Easy Reveals the AI Sleeper Stock Nobody Saw Coming — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Yo, let's go.
- 0:03Brother, how are you?
- 0:04>> I'm good, bro. I'm good. I cannot
- 0:06complain. Life is good, man. The The AI
- 0:07trades have been They've been fun, man.
- 0:09They've been fruitful.
- 0:10>> Bro, I've been I've been seeing you
- 0:12crush it, bro. I feel like you've been
- 0:13pretty consistent.
- 0:15You've been consistent with the
- 0:16streaming. You've been sharing the
- 0:17trades on stream. You've been posting
- 0:18your updates and everything. Bro, how's
- 0:20that been? Like put me on, bro. What
- 0:22What am I missing?
- 0:22>> mean, the big thing for me like just
- 0:24like you, I was a very early Solana
- 0:26bull, right? Like you and me were so
- 0:28heavy early. You were obviously a little
- 0:29bit earlier. I got in in August of '21
- 0:32when the ETH NFT stuff was popping off.
- 0:34And I was like, dude, gas is crazy. I
- 0:36was like, this is nuts. Like I'm
- 0:38spending thousands of dollars to mint
- 0:39the picture. And Solana mint started and
- 0:41I was like, okay, this is a much better
- 0:42user experience.
- 0:43>> Yep.
- 0:43>> So then I was like, this just makes
- 0:44sense. Then STEPN happened. And I was
- 0:46like, oh [ __ ] okay. Like this is the
- 0:48user experience people are going to
- 0:49want. So I went like crazy hard on that,
- 0:52did really, really well. And I mean,
- 0:53I've been trading equity since I was
- 0:54like 16. I'm like a custodial account
- 0:56and like all this stuff. So like I've
- 0:57been reading 10-Ks and everything. Like
- 0:59I'm deep in the equity side. But I never
- 1:01really talked about it. And then now we
- 1:02have this like convergence of crypto and
- 1:05TradFi. And I'm like, okay, now I can
- 1:07have some fun.
- 1:08>> It's time.
- 1:08>> So like bro, this morning there was I'm
- 1:11really like interested in the Russell
- 1:122000 right now. So like low caps versus
- 1:15the mid and high caps on the equity
- 1:17market cuz the S&P's going crazy. But if
- 1:19you go down the risk curve, the
- 1:20Russell's outperformed the S&P year to
- 1:22date almost 2x. S&P's up 7%.
- 1:25>> Year to date? Really?
- 1:27>> up 15.
- 1:27>> Oh, [ __ ]
- 1:29>> And people overlooked that. So this
- 1:30morning I was like, yo, let me figure
- 1:31out which
- 1:33tickers have the most upside in the
- 1:35Russell that are like positive
- 1:37>> Uh-huh.
- 1:37>> with the revenue and are AI adjacent.
- 1:39And this morning me and the chat, I
- 1:42started a $1,000 account on equities
- 1:44that were just like running up with the
- 1:45chat. And I found this ticker called
- 1:47InnoData.
- 1:48So it's I N N O D A
- 1:50>> I N N O D A
- 1:51Okay.
- 1:52>> Bro, wait till you see what it's looking
- 1:53at after market. This [ __ ] is crazy.
- 1:55>> It's [laughter] up Oh, [ __ ]
- 1:57>> So we went all in on this this morning.
- 1:59>> Damn. Oh, you're up up. You're up fat.
- 2:03>> Like stupid up. They beat earnings by
- 2:05433%.
- 2:07But, I knew I was like wicked positive
- 2:09this thing would crush when I looked at
- 2:10the business model. Bro, so they label
- 2:12data. It's a data labeling company. So,
- 2:15when AI ingest data, it has to have
- 2:17labels on where to aggregate it so that
- 2:19when the model actually takes that data
- 2:21and knows where to like put it for the
- 2:22model. This company's a third party that
- 2:24just labels all that data. So, it's a
- 2:26data labeling company. I was like,
- 2:27"Okay, now
- 2:29>> Not to get this highly intelligent
- 2:30finance conversation up, but I heard you
- 2:32say wicked?
- 2:33>> Yeah, bro. Yeah.
- 2:34>> Are you from Boston?
- 2:35>> I lived there for 7 years.
- 2:36>> Wow.
- 2:37>> [laughter]
- 2:37>> Yeah. Bro, so I used to watch you and
- 2:39the guys when you guys had the house
- 2:41early, like dumb early. You and that
- 2:43whole crew.
- 2:43Like way way way back.
- 2:45>> Your demographic is exactly the the the
- 2:47people that show me the most love. It's
- 2:49uh
- 2:50It makes me feel incredibly old. Like
- 2:52that that this is the type of
- 2:53conversation where I'm like, "Wait, you
- 2:55are 40 years old. You are pushing 40."
- 2:56>> I mean, I
- 2:57>> [laughter]
- 2:58>> I turned 33 this year. So, like CT calls
- 3:00me young. They call me old.
- 3:02I'm still trading memes and still like
- 3:04in the trenches with some of these
- 3:05dudes. And listening to them, I'm like,
- 3:06"Okay, I You got You guys are much
- 3:08younger than me." Like
- 3:09>> Appreciate you coming on the show, bro.
- 3:11And I
- 3:12Something that really sparked sparked
- 3:14interest in what you guys were just
- 3:15talking about is how TradFi and crypto
- 3:17are kind of like the merge happening.
- 3:19It's all one becoming one thing, which I
- 3:22think is really really good for um
- 3:25not Oh, you guys putting his name tag
- 3:27in?
- 3:28The [ __ ] is production doing? Not.
- 3:30>> [laughter]
- 3:32>> That threw me off. But, um obviously I'm
- 3:34like attention media content brain
- 3:36[ __ ] FaZe Banks, FaZe the [ __ ] up,
- 3:38New York FaZe House, like whatever. I've
- 3:39been doing that my entire life. Um I
- 3:41feel like
- 3:42finance, especially like crypto, like
- 3:45internet capital markets, like deep
- 3:47whatever. I feel like the content
- 3:49vertical has been super [snorts]
- 3:50underwhelming, super lacking over the
- 3:52last couple cycles and and over the last
- 3:55the recent years and even today like we
- 3:57we have like thread guy doing his thing
- 3:59and [ __ ] Raz has a stream and they
- 4:01have like these little small niche
- 4:02audiences.
- 4:03>> Yeah.
- 4:03>> We we obviously see what TBPN does, but
- 4:05that's more like the traditional tech
- 4:07side of things. Um how do you feel about
- 4:09the show? Like I know obviously
- 4:11obviously us coming out with this show
- 4:14like
- 4:15you know there was [laughter] there was
- 4:15some picture of you
- 4:16>> bro, I think it's a good dynamic. Like I
- 4:19know that um I've seen a bunch of takes
- 4:20on CT about it and it's one of the other
- 4:23extreme. Some people are like I hate
- 4:25this and other people are like this
- 4:25makes sense. And I think the two of you
- 4:27guys have a such a unique dynamic cuz
- 4:30like I've gone back and forth with Ansem
- 4:31forever. Like literally for years at
- 4:33this point just like talking disease and
- 4:35like very publicly cuz
- 4:37me and him have done very similar things
- 4:39on the timeline where it's like just
- 4:40post your trade. Like and I know people
- 4:42get pissed when like you lose or don't
- 4:44have a good trade, but at the same time
- 4:46my thought is like if I'm not posting
- 4:47the trade someone else will. And like
- 4:49for me, I would rather air it out cuz
- 4:52when one person wins,
- 4:54it feels that much better and I know
- 4:55like when I lose, they lose too, but
- 4:58it's not like I'm not taking these
- 4:59trades. So like if I'm taking them, why
- 5:01not share it? And your guys' dynamic so
- 5:02interesting, especially listening to
- 5:03that whole conversation with Miz was
- 5:06talking the whole content side of things
- 5:07was really interesting to then see him
- 5:09getting into the finance side. I saw his
- 5:11video obviously and I was like okay,
- 5:13this is all slowly clicking because my
- 5:15bet on everything and it's actually like
- 5:17the whole court thesis why I'm long
- 5:18Robinhood, which is wicked funny,
- 5:20>> Mhm.
- 5:20>> is more people are going to spend time
- 5:21online and more people are going to
- 5:23navigate to the things that kind of do
- 5:25everything in one place, right? Like
- 5:27streaming makes sense. I think modern
- 5:28day media is going to move to the
- 5:29internet. I think shows like this people
- 5:31are going to tune in. I like that it's
- 5:32only once a week cuz it's way easier for
- 5:34people to tune in once a week and commit
- 5:36however long for that once a week versus
- 5:38every day for multiple hours, which is
- 5:40where you see more of the clips. But
- 5:41then I also think like more people are
- 5:43going to spend more time online and the
- 5:44younger generation coming up is going to
- 5:46find more of their information online.
- 5:48So like long-winded answer, I like the
- 5:49idea you guys have for this and I'm
- 5:51excited to continue to see it grow and
- 5:52you guys are both so well connected that
- 5:54you're going to have awesome guests on.
- 5:56So it's like
- 5:57it just makes sense. And you guys are
- 5:59both just educating. Like watching both
- 6:00of you learn about different topics
- 6:02helps the audience cuz Z is going to
- 6:04pull an audience of people from CT,
- 6:07you're going to pull an audience from
- 6:07the creator side and everything else and
- 6:10just people who know you from the
- 6:11content that it's going to kind of blend
- 6:13these two worlds that I think just make
- 6:14the most sense.
