- 0:00You mentioned sex a couple times. Is
- 0:02that something people are asking you
- 0:03about? Is that something that on
- 0:04people's minds? And is there anything
- 0:06you can tell people about that?
- 0:10>> Well, your body is your meat operating
- 0:13system is terribly worried that the
- 0:16species will end
- 0:18because it's not a very smart body. It's
- 0:21just very fast. and it knows that if
- 0:24there is not love and sex in your life
- 0:27as an adult that something is deeply and
- 0:29profoundly wrong.
- 0:32We usually look at sex as something kind
- 0:34of embarrassing or or shameful but also
- 0:37as something fun. So it's kind of like
- 0:39sticky and attractive at the same time
- 0:42and there's this inherent tension in it.
- 0:45And that tension comes from the fact
- 0:47that our our conscious mind doesn't like
- 0:49it that our body wants to do certain
- 0:50things. and our body doesn't like it
- 0:52that our mind tries to stop us. So
- 0:53there's always an inherent tension.
- 0:57The correct way to look at sex is that
- 0:59it is a nourishing act that feeds your
- 1:02body. It regulates your nervous system
- 1:05and it's actually a spiritual thing you
- 1:07do. And when you look at it that way,
- 1:09you drop a lot of the shame and guilt
- 1:11and you realize, okay, can you have more
- 1:14desire? Can you be better at sex? not
- 1:18better as, you know, lasting longer or
- 1:20whatever, uh, but better at at making a
- 1:22connection, right, and and fully doing
- 1:25what's possible there. 20% of people
- 1:28report that they meet God in the bedroom
- 1:32during orgasm,
- 1:33but to their partner, it just looks like
- 1:35they're flopping around for a little
- 1:37while. Like, this is a deeply intimate
- 1:38spiritual act that we're doing when you
- 1:40do it right. So, what I talk about in
- 1:43smarter not harder, maybe that's the
- 1:46wrong title for this topic, [laughter]
- 1:48but what uh what I'm talking about there
- 1:51is what are the things that cause it to
- 1:54work better mechanically and then what
- 1:56are the things you can do that calm you
- 1:58down so that you can go into to an act
- 2:00like that and regulate your own
- 2:02operating system and that of the person
- 2:04you're with. Uh and it it's something
- 2:06that people are talking about in the
- 2:08world of biohacking by choice. At the
- 2:10last biohacking conference, by the way,
- 2:12the next one is in June um of 2022
- 2:16in Orlando. And at the last one, I had
- 2:19the creator of the erotic blueprint on
- 2:21stage for a big interview in front of a
- 2:23few thousand people. We've all heard of
- 2:25love languages by now, but would you
- 2:28imagine that there's something called an
- 2:31erotic blueprint where it's the same
- 2:33kind of thing, but instead of, you know,
- 2:34I I do well with hugs, which is one of
- 2:36the love languages, physical touch, you
- 2:39are going to do to your partner what you
- 2:41like done to you, and there's five big
- 2:43types of things that your partner may
- 2:46like that you don't know they like,
- 2:47right? So, it's it's pretty interesting
- 2:49how that works. And I um um I'm I'm
- 2:52introducing these kinds of things into
- 2:54the world of biohacking because humans
- 2:56without sex and love uh were lessened
- 2:59and I think it's important.
- 3:01>> I'm really glad you did. I had a guest
- 3:03on about eight years ago uh well seven
- 3:05eight years ago who made me super
- 3:06uncomfortable in my studio. His name is
- 3:08Master Mentac Chia. Um and he
- 3:11>> I've interviewed him too. You have menac
- 3:14chia at the time like I just didn't know
- 3:16what to do with him. Dave, again, if you
- 3:18grow up in the West, you have this weird
- 3:20relationship with sex, right? Because
- 3:21like you said, it's it's dirty, but it
- 3:23also is stimulating and the church tells
- 3:26you it's bad, but then we have to do it.
- 3:28And again, the Puritans left this
- 3:31country and went to America. And so,
- 3:33it's messed up. And so, here's Manacia
- 3:35coming in, and he's in front of me in
- 3:37the leather chair, and he's like,
- 3:37"Brian, you have to sharpen the sword."
