- 0:00Hello and welcome to this masterclass
- 0:03on doing local SEO using Claude. We
- 0:06will explain how we do it internally at
- 0:08the agency and share different
- 0:10strategies that no one else in the
- 0:12market is applying. So, pay close
- 0:15attention. I'll let you know in advance
- 0:17that the session will be a bit long,
- 0:18but don't worry because you'll have
- 0:20everything segmented minute-by-minute
- 0:21in the description of this video. It's
- 0:24crazy because we are applying these
- 0:25strategies in our agency with real
- 0:27clients, and we are having more and
- 0:29more success stories. This is partly
- 0:32because we are leveraging artificial
- 0:34intelligence to work faster, be more
- 0:36efficient, and use different tools that
- 0:38help us throughout the process. So, get
- 0:41comfortable, because we are starting
- 0:43Local SEO with Claude, the complete
- 0:45system to get a local business into the
- 0:47top positions on Google Maps. We are
- 0:50going to cover everything you need to
- 0:52know and everything you must do to rank
- 0:53first on Google Maps, and you will see
- 0:55that most people are not doing what we
- 0:57are telling you. First of all, you
- 1:00should know that a client who is first
- 1:01on Google Maps for the most competitive
- 1:03keyword in the sector usually has over
- 1:05a 200%increase in sales and revenue. We
- 1:08know this from one of our clients who
- 1:10we got to the top position with their
- 1:12main business keyword, and we increased
- 1:14the business's sales and revenue by 200
- 1:16%. The beauty of local SEO and being
- 1:19well-positioned on Google Maps is that
- 1:21you aren't competing with the entire
- 1:22internet; you're competing with the
- 1:24plumber in your neighborhood. So, you
- 1:26are competing against five or ten
- 1:27businesses in your area. If you do the
- 1:30four or five things we are going to
- 1:32tell you well, I am sure you will be
- 1:34far ahead of all of them. A fact
- 1:36provided by Google Business Profile is
- 1:39that well-positioned listings generate
- 1:41around 10,000 views per month. And on
- 1:44top of that, it's all free, as you
- 1:45don't have to invest in advertising. No
- 1:47other channel today gives you this
- 1:50reach at zero cost. So, I'll summarize
- 1:52what we will cover in this session.
- 1:54First, we'll talk about Google Business
- 1:56Profile, categories, services, areas,
- 1:58and posts, which I'm sure many of you
- 2:00have done well and have a minimally
- 2:01correct setup, but I still recommend
- 2:03you watch everything because I am sure
- 2:05you will get a lot of information. Next
- 2:09, we'll talk about reviews, speed,
- 2:11filtering, and automated responses, and
- 2:13I’ll share a unique tool with you
- 2:15that we developed ourselves with Cloud
- 2:17Code to handle reviews—it's amazing.
- 2:20Then we'll review the service pages,
- 2:22which keywords we should work on, and
- 2:24so on. And finally, we’ll do some
- 2:25technical SEO with Cloud to leave the
- 2:27website in perfect condition. Let's
- 2:29start with block one, Google Business
- 2:31Profile. We have to know that the main
- 2:33factor for local ranking is proximity,
- 2:35and we can’t control that, but we can
- 2:37control everything else. What does this
- 2:39mean? That if you search for SEO agency
- 2:42in Miami, my agency will never, ever
- 2:44show up because I’m currently in
- 2:46Andorra, so it will never appear.
- 2:48That’s why I said at the beginning
- 2:50that local SEO is much easier and more
- 2:52efficient to work on because you’re
- 2:53only competing with the 5 or 10 locals
- 2:55or businesses around you. So, what
- 2:58really matters are the four fields that
- 3:00will determine your ranking. First, the
- 3:04categories. They define which searches
- 3:06you can appear for. This comes in handy
- 3:09because we are currently positioning
- 3:11ourselves here in Andorra, since we
- 3:13moved here in 2026. So, the category
- 3:15thing I’m mentioning is basically
- 3:18here, okay? It’s in business category
- 3:20, all right? This section here is very
- 3:22important because this is how, when
- 3:24someone searches for marketing agency,
- 3:26we show up, right? It's important—and
- 3:28I'm sure the smartest one in the class
- 3:30has already seen it—if you look
- 3:32closely, it says "primary" here. This
- 3:35primary category is the most important
- 3:36one in our entire profile, okay? Then
- 3:38we would have all the others, which
- 3:40would be the complementary or secondary
- 3:42ones, let's say. But the most important
- 3:43one is the primary. Then we can add
- 3:46several other categories, okay? But it
- 3:48is super important that we have them
- 3:50all set, both the primary and the
- 3:51secondary ones. I tell you this because
- 3:53many businesses only enter one category
- 3:55and that's it. So, if they search for
- 3:56e-commerce agency, well, hey, I need to
- 3:58show up, right? Or marketing, internet
- 3:59marketing services, right? Something
- 4:01like that, I have to show up. Or
- 4:02marketing consulting, I have to show up
- 4:04. Next would be the service areas. Okay
- 4:06, this is important because we have it
- 4:09down here, and it's this one here. Oh,
- 4:11wait, no, sorry, these service areas,
- 4:13all of these have to be in your local
- 4:15area. I mean, I can’t enter Madrid,
- 4:17Seville, Alicante, and so on here
- 4:19because I’m not providing services in
- 4:20those areas. So, we have to be
- 4:22realistic. It is true that our service
- 4:25is online and international, with
- 4:27clients all over the world, but what I
- 4:29want when working on the Google Maps
- 4:30listing is to target a specific area.