- 6:15>> It's cool that that's what you've
- 6:16gathered and gotten cuz that's exactly
- 6:18what we're going for. That's exactly
- 6:19[laughter] what we're trying to
- 6:20accomplish with this. That's exactly why
- 6:22I think him and I make
- 6:23perfect sense as far as just like being
- 6:25the host of the show.
- 6:26>> Oh, it's great.
- 6:27>> a perfect match in my opinion. I think
- 6:29you guys are doing the right thing here
- 6:30and I'm excited just to see some of the
- 6:31tickers cuz I I also heard you guys
- 6:32mention Eyen.
- 6:33>> Uh
- 6:34>> Yeah.
- 6:34>> Was I think Z mentioned it?
- 6:35>> Yeah, last week.
- 6:36>> on TG stream last week and I mentioned
- 6:39PWR Quanta Services.
- 6:41>> Uh-huh.
- 6:41>> Similar play.
- 6:42>> Yeah, yeah.
- 6:42>> Um and that thing went crazy. But the
- 6:44whole it's like when I look at the AI
- 6:45stuff, I'm like going layers deeper
- 6:47where like I'd rather just bet on the
- 6:48data center than which AI model's going
- 6:50to win because they need the data center
- 6:52more than anything else.
- 6:53>> Mhm.
- 6:53>> And then like when you really get down
- 6:54to it, dude, you could like just buy
- 6:56copper and uranium.
- 6:57>> I know. I saw They're like breaking out
- 6:59right now, both of them.
- 7:00>> Yeah.
- 7:00>> Uranium's going to go crazy.
- 7:02>> Yeah,
- 7:02>> [laughter]
- 7:02>> in my opinion.
- 7:03>> Bro, Microsoft's rebuilding Three Mile
- 7:05Island.
- 7:06>> Yeah, I know.
- 7:07>> cleaning it up. So like when you start
- 7:08to get really down into the granular
- 7:10level of this stuff, I'm like, oh yeah,
- 7:12you could literally bet on copper for
- 7:13the wires that are needed for data
- 7:15centers and uranium to power it and you
- 7:16don't have to care about anything else
- 7:18outside of that. So that to me is just
- 7:20like you could get so granular with this
- 7:22trade and there's so many levels that
- 7:24haven't broken out where like this data
- 7:26labeling play, it's 1.4 billion. You
- 7:28mentioned WIF. WIF traded at 2X the
- 7:30market cap of this this public company.
- 7:32>> [laughter]
- 7:33>> Bro, it's crazy.
- 7:35Bro, I didn't realize like how low a lot
- 7:37of these stocks are, bro. I honestly
- 7:38didn't. I had no idea. It's like if you
- 7:40go really deep in research and it's
- 7:41companies that have been around for like
- 7:43years, like years and years and years.
- 7:45>> Like this company has been around 10
- 7:46plus years and I'm like, why is it
- 7:48trading at 1.4 billion and AI needs
- 7:50this? Like what are we talking about
- 7:51here?
- 7:52>> I was going to I was going to ask you
- 7:53what the market cap of that [ __ ] was.
- 7:55That's insane.
- 7:56>> 1.45. I mean now it's probably like 1.7
- 7:57because it's up 25% after hours.
- 8:00>> What company is this? It's Inno Inno
- 8:02data, right?
- 8:03>> Yeah, Inno data, I N O D. It's like
- 8:06dude, I I found it this morning and I
- 8:07had never even looked into it before. I
- 8:09stream in the mornings like pre-market
- 8:10open and we like live trade with the
- 8:13audience because I do a $1,000 hyper
- 8:15liquid portfolio, $1,000 equity
- 8:17portfolio to just like make it relatable
- 8:19like sizing wise cuz
- 8:20there's a lot of people don't have the
- 8:21capital
- 8:22that like a lot of people who make
- 8:23content and I'm like all right, let's
- 8:24make this like wicked relatable where
- 8:26you can buy a call option for 150 bucks,
- 8:29right? So I'm like, we buy calls. I'm
- 8:32like this feels severely undervalued.
- 8:34They have earnings and bro, the earnings
- 8:36chart it beat by 433%
- 8:39and their guidance [laughter] is like,
- 8:39yeah, we're going to do 200% revenue
- 8:41this year.
- 8:42>> You have a pretty good understanding of
- 8:44like content and stuff. Are you like
- 8:45aiming to do that? Have you been doing
- 8:47more and more content?
- 8:48>> Yeah, so I'm streaming 5 days a week in
- 8:49the morning at 9:00 a.m.
- 8:51>> Sick, I was unaware. That's cool. That's
- 8:53awesome.
- 8:53>> So and that's the thing like I mean I've
- 8:54been I make YouTube videos and all this
- 8:55other stuff. It's much smaller. I'm like
- 8:57way bigger on X, but I blew up on X
- 8:59because I just was so public with trades
- 9:01cuz when I got into this dude
- 9:03I hated the capital
- 9:03>> I did too. Like all the all the NFT
- 9:05stuff, all my earliest stuff I just
- 9:06posted what I bought. Like and I I would
- 9:08post when I sold. Then it was
- 9:10>> Yeah, that's a big thing. And I took it
- 9:11even one step further where I posted my
- 9:12exit targets on NFTs.
- 9:14>> Yeah, I'm buying but I I try to do it
- 9:16with MLG. I I I posted I'm going to
- 9:18start trimming profits at 100 mil and I
- 9:20didn't. I top blasted instead and still
- 9:22I'm in the [ __ ]
- 9:24>> You and me went band for band on MLG.
- 9:26I'm
- 9:26>> Oh, did we?
- 9:27>> Yeah, [laughter] we both
- 9:28had 10K.
- 9:29>> I'm familiar with your name by the way.
- 9:30Like I've obviously seen you on CT.
- 9:32We've gone back and forth like I
- 9:34I I I recognize you for sure. Um, know
- 9:37you were as deep into the content stuff,
- 9:38but um, then you were there. You saw how
- 9:40it started. Like the MLG stuff. Bro, I
- 9:42[ __ ] bought that off the timeline at
- 9:443 mil. And then I'm like, wait a second.
- 9:47My thesis starts to build. FaZe Banks
- 9:49just bought MLG. So, now this is like
- 9:51the gamer culture coin. This is when all
- 9:53the culture coin [ __ ] shit's going
- 9:55crazy. There's [ __ ] 10 different
- 9:57coins with multi-billion-dollar market
- 9:59caps. I got [ __ ] Kenny the quant in
- 10:01the next room like, this is the easiest
- 10:02[ __ ] 20x in crypto.
- 10:04>> [laughter]
- 10:06>> I start buying it and [ __ ] it's fun
- 10:09for me because it's like it's so hits so
- 10:10close to home, whatever. And then
- 10:12obviously, you know, Trump does his
- 10:13thing. Milani does his thing. I go on a
- 10:15[ __ ] Raw stream and now it's like
- 10:17>> crazy.
- 10:18>> Yeah, it's crazy.
- 10:19>> bro. Like I'm I'm ready for it, too, cuz
- 10:20I'm going to post bad trades that people
- 10:21take and get pissed. But it's at the
- 10:23same time, like my response is always,
- 10:25well, you're not posting your trades.
- 10:26>> But it's also [ __ ] stupid. Bro,
- 10:28nobody's doing it, bro. Like literally,
- 10:30nobody's doing it. Nobody's doing
- 10:32>> It was a great trade. It was an
- 10:33objectively a good trade. Buy this at $3
- 10:35million at random.
- 10:37Run to $200 million. I mean
- 10:39I made people rich with this call. I
- 10:40made people rich talking about this. You
- 10:42know what I'm saying? And I'm [ __ ] I
- 10:44don't know. It's it's crazy. It's crazy.
- 10:46>> It's just part of the game, though, bro.
- 10:47>> Yeah, I know. I know.
- 10:48>> For sure.
- 10:49>> And it's why like even when people were
- 10:50trying to fud Ansem for the $1.50 thing,
- 10:52I found the thread and just quoted it
- 10:53and was like, all right, chat. He uh he
- 10:55did in fact buy. [laughter] Like just
- 10:56had the receipt. I was like, it's
- 10:58literally right here. Like I don't know
- 10:59why we're going crazy over this. He he
- 11:01bought it.
- 11:02>> It's like it loops all the way back to
- 11:03the point and purpose of the show is
- 11:04just worry about yourself, invest in
- 11:06yourself. You got to almost got to put
- 11:07the blinders on cuz it's like something
- 11:09as silly as the Ansem thing. Like the
- 11:10the you're lying and larping about
- 11:12buying a $1.50. There's clear evidence
- 11:14on Twitter. You don't You're two clicks
- 11:16away from finding it, and you're not
- 11:18bothering to get there because it's more
- 11:20fun for you or more favorable to farm
- 11:22the the the way that people do. You
- 11:24know, it's it's It's like
- 11:25>> People care more about impressions than
- 11:27their own bankroll, which is just a
- 11:28crazy thesis.
- 11:29>> 100%.
- 11:29>> so true, though.
