 18:56have been no criminal charges that have
- 18:58been publicly confirmed. But this all
- 19:01has been enough to raise some serious
- 19:02questions. Obviously, if it was the
- 19:05stepbrother that did this, was he
- 19:07injured? Did he have some sort of
- 19:10psychological break? Was that the reason
- 19:11for why he was acting that way shortly
- 19:13after? or was this something else? Now
- 19:16that his name's connected to the case,
- 19:18the speculation just has become very
- 19:20dark. Another question that keeps coming
- 19:22up, when something happened in that
- 19:23cabin, did it start as a planned attack?
- 19:26Many people believe it may have started
- 19:28as something smaller, maybe an argument,
- 19:30a confrontation, a moment that spiraled,
- 19:33but others have said there may have been
- 19:34some kind of fixation or obsession that
- 19:36the stepbrother had, which kind of goes
- 19:38along with what the ex-boyfriend said,
- 19:40and that maybe he planned to do this,
- 19:42that he knew they would be alone in the
- 19:44room, and that it was a perfect
- 19:45opportunity to carry out this horrifying
- 19:47act. But again, I mean, there's no proof
- 19:49of that, but the fact that people are
- 19:51even asking those questions shows just
- 19:54how unsettling this is. And Anna's
- 19:56family is absolutely devastated. Her
- 19:58father, Christopher, has said that he
- 20:00hasn't even been given any clear answers
- 20:02from the investigators. He's basically
- 20:04been left in the dark about the entire
- 20:06situation. But get this, while there's
- 20:08been tons of speculation about the
- 20:10stepbrother, there's now also been talk
- 20:12about her father. But again, this is all
- 20:14just speculation. But there have been
- 20:16claims that he has a troubling past,
- 20:19including an inappropriate relationship
- 20:21with their 15-year-old babysitter in the
- 20:23mid 2000s. So once this came out,
- 20:26naturally the question started stacking
- 20:28up against Christopher, too. There are
- 20:30people out there who believe that he may
- 20:31know more about what he's admitting to
- 20:33or may be involved in some sort of a
- 20:35cover up or may have even had a role in
- 20:38Anna's death himself. And maybe that's
- 20:40potentially why he's not getting much
- 20:42information from the FBI. And now Anna's
- 20:45grandparents are speaking out, telling
- 20:47everything they know just to make things
- 20:49more clear. According to them, the
- 20:51stepbrother was the only person seen
- 20:52entering and exiting the cabin that
- 20:54night Anna died. So, the assumption
- 20:56would be that he did do something to
- 20:58her. But they also said that Anna and
- 21:00her stepbrother had a great relationship
- 21:02by all appearances. Kind of going back
- 21:04to what I said earlier, two peas in a
- 21:06pod. So, nobody would expect him or
- 21:09really anyone to do something to such a
- 21:11bright and kind person like Anna.
- 21:14>> Do you think he had anything to do with
- 21:16Anna's death? I mean, he was in a room
- 21:19with her. He was the only one seen
- 21:21coming and going. So,
- 21:24I can't I can't accuse him because I
- 21:26don't know what happened in that room.
- 21:28But the summation would be that that he
- 21:31did something. And has he said anything
- 21:33to you about what happened?
- 21:35>> I heard him in his own words say he does
- 21:39not remember what happened.
- 21:40>> Anna's grandmother says she sat in on a
- 21:42portion of the stepbrother's interview
- 21:44with the FBI. He was an emotional mess.
- 21:48He couldn't even speak.
- 21:51He couldn't believe what had happened.
- 21:53>> And his grandparents say she and her
- 21:55stepbrother were close.
- 21:56>> They were just like brother and sister.
- 21:58>> What else could you tell me about him?
- 22:00>> That he was a good student. Um
- 22:03>> played soccer.
- 22:04>> He played soccer. Very quiet young man.
- 22:07He had demons I think in his past and he
- 22:11was trying to deal with those. and his
- 22:13stepbrother has not been arrested or
- 22:14charged with the crime. Attorneys for
- 22:16both the stepbrother's parents did not
- 22:18respond to ABC's request for comment.
- 22:20The FBI and medical examiner's office
- 22:23also declined to comment.
- 22:24>> So, I know that's a lot. We're still
- 22:27getting the information as it comes in,
- 22:28and I would imagine that we're going to
- 22:30follow this one closely and potentially
- 22:32even do a deep dive on this one in the
- 22:35future.
