- 0:00Hello aspirants! Welcome to DSSSB
- 0:02Sarthi. "Sir, I've covered all subjects
- 0:04, but this GK just isn't happening.""
- 0:06Sometimes I get two marks, sometimes
- 0:08minus two.""What should I do?" Come on,
- 0:10I'll tell you. Today, I will tell you
- 0:12about some specific GK subjects and
- 0:14their key topics, which, if studied
- 0:16well, will guarantee you 8 to 12 marks.
- 0:20Then, if you say, "No sir, I have more
- 0:22courage and want to work harder," then
- 0:24I'll suggest a couple more subjects,
- 0:26from which, if you study the topics,
- 0:28you can touch up to 15 marks in GK. And
- 0:31the most special thing is that I will
- 0:34cover all these topics and subjects for
- 0:37you in the next 40 to 50 days, and you
- 0:39will get the notes on the 'DSSSB Sarthi
- 0:42' Telegram channel and all the videos
- 0:44for free on this YouTube channel. So,
- 0:48if you haven't subscribed yet, hit the
- 0:49subscribe button and watch the rest of
- 0:51the video. Let's get started. I
- 0:54analyzed all the PYQs from the teaching
- 0:57and non-teaching exams conducted by
- 1:00DSSSB in 2025 and 2026, and after the
- 1:03analysis, I found that if you want 15+
- 1:06marks in General Awareness, you will
- 1:09need to put in two steps of effort. I
- 1:13call the first step the 'Trio' and the
- 1:16second 'Extra Effort'. So, what is the
- 1:19Trio? What is it? "Three's a crowd"? No
- 1:23, three is a power pack. So, what's in
- 1:26the Trio? Polity, Static GK, and
- 1:30Current Affairs. Just from these three
- 1:34subjects, 8 to 10 marks of the GK paper
- 1:36come. Only from these three subjects.
- 1:39And what are the topics for extra
- 1:41effort? Economics, Geography, General
- 1:44Science, and Modern History. These are
- 1:47the names of the subjects. Come, let's
- 1:49look at the Trio first. Then we will
- 1:51look at the lead edge topics. What are
- 1:52the sub-topics within them? Polity
- 1:55alone is very vast. I could teach you
- 1:57the UPSC level if you wanted. But no,
- 1:59we will only teach what DSSSB asks
- 2:01questions from. So, let's look at them
- 2:04topic by topic. What are the Indian
- 2:06Polity sub-topics? Historical
- 2:10Frameworks and Acts, Constituent
- 2:12Assembly, Sources of Constitution,
- 2:14Articles, Schedules and Parts,
- 2:15Fundamental Rights and Duties. Look at
- 2:19this, very important: Union and State
- 2:21Organs. Look at these, these topics are
- 2:25for the top 10 list. I will bring one
- 2:28video of 30 to 40 minutes on each of
- 2:30these topics. The entire Polity will be
- 2:33finished in 10 videos, okay? You can
- 2:35look into the details yourself; I'm not
- 2:37going to unnecessarily lengthen the
- 2:38video. How do they ask questions? They
- 2:41will ask direct article-based questions
- 2:43. They won't ask like UPSC or SSC. No
- 2:45creating statements or anything like
- 2:46that, brother. What is in Article 12?
- 2:49Or in which article is the definition
- 2:51of 'State'? Direct. And since it is a
- 2:53Delhi exam, they will ask
- 2:55Delhi-specific administrative articles.
- 2:57For example, you studied the Supreme
- 2:58Court. But if you look at the details
- 3:00within the Supreme Court. Then Article
- 3:02130 defines the seat of the Supreme
- 3:05Court, which is Delhi, so it becomes
- 3:07related to Delhi. So, this becomes a
- 3:10Delhi-specific administrative article.
- 3:12Thus, it becomes important. The depth
- 3:16remains moderate, a bit lukewarm—
- 3:18neither too deep nor too shallow. We
- 3:21don't need to study UPSC-level theory.
- 3:23We just need to hit the MCQs, right?
