- 0:00You know how we do things around here.
- 0:01No half-assed opinions. We dive deep.
- 0:05So, we're not going to give you just
- 0:07one, two, [music] four, or six running
- 0:09backs. We want to talk about our
- 0:11predictions for every single running
- 0:14back for 2026 fantasy football.
- 0:18Headliner Nation, Jake and I want to
- 0:20dive deep and we want to talk about the
- 0:23predictions for every [music]
- 0:25single running back in the NFL this
- 0:28season for 2026 fantasy football. And
- 0:30today, we begin that journey.
- 0:33>> Yeah, absolutely. There's a lot of
- 0:35running backs to talk about, like
- 0:3690-some running backs. We wanted to do
- 0:38it in one show. It didn't work out cuz
- 0:40the video would have been 6 hours and 15
- 0:42minutes long. So, here is your part one
- 0:46of this series to go in here and really
- 0:48start breaking down every single depth
- 0:49chart at the running back position.
- 0:51>> And keep in mind, if you do not have our
- 0:532026 fantasy football draft guide as of
- 0:56yet, we do have a section in there where
- 0:58we rank the most important running back
- 1:00handcuffs for the 2026 season. So, you
- 1:03can get yours right now, tfh
- 1:06draftguide.com. There is a link in the
- 1:08description below.
- 1:10>> Yeah, and if you want one for free, go
- 1:11sign up for a new account on Underdog.
- 1:13Use the promo code Headliners, make your
- 1:14initial minimum $10 deposit, and then
- 1:16play in any contest. Best ball drafts,
- 1:19player pick'ems, it doesn't matter. And
- 1:21then I will just send you a draft guide
- 1:22for free.
- 1:23>> Ooh, absolutely. The categories that we
- 1:25will be assigning all of these running
- 1:27backs to [music] are laid out into a few
- 1:29different areas. RB1s and RB2s. Those
- 1:33top-tier players, what guys do we think
- 1:35are going to finish super high? Who are
- 1:37going to be really safe RB2s?
- 1:39>> [music]
- 1:39>> The next category will be the flex spot.
- 1:42Could be a starter for your team, maybe
- 1:45depth that rotates in and out of your
- 1:47lineup as well. Next up, those really
- 1:50important handcuffs. Guys that maybe you
- 1:53should draft now to protect your
- 1:54starter. Or maybe you should draft them
- 1:57because they could have significant
- 1:58upside if their starter ends up going
- 2:00down with an injury. The watch list. You
- 2:03should be paying attention to these guys
- 2:05a handcuff that has solid value if a
- 2:08starter is injured, but maybe you don't
- 2:11need to draft them right now. And of
- 2:13course, all of those waiver wire players
- 2:15that
- 2:16we don't care about, you can leave them
- 2:18out there. No need to even pay attention
- 2:20to them as of right now. We are going to
- 2:23kick it off in the AFC East with the
- 2:26Buffalo Bills. Hey, and one of our
- 2:28must-have running backs is going to be
- 2:30up right away. It's James Cook. We've
- 2:31got him listed as an RB1 with Ty Johnson
- 2:34and Raheem Mostert Davis listed as
- 2:36waivers.
- 2:37>> Yeah, and that's the thing when you're
- 2:38looking at the backfield of of Buffalo.
- 2:41It is James Cook. Now, honestly, I love
- 2:44the opportunity potentially for a Ty
- 2:47Johnson or Raheem Mostert Davis if
- 2:48something happens, but it's not going to
- 2:50be like a one-for-one swap. It's going
- 2:52to turn into a committee-style
- 2:53backfield, so there really is no reason
- 2:55to roster one of these guys if you have
- 2:58James Cook. Obviously, we love ourselves
- 3:00some James Cook. Like you mentioned,
- 3:02he's one of our must-have guys here this
- 3:03year. Ty Johnson could see a couple
- 3:07receptions a game. Last year, he was
- 3:08averaging right around two receptions a
- 3:10game. Raheem Mostert Davis not utilized
- 3:13that much as long as James Cook is going
- 3:14to be healthy.
- 3:15>> And that's going to be important to note
- 3:16throughout this video that sometimes
- 3:19we're going to have guys listed as a
- 3:20handcuff or a watch list because we
- 3:22think that if the starter were to go
- 3:25down, then maybe it's not nearly as much
- 3:27of a committee. Maybe we're looking at
- 3:29like a 60-40 split. Whereas this,
- 3:32they're waivers for both of these guys
- 3:33because we're looking at more of a 50-50
- 3:36split if James Cook were to miss time.
