- 0:00If you're planning a trip to Dubai with your family and think it'll be too expensive,
- 0:04don't worry, because I'm here to help. Hello friends, my
- 0:07name is Yugant, and let's talk about Dubai. This isn't just a city. This is Dubai where the
- 0:12future meets tradition and dreams touch the sky. In today's video,
- 0:16I'll show you step-by-step how to plan a trip to Dubai, all within your budget.
- 0:20From visas to flight tickets, currency exchange, hotel booking,
- 0:25creating the perfect itinerary, booking activities, and what to keep in mind if you're traveling with kids
- 0:28. How to use taxis and the metro in Dubai? Where
- 0:32to get a SIM card? And my personal Dubai experience. So friends, stay tuned,
- 0:36because this one video is enough to
- 0:40plan your next Dubai family trip
- 0:54. Whenever you plan an international trip, the first question is how much
- 0:58it will cost. The simple rule is: flights plus hotel plus visa. If these three things
- 1:03fit within your budget, then your trip is almost sorted. So,
- 1:06let's talk about the flight first. I booked my flight with Oman Air. It
- 1:10wasn't a direct flight. There was a layover, but the fare cost me
- 1:14around ₹19,000. Considering the December peak season, it was a pretty good deal. If you're a little
- 1:19flexible with your layover, you can save a lot on your flight. After the flight,
- 1:23I applied for a Dubai tourist visa. It costs around
- 1:26₹7,000 for adults. Children are free. The only tax you have to pay is
- 1:31around ₹1,500. And if you want to see the Dubai visa process step-by-step,
- 1:35I've made a separate video detailing it.
- 1:39You can find the link in the description. So now we come to hotels. Location matters.
- 1:44I did a lot of research when choosing a hotel. Initially, I was going to Bardu, Dubai, but it
- 1:48seemed a bit crowded. Then I looked at the Al-Jadaf area. There, I
- 1:52found a hotel called the Premier Inn, within walking distance of the metro station. The airport was very close. It
- 1:57was family-friendly and a very quiet area. The cost was very reasonable.
- 2:02I got a family room with breakfast for ₹8,500 per night. The rooftop pool at this hotel is quite nice, and
- 2:08the breakfast variety was excellent. So, that's why I love this hotel. We
- 2:13also had to visit Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, for two days. We didn't
- 2:17book a separate hotel for that. The reason was that it would have been a hassle with luggage and the kids. That's why we
- 2:20kept all the nights in Dubai and traveled from there. Booking activities
- 2:24was our biggest money saver. We did a lot of research on activities,
- 2:28checked Klook and other websites, and spoke with local agents. We compared everything. The cheapest option turned out to be
- 2:33the Cluq Dubai Pass. You can create your own combo. For example, you book five attractions
- 2:37and get a special attraction with them. So,
- 2:40we chose Yas Island as the special attraction, and the remaining five
- 2:43attractions were included. So, what I booked was Museum of the Future, Burj Khalifa,
- 2:48Marina Dhow Cruise, Yas Island's two parks, which were Warner Bros. World and SeaWorld,
- 2:54Desert Safari, and Miracle Garden. The total cost came to around ₹22,500, which
- 3:00is approximately ₹910. If you'd booked all these separately, just
- 3:04the two parks on Yas Island would have cost you 400 to 450 Dhs. So, we saved a lot of money,
- 3:11and I simply loved this option I booked myself. Now, let's talk about the itinerary,
- 3:15which was supposed to be relaxed and family-friendly. Let me tell you
- 3:19about it . On the first day, we went to the Museum of the Future in the morning.
- 3:22After enjoying it for three hours and wandering around, we returned to the hotel.
- 3:27We took a break. Then we headed to the Dubai Mall. We explored the Dubai Mall and
- 3:32had dinner at Mausam Restaurant, which is also in the Dubai Mall.