- 3:39And I was like, "What?" And he's like,
- 3:40"You got to do 50 times to the left and
- 3:42get the baby oil on the penis." And I'm
- 3:45just like, what are you talking about?
- 3:47Um, and I've had him on many, many
- 3:49times. He actually has our most watched
- 3:50video on YouTube with like 8 million
- 3:52views of him talking about male sexual
- 3:55health and female sexual health. But
- 3:57ahead of his time, made me really
- 3:58uncomfortable. I've had him on about
- 4:00seven or eight times. He's been to our
- 4:01live events. And um, now I realize he's
- 4:05OG, super smart, and it's so important,
- 4:09Dave. It's just so important what he
- 4:10talks about.
- 4:11>> It is really important. And in the early
- 4:14days of of creating biohacking, um I
- 4:17I've followed his work and and that of
- 4:19others. And there's an equation that the
- 4:23the Dowists would talk about for men and
- 4:26it's how frequently should you ejaculate
- 4:29if you want to be healthy. And I thought
- 4:31this is the biggest load of crap I've
- 4:33ever seen. I'm going to disprove it. So,
- 4:35for a whole year, I tracked ejaculation,
- 4:38orgasm, sex frequency, all that stuff
- 4:41against daily happiness. And I was I'd
- 4:44really tried to disprove it. And they
- 4:46said, "If you want to live forever, just
- 4:47ejaculate once every 30 days. That
- 4:50sounds impossible. I learned how to do
- 4:51it." And it was actually life-changing.
- 4:53So, um, I found out that they were
- 4:56correct. And I published all the data, I
- 4:58think, in Game Changers. But there is an
- 5:01ejaculation hangover for men. your
- 5:03testosterone drops substantially after
- 5:05you ejaculate. And to this day, it's I
- 5:08that's not something I do very often. I
- 5:10I get to have as much sex as I want and
- 5:12I ejaculate occasionally, but you can
- 5:14have orgasms without ejaculating. And
- 5:15that's just part of practice. Someone
- 5:17has to talk about it because if
- 5:20everyone's depleting their testosterone
- 5:22in a world full of testosterone
- 5:23depleting pollutants,
- 5:26we're lessening ourselves. We're
- 5:27diminishing our species that way. And
- 5:29there are practices you can do like
- 5:31montak chia. I got I I also felt a
- 5:34little uncomfortable. I did a live event
- 5:36with him in Oman in the Middle East. And
- 5:39he goes, "Okay, women leave." And they
- 5:40had a female teacher for them. And then
- 5:42there's a bunch of, you know, very
- 5:44wealthy guys. He goes, "Okay, everyone
- 5:46stand like this, grab penis." And you're
- 5:48like, "What?" With clothes on. He's
- 5:49like, "Now, you know, stretch." And and
- 5:52okay, I I'll try anything once. But I
- 5:54just watched looked around in the room.
- 5:56There were guys who were just about to
- 5:57lose their minds. But it turns out when
- 6:00I did these exercises years ago, I went
- 6:0230 days with no stimulation whatsoever.