- 3:38Staying in that division, moving on to
- 3:40the Dolphins, Devon Achane we have
- 3:42listed as an RB1, Ali Gordon as waivers
- 3:46with Jaylen Wright as a watch list
- 3:48because Jaylen Wright mostly resembles
- 3:51what Devon Devon Achane would do.
- 3:54>> Yeah, and I know there's been reports
- 3:55that have come out lately that they're
- 3:56saying Ali Gordon could be a three-down
- 3:58back. Of course, they want these guys to
- 4:00be. Every Every head coach in the NFL
- 4:03wants to have like three three-down
- 4:05backs on their roster. Does that mean
- 4:06it's actually going to translate?
- 4:08Probably not. If something were to
- 4:10happen to Achane,
- 4:12probably not one of those one-for-one
- 4:14swaps, either. There is a lot of concern
- 4:16surrounding Devon Achane all this off
- 4:17season. It's a player we'll probably
- 4:18dive into a little bit more here in the
- 4:20coming weeks cuz nobody knows what to do
- 4:22with him. It's not a talent issue. It's
- 4:24What is he going to be this year in a
- 4:26brand new offense, a lack of weapons, a
- 4:29new quarterback. Can we expect the same
- 4:31old thing? We have him a little bit
- 4:33lower than in years past, but still an
- 4:35RB1.
- 4:36>> Moving on to the Patriots, maybe one of
- 4:38the most debated backfields this off
- 4:41season, and that's because Rhamondre
- 4:42Stevenson and Treyvion Henderson both
- 4:45have fantasy value. Now, they're going
- 4:47to vulture each other a little bit, so
- 4:49we both have them listed in the flex
- 4:51category with Land Lairson in the RB3
- 4:55being on waivers. Now, if something were
- 4:56to happen to either running back, we
- 4:59could easily see these guys being
- 5:00high-end RB2s, maybe a little weekly RB1
- 5:04upside baked in throughout the season,
- 5:05as well. But when they are together, you
- 5:08can probably utilize both of them.
- 5:11>> I mean, you got to be a master debater
- 5:13to go out there and try to figure out
- 5:14which one of these guys is the guy to
- 5:16have to start the year. Obviously, the
- 5:18hype surrounds Treyvion Henderson. The
- 5:20production supports Rhamondre Stevenson.
- 5:23And that's where it really gets
- 5:24confusing is because you want both of
- 5:26them to succeed. Hopefully, when you
- 5:28have your draft, you are not reliant on
- 5:31either one of them as somebody that you
- 5:32have to start week one. Hopefully, we
- 5:35get a little bit of time. Hopefully, you
- 5:36have a little bit of depth. But yes, to
- 5:38start off the season, flex plays at best
- 5:41until we really see what that split is
- 5:43going to look like. As far as Land
- 5:44Lairson is concerned, I don't even know
- 5:46if I've heard that name before, Kyle, so
- 5:48I'm not too concerned about him.
- 5:50>> You know what? For the job that I have,
- 5:53I do consider myself a master debater,
- 5:56but I'm not really a fisherman, so I'm
- 5:57certainly not a masterbater. Moving on
- 6:00to the Jets, Breece Hall we have listed
- 6:02as an RB2.
- 6:05While Braelon
- 6:06While Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis,
- 6:09we've got Braelon Allen as a watch list.
- 6:12Some really good things.
- 6:12>> [laughter]
- 6:15>> I don't even know if I can cut I think I
- 6:17stopped listening to you like 30 seconds
- 6:19ago.
- 6:20>> For the Jets, oh man, I debated just
- 6:22stopping so that I could be cut out, but
- 6:24we're just going to keep it rolling
- 6:25because that's what we do around here.
- 6:28For the Jets, Breece Hall we've got
- 6:30listed as an RB2. If he was with a
- 6:32better team, maybe he would be an RB1,
- 6:35but we still think he has some decent
- 6:36floor. Braelon Allen is going to be a
- 6:38watch list player for us. He's looking
- 6:40really good in training camp right now.
- 6:42Isaiah Davis on the waivers.