- 3:36The Indian food there was amazing, and the view of the Burj Khalifa was beautiful. The restaurant
- 3:40was a bit expensive, but it was my wife's birthday. That's why I chose that
- 3:44option. After dinner, we went to the Burj Khalifa. The views
- 3:48were stunning, and we also saw the fountain show below. Then, after returning,
- 3:53we re-entered the Dubai Mall and saw the fountain show from close by. So, that was
- 3:57about the first day. If you want Indian food and the best views, I think Mausam
- 4:01Restaurant is the perfect place to play. Day Two: Shopping Plus Cruise.
- 4:06In the morning, we went to Meena Bazaar because I wanted to buy an iPhone 17 Pro
- 4:10Max. I went on the second day because I wanted to shoot the rest of the trip with the same phone.
- 4:14We also shopped for a lot of chocolates and perfumes. And if you
- 4:20want to know where I bought the iPhone, chocolates, and perfume from Cheapest Way,
- 4:23I've made a detailed video of it. You can watch it there.
- 4:27From there, in the evening, we went on the Marina Do cruise, which starts from Marina.
- 4:31The best part of it, I thought,
- 4:35was the Indian menu on the Marina Do cruise, and the Hyatt restaurant menu. The food was
- 4:39amazing. Furthermore, I booked the Cheapest Way cruise through Klook. I've
- 4:44already mentioned that in the activities section. The biggest bonus was that it
- 4:48was UAE National Day, so we got to see the fireworks, which were absolutely amazing. We enjoyed
- 4:52watching it. Marina is a bit far away, so if you're coming from Dubai or Al Jazeera
- 4:57, leave two hours early to ensure you'll be able to reach and see them properly. Day Three: Yas
- 5:02Island, Warner Bros. World. If you're with kids, this is the best place to go. You
- 5:06can get a free shuttle from Dubai. The shuttle we took was
- 5:10from Dubai Deira City Centre at 11:00 am. If you want to know the schedules,
- 5:14I'll put a link in the description. You
- 5:18can check the nearest shuttle to your hotel. You can
- 5:21go there. The shuttle starts
- 5:26at 11:00 am and picks us up around 12:30 pm. It's open until 8:00 am (silent). So, you
- 5:30can do a lot of rides. Our top rides were Batman Knight
- 5:34Flight, Justice League, the Green Lantern Coaster, and the Flynn Stones boat ride. All of these were very
- 5:41good rides. The other rides were also good. But these
- 5:44were some of the top rides I really enjoyed. Food is a bit expensive here,
- 5:48but you'll find a staff member on the shuttle who will sell you meal vouchers.
- 5:54We got a meal voucher from them for 15-50 euros for one person. It saved us a lot of money. If
- 5:58you can find it on the Dera Express, which is your bus, the Jasland Express,
- 6:02please take it; it will save you a lot of money. Also,
- 6:06at Warner Bros. World, you'll find a screen that will display the show
- 6:10timings. What exactly are those show timings? You
- 6:13can go and get a photo taken with your favorite characters, like Batman as Robin, Wonder Woman,
- 6:17Superman, Aquaman as Flash. You can get a photo taken with all of them there
- 6:21. You'll find the timings on the screen. So, don't miss that
- 6:24at all. Day Three: After Jasland, Day Four: We relaxed a bit and
- 6:28went on a desert safari. We woke up in the morning, relaxed, had breakfast,
- 6:33went to the pool, and got ready. Around 1:30 PM, we were picked up by the people
- 6:39who were going on our evening desert safari. We went there first,
- 6:44waited a bit, and did dune bashing. Then we saw a fire show and went on a camel ride. The food
- 6:49was absolutely amazing. The variety was excellent. There was a lot of variety.
