- 0:15you, too. You've got Michael Jordan
- 0:17level genius at something. So today,

- 0:21get some incredible motivation from the
- 0:23one and only Dr. Joe Dispenza. Enjoy.
- 0:29Self-love is no longer about pleasure or
- 0:31having a car. It's something that you're
- 0:33cultivating within you. So then, imagine
- 0:36we have research to show, and this is
- 0:38such a this is such a duality,
- 0:42that when you start seeing the brain
- 0:45start synchronizing, getting coherent,
- 0:48the front of the brain and the back of
- 0:49the brain, the two hemispheres coming
- 0:51together, and you we can say to
- 0:52scientists that come and study our work,
- 0:54"Oh, watch this. Ed's going to pop."
- 0:56"What do you mean?" "Just watch. This is
- 0:58going to be good." And all of a sudden,
- 0:59you see this brain going into this kind
- 1:01of psychic union. The heart blows wide
- 1:03open. You see coherence going on. And
- 1:05you look around at that person, and
- 1:07there's tears running down their face.
- 1:10Imagine feeling so whole
- 1:13that it's impossible to want. I mean,
- 1:15how can you want when you're whole? Cuz
- 1:18you feel like you already have it. Now,
- 1:20when you reach that point,
- 1:22that's when the magic happens because
- 1:24now you are worthy to receive. And the
- 1:26universe only gives us what we think
- 1:28we're worthy of receiving.
- 1:30Share this with them, please.
- 1:31Yeah, I think I know for me, I mean,
- 1:34um
- 1:35I'm curious and I'm a pragmatist. I
- 1:38mean, if you tell me something, all I
- 1:40want to know is how I'm going to use it
- 1:41in my life. And And I'm not into dinner
- 1:43conversation because nobody changes from
- 1:46that, you know? I mean, I mean, I'm a
- 1:47doer and I want to be around doers and
- 1:49That's why you and I connect so well, I
- 1:51think.
- 1:51And I yeah, yeah, yeah, I obviously. And
- 1:53And And And uh
- 1:55you you get a group of people
- 1:57that are passionate about transformation
- 1:59and they they've done some of the work.
- 2:02When we were doing our four-day four and
- 2:04a half day advanced workshops right
- 2:06around the end of the event I was seeing
- 2:08people starting to know seeing some
- 2:10really great transformations and I
- 2:11thought this is the pop. Yeah, it's a
- 2:13pop big pops and and we were like we had
- 2:16to send them home and I was like oh god
- 2:18man if I could just have them for a week
- 2:21so we created these week long events
- 2:22where people retreat from their lives.
- 2:24Okay.
- 2:25And
- 2:26they remove the constant stimulation in
- 2:27their external environment that reminds
- 2:29them of who they think they are as a
- 2:31personality. They separate themselves
- 2:33from the people they know and the places
- 2:35they go and the things that they do at a
- 2:37certain amount of time in their routine
- 2:39mundane life. So we'll bridge a little
- 2:41quantum physics with a little
- 2:42neuroscience and a little
- 2:44endocrinology a little epigenetics
- 2:46psychoneuroimmunology. Those are all
- 2:47sciences about possibility and I now
- 2:50know that if you can give people the
- 2:52sound scientific information
- 2:54and you know
- 2:55for me that's the language
- 2:57and then if they can turn to the person
- 2:59next to them and explain it you're not
- 3:01going to get off the hook. If you can't
- 3:03explain it it's not wired in your brain
- 3:05but if you can build a model and explain
- 3:07it you're installing the neurological
- 3:09hardware in your brain in preparation
- 3:11for the experience. So the more you
- 3:13understand what you're doing and why
- 3:16the how gets easier cuz you can assign
- 3:18meaning to it. So then if I can set up
- 3:19the conditions in the environment and
- 3:21give them the proper instructions and
- 3:23push the envelope a little bit.
- 3:24Yeah.
- 3:25And people who get their behaviors to
- 3:26match their intentions and their actions
- 3:28equal to their thoughts they get their
- 3:29mind and body working together
- 3:31they're going to have a new experience
- 3:33and the experience then is not only
- 3:34going to enrich the philosophical
- 3:36circuits in their brain cuz experience
- 3:37does that but it's going to produce an
- 3:39emotion so they're going to start
- 3:41feeling more unlimited.
- 3:42How bad
- 3:45does it have to get? I mean to what
- 3:49denominator
- 3:51to what lowest level do you have to
- 3:54reach
- 3:55before people really make up their mind
- 3:57to change? My message is, why wait? I
- 3:59mean, when you're feeling so altered
- 4:02emotionally, you feel so bad, that's the
- 4:04moment you could actually see yourself
- 4:06for the first time because you're you're
- 4:07not answering your cell phone, you're
- 4:09not responding to all your texts, you're
- 4:11not watching TV, you're not going out to
- 4:13dinners, you're not calling people back.
- 4:15You're something's altered in you and
- 4:17you're starting to become self-aware,
- 4:19right?
- 4:20So, then
- 4:21people wait to that lowest moment where
- 4:23they can start to see themselves through
- 4:24the eyes of somebody else. Well, if
- 4:27you're waking up every day and you're
- 4:28combining a clear intention with an
- 4:30elevated emotion, and you're changing
- 4:32your emotional state to be elevated, you
- 4:35could still see the old self from an
- 4:37elevated point of view and be stay
- 4:39conscious then from a limited point of
- 4:41view. And that's what I want for people.
- 4:43Like, let's go. I mean, what do you got
- 4:45to lose? What People going to start
- 4:46wondering like, did you change your
- 4:48medication? What's up with that guy?
- 4:50Something's different about him. You're
- 4:51not predictable any longer, right? And I
- 4:53always say to our our our community, you
- 4:56know, when you're changing, you just
- 4:57stop talking about it.
- 4:58Yeah.
- 4:59You're just too busy being it. You
- 5:00something's happening, you know, and
- 5:02that's
- 5:03the repetition of getting a few days in
- 5:06a row of that really well. I always say,
- 5:09God, if you had a great meditation, you
- 5:11wake up feeling better at the end of
- 5:13that meditation than when you started,
- 5:15and you do that the next day, and then
- 5:17the next day,
- 5:18you're going to start feeling better all
- 5:20the time. And then your body's going to
- 5:22start feeling better and everything's
- 5:23going to start feeling better. And
- 5:24you're going to start feeling better
- 5:25about life. So,
- 5:28you ask a person, why are you so
- 5:29unhappy? Why are you so frustrated? Why
- 5:31are you so resentful? The moment you ask
- 5:33that, their brain is going to associate
- 5:35that emotion to a past event.
- 5:37To a memory.
- 5:37To a memory.
- 5:38Yeah.
- 5:39That's because they have nothing to look
- 5:42forward to in their future. So, if
- 5:43you're not being defined by a vision of
- 5:45the future, it just means to me that
- 5:47you're more in love with your past
- 5:49Mhm.
- 5:50than you are with the future. So, how do
- 5:52you teach people to believe in a future
- 5:54that they can't see or experience with
- 5:56their senses yet, but they've thought
- 5:58about enough times in their mind that
- 6:00their brain is literally changed to look
- 6:03like the event has already occurred. The
- 6:04latest research in neuroscience says
- 6:06that's absolutely possible. We know
- 6:08that. And how do you teach a person
- 6:11to select a new possibility in their
- 6:13future and begin to emotionally embrace
- 6:15that future before it's made manifest to
- 6:18such a degree that their body as their
- 6:20unconscious mind is believing it's
- 6:22living in that future reality in the
- 6:24present moment and they're signaling new
- 6:26genes in new ways ahead of the
- 6:28environment? Now, to their body begins
- 6:31to change to look like the event has
- 6:32already occurred. We've proven that
- 6:34that's possible. Now, think about this.
- 6:36So, the more you think about your
- 6:37desired future, the joy, the gratitude,
- 6:41the
- 6:42uh
- 6:44the feelings you want to have that are
- 6:45more positive, the more you think about
- 6:47it as it's as a future thing happening,
- 6:50the more your body shifts now.
- 6:52Exactly. So, your body's believing it's
- 6:54living in that future reality in the
- 6:56present moment. Now, think about this.
- 6:58The stronger the emotion you feel from
- 7:00some condition in your life, the more
- 7:02altered you feel inside of you, the more
- 7:04you narrow your focus on cause and the
- 7:06brain freezes an image and takes a
- 7:08snapshot and that memory now is embossed
- 7:10in the brain. It's branded in there. So,
- 7:13then people think neurologically within
- 7:15the circuits of those past experiences
- 7:17and they feel chemically within the
- 7:18boundaries of those emotions. And the
- 7:20stronger the betrayal, the stronger the
- 7:22trauma, the more the body's living in
- 7:24the past, right? So, then So, how do you
- 7:26reverse that? So, now,
- 7:29if you truly got passionate about a
- 7:30future, we've all done this. You get a
- 7:33wild idea in your mind and you start
- 7:35holding on to that vision and you're
- 7:37preoccupied with it, all of a sudden the
- 7:39thought in your mind becomes the
- 7:41experience and you start feeling the the
- 7:43energy of the future. Now, the stronger
- 7:45the emotion you feel from that vision,
- 7:47the more you're going to pay attention
- 7:49to the picture in your mind and now
- 7:50you're remembering your future.
- 7:51And vice versa, the stronger you pay
- 7:53attention to the feeling of the past
- 7:55pain, you're going to create the pain in
- 7:57this moment.
- 7:57Exactly. So then So it requires a
- 8:00coherent brain.
- 8:01Mhm.
- 8:01And we now know that there's a formula
- 8:03for that and we've got beautiful
- 8:05research to show that people can do it.
- 8:07They just have to practice. And it
- 8:09requires a coherent heart because
- 8:11resentment, frustration, impatience
- 8:14creates a very incoherent heart.
- 8:16Yeah.
- 8:16And when that heart becomes incoherent,
- 8:18you stop trusting yourself. There's no
- 8:20energy there. Again, you stop trusting
- 8:21in your future.
- 8:22Wow.
- 8:22So then, if there's physical evidence in
- 8:24your brain and body
- 8:27physical evidence to look like the event
- 8:29has already occurred, it's quite
- 8:31possible you'll be thinking
- 8:32neurologically within the circuits of
- 8:33your future and you'll begin to feel
- 8:36chemically within the boundaries of that
- 8:37emotion of your future. And how you
- 8:39think and how you feel is your state of
- 8:41being.
- 8:42And now your state of being is living in
- 8:44the future instead of the past. Now,
- 8:47the moment you disconnect from the
- 8:50emotion of your future because of
- 8:52traffic or some coworker or your ex or
- 8:54whatever people come up with,
- 8:56now you're back to the energy of your
- 8:58past and now you're going to start
- 9:00looking for it, analyzing, why hasn't it
- 9:02happened? Well, if you're feeling the
- 9:04emotion of your future, why would you
- 9:06look for it? Because you would feel like
- 9:08it already happened and that is the
- 9:10place where the magic happens. So then,
- 9:12you can't just do this, get up and then
- 9:15return back to your old state of being.
- 9:18You got to maintain that modified state
- 9:20of mind and life.
- 9:21When When life happens. Well,
- 9:23let me finish.
- 9:24If I punch you in the face right now,
- 9:25how do you maintain
- 9:26Well, of course Of course. I mean, we
- 9:28all take blows in our lives. And and we
- 9:30all react emotionally. But the question
- 9:32is, how long are you going to react?
- 9:35Right. Right.
- 9:35So then, if you can't mediate and
- 9:38regulate your emotional reactions and
- 9:40those emotions linger for days, that's a
- 9:42mood.
- 9:43Years for some people.
- 9:44Mood, and then a months, temperament,
- 9:46years, personality trait. So then the
- 9:49person's personality
- 9:51is literally based on the past. But they
- 9:53don't know that because they're doing it
- 9:55over and over again. That becomes a
- 9:57subconscious program. So now,
- 9:59it requires a coherent brain and a
- 10:02coherent heart, then we have to train
- 10:04people
- 10:05Uh-huh.
- 10:05how to self-regulate. The person's doing
- 10:07the vision board and they're saying,
- 10:09"When I get my new car, I get my new
- 10:11house, I get my new relationship,
- 10:14then I'm going to feel so great." Now
- 10:17the Well, then they're back to the
- 10:18program waiting for it to happen for
- 10:21them to feel the emotion. They're
- 10:22They're believing their outer world has
- 10:24to change in order for them to feel
- 10:25better. There's There's no
- 10:28effect of drawing the experience to you
- 10:31with that way.
- 10:32So, the person has to use those tools
- 10:36to get them into the emotional state
- 10:39for them to feel like it's already
- 10:41happened. Now think about this.
- 10:44If you get up from
- 10:46a creative process
- 10:48and you feel grateful, you feel a love
- 10:51for life, you feel a joy for existence,
- 10:54you feel a passion uh
- 10:57to for the moment,
- 11:00uh
- 11:00you will not be looking for your future
- 11:05because you'll feel like it's already
- 11:06happened.
- 11:07Mhm.
- 11:07It's the moment that we start feeling
- 11:09those self-limiting emotions that we
- 11:11feel separation and then we start
- 11:13looking for it again. Well, then if
- 11:15you're waiting, you're not creating,
- 11:17you're you're in separation again. So
- 11:19then So then
- 11:21whatever it takes for you to move into a
- 11:24state of being. And what is a state of
- 11:26being? Thoughts are the vocabulary of
- 11:29the brain. Feelings are the vocabulary
- 11:31of your body. How you think and how you
- 11:34feel creates your state of being. So
- 11:36then if you wake up in the morning and
- 11:38you come come back to your senses with a
- 11:40clean slate and you say, "I don't feel
- 11:42anything." And you say, "Well, let me
- 11:43start thinking about all the problems in
- 11:45my life." Well, all those problems are
- 11:46connected to different people or
- 11:48different objects or things at different
- 11:49times and places. The moment you
- 11:51remember your problems, a memory is a
- 11:53record of the past. You're thinking in
- 11:54the past. Every one of those problems
- 11:56has an emotion associated with them. So
- 11:58all of a sudden you start feeling
- 11:59unhappy. You start feeling bitter. You
- 12:01start feeling frustrated. So now your
- 12:03body's in the past. So then most people
- 12:05then
- 12:06create a state of being that's connected
- 12:09to their past. And if they're in the
- 12:10familiar past, then they are going to
- 12:13crave the predictable future and they're
- 12:15going to fall back into routine. So then
- 12:18we want people then to get very clear on
- 12:21that vision of their future, however
- 12:23they do it. And begin to combine that
- 12:26clear intention with an elevated
- 12:27emotion. And the stronger the emotion
- 12:30they feel from the vision they're
- 12:32creating, the more altered they feel
- 12:34inside of them, the more they're going
- 12:35to pay attention to the pictures in
- 12:37their mind. And now they're remembering
- 12:39their future. And biologically, it's
- 12:41exactly the same as remembering your
- 12:43past. In fact, if you're not being
- 12:45defined by a vision in the future, it
- 12:46means you're making your past more real
- 12:50than your future. You're falling in love
- 12:52with your past. You're more in love with
- 12:53your past than you are with your future.
- 12:55That you're believing in your past more
- 12:57than you're believing in your future.
- 12:58When you get to that moment where you
- 13:01have that feeling,
- 13:04that's your compass. Because that
- 13:06feeling is going to drive your
- 13:07behaviors. It's going to drive more of
- 13:10those thoughts. And when you feel that
- 13:12feeling and it's visceral,
- 13:14no person, no thing, no experience will
- 13:17stand in the way between you and that
- 13:19vision. And and you will be initiated in
- 13:23by the universe into wealth. You will be
- 13:25initiated into health. You'll be
- 13:27initiated into the freedom. Those
- 13:29people, all those people that have
- 13:31healed themselves of all those different
- 13:32health conditions,
- 13:35they are so humble
- 13:36and so happy and they feel so great that
- 13:40they would never trade this feeling
- 13:43because of what you thought of them.
- 13:45They they they've they've left that
- 13:46program behind a long time ago. They
- 13:48actually don't care how you think of
- 13:50them. They they actually are so happy
- 13:52with themselves
- 13:54that they're no longer dependent on
- 13:55anything outside of them. Now, I think
- 13:57that's a really important moment because
- 14:00that's the moment we give people
- 14:01permission in our lives to do the same,
- 14:03right? And I think that more and more
- 14:05people are beginning to figure that out.
- 14:07One of the things about the global
- 14:09pandemic that I said to my staff and to
- 14:11my family the moment I heard how the
- 14:13circumstances in the world changed, I
- 14:16just said I refuse to be a victim to
- 14:19these circumstances. So, a victim
- 14:21consciousness is when um we allow
- 14:25something in our outer environment to
- 14:26control the way we feel and think. So,
- 14:28if I said to you, Jay, "Why are you so
- 14:30upset today?" and you said, "Oh, it's
- 14:32because of this person or circumstance."
- 14:33What you're really saying is something
- 14:35in my outer environment, some person or
- 14:37some condition is controlling the way I
- 14:39think and feel. Now, that's not the
- 14:41truth. That's just a response, right?
- 14:44So, anything that controls our thoughts
- 14:46and feelings causes us to be victim to
- 14:48those things. And the stronger the
- 14:50emotion we feel to some circumstance in
- 14:52our life, the more we pay attention to
- 14:55it. And where we place our attention is
- 14:56where we place our energy. So,
- 14:58we're giving our life force. We're
- 14:59giving our power away to that
- 15:01circumstance. And so, I just made up my
- 15:03mind that uh it was a great opportunity
- 15:05to get into the cocoon. A habit is a
- 15:07redundant set of automatic, unconscious
- 15:10thoughts, behaviors, and emotions that's
- 15:12acquired through repetition.
- 15:14A habit is when you've done something so
- 15:15many times that the body now knows how
- 15:17to do it better than the mind.
- 15:19So, now the person running through the
- 15:21same routine every single day is on
- 15:23autopilot and their body's now dragging
- 15:26them
- 15:27into a predictable future based on what
- 15:29they did in the past and they've lost
- 15:30their free will
- 15:31Mhm.
- 15:32to a set of programs, right? So now you
- 15:35have the familiar past and you have the
- 15:36predictable future, those are knowns.
- 15:39So the only place then reasonably where
- 15:41the unknown exist is the sweet spot of
- 15:43the generous present moment. That is
- 15:46when the body and mind are free from
- 15:49those conditions. So along with those
- 15:52emotions that influence the same
- 15:53thoughts,
- 15:55people start becoming more judgmental.
- 15:57They start becoming more impatient. They
- 15:59start becoming more entitled. Uh they
- 16:01start getting more afraid, more anxious,
- 16:03more depressed. And now the body is
- 16:06literally being depleted
- 16:09of energy because it's believing that
- 16:11it's living in an emergency situation.
- 16:14In emergency, you tap all of the body's
- 16:16resources for some threat whether it's
- 16:19real or imagined.
- 16:20And so then when you're releasing all of
- 16:23these chemicals, we are literally
- 16:25drawing the body's life force and
- 16:27turning it into chemistry. And so for
- 16:28the short term, that's cool.
- 16:31But the arousal that's created from
- 16:34those stress hormones
- 16:36is a rush of energy.
- 16:38And so then people use the problems
- 16:41and the conditions in their life to
- 16:43reaffirm their conditioning or their
- 16:45addiction to that emotion.
- 16:47And in a sense, they become addicted to
- 16:49the life they don't even like. And this
- 16:51is why change is so hard.
- 16:54So then when a person makes up their
- 16:56mind to change and they say, "Okay, I'm
- 16:57not going to say I can't. I'm not going
- 16:59to judge another person. I'm not going
- 17:01to blame. I'm not going to complain. I'm
- 17:02not going to make excuses. I'm not going
- 17:04to be a victim. I'm not going to talk
- 17:05trash about anybody. I'm just going to
- 17:06stop." Well, that works out really well
- 17:09for the first couple hours.
- 17:11And the body's saying, "You're out of
- 17:12schedule. You normally at 8:00 in the
- 17:14morning, you're getting traffic and
- 17:15you're angry. Then at 11:00 you check
- 17:18your emails and you're really judgmental
- 17:20and frustrated. The body's saying, "Oh
- 17:22well, you've been doing this for the
- 17:23last 20 years. You're just going to stop
- 17:25today."