- 6:45>> Yeah, Breece Hall I feel is like a a
- 6:47wasted talent there with the Jets. It's
- 6:49not a Breece Hall issue. It's a the Jets
- 6:51can't find leads and really rely on the
- 6:53running game type issue. Plus, Braelon
- 6:56Allen
- 6:57he is a solid backup. I mean, he is not
- 7:01somebody where they take a big hit when
- 7:02he comes into the game. He is very
- 7:04underrated. He is definitely somebody to
- 7:06pay attention to. I know he's coming off
- 7:07of an injury as well. Hopefully, Breece
- 7:09Hall can at least give us those top 15
- 7:12to 18 weeks in a bad offense once again.
- 7:15>> And the AFC North starting with the
- 7:17Ravens, obviously King Derrick Henry.
- 7:20Now, we have him listed as an RB2. Do we
- 7:22think he can be an RB1? Absolutely, but
- 7:24we've talked this year about how even if
- 7:27the upside isn't as good in the past,
- 7:29the floor is still going to be really
- 7:31solid, and that's why I have him listed
- 7:32as an RB2 and not an RB1. Not because we
- 7:35don't necessarily think that he can't
- 7:36get there. For Justice Hill and Adam
- 7:39Randall, though, we're going to list
- 7:40both of them as a watch list. Obviously,
- 7:43if something were to happen to Derrick
- 7:44Henry, someone is probably going to have
- 7:46to take over. If Justice Hill hadn't
- 7:49received the passing game work that he
- 7:51had in the past, we would probably list
- 7:53him as just waivers. But, if something
- 7:55were to happen to Henry, both of these
- 7:57guys could actually have a little bit of
- 7:59value. Hill maybe more than Randall.
- 8:02>> Yeah, and
- 8:03here's the thing, a lot of people may
- 8:04not even know who Adam Randall is. Adam
- 8:06Randall is who I would consider one of
- 8:08those spicy fantasy nuggets as a name to
- 8:11just pay attention to because he's his
- 8:13running style, I can't say he's Derrick
- 8:16Henry 2.0. I think that there's only one
- 8:18Derrick Henry. But, he is oddly similar
- 8:21in a bunch of different aspects, a power
- 8:23runner, and if they wanted to just
- 8:25insert him if Derrick Henry were to go
- 8:27down, he may not get the full workload.
- 8:29Justice Hill is going to be involved a
- 8:30little bit more, but he is definitely
- 8:32somebody that in this offense
- 8:34could find some success just due to the
- 8:36similar running styles of Derrick Henry.
- 8:38Henry is probably somebody I'm still
- 8:40higher on than a lot of people. Maybe
- 8:41it's cuz we got that old dude thing in
- 8:42common. You know what I mean? Like we're
- 8:44just like we're connecting as old dudes
- 8:46um because he's got a lot of mileage on
- 8:48him, and so do I. So, Derrick Henry, I
- 8:50still think he's verge RB and RB1
- 8:53territory, top 10 to 12 on the season.
- 8:55But, like you said, if you're looking
- 8:56for the safety, RB2 at worst for Derrick
- 8:59Henry.
- 9:00>> For the Cleveland Browns, Dontrell
- 9:01Hilliard [clears throat] is one of our
- 9:02favorite values so far this season. And
- 9:06depending on what happens over the
- 9:08course of the next few weeks as we get
- 9:09closer to the beginning of the year,
- 9:11maybe his ADP starts to rise a little
- 9:13bit. But, right now, he's still going in
- 9:16a great spot. And we think that he has
- 9:18the ability to be a solid RB2 this
- 9:21season. I went back and forth on whether
- 9:23he'd be an RB2 or a flex. But, I believe
- 9:26if you're drafting Hilliard, you believe
- 9:28in him enough that he would be an RB2 on
- 9:31your team. I've got Dylan Sampson on the
- 9:33watch list because we did see him give
- 9:35some really solid passing game value and
- 9:38as of right now, it looks like Shedur
- 9:41Sanders is the leader to be the starter
- 9:44for the Cleveland Browns come week one.
- 9:46That would be great for Dylan Sampson,
- 9:49Raheem Sanders. We have him on waivers.
- 9:51>> Yeah, not interested in Raheem Sanders.
- 9:53I think I am probably one of those
- 9:55Quinshon Judkins truthers out there.