- 11:30>> You care more about a couple of Elon
- 11:31bucks than actually making your money go
- 11:33up. Like there's so much good
- 11:47That's why understanding attention
- 11:48outlet
- 11:59But even just understanding the way that
- 12:00it works, the way that attention is
- 12:02traded, the way that attention is
- 12:03accumulated, and how it's like passed
- 12:05around is like super super important. Um
- 12:07and it obviously relates heavily back to
- 12:09finance. I think it's just as important
- 12:11if not more important. And over the next
- 12:125 to 10 years
- 12:17Crush it.
- 12:29Mhm.
- 12:45Especially if you're coming from CT cuz
- 12:46you're so used to things happening so
- 12:48quickly and like a tweet could [ __ ]
- 12:50you know, 2X and [ __ ] Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 12:52yeah.
- 13:00Yeah.
- 13:18It's It's It's crazy, bro. It's fire.
- 13:25thing and I was like, oh, this dude gets
- 13:26it.
- 13:27>> Everybody watching right now, that's
- 13:28your homework from now until the next
- 13:30episode. Everyone go read that. Go read
- 13:32situational awareness.
- 13:33>> What do you What do you think on like
- 13:34the AI versus crypto conversation that
- 13:37that we've been having back and forth
- 13:38cuz like I I I mean I pretty apparently
- 13:40see that like there's so many
- 13:42opportunities right now with like the AI
- 13:44stocks in different parts of the stack.
- 13:46Um but I I still obviously still love
- 13:49crypto, still spend time on crypto. How
- 13:50do you like splitting your time between
- 13:52both or like what's your your thoughts
- 13:53on that?
- 13:54>> I mean bro, so with Hyperliquid you're
- 13:55kind of always watching crypto, right?
- 13:58Like I caught the Telegram trade. I was
- 14:00really happy about that because Pavel
- 14:01Durov was like, we're going to make this
- 14:03the official Telegram coin and I'm like
- 14:05>> Yep.
- 14:06>> it's the one of the most used apps in
- 14:07the world. This is going to go up. But
- 14:09then it like it still makes me go into
- 14:10the layers. I'm like, okay, well they
- 14:11have inflation and unlocks happening all
- 14:13summer. It's not going to go back to
- 14:14all-time high, but it'll probably go 50%
- 14:16of that, right?
- 14:17>> Yeah.
- 14:17>> So there's still pockets that I look at.
- 14:19The Zcash trade, I'm like
- 14:21very tough to figure out because I'm
- 14:23like, yeah, I get the quantum and it's
- 14:24quantum proof, it's privacy. And I've
- 14:27made some money on it, but I have never
- 14:28held it long enough.
- 14:29>> Yeah.
- 14:30>> Uh but with like Hip 3 I'm like, oh, I
- 14:31can trade earnings on a crypto product.
- 14:35I should also just buy hype with every
- 14:37profit I make
- 14:37>> Yeah.
- 14:38>> [laughter]
- 14:38>> Like bro, have to.
- 14:39>> Like I'm using this product and I don't
- 14:41have to buy calls and I don't get
- 14:42crushed by the Greeks. And for those
- 14:43that are unfamiliar with the Greeks,
- 14:44it's the math that goes into options.
- 14:47>> I feel like that's almost tried and true
- 14:48and again this is like my normie brain,
- 14:50but like you just buy what you use. You
- 14:52buy what you like.
- 14:52>> 100%.
- 14:53>> Yeah. Yeah.
- 14:54>> I use Telegram every day, why would I
- 14:56not buy Ton? I use Hyperliquid every
- 14:58day, why would I not buy Hype? And I'm
- 14:59like, okay, yeah, those are pretty
- 15:00straightforward trades to me. And then
- 15:02like you can obviously go I've never
- 15:03even heard of Inno data until today and
- 15:05it just worked out.
- 15:06>> How did you find that?
- 15:08>> Bro, so I literally [laughter] was doing
- 15:09like research last night on the Russell
- 15:112000 and profitable AI companies that
- 15:13make up the Russell 2000. For those
- 15:15unfamiliar with Russell 2000, it's the
- 15:16low cap index, similar to the S&P but
- 15:19low caps. So it's like lower market
- 15:21caps, it's not Google, Amazon, etc. It's
- 15:23like very low caps. And I think the
- 15:25number's like 70% of the companies in
- 15:27the Russell 2000 basically go bankrupt
- 15:28every year, and they just backfill it.
- 15:30>> [laughter]
- 15:30>> So, it's like it's crazy. But, the ones
- 15:32that make it out send, like send hard.
- 15:35Oh, okay. So, I was going down and I was
- 15:38actually using AI to do a bunch of the
- 15:39research on it cuz it'll research faster
- 15:41and find better context for me, and it
- 15:43sourced this. And it was like they do
- 15:44data labeling, and last quarter they
- 15:46said that they were signing major
- 15:47contracts in Q4 for next year. So, I was
- 15:50like, "Okay, if they do have major
- 15:51contracts, this thing should absolutely
- 15:54pump."
- 15:54>> Real.
- 15:55>> And sure enough,
- 15:56it
- 15:56>> That's legendary, bro.
- 15:58>> I thought it would go up like 50, it
- 16:00tapped 60, and I'm like, "Okay, yeah,
- 16:02these 50s these 50 calls I have are it's
- 16:04going to be nuts." And already people
- 16:06were hitting me up like, "Dude, great
- 16:07call. You're the [ __ ] man. Like, we
- 16:09appreciate you." And I'm like, "Yeah,
- 16:11just this one just worked out." But,
- 16:12like there's a bunch of other stuff that
- 16:14we've done really, really well on in the
- 16:15AI stuff, like Ion was one I've been
- 16:17really long on, and they just signed a
- 16:18deal for a uh letter of intent from
- 16:20Nvidia to buy shares at $70 for 2.2
- 16:23billion worth of shares.
- 16:24>> Yep.
- 16:24>> So, I'm like, "Okay, this makes sense."
- 16:25Like, data center play, infra play, it's
- 16:28similar to Bloom Energy, but just
- 16:29adjacent to it. So, I'm like, "Okay,
- 16:31>> Even hearing you talk about this right
- 16:33now and and and Z, oftentimes when you
- 16:35start getting into like your thesis
- 16:36around [ __ ] and your thoughts on
- 16:37markets, it's very, very clear that you
- 16:39guys spend a lot of [ __ ] time doing
- 16:41this. You guys definitely know what
- 16:42you're talking about. For the average
- 16:43viewer at home, somebody who's closer to
- 16:45my side of the spectrum, somebody who
- 16:47has, you know, a [ __ ] full-time job
- 16:48or goes to school, or
- 16:50um can't spend eight hours a day on
- 16:52this, maybe they can spend 30 minutes to
- 16:53an hour a day, what do they do? Like
- 16:55like how do they how do they invest?
- 16:57>> It sounds like you buy ETFs, the basket
- 16:59[laughter] of it. So, there's one called
- 17:01DRAM, D R A M.
- 17:02>> The memory ETF.
- 17:04>> Memory ETF. And you're basically betting
- 17:06on Intel and these other memory
- 17:08producers, right? So, it's a bigger
- 17:10basket, but you don't have to do all
- 17:12this research on individual tickers.
- 17:14Look for ETFs on topics that are
- 17:15interesting. Like I found the DRIV
- 17:18probably 5 years ago when EV and
- 17:20electric vehicles are popping off and it
- 17:22was just a basket of electric vehicles.
- 17:23And I was like, oh, more people are
- 17:24going to drive electric vehicles over
- 17:26the next 10 years. Pretty
- 17:27straightforward bet where I can just bet
- 17:28on the industry versus tickers. So if
- 17:30you don't have a ton of time,
- 17:31>> How did that work out for you? How did
- 17:32that work out for you? How did that work
- 17:33out for you? How did that work out for
- 17:34you? How did that work
- 17:35>> Good. It did well. Yeah, it did it did
- 17:36very well. Went from like $16 to $40.
- 17:39And I was like, okay, yeah, this is
- 17:40great. But like your your returns are
- 17:42obviously capped, but size of return is
- 17:44indicative of how much time you can
- 17:46spend, right?
- 17:47So if you don't have a ton of time, you
- 17:48can find a ton of 2Xs, but I think
- 17:50they're going to come from these baskets
- 17:52where it's like you can bet on spaces
- 17:54and verticals.
- 17:55And just right now it's like, okay, I
- 17:57can find an AI ETF, I can find a memory
- 18:00ETF, I can find a mining ETF. And right
- 18:02there you have basically the big three
- 18:03for AI that can cover your bases and if
- 18:05AI keeps going parabolic, you're good.
- 18:08And when you look at memory and mining,
- 18:11if quantum becomes a huge trend in the
- 18:12next 10 years, those will also go up
- 18:14because of it. So it's like, yeah, you
- 18:15kind of have this this adjacent trade to
- 18:17the two.
- 18:18>> It's good advice. How how much are you
- 18:20using AI these days?
- 18:21>> I use it every day.
- 18:22>> Yeah, how with everything that you do?
- 18:24>> Everything. So like
- 18:26every morning I wake up, I have a prompt
- 18:29that sends it to me at like 7:30 of
- 18:31everything I missed overnight. Like it
- 18:32gives me a document to read.
- 18:34>> The core of the heartbeat, the
- 18:35heartbeat, yeah.
