1. 0:00This is the look on Josedeodo’s face
2. 0:02when they decided to give him a Sejuani
3. 0:04in the most important match of the year
4. 0:06.
5. 0:07The League of Legends World Championship
6. 0:09was on fire with Team Liquid facing paiN
7. 0:11Gaming, the Brazilian champion against
8. 0:14the North American champion. Teams where
9. 0:16the Argentinians Josedeodo and Akerman
10. 0:19also play, respectively, on each side.
11. 0:22They are the only homegrown Latin
12. 0:23representation in the entire tournament
13. 0:26. Right from the start of the match,
14. 0:27there were serious problems for the
15. 0:29grandpa's team. Lane by lane, they were
16. 0:31losing pressure. Which made it easy for
17. 0:33the enemy jungler to invade Josedeodo;
18. 0:35it’s a Trundle against a Nocturne.
19. 0:38Nocturne can't defend himself against
20. 0:40that jungler, and he doesn't have his
21. 0:42laners to help him because they are all
22. 0:43losing.
23. 0:44This allowed the Brazilian team to be
24. 0:46very aggressive in the early game,
25. 0:48denying him the blue buff. I tell you,
26. 0:50my parents had more synergy in their
27. 0:52marriage, and they divorced 15 years ago
28. 0:54, than the Team Liquid roster. There’s a
29. 0:57Nocturne, but it’s not that easy for him
30. 0:59to dive in. Facing him is a Trundle who
31. 1:01is going to be super tanky, and you have
32. 1:03no way to take him down because you have
33. 1:05no ADC and you pick a Ziggs ADC.
34. 1:07No one else at Worlds has picked a damn
35. 1:09Ziggs ADC because mages are heavily
36. 1:11nerfed in bot, and for some reason, they
37. 1:13decided to give this Ziggs to Quid. At
38. 1:15the start of the game, Quid tried to
39. 1:17save his jungler and, for being a
40. 1:18meddler, he ate three bullets—first
41. 1:20blood for the Brazilians.
42. 1:22Wherever the King of Trolls was, it was
43. 1:24guaranteed that the Brazilians were
44. 1:26going to win the fight.
45. 1:28Josedeodo tried a gank in the top lane,
46. 1:30but Wizer was also waiting for him. With
47. 1:32club swings and pure force, he ended up
48. 1:34getting a double kill. Behind in gold,
49. 1:37the North American team wanted to keep
50. 1:39fighting.
51. 1:40They looked for Ashe in the back, they
52. 1:42found her, and then Quid used a totally
53. 1:44anemic Seraphine ultimate, ending up
54. 1:46wide open, poorly positioned, and dead.
55. 1:49Another fight that favored the Brazilian
56. 1:51team. The day they executed Saddam
57. 1:53Hussein, one of the worst men in the
58. 1:55world died. Another one is Quid, who for
59. 1:58some reason decided to get close to
60. 2:00throw a bomb that was going to have
61. 2:01absolutely no relevance in the match,
62. 2:03giving away his kill, his Flash, and the
63. 2:05next dragon to the Brazilian team. Quid
64. 2:08makes the mistake of forcing a play in
65. 2:10mid and at the same time in the bot lane
66. 2:12, which makes them get cornered and
67. 2:13allows Wizer to blast them. And the
68. 2:15thing is, that damn Trundle was immortal
69. 2:17; he was incredibly tough. 20:03 Baron
70. 2:19for the Brazilian team, and this is
71. 2:21where it all fell apart. By this point
72. 2:24in the match, it was just a formality.
73. 2:25The Brazilians kept pushing and pushing
74. 2:28, and all Team Liquid could do was
75. 2:30defend with Ziggs 'bombs. Quid was not
76. 2:33having a good game. Josedeodo didn't fit
77. 2:35very well into this comp with Nocturne,
78. 2:37and Morgan had also had a rough time
79. 2:39against Jayce. In a desperate attempt to
80. 2:41mount a comeback in the game, Jose ulted
81. 2:43Hackerman.
82. 2:45He escaped with Flash, and now the
83. 2:47grandpa was left exposed, along with
84. 2:49Quid and Yeon, because Cest used a TP
85. 2:51right behind them to drop in, trap them
86. 2:53, and keep them from getting out.
87. 2:57Still, this was a totally desperate play
88. 2:59when you know everything is completely
89. 3:01screwed, when you know there's not much
90. 3:02left to do, like that time you were in a
91. 3:04relationship, remember?