- 6:06And there was substantial shrinkage as a
- 6:09result. And like, oh my god, this is a
- 6:12disaster. So I went out and I found
- 6:16probably something similar to what
- 6:17Montchia teaches uh in one of the books
- 6:19I have in my library. And for another 30
- 6:22days, I did exercises that restored uh
- 6:25the the volume and all the other
- 6:27measurements that you would want. And
- 6:29since that time, and I' I'm very open
- 6:30about this stuff without being runchy or
- 6:32anything. Um I've had stem cells
- 6:34injected. I've done other technologies I
- 6:35write about in my books. Uh and you can
- 6:38actually change the shape and size at
- 6:40will. Uh including like enhancements are
- 6:43possible. So, I'm going to be doing a
- 6:45lot of content this year on the
- 6:47technologies of biohacking that there's
- 6:50an equivalent for women as well. And
- 6:52I've been with women uh without
- 6:54disclosing anything um because I'm
- 6:56single. I just I don't want to say
- 6:58anything about any one person or not,
- 7:00but I've been with people who have had
- 7:03stem cells injected vaginally and like
- 7:06it a week later it there's just so much
- 7:09happy. I'm like, "Oh, look, my toes curl
- 7:11again." So, as we age or even if we're
- 7:13young, all these variables are in your
- 7:15control, they always were, but no one
- 7:18would tell you. And that's what
- 7:19biohacking about. Hey, how do you get a
- 7:21signal in to make yourself sexually
- 7:25maybe happier or to make yourself not
- 7:28hungry all the time or to make yourself
- 7:30look the way you want or to have the
- 7:32brain energy you want. Or maybe it's
- 7:35just to be able to [sighs and gasps]
- 7:37look at someone in the eye and just be
- 7:39calm instead of losing and just being
- 7:41being anxious. And that's why the last
- 7:43couple of chapters in Smarter Not
- 7:45Harder, they're about meditation and
- 7:47spiritual I'm going to call it hacking
- 7:50because Brent, I don't think you or I
- 7:52have time to go spend two months every
- 7:54year sitting in a cave meditating,
- 7:57right? It it might be kind of
- 7:59interesting to do that, but we would
- 8:01have to give up something else to do
- 8:03that. So I just go through all right
- 8:04what are the technologies and techniques
- 8:06that work better than sitting and just
- 8:08emptying your mind which is it's
- 8:10valuable to meditate. So we can do that
- 8:14as well and I go through a a set of
- 8:16technologies like just breath work plus
- 8:20meditation works better per minute. It
- 8:22it just does. Or maybe chanting. And
- 8:25then from there, there's technologies. I
- 8:27have a whole 40 years of Zen company
- 8:29where people come and spend five days
- 8:30with my team of neuroscientists tuning
- 8:32and tweaking their brains, which is also
- 8:34meditation, but on steroids kind of. Um,
- 8:37so you can go from the very high-end
- 8:39neuro feedback to all these different
- 8:40technologies that change how your brain
- 8:42works within your conscious control. And
- 8:45from there, you get to the spiritual
- 8:46side where, okay, my brain works, my
- 8:48body works, but I'm still easy to
- 8:51trigger.
- 8:52And if you are easy to trigger, it's
- 8:54because you are a loaded gun. And when
- 8:57you learn how to do the spiritual stuff,
- 8:59you take the bullets out of your gun and
- 9:00you cannot be triggered anymore. And
- 9:03that is the ultimate end of of the the
- 9:07road for biohacking where when you're
- 9:09done, everything works. [snorts] You're
- 9:11fully aware of the world around you. You
- 9:13choose your state and you keep that
- 9:15state as long as you want. And in
- 9:17Buddhism, that's the highest state and
- 9:19they call that equinimity. This is the
- 9:22monk in the middle of a hurricane
- 9:23saying, "I'm going to meditate." That's
- 9:25really hard to do. And underneath that,
- 9:27and not as good as compassion, which is
- 9:29hard to do, and compassion is
- 9:31automatically wishing well for everyone
- 9:33around you, even if they're jerks. And
- 9:36then underneath that, the lowest state,
- 9:39that's still a good state, is empathy. I
- 9:41can feel other people's pain. Doesn't
- 9:43mean you automatically wish them well,
- 9:45right? So, the path of evolution is
- 9:47let's get our bodies working. Let's get
- 9:49our bodies less reactive. Let's let's
- 9:51get it so our energy is back. Let's work
- 9:54on making sure that there's an
- 9:56appropriate amount of healthy love in
- 9:58our life. And let's do the calming
- 10:01practices where our brain can work
- 10:02better. And then let's move into these
- 10:04advanced states, but let's not spend
- 10:06lifetimes doing it. Let's do it as
- 10:08rapidly as we can with the tools
- 10:11available now. So that if you spend one
- 10:12minute exercising or meditating, it was
- 10:15the minute that brought you so much good
- 10:18that you were willing to do another
- 10:19minute because it was the best possible
- 10:21use of your life. So Jim Rickards has
- 10:24just recorded [music] a video that's not
- 10:26available to anyone in the public. And
- 10:28he's going to be talking about how this
- 10:30[music] upcoming recession is going to
- 10:31be fast. It's going to be bloody. It's
- 10:34going to be nasty. But at the same time,
- 10:36he's going to show you how you can
- 10:37[music] position yourself to profit from
- 10:40all of this chaos. Now, we've made this
- 10:43video only available to [music] our
- 10:44viewers. Go to londrill.tv/jim.