- 17:26So now the body, which has been
- 17:28conditioned emotionally to be the mind,
- 17:30wants to return back to its familiar
- 17:33territory, to the known.
- 17:35So the body starts influencing the mind.
- 17:37And it says, "You know, come on. This is
- 17:39a good time to judge. Come on. This is a
- 17:41good time to suffer. It's your ex's
- 17:44fault. It's your It's the government's
- 17:46fault. It's
- 17:48You know, it's the weather. What the
- 17:50news, whatever it is." And if we accept,
- 17:53believe, and surrender to that thought
- 17:56without analyzing it, it slips by and it
- 17:59begins to program the autonomic nervous
- 18:01system to make those pharmacy of
- 18:03chemicals.
- 18:04And so, that's when the person makes the
- 18:06same choice, does the same thing,
- 18:09creates the same experience just for
- 18:12that familiar feeling. Okay, I'll
- 18:14complain just so I can feel suffering.
- 18:17Then,
- 18:18they'd rather
- 18:19be unhappy
- 18:21than step into the unknown. I think that
- 18:24emotions are energy in motion.
- 18:27And so, let's just say that um
- 18:31we share the same experiences, okay? I
- 18:33don't We're friends and we share the
- 18:35same experience. Are you from London?
- 18:36I've been to London. My daughter lives
- 18:37in London. And we have "Hey, you do
- 18:39this. I do that. You did that. You know,
- 18:40you own this. I own that." You know, so
- 18:42what we do is we actually look to see
- 18:45when we meet people if we're matching
- 18:48neurologically, if we're matching
- 18:49emotionally. So, if we share the same
- 18:51experiences, we share the same emotions.
- 18:53And if we share the same emotions, we
- 18:55can relate to one another. So, this is
- 18:58where it gets sticky. So, then the
- 18:59moment you start saying,
- 19:01"That person did that to you once."
- 19:03Yeah, that person. I had a similar
- 19:04experience. That person did that to me.
- 19:06Now, now we open the door like I'm going
- 19:09to use you to reaffirm
- 19:12my
- 19:14attachment to that emotion.
- 19:16And let's just work it up so that you
- 19:19can suffer and I can suffer and then we
- 19:21can have a conversation and literally
- 19:23we're sharing the same energy and if
- 19:25we're sharing the same energy, we're
- 19:26sharing the same information and we're
- 19:28bound by an invisible field of energy
- 19:31that keeps us connected.
- 19:32Yes.
- 19:33So then what does it take to break that
- 19:35energetic field? An energy that's
- 19:37greater than the energy that's holding
- 19:39it together. That's how you separate
- 19:40atoms that become a molecule. They're
- 19:43they're bound by an invisible field of
- 19:45energy that's keeping them connected. So
- 19:47you got to use a greater energy than the
- 19:49energy that's holding them together to
- 19:51separate them. Well, in order for you to
- 19:53change then, you can't have energy
- 19:55without awareness or consciousness. You
- 19:56got to go to a greater level of
- 19:57consciousness and change your energy and
- 20:00nobody changes, Jay, until they change
- 20:03their energy. And when they change their
- 20:04energy, they change their life. So then
- 20:07you may say, well, this person, you
- 20:09know, I I use this person and I use my
- 20:12enemy to reaffirm my addiction to
- 20:14hatred. I use my co-worker to reaffirm
- 20:17my addiction to judgement. I use my ex
- 20:20to reaffirm my
- 20:22addiction to resentment. That we have
- 20:24these different people in our lives that
- 20:27we need to remind us of who we think we
- 20:30are. The enemy dies and you find another
- 20:32one.
- 20:33Mhm.
- 20:33You know, you know, your co-worker
- 20:36leaves and you start judging another
- 20:38one. It's just it's not any it's not
- 20:41that. So then
- 20:42when there's no longer a vibrational
- 20:44match, when you start doing the work,
- 20:47there's no longer a vibrational match
- 20:49with you and your past present reality
- 20:51that that person or that condition any
- 20:53longer,
- 20:54that person or condition is going to
- 20:56spiral away because you're no longer
- 20:59you're no longer in need of that. So
- 21:01then
- 21:02our life begins to change when we change
- 21:04our energy and and we begin to take our
- 21:06power back. That's essential for us to
- 21:09begin to create with. Now, some people
- 21:11can't handle that because
- 21:14they're not conscious that they're doing
- 21:16it. So, they'll be working on their
- 21:17vision of their future and yet they'll
- 21:20spend 2 hours lowering their energy back
- 21:23into victimization or suffering and they
- 21:26want to know why their future isn't
- 21:27happening. Well,
- 21:28there's an unconscious program. Let's go
- 21:31after that. And once you start going
- 21:32after that, now all of a sudden your
- 21:35life starts to change again. So, you
- 21:36can't say it doesn't work. On some
- 21:39level, we don't work. And if you're
- 21:40really invested in this,
- 21:43the question is what is it about me?
- 21:46Where am I directing my attention or my
- 21:47energy? Who am I using to reaffirm some
- 21:51conditioning that I need to remember who
- 21:53as my old self? So, then when you stop
- 21:55reacting to the person or the person's
- 21:57now complaining to you and you're not
- 21:59complaining back,
- 22:00it's going to be an uncomfortable moment
- 22:02because
- 22:03you're all of a sudden seeing a part of
- 22:05you you used to be that you no longer
- 22:07are and you have to be willing to not go
- 22:11there. And over time, that person will
- 22:14thank you and they'll say, "I didn't
- 22:16even know that I was complaining that
- 22:18much." And
- 22:19by changing yourself, you help others.
- 22:21You got to stay conscious
- 22:23and not go unconscious. And it turns out
- 22:25that 95% of the time we're unconscious.
- 22:27So, if you're going to stay conscious,
- 22:29then there's an element that also
- 22:31requires a certain amount of awareness
- 22:33or energy.
- 22:35And you got to step outside of that
- 22:37unconscious state. So, the thoughts that
- 22:39they're thinking
- 22:41are slipping by their awareness
- 22:42unnoticed because they're hardwired in
- 22:44their brain because they've been saying,
- 22:46"I can't. It's too hard. My life will
- 22:48never change. It's someone else's
- 22:49fault." Those thoughts have consequences
- 22:52in the body.
- 22:53So, then if a person then becomes
- 22:55conscious
- 22:56of those unconscious thoughts, becomes
- 22:58aware of how they speak and how they
- 23:00act, and they notice how they're
- 23:02feeling. They're no longer the program.
- 23:05They're the consciousness outside the
- 23:06program, and that's the first step to
- 23:08change. So,
- 23:10there are there are when you when you're
- 23:12distracted by your environment and you
- 23:14got your cell phone and you're tweeting
- 23:16and you're
- 23:17Instagramming and Facebook and whatever
- 23:18people do, you're distracted by that
- 23:21feeling.
- 23:22But, I now know that if you take a
- 23:24person and you say, "Okay, close your
- 23:26eyes.
- 23:27Sit in the in the silence of any
- 23:30external stimulation. Remove the
- 23:32environment. Sit your body down like an
- 23:35animal. Body is the animal. Tell it to
- 23:36stay. I'm going to feed you. You can
- 23:39check your cell phone. You can shower.
- 23:41You can have your coffee, but when I
- 23:43say."
- 23:44And so then, here comes the challenge,
- 23:47right? So, and and then
- 23:49if you say then, you're not going to
- 23:51live in the familiar future uh familiar
- 23:53past or predictable future, you're not
- 23:54going to think about how long you've
- 23:55been meditating, what you got to do. You
- 23:57you labor
- 23:59uh for that present moment.
- 24:01People think when they do this that
- 24:03they're doing something wrong because
- 24:04there's such discomfort that comes with
- 24:06it.
- 24:07But, they're in the unknown. They're
- 24:08actually doing it right. People say, "I
- 24:10don't I think I'm meditating wrong." I
- 24:11always say, "Oh, no, no, no, you're
- 24:13doing it right because when you notice
- 24:15that your body wants to get up and
- 24:17check your cell phone or have a cup of
- 24:18coffee, and you become aware that it's
- 24:20on autopilot and wants to do that, and
- 24:23you say,
- 24:24"Uh-uh, come on over here."
- 24:25And you return it back to the present
- 24:28moment,
- 24:29you're executing a will now that's
- 24:32greater than the program. And if the
- 24:33person wants to just get angry while
- 24:36they're sitting there, there's an
- 24:37arousal, and they notice the body is
- 24:40amping up and revving up, and they
- 24:42settle it back down. Now, they're
- 24:44telling the body it's no longer the
- 24:46mind.
- 24:47That they're the mind. Now, we've
- 24:48researched this,
- 24:50and it's tedious
- 24:52in the beginning at first because David
- 24:54is fighting Goliath.
- 24:55But, if you keep practicing it, just
- 24:57like training an animal,
- 24:59sooner or later the body acquiesces.
- 25:01Sooner or later the body is trained to a
- 25:03new mind, and when that happens,
- 25:05there's a liberation of energy. The body
- 25:07goes from particle to wave, from matter
- 25:09to energy, and there goes that emotion,
- 25:12literally liberated from the body as
- 25:14energy.
- 25:15So the person who has the strong emotion
- 25:18to some circumstance in their life,
- 25:20and they're
- 25:21they're working on lowering the volume
- 25:24to that emotion, the more they lower the
- 25:26volume to that emotion, the more they're
- 25:27going to take their attention off that
- 25:28person and problem, and they're going to
- 25:30take their power back. There's going to
- 25:31be a break in their attention from that
- 25:34circumstance. And now they build their
- 25:36own field, and now there's energy to
- 25:38heal. Now there's energy to create a new
- 25:40life. Now there's energy for the
- 25:41mystical moment, because they've
- 25:43overcome their old personality self. So
- 25:47I think, you know, it's not like
- 25:48thinking positively. That's not the
- 25:50message. It's It's overcoming overcoming
- 25:55overcoming overcoming until we become
- 25:57somebody else. And when that occurs, and
- 26:00the person starts thinking differently,
- 26:03and they start acting differently,
- 26:05and they start feeling differently.
- 26:07They're a new personality, and they they
- 26:09start seeing those synchronicities and
- 26:11serendipity.
- 26:12Turns out, we've done an experiment.
- 26:14Just 10 minutes a day, three times a day
- 26:17with 120 people, trading resentment,
- 26:20frustration, fear for gratitude,
- 26:22appreciation, and thankfulness.
- 26:25Measuring their immune response,
- 26:27the the chemical immunoglobulin A, your
- 26:29primary defense against bacteria and
- 26:31viruses. The best flu shot you'll ever
- 26:33get lives with innately within you.
- 26:35Turns out when you're frustrated, when
- 26:37you're impatient, when you're fearful,
- 26:39your immune system dials down because
- 26:41you're in emergency. It's not All your
- 26:43energy is going for some threat in your
- 26:45outer world. There's no energy in your
- 26:46inner world for growth and repair. But
- 26:48how do you turn that around? So then, as
- 26:50people begin to open their heart,
- 26:53can that chemical begin to to elevate?
- 26:57Mhm.
- 26:584 days, 50%
- 27:01change in the 120 people. Their their
- 27:05IgA levels went up 50% in 4 days. That's
- 27:08your body's immune system is now
- 27:10upregulating genes that are making
- 27:12proteins and immunoglobulins and and
- 27:14antibodies that you don't need a flu
- 27:16shot. In other words, your inner state
- 27:18is greater than your outer world.
- 27:19Mhm.
- 27:20So then, just by doing that, we now know
- 27:23that your immune system is going to get
- 27:25stronger. By the same means,
- 27:27take 120 people or 50 people and measure
- 27:307,500 gene regulations.
- 27:34Okay? In 4 days, two genes that suppress
- 27:37cancer growth and tumors are activated
- 27:40and upregulated. The genes that
- 27:42stimulate stem cells to go to damaged
- 27:44tissues and repair them, upregulated.
- 27:46The gene for oxidative balance is
- 27:48upregulated. Anti- cancer, anti-aging,
- 27:51anti-heart disease, anti-stroke,
- 27:53anti-neurodegenerative,
- 27:54anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial. Just
- 27:57your body's naturally doing this.
- 27:59The gene for neurogenesis, the growth of
- 28:01new neurons in response to novel
- 28:03experiences and learning. This is 4
- 28:05days, the gene switches on.
- 28:07Uh the the gene for more balance in the
- 28:10pituitary and the pancreas, the gene for
- 28:12the microtubules of the cells, the the
- 28:15little the little fibers that respond to
- 28:17energy and frequency. So, in 4 days, we
- 28:20now know that you can change your
- 28:22genetic destiny
- 28:23if you just practice the inner work.
- 28:26If you think about this, your senses
- 28:29plug you into your external environment.
- 28:31Everything you're seeing or smelling or
- 28:33tasting or feeling or hearing, all of
- 28:35your five senses are affecting your
- 28:37brain.
- 28:38So, if you're waking up in the morning
- 28:40and you're going through the same
- 28:41routine behaviors as you did the day
- 28:43before, and you're not in the process of
- 28:46being defined by a vision of the future,
- 28:50then you're for the most part left with
- 28:51the old hardware in your brain from the
- 28:53past. As a matter of fact, your brain is
- 28:56organized to reflect everything you know
- 28:58from the past.
- 29:00So, as people wake up and they begin to
- 29:02pay attention to their body, they start
- 29:03to look around in their environment,
- 29:05they start to do typical things,
- 29:07it's the external environment that's
- 29:09turning on different circuits in their
- 29:10brain causing them to think equal to
- 29:13their environment.
- 29:14And if you have the idea that your
- 29:15thoughts have something to do with your
- 29:17destiny, as long as you're thinking
- 29:19equal to your environment, you keep
- 29:21creating the same reality over and over
- 29:23again.
- 29:24So, to change is to think greater than
- 29:26your environment, to think greater than
- 29:29the circumstances in your world, to
- 29:30think greater than the conditions in
- 29:32your life. And I think every great
- 29:34person in history understood this. They
- 29:35were defined by a vision that was much
- 29:37bigger than them.
- 29:38I think one of the challenges I think
- 29:40many people have is really the
- 29:42discernment of information. Uh it's
- 29:44really difficult to know what's the
- 29:46truth anymore just because information
- 29:49is so accessible. And I used to say that
- 29:51in an age of information, ignorance is a
- 29:54choice. And And now we have to confront
- 29:56a whole another level, and that is the
- 29:58information that we're getting uh is it
- 30:01is it actually supporting us or is it
- 30:03something that really is an incentive to
- 30:06to uh cause us to make choices. So, um
- 30:09for me, I think the biggest challenge
- 30:10has been just really an awakening to
- 30:13what kind of information I want to
- 30:15expose myself to. And I And I think it's
- 30:17now more than ever a challenge for a lot
- 30:19of people in the world.
- 30:20Overcoming the old self
- 30:23allows us to become somebody else. And
- 30:25there is that period of transition.
- 30:28Yeah.
- 30:28I call it the void where there's just
- 30:30not a lot happening.
- 30:32And you just got to be able
- 30:34Yeah.
- 30:34to keep going and continuously get to
- 30:37the end of your belief where most people
- 30:40stop. I just had a fabulous conversation
- 30:43with someone uh this weekend.
- 30:46Broke through to the other side. And now
- 30:50there's so much magic happening around
- 30:52this person. But she's worthy now
- 30:56to receive it. And that's that that is
- 30:59the key because the universe only gives
- 31:01us what we think we're worthy of
- 31:03receiving. So we got to come initiated
- 31:05into this and understand it. Thousands
- 31:08of years of programming that says that
- 31:10we have to change things matter to
- 31:12matter, you know, in three-dimensional
- 31:14reality. And it will take time, but
- 31:17to begin to connect to that resource
- 31:20called the quantum field and create from
- 31:21the field instead of from matter,
- 31:24there's a lot of unlearning that has to
- 31:25go on.
- 31:26I think this is a time in history where
- 31:28it's not enough to know. This is a time
- 31:30in history to know how.
- 31:32And if you rewind the tape 10 years ago,
- 31:34you know, information was the thing that
- 31:36stimulated thought, stimulated new
- 31:38ideas. And and as we learn new things,
- 31:41we make new connections in our brains.
- 31:43So
- 31:44as we begin to add new stitches into
- 31:46that three-dimensional tapestry in our
- 31:48mind,
- 31:49we're beginning to cause our mind to
- 31:50function in new ways. But the key then
- 31:53is to apply it, to personalize it, to do
- 31:55something with it. And in 10 years ago,
- 31:58when I went got in front of an audience
- 31:59and talked about the application, it it
- 32:01nobody wanted to step outside that
- 32:03philosophical, theoretical, intellectual
- 32:06realm, right? Cuz doing something means
- 32:07you're going to have to change something
- 32:09about yourself. Yeah, you're going to
- 32:10get uncomfortable, right?
- 32:12And um
- 32:14I think we're in an age of information.
- 32:16And in an age of information, ignorance
- 32:18is a choice. And because of technology,
- 32:20we have access to so much content.
- 32:23And information creates awareness. And
- 32:26awareness is consciousness. And you
- 32:28can't have consciousness without energy.
- 32:29They're they work together. So there's
- 32:32an energetic change, I think, that's
- 32:33taking place in the world right now
- 32:35where people are so informed
- 32:37that old models, old paradigms are
- 32:39beginning to break down. Whether it's
- 32:40the medical model, or the religious
- 32:42model, the educational model,
- 32:43journalism,
- 32:44uh
- 32:45the economy, you know,
- 32:47politics, it's all beginning to uh
- 32:50come to the surface because something
- 32:52else has to come out. And and I think
- 32:54that one of the things that people are
- 32:56realizing is that you don't have to be a
- 32:59Buddhist monk to do this, or a nun with
- 33:0140 years of devotion. You just got to
- 33:03understand the formula. And just like
- 33:05any skill or anything you learn,
- 33:08you got to go from thinking to doing to
- 33:10being. You got to take knowledge, you
- 33:12you create the experience, and if you
- 33:13keep doing it over and over again, you
- 33:15start getting a skill, or you start
- 33:17getting wise about how to do it. And you
- 33:19you know that you know how to do it. If
- 33:21we teach a person then how to trade that
- 33:23frustration or that hatred for an
- 33:24elevated emotion, and they'll say,
- 33:26"Yeah, but you know, it was my ex's
- 33:27fault, or I got betrayed by my partner
- 33:29in business." Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know
- 33:31that. Okay, so let's take your partner
- 33:32in business, or take your ex. Let's duct
- 33:35tape them, put them in a cannon, shoot
- 33:36them to the moon. Now, what are you
- 33:38going to do? Sooner or later, you got to
- 33:39reckon with yourself and change, right?
- 33:41So then,
- 33:43teach a person then how to trade that
- 33:44emotion for an elevated emotion. Now,
- 33:47Trade the emotion for an elevated
- 33:48emotion.
- 33:49Right. So, you're going to give that up,
- 33:50and you're going to practice feeling
- 33:51gratitude for as an example.
- 33:53Yes.
- 33:53And the person says, "Well, I can't feel
- 33:54gratitude." And I say, "Absolutely you
- 33:56can, cuz you don't practice feeling it.
- 33:58You practice spending most of your time
- 34:00feeling hatred and frustration. So, now
- 34:02it's going to take a little time to
- 34:03cause that heart of you to bloom or your
- 34:05heart of yours to bloom. Once they're
- 34:07able to feel even the smallest measure
- 34:09of gratitude, where they start feeling
- 34:11appreciation, thankfulness,
- 34:14gratitude, its emotional signature, when
- 34:16you when you get something,
- 34:18Mhm.
- 34:19uh when you're receiving something,
- 34:22when something has happened to you,
- 34:24uh or when something is happening to
- 34:27you,
- 34:28you say thank you, because you're
- 34:29receiving something. So, the emotional
- 34:31signature
- 34:32of gratitude means the event has already
- 34:34happened or it's happening to you. So,
- 34:37the moment you open your heart and you
- 34:38feel gratitude, well, that emotion then
- 34:41is telling the body that the experience
- 34:42has already occurred and the thought
- 34:44then can make it into the body cuz it's
- 34:47consistent with the thought. So, now
- 34:49you're beginning to program the
- 34:50autonomic nervous system into a very
- 34:53specific destiny. You got to maintain
- 34:55that modified state of mind and body
- 34:57your entire day independent of the
- 35:00conditions in your outer environment.