92. 3:07And you already knew everything had gone
93. 3:09to hell, and you gave them gifts, love,
94. 3:11and affection thinking that could
95. 3:13recover something, but you realized it
96. 3:15didn't, and you just wasted time trying
97. 3:17to fix something that was already broken
98. 3:18.
99. 3:20And of course, with such a disadvantage
100. 3:22in the game, Josedeodo was just one game
101. 3:23away from being eliminated from Worlds.
102. 3:27Enva is a channel sponsor and a site
103. 3:29where you can buy a ton of game keys and
104. 3:31codes more affordably, and yes, you can
105. 3:33also buy RP.
106. 3:35Buying games, keys, or RP on Enva is
107. 3:37completely safe, and their system is
108. 3:39always available to help you in case you
109. 3:41have any trouble with your purchase.
110. 3:43Sign up and use the links I’m leaving in
111. 3:45the description of this video to
112. 3:46continue supporting the channel. Thank
113. 3:48you. Enva. They wouldn't let the grandpa
114. 3:51play Lee Sin, but in this second game,
115. 3:53Team Liquid's composition was much more
116. 3:55playable. With a 100%Lucian-Nami, this
117. 3:58composition depended entirely on the
118. 3:59damage the ADC could output.
119. 4:01For this same reason, Josedeodo dives
120. 4:03the Brazilian team under the turret very
121. 4:06early, resulting in a two-for-two, but
122. 4:08the Brazilian kills went to Hackerman,
123. 4:10so it was a big W since the support
124. 4:12wasn't going to do much with that gold.
125. 4:15Just like in your solo queue games, the
126. 4:17kills were always in bot lane. Jose was
127. 4:18rotating too close to that area,
128. 4:20allowing Yeon to keep getting stronger.
129. 4:23100 gold lead for Team Liquid, showing
130. 4:25that this series wasn't going to be easy
131. 4:26. Fight for the Rift Herald. Grandpa had
132. 4:29been practicing his smiting, and this
133. 4:30time, they didn't steal his objectives.
134. 4:32The team fight looked complicated and it
135. 4:34seemed like Team Liquid could mount a
136. 4:35comeback, but CoreJJ's ultimate is
137. 4:37incredible.
138. 4:38Just like Jose’s entry from Odo, it’s a
139. 4:41fed Xin Zhao with an Orianna and a Nami
140. 4:43putting shields on his back.
141. 4:45Total insanity, impossible to take down
142. 4:47. Team Liquid almost had the game in
143. 4:50their favor.
144. 4:51But no matter how well things are going
145. 4:53in your life, at some point, something
146. 4:55will always find a way to ruin it.
147. 4:58Jjon was poorly positioned and Ces
148. 5:00arrived from behind.
149. 5:01They killed one, then another, then a
150. 5:03third, and the Brazilian team 100%
151. 5:05turned the gold lead around.
152. 5:07To be honest, this team is good. The
153. 5:10Brazilians know what they were doing.
154. 5:12Let’s remember they were the ones who
155. 5:14beat Wipo’s extra team and that up to
156. 5:15this point they had already won a couple
157. 5:17of quite interesting series. It’s a team
158. 5:19with a lot of skill, a lot of skill
159. 5:21among those with little skill. Obviously
160. 5:23, there’s no way in hell they’ll ever
161. 5:25beat a Gen.G or a T1, but hey, we’re
162. 5:26playing some beautiful League of Legends
163. 5:28. The Jarvan and Galio combo is quite
164. 5:30powerful; it didn’t let the Team Liquid
165. 5:32players play comfortably, even less so
166. 5:34when Rumble’s ult dropped on top of them
167. 5:36.
168. 5:37However, despite not really winning the
169. 5:39team fights, Team Liquid was one dragon
170. 5:40away from the Chemtech soul, which is
171. 5:42totally broken.
172. 5:43The next dragon team fight started with
173. 5:45Jose diving in headfirst with flash and
174. 5:47Orianna’s ult to deal a lot of damage to
175. 5:49the enemy team. Morgan was in the back,
176. 5:52engaging quite correctly. The whole team
177. 5:54was throwing everything at the tank,
178. 5:56like they do in low elo, Bronze 2, and
179. 5:58for this very reason, they couldn’t kill
180. 5:59anyone. Chemtech soul for the Team
181. 6:01Liquid team. The game extended so long
182. 6:03that it was time to fight for the Elder
183. 6:05Dragon. A team fight in tied gold, but
184. 6:07how broken can you be, Chemtech soul?
