- 0:00Fibonacci retracements it is a tool that
- 0:03displays horizontal lines based on the
- 0:05Fibonacci numbers these lines can then
- 0:07be used as key support and resistance
- 0:09levels to use the Fibonacci retracement
- 0:11tool you first start by identifying a
- 0:14swing low and swing high on a chart then
- 0:16drag the tool from the swing low to the
- 0:18swing High next wait for the price to
- 0:21make a pull back to one of these levels
- 0:23ideally the 0.382 Fibonacci level
- 0:26because that's the most common level
- 0:28where price tends to reverse from so if
- 0:30price touches that level that could be a
- 0:32good buy entry keep in mind that price
- 0:35could also reverse from other Fibonacci
- 0:37levels combine it with other
- 0:39confirmation signals to get a better
- 0:41entry breakout patterns it is when price
- 0:44makes a sudden and significant movement
- 0:46towards One Direction This usually forms
- 0:49after the market makes a consolidation
- 0:51period for example here we can see that
- 0:53the price is consolidating then it
- 0:56suddenly moves sharply to the downside
- 0:58this is called a Breakout to take
- 1:00advantage of this Traders could use
- 1:02specific patterns as a guide to identify
- 1:04breakouts before they happen most
- 1:06notable breakout patterns includes
- 1:08wedges triangles and the rectangle
- 1:11pattern reversal patterns it is when
- 1:15price moves in the opposite direction of
- 1:16the current Trend and forms a counter
- 1:18Trend specific patterns could be
- 1:20identified in a chart which could help
- 1:22Traders predict reversals before they
- 1:24happen most notable reversal patterns
- 1:26are double top and bottoms triple top
- 1:29and bottoms
- 1:30Head and Shoulders cups and
- 1:33handles aliot wave it is a theory that
- 1:36suggests that market tends to move in a
- 1:38series of five waves before reversing
- 1:40and forming another set of waves in the
- 1:42opposite direction by understanding the
- 1:44Elliot wave sequence Traders could
- 1:46predict where the price is Heading by
- 1:48following the pattern in a chart we can
- 1:50label each point of the Waves as 1 2 3 4
- 1:535 and ABC now there are specific rules
- 1:57to ensure that a movement is considered
- 1:59as a valid Elliot wave first wave 2
- 2:02cannot be longer than wave 1 and usually
- 2:05pulls back to the 0.618 Fibonacci level
- 2:09second wave three must be the longest
- 2:11wave amongst Wave 1 3 and five third
- 2:16Wave 4 must remain above the peak of
- 2:18wave 1 and usually pulls back to the
- 2:210.382 Fibonacci level so here's an
- 2:24example of the Elliot wave in action in
- 2:26this chart we can see that the price
- 2:28resembles a possible one 23 Elliot wave
- 2:31and So based on the theory of wave 4
- 2:33which is that price tends to pull back
- 2:35to the 0.382 Fibonacci level before
- 2:38continuing upwards we can use this as a
- 2:40potential buy entry when price makes a
- 2:44pullback fair value gaps a fair value
- 2:47Gap occurs when a candle forms a
- 2:49significant Gap due to an imbalance of
- 2:52buying or selling to find a fair value
- 2:54Gap you first need to find a candle with
- 2:56a large body then draw a rectangle at
- 2:58the Gap place between the previous
- 3:00candles swick and the next candles swick
- 3:03this level now acts as a potential
- 3:05magnet where price May revisit before
- 3:07continuing its
- 3:09movement Candlestick patterns it is a
- 3:13technique that Traders use to analyze
- 3:14future price movements by looking at
- 3:17specific Candlestick shapes notable
- 3:19Candlestick patterns include engulfing
- 3:21patterns which signal strong momentum
- 3:23towards the direction of the engulfing
- 3:24candle hammer and shooting star patterns
- 3:27which indicates rejection as shown by
- 3:29the long Wick on one side DOI patterns
- 3:32which signals neutrality in the market
- 3:35ha kanashi it is an indicator that fully
- 3:38replaces a traditional Candlestick chart
- 3:40to a hinachi chart when applied it tends
- 3:43to give less noise than a traditional
- 3:45Candlestick a green hinachi candle
- 3:47signals that the price is on an uptrend
- 3:50and a red HK kanashi candle signals that
- 3:52the price is on a downtrend the size of
- 3:54the candle's body also indicates how
- 3:56strong a trend is the larger the candle
- 3:58the stronger the trend keep in mind that