- 35:02Independent of your body's cravings of
- 35:05those emotions and habituations and
- 35:07independent from time. And if you can,
- 35:10get ready because something weird or
- 35:13unusual, some synchronicity, some
- 35:15coincidence, some opportunity is going
- 35:17to land in your lap and you don't have
- 35:19to go and get it. Yes. It came to you.
- 35:22Now, you're the vortex of creation. So,
- 35:24if you say to me, "Well, I was feeling
- 35:26gratitude, but then there was traffic or
- 35:27my coworker sent me a
- 35:29nasty email." Then I would say, "Oh my
- 35:32god.
- 35:33You mean you're allowing your
- 35:34environment, your outer environment to
- 35:36control how you feel and think? You're
- 35:39back to the unconscious program that
- 35:41you're the victim to your life." But,
- 35:42when you start producing those outcomes
- 35:44in your life, you're going to pay
- 35:46attention to what you did inside of you
- 35:48and you're going to believe more that
- 35:49you're the creator of your life and less
- 35:51of the victim of your life.
- 35:52I think um
- 35:54that we define reality with our senses
- 35:56and I think that is one of the biggest
- 35:58delusions. So, the fundamental question
- 36:00is, can you believe in a future
- 36:03that you can't see or experience with
- 36:04your senses yet, but you've thought
- 36:06about enough times in your mind
- 36:09that your brain is literally changed to
- 36:11look like the event has already
- 36:12occurred. Now, the latest research in
- 36:14plasticity says that's absolutely
- 36:15possible. And can you select a new
- 36:18possibility in the quantum field and
- 36:20begin to emotionally embrace that future
- 36:22every single day to such a degree that
- 36:25your body as the unconscious mind, the
- 36:29objective mind does not know the
- 36:30difference between the experience in
- 36:32your life that's creating the emotion,
- 36:35and the emotion that you're fabricating
- 36:36by thought alone, to the degree that you
- 36:38begin to signal new genes in new ways to
- 36:42change your body to look like the
- 36:44experience has already happened. Now,
- 36:46the latest research in epigenetics says
- 36:47this is absolutely possible. Now, think
- 36:48about this. Every day,
- 36:51installing the circuitry, every day
- 36:53conditioning the body into the emotion
- 36:55of the future,
- 36:56that your body begins to change to look
- 36:59like it's already happened. Now, this is
- 37:01where it gets fun,
- 37:03because now you no longer have to go
- 37:05anywhere to get it.
- 37:07Now, it begins to come to you. You
- 37:09become the vortex or the magnet to your
- 37:12destiny.
- 37:13So then, people who come out of their
- 37:15meditation and they say, "Well, I just
- 37:17focused on my wealth. Why isn't it
- 37:18there?" Well, you're not that good. If
- 37:21you're asking, "Why isn't it there?"
- 37:22you're back to the old person again.
- 37:25Stay in that state for an extended
- 37:28period of time
- 37:29as
- 37:31an experiment, as the scientist in your
- 37:33life, to keep your energy connected to
- 37:36the to the dream of your future.
- 37:39And then, see what kind of effects begin
- 37:42to take place without moving into
- 37:45impatience,
- 37:47without moving into frustration, without
- 37:50starting to analyze why it hasn't
- 37:51happened or when That is the trap of
- 37:55defining reality with your senses. So,
- 37:57you have the thought of your future and
- 37:58you don't see it, then you experience
- 38:00separation.
- 38:01But people who are practicing this work,
- 38:03they have the thought of their future
- 38:04and they feel the emotion of their
- 38:05future. They're still connected to it,
- 38:07right? So, that takes practice, and it's
- 38:10just learning like hitting a golf ball,
- 38:12hitting a tennis ball, dancing the
- 38:14salsa, you know, crocheting, whatever it
- 38:17is. You got to You got to start out
- 38:19staying real conscious and learning,
- 38:21then you get good at it, and it gets to
- 38:22be instrumental. It gets to be fun. And
- 38:24that's that's what I want for everybody.
- 38:26That the the act of creation
- 38:28Mhm.
- 38:29should be a blissful
- 38:30playful
- 38:30ecstatic, loose uh free process. And um
- 38:35And so
- 38:36I love the idea of people taking time
- 38:39out of their lives
- 38:41uh to prove to themselves that if
- 38:43they're defined by the vision of the
- 38:45future then they're not living by the
- 38:47memories of the past. And that's where
- 38:49the unknown exists. So, many people
- 38:52the unknown is a scary place. So, they
- 38:55don't see that future because they're
- 38:58used to seeing that future with
- 39:00evidence, with their senses. And the you
- 39:03have to be able to get beyond that and
- 39:05stay in the unknown, stay in that
- 39:07discomfort, and then in that moment to
- 39:10be begin to self-regulate. Like, "Oh,
- 39:13I'm starting to feel a little anxiety.
- 39:14Ooh, I'm starting to feel a little
- 39:15frustration."
- 39:17That's the defining moment where your
- 39:18body's going back to the past cuz
- 39:21emotions are a record of the past. Or
- 39:23you go into routine again. So, you catch
- 39:26yourself.
- 39:27It's a victory.
- 39:29And if you keep catching yourself, those
- 39:31victories add up. And it's not so much
- 39:34about your wealth or your health or your
- 39:36freedom or your new relationship. It's
- 39:39actually about who you become.
- 39:40And we have a huge frontal lobe and it's
- 39:4240% of our entire brain.
- 39:45And most people uh when they have a
- 39:47thought, they just think that that's the
- 39:49truth. And I think one of my greatest
- 39:51realizations in my own journey was
- 39:54just because you have a thought doesn't
- 39:55necessarily mean it's true.
- 39:57So, if you think 60 to 70,000 thoughts
- 40:00in one day, and we do, and 90% of those
- 40:02thoughts are the same thoughts as the
- 40:03day before, and you believe that your
- 40:05thoughts have something to do with your
- 40:06destiny your life's not going to change
- 40:08very much because the same thought leads
- 40:10to the same choice, the same choice
- 40:11leads to the same behavior, the same
- 40:13behavior creates the same experience,
- 40:15and the same experience produces the
- 40:16same motion. And so then
- 40:19the act of becoming conscious of this
- 40:22process to to begin to become more aware
- 40:26of how you think, how you act, and how
- 40:28you feel. It's called metacognition. And
- 40:30so then
- 40:31why is that important? Because the more
- 40:33conscious you become of those
- 40:36unconscious states of mind and body, the
- 40:39less likely you're going to go
- 40:40unconscious during the day. And that
- 40:42thought is not going to slip by your
- 40:45awareness unchecked because you're
- 40:48It means to know thyself. And the word
- 40:51meditation means to become familiar
- 40:53with.
- 40:54So as you become familiar with the
- 40:56thoughts, the behaviors, and the
- 40:57emotions of the old self, you're
- 40:59retiring that old self. As you fire and
- 41:01wire new thoughts and condition the body
- 41:03into a new emotional state, if you do
- 41:05that enough times, it'll begin to become
- 41:07familiar to you. So
- 41:09it's so important.
- 41:11Uh just like a garden, if you're
- 41:13planting a garden, you got to get rid of
- 41:15the weeds. You got to take the plants
- 41:17from the past year and you got to pull
- 41:19them out. The rocks that sift to the top
- 41:21that are like our emotional blocks, they
- 41:23have to be removed. The soil has to be
- 41:25tenderized and broken down. We have to
- 41:28We have to make room to plant a new
- 41:29garden. So primarily, we learn the most
- 41:32about ourselves and others when we're
- 41:35uncomfortable. Because the moment you
- 41:37move into that uncomfortable state,
- 41:38normally a program jumps in. When that
- 41:41program jumps in, it's because person
- 41:43doesn't want to be in the present moment
- 41:44and engage it consciously.
- 41:46So when you teach people how to do that
- 41:49with a meditative process,
- 41:52turns out that when they're in their
- 41:53life,
- 41:54they're less likely to emotionally
- 41:55react. They're less likely to be so
- 41:58rigid and believe the thoughts they were
- 41:59thinking. They're more aware of when
- 42:01they go unconscious back into a habit.
- 42:03And that is what starts the process of
- 42:05change.
- 42:06And so we have to unlearn before we
- 42:08relearn. We have to break the habit of
- 42:10the old self before we reinvent the new
- 42:12self. We have to prune synaptic
- 42:13connections and sprout new connections.
- 42:15We have to unfired unwire and refire and
- 42:18rewire. We have to un-memorize emotions
- 42:20that are stored in the body and
- 42:21recondition the body to a new mind and
- 42:23to a new emotion like deprogram and
- 42:25reprogram. That's the act and it's a
- 42:27two-step process.
- 42:29The majority of our thoughts and
- 42:31feelings
- 42:31Mhm.
- 42:32are connected to our sexuality,
- 42:34to our victimization, our guilt, our
- 42:37suffering, our shame, our unworthiness,
- 42:39our self-doubt, or our importance, our
- 42:42control, our fear, our anger, our
- 42:45frustration, our hatred, our judgment.
- 42:47Those are Those are the first three
- 42:49hormonal centers in the body and and
- 42:51those first three centers have
- 42:52everything to do with survival.
- 42:54Mhm.
- 42:54And those centers are energy consumers.
- 42:57S- orgasm, digestion,
- 43:00stress
- 43:01is a lot of energy that that we're
- 43:04drawing from our very vital life force,
- 43:07our resource of light and information,
- 43:09and we're turning it into chemistry and
- 43:11we're literally robbing the body's
- 43:13energy, right? So So then living like
- 43:15that for the short term is okay cuz the
- 43:17body can move back to homeostasis and
- 43:19then restore itself, but
- 43:21when we're overdoing that consistently,
- 43:23Yeah.
- 43:24then there's no energy for growth and
- 43:25repair. There's cuz you're living
- 43:27constantly in survival. So again, you
- 43:29can eat all the right food, you can do
- 43:31all the right things, but if you're
- 43:32living in anxiety and fear and you're
- 43:34viewing your world from the worst-case
- 43:37scenario that could possibly happen cuz
- 43:39that's what you do in survival,
- 43:41there's no energy for growth and repair.
- 43:43There's no energy for healing. So the
- 43:45majority of our thoughts are signaling
- 43:47certain circuits in the brain that
- 43:49signal another part of the brain, the
- 43:51limbic brain, to make what's called a
- 43:52neuropeptide.
- 43:53Mhm.
- 43:54Neuropeptides are chemical messengers
- 43:55that signal hormonal centers. So now
- 43:57you're taking thought
- 43:58Mhm.
- 43:59and you're storing it as energy in these
- 44:01energy centers and and if you're living
- 44:03in survival, why would you open your
- 44:05heart? I mean, it's just not a time to
- 44:06open your heart. I mean, if you're
- 44:08getting chased by T-Rex,
- 44:10it's not a time to meditate. It's not a
- 44:12time to learn. It's not a time to
- 44:14connect. It's not a time to communicate.
- 44:16It's not a time to sit down and go
- 44:18within. It's not a time to be
- 44:19vulnerable. It's time to run, fight, or
- 44:21hide. And so
- 44:22Is that why we're this way? I've never
- 44:23asked you this before. Is this some
- 44:25I don't I don't think you believe this,
- 44:27but I just want to understand. Is this
- 44:28some sort of genetic disposition that's
- 44:30been passed down to us since we've been
- 44:32chased by T-Rex?
- 44:33I think so. I think survival has been
- 44:35very adaptive.
- 44:36Yeah.
- 44:36Like because if you're being chased by
- 44:38T-Rex, you don't run up to T-Rex and
- 44:40say, "Oh, cute little dinosaur, let me
- 44:43pet you." That's not adaptive.
- 44:44Mhm.
- 44:45And fear is adaptive. You run from the
- 44:47unknown. You run from challenges, right?
- 44:49So, if you're living in survival,
- 44:51there's better chances of surviving
- 44:53Mhm.
- 44:53if you run from the unknown. And by the
- 44:56way, when you're living in survival out
- 44:58the infinite potentials in the quantum
- 45:00field,
- 45:01Mhm.
- 45:01you'll select the worst-case scenario in
- 45:03your mind.
- 45:04Mhm.
- 45:04And you'll begin to emotionally prepare
- 45:06yourself for the worst-case scenario
- 45:08because you have better chances of
- 45:10surviving
- 45:11There you go.
- 45:11if you prepare for the worst, right? So,
- 45:13people spend their whole life
- 45:15Yes.
- 45:15thinking about the worst thing and
- 45:17emotionally embracing it. Well, you take
- 45:18a thought and emotion or an image and an
- 45:20emotion, you're branding or conditioning
- 45:23your body
- 45:24into what? Anxiety and into fear. So,
- 45:27then you keep doing that over and over
- 45:28again, over and over again, you're the
- 45:29body becomes the mind of fear. And
- 45:32whether you think you can control it or
- 45:34not, you're going to have a panic
- 45:34attack. And the panic attack is the
- 45:36body's saying, "You've conditioned me
- 45:38this way. Try as you may with your
- 45:39conscious mind to control it." You
- 45:41programmed it subconsciously. Then, you
- 45:44start worrying about the next panic
- 45:45attack. And it's that very anticipation
- 45:47Here we go.
- 45:48that keeps the person on the hamster
- 45:49wheel, right?
- 45:50And robs them of all of this energy, as
- 45:51well.
- 45:52They're absolutely. So, so So, they
- 45:54don't believe
- 45:55in possibility when they're living in
- 45:57that state because in survival, it's
- 46:00It's a time to create. All the blood
- 46:01flow is going to the hindbrain and away
- 46:03from the forebrain. There's no There's
- 46:05There's no physiology really for a
- 46:07person to begin to create a new future.
- 46:09So then So think about it. So then
- 46:1270% of the time people in the world are
- 46:15living anticipating the next moment
- 46:17based on their past moment. And so
- 46:19they're laying reality down moment by
- 46:22moment with the next known, the next
- 46:24predictable moment. And so the hormones
- 46:26of stress endorse the senses. Our senses
- 46:29become heightened when we're under
- 46:31stress.
- 46:32And we become materialists. We narrow
- 46:33our focus on the danger. Yes. So then
- 46:36you're focusing on matter. You're
- 46:37focusing on the material world. And when
- 46:40you do that, you put all your attention
- 46:42the arousal of the stress hormones puts
- 46:44all your attention on your body. If
- 46:45you're being chased by T-Rex, you better
- 46:47be paying attention. We have research to
- 46:49show that 60 days of meditation
- 46:52five days a week will lengthen your
- 46:55life. The telomeres, the little
- 46:57shoestrings on the end of your DNA, get
- 46:59longer. That means your biological age
- 47:01is changing.
- 47:03So we we have the evidence now
- 47:05to show people what's possible. We have
- 47:07brain scans that that are so outside of
- 47:10normal that when neuroscientists see
- 47:13them, they're blown away because the
- 47:15amount of energy that's in the brain
- 47:16during this transcendental moment is
- 47:19uh
- 47:20hundreds of times outside of normal.
- 47:22Wow. I mean, you can't make your brain
- 47:24do that. Something is happening to you.
- 47:26And that person's having a
- 47:28transcendental moment. And we now know
- 47:30that we can predict it. And we now that
- 47:32know that we can induce it. So then
- 47:34there's the evidence there.
- 47:36Then you take
- 47:37our community and you see people with
- 47:39stage four cancer, with Parkinson's
- 47:41disease, with myasthenia gravis, with
- 47:43with lupus, with MS, with brain
- 47:46injuries, uh
- 47:48uh with rare genetic disorders, with uh
- 47:50vertigo,
- 47:51tinnitus, uh
- 47:53all kidney failure, all kinds of health
- 47:55conditions
- 47:57come to a week-long event and then at
- 47:59the end of that event they make
- 48:02significant strides in getting beyond
- 48:05the emotions of the past. Now, think
- 48:06about this.
- 48:08The science says that the environment
- 48:10signals the gene. That's epigenetics.
- 48:12Mhm.
- 48:12The end product of an experience in the
- 48:14environment is an emotion. So, as long
- 48:16as you're living by the same emotion
- 48:18every single day, you're signaling the
- 48:19same gene in the same way. And if that
- 48:21gene is related to a survival emotion, a
- 48:24stress hormone, then you're
- 48:25down-regulating the gene and you're
- 48:27creating disease. So, when the person
- 48:29trades that emotion and really breaks
- 48:31free from the chains of their past,
- 48:34and now they're feeling an elevated
- 48:36emotion, well, now they're dialing down
- 48:38the gene for MS and they're
- 48:40up-regulating the gene for health and
- 48:43balance. And so, the person will you'll
- 48:45say to them, "Where's the disease?"
- 48:46Well, "I'm not the same person.
- 48:48I'm not the And And the side effect of
- 48:52that is a transformation and healing.
- 48:54So,
- 48:55the funny thing about it is the person
- 48:57who has the healing is not talking about
- 48:59the healing.
- 49:01Whether it's blind people seeing, deaf
- 49:02people hearing hearing, we have crazy
- 49:05evidence now.
- 49:06What they're talking about is how
- 49:08amazing they feel.
- 49:09Mhm.
- 49:09Because
- 49:10they're refreshed. They're They're
- 49:12They're They got a new lease on life.
- 49:14And so, now we have evidence in our
- 49:16research
- 49:18and that silences the critic to to show
- 49:20that what's possible for people. So,
- 49:22then if you're sitting in a meditation
- 49:24and your body's throwing the kitchen
- 49:25sink at you and saying, "You're a Ed,
- 49:27you're a loser. You're never going to
- 49:28change. This is too hard. Why don't you
- 49:30quit?" And you're aware that that's your
- 49:32body doing that and you say to your
- 49:33body,
- 49:35"We're going to sit here.
- 49:37And we're going to sit in this fire and
- 49:38I'm going to keep applying the formula
- 49:39and my your brain starts running to all
- 49:41the emails you have to do and you become
- 49:43aware of that and you return back to the
- 49:44present moment and you tell the body
- 49:46it's no longer the mind that you're the
- 49:47mind. Now your will is getting greater
- 49:49than in program and there's a liberation
- 49:51of energy. And every time you do that,
- 49:53that's a victory.
- 49:54Mhm. And you teach people
- 49:55Every time you do that, that's a
- 49:56victory. When your mind tells the body,
- 49:58"I'm in charge."
- 49:59When you say to your When you you want
- 50:01to get up and you want to quit and you
- 50:02go, "Oh,
- 50:03no, that's my body. Bring it back." And
- 50:05now you're Now you're taming the animal.
- 50:07The body is the animal and you're It's
- 50:09like a dog. You sit. And we keep doing
- 50:11this, keep doing this, you're climbing
- 50:13on top and the body finally acquiesces.
- 50:15It finally says, "I'm not going
- 50:17anywhere." And then boom, there's this
- 50:18liberation of energy. What's the side
- 50:19effect? Joy. Person's heart just
- 50:22automatically opens up and and every
- 50:25time they do that, those victories add
- 50:28up. There's no such thing as a bad
- 50:30meditation. There's only overcoming
- 50:33yourself. And when you sit in the fire
- 50:37and you work with that, people say to
- 50:38me, "Why do you meditate every morning?"
- 50:40I say, "Because if I can overcome myself
- 50:42in the morning, the rest of my day is
- 50:43easy. It's easy." Because because that's
- 50:45what it's about. You master yourself,
- 50:47you master your life. And so then all
- 50:49the chatter in your head that you listen
- 50:51to all day long, that is called the
- 50:52default mode network in the brain. Our
- 50:55research shows
- 50:56that shuts off. Not just shuts off
- 50:58during the meditation, it stays shut off
- 51:00for the rest of the day. So the critic
- 51:01in your head that's telling you this
- 51:02will never happen, you don't have enough
- 51:04time, all right.
- 51:05That There's no voice there. So you just
- 51:07have a clear flow on where you're going
- 51:10and you trust yourself more.