- 18:36>> Yeah, my heartbeat gives it to me. And
- 18:37then at 8:45 it gives me like a show
- 18:39prep document of the things to talk
- 18:41about that are relevant over the last 24
- 18:42hours. So it's like a producer
- 18:44basically.
- 18:45>> Sounds like you are quickly getting much
- 18:46much better at this. It sounds like
- 18:47you're very very good at it. Yeah, I'm
- 18:49just I'm just curious how how much you
- 18:51would attribute that to like your
- 18:53relationship with AI and that tool that
- 18:55you use. Yeah, yeah, yeah. See? Chat.
- 18:57>> Like the more AI you use, the faster you
- 18:59can find stuff. The the Innovator Trade
- 19:01was sourced by AI. Like 100% sourced by
- 19:04AI.
- 19:04>> Yeah. [clears throat]
- 19:05>> And it just made me and I just started
- 19:06asking AI questions or ask the AI
- 19:08questions about it. And it you don't
- 19:09have to do a lot of the leg work to get
- 19:11the information.
- 19:12Like dude, I don't use Google anymore. I
- 19:13have I have Google Assistant on my
- 19:15phone.
- 19:15>> [laughter]
- 19:15>> Like I just ask that the question.
- 19:17There's not 60 ads and there's not a
- 19:19bunch of [ __ ] that's forced
- 19:20>> you're obviously a natural first adopter
- 19:22of tech like this, a tool like this cuz
- 19:24you're in finance, you're in crypto,
- 19:25you're chronically online, this, that.
- 19:27But like everybody at home should be
- 19:30kind of working in the same working
- 19:32along the same lines, whether you
- 19:33[ __ ] own a gym or you're a student or
- 19:36whatever. Like Yeah, hours and hours and
- 19:38hours on that. That's interesting. Um
- 19:42[ __ ] man.
- 19:43>> Yeah, even for even for people who like
- 19:44have no idea, like if if you started
- 19:47from zero with the AI trade, if you have
- 19:49ChatGPT or Claude, you can like get
- 19:51there in a relatively fast amount of
- 19:53time on understanding everything. Like
- 19:55you were saying Banksy said like, what
- 19:56would you do if you don't have 8 hours a
- 19:58day? Even if you have like an hour after
- 20:00work, like a couple hours on the
- 20:02weekend, it's like if you know
- 20:04>> minutes on the toilet at your job. Ask
- 20:06>> [laughter]
- 20:06>> it a question. Like it'll answer before
- 20:09you're done, I promise you.
- 20:10>> Yeah. And like what I what I've been
- 20:12doing I think that's been helping a lot
- 20:13is like you can actually ask it how to
- 20:15ask better questions, which is a crazy
- 20:17recursive loop that's going on. But like
- 20:19if you don't know exactly what questions
- 20:21to ask about a certain topic or a
- 20:22certain field, you can be
- 20:24[clears throat] like, okay, what's a
- 20:25good prompt for this? Or like how what
- 20:27do I I want to know more about this. I
- 20:29know this. Give me some like give me a a
- 20:31better question to ask an LLM that I
- 20:34should post. And it literally will give
- 20:36you something to ask and then you can
- 20:37use that and it'll give you more
- 20:38information. And then on that
- 20:39information you can be like, I want to
- 20:41get more information on this specific
- 20:43part. Like you can just keep recursively
- 20:44asking it questions. Um and if you're
- 20:47really curious and interested in like
- 20:48what you're trying to learn, you will
- 20:49figure it out pretty quickly. I think
- 20:51it's it's pretty crazy. Um how fast it
- 20:53accelerates.
- 20:54>> What are you using, Easy? What's your
- 20:55stack? Like what what
- 20:56>> Uh so I'm between Claude and ChatGPT.
- 20:59Like I use open Claude, but I have it
- 21:01fall back to ChatGPT.
- 21:04>> Yeah, I use Claude as well. Same exact I
- 21:05think it's the best setup. Yeah, it's
- 21:07the best.
- 21:08>> And it goes I I kind of go back and
- 21:09forth on the two because they're both
- 21:10competing for the better model and
- 21:12that's only going to keep happening. I
- 21:13saw the Elon news where they're like
- 21:15he's basically partnering with Anthropic
- 21:17and it's so clear he's partnering with
- 21:18Anthropic to kill Open AI.
- 21:20>> right? [laughter]
- 21:21>> I'm like okay,
- 21:22it's clear what you're doing.
- 21:23>> He's such a sicko. He's such a sicko.
- 21:25>> Yeah, absolute mad man. Dude's calling
- 21:27him
- 21:28yeah, Sam or [clears throat] yeah, Sam.
- 21:29>> it deliver you How did it deliver you
- 21:30this information in the morning? You
- 21:32said it gives you stuff 7:00 a.m. What
- 21:33does it look like?
- 21:34>> It's a text file with hyper
- 21:37>> it You should ask it to make you like a
- 21:38slideshow, like a deck. I have every
- 21:41morning every morning it delivers me a
- 21:42morning brief of like [ __ ] that I missed
- 21:44in the night or things that I have ahead
- 21:46of my day like it's obviously looped
- 21:47into all of my scheduling. I actually
- 21:49have a I feel like a a unique
- 21:51relationship with AI and and a big
- 21:53reason why I like really found myself
- 21:55falling down the rabbit hole is because
- 21:57a question that I'll ask these models um
- 21:59when I first discovered Claude one of my
- 22:02first questions is like hey, I'm Faze
- 22:03Banks like cuz there's a ton of
- 22:05information of me on the internet. I'm
- 22:06Faze Banks please scrape as much
- 22:08information as you possibly can on me
- 22:10and then ask me questions to try to
- 22:11better understand me and maybe what the
- 22:13internet maybe is missing. And it just
- 22:15gave me a very human response and like
- 22:16Claude
- 22:18blew my [ __ ] mind with how it
- 22:19responded and went back and forth with
- 22:20me on that and I just took the deep pill
- 22:22and like that's when Open Claude was
- 22:23popping off. So I set it all up and now
- 22:26like I'm kind of obsessed with it just
- 22:28like being very honest with me and like
- 22:30catching blind spots in my own personal
- 22:31life or professional life. I obviously I
- 22:33record every [ __ ] meeting that I do
- 22:35with my legal finance as it relates to
- 22:38everything that I'm I'm invested in or a
- 22:40part of my my day-to-day life, my
- 22:42workout routine, what I'm eating every
- 22:44day.
- 22:45I'm trying to give it as much
- 22:46information about me as possible. I I
- 22:48literally shared my entire I've been
- 22:50journaling every day twice a day for the
- 22:52last year and a half of my life and I
- 22:53took pictures of each page and gave it
- 22:55to it. And I'm like I want you to
- 22:56understand me better than [ __ ] anyone
- 22:59possibly could and I want you to to
- 23:00unbiased. I don't want you to be a
- 23:01yes-man. Like you said, the recursive
- 23:02loop. Like don't be a [ __ ] yes man.
- 23:04Ask me better questions. And every day
- 23:06in the morning it asks me 10 questions
- 23:08and then at the night it asks me 10 10
- 23:09questions and it's building the skill of
- 23:11just understanding me and helping me
- 23:13become like an optimal human. I think
- 23:15that that opportunity is for anybody.
- 23:18Like anybody could go do that today and
- 23:21and build that relationship with AI in
- 23:23that regard even if you're [ __ ]
- 23:24jobless. You know what I mean? Like even
- 23:26if you don't have have something like in
- 23:28the way that we're kind of talking
- 23:29about. I don't know. It's it's really
- 23:31interesting. I think that the
- 23:33the way that everybody's using AI is
- 23:34obviously kind of just replacing Google
- 23:36with it. But I think there's just so
- 23:38much more there that you need to I think
- 23:39you said an hour, you said 15 minutes. I
- 23:41think I would go as far as to say I
- 23:43think that everybody especially if
- 23:44you're watching this
- 23:46it should be mandatory in your
- 23:47day-to-day like to carve out an hour a
- 23:49day where you really like learn this
- 23:50[ __ ]
- 23:51>> 100%
- 23:52I agree. Yeah. Yeah.
- 23:54>> I think it's spot on. I think it is it's
- 23:56like as much time as you want to put
- 23:57into it is what you get out of it which
- 23:58is like a nice part of it, too. It's
- 23:59like you figure out ways to ask it
- 24:01questions and to Z's point it's like you
- 24:04can have it start to ask you questions
- 24:05back which is such a fascinating concept
- 24:07cuz it's like okay
- 24:09I can get better and this thing can get
- 24:10better at understanding what I'm trying
- 24:11to achieve.
- 24:12>> And bro, it just catches everything. It
- 24:14sees the whole
- 24:15you.
- 24:16>> context it gets the better and better.
- 24:18Yeah.
- 24:18>> But it has all the context in real time
- 24:20and it notices everything in real time.
- 24:21Like that's another thing that I've gone
- 24:22like really deep on in my own head where
- 24:24like we're having this conversation
- 24:26right now and I'm focused on your guys'
- 24:28faces and your your reactions to what
- 24:29I'm saying. But there's a million things
- 24:31around me like the floor, what the floor
- 24:33looks like and what the temperature in
- 24:34the room is and everything. And when you
- 24:36when when when AI's seeing it and
- 24:37processing it's processing everything.