- 9:57Coming off the injury, he looks still he
- 9:58still looks explosive. He looks great in
- 10:01camp. He looks quick.
- 10:03And we broke it down in a video a couple
- 10:04weeks ago, Kyle, where
- 10:06where he's going in drafts as like verge
- 10:08RB 20 area, what he needs to do to
- 10:11return draft value is so attainable that
- 10:15we're not going into the season just
- 10:16overly relying on him having some
- 10:18massive season. If he goes out there and
- 10:20gets anywhere near like 1,200 yards,
- 10:22we're going to be in good shape and
- 10:23that's not a huge ask cuz he will still
- 10:26be involved at times in the passing
- 10:28game. Maybe not as much as a Dylan
- 10:29Sampson, but still somebody we can rely
- 10:32upon. The biggest question mark when it
- 10:33comes to Quinshon Judkins, can he get
- 10:36touchdown opportunities in the Cleveland
- 10:38offense? If Shedur can move the ball or
- 10:40if it's Watson down the field through
- 10:42the air at all, I'm talking any type of
- 10:44success through the air,
- 10:46Quinshon Judkins is going to end up
- 10:48eating this year.
- 10:50>> For the Steelers, Jaylen Warren, Rico
- 10:52Dowdle both listed as flex. I would say
- 10:55this is another highly debated backfield
- 10:58this year just because we don't really
- 11:00know who the starter's going to be. Does
- 11:02does Jaylen Warren deserve it?
- 11:04Absolutely. We have talked about how
- 11:07insanely efficient this guy was last
- 11:10year and how great of a value that he
- 11:12could end up being this year for your
- 11:13team, but we also know that Mike
- 11:16McCarthy brought in his former boo thing
- 11:18from the Dallas Cowboys, Rico Dowdle. We
- 11:21know that these two are probably going
- 11:23to eat away at each other's volume.
- 11:25Don't love to see that. Have them both
- 11:28listed as flex options right now, but
- 11:31Caleb Johnson, who was a higher draft
- 11:33pick last season, we're going to keep
- 11:34him on the watch list just in case
- 11:36something were to happen. I am not a
- 11:38Caleb Johnson truther or believer, but
- 11:41you never know.
- 11:42>> Yeah, you never know. And this is like
- 11:45really similar to the Patriots, right?
- 11:47Like we just don't know. We like both
- 11:48options. We just don't know which one
- 11:50it's going to be. And
- 11:53I have a feeling we're going to find out
- 11:55fairly quick. I we're going to see how
- 11:57how soon into the season does Rico
- 11:58Dowdle really get close to a 50% role.
- 12:02We know that Rodgers is familiar and
- 12:04used to Jaylen Warren back there.
- 12:07It's going to be interesting. But yeah,
- 12:08as a flex play, it's probably about as
- 12:10high as I would go. Now, I think that
- 12:12Jaylen Warren probably has a slightly
- 12:15higher upside than Rico Dowdle in this
- 12:18offense, but it's all going to come down
- 12:20to Mike McCarthy and how much does he
- 12:22want to use the former running back that
- 12:24he had when he was with the Dallas
- 12:25Cowboys. So yes, flex play is probably
- 12:28the safe play all season long as long as
- 12:31these two are both healthy.
- 12:33>> Now, to finish off the AFC North, we've
- 12:36got the Cincinnati Bengals. Chase Brown,
- 12:39RB1. We've talked about how good he
- 12:42could end up being this season, the
- 12:44ability to put together a lot of volume
- 12:46on the ground paired with a lot of
- 12:48volume through the air. We have him
- 12:49listed as an RB1. But Samaje Perine and
- 12:52Taj Brooks, we have them both listed as
- 12:54waivers. We've talked about one of the
- 12:56reasons that we love Chase Brown is
- 12:58because of just the lack of competition
- 13:00behind him, the lack of guys that could
- 13:02take significant touches away.
- 13:05>> Yeah, there's no reason to to get the
- 13:07handcuff for Chase Brown in Cincinnati
- 13:09because it would be a a cluster, if you
- 13:11know what I'm talking about, with Samaje
- 13:12Perine and Taj Brooks if he were to go
- 13:14down. Chase Brown's ability to rack up
- 13:17receptions in one of the league's most
- 13:19explosive offenses, on an offense in
- 13:22which, you know, Jamarr Chase and Tee
- 13:24Higgins are pulling defenders outside of
- 13:25box every single snap, That's why Chase
- 13:28Brown is finding so much success and
- 13:30nothing has really changed in the
- 13:31negative to make you expect anything
- 13:34else. The biggest knock on Chase Brown
- 13:35is his slow starts the last couple of
- 13:37years. Two years ago, it's because he
- 13:39was earning the job. Don't forget that.