- 51:11Look, I mean, we're in a we're in a
- 51:13convenience-based society. I mean, if
- 51:15you if you lose your internet connection
- 51:18or your cell phone doesn't do what it's
- 51:20supposed to. People get angry. Like,
- 51:21that's 20 seconds, right? So here you
- 51:24are creating something out of nothing
- 51:27and you don't have the patience? Well,
- 51:30that has to come out because
- 51:33a very, very masterful person who is
- 51:36abundant had to own impatience. So then
- 51:40never make it be about the end result.
- 51:44Make it be about effort. Every day
- 51:47you're overcoming. Every day you're out
- 51:49of the bleachers and you're on the field
- 51:51and you're giving it your all and you're
- 51:53practicing. Keeping your energy up
- 51:55greater than your habits in your body or
- 51:57the emotional conditioning of your body
- 51:59greater than any circumstance in your
- 52:01environment and sustaining it for an
- 52:02extended period of time and then all of
- 52:04a sudden
- 52:06when you're connected to the energy of
- 52:07your future
- 52:09and you know what that feels like
- 52:11Yeah.
- 52:11you will know the moment you return back
- 52:13to the energy of your past. And if you
- 52:15tell me it's because of your boss or
- 52:16your co-worker or your ex, I'm going to
- 52:18say,
- 52:19"Ah, you're back to the unconscious
- 52:21program that you're the victim of your
- 52:23life, right?" So then So then it it
- 52:25takes some unlearning and the unlearning
- 52:27process is the most important process
- 52:30because once you do that you're clearing
- 52:33out room for the next creation to be
- 52:36easier and the next one to be easier cuz
- 52:38you're starting to understand the
- 52:39formula better and you start saying I'm
- 52:41not going to take that personally or I'm
- 52:42not going to react or I'm not going to
- 52:44go back to that person just going to
- 52:46self-regulate again. You only need a few
- 52:49experiences to know that this is the
- 52:51truth and then you start making start
- 52:53managing your attention and you manage
- 52:55your energy a lot better and I think
- 52:58that I I I always say, "I don't care
- 53:00that you fall off that horse. I just
- 53:01care when you get back on, right?"
- 53:03Because some people fall off and then
- 53:04they have to go into guilt and analysis
- 53:06and and they take weeks and well you
- 53:08could have just said, "Eh, I fell off.
- 53:09Let me just get back on and keep going."
- 53:11The stronger the the emotion you feel
- 53:13from some event in your life, be it a
- 53:15betrayal or a trauma or whatever
- 53:17Yes.
- 53:17the more altered you feel inside of you,
- 53:19the more you pay attention to the cause
- 53:21outside of you. So the brain takes a
- 53:23snapshot. It freezes an image and
- 53:25embosses that pattern neurologically in
- 53:28the brain. That's called a memory. So we
- 53:30create long-term memories from strong
- 53:33emotional events, okay?
- 53:35So is that true that I just want to
- 53:36understand. The maybe the larger the
- 53:38event in terms of its emotion to you,
- 53:39the stronger of a hold it has over you?
- 53:41Yeah, well, the more it's embodied in
- 53:43your biology. So, some certain people
- 53:45have a strong experience in their life
- 53:47and it catches all of the brain's
- 53:49attention. So, now they think
- 53:51neurologically within the circuits of
- 53:53the past experience and they feel
- 53:55chemically within the boundaries of
- 53:57those emotions. And so, how you think
- 53:59and how you feel creates a state of
- 54:00being. Now, here's the problem.
- 54:02That if you don't know how to mediate or
- 54:04control your emotional reaction to that
- 54:06event and you keep that refractory
- 54:09period of chemicals going on for
- 54:11extended periods of time. So, that the
- 54:13event produces a chemical change and the
- 54:16body needs to return back to homeostasis
- 54:18or balance, but if it can't, then the
- 54:20elongation of that emotional reaction
- 54:23for weeks, say, for days or weeks is
- 54:26called a mood. So, you say, "Ed, what's
- 54:27wrong with you?" "I'm in a mood." "Why
- 54:29are you in a mood?" "Well, this thing
- 54:30happened to me 5 days ago and I'm having
- 54:33one long emotional reaction." So, then
- 54:35what you do is you keep telling the
- 54:36story about it, keep firing and wiring
- 54:38the same circuits and you keep
- 54:40conditioning the body into the past. So,
- 54:43then you wake up in the morning and you
- 54:44look for the emotion.
- 54:45So, that now all of a sudden you keep it
- 54:47lingering for for for weeks or months,
- 54:50that's called the temperament. Well, why
- 54:51is he so angry? I don't know, let's ask
- 54:53him. Why are you so angry? Well, this
- 54:54thing happened to me 8 months ago. I'm
- 54:56having one long emotional reaction. I'm
- 54:58memorizing my emotions. You keep it
- 55:00going on for years on end, that's called
- 55:02a personality trait. So, then a person
- 55:05then is memorizing themselves
- 55:08by living in the past. And so, then you
- 55:09say to them, "Well, well, tell me the
- 55:11story." Now, the latest research on
- 55:13memory says that 50%
- 55:16of what we talk about in our past isn't
- 55:18even the truth. So, we make stuff up
- 55:21about the past. In other words, people
- 55:23are reliving a life that they didn't
- 55:25even have just to reaffirm that they
- 55:28can't change, right?
- 55:30So, then what's the significance of
- 55:31this? Where you place your attention is
- 55:33where you place your energy, period. So,
- 55:35then the stronger the emotion that you
- 55:37have to some problem or condition or
- 55:39person in your life, the more you're
- 55:41paying attention to them. So, they
- 55:42captured your attention. So, you're
- 55:44giving your power away
- 55:46Wow.
- 55:46to that person, right? Cuz they're
- 55:48capturing your attention. So, then
- 55:50there's an energetic connection to every
- 55:52person, everything everything in your
- 55:54past present reality has your energy
- 55:56connected to it. So, now, this is the
- 55:58significance. When a person really
- 56:00decides to be defined by a vision of the
- 56:03future instead of the memory of the
- 56:05past, the hardest part about it is all
- 56:08of a sudden becoming conscious and not
- 56:09making the same unconscious choice. So,
- 56:12then,
- 56:13if you lower the volume to your
- 56:15frustration, to your hatred, to your
- 56:17anger, if you truly knew how to do that,
- 56:20if you lowered the volume to that
- 56:22emotion, you would take your attention
- 56:23off that person, which means you would
- 56:25begin to break those energetic bonds,
- 56:27and now you're taking your power back.
- 56:29Three types of stress: physical,
- 56:30chemical, and emotional. Physical
- 56:32stress, trauma, accidents, injuries,
- 56:34falls. Uh chemical stress, toxins,
- 56:37pollutants, heavy metals, blood sugar
- 56:39levels, viruses, bacteria, mold. And
- 56:41then there's emotional stress, which has
- 56:43everything to do with raising kids and
- 56:45and second mortgages and single
- 56:48parenting and time and and all of those
- 56:50different elements knock the brain and
- 56:52body out of balance. And the emotional
- 56:54component has always been the
- 56:55challenging one for most people because
- 56:57you could be in a constant state of
- 56:59fear. And consciously or unconsciously,
- 57:03it doesn't matter the food you eat, it
- 57:05won't matter the type of exercise you
- 57:06do. Uh if you're living in fear, the
- 57:09body is not in any state for growth and
- 57:12repair. So, we have to face this one
- 57:15important element. And And this is the
- 57:17time now.
- 57:18If you're sitting down and you start
- 57:21thinking about uh some future worst-case
- 57:25scenario that you're conjuring up in
- 57:26your mind,
- 57:28and you begin to feel the emotion of
- 57:30that event,
- 57:31your body doesn't know the difference
- 57:33between the event that's taking place in
- 57:36your world, outer world, and what you're
- 57:38creating by emotion or thought alone.
- 57:40So, most people then,
- 57:42they're they're constantly reaffirming
- 57:44their emotional states. So, when it
- 57:46comes time to give up that emotion,
- 57:50they can say, "I really want to do it."
- 57:52But, really the body is stronger than
- 57:54the mind cuz it's been conditioned that
- 57:55way. So,
- 57:57the servant now has become the master.
- 58:00And the person all of a sudden once they
- 58:02step into that unknown, they'd rather
- 58:03feel guilt and suffering cuz at least
- 58:05they can predict it. Being in the
- 58:07unknown is a scary place for most people
- 58:10because the unknown is uncertain. People
- 58:12say to me, "Well, I can't predict my
- 58:14future.
- 58:16I'm in the unknown." And I always say
- 58:17the best way to predict your future is
- 58:18to create it, not from the known, but
- 58:20from the unknown. What thoughts do you
- 58:22want to fire and wire in your brain?
- 58:25What behaviors do you want to
- 58:26demonstrate in one day? The act of
- 58:29rehearsing them mentally, closing your
- 58:31eyes, and rehearsing the action.
- 58:34The rehearsing the reaction of what you
- 58:35want or the action of
- 58:36the the action of what you want by
- 58:38closing your eyes and mentally
- 58:39rehearsing some action.
- 58:41If you're truly present, the brain does
- 58:43not know the difference between what
- 58:44you're imaging and what you're
- 58:45experiencing in 3D world. So, then you
- 58:48begin to install the neurological
- 58:50hardware in your brain to look like the
- 58:52event has already occurred. Now, your
- 58:53brain is no longer a record of the past.
- 58:56Now, it's a map to the future. And if
- 58:58you keep doing it, priming it that way,
- 59:00the hardware becomes a software program,
- 59:02and who knows? You just may start acting
- 59:04like a happy person.
- 59:05I'm not the type of guy who sits in my
- 59:07house meditating 24 hours a day and
- 59:10expect things to come to me. I'm a
- 59:12pragmatist.
- 59:14I'm a practical person. I'm going to
- 59:16take value and information. I'm going to
- 59:18apply it and see if I can gain more
- 59:20value from it. So, the message is not to
- 59:23sit and meditate and just receive
- 59:25universal love and do nothing else.
- 59:28Because my message is to not disengage
- 59:32in life, but to fully engage in life.
- 59:35That's my message.
- 59:36Newtonian world is all about the
- 59:37predictable. It's all about predicting a
- 59:39future.
- 59:40But the quantum model of reality is is
- 59:42about causing an effect. The moment you
- 59:45start feeling abundant and worthy, you
- 59:48are generating wealth. The moment you're
- 59:50empowered and feel it, you're beginning
- 59:52to step towards your success.
- 59:55The moment you start feeling whole, your
- 59:57healing begins. And when you love
- 59:58yourself and you love all of life,
- 1:00:00you'll create an equal. Now you're
- 1:00:02causing an effect.
- 1:00:04And I think that's the the difference
- 1:00:06between living as a victim in your world
- 1:00:08saying, "I am this way because of this
- 1:00:10person or that thing or this experience.
- 1:00:12They made me think and feel this way."
- 1:00:15When you switch that around, you become
- 1:00:16a creator of your world and you start
- 1:00:18saying, "My thinking and my feeling is
- 1:00:21changing an outcome in my life." And
- 1:00:22now, that's a whole different game and
- 1:00:24we start believing more that we're
- 1:00:26creators of reality.
- 1:00:27So, how do we then go from that, like
- 1:00:31mechanistically,
- 1:00:32Mhm.
- 1:00:33to begin this visualization process of
- 1:00:36something that's empowering, it's me in
- 1:00:37a different state, it's my future self.
- 1:00:39Is it meditation? Is it What does that
- 1:00:42look like?
- 1:00:43If you're not being defined by a vision
- 1:00:46of the future,
- 1:00:47then you're left with the old memories
- 1:00:49of the past and you will be predictable
- 1:00:51in your life.
- 1:00:53And if you wake up in the morning and
- 1:00:54you're not being defined by a vision of
- 1:00:56the future, as you see the same people
- 1:00:58and you go to the same places and you do
- 1:01:00the exact same thing at the exact same
- 1:01:02time,
- 1:01:04it's no longer that your personality is
- 1:01:06creating your personal reality. Now your
- 1:01:07personal reality is affecting or
- 1:01:09creating your personality. Your
- 1:01:11environment is really controlling how
- 1:01:13you think and feel unconsciously because
- 1:01:16every person, every thing, every place,
- 1:01:18every experience has a neurological
- 1:01:19network in your brain.
- 1:01:21Every experience that you have with
- 1:01:23every person produces an emotion. So,
- 1:01:25some people will use their boss to
- 1:01:27reaffirm their addiction to judgment.
- 1:01:29They'll use their enemy to reaffirm
- 1:01:30their addiction to hatred. They'll use
- 1:01:32their friends to reaffirm their
- 1:01:33addiction to suffering. So, now they
- 1:01:35need the outer world to feel something.
- 1:01:38So,
- 1:01:40to change then is to be greater than
- 1:01:42your environment, to be greater than the
- 1:01:44conditions in your world. And the
- 1:01:45environment is that seductive. So, then
- 1:01:49why is meditation a tool? Well,
- 1:01:51let's sit down. Let's close our eyes.
- 1:01:54Let's disconnect
- 1:01:55from your outer environment. So, if
- 1:01:57you're seeing less things, there's less
- 1:01:59stimulation going to your brain. If
- 1:02:01you're playing soft music or you have
- 1:02:03your ear plugs in, less sensory
- 1:02:04information coming to your brain. So,
- 1:02:06you're disconnecting from your
- 1:02:07environment. If you can sit your body
- 1:02:10down
- 1:02:11and tell it to stay like an animal. Stay
- 1:02:14right here. I'm going to feed you when
- 1:02:16we're done. You can get up and check
- 1:02:17your emails. You can do all your texts,
- 1:02:19but right now, you're going to sit there
- 1:02:21and obey me.
- 1:02:22So, then when you do that properly and
- 1:02:25the you're not eating anything or
- 1:02:26smelling anything or tasting anything,
- 1:02:28you're not up experiencing and feeling
- 1:02:30anything,
- 1:02:31you would have to agree with me that
- 1:02:33you're being defined by a thought,
- 1:02:35right?
- 1:02:36So, when the body wants to go back to
- 1:02:37its emotional past
- 1:02:40and you become aware that your attention
- 1:02:42is on that emotion and where you place
- 1:02:44your attention is where you place your
- 1:02:45energy, you're siphoning your energy out
- 1:02:48of the present moment into the past. And
- 1:02:50you become aware of that.
- 1:02:52And you settle your body back down in
- 1:02:53the present moment cuz it's saying,
- 1:02:55"Well, it's 8:00. You normally get upset
- 1:02:57cuz you're in traffic around this time."
- 1:02:59And here you are sitting in where you're
- 1:03:00used to feeling anger and you're off
- 1:03:02schedule. "Oh, it's 11:00 and you
- 1:03:04usually check your emails and judge
- 1:03:06everybody." Well,
- 1:03:07the body's looking for that that
- 1:03:09predictable chemical state.
- 1:03:11Every time you become aware that you're
- 1:03:13doing that and your body is craving
- 1:03:16those emotions and you settle it back
- 1:03:18down into the present moment. You're
- 1:03:19telling the body
- 1:03:21it's no longer the mind, that you're the
- 1:03:23mind, and now your will is getting
- 1:03:26greater than the program. And if you
- 1:03:27keep doing this over and over again,
- 1:03:29over and over again, over and over
- 1:03:30again, just like training a stallion
- 1:03:32or a dog, it's just going to say,
- 1:03:35"I'm going to sit." And the moment that
- 1:03:37happens, when the body's no longer the
- 1:03:39mind, when it finally surrenders,
- 1:03:42there's a liberation of energy.
- 1:03:44We go from particle to wave, from matter
- 1:03:46to energy, and we free ourselves from
- 1:03:49the chains of those emotions that keep
- 1:03:51us in the in the familiar past. And
- 1:03:53we've seen this thousands of times. In
- 1:03:55fact, we can actually predict it now on
- 1:03:57a brain scan.
- 1:03:58When I'm going through change in my life
- 1:04:00or I have a specific outcome that I want
- 1:04:03to create, I love to get up early in the
- 1:04:05morning. That's my time. I'm a 4:30 in
- 1:04:07the morning guy because
- 1:04:09that's my time. The rest of the day I'm
- 1:04:12serving, but I love getting up early and
- 1:04:14changing and working and and having some
- 1:04:17time to myself. And I believe that when
- 1:04:18I invest in myself, I invest in my
- 1:04:21future. And that time in my in my
- 1:04:23morning, nobody bothers me because
- 1:04:25that's my time.
- 1:04:27And because of brain waves and brain
- 1:04:28chemistry,
- 1:04:30the door between the conscious mind and
- 1:04:31the subconscious mind is more open.
- 1:04:34And so if I get up early and I'm kind of
- 1:04:36between theta and alpha, I don't have to
- 1:04:39work as hard. I'm not thinking, I just
- 1:04:41kind of relax into the moment.
- 1:04:43In the evening, I always ask myself,
- 1:04:45"How did I do?
- 1:04:46How was one lifetime in one day? Where
- 1:04:49did I fall from grace? What happened?"
- 1:04:51And so then when I look at seeing how I
- 1:04:54reacted to someone or something or I
- 1:04:56made the
- 1:04:58choice that I could have made a better
- 1:04:59choice, I naturally, and we all do this,
- 1:05:02begin to think, "Well, if the same
- 1:05:03situation happened again, how would I do
- 1:05:05it differently?"
- 1:05:07And that's the act of beginning to come
- 1:05:09up with a new plan.
- 1:05:11The act of rehearsing it in your mind
- 1:05:14begins to install the circuits in your
- 1:05:15brain, priming your brain so that when
- 1:05:18the next experience happens, you could
- 1:05:19modify your behaviors and do a better
- 1:05:21job in life. That's called plasticity.
- 1:05:23So,
- 1:05:25it doesn't matter for me what meditation
- 1:05:27I do any longer. I like to just get up
- 1:05:30in a new state of being. I have people
- 1:05:32say to me, "Hey, um
- 1:05:34I missed my meditation today." Like I'm
- 1:05:36supposed to go like this or something.
- 1:05:39And I say to them,
- 1:05:41"Eyes open or eyes closed?"
- 1:05:44You know, well, eyes open or eyes
- 1:05:45closed. You know, when you're passionate
- 1:05:47about something, you know, when people
- 1:05:49can't get up in the morning and they
- 1:05:51can't get out of bed, I'm going to tell
- 1:05:53you why. Because they can predict the
- 1:05:55feeling of everything that's going to
- 1:05:56happen in their life and their body is
- 1:05:58resigned to the familiar. It says, "Oh,
- 1:06:00another mundane day." But remember when
- 1:06:03you were a kid and you were going on a
- 1:06:04field trip?
- 1:06:06What happened then?
- 1:06:07You were up and dressed and ready to go
- 1:06:09before your parents were up. You know
- 1:06:11why? Because you knew something
- 1:06:12unexpected was going to happen. That's
- 1:06:14how we should live our lives, waking up
- 1:06:16with the understanding to expect the
- 1:06:18unexpected and something unusual should
- 1:06:21happen in our life as a result of our
- 1:06:23efforts. And it's just those beginning
- 1:06:25moments where it begins to happen that
- 1:06:28we begin to prove to ourselves how
- 1:06:29powerful we really are. So, take time in
- 1:06:32the morning and the evening and the rest
- 1:06:33of the day, check in with yourself at
- 1:06:35certain times to see if you're still in
- 1:06:37that energy. And if you're not, excuse
- 1:06:39yourself for a second, raise your
- 1:06:41energy, and step back into your life. If
- 1:06:43you keep doing that over and over again,
- 1:06:46you'll become less frustrated, less
- 1:06:47impatient, less judgmental. It'll just
- 1:06:49become something of the past and you'll
- 1:06:51be someone else. The hardest part about
- 1:06:54change is not making the same choice as
- 1:06:57you did the day before.
- 1:06:59And the moment you decide to no longer
- 1:07:02think the same way,
- 1:07:04make the same choice,
- 1:07:06act the same way,
- 1:07:07create the same experience, or live by
- 1:07:10the same emotion. It's going to feel
- 1:07:12uncomfortable.
- 1:07:14It's going to feel unfamiliar. There is
- 1:07:17going to be a certain amount of
- 1:07:18uncertainty and unpredictability.
- 1:07:21And the moment you feel uncomfortable,
- 1:07:23you just stepped into the river of
- 1:07:25change.