- 24:39Like a good example from my own life um
- 24:43I just recently moved into a new place
- 24:44and I like had I went out and bought a
- 24:45bunch of plants and I'm like taking
- 24:47pictures of each plant and I'm like what
- 24:48how do I take care of these? What's the
- 24:50watering schedule look like? I asked
- 24:52[ __ ] I asked ChatGPT and Claude
- 24:54everything, right? And it just like I
- 24:56was putting a book next to each plant to
- 24:58give it a size reference. And it's like,
- 24:59"Yo, I don't need that. Like, I'm I'm
- 25:01much smarter than than you think. Like,
- 25:02I I don't need the book. Thank you,
- 25:04though." But, it noticed that I was
- 25:05putting it as a size reference. I didn't
- 25:06add that context. It noticed that. And
- 25:08then, it caught like
- 25:10out of the corner of its eye, I have a
- 25:12mirror from this artist, his name's
- 25:13Drouot. And it's like this big giant
- 25:15iPod mirror. And it added a little a
- 25:18little bar at the end, and it was like,
- 25:19"By the way, that's a really [ __ ]
- 25:20cool mirror, that iPod mirror." And it's
- 25:21like it's like crazy ironic that it's
- 25:24Drouot, and we're talking about plants.
- 25:25It like caught that and made that
- 25:26connection. Where I would never do that,
- 25:28but it noticed that. I don't know. It's
- 25:29a It's a dumb story, but it's like these
- 25:31things happen all the
- 25:32>> it's fascinating, cuz it picks up on the
- 25:33nuances that you don't even think of.
- 25:35And it's like, okay, this is like kind
- 25:36of crazy that it's it's so contextually
- 25:38aware. Which is nuts.
- 25:40>> socially aware. Like, that's a very
- 25:41human That's something that your friend
- 25:43would say, and you're like, "Damn,
- 25:43you're smart. You're sharp. That was
- 25:45good."
- 25:45>> Yeah, I was listening to Raoul Pal
- 25:46today, and he's he's confident AGI will
- 25:48happen in the next five years. And I'm
- 25:50like, that's pretty nuts.
- 25:51>> But, Gary brought up when we reacted to
- 25:53a clip, he said [ __ ] he said we're
- 25:5580% of the way to AGI, and then yeah,
- 25:57the Leopold guy says [ __ ] 2027,
- 26:00right?
- 26:00>> Yep.
- 26:01>> Yeah.
- 26:02>> It's It's It's here. It's happening.
- 26:04>> I'm like, what the [ __ ] What is What is
- 26:06it going to look like in five years from
- 26:07now?
- 26:08>> Bro, it's night and day.
- 26:10>> brother. It's like [laughter] It's like
- 26:11the internet The internet created
- 26:14the possibility and opportunity for like
- 26:16things like social media to exist. We
- 26:18never could have You couldn't imagine
- 26:20that being a thing without first the
- 26:22internet being a thing. You couldn't
- 26:23conceive it. Nobody had the idea of this
- 26:24being a thing. Because, you know,
- 26:26one has to come before the other. It's
- 26:28like electricity made way for the
- 26:29internet. The internet made way for
- 26:31social media.
- 26:32Which made way for AI. And that's going
- 26:34to make way for some brand new thing
- 26:36that everybody participates in, that
- 26:37controls the way that we interact as
- 26:39people, that doesn't exist yet. We can't
- 26:42even fathom it yet. That's the [ __ ]
- 26:44craziest part. That's why like,
- 26:46obviously, like AI is going to take
- 26:47over. It's going to change everything.
- 26:48Yeah, like on the on the It's It's to
- 26:50disrupt markets. It's going to replace
- 26:51jobs, or whatever. But like, what's that
- 26:53next [ __ ] thing that every we're all
- 26:56glued to our phones, we all have this
- 26:57other life on our phone, and it's
- 26:59Instagram, and it's Twitter, and it's
- 27:00this, it's that. What's that? What's
- 27:02that going to What's going to follow AI,
- 27:04you know? It's
- 27:04>> It's tough to say, man. It's just going
- 27:06to be fascinating to see, and it's one
- 27:07of those things where it's like I think
- 27:08the metrics are crazy where it's like
- 27:10less than 10% of people are using AI
- 27:12today. So, it's like
- 27:14>> be true. That's true?
- 27:16>> No, yeah, it's true. Bro, I think I have
- 27:18the [ __ ] um Let me see if I can pull
- 27:20it up.
- 27:21>> man. It's the Luddites. It's the people
- 27:22who said we don't need the internet, or
- 27:23[ __ ] the internet, or it's
- 27:24>> And it's also what There's 8 billion
- 27:26people, so 10% is like that's still
- 27:28pretty substantial number, but it's like
- 27:30I think in the grand scheme of things, I
- 27:32bet those numbers are skewed, obviously.
- 27:34Like in the US, I'm sure that number is
- 27:35much greater. In Europe, I'm sure that
- 27:36number is much greater. But then like
- 27:38there's obviously countries where it's
- 27:39much lower.
- 27:40>> had I actually had Claude build me this
- 27:42like pyramid like pie chart of like how
- 27:45many people use AI as much as X, Y, and
- 27:47Z, and like what the It's obviously an
- 27:48overwhelming majority of people that do
- 27:50use AI, use it on very surface level.
- 27:53How do I [ __ ] bake banana bread? How
- 27:55do I change my tire? And what's the UV
- 27:57out in Beverly Hills? I want to go for a
- 27:58walk.
- 27:59>> What are some nice restaurants near me?
- 28:00Or something like that.
- 28:01>> the closest coffee shop?
- 28:02>> Yeah.
- 28:03>> Yes, I I found the actual chart. This is
- 28:05the chart. It's like these dots. Each
- 28:07Each dot is 3 million people, and then
- 28:09all of the gray dots are like never used
- 28:12AI. All the green dots are like using
- 28:14the free version, and then yellow is
- 28:16paid for $20 a month, and then red is
- 28:18using the coding. And this is like
- 28:20everybody. [laughter]
- 28:21So, it's deliberate.
- 28:23>> everyday. I mean, like we just started
- 28:26and you guys are talking about the
- 28:26clipping side of things, and like we
- 28:28just built an in-house clipping
- 28:29infrastructure that I built in like 48
- 28:31hours, because like Z, I have a software
- 28:33development background. So, a lot of
- 28:34people don't even know that, but it's
- 28:35like I've got a software development
- 28:37background, which this is only amplified
- 28:39my ability to go and spin stuff up. Like
- 28:41my GitHub's never been so active, and
- 28:42it's like oh, I just have an idea, I can
- 28:43just go make it in like a few hours.
- 28:45With like level of depth that I could
- 28:47have never made in five years.
- 28:49>> It's crazy, bro. It's like people always
- 28:50ask how do I get to be like the top 10%?
- 28:52How do I get to be the top 5%? You just
- 28:55look at Look at the chart. It's like
- 28:56literally right now you have the
- 28:57opportunity to do something that a lot
- 28:59of people are not doing and improve
- 29:01yourself 10x. Like right now, today.
- 29:03>> Literally.
- 29:04>> Like this minute. Like it's crazy. It
- 29:06might be the [laughter] best thing ever.
- 29:07The people that are watching that are
- 29:09currently unemployed, that might be the
- 29:10[ __ ] best thing that could have ever
- 29:12happened for you because you can quite
- 29:13literally commit all of your time
- 29:15>> Bro, yeah. [laughter]
- 29:16>> Literally. As you should.
- 29:17>> The window The window of time and
- 29:19opportunity is currently shrinking. Like
- 29:21Like you said, five Whether it's five
- 29:22years out or one year out, it's not We
- 29:24don't have a ton of time,
- 29:25>> Well, I also got a crazy thesis that AI
- 29:27is going to become like a a rich
- 29:29person's game at some point.
- 29:31>> Let's hear it.
- 29:32>> So, I cuz if you look at the data right
- 29:34now, the amount of subsidized compute
- 29:36that these companies are giving the
- 29:37average user is like through the roof.
- 29:39So, for the average Claude user, every
- 29:41$200 sign-up is spending upwards of
- 29:43$20,000 per month on compute. The
- 29:46average $20 user is spending 2,000. So,
- 29:48when you start to break that down, it's
- 29:49like you're going to reach a point where
- 29:51you can't subsidize as much anymore
- 29:53because these companies have to be more
- 29:54profitable. So, whether it's ChatGPT
- 29:56going ads or Claude removing Claude code
- 29:58from the $20 subscription, they
- 30:00ultimately have to figure out a way to
- 30:02make these revenue positive, right?
- 30:04>> Mhm.
- 30:04>> So, that's like the main thing I think
- 30:05about is like at some point, the best
- 30:07models are only going to be able to be
- 30:09accessed by the people with the most
- 30:10money. And that's like you even look at
- 30:12this Mythos model, right? Like the
- 30:14Claude
- 30:15>> Mythos that's got everyone scared?
- 30:16>> Yep.
- 30:16>> That thing is the thing where it's like
- 30:18people have access to it, we don't, but
- 30:20there's people with money who do.