- 4:33So, let's try to cover the entire area,
- 4:35okay? These are the service areas
- 4:37closest to my location. Let's not list
- 4:39every area because that doesn't work.
- 4:42And finally, reviews, which I know are
- 4:44the engine for many of us and where we
- 4:46put in the most work. It is true that
- 4:50for me, it's fundamental and requires a
- 4:52lot of work, but we are going to tell
- 4:54you some strategies on how we do it and
- 4:55more to generate reviews automatically.
- 4:58Watch out for this, I'll say it now: do
- 5:00not buy fake reviews, because if they
- 5:02are fake, be very careful as Google can
- 5:04close your account and it is very hard
- 5:07to recover. So, a quick recap:
- 5:09regarding categories, we can include
- 5:10one primary, as we have shown you, and
- 5:12then up to nine secondary ones. The
- 5:15primary one is the most important. I
- 5:17recommend you choose the one used by
- 5:18other businesses that are already in
- 5:20the top three, okay? So, look at your
- 5:23competitors, and for those in the top
- 5:24three, check their primary category and
- 5:26add it, okay? And then, the secondary
- 5:29ones open up additional searches, right
- 5:31? For example, a plumber could add, you
- 5:34know, drain cleaning, boiler installer,
- 5:36heater repair, etc. Right, all those
- 5:38would be the secondary ones, so if you
- 5:40don't mark secondary categories, there
- 5:42will be a set of searches where you
- 5:43won't appear. So, let's always include
- 5:46the secondary ones, okay? Then, the
- 5:48whole topic of service areas, as we
- 5:50mentioned, should be chosen by search
- 5:52volume and real capacity, not by
- 5:54ambition, okay? So, place them where
- 5:57you actually operate, in the districts
- 5:59with the most searches or the most
- 6:01search intent for your business. If you
- 6:03have a physical location that customers
- 6:05visit, the visible address takes
- 6:06priority and the areas are secondary,
- 6:07okay? This is also super important. We
- 6:10will talk a little bit more about the
- 6:11NAP and such later on. So, alright,
- 6:13let's start getting into Claude. Okay,
- 6:15first we are going to start using these
- 6:18prompts, but let's open it up here. But
- 6:20it is important for you to know that
- 6:22within Claude, there is something very
- 6:24important called skills. Skills are
- 6:27abilities we provide to Claude so it
- 6:29becomes much smarter and an expert at
- 6:31performing a specific task, okay? So,
- 6:35as you can see, we have a bunch of
- 6:36skills here, and under manage skills,
- 6:38well, we would have them all, okay? You
- 6:40can add skills from here, upload a
- 6:42skill, and add an MD file here, well,
- 6:44an MD file. The MD is where you put all
- 6:46the instructions, but I'll leave
- 6:48everything in the description of this
- 6:49video for you to download, okay? So,
- 6:51you download that file and add it right
- 6:54here. And yes, obviously I'll ask for
- 6:56your email because I'll also send you
- 6:58the best SEO tips every week, so don't
- 7:00worry, I won't spam you and I'll
- 7:02include a lot of extra information, so
- 7:05that's a bonus for you. So now we
- 7:07activate this skill; for that, we click
- 7:09here, go to skills, and we're going to
- 7:11add the SEO skill, okay? This one right
- 7:13here, and we paste this prompt, okay?
- 7:14analyze this website. So, here we can
- 7:17put, for example, our competitor's
- 7:19website. I'm going to use my own. As
- 7:20you can see, it will start to analyze
- 7:22the entire website. It will start to
- 7:25analyze the different competitors we
- 7:27have in the area, and here it returns
- 7:29all our competitors, okay? It tells us
- 7:32the Google My Business category, okay?
- 7:34All the ones it has along with the
- 7:35reviews. Here it gives us a short note
- 7:37on what they do, and then it tells us
- 7:39the primary and secondary categories,
- 7:41okay? Digital marketing agency, and
- 7:42then all the secondary ones. blah blah,
- 7:44and then the 50 candidate services for
- 7:46the Google profile, okay? These would
- 7:48all be the SEO ones, everything related
- 7:50to Geo, SEM, and so on, okay? So, all
- 7:51of these would be the services. Did you
- 7:53see how quickly we got that without
- 7:54having to think? It basically handed it
- 7:56all to us on a silver platter by
- 7:58analyzing all the players in my area.