- 6:55The dancing and other activities were also excellent. This includes your hotel and pickup,
- 7:00which I booked with Klook to Klook Pass, as I've already mentioned
- 7:02. It was a very good safari, and it was a unique experience. Going on a desert safari
- 7:09here was quite amazing. Day Five: Yas Island Sea
- 7:13World: If you're with small kids, Sea World is perfect for you. The best
- 7:17part that I found here in Sea World was the Ocean Center area, which
- 7:23is the area in the middle, there is a huge screen installed where you
- 7:27can see the entire Sea World and there are shows there as well, so I found that place quite beautiful,
- 7:31apart from this, dolphin show, seal show, rainforest animals, these are the peak things
- 7:37to see here, there is a penguin area where you
- 7:41can come and see penguins on the railway, so you should not miss Sea World, it is a very ultimate place to go,
- 7:46apart from this, do not miss the timings of the shows, you can check them on the screen,
- 7:50after going there, I liked the dolphin show, seal show the most, and apart from this, there
- 7:55is a 360 ride which is inside the Polar Ocean, that ride is also very ultimate, phones
- 8:00and cameras are not allowed there, but if you come back after viewing that, then all together it
- 8:04will be one of the best lifetime experience. Your Day Six is Miracle Garden plus JBR
- 8:08Beach, so we left in the morning towards Miracle Garden You can easily spend
- 8:13three to four hours here, and you have to come to Burjman station
- 8:16, Bur Dubai or Al Jed, wherever you are coming from, and from Burjman you get bus 105.
- 8:20The number takes you to Miracle Garden in 10 to 15 minutes. All in all, it
- 8:26was a wonderful experience. I've never seen such a beautiful garden in my life. We
- 8:29had planned to visit Global Village that evening, but we missed it because we
- 8:33wanted to see JBR Beach. I actually knew there was a drone show there every day at
- 8:378:00 and 10:00. I didn't want to miss that drone show.
- 8:40I had never seen a drone show in my life. But it was truly
- 8:43amazing. And the JBR beach vibes were simply amazing. Day Seven: We chilled out
- 8:48, had a leisurely breakfast, got up, and finally
- 8:52went about our final shopping. We did some shopping. We did some perfume shopping in the area near Meena Bazaar.
- 8:57I'll share a few tips. I've made a separate video,
- 9:01which tells you where you can shop. After that,
- 9:05we went to one last place: Wings of Mexico, which can be reached from the Dubai Mall
- 9:12by taxi or bus. It's a spot that
- 9:17always has a 30-45 minute wait. It can take a while to
- 9:21get there, but the spot is quite beautiful, as you can see in my video
- 9:24. Now, let's talk about currency and payments
- 9:29. I mostly brought cash from India, which I converted
- 9:33and used there. However, mostly, our food bills, and sometimes
- 9:39I went to a shopping complex, where I did some shopping. For example, I
- 9:42bought groceries, bread, or water, I paid for all of them
- 9:46with the Neo Global Card. There's no mark-up on it. So, I used that
- 9:50. But if you're buying an iPhone or other gadgets, pay in cash.
- 9:55Whether you withdraw money or pick it up from here. Otherwise
- 9:58, a 2.5 to 3% extra fee is charged on gadgets and electronics, so you'll have to pay
- 10:02with your card. This isn't a very good option. Local transport in Dubai, especially taxis,
- 10:07is quite expensive there. You probably already know this. But let me
- 10:11tell you a few tricks. We mostly used the metro, and I'll show you
- 10:14where to get a NIL card, how much it costs, and how to use it. I
- 10:19'll explain that in this video. So, buy this NIL card for 25 Dhs each. I
- 10:27think a 19 Dhs balance is loaded into the 25 Dhs, and the 6 Dhs are your security
- 10:30. When you give it back, you get the 6 Dhs back. Usually,
- 10:33I'm never able to return it, and these cards are returned. But this time,
- 10:37I'll see if I'll return it. Additionally, you
- 10:40can get a gold version. Its cost is a little higher. So, the Gold card at the front
- 10:44is reserved for Gold passengers. But I don't
- 10:47find it to be a value-add, meaning you'll generally get it for nothing. So, that's today's update:
- 10:53a guard costs 25 dirhams, with six dirhams for your security, and 19 dirhams for a loaded
- 10:57balance over five years. We have to pay the full amount,
- 11:02so there's no discount. But below that, Kids Are Free, meaning my younger
- 11:06son, Himach, is free, and for Himeshika, I paid the full amount for an
- 11:10adult. So, generally speaking, if you're traveling with children,
- 11:13I need to keep one more thing in mind: whenever you
- 11:18recharge this card, it will be a minimum of 50 dirhams. Furthermore, whenever
- 11:22you surrender the card, five dirhams will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be returned to you
- 11:26. But generally, it's not like you're always using the metro, so just
- 11:30install the Careem app on your phone. You'll have the Uber app on your phone. Install the Careem app.