- 1:07:27Now, most people, the moment they feel
- 1:07:28uncomfortable, they return back to the
- 1:07:31familiar state of the mind and body.
- 1:07:32They start thinking the same way, acting
- 1:07:34the same way, feeling the same way, and
- 1:07:36they say, "This feels right." No, in
- 1:07:39fact, that feels familiar.
- 1:07:41Now, going from the old self to the new
- 1:07:43self
- 1:07:45is the neurological,
- 1:07:47is the chemical, is the biological, is
- 1:07:50the hormonal, and even genetic death of
- 1:07:52the old self.
- 1:07:54That void, that place of uncertainty,
- 1:07:57that unknown,
- 1:07:59is the perfect place to create in.
- 1:08:01And if you and I can become comfortable
- 1:08:03in that unknown, and begin to decide who
- 1:08:06we do want to be.
- 1:08:07In other words, many people say when
- 1:08:09they're in that unknown, "I can't
- 1:08:10predict my future.
- 1:08:12This doesn't feel right."
- 1:08:14Well, the best way to predict your
- 1:08:15future is to create it, not in the
- 1:08:18known, but in the unknown.
- 1:08:20So, what if you said now, "What thoughts
- 1:08:23do I want to fire and wire in my brain?
- 1:08:26What behaviors do I want to
- 1:08:28demonstrate?"
- 1:08:30And if you were to close your eyes and
- 1:08:32begin to think about how you were going
- 1:08:34to act,
- 1:08:35the mere act of mentally rehearsing who
- 1:08:38you're going to be,
- 1:08:40begins to install the neurological
- 1:08:42circuits in your brain to look like the
- 1:08:45experience has already occurred. Now,
- 1:08:47what that means is that the brain is
- 1:08:49primed in its circuitry to no longer be
- 1:08:52living in the past, but now living in
- 1:08:55the future. We have people that have
- 1:08:57been abused. We have people that have
- 1:08:59been traumatized, that have been um
- 1:09:02assaulted. We have people that have had
- 1:09:05very, very difficult, difficult pasts.
- 1:09:08And have you ever heard me say to to
- 1:09:12revisit the event?
- 1:09:14No.
- 1:09:14Have you ever heard me say that? Never.
- 1:09:17Do we need to revisit the event because
- 1:09:19once you do, you open the box.
- 1:09:22But what we want to do is overcome the
- 1:09:24emotion cuz that's just what's lasting
- 1:09:27from the event. Living in guilt or grief
- 1:09:30or shame or unworthiness. I had someone
- 1:09:32tell me they lost a loved one the other
- 1:09:34day. I said, "Well, okay. How long you
- 1:09:36been grieving?" "Oh, about a year."
- 1:09:38Really? Okay, well, suppose it was you
- 1:09:41that left and you were looking at the
- 1:09:42person you love moping around for a
- 1:09:44year. What would you say to them after a
- 1:09:46year if you truly loved them?
- 1:09:48Get over it and have a happy life. I'm
- 1:09:49doing great.
- 1:09:51You should make yourself happy. You
- 1:09:52really love me?
- 1:09:54Live a happy life. That would be the
- 1:09:56greatest greatest testament of love for
- 1:09:57each other.
- 1:09:59Because if you're suffering, then I got
- 1:10:01you know, you're making this hard on me.
- 1:10:03And so then we always have to update our
- 1:10:06versions
- 1:10:07about reality because it's the only way
- 1:10:10that we adapt.
- 1:10:12Don't believe everything you've read or
- 1:10:14heard.
- 1:10:16It just may not be the truth.
- 1:10:18There's always a greater truth that you
- 1:10:20and I can begin to investigate. Surely
- 1:10:23someone in eternity has had a similar
- 1:10:26problem as you and I and they've gotten
- 1:10:28beyond it. Yes or no?
- 1:10:29Yes.
- 1:10:30So study that person.
- 1:10:32You want to be wealthy? Study wealthy
- 1:10:34people.
- 1:10:36Don't just have some panacea that you're
- 1:10:38just going to get wealthy. Read about
- 1:10:41wealthy people and find out that they
- 1:10:42lost everything and failed miserably 20,
- 1:10:4550 times.
- 1:10:47But what they had as a
- 1:10:49a characteristic, a quality in their
- 1:10:51personality is they were persistent. And
- 1:10:53they kept changing and they kept
- 1:10:55forgiving and letting go of the past and
- 1:10:57kept going. And sooner or later they ran
- 1:11:00into it and when they had all the money
- 1:11:01they wanted it was never about the
- 1:11:03money. It was just about that they could
- 1:11:05prove to themselves that they can do it.
- 1:11:07And you and I are no different than
- 1:11:09that. But if you can't create a future
- 1:11:12because of some emotion that keeps you
- 1:11:14in the past, you're going to have to
- 1:11:16square off with that emotion. And when
- 1:11:18you sit down and your body has all those
- 1:11:20physical sensations and it's getting
- 1:11:22vigilant and it wants to get up and it
- 1:11:24wants to move and what and you're just
- 1:11:26going, "Wow."
- 1:11:28And you're settling it down and you're
- 1:11:30working with it, you got to agree with
- 1:11:33me
- 1:11:34that something greater in you is
- 1:11:37climbing out of that body. Something
- 1:11:38greater in you is awakening.
- 1:11:41And when you're able to overcome those
- 1:11:43emotions, truly break the addiction,
- 1:11:46don't you know that you'll return back
- 1:11:48to your life and face the person that
- 1:11:51betrayed you?
- 1:11:53And you will see a part of yourself that
- 1:11:55you used to be that you no longer are
- 1:11:57and you're not going to have anything
- 1:11:58else but love for them. In fact, you're
- 1:12:00going to have compassion for them
- 1:12:02because you're going to realize how
- 1:12:04stuck they are and you're liberated and
- 1:12:06free. If you think about this, your
- 1:12:08senses plug you into your external
- 1:12:11environment. Everything you're seeing or
- 1:12:13smelling or tasting or feeling or
- 1:12:15hearing, all of your five senses are
- 1:12:17affecting your brain. So, if you're
- 1:12:19waking up in the morning and you're
- 1:12:21going through the same routine behaviors
- 1:12:23as you did the day before, and you're
- 1:12:25not in the process of being defined by a
- 1:12:28vision of the future,
- 1:12:30then you're for the most part left with
- 1:12:32the old hardware in your brain from the
- 1:12:34past. As a matter of fact, your brain is
- 1:12:36organized to reflect everything you know
- 1:12:39from the past. So, as people wake up and
- 1:12:41they begin to pay attention to their
- 1:12:43body, they start to look around in their
- 1:12:45environment, they start to do typical
- 1:12:47things, it's the external environment
- 1:12:49that's turning on different circuits in
- 1:12:51their brain causing them to think equal
- 1:12:53to their environment.
- 1:12:55And if you have the idea that your
- 1:12:56thoughts have something to do with your
- 1:12:57destiny, as long as you're thinking
- 1:13:00equal to your environment, you keep
- 1:13:02creating the same reality over and over
- 1:13:04again.
- 1:13:05So, to change is to think greater than
- 1:13:07your environment. To think greater than
- 1:13:09the circumstances in your world. To
- 1:13:11think greater than the conditions in
- 1:13:12your life. And I think every great
- 1:13:14person in history understood this. They
- 1:13:16were defined by a vision that was much
- 1:13:18bigger than them.
- 1:13:18Think of your autonomic nervous system
- 1:13:21as the automatic nervous system. And
- 1:13:23I've been saying for years that
- 1:13:25autonomic is synonymous with automatic.
- 1:13:27And it's that part of our systems, the
- 1:13:31part of our nervous system, that
- 1:13:33functions behind the scenes of our
- 1:13:35awareness. And it regulates body
- 1:13:37temperature and and hormones and blood
- 1:13:40supply and blood sugar levels.
- 1:13:43And it and it happens without any
- 1:13:46of our conscious mind.
- 1:13:48So, in the autonomic nervous system,
- 1:13:50there are two branches. So, one is the
- 1:13:52sympathetic nervous system. And its job
- 1:13:55is for protection
- 1:13:58from threats and dangers in our outer
- 1:14:01environment. And think of the
- 1:14:02sympathetic nervous system as the gas
- 1:14:04pedal. And when there's a danger to the
- 1:14:07gross anatomy of the body by something
- 1:14:10in our outer world that we can perceive
- 1:14:12with our senses,
- 1:14:13this system is switched on
- 1:14:15automatically. And once it turns on,
- 1:14:18there's a host of physiological
- 1:14:19functions that begin to happen
- 1:14:22automatically.
- 1:14:23And when that occurs, we're mobilizing
- 1:14:26all of the body's energy.
- 1:14:28All of the body's resources for that
- 1:14:31threat or that danger to deal with it.
- 1:14:33And And when it's switched on,
- 1:14:35we don't go half in, we go all the way
- 1:14:38in because we have to make sure that the
- 1:14:39body is going to survive. Survive in a
- 1:14:42threat or a danger in the outer
- 1:14:44environment. And And when there's a
- 1:14:46release of all those adrenal hormones,
- 1:14:49we're tapping the body's resources
- 1:14:52and we're mobilizing all of its energy.
- 1:14:54And pupils dilate, salivary juices shut
- 1:14:56off, respiratory rate increases, heart
- 1:14:59rate increases, blood is sent to the
- 1:15:01extremities, glucose is mobilized, the
- 1:15:04immune system dials up and then it dials
- 1:15:05down. And all of these systems switching
- 1:15:08on and and turning on is to be able to
- 1:15:11allow the body to adapt to some threat
- 1:15:14in the outer world. And
- 1:15:17that is the gas pedal. And the
- 1:15:19sympathetic nervous system or the fight
- 1:15:20or flight nervous system causes us to
- 1:15:22really do just a few things. To run from
- 1:15:26the danger, to fight and stay, or to
- 1:15:30freeze and hide. And those are the
- 1:15:33primary choices that we have created in
- 1:15:35evolution.
- 1:15:36And so
- 1:15:38when the sympathetic nervous system is
- 1:15:39switched on and we as we've been saying
- 1:15:42for very long for very long time
- 1:15:45uh
- 1:15:46the short-term effect of the hormones of
- 1:15:48stress, the body can adapt and return
- 1:15:51back to balance and it switches on
- 1:15:53the other nervous system, that branch of
- 1:15:56the autonomic nervous system called the
- 1:15:57parasympathetic nervous system.
- 1:16:00And think of that nervous system as the
- 1:16:02brake
- 1:16:03or the clutch.
- 1:16:05This is where the body conserves energy.
- 1:16:08This is where utilizes nutrients and and
- 1:16:11transports chemicals to cells and
- 1:16:13metabolism goes up. And And this is a
- 1:16:16time for growth. This is a time for
- 1:16:17repair. This is a time for restoration.
- 1:16:20And there's a delicate balance between
- 1:16:22the sympathetic nervous system and the
- 1:16:24parasympathetic nervous system.
- 1:16:27And so then when you're feeling
- 1:16:30constant fear, when you're feeling
- 1:16:32constant anger or aggression, when
- 1:16:34you're feeling constant pain and
- 1:16:36suffering, and you're living by the
- 1:16:38hormones of stress,
- 1:16:40what was once very adaptive is now very
- 1:16:42maladaptive because if stress is
- 1:16:44knocking your brain and body out of
- 1:16:46balance and the stress response is what
- 1:16:48the body does to return it back to
- 1:16:49order.
- 1:16:50If we're living in constant fear, then
- 1:16:52we are tapping the body's vital
- 1:16:54resources and there's no energy for
- 1:16:57growth, repair, restoration. There's no
- 1:16:59energy for long-term building project.
- 1:17:0270% of the time people live in stress
- 1:17:04and living in stress is living in
- 1:17:06survival. Now,
- 1:17:08all organisms in nature can tolerate
- 1:17:10short-term stress. You know, a deer gets
- 1:17:12chased
- 1:17:14by a pack of coyotes. When it outruns
- 1:17:16the coyotes, it goes back to grazing and
- 1:17:18the event is over. And the definition of
- 1:17:20stress is when your brain and body are
- 1:17:22knocked out of balance, out of
- 1:17:23homeostasis.
- 1:17:25The stress response is what the body
- 1:17:27innately does to return itself back to
- 1:17:29order. So, you're driving down the road,
- 1:17:32someone cuts you off, you jam on the
- 1:17:33brakes, you may
- 1:17:34give them the finger, and then you
- 1:17:36settle back down and the event is over
- 1:17:38and boom. Now, everything's back back to
- 1:17:40normal.
- 1:17:41But, what if it's not a predator that's
- 1:17:44waiting for you outside the cave, but
- 1:17:47what if it's your co-worker
- 1:17:49sitting right next to you and all day
- 1:17:51long you're turning on those chemicals
- 1:17:53cuz they're pushing all your emotional
- 1:17:55buttons.
- 1:17:56When you turn on the stress response
- 1:17:59and you can't turn it off, now you're
- 1:18:01headed for a disease cuz no organism in
- 1:18:03nature can live in emergency mode for
- 1:18:05that extended period of time. It's a
- 1:18:07scientific fact
- 1:18:09that the hormones of stress downregulate
- 1:18:12genes and create disease, long-term
- 1:18:14effects.
- 1:18:15Human beings because of the size of the
- 1:18:17neocortex, we can turn on the stress
- 1:18:19response just by thought alone. We can
- 1:18:20think about our problems and turn on
- 1:18:22those chemicals.
- 1:18:23That means then our thoughts could make
- 1:18:27us sick.
- 1:18:28So, if it's possible that our thoughts
- 1:18:30could make us sick, is it possible that
- 1:18:32our thoughts could make us well? The
- 1:18:34answer is absolutely yes. So then, what
- 1:18:37are the emotions that are connected to
- 1:18:39survival? Let's name them.
- 1:18:41Anger, aggression, hostility, hatred,
- 1:18:44competition, fear, anxiety, worry, pain,
- 1:18:49suffering, guilt, shame, unworthiness,
- 1:18:53envy, jealousy. Those are all created by
- 1:18:55the hormones of stress. And And
- 1:18:57psychology calls them normal human
- 1:18:59states of consciousness. I call those
- 1:19:02altered states of consciousness.
- 1:19:04So, then we tend to remember those
- 1:19:06traumatic events more because in
- 1:19:08survival, you better be ready if it
- 1:19:10happens again. That's And And And when
- 1:19:12the survival gene is switched on, you
- 1:19:13could have 10 really great things that
- 1:19:15happened to you in your day.
- 1:19:17And you just have one bad thing that
- 1:19:19happens, and you cannot take your
- 1:19:21attention off that bad that that unhappy
- 1:19:23thing because the survival gene is
- 1:19:25switched on. Many years ago, after the
- 1:19:28DNA helix was discovered by Watson and
- 1:19:30Crick,
- 1:19:31uh they said the blueprints of life. You
- 1:19:33know, all diseases are created from
- 1:19:36genes. Turns out less than 5% more like
- 1:19:391% of people on the planet are born with
- 1:19:41a genetic condition like type 1 diabetes
- 1:19:44or Tay-Sachs disease or sickle cell
- 1:19:46anemia.
- 1:19:47The other 95 to 99%
- 1:19:50are created by lifestyle and by choices.
- 1:19:52You can take two identical twins, exact
- 1:19:55same genome. One dies at 51, the other
- 1:19:57one dies at 85. Hm, same gene, different
- 1:20:00environment. So,
- 1:20:03all of a sudden they said, "We lied.
- 1:20:05That was wrong. It's not genes that
- 1:20:07create disease. It's the environment
- 1:20:09that signals the gene that creates
- 1:20:11disease." Well, okay,
- 1:20:12but that's not the whole truth, too,
- 1:20:14because you could have two people
- 1:20:15working side by side in the same
- 1:20:17factory.
- 1:20:18One gets cancer after being exposed to a
- 1:20:21carcinogenic for 25 years. Both working
- 1:20:23for 25 years, the other one has no
- 1:20:25cancer at all.
- 1:20:26So, there must be some internal order
- 1:20:30that would cause one person to not get
- 1:20:32it while another one does. So, is it
- 1:20:35possible then
- 1:20:36if the environment signals the gene, and
- 1:20:38it does, and the end product of an
- 1:20:40experience in the environment is called
- 1:20:42an emotion,
- 1:20:44can you signal the gene ahead of the
- 1:20:45environment by embracing an elevated
- 1:20:48emotion?
- 1:20:49We've done the research on this. We We
- 1:20:51measured 7,500
- 1:20:53different gene expressions in a group of
- 1:20:55people
- 1:20:56that came to an advanced event for 4
- 1:20:58days.
- 1:21:00And we had them doing a seated
- 1:21:02meditation, a walking meditation, a
- 1:21:04laying down meditation, a standing
- 1:21:05meditation. And at the end of 4 days,
- 1:21:08just 4 days,
- 1:21:10the common eight genes that were
- 1:21:12upregulated, two genes to suppress
- 1:21:14cancer cells and tumor growth, two genes
- 1:21:17for neurogenesis, the growth of new
- 1:21:19neurons in response to novel experiences
- 1:21:21and learning, the gene that signals stem
- 1:21:24cells to go to damaged areas and repair
- 1:21:27them, the gene for oxidative stress, was
- 1:21:30upregulated. We started seeing all these
- 1:21:32genes that are very, very healthy to
- 1:21:34cause the body to flourish. Imagine if
- 1:21:36people were doing that for 3 months. We
- 1:21:38also measured telomeres, the little
- 1:21:41shoestrings on the end of DNA that tell
- 1:21:43us our biological age. We asked people
- 1:21:46to do the work, meditation 5 out of 7
- 1:21:49days for 60 days.
- 1:21:51Measure their telomeres to determine
- 1:21:53their biological age. 60 days later, 74%
- 1:21:58of the people lengthened their
- 1:21:59telomeres. 40% significant change. 20% a
- 1:22:03very remarkable change. That means that
- 1:22:05they got a little bit of their life
- 1:22:06back. If they had lengthened by 10%,
- 1:22:09they got 10% of their life back.
- 1:22:11I think um
- 1:22:13we're living in such an amazing time
- 1:22:15right now. I mean, if you are not being
- 1:22:17challenged in some way in your life,
- 1:22:19you're not alive.
- 1:22:21And all of this is an initiation.
- 1:22:25And I don't believe that you have to go
- 1:22:28to any school of ancient wisdom perched
- 1:22:30in the Himalayas
- 1:22:32or for information or training any
- 1:22:34longer. If you see your life
- 1:22:37as the school, as the initiation, then
- 1:22:39you can no longer be a victim to your
- 1:22:42life. You're going to have to meet the
- 1:22:43challenges in your life from a greater
- 1:22:46level of mind, greater than the mind
- 1:22:48that created it. And so
- 1:22:51there have been plenty of peer-reviewed
- 1:22:53articles on the power of peace gathering
- 1:22:55projects that lower crime, that lower
- 1:22:58trauma, incidences of of
- 1:23:01death and
- 1:23:03economic growth. It's all related to
- 1:23:05what's happening right now for us.
- 1:23:08And it's not enough though for us to
- 1:23:10just focus on peace
- 1:23:12and expect the world to change because
- 1:23:16in the peace gathering projects, when
- 1:23:18the event was over, a lot of the crime
- 1:23:22and violence returned back to its
- 1:23:24ceiling level again.
- 1:23:26It's more important for us
- 1:23:29not only to embody that peace and feel
- 1:23:32it, but then to demonstrate it.
- 1:23:34And when we begin to demonstrate it,
- 1:23:37I think we give people permission to do
- 1:23:39the same.
- 1:23:41That means that we can't be preaching
- 1:23:43peace and then be stuck in traffic and
- 1:23:45you know, flipping people off or
- 1:23:48you know, or arguing with your
- 1:23:49co-worker. You don't get to stand up for
- 1:23:51peace if you have conflict in your life.
- 1:23:55So when we start, I believe, start start
- 1:23:57self-contemplative process of looking
- 1:24:00within and instead of judging someone or
- 1:24:02something, look to see if there's an
- 1:24:04aspect of ourselves within that person
- 1:24:07or within that situation that we may
- 1:24:10need to change. And if we're all doing
- 1:24:11that at the same time, something
- 1:24:13greater, greater consciousness is going
- 1:24:16to emerge.