- 8:00It also tells us the recommended
- 8:01service areas, which are the seven
- 8:03parishes here in Andorra and then a
- 8:05natural border area, okay? It already
- 8:07suggests different locations, and here
- 8:09you see it says, "Hey, optional,
- 8:11Barcelona given your actual volume of
- 8:12clients there, but be careful, adding
- 8:14such a large city isn't far from
- 8:16service areas." That's why in this case
- 8:18, strategically, I prefer to focus 100%
- 8:20on Andorra, since for Barcelona we have
- 8:22another entity with another office
- 8:24there, okay? So we have it divided.
- 8:26Damn, this scares me. It says, "Hey, do
- 8:29you want me to prepare the service
- 8:30block now, or would you prefer to talk
- 8:31to Oscar, my partner, first?" Okay, how
- 8:33do you know my partner is Oscar? Where
- 8:34did you get all this from? Okay, so
- 8:36good, you already have a setup far
- 8:38beyond what most people have, who
- 8:39probably just improvised it anyway. You
- 8:42have it done in a moment with
- 8:43artificial intelligence. Let's move on
- 8:45to the next part, which is where the
- 8:47magic happens, since people search for
- 8:49all sorts of things. So, for this, we
- 8:51have to leverage other tools to conduct
- 8:54these searches. We use Semrush, but
- 8:56there are quite a few others. Anyway,
- 8:58I'm going to leave a link in the
- 9:00description so you can try it out for
- 9:02free. And that's it, you sign up and
- 9:05once inside, if we go to the SEO tab,
- 9:07we go to keyword overview and here we
- 9:09add the keyword we want, for example,
- 9:12Plumber Madrid. We also select the
- 9:15location; essentially, what we're doing
- 9:17here is, hey, I want to know how many
- 9:18people search for Plumber Madrid in
- 9:20Spain. We could also select the
- 9:22location, so, well, let's leave it as
- 9:24Spain in general for now, because if I
- 9:26put Madrid, I understand that people
- 9:28from Madrid will be searching. And
- 9:29that's it, we'll hit search and let it
- 9:31work its magic. Because look, look, you
- 9:33see here, data is starting to appear,
- 9:34okay? It tells us, hey, the term
- 9:36plumbers Madrid is being searched 16
- 9:38times a month. And what I like about
- 9:41this is the keyword ideas, okay? If we
- 9:43come over here, you can see we're
- 9:45already starting to see a bunch of
- 9:46interesting little things. If we go
- 9:48here to see the 900 keywords, let's see
- 9:50. Plumber Madrid, Plumber in Madrid,
- 9:53Plumber in Madrid, plumbers in Madrid,
- 9:55Emergency plumber, 24-hour plumber, and
- 9:58so on. Okay, so now a ton of searches
- 10:01that people use to find, well, plumbers
- 10:03in Madrid are coming up, okay? It's
- 10:06true that this is general, but hey, it
- 10:07shows us the searches here, okay? I
- 10:09mean, plumber 1600, plumbers in plural
- 10:131600 with the article is 720 and the
- 10:16same 580, I mean, plural, sorry, 720
- 10:20and singular 590. I mean, I would
- 10:23always try to tag the plural because it
- 10:24has more searches, okay? Or also, for
- 10:26example, emergency. I think this one is
- 10:28quite good, right? Same as urgent, but
- 10:29well, this will give us a bunch of
- 10:31examples here. But then here on the
- 10:33right, you see it says neighborhood. If
- 10:34we click on neighborhood, it will tell
- 10:36us the different neighborhoods, okay?
- 10:37Plumbers, Barrio del Pilar Madrid,
- 10:39Salamanca neighborhood, and so on. And
- 10:41okay, I do see the neighborhoods
- 10:42appearing here, but I think it's
- 10:44because the word neighborhood is
- 10:45included. So, what we're going to do is
- 10:47something more pro. So, we are going to
- 10:49go to all the keywords, and we're going
- 10:51to export them. We'll export them all
- 10:53in a CSV. We'll take this CSV and add
- 10:55it to Claude, okay? We'll add it here
- 10:57and tell it to detect the Madrid
- 10:59neighborhoods that have searches, only
- 11:01list the neighborhoods, and give me a
- 11:02list. Okay, now you see what we're
- 11:03going to do. And that's it, it will
- 11:05analyze all the keywords with the
- 11:07search volume and return a list of all
- 11:08the Madrid neighborhoods where people
- 11:10search for plumbers. See? It already
- 11:13shows us all the keywords here. So, I'm
- 11:15going to tell it to include "plumber"
- 11:16in front, okay? Because that way we
- 11:18already have it. And now we just copy
- 11:20this, go back here, go to keywords, and
- 11:23add all these keywords, okay? And from
- 11:26here, we'll click search, and it
- 11:28already tells us, for example, Plumber
- 11:29Las Rozas 390 searches. Plumber
- 11:32Moratalaz 110, in Vallecas 110, in
- 11:34Aluche 90. So all these are the words
- 11:37we need to work on. Okay. I don't know
- 11:40why it didn't load these here. Ah,
- 11:41right, because they have no searches. I
- 11:42see. Okay. But still, they are around
- 11:44somewhere. I think Plumber Salamanca
- 11:46neighborhood should definitely have
- 11:47searches. So, I'm not sure why it might
- 11:49not detect it, but what we know for
- 11:51sure is that all these are indeed being
- 11:53searched for every month on Google. So,
- 11:55with all of this detected, these would
- 11:57be the areas we need to work on within
- 12:00Google Maps, and you'll see later that
- 12:02we'll create an even more powerful
- 12:04strategy to rank in all these locations
- 12:06. But first things first, the pain test
- 12:08is important, okay? If a service
- 12:10category or area feels like filler,
- 12:11they aren't going to include it, okay?