- 3:25Knowing three wrong answers or one
- 3:27right answer will get the job done. So,
- 3:28let's move on to Static GK now. Static
- 3:33GK's most favorite topic: Census. What
- 3:37will come under this? They will ask
- 3:39questions related to the 2011 Census.
- 3:41Tell the literacy rates. Tell the sex
- 3:43ratio. Highest and lowest population
- 3:46density. And let me tell you one more
- 3:47piece of good news. I am recording this
- 3:49video right now. Just before this, I
- 3:51have already prepared and finished the
- 3:53Census video. This video will be posted
- 3:55today, and your Census video will
- 3:56arrive tomorrow. Let me tell you
- 3:58another piece of good news. The Census
- 3:59notes are available in both English and
- 4:02Hindi medium. On that note, subscribe
- 4:04right now. And come on, let me show you
- 4:06the next Static topics. What is the
- 4:08next one? Art and Culture: Classical
- 4:10and Folk Dances. Folk music, songs, and
- 4:13which state they belong to. Just that
- 4:15much. It’s not like Ghoomar is from
- 4:17Rajasthan. Second statement: you have
- 4:19to take 27 spins in Ghoomar. Not that
- 4:21much depth. Ghoomar: Rajasthan. Okay?
- 4:24Moving on. Next topic: Fairs and
- 4:27Festivals, state-wise heritage and
- 4:29monuments, and UNESCO World Heritage
- 4:32Sites that are in India. Look, let me
- 4:36tell you something: Census, UNESCO
- 4:38sites, and Sports. If DSSSB had three
- 4:42kisses to give, one would go to
- 4:44Heritage, one to Census, and one to
- 4:47Sports. These are such favorite topics
- 4:50of Static GK. Temples and Architecture:
- 4:53Nagara style temples, Vesara style
- 4:55temples, Dravidian style temples, and
- 4:57their locations. Which king built them?
- 5:00I will teach you just enough; no one
- 5:03else will. Space and Research is a new
- 5:05topic that has emerged these days.
- 5:06ISRO's history and where its
- 5:08headquarters are located. And key
- 5:09research and one or two topics that are
- 5:11currently trending, like space-related
- 5:13topics and sports terminology, which I
- 5:15mentioned. A stellar performance, so
- 5:18who wins the trophy? Which cup belongs
- 5:22to which sport? What is the name of the
- 5:24trophy? How many players are there? The
- 5:26length and breadth of the court, the
- 5:28ground measurements, everything. And
- 5:30the Commonwealth Games were held
- 5:31recently. So, questions will arise from
- 5:33here; I will bring a special video for
- 5:35you on that. And from static GK, every
- 5:37time three to four lovely, direct
- 5:39questions come. If you have studied
- 5:42these four to five topics, then those
- 5:44three marks are guaranteed. And simple
- 5:47questions come, like match the
- 5:48following. They will ask about direct
- 5:50facts, like the style of a dance or the
- 5:52state it belongs to. Now let’s look
- 5:54at the current affairs topics. Now
- 5:55comes the matter of current affairs.
- 5:57Sir, something or other happens every
- 5:58day in current affairs. What should I
- 6:00read? Read this: appointments, whose?
- 6:03Central, Delhi's, and a little bit of
- 6:05international too. Key means major
- 6:08indices and rankings. Like a new Hunger
- 6:12Index came out or the Passport Index.
- 6:15Whose? Check India's rank and the top
- 6:18three. Sports, I already told you about
- 6:20sports; they are important in static GK
- 6:22and also in current affairs. Check the
- 6:24schemes. Major central government
- 6:26schemes and Delhi's schemes. Why
- 6:28Delhi's? Because it's a Delhi exam, and
- 6:32important days and themes, like what
- 6:34was the theme of the census? Our Census
- 6:38, Our Future—that's it. Similarly,
- 6:41themes for different things, national
- 6:43and global awards, Bharat Ratna, Padma
- 6:46awards, Sahitya Akademi, Nobel Prize,
- 6:48very important, and Oscars too. Sir,
- 6:51how many months of current affairs
- 6:53should I look at? Brother, look at the
- 6:55whole of 2025 and 2026 as much as it
- 6:58has gone by. Isn't that too much?