- 13:41It's not like he just had a slow start.
- 13:43He had to work his way up into a role.
- 13:45He got it. He didn't let it go. Last
- 13:47year, some of that had to do with the
- 13:48injuries to Joe Burrow. Joe Flacco is
- 13:50already in town. He already understands
- 13:52the offense. So, if something were to
- 13:53happen to Burrow, I think things pick up
- 13:55and like we see what we saw from Chase
- 13:57Brown at the end of last year, which was
- 13:59almost league winning.
- 14:00>> We're moving on to the AFC South
- 14:02starting with the Houston Texans. New
- 14:05face on the team, David Montgomery,
- 14:07expected to be the RB1 as of right now.
- 14:10We've talked about how much we like him
- 14:12as a really solid depth piece, like a
- 14:14guy that you can draft as your flex
- 14:16option this season. But, we think that
- 14:18he has the floor of an RB2 as well,
- 14:22giving you a really solid depth piece a
- 14:24little bit later on in drafts. But, I am
- 14:26going to list Woody Marks as a handcuff.
- 14:28Now, do you need to handcuff David
- 14:30Montgomery? You don't have to. But, if
- 14:32you have some deeper benches, I probably
- 14:35would recommend it as of right now
- 14:37because there is talk that Woody Marks
- 14:39could see some work in the passing game.
- 14:41And until we know for sure, just because
- 14:44we know the NFL can be a little bit of a
- 14:45crazy place, if you have the option to
- 14:48add that piece behind David Montgomery,
- 14:50it might not be the worst thing in the
- 14:51world. Now, if you don't draft David
- 14:53Montgomery, I'm probably not drafting
- 14:54Woody Marks later. So, you can probably
- 14:56forget about that. But, Juwan Johnson,
- 14:58who is the RB3 as of right now, we'll
- 15:00leave him on waivers.
- 15:01>> Yeah, and I kind of I'm one of those
- 15:02guys Kyle that looks at the X factor of
- 15:04things like a lot. And David Montgomery
- 15:07to me, I feel like has that chip on his
- 15:09shoulder to prove that he can be a lead
- 15:13back, a top running back once again in
- 15:15the NFL and that he doesn't need a a 1B
- 15:18there with him like he has had with
- 15:19Jahmyr Gibbs. I feel like he's going to
- 15:21come out, he's going to run hard, and
- 15:22people are going to be surprised with
- 15:23the production they see from David
- 15:25Montgomery.
- 15:26>> Yeah, moving on to the Indianapolis
- 15:27Colts, Jonathan Taylor. Obviously, he's
- 15:29the guy that has top five running back
- 15:31potential. He's being drafted in the
- 15:33middle to the beginning of the first
- 15:35round. We've got him listed as an RB1.
- 15:37DJ Giddens, we did a video on running
- 15:40back handcuffs that we have no interest
- 15:42in drafting. If you've missed that
- 15:44video, make sure you go check it out.
- 15:45We'll link it down the description
- 15:46below. But for DJ Giddens, we are not
- 15:49drafting him. But we will keep him on
- 15:51the watch list because if you spend a
- 15:53really high pick on Jonathan Taylor, you
- 15:56may just want to keep an eye on who that
- 15:58backup is going to be. Seth McGowan is
- 16:00the RB3 is on waivers still.
- 16:03>> Yeah, no surprise there with Jonathan
- 16:04Taylor. It's kind of what you expect
- 16:06every single year. Giddens is definitely
- 16:08somebody just to pay attention to. I am
- 16:10not making it an absolute must to draft
- 16:13either one of these guys behind Jonathan
- 16:14Taylor if I take him early. If it falls
- 16:16that way, I have deeper benches, sure,
- 16:19maybe. I'm not going to go out of my way
- 16:21to do so because of what you just said.
- 16:23Like, we really broke it down like in
- 16:24depth in that video. And if you if you
- 16:25want to go back to the channel and check
- 16:27it out, you can find out the running
- 16:28backs that we have no interest in
- 16:29drafting. And that's that's one of them.