- 12:13I mean, Google suspends accounts for
- 12:15inflated profiles, so don't get carried
- 12:17away. None of you here is Mark
- 12:19Zuckerberg with a multinational
- 12:20presence all over the world. So hey,
- 12:22keep it grounded and put the location
- 12:24where you actually operate, because
- 12:25then come the tears and, "Pedro, I
- 12:27followed your advice in this video and
- 12:28now everything is broken, my account
- 12:30was canceled, etc.," I warned you. Okay
- 12:32, next point, you have to keep in mind
- 12:35that Google listings are essentially
- 12:38social networks, okay? So, yeah, it’s
- 12:41a bit of a hassle, but we need to have
- 12:43posts constantly, okay? Posting on
- 12:47Google Business Profile doesn't
- 12:48directly increase views; what it does
- 12:50is increase conversion. Someone who
- 12:53arrives at a listing with activity and
- 12:55recent content is more likely to call.
- 12:58And we're also giving Google signals
- 12:59that our business isn't closed, it’s
- 13:01active. So, a profile with no activity
- 13:04for months loses trust with the
- 13:06algorithm. Either you receive a lot of
- 13:09reviews continuously. Then Google will
- 13:11say, "Okay, this profile gets a lot of
- 13:13reviews, I believe it." Or we are going
- 13:15to give it life little by little. At
- 13:17the end of the day, it is a social
- 13:18network. It’s like if you have an
- 13:20Instagram account and you never post,
- 13:21right? Well, what is Google going to
- 13:22say? It’ll say, "Hey, if this account
- 13:24never posts, get rid of it," right? So
- 13:25we are a bit committed to having to
- 13:28make posts. Don't worry, we have
- 13:30artificial intelligence and we are
- 13:31going to automate everything. So we are
- 13:34going to explain how we do it
- 13:36internally at the agency and how we
- 13:38handle it with clients so you can
- 13:40replicate it. The first thing we have
- 13:43to do in Claude would be to create our
- 13:45own custom voice skill. What does this
- 13:47mean? It means that when we write, it
- 13:50has to carry our tone of voice, okay?
- 13:54Otherwise, all the posts will sound the
- 13:56same to everyone, but if we add our
- 13:58tone, our vocabulary, our humor, and so
- 14:00on, it will be much more adapted. So,
- 14:03what we would have to do is inside
- 14:04Claude, we are going to open a new one.
- 14:06If we click on skills here, as you can
- 14:08see, we have, for example, the Pedroseo
- 14:10Brand Voice, which, if you read it over
- 14:12or let's open it, we ask, what does
- 14:14this skill do? Okay, so what this skill
- 14:16does is replicate my communication tone
- 14:18. So this skill has my transcriptions,
- 14:21my LinkedIn articles, my emails, and it
- 14:23writes like me, okay? So, what my team
- 14:25does is log in here and write it, okay?
- 14:27We do the same for different clients,
- 14:29okay? We always create this brand voice
- 14:31for everyone to have it documented and
- 14:33be able to write like them, okay? See,
- 14:35apply your brand voice to any content,
- 14:37like LinkedIn, YouTube scripts, emails,
- 14:39blah, blah, blah. So it will write like
- 14:41me to create this skill. Basically,
- 14:43it’s here in "manage skills," and
- 14:45from here, when you click add, you can
- 14:47create one with Claude. So you click
- 14:49create one here, and after the prompt
- 14:51it gives you, you say, "Hey, I want to
- 14:53create a skill that talks like me." And
- 14:55here we add different files. Okay,
- 14:57you'll see it's very simple. In fact,
- 15:00Claude already comes with a skill
- 15:01that’s at the very bottom. Skill
- 15:03Creator is this one right here. Okay?