- 30:22>> Yeah, I was going to say the exact same
- 30:23thing. It's already happening now with
- 30:24the the Mythos model that that Claude
- 30:26has. I agree. It's It's like I think the
- 30:28one
- 30:29like optimistic part of it is how much
- 30:32cheaper each model is getting like as as
- 30:34time goes on. Like right now, the cost
- 30:37to use the best model in 2022 or
- 30:39whatever it was is like way way way way
- 30:40lower now than it was back then. So,
- 30:42that's the good thing, but I do think
- 30:43it's going to be like there's cer- only
- 30:46certain people and certain corporations
- 30:47that can use the best models. I 100%
- 30:49agree with that. It's 100% true.
- 30:51>> Easy, you saw us talk about this. The CL
- 30:53have nots
- 30:54>> Yeah.
- 30:55>> have
- 30:58>> It's like everybody who owns owns all
- 31:00the [ __ ] compute and the AI is just
- 31:02it's it's a rich man's game. Yeah,
- 31:04that's
- 31:04>> And it's only going to get worse. Like
- 31:06that's the reality. Like the best access
- 31:07to this stuff. So, it's like if you can
- 31:08get access to it now, use it because
- 31:10that's going to change.
- 31:12>> Yeah,
- 31:12>> [laughter]
- 31:12>> for sure.
- 31:14>> Like
- 31:14>> You can't tell me everyone's going to be
- 31:15able to have this level of ac- For 200
- 31:17bucks a month, it sounds like a lot, but
- 31:18what you can achieve for $200 a month
- 31:20significantly outweighs the cost.
- 31:21>> People are struggling to invest in these
- 31:23opportunities cuz they're not being made
- 31:25public until, you know,
- 31:27all the rich people get in. So, it's
- 31:28already is
- 31:30>> [clears throat]
- 31:30>> pretty much turning into a rich man's
- 31:31game.
- 31:32>> Oh, absolutely. But, I even think like
- 31:34going down that rabbit hole for like
- 31:35investing in the best AI model, it's
- 31:37like I don't need to invest in Claude or
- 31:39OpenAI. I don't want to invest in them
- 31:40at a trillion dollar market cap cuz like
- 31:42I think equity top is when all these
- 31:44companies IPO near the same time.
- 31:46There's a race for these AI companies to
- 31:48IPO. That's the current race that's
- 31:50happening because there's not enough
- 31:51capital in the market to sustain SpaceX
- 31:53at a trillion, OpenAI at [laughter] a
- 31:55trillion.
- 31:56>> We saw that happen in cryp- We saw that
- 31:57happen in crypto even when markets were
- 31:59super bullish for a long time.
- 32:00>> Coin- Coinbase's IPO was the top in
- 32:02April [clears throat] 2021.
- 32:03>> But, even like even even tokens like
- 32:05getting in pre um
- 32:07you know, like like pre-sale.
- 32:09Like so many so many like coin launches
- 32:12and project releases and stuff like
- 32:13their all-time highs were um were
- 32:16pre-sale.
- 32:17>> Yeah.
- 32:18>> Yeah. And that whole meta played out and
- 32:19everything else. And I think the same
- 32:21thing will happen with equities. Like
- 32:22the PE ratios are so nuts right now. And
- 32:26I'm just like, okay, there will be a top
- 32:27at some point. And I mean the big
- 32:30you The driving factor right now is like
- 32:31midterms, too. Like you have midterm
- 32:32elections. And for those unfamiliar with
- 32:33like the way that the politics system
- 32:35works, too, is you need a good economy
- 32:37going into midterms, at least on the
- 32:39market, for people to want to try to bet
- 32:41the incumbent. So, like Republican House
- 32:43and Senate is largely driven by
- 32:46a good economy. So, like you want the
- 32:48market to be all-time highs going into
- 32:49midterms.
- 32:52>> Yeah. Have you like with the I know you
- 32:54did some stuff with the prediction
- 32:56markets in that lane. Have you been
- 32:58following like the the NBA playoffs or
- 33:00any of that at all?
- 33:01>> Of course, dude. Yeah, so I played I
- 33:03hooped in college for a year.
- 33:05>> Oh, really? Where where'd you play?
- 33:07Really?
- 33:08>> It was a small small It was a small D2
- 33:10school. So, yeah. It's uh
- 33:12>> Did you ever play with Fred?
- 33:14>> Yeah, me and Fred played one-on-one. He
- 33:15cooked me, though. I was pissed. I was
- 33:16so out of
- 33:17>> [laughter]
- 33:18>> I was so out of shape from being
- 33:20chronically online in '21, '22, and I I
- 33:23was confident I could beat him. We
- 33:24played, he cooked me. And I went on this
- 33:26crazy weight loss journey right after
- 33:29where I cut like 30 lb cuz I was like,
- 33:31"Fuck this. I'm so out of shape." Got
- 33:32back to dunking, all this stuff, and I'm
- 33:34like, "Don't ever end up playing
- 33:35together
- 33:376 ft, 6'1".
- 33:38>> And you can [ __ ] yam it?
- 33:40>> Yeah.
- 33:41>> Wow.
- 33:41>> For real? [laughter]
- 33:42>> Oh, [ __ ]
- 33:42>> Oh, yeah.
- 33:43>> That's that's fun.
- 33:44>> I'll send you a video of it. I saw a
- 33:45video
- 33:46of me like even recently. I still I hoop
- 33:48three, four times a week right now.
- 33:49>> Yeah, we have we have we have runs
- 33:50three, four times a week in LA if you're
- 33:52ever in LA, seriously. Hit hit me.
- 33:53>> 100% I'd love to play.
- 33:54>> Luka came and played. Luka PudgeyPants.
- 33:56>> That's my guy. I used to play with him
- 33:57in Miami. Uh we played every single
- 33:59Saturday, Sunday. We played
- 34:00>> They're good runs. They're good runs.
- 34:02>> That's my guy. So, that's funny. But,
- 34:04yeah, so I've been watching I had a
- 34:06position on the Timberwolves to win the
- 34:08chip. So, when they beat the Nuggets, I
- 34:09sold out of that cuz dude, it was like
- 34:10sub-a-cent. But, the the prediction
- 34:12market stuff, even the finance on
- 34:14prediction markets are way more
- 34:15interesting. You can trade up, down
- 34:17daily markets for equities.
- 34:19>> Yeah.
- 34:19>> So, like today, I bought up on Nvidia
- 34:22last night at 40 cents right after they
- 34:24announced a deal, and they they closed
- 34:26today plus 3%. It was like one of the
- 34:28few green tickers. So, like you can find
- 34:30these opportunities. It's almost like a
- 34:31same-day option on prediction markets.
- 34:33And there's decent enough liquidity that
- 34:35you can make a few thousand a day
- 34:36if you're good with equities where
- 34:37they're so mispriced where I'm like, you
- 34:40can watch the premarket, watch the open,
- 34:42see what the directional bias is, and
- 34:44take a swing on it. And I've been doing
- 34:46fairly well with those. So it's fun to
- 34:48find these opportunities in prediction
- 34:49markets because your counterparty is
- 34:50another person. So I'm like, that's way
- 34:52more interesting versus options
- 34:53contracts and shares. You're either
- 34:55buying from a fund or selling to a fund.
- 34:57I'm trading against another human being
- 34:58who thinks Amazon's going to go down
- 35:00today even if all the all the metrics
- 35:03>> are through the roof.
- 35:04>> Yeah, I was going to say like probably
- 35:06trading the those certain prediction
- 35:08markets is like a lot easier than
- 35:09trading against the people who are
- 35:11constructing these options cuz like the
- 35:12people building the options, they don't
- 35:14really lose, [laughter] bro.
- 35:16>> They never lose.
- 35:16>> They never lose.
- 35:17>> You want the contract you win. It's like
- 35:19the counterparty on a on a parlay. If
- 35:21someone takes a parlay, that's why the
- 35:22house That's why casinos crush cuz
- 35:24parlays are so EV negative. On
- 35:26prediction markets, I can go trade us
- 35:27Like dude, I I play options on there all
- 35:29the time cuz I don't have to buy or not
- 35:31options, I play earnings cuz I don't
- 35:32have to buy an options contract.
- 35:33>> My dad was a bookie. My dad was a
- 35:34small-time bookie out of Boston and I I
- 35:37heard him on the phone constantly
- 35:38collecting money from people talking
- 35:39about this, talking about that. And
- 35:41yeah, that's how he made all his money.
- 35:42Parlays. He And he always taught us
- 35:45cuz he was a [ __ ] degenerate gambler
- 35:47himself, so he couldn't tell us not to
- 35:48gamble, but he was like,
- 35:49>> [laughter]
- 35:50>> "Don't ever do parlay. Parlays are
- 35:51sucker bets, and that's how I make
- 35:52money, and that's how everyone in in
- 35:54this industry makes money."
- 35:55>> Bro, the Sixers
- 35:56>> number one way.
- 35:58>> Bro, the Sixers beat Boston in seven,
- 35:59bro. And I would we're playing the
- 36:01Knicks now.
- 36:02>> Go go [ __ ] yourself, buddy.
- 36:04>> [laughter]
- 36:05>> What are we What are we trading or what
- 36:07are we trading?
- 36:07>> So Sixers right now, I think I'm going
- 36:09to take them tomorrow. They
- 36:11uh I think they're down two against the
- 36:13Knicks.
- 36:13>> points.