- 16:30And that's for the reason that even if
- 16:33JT goes down, it's probably going to be
- 16:34a split once again. So,
- 16:36I I'm not going to even worry about it
- 16:38if there's no Jonathan Taylor.
- 16:40>> For the Jacksonville Jaguars, Ryquell
- 16:42Toin. Breakout candidate for a lot of
- 16:44people this season. We are not as
- 16:47bullish on him. We do think it's a good
- 16:49opportunity. However, we know that that
- 16:52Jacksonville schedule to begin the
- 16:54season could be really tough. And Chris
- 16:56Rodriguez, who we have listed as a
- 16:58handcuff here, could end up eating into
- 17:00some of that workload. Laquon Allen Jr.,
- 17:03the RB3 we have on waivers. For Toin,
- 17:06only have him listed as a flex right
- 17:08now.
- 17:09>> And that kind of fits for where he's
- 17:10going in drafts. So, it's not like
- 17:12that's crazy. I think what a lot of
- 17:14people see is they see that Travis
- 17:15Etienne is gone, and that Byard Toin
- 17:18that role, which he for the most part
- 17:21is. Now, obviously, we've seen a little
- 17:24bit of him last year, not a huge,
- 17:26you know, sample size from him, but what
- 17:27really concerns me the most about Byard
- 17:29and really the Jaguars
- 17:31as a whole is the schedule for them to
- 17:33start the season. The first eight weeks
- 17:35of the year is
- 17:36super tough. And I can see them really
- 17:39relying on their explosive passing game
- 17:42more so than the running game to start
- 17:44the year. Not saying he's not going to
- 17:46be used. I just don't know if he goes
- 17:48past that flex opportunity. When I'm
- 17:50looking at Byard, I really immediately
- 17:51go to I really immediately go to
- 17:53somebody hopefully I can buy low after
- 17:55the first month or so of the season, and
- 17:57then utilize the second half of the
- 17:59year. As for Chris Rodriguez, I think
- 18:02he's involved as well. I think he sees a
- 18:03large workload if somebody goes down to
- 18:05Byard as long as he's 100% healthy. Like
- 18:07you said, keep him on waivers. No no
- 18:07need to roster him at this time.
- 18:11>> For the Tennessee Titans, we talked
- 18:12about Tony Pollard in a couple of videos
- 18:14this offseason. Have him listed as a
- 18:16flex option. Decent floor ceiling is
- 18:19probably not there, but you never know
- 18:21if Cam Ward takes another step forward,
- 18:23if the addition of Carnell Tate in the
- 18:25passing game really helps open a lot of
- 18:27things up. Maybe Tony Pollard we see a
- 18:29little bit of that ceiling that he used
- 18:31to have. Tajae Spears, again, one of
- 18:33those guys we have absolutely no
- 18:35interest in drafting. And one of the
- 18:37reasons why is because we do believe
- 18:39Nicholas Singleton, even though he could
- 18:41be a better option in 2027,
- 18:44he might not take away anything from
- 18:45Tony Pollard this year, but he could
- 18:47absolutely unseat Tajae Spears as the
- 18:49RB2.
- 18:50>> For sure. And if the Titans come out
- 18:52this year and there's an injury or
- 18:54whatever and they're not going to
- 18:55compete, I could see them wanting to see
- 18:57what they have in the younger running
- 18:59back in Singleton. Tony Pollard,
- 19:01probably he's like vanilla ice cream,
- 19:03Kyle. Like he's probably not going to go
- 19:05out there and win you a ton of things,
- 19:06but he's probably not going to be a bad
- 19:07option for your team, either. He's going
- 19:09to finish top 24. Flex play is great for
- 19:12the most part. Um, he's not somebody
- 19:14that you want to really rely on to be
- 19:16one of your starting top two running
- 19:18backs. Make sure if you go into the
- 19:20season with Tony Pollard as somebody
- 19:22that you have to start that it's the
- 19:24flex play and nothing and nothing more.
- 19:26>> Yeah, Tony Pollard is like you take the
- 19:28kids to Dairy Queen and you don't really
- 19:30want [music] like a Sunday or something
- 19:32big and heavy. Maybe you're a little bit
- 19:33more full than the kids at that point.