- 15:04So, here you can also do this and say,
- 15:06"Hey, I’m going to create a brand
- 15:08voice skill for my company that does
- 15:10this, this, and that." And little by
- 15:12little, it will start asking you
- 15:13questions and that’s it. You simply
- 15:15answer the questions the skill asks you
- 15:17, and you’ll create that skill so you
- 15:19can use it. But that’s the first
- 15:21thing: having your own personal skill
- 15:22so it communicates like you. Then,
- 15:24image generation. We do this with
- 15:26Leonardo, okay? This is this tool right
- 15:29here. It's amazing for generating
- 15:31images, videos, and so on. I mean, it
- 15:33has everything. Okay? Here in images,
- 15:35as you can see, it has a ton of options
- 15:36. It has Stable Diffusion, it has GPT,
- 15:38it has them all. Okay? So, from here,
- 15:40you’ll be able to create the image.
- 15:42We have all of this automated. So, now
- 15:45we’ll show you how we actually do it
- 15:47ourselves. But if you want to do it
- 15:49manually, you’ll have to come here,
- 15:50create an image, and say a bit of what
- 15:52you want, okay? And that’s it. You
- 15:53create the image for yourself right
- 15:55here. It's your choice, I recommend
- 15:56using Nanobanana, but you can use
- 15:58others if you know them. And that's it.
- 15:59Generate the image, and that's that.
- 16:01This is an automated way of doing it.
- 16:04Regardless, I recommend that if you
- 16:06have a business, take photos of your
- 16:08business. I mean, even if they look a
- 16:10bit cruder than what AI can do, it’s
- 16:13much more natural and personal.
- 16:16Customers and people like what's real,
- 16:18so I recommend making it as authentic
- 16:21as possible, okay? Let’s rely on AI
- 16:25when we can’t do the other, but if we
- 16:27can use our business, our team, our
- 16:30cards, or whatever is ours, it’s
- 16:32better for the idea. And finally, a
- 16:35local SEO skill to help you create a
- 16:38content plan, okay? So, we add the
- 16:41local SEO skill and then we use this
- 16:44prompt, okay? Analyze the website. Here
- 16:47we'll put ours, palose.com, and
- 16:49generate a 30-day content plan for
- 16:51Google Business Profile. The Google
- 16:53Business Profile posts. For each post
- 16:55idea, include the topic, type, hook,
- 16:57short title, suggested text,
- 16:59recommended CTA, and photo to use if
- 17:01applicable, okay? Base the ideas on the
- 17:03actual services, products, current
- 17:05season, quick wins, and so on, okay?
- 17:07Okay. Here we can add whatever you want
- 17:10, okay? If you have offers or something
- 17:12specific, you can add it, okay? In the
- 17:14prompt, okay? Ultimately, let this
- 17:16prompt serve as a base, but add
- 17:17whatever you consider appropriate, okay
- 17:19? What is important is to include at
- 17:21least this part, okay? This one here
- 17:23will work for you. Then here you can
- 17:25add a bit of whatever you like, okay?
- 17:28And that's it, now we press enter and
- 17:30wait a bit since it takes time, and you
- 17:32see, it's so easy a baby could do it.
- 17:38Because this was a piece of cake: copy,
- 17:40paste, input, and now it starts giving
- 17:42us the whole content plan for Google
- 17:43Business Profile, okay? For example,
- 17:45hey, new headquarters in Andorra, SEO
- 17:48Geo Chat GPT recommends your brand.
- 17:50Zona F success story, free marketing
- 17:52audit, paid media with real ROAS, and
- 17:54the Palos Eco School academy, which we
- 17:55recently launched and by the way, has
- 17:57info in the video description. Well,
- 18:00UFESA success story, automations with
- 18:02N8N, well, no long-term contracts, no
- 18:03fine print, well, it gives you
- 18:05different ideas for your content plan,
- 18:07okay? And here it even tells you, "Hey,
- 18:09day 1, day 3, day 6," it gives you all
- 18:12the content. So you have no excuse for
- 18:14not keeping your Google Business
- 18:16Profile updated. Now, if you want to do
- 18:19it professionally, like we do at the
- 18:21agency, you have to use artificial
- 18:23intelligence tools like the one you see
- 18:25on screen. We developed all this
- 18:28internally with Cloud Code and well,
- 18:30you just need to know that, today,
- 18:31developing these tools is super easy in
- 18:33quotes, although it requires a lot of
- 18:35time because we have dedicated a lot of
- 18:37time to this, many credits and so on;
- 18:39but know that this, today, is very easy
- 18:41to develop: it's just time and putting
- 18:43in prompts, prompts, and prompts. So,
- 18:45what we do with this is have our own
- 18:48local SEO tool with artificial
- 18:50intelligence. And for example, here we
- 18:52manage our businesses or those of our
- 18:55clients. And when we want to manage the
- 18:57whole topic of posts we were discussing
- 19:00, we have a GBP post section where we
- 19:02explain what we want and the AI itself
- 19:04creates the post for us. For example,
- 19:06for this client that works on swimming
- 19:08pools, we can tell it to just make a
- 19:10post to announce that we'll be out this
- 19:12summer enjoying the pools and if they
- 19:14want us to work on their pool, just
- 19:16leave a message and we'll reply as well
- 19:18. So, what we basically do is hit
- 19:19create post and it will automatically
- 19:21create this post that also has the
- 19:23client's brand voice, and the good
- 19:24thing is that it will even generate an
- 19:26image for you because it's connected
- 19:28via API with Midjourney, which is where
- 19:30we create the images. So nothing, just
- 19:33say it's awesome, it saves us a ton of
- 19:34time and it creates this post for us
- 19:36that says, "This summer you'll find us
- 19:38where you should be too: at the pool."