- 7:00Brother, keep your focus on what?
- 7:02Appointments, sports, Delhi government
- 7:04initiatives, central schemes, and what
- 7:06I have told you. Sir, where will I find
- 7:08them? You will find them on this very
- 7:10channel. I will bring the video very
- 7:12soon, in just a few days. Sir, I've
- 7:15made Math, Reasoning, English, and
- 7:17Hindi, these four subjects, really fun.
- 7:21I get about 77 to 78 in Paper 1. And my
- 7:24own subject has also become very strong
- 7:27. But do you know one thing? There are
- 7:29very few vacancies in my subject, so
- 7:32make me a topper. So, how will you make
- 7:34me a topper? 10 marks won't be enough
- 7:36to get by. Get me 15 in GK. Come on,
- 7:38let's get you there. Let me show you
- 7:40the hard-work section. Economics,
- 7:42Geography, General Science, and Modern
- 7:45and Medieval History. And a little bit
- 7:48of Ancient History as per taste. Just
- 7:51study these four more topics. First of
- 7:53all, Economics, taxation structure.
- 7:56Which are the direct taxes? Which are
- 7:57the indirect ones? Not just these
- 7:59details, but which was the GST
- 8:01amendment act? What was the
- 8:02architecture? How many members are
- 8:04there? And who are the members in the
- 8:06council? Who are not? Was it created by
- 8:09the Center or the State? Which state
- 8:11created it first? Basic things like
- 8:14macroeconomics, GDP, GNP, NNP, national
- 8:16income; just half a page of notes. Just
- 8:20half a page for this topic, and if a
- 8:22question comes, you will breeze through
- 8:24it in less than 5 seconds. Monetary
- 8:26policy. What is monetary? Money. Policy
- 8:28of money. RBI makes it. RBI tools, repo
- 8:32rate, reverse repo rate, CRR, SLR.
- 8:35Brother, this is my absolute favorite
- 8:38topic. In just one, two, three, four
- 8:40videos, you will be dancing through the
- 8:42entire economics. What is there in
- 8:44planning and bodies? Five-year plans
- 8:46and NITI Aayog. Because five-year plans
- 8:48were discontinued. After that, Modi
- 8:50came. He said, "My government, my
- 8:52policy." So he created NITI Aayog. What
- 8:54can we do? Then let's talk about
- 8:57Geography. The first topic is the
- 8:59drainage system. Our rivers, Himalayan
- 9:01and Peninsular, their tributaries, and
- 9:04which dams are built on them? Which
- 9:07multipurpose projects are built? Basic
- 9:09things to remember. And how to memorize
- 9:13these? No. I will tell you such lovely
- 9:15tricks that you will have fun. Physical
- 9:17features: mountain ranges, passes,
- 9:19peaks, mountain passes. They call them
- 9:22passes, plateaus, coastal plains, where
- 9:24are they? Look here, one second. This
- 9:28is Gujarat, I drew it; what is the name
- 9:30of this coast? What is the name of this
- 9:32one? What is the name of this one?
- 9:33Which ports are on them? Everything;
- 9:36Agriculture and Climate, direct
- 9:37questions come from here. They give
- 9:39gram, chickpeas, lentils, wheat, rice;
- 9:42which crop belongs to which category?
- 9:44Match the following, Rabi, Kharif, Zaid
- 9:47. What is Zaid? Like cucumbers, right?
- 9:49Crops like cucumbers go into Zaid. In
- 9:51between, soil distribution: alluvial
- 9:53soil is in the Gangetic plains. Red is
- 9:56here. Black soil is in the Maharashtra
- 9:58and Gujarat region. And monsoon
- 10:00patterns, where does it rain? In Tamil
- 10:02Nadu, brother, it rains during
- 10:04October-September. This is called the
- 10:06retreating monsoon. I will teach you
- 10:08all this in such a lovely way. You will
- 10:10never forget. Minerals and energy,
- 10:12where are the major mineral reserves
- 10:14found? And industrial hubs, that's it.