- 19:35So you just get a small vanilla cone. It
- 19:37just hits the spot.
- 19:39>> that?
- 19:39>> And the AFC West for the Denver Broncos,
- 19:42another highly debated backfield here.
- 19:45JK Dobbins was brought back for another
- 19:47year. RJ Harvey, he scored a ton of
- 19:50touchdowns last season. And then they
- 19:52drafted Jonah Coleman as well. We're
- 19:54going to list Dobbins and Harvey as flex
- 19:57options right now, but Coleman should be
- 19:59on your watch list.
- 20:01>> 100% 100% for sure. I mean, Jonah
- 20:03Coleman is going to have a much larger
- 20:04role next year, right? But JK Dobbins is
- 20:09probably one of the most underrated
- 20:10running backs in fantasy football
- 20:12because when he's on the field, which I
- 20:14know he misses a lot of time, but when
- 20:16he's out there, he has been one of the
- 20:18most consistent running backs in fantasy
- 20:20averaging right around 11 fantasy points
- 20:22per game for multiple years now. We just
- 20:24need to keep him on the field. RJ Harvey
- 20:27earned a little bit more of a role this
- 20:29year. Maybe they utilize him a little
- 20:30bit more early on to keep JK Dobbins
- 20:32fresh. But if Here's the the beauty of
- 20:34it. If either one of these guys go down,
- 20:37Jonah Coleman I believe can fill that
- 20:39role and have a role right away. Is it
- 20:42going to be one that you all of a sudden
- 20:43want to throw up into the the top of
- 20:45your lineup? No, probably not, but he is
- 20:48somebody who has definitely got the
- 20:49skill set to be usable if there's an
- 20:52injury in this backfield.
- 20:54>> Moving on to the Kansas City Chiefs,
- 20:56Kenneth Walker, got him listed as an
- 20:58RB1. You could argue that he should be
- 21:00an RB2 instead and I would totally get
- 21:02that. I think we can all agree that if
- 21:04he were to stay healthy, his upside
- 21:06though is inside the top 12 running
- 21:08backs, so we'll put him at RB1. Emari
- 21:11Demercado, Breashaad Smith, we have both
- 21:13of them listed as waivers right now.
- 21:16If something were to happen to Kenneth
- 21:17Walker, which we absolutely know could
- 21:20end up happening, it's probably going to
- 21:22be a little bit of of a mess in the
- 21:24backfield because Emitt Johnson, who
- 21:26they just spent a fifth-round pick on,
- 21:28he is another guy that could end up
- 21:30seeing time as well. So, if anything
- 21:32happens to Kenneth Walker, it's probably
- 21:33going to be a hodgepodge behind him.
- 21:36>> 100%. And honestly, I have zero interest
- 21:38in Emari Demercado and Breashaad Smith.
- 21:40Emitt Johnson, I do love the prospect of
- 21:43Emitt Johnson. Now, can he leapfrog
- 21:45these two guys? Potentially.
- 21:48Uh hoping that Kenneth Walker can stay
- 21:49healthy cuz obviously the upside there
- 21:51with Eric Bieniemy as his offensive
- 21:52coordinator is top 12 at the position.
- 21:56Aside from that though, more than
- 21:57likely, unless you have deep rosters
- 21:59once again, I'm not taking a stab on any
- 22:01of these guys or if I am, I would almost
- 22:04rather take a stab at Emitt Johnson as
- 22:06like a free last-round pick and just to
- 22:08see what happens. If nothing happens,
- 22:10you can drop him and you really didn't
- 22:11invest anything.
- 22:12>> For the Raiders,
- 22:15Ashton Jeanty, another guy that you
- 22:17could argue RB1, RB2. I listed him as
- 22:20RB2. I know if Jake were to put these
- 22:22notes in here, he would probably list
- 22:24him as RB1. And again, one that I
- 22:26probably would not disagree with. So, if
- 22:28you'd like to put him as RB1, I'm
- 22:30totally on board with that because we
- 22:32know he has that potential.
- 22:34We just don't like the Raiders offense
- 22:36as much as we like the Chiefs offense.
- 22:38That's why Walker was RB1 and Ashton
- 22:40Jeanty was listed as RB2. Mike
- 22:42Washington, a big-time playmaker in
- 22:44college, keep him on your watch list if
- 22:46you own Ashton Jeanty. Wouldn't
- 22:47necessarily draft him right now though.