- 36:14>> They're
- 36:15uh favored. It's basically flat. I think
- 36:18I'm going to take Sixers to win tomorrow
- 36:19cuz we're We're down two. We can't lose
- 36:20three in a row. That's crazy. It's
- 36:21impossible.
- 36:22>> Is is Embiid back?
- 36:24>> I don't know if he's back. I know he was
- 36:26hurt.
- 36:26>> But OG went down. OG Anunoby went down
- 36:28on the Knicks late late late in the game
- 36:30last night. Uh I think a knee injury,
- 36:32small tweak. They haven't announced if
- 36:33he's injured or not, but I think that's
- 36:35like a pretty solid because if he's out,
- 36:37he was a big reason the Knicks came back
- 36:39in the fourth last night.
- 36:40>> I saw some clips talking about you
- 36:41talking about Polymarket, trading on
- 36:43Polymarket.
- 36:44>> Yeah.
- 36:44>> I mean doing doing pretty well there.
- 36:46>> Yeah.
- 36:46>> It's dude, Polymarket is fun, man. I
- 36:48just The big thing for me is just that
- 36:49it's the counterparty is the most
- 36:51interesting part is who your your
- 36:53opposite party is and who you're trading
- 36:55against is another person. I know funds
- 36:57are getting involved, but there's still
- 36:58so many mispriced markets.
- 37:00>> Yeah. Yeah.
- 37:01>> And I'm like
- 37:01>> Yeah.
- 37:02>> this is
- 37:03>> I mean Anthropic to flip BTC was at 20%
- 37:05last week. It's at 50 now, which is much
- 37:07more
- 37:08>> Yeah.
- 37:08>> you know, appropriate. I still think
- 37:10he's [ __ ] slammed that, but 20%'s
- 37:12that's ridiculous, obviously.
- 37:13>> Yeah. Oh, yeah. It's pretty wild. I
- 37:15mean, that's the thing is there's just
- 37:16so many opportunities on there for any
- 37:17market. Like dude, I know I have people
- 37:19I know that are just like adamant they
- 37:20trade Netflix top show of the week
- 37:22markets because they're just obsessed.
- 37:24>> It's just cool. It's just cool to be
- 37:26able to trade what you know, right?
- 37:27>> Is that a thing? I didn't even know it
- 37:29was a thing.
- 37:30>> The barrier to entry and and what
- 37:31stopped a lot of people from like
- 37:32investing their money into [ __ ] is just
- 37:34a lack of like understanding or a lack
- 37:37of interest in like traditional finance,
- 37:38whatever. But if you're a [ __ ] person
- 37:40who sits around and watches Netflix all
- 37:42day, you probably know more than the
- 37:43average bear about what the [ __ ] top
- 37:45Netflix show is going to be. You might
- 37:46have a little bit of alpha and you might
- 37:48be better equipped to trade that market
- 37:50and that's why Polymarket's
- 37:51I feel like
- 37:53a great product and and needs to exist.
- 37:56>> Yeah.
- 37:56>> There's just a market for everything, no
- 37:57matter what you're interested in.
- 37:59There's something that you can find an
- 38:00opportunity on. There's people who crush
- 38:02Spotify top like artist markets and it's
- 38:05just finding the the the vertical you're
- 38:07interested in and becoming obsessed with
- 38:09it and you can make money on it, which I
- 38:11think is awesome. Like it's just make
- 38:12money online.
- 38:13>> I see like rappers new albums, who's
- 38:15going to be featured on it. If you're
- 38:16really deep in that and you're in the
- 38:17Discords and [ __ ] and you find out two
- 38:19guys are [ __ ] arguing with each other
- 38:20and beefing with each other before
- 38:21everybody else, but they're expected to
- 38:23be on the album, but you know they're
- 38:24not going to be. It's an opportunity to
- 38:26somebody who's in like the a niche
- 38:27community. There's just all types of
- 38:29opportunities like this. It's likely
- 38:30that no matter what kind of niche
- 38:32interest you have or community you're a
- 38:33part of, there's an opportunity to trade
- 38:35against that information and
- 38:37understanding that um somewhere on
- 38:39Polymarket.
- 38:40So we got Sixers we got Sixers winning
- 38:42tomorrow. What else what else is going
- 38:43on in the in the playoffs?
- 38:44>> Um I know I'm actually Is uh is Ant back
- 38:48on the Thunder Timberwolves?
- 38:50>> Ooh, I don't know.
- 38:51>> Is Ant back? If Ant's back, I low-key I
- 38:53don't know how
- 38:55um
- 38:56>> Yeah, he is.
- 38:57>> He's back? He's back? Yeah, I low-key
- 38:58wanted to take them.
- 39:00I low-key wanted to take them to beat
- 39:01the Spurs. I know that's a super tough
- 39:03match-up for them, but I like the
- 39:04Timberwolves a lot though. I like I like
- 39:06Ant a lot. I like other dude Jaden
- 39:08McDaniels. I just really like the team.
- 39:10I think they're they're uh
- 39:11>> The team's fun.
- 39:12>> They're fun.
- 39:12>> a lot of fun. I mean it's They got a lot
- 39:14of the right pieces with Randall.
- 39:16Obviously it's like their their team's
- 39:17good and they match up really well. They
- 39:19obviously do The tough part is Victor
- 39:20Wembanyama is a beast, but if you want
- 39:22The The thing I'm trading tomorrow is
- 39:24the Wendy's earnings. I think Wendy's
- 39:25beats tomorrow on Polymarket.
- 39:27>> Wendy's?
- 39:28>> Yeah, the fast food.
- 39:30>> Wendy's nuts are in your mouth.
- 39:32>> [laughter]
- 39:33>> I was waiting for it. I was waiting for
- 39:35it. But I think they beat earnings
- 39:36tomorrow. It's at like 80%, but
- 39:38McDonald's absolutely shattered, so I'm
- 39:40like yeah, they'll tail.
- 39:41>> Yeah, we we've been talking a lot about
- 39:42like the the AI trade and tech and all
- 39:45these different things, but I feel like
- 39:46what's kind of under the radar right now
- 39:48is like a lot of the different consumer
- 39:50consumer plays. Like we haven't really
- 39:51talked as much about them. I'm I'm
- 39:53curious like I don't know if you have
- 39:54any thoughts on on those sectors. Me and
- 39:56Banks have kind of talked a little bit
- 39:57about how we think like the IRL
- 40:00relationships are going to start to
- 40:02change and people are going to start
- 40:03investing in interesting things there. I
- 40:06just feel like the pendulum has swung so
- 40:07far to the online communities and like a
- 40:10lot of people are feeling that um
- 40:13like lack of companionship and like lack
- 40:15of friendship in a lot of different
- 40:16ways.
- 40:17And we know that like something new is
- 40:18going to pop up or something more
- 40:20interesting is going to pop up like
- 40:21around how people come together in in
- 40:23different ways.
- 40:24>> Gary V had an interesting comment on it.
- 40:26I think he was either on TBPN or
- 40:27monitoring the situation and he
- 40:29commented on it. It was like he wanted
- 40:30to make a restaurant or
- 40:32uh like an experience where you go in
- 40:34hand your phone over and sit at a
- 40:35communal table.
- 40:36>> I love it. I love it. I've talked about
- 40:37I've talked about events um and like
- 40:39music festivals like unplugged where you
- 40:42go and you turn in your phone and
- 40:43there's no phones allowed. There's no
- 40:45>> I don't know why they haven't done that.
- 40:46Like comedy shows make you they're
- 40:47adamant no phone. Like hard no phone at
- 40:49comedy shows.
- 40:50>> And by the way, comedy shows to this day
- 40:52I every time I go to a comedy show I
- 40:53tell myself I need to do this bi-weekly.
- 40:55It's like when you get a massage, you're
- 40:56like, why the [ __ ] don't I do this more
- 40:57often?
- 40:58>> I just saw Shane Gillis in Chicago and
- 40:59it was awesome.
- 41:00>> There's nothing better. There's nothing
- 41:02better. It's one of the absolute best
- 41:03real-life experiences uh that has held
- 41:06>> It's not everyone holding their phone up
- 41:07like at a concert or a festival.
- 41:08Everyone's got their phone up and you
- 41:10see the lights from the phones more than
- 41:11anything else. There's not a phone up in
- 41:12that entire place.
- 41:13>> And these [ __ ] are real-life
- 41:14funny. There's something about stand-up
- 41:15that really hits different when you're
- 41:16in person. It's it's it's a good time.
- 41:18>> Yeah.
- 41:19>> Um
- 41:20Yeah, no, I love that. I think I think I
- 41:22think along the same lines, I don't
- 41:23know, 80% of all venture capital has
- 41:25gone straight into AI over the last
- 41:27year, I think. It's [ __ ] insane.
- 41:30There has to be some sort of opportunity
- 41:32on the other end of the spectrum.
- 41:33Um
- 41:40Easy, you said you hoop.
- 41:42>> Yeah.
- 41:43>> I need to show you this clip. I have to.
- 41:46Because we hooped last night and there
- 41:48was um
- 41:51there was something that happened and
- 41:52there was stirred up it stirred up it
- 41:53stirred up a ton of controversy.
- 41:55>> Okay.
- 41:55>> [laughter]
- 41:57>> between me and the uh
- 41:59the other guys.