- 10:16Geography is finished too. General
- 10:18Science. General science includes
- 10:19biology. So, what is in biology? Human
- 10:22diseases caused by viruses, bacteria,
- 10:23protozoa, their symptoms, and how they
- 10:25are transmitted? And their vaccines,
- 10:28and any Nobel prizes received for
- 10:30discoveries related to those vaccines
- 10:32—that kind of brief information.
- 10:36Nutrition, vitamins, their chemical
- 10:38names, deficiency diseases, minerals.
- 10:40In vitamins, for example, look: Vitamin
- 10:43K, E, D, A—what does it spell? KEDA (
- 10:45worm). And where do worms go? In the
- 10:48ear. And how do you get rid of an
- 10:50earworm? By putting in warm oil. What
- 10:53is in oil? Fat. So, these are the four
- 10:56fat-soluble vitamins. Simple scientific
- 10:59instruments: barometer, I'll measure
- 11:01pressure. Thermometer, I'll measure
- 11:03temperature. Anemometer, I'll measure
- 11:05wind speed. Ammeter, I'll measure
- 11:08current. Like this, and let me erase
- 11:11this once so I can show the next topic.
- 11:13And everyday physics and chemistry:
- 11:15tell the SI units. Tell the common
- 11:18chemical compounds. What is NaCl? It's
- 11:21common salt, and their uses. Now comes
- 11:24history. Most important is modern
- 11:27history. Then medieval history and a
- 11:29few topics from ancient history. Let me
- 11:31tell you about the ancient ones first.
- 11:33Civilization sites: Harappan or Indus
- 11:36Valley Civilization sites like
- 11:38Mohenjo-daro, Rakhigarhi, or Banawali.
- 11:42And topics like Jainism, Buddhism,
- 11:44Mahajanapadas, and the Gupta Age. These
- 11:47are for ancient. Then for modern, the
- 11:50most important topic is the Revolt of
- 11:521857, the fight of 1857. DSSSB really
- 11:55enjoys this fight. So, what will they
- 11:58ask? Who were the leaders? Storm
- 12:00centers, meaning where was the impact
- 12:02the greatest? From that fight, from
- 12:04that revolt. What were the causes? And
- 12:07what were the consequences of those
- 12:09causes? Consequences, meaning what was
- 12:11the impact? Now let's look at the next
- 12:14topic: National Movement and the role
- 12:17of the Indian National Congress (INC).
- 12:20INC sessions, like how Gandhi presided
- 12:22over only one session. He was president
- 12:25in only one session. In which one? 1924
- 12:27, where was it held? Belgaum, Karnataka
- 12:30. This is a direct question. I didn't
- 12:32make it up. Who were their presidents?
- 12:35And what were the key resolutions
- 12:37passed there? For example, the 1907
- 12:39Surat split. Moderates and extremists
- 12:42separated. In 1916, they reunited.
- 12:45These are all DSSSB questions. I was
- 12:48just talking about major battles. DSSSB
- 12:50enjoys watching fights. The three
- 12:52battles of Panipat, Plassey of '57,
- 12:55Buxar of '64, Anglo-Mysore and
- 12:57Anglo-Maratha wars; who was from India
- 13:00in these? And who was from the British
- 13:02side? They will ask for the heads of
- 13:03the battles. They will ask about Mughal
- 13:06Empire rulers from Babur to Aurangzeb.
- 13:08Aurangzeb became ruler in 1707, tell me
- 13:11like that. What administrative changes
- 13:13were made? Which Lodi introduced Tanka
- 13:16coins? I will tell you everything, X, Y
- 13:19, Z. I will provide a very detailed
- 13:21video, exactly what is needed for DSSSB
- 13:23. What monuments were built? So these
- 13:26were your most important favorite
- 13:28topics for DSSSB. Videos for these will
- 13:30start coming from tomorrow. You will
- 13:32get notes on this Telegram channel and
- 13:35videos on YouTube, so subscribe. Jai
- 13:37Hind, Jai!