- 11:35Always book a Hala taxi on the Careem app. They're the cheapest taxis in Dubai.
- 11:40You can save a lot of money on those Hala taxis. But, of course, when booking,
- 11:43compare it with Uber. If Uber is offering the same price, then
- 11:47go with Uber. You'll get a Lexus or BMW instead of a CR or Corolla. So that's up to you. But, of course,
- 11:52install both apps, compare them, and then book. I think it would be a good option
- 11:55for you. So, if you're traveling with children,
- 11:58keep a few tips in mind. The ACs are always very loud.
- 12:02They're quite strong. So, sometimes, say, you're taking the Silent Express or
- 12:07going to an amazing park, the ACs are very loud there. So,
- 12:10be sure to carry jackets for your little ones, whether they're in use or not.
- 12:14Take it with you. It often happens that you're wearing a half-t-shirt somewhere and you
- 12:17start feeling cold, so think about the kids, they'll feel even colder. That's the first step.
- 12:21And carry your kids' medicine. Bring it from India. Even if you get it there,
- 12:25the salt isn't the same. So that's a problem. So, that's one thing. And your
- 12:31average daily walking around, wherever you go, is 8 to 10 kilometers.
- 12:37So, definitely take a stroller for the kids. Don't miss it. Even if your
- 12:41child is 6, 7, or 8 years old and doesn't want to walk much,
- 12:44take a stroller for him. Take him for a stroll in it. Let's talk about SIM cards. So, whenever you go through immigration,
- 12:48suppose you have two adult passports, you get
- 12:52two free SIM cards on them . When you go through immigration, you get a
- 12:57SIM card that's valid for 24 hours and offers 10GB of data. It's a
- 13:01free SIM card. So, you'll use it for two days: the first and second day.
- 13:05What did I do on the third day? Later, I bought a 3GB eSIM via a Klook, which
- 13:09cost me only ₹400. I used less data because
- 13:14almost all of Dubai has free Wi-Fi, so I don't face any problems. But
- 13:17generally, sometimes you need to book a taxi or check navigation routes, so
- 13:21you need a SIM card. That's why I bought this eSIM
- 13:25from Klook. It was a 3GB SIM card with a seven-day validity and cost ₹400.
- 13:29So, if you want more data, you can do it.
- 13:33But this is a very convenient option. Let me tell you one more thing. If you are going to Dubai
- 13:37, WhatsApp calling will not work there. So, apart from this, another alternative
- 13:40is the Bothim app. Install this Bothim app and go and I think you will be good. All your
- 13:45relatives with whom you want to talk should also have the app in their phones. Just like
- 13:48WhatsApp and you can talk. After telling you all this, I will tell you some more tips
- 13:52which are my personal experience. Do try the local restaurants. I mean, I
- 13:56used to go there in the morning because I am a little fond of local sightseeing. So, I used to drink tea
- 14:00in the morning for one and a half dim. He used to make very good tea. There was a guy in Aljedaaf with him
- 14:05and he used to buy water bottles. They used to cost around two dim. If I needed a water bottle,
- 14:09I would buy it locally. There is a restaurant in Aljedaaf called Greenland Restaurant. It eats
- 14:14South Indian food mostly, but very good hospitality. Very nice people and very good
- 14:19food. So, we had a family meal together. Now that we are coming back from a tired state, a full family
- 14:23meal would cost us 50 dim. We ate very well. So, this
- 14:27restaurant is a must-try. If you are staying in Aljedaaf
- 14:31and have any queries or doubts, you can ask in the comments. I
- 14:35will reply to you. You can also connect on Instagram. And if you
- 14:38found the video helpful, don't forget to like, subscribe, and share. I hope
- 14:42friends, after watching this video, you will plan your own trip to Dubai.
- 14:46See you in the next video. Till then, stay happy, stay safe. Bye
- 14:50bye.
