27. 0:59them that I would be leaving Stanford
28. 1:01and they let me take the money that that
29. 1:03they both had saved working all their
30. 1:06lives for my brother and I to be able to
31. 1:08go to college and put it into starting
32. 1:11the company we used to come up with
33. 1:14concepts of companies that we would
34. 1:16build together when we were like two and
35. 1:18four with little stuffed animals or Lego
36. 1:21blocks and all this kind of stuff he's
37. 1:23always been my very best friend
38. 1:25the kind of determination that she had
39. 1:27from such a young age around
40. 1:30what she wanted to do and the level of
41. 1:32focus that she set that has stayed true
42. 1:34for her a healthcare Pioneer is being
43. 1:37compared to Visionaries Bill Gates and
44. 1:39Steve Jobs Elizabeth Holmes her mission
45. 1:41is to allow blood testing at a fraction
46. 1:43of Medicare costs and made homes the
47. 1:46world's youngest female self-made
48. 1:47billionaire we're living in a country in
49. 1:50which it's illegal in many states for
50. 1:52people to even get access
51. 1:54to their own health information the
52. 1:57summer the FDA cleared one of our first
53. 1:59finger stick tests that replaces the
54. 2:02need for people to have big vials of
55. 2:04blood taken from their arm when people
56. 2:07get access to their own health
57. 2:08information they can begin to see the
58. 2:11onset of disease and time do something
59. 2:13about it if a female leader can build a
60. 2:15company from nothing to something that
61. 2:18impacts people's lives every single day
62. 2:20it's like there's nothing there's
63. 2:22nothing we can't do we need to create a
64. 2:24stereotype that little girls can be the

67. 2:31two and it comes down to you know at

71. 2:40every single day someone's life is
72. 2:42better because they can afford access to
73. 2:44health information they couldn't afford
74. 2:46before and they begin to get tested in
75. 2:49time to improve outcomes Elizabeth if