- 19:41Yes, we're taking a well-deserved break
- 19:42, blah, blah, blah. Well, nothing, here
- 19:44it's just a close, slightly cheeky tone
- 19:46, but anyway, we just publish this to
- 19:48our profile. If we don't like the image
- 19:50, we go to Midjourney and make another
- 19:51one. Well, I know many of you will say,
- 19:53"Hey, I see a lot of features here, I
- 19:55see a lot of things," and yes, we've
- 19:57actually been working on this for a few
- 19:59months now, so we’re implementing it
- 20:01little by little. And the topic I
- 20:03wanted to talk to you about now is
- 20:05reviews, because reviews—I'll make it
- 20:07big so it's understood—are possibly
- 20:10one of the best ranking factors for
- 20:11local SEO. That is to say, if you
- 20:14search for something, if you have good
- 20:16reviews, you can bet you’re going to
- 20:17show up on Google Maps. So, we’re
- 20:19going to explain how to work on reviews
- 20:21and how important they are. Actually,
- 20:23the first thing is that Google doesn't
- 20:25look at how many reviews you have, but
- 20:26rather at the speed at which they
- 20:28arrive. This means that if you get 50
- 20:31reviews one month and five the next,
- 20:32Google will say, "Whoa, something weird
- 20:34happened here, right?" So, there must
- 20:37be a continuous flow of reviews, okay?
- 20:39That is super important and it's where
- 20:41most businesses fail, because there are
- 20:43days when they get a surge and say, "
- 20:44Today I’m going to ask everyone for
- 20:46reviews." No, they just start asking
- 20:47for reviews and that's it. You have to
- 20:49ask for reviews little by little,
- 20:50always. So, you have to create systems
- 20:52or strategies for gathering reviews. It
- 20:55is essential for everything to work.
- 20:57Something we recommend would be about
- 21:0010 reviews to start. It’s the minimum
- 21:02for Google to say, "Okay, I believe
- 21:03this profile." And then about two
- 21:05reviews a week or one review a week,
- 21:07depending on the sector, depending on
- 21:09where you're located, and so on. I know
- 21:12it's complicated, but it's what we
- 21:13recommend. So, as I was telling you,
- 21:16that's why we developed this AI tool,
- 21:18because what we do here is analyze and
- 21:20work on the reviews. What we've done
- 21:24with artificial intelligence is that if
- 21:27you go to a Google profile, copy the
- 21:29link, paste it here directly, and hit
- 21:31analyze, this tool will automatically
- 21:34extract 100 reviews. We could have
- 21:36added 1,000, but it costs us money,
- 21:38that’s why we put in 100. And what it
- 21:40will do is extract the reviews for this
- 21:42business. It will go through them, you
- 21:44know, analyzing them all, extracting
- 21:46them, and detecting patterns. And it
- 21:48will tell you exactly if people like
- 21:51this soup or this stew, or if they
- 21:53don't, or whatever it is. So, it will
- 21:56detect the good and the bad of your
- 21:57business. And this is fundamental
- 22:00because it will help you know your
- 22:01product and really understand your
- 22:03flaws. So you will know what your
- 22:06strengths are, and we will boost them
- 22:08through marketing and strategy, while
- 22:10correcting those weaknesses so your
- 22:12business works better. So, we aren't
- 22:16just working on the positioning of our
- 22:18Google Maps listing; we are actually
- 22:20improving our business. So, for me,
- 22:22this is fundamental. For example, in
- 22:24this restaurant we are looking at,
- 22:26Kangallego, which in this case had
- 22:281,000 reviews. I picked it randomly—I
- 22:30don't know who you are—but it had
- 22:321,000 reviews, we've set it to 100, so
- 22:34we can trust it or not, but well, it
- 22:35has a 3.9, so let's see what was said.
- 22:38Here it says there are eight mentions
- 22:40that the tapas portions are small or
- 22:42insufficient, so you need to be a
- 22:43little more generous. Service is slow
- 22:46or disorganized during busy times.
