106. 5:25you don't engage with a bully if
107. 5:28somebody's bullying you you ignore them
108. 5:30and eventually they get tired and they
109. 5:32leave you alone
110. 5:34and that had worked for me in my life
111. 5:37and so that was kind of how I approached
112. 5:40this we just need to just
113. 5:43to weather this storm and they're
114. 5:46they're mad and they're upset and all
115. 5:49this is going on this is a big news
116. 5:51story right now but it's gonna die down
117. 5:53and it's gonna go away
118. 5:55my remember of
119. 5:57a conversation that I had with my friend
120. 5:58Brad who had been managing the Facebook
121. 6:01page
122. 6:02and he was begging me to
123. 6:06like we need to do something we need to
124. 6:07say something we need a we need to post
125. 6:10something or we need to combat what
126. 6:12they're saying and my response to him at
127. 6:15the time was
128. 6:16you know these are just people who are
129. 6:18taking a break from looking for bigfoot
130. 6:19after a few weeks they're going to leave
131. 6:21us alone and they're going to go back
132. 6:22trying to find Bigfoot like we're not
133. 6:24gonna say anything
134. 6:26and so
135. 6:28on the Facebook page how we were
136. 6:30handling because it was so inundated it
137. 6:33was so inundated and
138. 6:35people were messaging like the
139. 6:37administrator saying aren't you guys
140. 6:39going to do anything about this and we
141. 6:40had
142. 6:41eight people that we had allowed to be
143. 6:43administrators on the page who just
144. 6:45spent as much free time as they could
145. 6:48report band delete report band delete
146. 6:51report band delete trying to get rid of
147. 6:53this stuff just to try and get it far
148. 6:54enough down on the page that if anybody
149. 6:56came to the page the first thing they
150. 6:58would see would be something about Emily
151. 6:59and not all of the spilled
152. 7:01and then by the middle of January I I
153. 7:04finally just turned the page off I
154. 7:06couldn't
155. 7:10I couldn't
156. 7:13I felt like I couldn't protect Emily's
157. 7:15name or her memory anymore
158. 7:18so I have to get rid of it

161. 7:30page off where people still able to
162. 7:32reach you
163. 7:33they were able to
164. 7:36yeah in a number of ways whether it be
165. 7:38by phone or by email or by letters to my
166. 7:42house or through my own personal
167. 7:44Facebook account what steps did you take
168. 7:46to try and ensure that your
169. 7:49your daughters Madeline and Samantha and
170. 7:51Alyssa and Ken and you were
171. 7:55safe

173. 7:58I mean the first thing I didn't even
174. 8:00know about privacy settings
175. 8:02and stuff like that and I didn't realize
176. 8:03that I had you know let myself that
177. 8:05exposed on social media and Facebook was
178. 8:07the only social media account I had so I
179. 8:10changed my privacy settings and um
180. 8:12I I didn't realize that they could still
181. 8:14get a hold of me or try and contact me
182. 8:16through other ways on social media

185. 8:22as far as my girls I just
186. 8:24all you could do was like pray for him
187. 8:26and pray for our family
188. 8:27that I didn't want them never be exposed
189. 8:29to this and I didn't want them to know
190. 8:30what was going on
191. 8:32as far as me and Alyssa
192. 8:35I shared with Alyssa what I felt like I
193. 8:37I could or what I felt like she had told
194. 8:39me that she could handle she she made it
195. 8:42clear that she
196. 8:43wanted to know about stuff but not too

198. 8:48um we had been
199. 8:50there was a contact with the FBI
200. 8:52um her name was Ashley Hall
201. 8:55um we had been introduced to her at one
202. 8:57of the meetings that we had had and so I
203. 9:00would forward stuff to law enforcement
204. 9:02oh and the other thing would just be
205. 9:04tried to report this stuff I would
206. 9:06report it to Facebook I would report
207. 9:07things to YouTube I was like pleading
208. 9:09and pleading for their help
209. 9:11they're either come a point Robbie where
210. 9:15you felt like in order to protect your
211. 9:17family you had to move from boot camp
212. 9:21eventually yeah
213. 9:23and that was
214. 9:24um
215. 9:26is not as easy as a decision as some
216. 9:28people might think
217. 9:32the um
218. 9:35we had this
219. 9:37this family here
220. 9:40of people who knew exactly what we were
221. 9:42experiencing
222. 9:46um meaning that other victims families
223. 9:48and um I didn't know if I could move
224. 9:51anywhere in the country and find that
225. 9:53kind of a support system
226. 9:56but I was so
227. 10:01I was so ashamed in my belief that I had
228. 10:03brought this on everybody because I was
229. 10:06the first person that said somebody said
230. 10:08something I was the person that laughed
231. 10:10I was the person who was being targeted
232. 10:12and by that as we see it went to
233. 10:15everybody
234. 10:18I became vague and we all became they
235. 10:21the day that he talks about that was all
236. 10:24of us
237. 10:25and I felt responsible for that yeah
238. 10:27absolutely
239. 10:29do you still feel responsible for that
240. 10:35on a really deep emotional level I do
241. 10:37logically I know that that's not true
242. 10:40I can't help but feel that
243. 10:42still
244. 10:44so
245. 10:48my relationship with this family of ours
246. 10:52and my mind was deteriorating and I
247. 10:54didn't know how to be around them
248. 10:57I didn't
249. 10:59I just assumed the worst
250. 11:01and
251. 11:03um
252. 11:04and eventually we started looking at
253. 11:06places to move because
254. 11:10um I just
255. 11:12wanted to get some anonymity my girls
256. 11:14were young enough at the time that I
257. 11:15felt like we could move and we can find
258. 11:18a place where this doesn't happen to us
259. 11:21anymore
260. 11:22and I want to give them as normal as an
261. 11:25experience as they can we're the hardest
262. 11:26thing that they have to deal with
263. 11:28is just trying to remember who their
264. 11:30sister was that's all I wanted I wanted
265. 11:32some anonymity and I wanted to get away
266. 11:34and I wanted to provide something that I
267. 11:36felt like I wasn't able to do here
268. 11:39uh
269. 11:42so as a result of all that did you and
270. 11:44your family
271. 11:45pick up sell your house
272. 11:49buy a new house