185. 6:10This dragon soul is insane. Morgan dives
186. 6:13headfirst, plays it terribly, everything
187. 6:14looks complicated, but it doesn’t matter
188. 6:16. The moment they dive in to fight, Team
189. 6:18Liquid doesn’t die. This soul grants
190. 6:21resistance and damage as health drops,
191. 6:23and their health never dropped low
192. 6:25enough. It’s crazy what this dragon does
193. 6:27. And with this, obviously, the series
194. 6:29went one to one. The next team to lose a
195. 6:32game was eliminated from Worlds 2026.
196. 6:35I personally believe that the person
197. 6:36drafting for the Team Liquid team needs
198. 6:38to go to jail.
199. 6:40They played the first pick of the game,
200. 6:42a Viktor, chose the blue side, and
201. 6:44therefore gave the last pick of the game
202. 6:46to them, something they would use to
203. 6:48counter the map.
204. 6:49They took a Viktor, and how did this
205. 6:51Viktor do? Well, we're about to see.
206. 6:53Then there was the decision to leave it
207. 6:55to the grandfather.
208. 6:56Five jungles banned, the opposing team
209. 6:58decided to give them a Sejuani, and you
210. 7:00can see his face.
211. 7:02You can see his face of total
212. 7:04disappointment, of, of, of anger that
213. 7:06this was.
214. 7:08And watch out for that last pick for the
215. 7:11top lane, a Tristana, a Tristana to play
216. 7:14against a Gnar, a Gnar.
217. 7:18This pick and a team that relied 100%on
218. 7:20Quit not screwing up in lane and Gion
219. 7:22not screwing up in the late game.
220. 7:24In other words, we're screwed. The
221. 7:26problem is that Gion was losing the
222. 7:27early game against the Kalista-Renata,
223. 7:29which is very broken. Tristana was
224. 7:30obviously rolling over the Gnar, and
225. 7:32Quid in the mid lane was also suffering
226. 7:35.
227. 7:35It was repeating the exact same pattern
228. 7:37as the first game, where JoseDeDoDo
229. 7:39couldn't go out and do anything because
230. 7:40everyone was losing.
231. 7:42Morgan under the turret was dived by
232. 7:44Cures, a Pantheon who has a pretty
233. 7:45strong gank right now, and a Tristana
234. 7:47with exhaust secured first blood.
235. 7:49Seconds earlier, Quit lost his flash and
236. 7:51now it was an easy gank for them,
237. 7:53another kill in the mid lane, and the
238. 7:55Viktor you prioritized so much was
239. 7:56already struggling in the game. At
240. 7:58minute 15, the gold difference was 4,000
241. 8:01.
242. 8:02If you're facing Gen.G, if you're facing
243. 8:04T1, you know that the game is completely
244. 8:06lost here.
245. 8:08However, maybe they, as a Brazilian team
246. 8:10with those Latin American principles of
247. 8:12being bad at League of Legends, could
248. 8:14throw the game.
249. 8:15So, up to this moment, the faith existed
250. 8:17. Baron Nashor for them at minute 23.
251. 8:22A team fight that ended up fairly even,
252. 8:24and at this moment, sure, you might
253. 8:25think, 5,300 gold behind, this is lost,
254. 8:27but when you see the team fight, the
255. 8:29Brazilian players ended up very low,
256. 8:31which gives you a bit of hope.
257. 8:34You have to see the glass half full, but
258. 8:37half full of, because the pressure
259. 8:39continued in each and every lane and
260. 8:41there was no way to stop these guys.
261. 8:44A huge fight broke out over what could
262. 8:46be the Infernal Soul, the Smite here was
263. 8:49absolutely vital. Against all odds, Gion
264. 8:53takes the damn dragon with a basic
265. 8:55attack.
266. 8:57So now Team Liquid could keep playing,
267. 8:59and not only did they take the dragon,
268. 9:01but they also secured the kill on Gion's
269. 9:03Tristana directly.
270. 9:04The Yunnara started to get fed. A very
271. 9:06important fight at the dragon. Gion is
272. 9:08caught, even though he had barrier and
273. 9:10flash. He's the first to die, and while
274. 9:12they manage to take the dragon with a
275. 9:14smite from José, four people lose their
276. 9:16lives. At this moment, LOUD was going
277. 9:18mid to end the game and kill the dream.
278. 9:21They ran out of time because Morgan used
279. 9:23a TP behind them to buy more seconds,
280. 9:25take out the minions, and draw
281. 9:27Tristana's mark, otherwise this would
282. 9:29have been the end.
283. 9:31LOUD knew the way to win this game was
284. 9:33by killing Gion, so they desperately
285. 9:35hunted him in team fights, which at
286. 9:37times made them act recklessly to
287. 9:38horrible moments like this one, where
288. 9:40Kalista is left alone, giving away
289. 9:42another streak to the Team Liquid ADC.
