- 0:02architecture projects course with rayon
- 0:04my name is Thomas rry I'm an
- 0:06architectural designer content creator
- 0:08an aspiring architect and I will be your
- 0:10instructor for this course the tutorial
- 0:12series will show you how to create an
- 0:14architecture project from the initial
- 0:16stages of site analysis referencing and
- 0:18inspiration to massing zoning and
- 0:21initial concept sketching all the way
- 0:23through to the final production of your
- 0:25portfolio or presentation or within
- 0:28rayon the course is built upon a real
- 0:30life scenario project built step by step
- 0:33in rayon with 12 lessons so the 12
- 0:35lessons are broken down into four
- 0:37modules module one is focused on the
- 0:39pre-design phase dissecting and
- 0:41analyzing the project brief looking at
- 0:43the local vernacular site analysis the
- 0:45immediate and wider context that will
- 0:48influence the design process module 2 is
- 0:50focused on Translating that project
- 0:51brief into a efficient design solution
- 0:55we start developing and exploring
- 0:56massing options exploring zoning and
- 0:59defining some areas that respond to the
- 1:01site conditions the site constraints and
- 1:04opportunities and working with the
- 1:06landscape in order to start finding some
- 1:08form and geometry that responds to that
- 1:11initial project brief this is a process
- 1:13of iterating a mass and some form in
- 1:15order to respond to the client
- 1:17requirements module 3 is focused on
- 1:19producing the architectural drawings
- 1:21building upon that zoning and the
- 1:22massing in order to start defining an
- 1:25actual floor plan dropping furniture and
- 1:27building layouts into the floor plans
- 1:29ele Elations and sections and finally
- 1:31module 4 will take you through the
- 1:33process of producing a final
- 1:35documentation collating all of your
- 1:37drawings implementing a graphic style
- 1:40and putting together a final
- 1:41professional presentation so who is this
- 1:43course for is probably what you're
- 1:45wondering this course is relevant for
- 1:46you at any stage of your architecture
- 1:48education whether you're literally just
- 1:49starting out in architecture and you're
- 1:51very much a beginner whether you're a
- 1:52few years in or whether you're very

- 2:04course is for you our goal is to teach
- 2:06you as many skills as possible both

- 2:13architecture education I hope to teach
- 2:15you how to turn an idea into a design
- 2:17scheme how to draft accurately quickly
- 2:20and efficiently in rayon how to level up
- 2:22the Aesthetics and communication of your
- 2:24drawings and lay out a complete document
- 2:26set and put together a professional
- 2:28presentation and all you'll need to
- 2:29start this course is an internet
- 2:31connection and a rayon account which you