- 22:48Maybe you need to hire someone else. My
- 22:50goodness, food poisoning from
- 22:52appetizers. Well, this is from July
- 22:542023, salmonella and emergency room
- 22:56visits. Oh boy, but I've detected five
- 22:58of them, right? Watch out for this. And
- 22:59then here, competitive advantages,
- 23:01right? Well, look, price and quality
- 23:02are excellent. Daily menu, 25 people
- 23:04talking about your daily menu being
- 23:06good, so hey, promote all of that.
- 23:08Family-friendly and cozy atmosphere,
- 23:10you know your target audience, so focus
- 23:12on that. Outstanding homemade desserts.
- 23:14Hey, if you make good desserts, focus
- 23:16on that, right? Also. So, good, thanks
- 23:19to this tool, we can quickly know what
- 23:21is working in a business and what is
- 23:23not. We could add different players to
- 23:26find out what they have that is good or
- 23:28bad as well. And well, what we are
- 23:30going to do is keep improving this
- 23:32little by little. So, regarding reviews
- 23:34, what we are going to do, for example,
- 23:37is also automate them; that is, if a
- 23:39customer comes in, automatically ask
- 23:41for a review or speed up that process,
- 23:43because, ultimately, the key is to
- 23:45create a strategy for collecting
- 23:47reviews, go for volume, and let it work
- 23:49little by little. In fact, that is
- 23:53something we work on within the
- 23:54community, where there is a specific
- 23:56local SEO module where we explain all
- 23:57the strategies to capture reviews, how
- 23:59they work, and so on. All of this is
- 24:02what we explain in depth within our SEO
- 24:04community, where we have a module
- 24:06dedicated 100%to local SEO, where we
- 24:08explain different methodologies we use
- 24:10in the agency and. Also, we hold live
- 24:12sessions with Javier Delgado, who is a
- 24:14local SEO expert and does a monthly
- 24:16session on local SEO, and you can see
- 24:18more information and join in the video
- 24:19description and also. Plus, you will
- 24:21also be able to try our tool, because
- 24:23right now it is only available to
- 24:25members of the community. So, if you
- 24:27want to join, try it out and so on,
- 24:28well, you'll have to join, because for
- 24:30now we haven't done a Go to Market, so
- 24:32you can't access it. And let me tell
- 24:34you that it has many features that I
- 24:36haven't shown you yet, like, for
- 24:37example, the Geogrid topic, which for
- 24:39me is fundamental. So, well, I'm going
- 24:42to grab this Galician restaurant that
- 24:43works for me, it's perfect since it's
- 24:45around here near Badalona, Barcelona.
- 24:48And anyway, basically what we do is put
- 24:50its link here and for example, this one
- 24:52would like that when someone searches
- 24:54within a 3 km radius, we could put
- 24:55something else, even one even. And here
- 24:58the grid size, 5x5 is fine. It means
- 25:00the queries that will be made. I'll
- 25:02explain it to you now, but the key is
- 25:03that within a 3 km radius, when someone
- 25:05searches for Galician restaurant, he is
- 25:07the best option, right? So, well, when
- 25:10we hit analyze, what the tool has done
- 25:12is it has set itself within a 3 km
- 25:13radius and started searching for
- 25:15Galician restaurant. And in this case,
- 25:18in your exact location, you do appear
- 25:19in the first position and if they go a
- 25:21little to the right of Badalona, then
- 25:23you would be in fourth. In Santa Coloma
- 25:25, you would be in eighth, you would be
- 25:27down here and around here you would
- 25:28start to almost not appear at all. Okay
- 25:30, so the key here is that your business
- 25:32starts to appear in the different
- 25:34locations where the potential customer
- 25:36who is going to buy from you will be
- 25:38searching.
- 25:39And Pedro, how can I do to position
- 25:40myself everywhere?
- 25:41Well, I'll explain it to you now
- 25:43because there are a lot of things you
- 25:45need to know, like, for example, that
- 25:47it's as simple as coming here to GBP
- 25:48Audit and putting your Google profile
- 25:50here. And this with Cloud will do is
- 25:53analyze your entire Google Maps profile
- 25:55and tell you everything you need to do
- 25:57to improve your profile. And that is
- 26:00how you actually use Claude to work on
- 26:03local SEO. Otherwise, what you can also
- 26:05do is activate the local SEO skill and
- 26:08tell it, hey, have it analyze this
- 26:10listing, and you provide the exact
- 26:12listing. But it's not as professional
- 26:14as what I'm going to share with you via
- 26:16my app, because we built it ourselves,
- 26:17and at the end of the day, it's an app
- 26:19that cross-references data and does it
- 26:21much faster. But I must say, this skill
- 26:23is also amazing and will give you a
- 26:25very good foundation so that you can,
- 26:26well, start implementing it, okay? It
- 26:29will do that whole analysis for you.
