  1. 0:00Hi doctor, how are you doing today?
  2. 0:01>> Uh great. After seeing this ISV campus,
  3. 0:05I'm really woven. I'm happy to be here
  4. 0:07today.
  5. 0:08>> What is the name Dr. if I may ask?
  6. 0:10>> Uh my name is Shriant Kumar Malini.
  7. 0:13Okay.
  8. 0:13>> Professor and specialist in pediatric
  9. 0:15dentistry working in Dr. Sulleman
  10. 0:17Al-Habib Tandu Group uh in Riyad.
  11. 0:21>> Oh wow. In Riyad. That's amazing. So how
  12. 0:22many years of practice experience do you
  13. 0:24have?
  14. 0:24>> Uh 15 years.
  15. 0:25>> 15 years. That that's great doctor. So
  16. 0:28when you discovered this program, what
  17. 0:30was the challenges or problems that you
  18. 0:32were facing that led you to join the
  19. 0:33program?
  20. 0:34>> Uh I think same old story uh in
  21. 0:37dentistry even in uh undergrad
  22. 0:39curriculum or postgrad curriculum uh
  23. 0:41nobody teaches us how to practice
  24. 0:44everybody teaches us how to do treatment
  25. 0:46and how to manage patients
  26. 0:48>> right
  27. 0:48>> so I'm looking for a program where I can
  28. 0:52learn uh how to do practice. So so far I
  29. 0:57didn't do my practice by my own. I'm
  30. 0:59working for all these 15 years I'm
  31. 1:01working for someone right
  32. 1:03>> and then this program we never know
  33. 1:05maybe in future it might help me to
  34. 1:07establish myself.
  35. 1:09>> That's amazing. So I hope you have
  36. 1:11gotten the confidence after the program
  37. 1:12or you believe you have the skill set to
  38. 1:14actually start something.
  39. 1:16>> Thousand% thousand%. Not only for myself
  40. 1:19to uh do the practice in dentistry even
  41. 1:22to manage personal finances. This
  42. 1:25program is really really helpful.
  43. 1:27>> That's great doctor. So King, you've
  44. 1:29been a part of the program for around 3
  45. 1:30months now. Was there any aha moment for
  46. 1:33you which was very very memory?
  47. 1:35>> You want you want me to be honest?
  48. 1:37Please. So each and every lecture was
  49. 1:40aha. So I learned lot of things lot of
  50. 1:43things to be honest and I don't know ABC
  51. 1:46in this business point of view towards
  52. 1:49dentistry. All the pioneers I say they
  53. 1:53actually made me to open my eyes to
  54. 1:56think about to do something else in
  55. 1:58future.
  56. 1:59>> Okay. Is was there any one particular
  57. 2:01module which was an eye opener to you
  58. 2:03that this is something that I never knew
  59. 2:05about it before or it completely change
  60. 2:07your perspective towards things?
  61. 2:09>> Uh not one there are many to be honest.
  62. 2:12uh you think about uh like you know how
  63. 2:15to manage your finance, how to manage
  64. 2:18your materials and inventory and then
  65. 2:22how to do branding especially. So these
  66. 2:25are the things are very amazing.
  67. 2:27>> Okay that's great doctor. So uh here in
  68. 2:29the program uh there are different uh
  69. 2:31diverse faculties in the program. Do you
  70. 2:34think that the faculties are up to the
  71. 2:35parad or wherein you actually benefited
  72. 2:38a lot of from their wisdom or their
  73. 2:40teachings? Uh well actually this is more
  74. 2:44than expected to be honest. So really I
  75. 2:49was thinking like you know we are
  76. 2:50dentists how we have to cope up with
  77. 2:52these different people from the
  78. 2:54management field actually helpful they
  79. 2:57understood our curriculum they actually
  80. 2:59did their homework and they have given
  81. 3:01like you know like uh started from ABC
  82. 3:06to Jed Jed by end of this program. So I
  83. 3:09feel I'm little confident enough
  84. 3:11compared to my previous experience. Now
  85. 3:15I'm little confident enough how to do
  86. 3:17business, how to do practice and how to
  87. 3:19manage inventory all the stuff. Wow
  88. 3:22doctor that's amazing. So here in the
  89. 3:25program um now that you have been you
  90. 3:28have experienced all of it we see that
  91. 3:30there are uh some of the other dentists
  92. 3:32facing some of the issues as challenges
  93. 3:34or navigating things in their practice.
  94. 3:37uh is there something you would like to
  95. 3:38tell them a suggestion or something that
  96. 3:40you learned in the program or whether
  97. 3:43this program is actually app for them?
  98. 3:45>> Yeah, I'll just tell them only one
  99. 3:47thing. Uh just close your eyes and join
  100. 3:51the program. You will learn many things
  101. 3:53which you will not come across in your
  102. 3:55life so far. It doesn't mean that you
  103. 3:56know you have years of practice you know
  104. 3:58everything. So this program will open
  105. 4:01your eyes and also makes you to do a
  106. 4:04positive things on right time. So that
  107. 4:07which will help you to establish
  108. 4:08yourself as a good practitioner which
  109. 4:11will help you in personal growth and
  110. 4:13financial growth.
  111. 4:14>> Right. So cons you have invested a lot
  112. 4:16of time, energy and even money in the
  113. 4:18program. Do you think you got a value
  114. 4:20back out of it?
  115. 4:21>> 1,000% value. I got 1,000% value for
  116. 4:24this program. like you know as I telling
  117. 4:26you from the beginning each and every
  118. 4:29class is an epic
  119. 4:30>> right
  120. 4:31>> so I never heard before to be honest so
  121. 4:34even we do a lot of conferences I feel
  122. 4:36they should include this in the
  123. 4:38curriculum also
  124. 4:39>> okay so what you're saying is you would
  125. 4:41have actually done such a program 10 15
  126. 4:43years ago
  127. 4:44>> no no what I was trying to tell they
  128. 4:46should include this such programs in the
  129. 4:48dental curriculum
  130. 4:49>> correct right so but then as a part of
  131. 4:52the dental curriculum as well you would
  132. 4:54be learning It's somewhere in your BDS
  133. 4:56or MDS.
  134. 4:57>> No, for me I didn't learn anything. What
  135. 4:59I was suggesting then we can keep this
  136. 5:01business such programs in the BDS
  137. 5:04curriculum itself. Correct.
  138. 5:05>> I never learned before. I never exposed
  139. 5:07such program before.
  140. 5:08>> Wow, that's amazing doctor. Thank you so
  141. 5:10much. That was very very helpful. Thank
  142. 5:12you. Thank you.