- 1:24:17And so I believe that it should never be
- 1:24:19about a person.
- 1:24:22It should be about principles.
- 1:24:24And when we stand up for principles,
- 1:24:26that creates community. Because you
- 1:24:28could be one belief or another belief,
- 1:24:30but if you're sharing the same
- 1:24:31principles, which are joy and freedom
- 1:24:35and cooperation and connection, that's
- 1:24:37what builds communities.
- 1:24:39So then
- 1:24:41everything in our world right now is
- 1:24:43reminding us of separation.
- 1:24:46Whether it's war, whether it's violence,
- 1:24:48whether it's political deceit, whether
- 1:24:51it's prejudice, all of those things
- 1:24:53cause us to live by those stress
- 1:24:55hormones. And when we're living in that
- 1:24:57state of survival, we're not trusting
- 1:25:00and we become more selfish.
- 1:25:02So then
- 1:25:04starting our day asking ourselves what
- 1:25:06would be the greatest expression of
- 1:25:08myself I'd like to present to the world.
- 1:25:10And then making the choice to not get up
- 1:25:13until we are that person,
- 1:25:15I think that begins to demonstrate
- 1:25:17greatness.
- 1:25:18And when there is adversity and when
- 1:25:20there are challenges in our life, the
- 1:25:22question of course becomes how do we
- 1:25:24become supernatural?
- 1:25:27And that means we're going to have to do
- 1:25:28what feels unnatural at first. When
- 1:25:31everybody else is in poverty and lack,
- 1:25:34that's the time to give.
- 1:25:37When everybody else is in fear and
- 1:25:38vigilance, that's the time to show
- 1:25:40courage.
- 1:25:42When people are angry and hating and
- 1:25:44prejudice, that's the time to show
- 1:25:45compassion. When people are competing to
- 1:25:48rush to get to the top, that's the time
- 1:25:50to change your energy and draw the
- 1:25:51experience to you.
- 1:25:53And if you keep doing what's unnatural
- 1:25:56over and over again, sooner or later
- 1:25:58you're going to become supernatural.
- 1:26:00There was another thing that you said
- 1:26:01that I thought was really powerful about
- 1:26:03how insights themselves are essentially
- 1:26:05inert. They don't do anything.
- 1:26:08Um what what then do we do with an
- 1:26:10insight? How do we take a breakthrough
- 1:26:12moment and make sure that it's not just
- 1:26:14a breakthrough moment? Like I guarantee
- 1:26:15people watching right now are having
- 1:26:17like 100 aha moments. For sure that was
- 1:26:20definitely the case for me as I was
- 1:26:21researching you. And when you said that,
- 1:26:23I was like, "And that's the danger. That
- 1:26:25you have the aha and then nothing."
- 1:26:26Yeah. Yeah, and that's it's a it is a
- 1:26:28danger because then people will will
- 1:26:30shrink back into mediocrity and they'll
- 1:26:33use the insight to excuse them from
- 1:26:35taking a leap.
- 1:26:36They'll say, "Yeah, you know, I have a
- 1:26:38chemical imbalance in my brain. Yeah, my
- 1:26:40father was really overbearing. He was a
- 1:26:43perfectionist. That's why I am the way I
- 1:26:45am." You know, people they come up with
- 1:26:47stuff to to excuse themselves. The
- 1:26:49insight is actually giving them
- 1:26:52permission to stay limited. And it's
- 1:26:54it's it's it's it's an amazing idea
- 1:26:56because they'll say to you
- 1:26:59that they really want to get over their
- 1:27:00anxiety. But let's Okay, let's take your
- 1:27:04ex-husband. Let's put him in a
- 1:27:05straightjacket. Let's duct tape him and
- 1:27:07shoot him to the moon. Now what? I mean,
- 1:27:09what are you going to do now? You still
- 1:27:11have to make those changes. And so then
- 1:27:14the person's enemy dies or their
- 1:27:16something shifts in their life and that
- 1:27:19person's gone, they'll find another
- 1:27:20person to hate. This just how we
- 1:27:23function as human beings. We just slide
- 1:27:25another
- 1:27:26reason to feel those emotions. So,
- 1:27:28I think I think when people start to
- 1:27:30understand this, you know, I I think
- 1:27:31knowledge is power. But knowledge about
- 1:27:33yourself is self-empowerment.
- 1:27:35Crossing that river of change from the
- 1:27:37old self to the new self, there's a
- 1:27:39neurological, biological, chemical,
- 1:27:41hormonal, a genetic death of the old
- 1:27:44self. But if you teach people there's
- 1:27:46something on the other side, they won't
- 1:27:48give up on themselves. They'll keep
- 1:27:50going. So, there's enough evidence to
- 1:27:52encourage people. And you can't tell me
- 1:27:53you're too old to do this work. You
- 1:27:55can't tell me you're too sick to do this
- 1:27:56work. You can't tell me you had a
- 1:27:58turbulent past or or that you're too
- 1:28:00overweight or too underweight or too out
- 1:28:02of shape or you can't even tell me that
- 1:28:05you've never meditated before. In fact,
- 1:28:06some of our greatest scans are people
- 1:28:09who just have never meditated before
- 1:28:11that are not trying do anything. They
- 1:28:12just follow instructions. So,
- 1:28:15our community now is beginning to
- 1:28:17understand that it is possible and they
- 1:28:20go all in, not 50% in, not 60% in. When
- 1:28:24we do a week-long event, we got a
- 1:28:26thousand people or 1,500 people and they
- 1:28:28are all in and that when they start
- 1:28:30getting beyond themselves that first day
- 1:28:32or second day, once they start getting
- 1:28:35beyond themselves
- 1:28:36and that magic starts to happen, then I
- 1:28:39have no idea. I can't predict what's
- 1:28:42going to happen next and it's usually
- 1:28:43pretty pretty exciting.
- 1:28:44Do you speak about the neurophysiology
- 1:28:47of forgiveness?
- 1:28:50Sure.
- 1:28:56Think about
- 1:28:58frozen circuits.
- 1:29:00Frozen circuits are hardwired circuits.
- 1:29:04The more profound
- 1:29:07the insult
- 1:29:08to the person
- 1:29:10that is connected to a strong emotion,
- 1:29:14the more the brain freezes circuitry.
- 1:29:18The more we think about the experience,
- 1:29:22the more we fire and wire the circuits
- 1:29:25in our brain. Yes or no?
- 1:29:27Yes.
- 1:29:27And the more we remember the event, the
- 1:29:29more we produce the emotions that are
- 1:29:31associated with it and we're
- 1:29:33conditioning the brain and body further
- 1:29:34into the past. Yes or no?
- 1:29:36Yes.
- 1:29:37And if you keep doing it enough times,
- 1:29:39it's no longer conscious that you're
- 1:29:41holding a grudge.
- 1:29:43It's no longer conscious
- 1:29:46that
- 1:29:47you're stuck.
- 1:29:49It's now you're seeing everybody through
- 1:29:51the lens of that experience and
- 1:29:53everybody's a betrayer.
- 1:29:55Everybody can't be trusted. Everybody
- 1:29:59is that same person. You're You're
- 1:30:00overlaying
- 1:30:02the memory of of your experience into
- 1:30:05reality.
- 1:30:06You're not seeing it the way it is,
- 1:30:09you're seeing that person wearing the
- 1:30:11mask of the last person.
- 1:30:13That's the lens that we're perceiving
- 1:30:15reality. Are you with me still?
- 1:30:17And so then anything in your life that
- 1:30:19becomes remotely close to it based on
- 1:30:22your limited perception triggers the
- 1:30:24emotion in the network and you're back
- 1:30:27in your past and you're acting like you
- 1:30:29were when it happened.
- 1:30:30Are you with me still?
- 1:30:31Yes.
- 1:30:32And so then the person says, "I'm not
- 1:30:34that person." And you say, "Oh, no, I
- 1:30:36know. I just had this event in my past
- 1:30:38and I'm sorry."
- 1:30:39And then it's excusable, but then here
- 1:30:41it happens again.
- 1:30:42And there's nothing wrong with this
- 1:30:45We all do it.
- 1:30:46It's just how do we overcome it?
- 1:30:48So then
- 1:30:50you're sitting and doing the work
- 1:30:54and you're you're moving energy up those
- 1:30:57centers, you're releasing the life force
- 1:31:01into your brain.
- 1:31:03You are
- 1:31:04blessing those centers and taking a
- 1:31:06scoop and moving it all the way up and
- 1:31:09releasing it all the way up into the
- 1:31:10field. You're opening the channel.
- 1:31:12You're unfolding as nobody, no one, no
- 1:31:14thing, nowhere, and no time and the
- 1:31:16identity and the personality is gone.
- 1:31:18Energy is going to move. It's got to.
- 1:31:20It's going to follow the path.
- 1:31:23You're opening your heart. Once it gets
- 1:31:24to your heart, it's going to make its
- 1:31:25way all the way up and when you feel
- 1:31:27love and compassion
- 1:31:29when you feel true true kindness and
- 1:31:31care, it's hard to hold a grudge.
- 1:31:34Are you with me still?
- 1:31:35Yes.
- 1:31:36So then from a
- 1:31:39quantum physics point of view
- 1:31:42you have that person always in the back
- 1:31:45of your mind, right? You have the event
- 1:31:47in the memory rolling around back there
- 1:31:50because the very thing that you don't
- 1:31:52want to have happen, you're already
- 1:31:54preparing for emotionally.
- 1:31:56Are you with me still?
- 1:31:57Yep.
- 1:31:58So then from a quantum perspective, you
- 1:32:00are actually as a creator of reality
- 1:32:04holding yourself hostage because of that
- 1:32:08person.
- 1:32:09And you are holding them hostage because
- 1:32:12of that experience and you have an
- 1:32:14energetic bond that's connecting you to
- 1:32:16them.
- 1:32:17And you're sharing the same energy.
- 1:32:20And so then you're using each other to
- 1:32:22reaffirm whatever that energetic
- 1:32:24agreement is.
- 1:32:26Are you with me still?
- 1:32:27So then
- 1:32:29when you forgive someone it's because
- 1:32:32there's been a strong change in your
- 1:32:35emotional state.
- 1:32:37Cuz the emotion is what's keeping you
- 1:32:39energetically bound to them or to more
- 1:32:42than one person.
- 1:32:43And so then once you start lowering the
- 1:32:46volume to that emotion and the body
- 1:32:48starts liberating energy and you're
- 1:32:50calling your energy back to you because
- 1:32:53the lower the volume of the emotion the
- 1:32:55less you're going to pay attention to
- 1:32:56that person there comes a moment where
- 1:32:58there's a snap. There's a release. The
- 1:33:01energy is broken and once it's broken
- 1:33:04now all of a sudden you free yourself.
- 1:33:08And you free them.
- 1:33:10And this has happened to me in my life.
- 1:33:14The people show up 10 years later
- 1:33:17completely changed and so
- 1:33:20humble and so asking for forgiveness
- 1:33:23just because
- 1:33:25they had transformed and and I let them
- 1:33:27go.
- 1:33:28So then
- 1:33:30forgiveness
- 1:33:31from a quantum perspective and a
- 1:33:34neurophysiological perspective is just
- 1:33:36taking your attention off them.
- 1:33:38That's all it is. And when you start
- 1:33:40getting happy with yourself
- 1:33:42and you start feeling those elevated
- 1:33:44emotions cuz you're striving for that
- 1:33:46you wouldn't trade this for the grudge
- 1:33:49you were holding because this feels too
- 1:33:50good. Are you with me still? Now
- 1:33:54once that heart opens up
- 1:33:57and you start having energy in the
- 1:33:58center and it's releasing 1,300 to 1,400
- 1:34:02different chemicals that begin to
- 1:34:04restore and regenerate the body. The
- 1:34:06body start getting a lift of energy.
- 1:34:08Once it makes it's here, now you're
- 1:34:09going to see that track sending it
- 1:34:11energy to the brain. The heart acts as
- 1:34:13an amplifier to boost the brain.
- 1:34:16Are you with me still?
- 1:34:18So then once the energy starts making
- 1:34:20its way into the brain, once the heart
- 1:34:22starts to open, we've measured this with
- 1:34:23our students. They have oxytocin levels
- 1:34:26rise.
- 1:34:27Once you start feeling oxytocin, you
- 1:34:29feel more love than you feel the grudge.
- 1:34:32So then you think
- 1:34:34Why would I want to give this up for
- 1:34:36that person?
- 1:34:37That's called forgiveness. You don't
- 1:34:39have to try to do it.
- 1:34:41It just is a side effect of your
- 1:34:42personal transformation.
- 1:34:44And oxytocin then
- 1:34:46when it's released, rushes right into
- 1:34:48the amygdala.
- 1:34:50The survival center of the brain and the
- 1:34:51research is outstanding.
- 1:34:53And the first thing it does is it fits
- 1:34:55in the same receptor sites as fear and
- 1:34:57it lowers the volume to fear and
- 1:34:59anxiety. It shuts the lights out for
- 1:35:01aggression and anger and hostility and
- 1:35:03it cools the circuits off for suffering
- 1:35:05and pain and the only thing you can feel
- 1:35:08is a love for life and that's when
- 1:35:10you're free. Now, the practice
- 1:35:13of forgiveness
- 1:35:15matter to matter, you can do it but it's
- 1:35:18a it takes a long time and a lot of
- 1:35:20work. And then you forgive and then
- 1:35:22you're like, I don't want to forgive
- 1:35:23him.
- 1:35:25Halfway forgive him.
- 1:35:28And just never really authentic
- 1:35:29forgiveness.
- 1:35:31Do you understand?
- 1:35:32And you know, there was a woman that
- 1:35:34came to our work
- 1:35:36and
- 1:35:38she was raped by four men
- 1:35:40when she was a teenager
- 1:35:43and it was abusive.
- 1:35:44And
- 1:35:46she had severe severe night terrors.
- 1:35:50Severe uh uh
- 1:35:53uh uh
- 1:35:54anxiety and panic attacks. She had
- 1:35:57cyclic mood problems. She had been to
- 1:35:59every single doctor, every single
- 1:36:01healer, every single alternative
- 1:36:03practitioner. Nothing changed it.
- 1:36:06She came to our event in
- 1:36:10in
- 1:36:11Tacoma, Washington.
- 1:36:14And she hit that point where she became
- 1:36:16everybody, everyone, everything,
- 1:36:18everywhere, every time, every place. She
- 1:36:21became the oneness.
- 1:36:23And the
- 1:36:24And that frequency had a message for her
- 1:36:26and it said, and she was in incredible
- 1:36:29bliss when this happened.
- 1:36:32I sent four angels disguised as rapists
- 1:36:36for this moment.
- 1:36:38And that was the end of her terrors.
- 1:36:41That was the end of her night. She
- 1:36:43couldn't have a relationship. She
- 1:36:44couldn't She could not live with
- 1:36:46anybody. She was She was isolated.
- 1:36:49One moment, the divine stepped in
- 1:36:52and gave her the signal. That was
- 1:36:54carrying a very specific message and she
- 1:36:56got the download. Not just that
- 1:37:00not just the thought.
- 1:37:02She got the energy move right through
- 1:37:04her body and she saw the whole thing.
- 1:37:08And that moment
- 1:37:10is what she was waiting for. That's what
- 1:37:12the soul was waiting for. Now she's
- 1:37:14healed, she's healthy, she's happy, and
- 1:37:18she's on with a new life. She's born
- 1:37:20again This is what my mother would love
- 1:37:21this. She's born again in the same life.
- 1:37:24Reborn in the same life. Didn't pass
- 1:37:26through a birth canal for it.
- 1:37:28She just was born again in the same
- 1:37:31life. She got a new lease in one
- 1:37:33instant. That energy was carrying a
- 1:37:36message and it made its way all the way
- 1:37:39into the body and the bliss and the joy
- 1:37:41and the gratitude and the love that she
- 1:37:43felt
- 1:37:45and the message that was carried would
- 1:37:47have made total sense to her.
- 1:37:49She's free. One instant. To me, that's
- 1:37:52true forgiveness.
- 1:37:55That's the divine having its way with
- 1:37:56you. Because most people are waiting for
- 1:38:00their life to change.
- 1:38:02Yes.
- 1:38:02So they can feel gratitude, to feel
- 1:38:04abundance, to feel whole. You know,
- 1:38:06that's the old model of cause and
- 1:38:07effect, you know. So if you're living
- 1:38:09with emptiness, you're living with lack,
- 1:38:11you're living with pain, most people
- 1:38:13have been conditioned that something out
- 1:38:15there has to take away this emptiness or
- 1:38:17feeling inside of them. But if you
- 1:38:20believe that you're creating your life,
- 1:38:22and you're living by lack, well, lack
- 1:38:24isn't going to create abundance, right?
- 1:38:25So
- 1:38:26So then it makes sense then that you
- 1:38:29don't really actually create wealth, you
- 1:38:32generate wealth, you generate abundance.
- 1:38:34So the moment you start teaching your
- 1:38:37body emotionally what that future is
- 1:38:39going to feel like before it's made
- 1:38:41manifest, well, your body is the
- 1:38:42unconscious mind believes it's living in
- 1:38:44that future in the present moment. Now,
- 1:38:47it's a scientific fact that it's the
- 1:38:49environment that signals the gene, okay?
- 1:38:51Mhm.
- 1:38:52The end product from an experience in
- 1:38:54the environment is an emotion. So when
- 1:38:56you begin to embrace an elevated
- 1:38:58emotion, you're beginning to signal the
- 1:39:00gene ahead of the environment. What's
- 1:39:01the importance of that? Well, genes make
- 1:39:03proteins, and proteins are responsible
- 1:39:05for the structure and the function of
- 1:39:07your body. And the expression of
- 1:39:09proteins is the expression of life. So
- 1:39:11by you creating an elevated emotion and
- 1:39:14teaching your body what that future will
- 1:39:15feel like before it's made manifest,
- 1:39:18your body's starting to live in that
- 1:39:19future reality in the present moment.
- 1:39:21Now, here's the key.
- 1:39:22Wow.
- 1:39:23If you were able to become familiar with
- 1:39:26gratitude, become familiar with
- 1:39:28wholeness, become familiar with
- 1:39:30abundance, to become familiar with
- 1:39:32freedom, and you're able to generate
- 1:39:34those chemicals every single day,
- 1:39:36more than likely you would be walking
- 1:39:38around feeling like your future has
- 1:39:40already happened, and you would no
- 1:39:41longer be looking for it to happen. You
- 1:39:43would already feel like it has happened.
- 1:39:44Now, what is the importance of that?
- 1:39:46Well, you're literally becoming somebody
- 1:39:48else. So, you're leaving your lack,
- 1:39:50you're leaving your guilt, you're
- 1:39:51leaving your emptiness behind. Your
- 1:39:53personality literally that is made up of
- 1:39:55how you think, how you act, and how you
- 1:39:57feel.
- 1:39:58And how you think, how you act, and how
- 1:40:00you feel is your personality, and your
- 1:40:02personality is intimately connected to
- 1:40:04your personal reality, your life. So,
- 1:40:06then if you want to change your life,
- 1:40:08your personal reality, you got to change
- 1:40:10your personality. And here we go again,
- 1:40:11you got to start becoming conscious of
- 1:40:13your unconscious thoughts. You got to
- 1:40:15start noticing how you act, how you
- 1:40:17speak. You got to pay attention to how
- 1:40:19you're feeling. Some people would live
- 1:40:21in guilt their whole entire life, and
- 1:40:22they don't even know it's guilt, cuz at
- 1:40:23least it feels like them. So, then when
- 1:40:26you start doing that, you begin to
- 1:40:28objectify your subjective self. So, so
- 1:40:31then
- 1:40:32when you begin to make small changes
- 1:40:35back to thought, a new thought should
- 1:40:37lead to a new choice. A new choice
- 1:40:39should lead to a new behavior. A new
- 1:40:40behavior should create a new experience,
- 1:40:42and a new experience should create a new
- 1:40:43emotion. And that new emotion is
- 1:40:46teaching your body chemically to
- 1:40:48understand what your mind has
- 1:40:49intellectually understood. Now, your
- 1:40:51body is embodying the truth.