- 26:30And here you have the entire audit. It
- 26:32got a 69 out of 100. That’s pretty
- 26:35good, since, hey, you have strong
- 26:37points, you have something very good,
- 26:38which is, hey, 242 photos, not many
- 26:40people have that, right? Extensive
- 26:42digital menu, complete attributes,
- 26:43verified claimed listing. Hey, very
- 26:45good. Just two critical points, man.
- 26:48Business description. The current one
- 26:51is blah blah blah, whatever, but anyway
- 26:53, you need to rewrite it up to 700
- 26:54characters, including star specialties,
- 26:57which it seems you have. Well, value
- 26:58proposition. Well, it gives you a
- 27:00recommendation here and, damn, website,
- 27:01I mean, I'm going to get into this in
- 27:03depth because I want this to sink in
- 27:04too. When we do local SEO, it's not
- 27:07just the Google Maps listing; we can
- 27:09work on local SEO within our own
- 27:12website. It's possibly the most
- 27:14powerful thing of all because it's the
- 27:16differentiator, meaning every business
- 27:18has a Google Maps listing, anyone can
- 27:20do that, but few have their website
- 27:22tailored to the location. A practical
- 27:25example so it’s understood, okay? I
- 27:27mean, for example, I have an SEO agency
- 27:29in Barcelona, okay? So, here you see it
- 27:31says SEO agency Barcelona, right? This
- 27:33is the keyword I want to rank for, okay
- 27:35? And if you go here and analyze the
- 27:38SEO directly, you'll see how the H1 is
- 27:40SEO agency Barcelona, because this is
- 27:42the location I want to work on, okay?
- 27:45So all of this is local SEO at the end
- 27:47of the day, and the same goes for
- 27:49Madrid, we have the Madrid page, okay?
- 27:51Although our focus, our core is in
- 27:52Barcelona, obviously, but we have the
- 27:54other locations. This is still local
- 27:57SEO. I say this because many people in
- 28:00local SEO only focus on optimizing the
- 28:02Google profile, which is a mistake;
- 28:04that’s where we really eat our
- 28:06competitors alive, because we work on
- 28:08the verticals within our own website.
- 28:10And here is a clear example of someone
- 28:12who doesn't have a website, so you
- 28:14can't really work on local SEO through
- 28:15that channel. But well, being a
- 28:17restaurant, it's not that critical, I
- 28:18have to say. But anyway, regarding
- 28:20reviews, hey, you have a 3.9; you need
- 28:22to start improving them. And then,
- 28:24right here, it creates a roadmap for
- 28:25you, okay? To write the description, to
- 28:27link your website, and to set up an
- 28:29active review acquisition campaign.
- 28:31Respond to all pending negative reviews
- 28:34because you have 151 reviews in total
- 28:36that have no response. Add the "
- 28:38Galician restaurant" category and so on
- 28:40. Well, for me, this is a way to
- 28:42optimize your entire profile because
- 28:44you already have all the errors listed
- 28:46there. And watch out, because this SEO
- 28:48skill didn't do it entirely wrong. It
- 28:50also detected the fact that they don't
- 28:52have their own website, the rating, and
- 28:53some quick wins, okay? Review the
- 28:55Google Business Profile category, fix
- 28:56the NAP, which, man, is all over the
- 28:58place. Well, it looks like your NAP
- 28:59data is incorrect. Our own tool didn't
- 29:01detect this, so we'll have to improve
- 29:03that, okay? But wow, it also provided a
- 29:04brutal local SEO analysis here, you
- 29:06know? I mean, keep an eye on this,
- 29:08really. Watch this, because a lightbulb
- 29:10just went off in my head, and what
- 29:12we're going to do with our app is, "Hey
- 29:14, I don't know where you're getting all
- 29:15this info, but use the local SEO skill
- 29:17we have to perform this entire analysis
- 29:19." I mean, I thought this was even
- 29:22better than the tool itself, okay? So
- 29:24anyway, the tool is in beta, I’m
- 29:26telling you we’re refining and
- 29:27improving it little by little, but wow,
- 29:29watch out for this skill because I find
- 29:31everything it did to be amazing, okay?
- 29:34I mean, it even pulled data from
- 29:36TripAdvisor and Restaurant Guru, okay?
- 29:38So look, it even went into other sites
- 29:40as well, okay? And for local SEO, it's
- 29:41the same thing, okay? It told you no,
- 29:43and well, a bunch of other data too,
- 29:44okay? So, this is how we can quickly
- 29:46audit a Google Maps profile using
- 29:48artificial intelligence. Well, I hope
- 29:51this video was helpful and that you
- 29:52start applying everything we’ve
- 29:54learned here so your Google Maps
- 29:55profile starts ranking better, bringing
- 29:57in more clients, and generating more

- 30:01someone who wants more, who is going to
- 30:03take this seriously, and you want to
- 30:04access the "Deseo con inteligencia
- 30:06artificial" community, I’ll leave the
- 30:08link in the video description; you’ll