- 22:36>> It's interesting, too, and I I think
- 22:38you're right. I think we will do a deep
- 22:39dive on this because I don't know again
- 22:41all the nuances but from the things that
- 22:43I have seen there's also a pretty
- 22:47interesting and alarming history with
- 22:49her mom and I saw something where her
- 22:51mom was like wearing a disguise to
- 22:53something. I think it was like a court
- 22:54appearance or something like that. to me
- 22:57when I first heard about this,
- 22:58especially the bar hold against her and
- 23:01the
- 23:02I don't want to say outcries, but the
- 23:06her boyfriend saying that she had had
- 23:08past situations with her stepbrother
- 23:10where he was like fixated on her and
- 23:11obsessed. I was like, "Oh, this must
- 23:13have been a sex that went too far." But
- 23:16to from everything I've seen, there was
- 23:18no indication that any sort of sexual
- 23:20activity took place that night. And so I
- 23:22don't know if it was like an attempt or
- 23:24not or if it was like to your point
- 23:26something that just started to spiral,
- 23:27but like there's a lot more I think that
- 23:30goes into this between the dad, the mom,
- 23:32the stepbrother to where I feel like we
- 23:34definitely will need to do a deep
- 23:35>> and I also thought like I'm thinking
- 23:37Carnival cruise, everyone is highly
- 23:39intoxicated, but there was no evidence
- 23:41of that either. So I was Yeah, I was
- 23:44kind of thinking that too. And just by
- 23:45his reaction when he got off the ship
- 23:47and just after it happened and being
- 23:49just so worked up over it and visibly
- 23:52upset for me it doesn't sound like it
- 23:54was a planned attack. But I mean
- 23:56obviously we'll find out but OB and she
- 23:58kept going back and forth to the room
- 24:00saying she wasn't feeling well. There
- 24:01was even a report that her braces were
- 24:03painful that night and so she had kind
- 24:05of been excusing herself. So I'm not
- 24:08sure if necessarily like it could have
- 24:09been a planned attack versus just maybe
- 24:11an opportunity came up.
- 24:14>> I don't know. I mean, it'll be
- 24:15interesting, too, if they do a talks
- 24:17report on her, which I would imagine
- 24:18they would. And if they haven't, if that
- 24:20hasn't already come back at the time of
- 24:21this recording, I will say, even though
- 24:24Carnival cruises are required 21 and
- 24:26older to drink, it is so easy to get to
- 24:30not only drink on board, but to bring
- 24:32booze on board. I have done one Carnival
- 24:34cruise in my life. I was 21 years old at
- 24:36the time, but you can bring they allow
- 24:38you a certain amount of like sodas or
- 24:40like liters of soda. And so we
- 24:45honestly I know and it's so
- 24:46embarrassing. My loser ex-boyfriend like
- 24:48watched this whole YouTube video of how
- 24:50you can get the cap off through like I
- 24:52think it's like boiling water and then
- 24:53you can reseal it. So like we filled one
- 24:55with vodka sprite in a Seven Up bottle
- 24:57and like I think we had like four of
- 24:59those between like our friends and like
- 25:02it be just because we were cheap and
- 25:03didn't want to buy booze on the cruise.
- 25:05So, it's like it's not unthinkable to
- 25:07think not only that they could have had
- 25:08access potentially to alcohol while on
- 25:10the ship, but could have brought stuff
- 25:12in, too. So, I think the talks report
- 25:14will answer that.
- 25:15>> Yeah.
- 25:17>> I mean, it's so sad.
- 25:25>> You know what I've noticed? The second
- 25:26that the weather starts shifting, my
- 25:28skin is the first one to start
- 25:30panicking. It's like the fall hits, the
- 25:32air gets cooler and drier, and suddenly
- 25:34my usual summertime routine is not
- 25:36cutting it at all. And I recently tried
- 25:39Dime Beauty, and I feel like I'm
- 25:41starting to enter my dime era because
- 25:43their products are clean, effective, and
- 25:45honestly, just make my skin feel happy.