290. 9:46One of the best games of the world
291. 9:47championship in terms of excitement,
292. 9:49very long, 42 minutes.
293. 9:51Baron for Team Liquid, Infernal Soul for
294. 9:53LOUD; LOUD's midlaner had to base
295. 9:55because Gion was taking all his health
296. 9:57away in three basic attacks. The retreat
297. 9:59as a block for Brazil had to happen when
298. 10:01that Yunnara advanced. The gold
299. 10:03difference didn't matter, all the
300. 10:05players already had their items way
301. 10:08ahead.
302. 10:09Why the hell the Viktor that was
303. 10:11prioritized as a first pick was 0-4, and
304. 10:12why he built to melt tanks when everyone
305. 10:14on the enemy team was squishy, we will
306. 10:16never know.
307. 10:18And why in the final team fight of the
308. 10:20game, when Dudu stepped forward, Gion
309. 10:22decided to run instead of hitting more
310. 10:24than two basic attacks in the whole
311. 10:25fight, we won't know either.
312. 10:28Dudu survived thanks to Renata Glasc's
313. 10:30passive. Akerman was saved. Now it was
314. 10:32four against five, and there was an
315. 10:34Elder Dragon plus Baron Nashor.
316. 10:37Morgan was doing nothing with this Gnar
317. 10:39, and the moment he decided to do
318. 10:40something it was a disaster because he
319. 10:42lost his flash and enabled the whole
320. 10:44LOUD team to push forward, causing
321. 10:46almost all of Team Liquid to die, lose
322. 10:48the game, and get eliminated from Worlds
323. 10:50.
324. 10:51Brazil qualified, one game away from
325. 10:53reaching the quarterfinals for the first
326. 10:55time in history. Akerman held on, and
327. 10:57Josédeodo was out of the world
328. 10:59championship.
329. 11:00I've been complaining for three days
330. 11:02about the draft and other things that
331. 11:03have no significance now because we are
332. 11:05entering the final phase of the League
333. 11:07of Legends World Championship.
334. 11:09By the way, the following day, Lion
335. 11:11Gaming eliminated LOUD from Worlds and
336. 11:12qualified for the quarterfinals for the
337. 11:14first time in the organization's history
338. 11:15.
339. 11:17For many they are Latinos, for others
340. 11:18they aren't, for me they are simply ways
341. 11:20to squeeze viewers into my videos.
342. 11:23To be very honest, Lion Gaming is
343. 11:24starting to grow on me because you can
344. 11:26see they suffer a lot as a team; they
345. 11:27hate each other, they loathe each other
346. 11:29.
347. 11:30In other teams, working hard and getting
348. 11:32along is important. These bastards hate
349. 11:35each other. Their work mechanism is
350. 11:37bullying, and honestly, that really
351. 11:38represents me. On the other hand, Hanwha
352. 11:41Life, one of my favorite teams at Worlds
353. 11:43where Zeus and Gumayusi play, were
354. 11:45eliminated by Bilibili. They were
355. 11:48knocked out 2-0 against Bilibili, the
356. 11:50same Bilibili that lost to Movistar R7.
357. 11:52I can't believe you lose to Bay's team
358. 11:55and then come and beat the hell out of
359. 11:57Hanwha Life twice. And that, honestly,
360. 11:59really messed me up because I'm a huge
361. 12:01fan of Hanwha Life, until the Bilibili
362. 12:03interview where Viper, the Korean ADC
363. 12:05for the Chinese team, almost broke into
364. 12:07tears saying his mom is currently going
365. 12:09through cancer and it's very rewarding
366. 12:11for him to know she's there watching and
367. 12:13supporting him. What an absolute legend
368. 12:16. I'm more Chinese than Temu, man.
369. 12:19These are the Worlds quarterfinals with
370. 12:20everything set up for a grand final
371. 12:22between Gen.G and T1, if neither of them
372. 12:24pisses their pants.
373. 12:26Still, the road is difficult, Invictus
374. 12:27is coming in at a very good level and on
375. 12:29the other side, T1 has to face DK or
376. 12:31Bilibili who are also very strong.
377. 12:33Remember that I am streaming Worlds on
378. 12:35my channel and that I'm uploading some
379. 12:37replays of the narrations to my
380. 12:38secondary channel, Johnny Yuro TV. I
381. 12:40send you all a big hug and thank you for
382. 12:42joining me in this video. Worlds is
383. 12:44slipping away from us.