- 10:47Watch that immediately. I can't say
- 10:50enough good things about Jim Richards.
- 10:52[music] He understands the global
- 10:54economic system better than any guest
- 10:56I've ever had on London Real. His
- 10:58predictions [music] are almost uncannily
- 11:00true and you can learn how to profit
- 11:02from his vision, from his expertise,
- 11:04[music] and his understanding of
- 11:06economics. So go to londonville.tv/jim
- 11:08or click the link below. It's an
- 11:10excellent, [music] excellent look on
- 11:12what's going to happen in the future and
- 11:14how you can position yourself to profit
- 11:16from [music] that. Jim is one of the
- 11:18best in the business. One of my favorite
- 11:20guests on London Real and he's very,
- 11:22very good at predicting the future and
- 11:24showing us all to profit from it. So,
- 11:26click the link and I hope you enjoy.
- 11:29>> Hey, do you want to profit from crypto?
- 11:31Then join my DeFi Academy. The Crypto
- 11:33DeFi Academy will help you create
- 11:35generational wealth. But don't take my
- 11:37word [music] for it. Listen to my
- 11:39students.
- 11:39>> When I first got into crypto, I remember
- 11:41thinking to myself, I need to learn
- 11:43more.
- 11:45Brian Rose, learning crypto, learning
- 11:47DeFi. Got to do it.
- 11:49>> I am so grateful that I jumped in and
- 11:51did this. I had to break through some
- 11:53limiting beliefs that I can do this,
- 11:56that I can afford this, that I can be in
- 11:58this.
- 11:58>> It challenges um the things that are
- 12:00deeply rooted within us.
- 12:02>> Joining Defi Academy has been one of the
- 12:05best decisions I have made on my
- 12:07blockchain journey.
- 12:08>> This course was a lifecher, [music] a
- 12:10game changer, a huge eye openener.
- 12:12Coming from knowing practically nothing
- 12:15at the speed of the learning over the
- 12:16over four weeks was just fantastic. The
- 12:19information you provided in this class
- 12:22was invaluable. [music]
- 12:24>> I feel far more confident in my next
- 12:26steps.
- 12:27>> You took complex concepts and made them
- 12:30easier to understand.
- 12:32>> What's different than so many other ones
- 12:34is it just doesn't [music] tell you what
- 12:35to do. It actually makes you do it.
- 12:38>> This is for people who are serious about
- 12:40becoming traders. This is the way it
- 12:42should be done. I realized from this
- 12:45learning experience again that it is not
- 12:49about what you learn but about who you
- 12:51learn it from.
- 12:52>> The energy was insane. I' I've never
- 12:54experienced such incredible energy on a
- 12:56live call. Brian Rose, you you are a
- 12:58legend, my friend.
- 12:59>> It's the only thing in the market where
- 13:04you can get all information and learn
- 13:06everything what you need to know.
- 13:08Everything is so clear and so well done
- 13:11and I'm um just forever grateful for
- 13:13this program.
- 13:14>> It made me feel so much more confident
- 13:17about crypto than I did before.
- 13:20>> I did not anticipate how [music]
- 13:21passionate I was going to become about
- 13:22it.
- 13:22>> That's been like a big learning
- 13:24experience for me, not just in the
- 13:26crypto space, but just an overall uh
- 13:30balance of life. What I've learned is,
- 13:33you know, how to take ownership, you
- 13:34know, of my life in a way that um I
- 13:38really I really hadn't before. Yeah. You
- 13:41can't put a price on that really.
- 13:42>> I would recommend it to anybody. Top
- 13:45notch. [music]
- 13:45>> Excellence does not come cheap, you
- 13:47know. So, if you want excellence, you
- 13:49got to pay for it. But it's so worth it.
- 13:51>> Pull the trigger. That's what this
- 13:53course is about.
- 13:54>> You're not going to regret it. Really,
- 13:55it's amazing.
- 13:57>> Thank you, Brian and team.
- 13:58>> So, what are you waiting for? Crypto is
- 14:00happening now. Click the link below,