- 4:00the ha kanashi only acts as an indicator
- 4:02it does not display the real market
- 4:04price moon phases it is a concept that
- 4:08utilizes moon cycles to time the market
- 4:11moon face Traders believe that Moon
- 4:12cycles are correlated with human
- 4:14emotions and behavior which could have
- 4:16an influence on the market specific Moon
- 4:18phases are believed to be favorable
- 4:20towards a certain Trend a new moon means
- 4:23the market tends to be bullish and a
- 4:25full moon means the market tends to be
- 4:27bearish today it is used mostly As as a
- 4:29confirmation tool
- 4:32ranko it replaces a traditional
- 4:34Candlestick chart to a ranco chart so
- 4:37unlike a traditional Candlestick which
- 4:39forms a new candle based on a certain
- 4:41period of time a ranco chart forms its
- 4:43block based on the change of price for
- 4:46example every 1% change in price a
- 4:49wrinkle block appears this means that
- 4:51each wrinkle block represents a 1%
- 4:54change in price of course you can change
- 4:56the parameters of this through the
- 4:57indicator settings Traders could utilize
- 5:00ranco Tarts to filter out noise and
- 5:01identify Trends a Green rankle Block
- 5:04signals an uptrend and a red rankle
- 5:06block signals a downtrend and keep in
- 5:08mind that Rano charts only acts as an
- 5:10indicator it does not display the real
- 5:13market price harmonic patterns these are
- 5:16Advanced price patterns that follows a
- 5:18specific shape based on Fibonacci
- 5:20numbers Traders can then use these
- 5:22specific shapes to predict future price
- 5:24movements for example a bullish bad
- 5:26pattern is formed when price makes a
- 5:28series of four movements ments that is
- 5:30shaped like the letter M each point can
- 5:32be labeled as x a b c and d and each of
- 5:35these points has a specific guideline
- 5:37for example point x to point B needs to
- 5:40have a value between 0.382 and 0.5 point
- 5:43a to c needs to have a value between
- 5:460.382 and
- 5:480.886 and the same thing works for the
- 5:50other points next these specific
- 5:52guidelines can then be applied onto a
- 5:54real chart so if you see a price forming
- 5:57a series of four movements you can apply
- 5:59the har monic pattern tool to check if
- 6:00the price that formed matches a patterns
- 6:04guideline if it does then you can take a
- 6:06position based on the pattern that
- 6:09formed there are multiple harmonic
- 6:11patterns that exist most notable are
- 6:13butterfly bat crab and each have their
- 6:17own unique values support and resistance
- 6:21these are key levels that formed
- 6:22horizontally where the price has bounced
- 6:24off in the past and could possibly
- 6:26bounce again in the future if the level
- 6:28is below the Price It's called support
- 6:31where you can take a buy position if the
- 6:33price approaches it and if the level is
- 6:35above the price it's called resistance
- 6:37where you can take a sell position if
- 6:38the price approaches it Dynamic support
- 6:41and resistance similar to support and
- 6:44resistance Dynamic support and
- 6:45resistance also acts as key levels but
- 6:48instead of using static horizontal lines
- 6:50it uses indicators like the moving
- 6:52average to act as our key level trend
- 6:55lines trend lines are key levels that
- 6:57form diagonally during a trend Market
- 7:00you can use trend lines to identify the
- 7:02overall direction of the price upwards
- 7:04trend line means bullish downwards trend
- 7:06line means bearish and similar to
- 7:08support and resistance you can also use
- 7:10the trend line to identify possible
- 7:12entry scenarios for example if price
- 7:15retraces back to a trend line it can be
- 7:17a good opportunity to take a buy
- 7:20position gone angles it is a tool that
- 7:23displays multiple lines that spread
- 7:26continuously on different angles these
- 7:28lines can then act as possible key
- 7:30levels and could also help you measure
- 7:31the strength of a trend price moving
- 7:33within the Steep angles of the tool
- 7:35indicates a strong Trend and price
- 7:37moving within the shallow angles of the
- 7:39tool indicates a weak Trend to apply the
- 7:42Gan angles first you go to settings then
- 7:45make sure to check the lock price to Bar
- 7:47ratio next identify a market range and