- 22:50And Dylan Lobbe is on waivers.
- 22:53>> Yeah, I mean, more so it's the the
- 22:56change in head coach to Clint Kubiak and
- 22:58how yes, he has utilized a two-back
- 23:01system the majority of his career. So,
- 23:03many people are like, "No, he hasn't. He
- 23:04never did it. It was just Kamar." Like,
- 23:06just go back and just research some
- 23:08stats before you leave those types of
- 23:09comments cuz he has done it for multiple
- 23:11years. Nothing again against Ashton
- 23:13Jeanty, but can he score the touchdowns
- 23:16in a below-average offense? And what is
- 23:19the split in the backfield like? Those
- 23:20are my only two questions with Ashton
- 23:22Jeanty. It's not a skill or a talent
- 23:24issue. I do believe he's going to be
- 23:25right there verge RB1 RB2 somewhere in
- 23:28that RB 10 11 12 13 14 range or so come
- 23:32end of season.
- 23:33Uh love the potential of Ashton Jeanty.
- 23:35I'm just not quite sold on the offense
- 23:38in Las Vegas just yet, even though it
- 23:39will be better than last year.
- 23:41>> For the Los Angeles Chargers, if you see
- 23:44Jake and I out in public, do not start
- 23:47talking to us about the potential for
- 23:49this Chargers offense
- 23:51because it could get really embarrassing
- 23:53really really quick. We would not be
- 23:54able to contain our excitement. Omari on
- 23:56Hampton list him as an RB1. We think
- 23:58this is a guy that could be locked into
- 24:00the top 12 with top five upside with
- 24:03Mike McDaniel's running the offense now.
- 24:06Keeton Mitchell, I am going to list him
- 24:07as a handcuff. I do think that he is a
- 24:09guy that is going late enough that you
- 24:11if you have enough room, it wouldn't
- 24:13hurt to grab him up at the beginning of
- 24:15the season, see how things shake out,
- 24:17how they plan on utilizing him, and then
- 24:20because you spent such a late round pick
- 24:22on him, you could really toss him back
- 24:23to waivers if nothing materializes and
- 24:25he's not used as much as what you think
- 24:27he might be. Zamani Vidal, yeah, he's
- 24:30filled in well in the past, but he'll be
- 24:32on waivers for now.
- 24:33>> Yeah, I I see a lot of people saying,
- 24:34"Aren't we worried about Keeton Mitchell
- 24:36with Omari on Hampton?" And as much as I
- 24:38like Keeton Mitchell and how he fits
- 24:39this style of offense, we're still
- 24:41talking about a guy who's never played a
- 24:43full season and has never had more than
- 24:4470 touches in a season, either. So, like
- 24:47there's a lot of unknown there still.
- 24:48He's going to be involved. He's going to
- 24:50have a role. If Omari on Hampton goes
- 24:53down, I think the role increases enough
- 24:55to make him fantasy viable to be a
- 24:57handcuff, but it will not just be Keeton
- 24:59Mitchell. More than likely that's when
- 25:01Kamani Vidal would have a little bit of
- 25:03a role, too, as well. We've seen that in
- 25:05the past just last year. Keeton
- 25:07Mitchell, the more explosive guy, that
- 25:09could probably get you a little bit
- 25:10higher of a ceiling on a week-to-week
- 25:11basis.
- 25:12>> Hello RotoBaller Nation. Like I said at
- 25:13the beginning, no half-assed opinions
- 25:16here. So, this video did end up going a
- 25:18little bit longer than we anticipated.
- 25:20So, we are going to make a part two
- 25:22instead where we cover all of the NFC
- 25:26depth charts. Now, when you're watching
- 25:28this video, that video may not be out as
- 25:30of yet. We are going to put them both
- 25:32out on the same day. So, if you're
- 25:34watching right away, make sure you have
- 25:36your notifications on and you're ready
- 25:37to catch that video [music] as soon as
- 25:39it drops. If you're watching this and
- 25:41that video is already out, it will be
- 25:43linked in the description down below, as
- 25:45well, with the rest of the timestamps
- 25:47for everything [music] else in this
- 25:49video. But, for now, Jake, let's go
- 25:51ahead and get out of here and get ready
- 25:53to record part two.
- 25:54>> Listen, I'm a headliner.