- 25:47Plus, there's no harsh ingredients,
- 25:49which you guys know I avoid like the
- 25:50plague. And since we're now heading into
- 25:52these colder months, hydration is
- 25:54obviously everything. Their hyaluronic
- 25:56acid serum has been one of my newest
- 25:58go-tos. It's super lightweight, but the
- 26:00hydration in it is next level. I use it
- 26:03at night, and my skin just kind of like
- 26:04drinks it in like a big cold glass of
- 26:07water. Then I've tried layering on their
- 26:09TBT cream on top of it, which is their
- 26:12clean retinol alternative. And so it's
- 26:14moisturizing without being greasy, but
- 26:16it gives that really like smooth, bouncy
- 26:18skin. So, I don't know. If I stick with
- 26:20it, I feel like Future Me is going to be
- 26:21very thankful. Also, if you've seen
- 26:23their fragrances all over Tik Tok,
- 26:25because yes, it is that good. It's going
- 26:27viral. It's like wood, warmsy, super
- 26:29cozy. It basically smells like fall in a
- 26:31bottle. It's called Dons's Less Boys, I
- 26:33think is how you pronounce it. But the

- 28:28Okay, so this next case is coming out of
- 28:30Kansas City, Kansas, and the details are
- 28:33still unfolding, but what we know now so
- 28:35far, it is pretty disturbing. In the
- 28:37early morning hours of November 1st,
- 28:40police were called to a home after
- 28:41neighbors had reported gunfire. Now,
- 28:43when the officers arrived, they found
- 28:4520-year-old Anna Warz on the front
- 28:47porch. She had been shot in the lower
- 28:49back. She was rushed to the hospital,
- 28:52but unfortunately, she did not survive.
- 28:54And very quickly, the investigators
- 28:56realized that this was not random at
- 28:59all. According to court documents, Anna
- 29:01had been in a relationship with a man
- 29:03named Kevin Calamako Morales. And in the
- 29:06minutes minutes leading up to the
- 29:08shooting, her phone tells a very intense
- 29:11story. The investigators say that she
- 29:13received 18 phone calls in just 2
- 29:16minutes. All from a phone number that
- 29:19was tied back to Kevin, which 18 calls
- 29:21in 2 minutes? I don't even know how
- 29:23that's physically possible. It's like
- 29:25unhinged. But let's continue. So, after
- 29:27some investigation, surveillance cameras
- 29:29in the area showed a vehicle pulling up
- 29:31to the home just before the shots were
- 29:33fired. Then this vehicle left shortly
- 29:36after. Shell casings were also found and
- 29:39bullet damage was visible on the home.
- 29:41And then what started to emerge was a
- 29:44timeline that felt deeply, deeply
- 29:46personal. According to reports, one
- 29:49witness was heard telling the police at
- 29:51the scene, quote, "It must have been her
- 29:53crazy boyfriend." Then they started
- 29:56going through her messages.
- 29:57Investigators say that Kevin allegedly
- 30:00sent Anna multiple messages after the
- 30:01shooting, including one that read,
- 30:03quote, "You dead ass," which kind of
- 30:06means like, "Are you for real?" But
- 30:07that's like new hipster. Uh, not even
- 30:09hipster, but I guess you could say Gen Z
- 30:11language. But those words are what was
- 30:14reportedly directly in these court
- 30:15documents, too. So, yeah, he said, "You
- 30:17deadass question mark." Now, friends of
- 30:19hers also spoke with investigators, and
- 30:21according to the affidavit, she had told
- 30:23people close to her that Kevin was super
- 30:26controlling. also that he always wanted
- 30:28to know where she was, what she was
- 30:29doing, who she was with. So much so that
- 30:32if he didn't know where she was going or
- 30:34if he didn't like where she was going or
- 30:37who she was going to be with, then he
- 30:39wouldn't let her go. So, all of this
- 30:41painted a very clear picture of what
- 30:43happened and eventually charges were
- 30:45filed. So, Kevin has now been charged
- 30:47with first-degree murder and criminal
- 30:49discharge of a firearm. And right now,
- 30:52investigators aren't just looking at
- 30:53what had happened that night, but also
- 30:56what led up to that night. They're
- 30:58building a full timeline that is rooted
- 31:00in surveillance footage, message logs,
- 31:02witness accounts, and of course,
- 31:04forensic evidence. So, they're really
- 31:06just trying to piece together everything
- 31:07that led up to the moment that she was
- 31:09shot and lost her life. So, this case,
- 31:12like I said, is very much still active.
- 31:14It might be a while before we know for
- 31:16sure what's going to happen with this,
- 31:18but definitely we'll keep an eye on
- 31:20everything and keep you updated. So,
- 31:23lots to go over. I feel like all of
- 31:24these cases are going to get deep dives