- 7:51mark the swing low and the swing highs
- 7:52of that range then draw a straight
- 7:55vertical line at the start of the range
- 7:57after that select the trend angle tool
- 8:00and measure
- 8:0245° then use the gun fan tool and place
- 8:05it at the 45°
- 8:08angle momentum indicators these are the
- 8:11types of indicator that measures the
- 8:13direction and strength of a trend it is
- 8:15most effective when used in trending
- 8:17markets some of the most notable
- 8:18momentum indicators are macd an upwards
- 8:21crossover indicates a bullish Trend
- 8:23while a downwards crossover indicates a
- 8:25bearish trend moving averages price
- 8:28being above the moving average signals a
- 8:30bullish Trend and price being below
- 8:32signals a bearish trend parabolic are a
- 8:35DOT below the price indicates a bullish
- 8:37Trend and a DOT above the price
- 8:39indicates a bearish trend super Trend
- 8:42green signal indicates a bullish Trend
- 8:44and a red signal indicates a bearish
- 8:46trend
- 8:48oscillators these are the types of
- 8:50indicator that displays the relative
- 8:51strength of a price it is most effective
- 8:54when used on choppy or sideways markets
- 8:56most notable oscillators include RSI
- 8:59when the line is in the oversold region
- 9:01it indicates a possible reversal to the
- 9:03upside if it's in the overbought region
- 9:05it indicates a possible reversal to the
- 9:07downside stochastic if both lines are at
- 9:10oversold it signals a possible reversal
- 9:13to the upside and if both lines are at
- 9:15overbought it signals a possible
- 9:17reversal to the downside these two lines
- 9:19can also cross over each other to
- 9:21predict future price movements
- 9:23divergences divergences occur when an
- 9:25indicator displays an opposite signal of
- 9:27the real price movement when this
- 9:29happens it is usually a sign that the
- 9:31trend might reverse divergences could
- 9:34occur in many indicators such as the
- 9:35macd stochastic and the RSI for example
- 9:40here using the macd indicator you can
- 9:42see that the price is forming higher
- 9:44highs which is bullish but the indicator
- 9:46shows the opposite a lower highs which
- 9:49is bearish in this case this is a
- 9:51bearish Divergence which signals that
- 9:53the price may form a reversal and so you
- 9:55can take a sell position
- 9:59volume indicators these are types of
- 10:02indicator that shows the strength behind
- 10:04a price Movement by tracking the trading
- 10:06volume notable volume indicators include
- 10:09price volume which displays the volume
- 10:11for each candle the longer the bar the
- 10:13higher the volume volume weighted
- 10:15average price which shows the ratio of
- 10:17an asset's price to its total volume it
- 10:20can be traded like a moving average or
- 10:22as a dynamic support and resistance
- 10:24volume profiles it displays a volume bar
- 10:27horizontally which can be treated as key
- 10:29levels for potential entry
- 10:31positions supply and demand also
- 10:34referred to as order blocks these are
- 10:37zones where significant price movements
- 10:39have occurred if price moves
- 10:40significantly upwards from a level it is
- 10:43considered a demand Zone and if price
- 10:45moves significantly downwards from a
- 10:47level it is considered a supply Zone
- 10:49just like support and resistance these
- 10:51zones can be treated as key levels for
- 10:53potential entry
- 10:55positions Market structure Market
- 10:57structure is when Trader anal izes the
- 10:59behavior condition and flow of the
- 11:02market an uptrend structure is
- 11:04characterized by Price forming higher
- 11:06highs and higher lows while downtrend
- 11:08structure is characterized by Price
- 11:10forming lower highs and lower
- 11:12lows break of structure it is when price
- 11:16breaks the previous price Peak during a
- 11:18trend for example if the price forms a
- 11:21higher highs and higher lows this break
- 11:23of the previous highs is called Break of
- 11:25structure change of character it occurs
- 11:28when price breaks the previous structure
- 11:30during a trend often signaling a
- 11:32reversal from that current trend for
- 11:35example if the price is forming higher
- 11:37highs and higher lows then it breaks the
- 11:39previous lows forming lower lows this is
- 11:41called a change of character so did I
