- 0:40yeah, I'm really good. What is this
- 0:42store about?
- 0:43Well, it's mostly Harry Potter, but we
- 0:46are a mixture of other things like
- 0:48souvenirs and gifts. Hello.
- 0:51Hi, how's it going?
- 0:52>> Good, thanks. How are you? Uh yeah,
- 0:54really good. Um what kind of store is
- 0:56this? Uh this is called Dinner. Okay.
- 0:59And we sell lots of delicious food, um
- 1:03things you need to host at home.
- 1:07Hello.
- 1:08>> Hello. Hi, how's it going?
- 1:09>> Okay, thanks. We've been quite busy, but
- 1:11okay.
- 1:12>> Busy today, yeah.
- 1:13>> Yeah. It's a nice day outside.
- 1:14>> It's really lovely day. You have to make
- 1:16the most of the sunshine.
- 1:17>> [laughter]
- 1:18>> Can I help?
- 1:18>> Exactly. Yeah, you may. Um it may seem
- 1:20obvious, but what kind of store is this?
- 1:22Ah, well, this is a lovely hat shop.
- 1:25>> What cakes do you have on offer at the
- 1:26moment?
- 1:26>> So, I've got a very delicious banana

- 1:35uh or a uh Bakewell flapjack, carrot
- 1:39cake, custard tart, or a brownie. Right,
- 1:43you have a lot. Okay. And um is it
- 1:45possible to pay by card? Yeah, yes, you
- 1:48can pay by card. We prefer card. Okay.
- 1:51And but is cash still okay? Uh no, we
- 1:53don't take cash here. It's yeah, That's
- 1:56quite normal in the UK now, isn't it?
- 1:57It's hard to pay by cash.
- 1:59>> It's very common in the UK. What do
- 2:01people usually buy in this store when
- 2:02they come in? What are they usually
- 2:03after? Oh, a good mixture of things.
- 2:06Mostly the Harry Potter things, cuz it's
- 2:08still very popular.
- 2:09>> Yeah. Um, but also our touristy things
- 2:12and like souvenirs do really well. Ah,
- 2:14yeah. You sell these souvenirs of like
- 2:16London. Yes. Even though we're in
- 2:18Brighton.

- 2:24like a sale on at the moment? We don't,
- 2:26I'm afraid. Don't have a sale. Do you
- 2:27usually have sales?
- 2:28>> Not so much. We're an independent shop,
- 2:31so normally the big shops have sales.
- 2:33[music] We don't really. What does an
- 2:35independent shop mean?
- 2:37Means it's owned by one person or a
- 2:40partnership. Right. Um, and a
- 2:43non-independent would be a company.
- 2:45>> [music]
- 2:45>> Right. I see. So, a bigger company, a
- 2:47chain brand. A chain brand. Oh, nice. I
- 2:49like these brimmed ones. Which one would
- 2:51you suggest is a good style? What's
- 2:53what's what's most popular one you Um,

- 3:01Whereas these are trilbies
- 3:04and they have a smaller brims. Okay. And
- 3:06that's their [music] profile. Their
- 3:08profile is like that. So, that's quite
- 3:10nice. Ah, yeah. Does it come in
- 3:11different colors? Yep, different colors.
- 3:14So, we have green Mhm. and Oh, hang on.
- 3:17I'm just doing the trilbies right now.
- 3:19And cream. Nice.
- 3:21Uh, blue and green and a bit of red
- 3:23there. So, yes, we've got lots of

- 5:14This one here?
- 5:15>> Yeah.
- 5:15>> [laughter]
- 5:16>> What sizes does it come in?
- 5:18>> So, let's have a look. So, we have four

- 5:22>> was maybe a bit, I don't know. Bit big?
- 5:25>> That's too big for me.
- 5:26>> That's a large, which is 59 cm. Uh-huh.
- 5:29So, let's see if I can find the next
- 5:30size down for you. And this worker's
- 5:32jacket
- 5:33>> Yeah.
- 5:33>> behind you, this like camel colored one.
- 5:36Um what size is that? That is a uh let
- 5:40me have a look. It's a small. It's a
- 5:42small. Do you What sizes do you have
- 5:44We We generally go from small up to an
- 5:48extra large or even a double extra
- 5:50large. Does it come in different colors
- 5:52on the color? That particular one, no,
- 5:54but we do have many worker jackets in
- 5:57various colors. And can I return it if
- 5:59it doesn't fit if I take it home and it
- 6:00doesn't fit, can I bring it back?
- 6:01>> Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, within like a
- 6:03month if you have the receipt as well,
- 6:06it's no problem to exchange or refund.
- 6:09What's the difference between exchange
- 6:10or refund? What's So, if you're
- 6:12exchanging something, you can exchange
- 6:14for something else that's the the same
- 6:16price. So, it's just like a little swaps
- 6:19swapsies. [music]

- 6:42for another duck?
- 6:44>> [laughter]
- 6:45>> if it's the same price and you can get a