- 42:02>> I think I know he wants to he told me
- 42:03watch this.
- 42:06>> You heard him. He called it a travel.
- 42:08>> No, pivot foot's down.
- 42:09>> Thank you, brother. Thank
- 42:10>> Pivot foot down back
- 42:11>> How the [ __ ] is that a [laughter]
- 42:12travel? Are you crazy?
- 42:14>> It's a travel, bro. You switched your
- 42:15pivot foot.
- 42:16>> No, I did not.
- 42:17>> You switched
- 42:18>> [laughter]
- 42:19>> You switched your pivot
- 42:20>> No, I did not.
- 42:21>> Go go slow
- 42:23go slow mo go slow mo.
- 42:26>> This you could debate this first one is
- 42:28a travel because my my foot did did
- 42:30>> Back foot comes up.
- 42:31>> Hey, I'm not talking about that though.
- 42:32I'm not talking about that.
- 42:33>> Yeah, I know you're not talking
- 42:33[laughter] about
- 42:34And that's not what I got called for
- 42:35traveling. So we're going to focus and
- 42:37and and pay attention to what I
- 42:39[laughter] actually got called for.
- 42:40How do I get rid of this [ __ ] bar?
- 42:42Okay.
- 42:43We're going to go frame by frame.
- 42:45>> [laughter]
- 42:45>> Okay?
- 42:48Ready?
- 42:49Okay, pick it up.
- 42:51Left
- 42:51>> This left foot is
- 42:52>> Left is the pivot. Left is the pivot.
- 42:54>> Left is the pivot. You're not lifting
- 42:55>> And then
- 42:55>> You do not lift it.
- 42:56>> You switched.
- 42:57>> It's still planted.
- 42:58>> No, you switched.
- 42:59>> [laughter]
- 43:00>> You switched.
- 43:02I told you.
- 43:03It's a travel.
- 43:07>> [snorts]
- 43:07>> That's travel.
- 43:08>> [laughter]
- 43:08>> I'm sorry, brother. I had to.
- 43:13>> [gasps]
- 43:13>> Cuz
- 43:14>> It's crazy. I I got [laughter] it I got
- 43:15it over on you originally initially.
- 43:18>> You [clears throat] did.
- 43:18>> People swiped up. I posted it on
- 43:20Instagram and so many people swiped
- 43:21[laughter] up. They're like, "Nah, bro.
- 43:22That's pivot. That's not a travel." This
- 43:24and that.
- 43:25>> I watched it I watched it a few times.
- 43:28>> I was going to ask Tristan about it.
- 43:31>> [laughter]
- 43:31>> That's so funny.
- 43:33>> It was close, yo. It was close.
- 43:36>> I swear to God I fought tooth and nail
- 43:38against this being a travel up until
- 43:40this moment. It was a travel.
- 43:41>> [laughter]
- 43:43>> I actually can't believe it.
- 43:45Yeah, it might have been travel.
- 43:47>> Yeah, it was. It was a travel.
- 43:48>> That was a [ __ ] travel.
- 43:49>> It was close though. Like I could I
- 43:51could see how you argue it's not for
- 43:53sure.
- 43:53>> Yeah.
- 43:54>> For sure.
- 43:55Yes, now it was.
- 43:58Great defense though.
- 43:59>> It was close. It was close [laughter]
- 44:00though. It was close.
- 44:03>> It was close.
- 44:04>> If I got If I got that other foot down
- 44:05before I brought the ball up Like
- 44:07>> Yeah, exactly. You didn't even need like
- 44:09one more dribble.
- 44:10>> You got four guys on you there.
- 44:11>> I mean, him calling that travel though
- 44:13is [ __ ] crazy. I was ready to fight
- 44:14him over it. I was like, "Are you
- 44:15[ __ ] [laughter] crazy? You check the
- 44:16[ __ ] ball."
- 44:17>> In pick up, that's that's a wild call
- 44:19pick up.
- 44:19>> It was insane. By [laughter] the way, by
- 44:21the way, the kid recording it goes, "It
- 44:22wasn't a travel. I have it. Come watch
- 44:24it." And the kid who called it was like,
- 44:25"Nah, [ __ ] that. Just check the ball."
- 44:27He didn't even want to go watch it.
- 44:28>> It was a close call. It was a close
- 44:30call.
- 44:30>> That is [snorts] [ __ ] funny, bro.
- 44:32>> Are we wrapped on the Poly Market uh uh
- 44:35basketball [ __ ] or you guys want to keep
- 44:36going on the um
- 44:38the playoffs?
- 44:38>> Tomorrow.
- 44:40>> Playoffs are over.
- 44:40>> I think I think I think so.
- 44:44Um
- 44:45What else do we have anything today?
- 44:47Like who's playing today?
- 44:48Who's playing right now?
- 44:49Is there anything live going on?
- 44:51>> Yeah.
- 44:53>> Uh Cavs-Pistons.
- 44:55>> Cavs-Pistons?
- 44:55>> Pistons up eight.
- 44:56>> What Cavs-Pistons?
- 44:57>> Pistons are up eight.
- 45:00>> Let's see.
- 45:03Cleveland-Pistons. Who's Who's Who's
- 45:05nice for Cleveland right now? That's
- 45:06[ __ ] um what's Donovan Mitchell?
- 45:08>> Donovan Mitchell.
- 45:09>> Yeah, Donovan Mitchell.
- 45:11Detroit was Were they the one seed?
- 45:13>> Yeah, they're the one seed.
- 45:14>> They're the one seed.
- 45:15>> crazy cuz Cade was hurt for like last 15
- 45:16games.
- 45:17>> And he's back now?
- 45:19>> Yeah.
- 45:20>> I think Detroit takes this, bro. I think
- 45:21we might This is like This is a freebie.
- 45:23>> They struggled with the Magic, which was
- 45:24crazy, but the Magic were playing out of
- 45:26their minds.
- 45:28>> Yeah. I know. Yeah, that That was like
- 45:30the eight the first time that they
- 45:33like a while that they're they're
- 45:34playing so well.
- 45:35>> crazy.
- 45:35>> Yeah. That's a weird match up though,
- 45:37Pistons and the [ __ ] Magic. Like
- 45:39that's that's [ __ ] weird.
- 45:41>> Yeah, it's a tough match up, and they
- 45:42don't see each other a lot during the
- 45:43regular season.
- 45:45>> Bro, I watch a football way more than I
- 45:47watch basketball. Football I watch every
- 45:49game. Basketball it's like when it comes
- 45:50to the the playoffs,
- 45:52I'll watch that, but like I don't really
- 45:54watch a ton during the season.
- 45:55>> Dude, I'm a sad Jets fan, so it's tough
- 45:57to watch football, man.
- 45:58>> Who do Who do y'all draft? That's That's
- 46:00awful, by the way. I'm sorry.
- 46:02>> Yeah, no, I got the name it jersey
- 46:03literally right here.
- 46:04>> Oh, [ __ ] That's hard.
- 46:06>> Yeah, it's I don't even know who we
- 46:08drafted, bro. I've been so like I watch
- 46:10every game and I'm still just
- 46:11disappointed. I'm just like, man, we are
- 46:12terrible.
- 46:14We'll see how it goes.
- 46:15>> I thought when when you guys got Rogers,
- 46:16I was like, okay, their defense was
- 46:18decent for a little bit. They got
- 46:19Rogers.
- 46:20And you had a you had a good you had a
- 46:22receiver, too. Is it Garrett? That was
- 46:24decent.
- 46:25Yeah, I was like, okay, that that might
- 46:26be decent and then he got hurt like
- 46:28immediately.
- 46:29>> Yeah. It was [laughter] ugly, man. It
- 46:31was ugly. It got ugly quick for us. It
- 46:32usually does, so.
- 46:34>> Yeah.
- 46:34>> It is what it is. It is what it is.
- 46:37>> I'm hyped for football this year, bro. I
- 46:38think I think my Eagles are going to be
- 46:39good.
- 46:40>> I think so, too.
- 46:42>> I think they're going to be good.
- 46:47Yo, should we should we do the [ __ ]
- 46:49the Omegle [ __ ] bro?
- 46:51>> Sure. Are we through everything else?
- 46:52We're we're good on everything else?
- 46:54>> I think so. I think we hit.
- 46:55>> We could do that.
- 46:56>> I think we hit.
- 46:56>> Yeah, [ __ ] it. Let's do it. Let me see
- 46:58you.
- 46:58>> Bro, you know Omegle is easy?
- 47:00>> Uh that's just like video platform,
- 47:02right?
- 47:02>> We'll watch a clip. We'll watch a clip.
- 47:04>> Not Omegle, bro. I used to damn, was it
- 47:06that [ __ ] What was that [ __ ] called?
- 47:07Omegle back in the day?
- 47:09>> No, what's Omegle?
- 47:10>> Bro, I used to be on Omegle. Omegle used
- 47:12to be [ __ ] fun, actually, back way,
- 47:14way, way back. That's a throwback. I
- 47:16forgot that was even a thing.
- 47:18>> Here, let's watch let's watch it. Let me
- 47:20pull it up.

- 47:33they do, man. Jason's a great really
- 47:35good streamer.
- 47:39It's like lagging.

- 48:10>> This is it.
- 48:13Yeah!
- 48:15>> They run it back instantly.
- 48:26>> [music]
