- 0:00First, draw an S-curve. Then, add some
- 0:02width. Make these lines all parallel.
- 0:04Then, close the ribbon off by following
- 0:05the initial S-curve parallel. Here's the
- 0:07fun part. Using the structure of the
- 0:09ribbon, modify its shape by adding
- 0:11rounded, oblong, and organic shapes
- 0:13around the edges. Then, add some water
- 0:15droplets flying off the main structure.
- 0:17Water in motion is one of the hardest
- 0:19things to capture in drawing, but
- 0:20there's always a way to simplify things.
- 0:22Start with a major movement of the
- 0:23water, then add the rounded shapes of
- 0:25the liquid itself. Eventually, you can
- 0:27just make it up from your imagination as
- 0:28long as you practice drawing ribbons a