- 1:40:53I believe in human possibility, human
- 1:40:55potential, and I think that one of our
- 1:40:57biggest limiting beliefs is the belief
- 1:41:01have how limited we really are.
- 1:41:03And so, my interest is to give people
- 1:41:07the science to begin to understand how
- 1:41:10powerful they really are. And I think
- 1:41:12that science really is the language that
- 1:41:14does that really well. And And the new
- 1:41:16sciences, like quantum physics and
- 1:41:19neuroplasticity, neuroscience,
- 1:41:20neuroendocrinology, you know,
- 1:41:22psychoneuroimmunology, the mind-body
- 1:41:24connection, epigenetics, all of those
- 1:41:26sciences point the finger at
- 1:41:28possibility. So, I want to create a
- 1:41:30language for people
- 1:41:32from a philosophical or theoretical
- 1:41:34standpoint for them to begin to
- 1:41:36understand what's possible. But then I
- 1:41:39want to be able to have those people
- 1:41:41begin to wire that information in their
- 1:41:43brain completely cuz learning is making
- 1:41:45new connections, right, in the brain.
- 1:41:47But remembering is maintaining and
- 1:41:49sustaining those connections and it's so
- 1:41:50much easier
- 1:41:52to lose our vision than to remember it,
- 1:41:54all right? So then we have to begin to
- 1:41:56hardwire the brain or install the
- 1:41:58neurological hardware
- 1:42:00in preparation for an experience. So the
- 1:42:02more people understand what they're
- 1:42:03doing and why,
- 1:42:05then the how gets easier. So I want to
- 1:42:08then set up the conditions in an
- 1:42:09environment in a in a in a workshop
- 1:42:12where people can begin to
- 1:42:15apply or personalize what they learn so
- 1:42:17that they can have an experience. An
- 1:42:18experience then further enriches the
- 1:42:20brain, but the prize of an experience is
- 1:42:22an emotion. And once you start feeling
- 1:42:25unlimited, once you start feeling
- 1:42:26abundant, once you start feeling worthy,
- 1:42:29now you're teaching your body chemically
- 1:42:31to understand what your mind has
- 1:42:32intellectually understood. So knowledge
- 1:42:34is for the mind and experience is for
- 1:42:36the body and people begin to embody the
- 1:42:38truth of that philosophy. Now if they
- 1:42:40can repeat it over and over again,
- 1:42:43it'll become innate in them, it'll
- 1:42:44become natural, second nature, become
- 1:42:46easy. They'll begin to master that
- 1:42:48philosophy. So I want people to begin to
- 1:42:52understand that
- 1:42:53thoughts are very powerful, feelings
- 1:42:56drive our thoughts,
- 1:42:57and that they can begin to create a
- 1:42:59better life for themselves once they
- 1:43:01understand some of these principles.
- 1:43:03We have research to show that 60 days of
- 1:43:06meditation,
- 1:43:07five days a week, will lengthen your
- 1:43:10life. The telomeres, the little
- 1:43:11shoestrings on the end of your DNA, get
- 1:43:13longer. That means your biological age
- 1:43:16is changing.
- 1:43:17So we we have the evidence now
- 1:43:20to show people what's possible. We have
- 1:43:22brain scans that that are so outside of
- 1:43:25normal that when neuroscientists see
- 1:43:27them, they're blown away because the
- 1:43:29amount of energy that's in the brain
- 1:43:31during this transcendental moment is uh
- 1:43:35hundreds of times outside of normal. I
- 1:43:37mean, you can't make your brain do that.
- 1:43:39Something is happening to you. And that
- 1:43:41person's having a transcendental moment.
- 1:43:44And we now know that we can predict it.
- 1:43:46And we now that know that we can induce
- 1:43:48it. So then there's the evidence there.
- 1:43:50In order for you to to really begin to
- 1:43:52explore the unknown aspect of yourself,
- 1:43:55you got to learn how to get beyond the
- 1:43:56known aspect of yourself.
- 1:43:58Yourself.
- 1:43:58And if you keep coming back to the
- 1:43:59known, you're going to miss out on the
- 1:44:00unknown. So you would say, "Well, I
- 1:44:02don't know anything in the unknown." Of
- 1:44:04course, it's the unknown. And if you try
- 1:44:05to control it there, you're back to the
- 1:44:06known. If you try to predict it, you're
- 1:44:08back to the known. So you got to go
- 1:44:09through this trial and error of just
- 1:44:11kind of refining your attention,
- 1:44:13refining your ability. And and it's just
- 1:44:16got to be something like playing tennis
- 1:44:18or playing golf or doing martial arts or
- 1:44:19working out or crocheting or
- 1:44:21Yeah.
- 1:44:21dancing the salsa.
- 1:44:22Yeah.
- 1:44:23You just got to keep going, man. In the
- 1:44:24beginning, it's tedious. And then when
- 1:44:26you start finding your groove, like our
- 1:44:28our community,
- 1:44:30they don't miss their morning
- 1:44:32meditations.
- 1:44:33Yeah.
- 1:44:33You know why? Because
- 1:44:34the magic is happening. And they know if
- 1:44:37they miss it, they're going to they're
- 1:44:38going to cut off from the magic. So they
- 1:44:40whether they're tired, whether they're
- 1:44:42hungover, whether they're what they're
- 1:44:43they're in.
- 1:44:44Right.
- 1:44:45You know, and and if you if you wake up
- 1:44:46in the morning
- 1:44:48and you can't get your butt out of bed,
- 1:44:50Mhm.
- 1:44:50you know what that means? It just means
- 1:44:52you can predict the feeling of
- 1:44:53everything that's going to happen in
- 1:44:54your life. Your body's resigned.
- 1:44:56Your body's resigned.
- 1:44:57so then you know, when you went on a
- 1:44:58school trip when you were a kid, you
- 1:45:00know, you woke up before your parents
- 1:45:02cuz you knew something new was going to
- 1:45:03happen. That's the body going, "Wake up.
- 1:45:05Wake up.
- 1:45:05It's something unexpected's going to
- 1:45:07happen." What happened to us, right?
- 1:45:08day. Everyone's yep.
- 1:45:10It's So why not
- 1:45:11Yeah.
- 1:45:12you know, put in your put in your time
- 1:45:14Mhm.
- 1:45:15and then and then measure the effects of
- 1:45:17you it cause. I mean, become a scientist
- 1:45:19in your life. And really start to
- 1:45:22experiment with it. Okay, let me change
- 1:45:24my energy. Let me just write down four
- 1:45:26thoughts
- 1:45:27that like I can't, it's too hard, I'll
- 1:45:29start tomorrow, this doesn't feel right,
- 1:45:31whatever it is. It's be this person's
- 1:45:33fault. Just write those down and say
- 1:45:35these thoughts like Gandalf on the
- 1:45:37bridge, you may not pass today. This is
- 1:45:40the end.
- 1:45:41Yeah.
- 1:45:41So then if you become conscious of those
- 1:45:42thoughts, now you're the governor of
- 1:45:44your thoughts. What what what actions,
- 1:45:47what behaviors do you want to change? Do
- 1:45:49you complain? Do you blame? Do you
- 1:45:51judge? Do you make excuses? How do you
- 1:45:53talk? Do you speak limited? Just pick
- 1:45:55four things that you're not going to do
- 1:45:57any longer.
- 1:45:58Yeah.
- 1:45:59What emotions get you in trouble? What
- 1:46:01are the emotions
- 1:46:02that you're addicted to, too, right?
- 1:46:03that you're addicted to that keep you
- 1:46:05returning back to your past. If you
- 1:46:07don't know, close your eyes for about 30
- 1:46:10minutes and just watch where your mind
- 1:46:11goes and watch your feelings and just
- 1:46:12say, "Okay, it's frustration, it's
- 1:46:14unworthiness, it's self-doubt, it's
- 1:46:17guilt, it's frustration, it's shame."
- 1:46:19Just become conscious of those and just
- 1:46:23review them in your mind so that you
- 1:46:25don't go unconscious in your waking day.
- 1:46:27We have a thousand reasons. I have more
- 1:46:30than a thousand reasons every day to be
- 1:46:31unhappy with managing companies and
- 1:46:33staff and people, all that, but but then
- 1:46:36when you rise above that
- 1:46:38and you choose just who you want to be,
- 1:46:42uh I think it makes a big impression uh
- 1:46:45on your on your family, first yourself,
- 1:46:49your family and your friends and the
- 1:46:50people you work with and then finally
- 1:46:52our community. So, I think that people
- 1:46:54are starting to figure that out. They're
- 1:46:56the And and when they
- 1:46:58imagine oxytocin levels in our student
- 1:47:00body,
- 1:47:01the love hormone, the love chemical, 200
- 1:47:04times outside of normal. The latest
- 1:47:06research on oxytocin is slight slight
- 1:47:08elevation on oxytocin, it's impossible
- 1:47:10to hold a grudge. Now, so then
- 1:47:13what that means is you feel
- 1:47:15so amazing
- 1:47:17that why would you want to
- 1:47:19hold a grudge against that person? So,
- 1:47:21forgiveness then is not something that
- 1:47:23you have to try to do to be spiritual.
- 1:47:26It's the side effect of saying,
- 1:47:28"I don't want to give up this feeling
- 1:47:30for you or anybody. So, I'm letting it
- 1:47:32go. I'm freeing you. I'm freeing
- 1:47:33myself." And my goodness, there's more
- 1:47:36liberation of energy.
- 1:47:37I call that the natural state of being,
- 1:47:39and we're knocking on that door. Why?
- 1:47:43Because as you begin to open your heart
- 1:47:45to life again,
- 1:47:46and you start trusting in your future
- 1:47:48and trusting in yourself a little bit
- 1:47:49more, and you start self-regulating with
- 1:47:52your heart, you do that properly, and
- 1:47:54you lead from that place, from that
- 1:47:56level of awareness, your life will
- 1:47:58change in dramatic ways. And why is that
- 1:48:01essential? Because when people start
- 1:48:04doing that effectively,
- 1:48:06oxytocin signals nitric oxide. Nitric
- 1:48:09oxide signals a chemical called
- 1:48:11endothelial-derived
- 1:48:13relaxing factor, and that causes the
- 1:48:16arteries in your heart and lungs, J, to
- 1:48:19literally swell, just like when your
- 1:48:22when your sexual organs are aroused and
- 1:48:25blood flow moves into them, male and
- 1:48:27female, that's a different
- 1:48:28consciousness. There's a different
- 1:48:30energy in there. Imagine the same
- 1:48:32intensity moving into your heart. That's
- 1:48:35what people are experiencing. That is a
- 1:48:37level of love.
- 1:48:40It's not like a love for your puppy.
- 1:48:42It's not like the love for your partner.
- 1:48:44This is transcendent of that. This is
- 1:48:46the most familiar unfamiliar feeling you
- 1:48:49will ever have. It'll be distant and at
- 1:48:51the same time very close, and you'll
- 1:48:53start to see the hidden meaning behind
- 1:48:55all things. And now,
- 1:48:57when you walk in the presence of your
- 1:49:00greatest betrayer,
- 1:49:02the person who threw you under the bus,
- 1:49:05whatever it is,
- 1:49:06when you walk in from this place,
- 1:49:09there will be no emotional reaction. You
- 1:49:12will just see that person for who they
- 1:49:14are, who you used to be. Now, compassion
- 1:49:17then is no longer something that you
- 1:49:19have to try to do.
- 1:49:20It's the end product of doing the work.
- 1:49:22And And I think that mystics and saints
- 1:49:25and
- 1:49:26masters of of old understood this.
- 1:49:29So, when they thought of that person,
- 1:49:32they didn't allow that thought to
- 1:49:34produce a feeling or an energy that
- 1:49:36would lower their energy.
- 1:49:38They understood that when they had the
- 1:49:39thought of that person, they saw their
- 1:49:41limitation. It wasn't hurting them. It
- 1:49:43was only hurting themselves. Now,
- 1:49:46I think that if the world was doing
- 1:49:48that, wow.
- 1:49:49Thoughts
- 1:49:51to me produce an electrical charge in
- 1:49:52the quantum field. And feelings produce
- 1:49:55a magnetic charge in the quantum field.
- 1:49:58Thoughts Wait, thoughts produce a what?
- 1:50:00An electrical charge.
- 1:50:01Okay.
- 1:50:01And feelings produce a magnetic charge.
- 1:50:04And how you think and how you feel
- 1:50:06broadcast an electromagnetic signature
- 1:50:09that influences every single atom in
- 1:50:12your life. The thought sends the signal
- 1:50:14out.
- 1:50:15about this.
- 1:50:16And the feeling draws the event back.
- 1:50:18So, you could have the intent that you
- 1:50:20want wealth, you want health, you want
- 1:50:21success. That's your intent. That's your
- 1:50:24thought. But if you're waiting for the
- 1:50:26experience to happen to feel it, then
- 1:50:29you're not drawing the experience to you
- 1:50:31because you're not feeling the emotion,
- 1:50:33right? So then,
- 1:50:36teaching people once again how to
- 1:50:38balance their thoughts and feelings
- 1:50:41because you can you can enter that cycle
- 1:50:43either place. Sometimes we do it in
- 1:50:44meditation.
- 1:50:46We start opening our heart. We start
- 1:50:47elevating the body's energy. And then
- 1:50:49those emotions can drive certain
- 1:50:51thoughts of your future. Other times you
- 1:50:53open your awareness, you create brain
- 1:50:55coherence, you have the vision of your
- 1:50:57future, you begin to emotionally
- 1:50:58experience it. However you want to jump
- 1:51:00on that cycle, uh and then sustain it
- 1:51:03cuz the longer you're conscious of that
- 1:51:06energy, the more you're drawing your
- 1:51:09future to you. So then, most people
- 1:51:11spend their lives, right?
- 1:51:13They We live in this realm called
- 1:51:15space-time three-dimensional reality,
- 1:51:17and you move your body through space in
- 1:51:20three-dimensional reality, it takes
- 1:51:21time. So everything, all your goals, all
- 1:51:24your dreams, all your visions, you're
- 1:51:26going to have to get your body up and
- 1:51:27drag it through space every day to pay
- 1:51:29off that, you know, that home that's in
- 1:51:31your future, right?
- 1:51:32Right.
- 1:51:33When you create from the field instead
- 1:51:34of from matter,
- 1:51:36when there's a vibrational match between
- 1:51:38your energy and some potential, and your
- 1:51:40thoughts and feelings are coherent, now
- 1:51:43you are going to begin to collapse time
- 1:51:47and space, or the experience is going to
- 1:51:48be drawn to you. Now, now you're the
- 1:51:51vortex to your destiny, and now you
- 1:51:53don't have to go anywhere to get it, cuz
- 1:51:55you're not playing by the rules of
- 1:51:57three-dimensional reality, you're
- 1:51:58playing by the rules of energy and the
- 1:52:00quantum.
- 1:52:00Yeah, I think, uh, you know, if we
- 1:52:02Everything starts with a thought. I
- 1:52:04mean, everything that you do in your
- 1:52:06life, you you have to have a thought
- 1:52:07before you initiate an action, right? So
- 1:52:10So, if you believe that your thoughts
- 1:52:12have something to do with your destiny,
- 1:52:14like any great leader in history
- 1:52:16understands that.
- 1:52:18Uh,
- 1:52:18the first thing you have to do is you
- 1:52:20have to decide, are you going to be
- 1:52:21defined by a vision of the future,
- 1:52:24or are you going to live by the memories
- 1:52:26of the past? So, give you an example.
- 1:52:29Most people wake up in the morning,
- 1:52:31and your brain is a record of the past.
- 1:52:33It's an artifact of everything you've
- 1:52:34learned and experienced to this moment,
- 1:52:36right? It's a It's a memory bank. So,
- 1:52:38most people wake up in the morning, and
- 1:52:40they start thinking about their
- 1:52:41problems, and those problems are
- 1:52:42connected to certain people and things
- 1:52:44at certain times and places.
- 1:52:46And the moment they start start turning
- 1:52:48on those circuits, those memories are
- 1:52:51actually causing them to think in the
- 1:52:53past.
- 1:52:54Every single one of those memories has
- 1:52:56an emotion associated with them, and
- 1:52:58emotions are the end product of past
- 1:53:00experiences. So then, the moment they
- 1:53:02recall the event, or they they recall
- 1:53:05some problem in their life, they start
- 1:53:07feeling unhappy, they start feeling
- 1:53:08discouraged, they start feeling anxious.
- 1:53:10Now, thoughts are the
- 1:53:12language of the brain and feelings are
- 1:53:13the language of the body and how you
- 1:53:15think and how you feel creates your
- 1:53:16state of being. So, we could say then
- 1:53:19Mhm.
- 1:53:19most people's entire state of being when
- 1:53:22they start their day is in the familiar
- 1:53:23past. Well, if you live in the familiar
- 1:53:25past, then it makes sense you're going
- 1:53:27to create the predictable future. So,
- 1:53:29what happens for most people is they get
- 1:53:31stuck in their biology. So, think about
- 1:53:33this.
- 1:53:33Your body is your unconscious mind. It
- 1:53:36doesn't know the difference between an
- 1:53:37experience in your life that creates an
- 1:53:39emotion and an emotion that you can
- 1:53:41create by thought alone. So, if you're
- 1:53:43living by the same emotion every single
- 1:53:45day and those emotions are influencing
- 1:53:46your thoughts and you can't think
- 1:53:48greater than how you feel or feelings
- 1:53:50have become the means of thinking,
- 1:53:52you're thinking in the past. Your lens
- 1:53:54of the future is going to be colored by
- 1:53:56the past. So, you can't see
- 1:53:57possibilities. So, most people like to
- 1:53:59wait for a crisis or disease or
- 1:54:02diagnosis before they wake up enough to
- 1:54:04see. Well, the challenge is is that
- 1:54:06biology tends to be redundant. So,
- 1:54:09if you keep thinking the same thoughts
- 1:54:12and those thoughts begin to fire certain
- 1:54:15circuits in your brain, the nerve cells
- 1:54:17that fire together wire together. So,
- 1:54:19all of a sudden you start getting
- 1:54:20hardwired and those are the thoughts
- 1:54:22that you can think the easiest. At the
- 1:54:24same time, those thoughts produce
- 1:54:26chemicals called emotions and the next
- 1:54:28thing you know, your body gets
- 1:54:29accustomed to living by the same
- 1:54:31emotions and it could be guilt, it could
- 1:54:33be unhappiness, it could be pain, but at
- 1:54:35least it's familiar to you, at least you
- 1:54:37can predict it. So, some people would
- 1:54:39rather cling to the familiar than take a
- 1:54:41chance in possibility. So,
- 1:54:43for most people then, they say, well,
- 1:54:45I I don't really see how my thoughts
- 1:54:46have anything to do with my destiny.
- 1:54:48Well, that's because
- 1:54:4995% of those thoughts are subconscious
- 1:54:52programs, right? So, you're not even
- 1:54:53conscious that you think those thoughts.
- 1:54:55So, the first step to change is starting
- 1:54:58to think about what you've been thinking
- 1:54:59about and change it. And And then when
- 1:55:01you begin to observe those thoughts,
- 1:55:03you're no longer the program, you're the
- 1:55:04consciousness observing the program.
- 1:55:06by being an observer of your thoughts.
- 1:55:07Right. So So the So most people though,
- 1:55:10when they when you do that, when you
- 1:55:12decide to really take a look, it's like
- 1:55:14lighting a match in a dark place. So you
- 1:55:16feel uncomfortable. So it's easier to
- 1:55:18turn on your TV, it's easier to to play
- 1:55:21with your cell phones, to distract
- 1:55:22yourself from those feelings. Well, when
- 1:55:25you understand that change really
- 1:55:26requires becoming uncomfortable to a
- 1:55:28certain degree, and that's normal, that
- 1:55:30you're leaving the known and you're
- 1:55:31stepping into the unknown, then it begs
- 1:55:34the question, what thoughts do you want
- 1:55:35to fire and wire in your brain? Because
- 1:55:38your attention on those thoughts begins
- 1:55:40to re- reorganize circuitry, remold the
- 1:55:42brain.
- 1:55:43When you're feeling gratitude and your
- 1:55:45heart is open, you're broadcasting
- 1:55:47energy into the field.
- 1:55:48A frequency.
- 1:55:50You lay the intent of the thought of
- 1:55:52your health or your wealth, that
- 1:55:54frequency can carry the thought of your
- 1:55:57wealth. It can carry the thought of your
- 1:55:59health. If you're suffering, you can't
- 1:56:02The suffering does not carry That energy
- 1:56:04does not carry the thought of your
- 1:56:05wealth. It carries a different set of
- 1:56:07thoughts. So then So then we're teaching
- 1:56:10people
- 1:56:11how to self-regulate. Because if you're
- 1:56:13going to believe in that future that
- 1:56:15you're imagining with all of your heart,
- 1:56:17it better be open and activated. And you
- 1:56:19better know how to self-regulate. And
- 1:56:21you have to know the moment you
- 1:56:23disconnect from the energy of your
- 1:56:24future because of some circumstance in
- 1:56:26your life, and you lose that feeling, if
- 1:56:28you're practicing it on a daily basis
- 1:56:30with your eyes closed, then the next
- 1:56:33level is to be able to open your eyes
- 1:56:34and do it right in the moment and be
- 1:56:36able to self-regulate and change
- 1:56:39the the frustration from some experience
- 1:56:42in your life back to the energy of your
- 1:56:44future. Now,
- 1:56:46that requires great awareness and great
- 1:56:48effort. But if you have a community of
- 1:56:50people
- 1:56:51that are practicing this on a daily
- 1:56:53basis, and they're connected to their
- 1:56:55future cuz that's where their in their
- 1:56:57mind is.
- 1:56:58Mhm.
- 1:56:58Um they begin to want the future
- 1:57:03more than the emotions of the past. So,
- 1:57:06we've done enough measurements now,
- 1:57:07Louis, to know that we can teach people
- 1:57:09how to do that, and we have evidence
- 1:57:11that people can sustain it for 45
- 1:57:13minutes to an hour. It's a skill now.
- 1:57:15They know that they know how to do it.
- 1:57:16So, now they have brain coherence and
- 1:57:18heart coherence. Well, once the heart
- 1:57:19begins to become orderly and coherent,
- 1:57:22it acts as an amplifier, and it drives
- 1:57:24energy to the brain. So, now the brain
- 1:57:26is getting more energy once the heart is
- 1:57:28open, and then you're thinking different
- 1:57:30set of thoughts, and those thoughts
- 1:57:32produce different chemicals for you to
- 1:57:33feel more of that, and here comes uh
- 1:57:36nitric oxide from oxytocin, and then all
- 1:57:38of a sudden your heart literally starts
- 1:57:40to swell. It literally begins to open
- 1:57:43up, and there's more energy going there,
- 1:57:44and now you're coming from a different
- 1:57:46level of mind.
- 1:57:47You have to really begin to
- 1:57:50mentally rehearse. Like so, you ask
- 1:57:53yourself at the end of your day, I do
- 1:57:55this every day. How did I do? How did I
- 1:57:58do today, bro? How did you do? Did you
- 1:58:00do good? Where did you fall from grace?
- 1:58:02What what what was it
- 1:58:04that caused you to go unconscious
- 1:58:07for the rest of the day? Like what was
- 1:58:10that moment? Now, if you're a student
- 1:58:13of life,
- 1:58:15you'll begin to contemplate, well, it
- 1:58:17was that person that said that thing,
- 1:58:18then I reacted, or this I got this
- 1:58:21email, or things didn't go my way, and I
- 1:58:23started feeling angry or frustrated or
- 1:58:25fearful.
- 1:58:26The next time that happens,
- 1:58:29how could I evolve my experience? Now,
- 1:58:31you may have to search for some answers
- 1:58:34of the best model to build, or you may
- 1:58:37actually have a long contemplation and
- 1:58:39start to go, God, the next time that
- 1:58:41happens, I think I'm going to do this,
- 1:58:43or I'm going to do that, or I'm going to
- 1:58:44plan my behaviors.
- 1:58:46And the act of closing your eyes
- 1:58:49and rehearsing what you're going to do
- 1:58:53begins to install the neurological
- 1:58:55hardware in your brain to looks like you
- 1:58:57already did it. Now the brain is no
- 1:58:59longer a record of the past. Now it's a
- 1:59:01map to the future and if you keep
- 1:59:03installing that hardware, the hardware
- 1:59:06will become a software program which
- 1:59:07means you'll just start acting like a
- 1:59:09happy person. Why? There's no magic
- 1:59:11there. You installed the circuitry. So
- 1:59:15that's more important
- 1:59:17than the news.
- 1:59:18Right.
- 1:59:19It's more important than answering any
- 1:59:21email or any text. It's more important
- 1:59:24than talking about your past or some
- 1:59:27dinner.
- 1:59:28If you can begin to just
- 1:59:31think about how you're going to do it
- 1:59:32differently,
- 1:59:33that's the building process
- 1:59:34neurologically already. So now you have
- 1:59:37to get conscious in order to do that and
- 1:59:38it takes some time. That means you got
- 1:59:40to shut your cell phone off. You got to
- 1:59:41close your door. You got to take a break
- 1:59:43from everything out there and begin to
- 1:59:45practice. And so by experience then,
- 1:59:50you start noticing, oh, here comes. Here
- 1:59:52comes the frustration. Here comes the
- 1:59:54fear.
- 1:59:55And now we've given people the tools to
- 1:59:57be able to self-regulate, to create
- 2:00:00brain and heart coherence. And so you
- 2:00:01see people say, "Excuse me one minute. I
- 2:00:03just going to need a minute."
- 2:00:05They take some breaths. They get back
- 2:00:06in. They connect to the energy of their
- 2:00:08future. This is incidental
- 2:00:11compared to where they're going. So they
- 2:00:12don't fall from grace. They don't allow
- 2:00:16their energy to drop. And so yeah, in
- 2:00:18the beginning, it takes a lot because it
- 2:00:21takes a lot of energy and awareness to
- 2:00:24stay conscious and not go unconscious.
- 2:00:26But if you're persistent and you're
- 2:00:28determined and you're sincere,
- 2:00:31you begin to figure it out. You begin to
- 2:00:33say, "I am not going to give my power
- 2:00:36away to that person or that circumstance
- 2:00:38when I can use it to heal or to create a
- 2:00:40new future."
- 2:00:41And so people then
- 2:00:43won't excuse themselves and say, "I had
- 2:00:44a hard day yesterday. I had a fight with
- 2:00:46my coworker or my ex, or and I don't
- 2:00:49feel like doing the work. Well, that's
- 2:00:51the time to get back on the horse.
- 2:00:53Yeah.
- 2:00:53Cuz because it's the it's all of those
- 2:00:57times that we self-correct.
- 2:00:59Mhm.
- 2:00:59Those are the most valuable moments.
- 2:01:01Thus, people who have had
- 2:01:03profoundly transcendental experiences
- 2:01:05where they
- 2:01:07we say got lit up, they connected, and
- 2:01:10their brain goes into very, very high
- 2:01:12coherent states, and super gamma
- 2:01:14patterns that are way outside of normal,
- 2:01:16and they have a transcendental download,
- 2:01:18or connection that's mystical.
- 2:01:21Then they look back at their entire
- 2:01:23life.
- 2:01:25They don't want to change one thing in
- 2:01:27their past because it got them to that
- 2:01:29moment.
- 2:01:30Mhm.
- 2:01:30That's the moment the past no longer
- 2:01:31exists. Now, by the same means, they
- 2:01:34look back at their past, and they see
- 2:01:37all those tough moments
- 2:01:39where they overcame themselves, and they
- 2:01:41fall in love with that person. They
- 2:01:43don't look at the good meditations or
- 2:01:44the things that went well. They look
- 2:01:46they know that it was those moments that
- 2:01:48got them to this moment. And I I think
- 2:01:51then
- 2:01:52that's when they begin to understand
- 2:01:54that that all of the hard work,
- 2:01:57all the effort,
- 2:01:59and who we become makes No one can take
- 2:02:01that away from us. So then, once we
- 2:02:03arrive at that level, and we experience
- 2:02:06whatever the dream is, or whatever we
- 2:02:08create, the next thing is do it until
- 2:02:10you fully enjoy it, and then when it
- 2:02:12gets boring or predictable, let's go
- 2:02:14again. Let's do something else.
- 2:02:16Yeah.
- 2:02:17And our research shows that when you get
- 2:02:18a community of people together,
- 2:02:20and they begin to open their hearts, and
- 2:02:22they they have the intent for the
- 2:02:24greatest good for people that they know,
- 2:02:26or people that they could focus on,
- 2:02:29that our research shows that you can
- 2:02:31actually affect another person's
- 2:02:33autonomic nervous system when you move
- 2:02:35into heart coherence in a very non-local
- 2:02:37way. Well, what's the significance of
- 2:02:39that? Well, we have an amazing
- 2:02:41community,
- 2:02:42And our community is connected by these
- 2:02:44elevated emotions. Those other emotions
- 2:02:46of survival create separation. But we we
- 2:02:48work to open our hearts and to feel
- 2:02:50connected. We can begin to affect people
- 2:02:53in a very non-local way.
- 2:02:55In other words, everybody else's hearts
- 2:02:57go into coherence at the exact same
- 2:02:59time. You, by opening your heart,
- 2:03:01strengthen your connection to this
- 2:03:03community. You strengthen the connection
- 2:03:06to the people that you relate with in
- 2:03:08your lives. When you move into that
- 2:03:10state, you you begin to affect everybody
- 2:03:13else.
- 2:03:13Every time we have a thought, we make a
- 2:03:14chemical. And And if you have uh uh an
- 2:03:18unlimited thought, you will feel
- 2:03:20unlimited. And if you have a a
- 2:03:22self-deprecating thought, you'll feel
- 2:03:24unworthy. And your brain instantaneously
- 2:03:27fires circuits that signal another part
- 2:03:30of the brain to release peptides or
- 2:03:33chemical messengers that signal hormonal
- 2:03:34centers.
- 2:03:36And when we get that arousal from the
- 2:03:39thought that we think, uh those thoughts
- 2:03:42sometimes weaken the response, weakens
- 2:03:45the physical body. So,
- 2:03:46turns out that
- 2:03:48the emotions that are created from the
- 2:03:50thoughts are the signaling mechanisms of
- 2:03:53the body. Thoughts are the language of
- 2:03:54the brain, and feelings are the language
- 2:03:56of the body. And how we think and how we
- 2:03:58feel uh creates our state of being. So,
- 2:04:02it's turns out that the thoughts based
- 2:04:05in the stress hormones, based in
- 2:04:07survival, those are the thoughts that
- 2:04:09begin to push the genetic buttons that
- 2:04:11create disease. In other words, uh
- 2:04:13person wakes up in the morning.
- 2:04:16And the brain is a record of the past.
- 2:04:18The first thing they do when they wake
- 2:04:19up in the morning is they start thinking
- 2:04:20about their problems. And those problems
- 2:04:23are memories that are etched in the
- 2:04:24brain that are connected to certain
- 2:04:26people, certain objects, uh certain
- 2:04:28things at certain times and places. So,
- 2:04:31if you believe that your thoughts have
- 2:04:32something to do with your destiny, the
- 2:04:34moment you think about your problems,
- 2:04:36you're thinking in the past, right?
- 2:04:38Mhm.
- 2:04:38Now, every one of those problems has an
- 2:04:40emotion associated with them because
- 2:04:42we've experienced them. So, the moment
- 2:04:44you remember your problems, now you feel
- 2:04:46unhappy. Now, you feel anxious. Now, you
- 2:04:48feel fear. So, the moment we feel those
- 2:04:51emotions, it takes a thought and a
- 2:04:53feeling
- 2:04:55a memory or an image and an emotion, a
- 2:04:57stimulus and a response, and we start
- 2:05:00conditioning the body emotionally into
- 2:05:03the past. Now, the body
- 2:05:05is so objective
- 2:05:07that it doesn't know the difference
- 2:05:09between the real-life experience that's
- 2:05:11creating that emotion
- 2:05:13and the emotion that person's
- 2:05:14fabricating by thought alone. The body's
- 2:05:16believing it's in that environmental
- 2:05:17condition.
- 2:05:19So, if the environment signals the gene,
- 2:05:21and that's the truth,
- 2:05:22and the end product of an experience is
- 2:05:24in the environment is an emotion,
- 2:05:28we're signaling the same genes, and
- 2:05:30genes make proteins, and if you keep
- 2:05:33signaling the same genes, you start
- 2:05:35downregulating the gene and make cheaper
- 2:05:37proteins, and the body begins to break
- 2:05:39down. Now, that's an unconscious
- 2:05:41process.
- 2:05:42So, what goes along with that is the
- 2:05:44moment the person feels that emotion of
- 2:05:46unhappiness or whatever it is,
- 2:05:49uh the brain checks in with the body and
- 2:05:50says, "Yeah, you're feeling pretty
- 2:05:51miserable. You're suffering." And we
- 2:05:53tend to generate more thoughts equal to
- 2:05:57the feeling that we have.
- 2:05:59And so, then we get caught in this loop
- 2:06:01of thinking and feeling. So, if we can't
- 2:06:03think greater than how we feel,
- 2:06:06our feelings have become the means of
- 2:06:08thinking,
- 2:06:09then we're thinking in the past. I'm
- 2:06:11starting to realize how conditioned we
- 2:06:13are into believing how limited we are.
- 2:06:15Mhm.
- 2:06:16And as you start peeling those layers
- 2:06:18away, and you break through those
- 2:06:20beliefs, those self-limiting thoughts
- 2:06:22and emotions, on the other side of that
- 2:06:24is where the miraculous happens. So, you
- 2:06:26got to be willing to be in that place of
- 2:06:29discomfort long enough to reorganize
- 2:06:32order and begin to create more
- 2:06:33coherence. And then all of a sudden, you
- 2:06:35get this recalibration that goes on in
- 2:06:37the brain and body. And then the extent
- 2:06:39of that is that the ultimate thing is
- 2:06:41you start to see feedback in your life.
- 2:06:43Those synchronicities, those
- 2:06:44coincidences, those opportunities.
- 2:06:46You're scratching your head going
- 2:06:47Everything is falling into place.
- 2:06:49Yeah, I'm in the right place at the
- 2:06:50right time.
- 2:06:51about just comes to me.
- 2:06:52Because your energy is synchronized.
- 2:06:55It's you Look, I mean,
- 2:06:57when you have coherence in the brain and
- 2:06:58heart, you have a laser of energy and it
- 2:07:01could read information much better.
- 2:07:04You're living in stress and your brain
- 2:07:06is shifting its attention from one
- 2:07:07person to another problem to another
- 2:07:09thing to another
- 2:07:10place to go.
- 2:07:12Each one of those things there's an
- 2:07:13assignment of neurological networks in
- 2:07:15the brain. So, the arousal of the stress
- 2:07:17hormones drives the brain into this high
- 2:07:19frequency and you're trying to control
- 2:07:21and predict everything in your life. And
- 2:07:22those your brain circuits are firing
- 2:07:24like a like a lightning storm in the
- 2:07:25clouds. When your brain's incoherent,
- 2:07:27you're incoherent. And and you can't you
- 2:07:29don't have a signal. You're You don't
- 2:07:31have a Wi-Fi signal. You're not
- 2:07:32connected to the field. How could you
- 2:07:34How could you connect to energy and
- 2:07:36information if your signal hasn't become
- 2:07:38orderly? So, then when people
- 2:07:40synchronize their energy into coherence,
- 2:07:43they can synchronize to a possibility in
- 2:07:46the future. And the synchronicities
- 2:07:49that are feedback from the environment
- 2:07:51are just a reflection of your energy.
- 2:07:53And that's the universe saying,
- 2:07:56"Follow the breadcrumbs. Do it again.
- 2:07:58Follow it again. Do it again." And now
- 2:08:01all of a sudden the person's not waking
- 2:08:02up in the morning like, "Ugh,
- 2:08:04got to meditate now to create my
- 2:08:05future." They're They're kind of going
- 2:08:07like, "I'm getting out of bed because I
- 2:08:08don't want the magic to end, right?"
- 2:08:11They want to They want to sustain that
- 2:08:13state so that the old reality that
- 2:08:16they've lived in begins to transform
- 2:08:18into something new and because there's
- 2:08:20no longer a vibrational match
- 2:08:23with everyone and everything in their
- 2:08:24past present reality, there's a
- 2:08:26vibrational match to their future. and
- 2:08:27now their future is starting to give
- 2:08:29them signals. What thoughts do you want
- 2:08:31to fire and wire in your brain? What
- 2:08:33kind of attention and intention
- 2:08:36do you want to place so that that
- 2:08:38becomes the loudest voice in your head?
- 2:08:40And if you keep practicing it, the
- 2:08:41hardware becomes a software program, and
- 2:08:43it'll say, "Jay, you can do anything.
- 2:08:45Jay,
- 2:08:46you live in no time and accomplish
- 2:08:48everything. Jay,
- 2:08:49you're unlimited. You just got to hang
- 2:08:51with it. On the other side of this is
- 2:08:52greatness." Whatever you want to program
- 2:08:54in there, you get to program in there.
- 2:08:56If you sat down and say, "How am I going
- 2:08:58to be with my wife, my husband, my
- 2:09:00partner? How am I going to be with my
- 2:09:01kids? How am I going to be at work with
- 2:09:02my coworkers? How am I going to be in
- 2:09:04traffic?"
- 2:09:05And you close your eyes and you begin to
- 2:09:07rehearse in your mind. If you're truly
- 2:09:09present, the brain does not know the
- 2:09:11difference between a real-life
- 2:09:12experience and what you're imagining.
- 2:09:14So, now the brain goes from a record of
- 2:09:15the past to a map to the future. Now,
- 2:09:18you're installing the hardware. Keep
- 2:09:19practicing it, it becomes automatic,
- 2:09:21comes easier. Now, it's a software
- 2:09:23program, and you may just start be-
- 2:09:25having differently. Now, I've got a
- 2:09:26really special bonus clip that I think
- 2:09:28you're going to enjoy, but before that,
- 2:09:29it's time for the question of the day. I
- 2:09:31want to know what was your single
- 2:09:32biggest takeaway from this video and
- 2:09:34your plan of action for the next week.
- 2:09:36The science says that when you just
- 2:09:37watch a video, you get motivated, you
- 2:09:39get inspired, you have a 35% chance of
- 2:09:42following through on your goals. 35%?
- 2:09:44That's not enough. That's not enough
- 2:09:45just to get motivated. Believe Nation,
- 2:09:47we're here, you're here. Today matters.
- 2:09:49You're an action taker. When you commit
- 2:09:52to a plan of action of when and how
- 2:09:54you're going to follow through. When you
- 2:09:55write it down, you have a 91% chance of
- 2:09:57following through. And when you commit
- 2:09:59publicly to somebody else, it jumps to
- 2:10:0095% chance. From 30-something percent to
- 2:10:0395% chance of you following through.
- 2:10:05Believe Nation, we need to make this
- 2:10:07happen. So, question of the day, your
- 2:10:09single biggest takeaway from this video
- 2:10:10and your plan of action specific for the
- 2:10:13next week. Put it down in the comments
- 2:10:15below, and I'm going to show on screen
- 2:10:17sometime next week to celebrate you.
- 2:10:20I think that
- 2:10:22in order for us to truly change, we have
- 2:10:24to get beyond ourselves. And that is
- 2:10:27one of the arts of transformation.
- 2:10:30And
- 2:10:32when the moment we are completely in the
- 2:10:34present moment, we cannot be running a
- 2:10:36program. It turns out, coincidentally,
- 2:10:40when we're truly in the present moment,
- 2:10:42all possibilities in the quantum field
- 2:10:44exist in the eternal now.
- 2:10:46So, when we're truly present and we take
- 2:10:49our attention off our body, off of
- 2:10:51people in our lives, off of things, off
- 2:10:53of places, and even time, that's the
- 2:10:56moment, as I said today, we become pure
- 2:10:58consciousness. That's the moment now we
- 2:11:00are no longer playing by the laws of
- 2:11:02Newtonian physics. That's the moment we
- 2:11:05no longer have our attention invested in
- 2:11:07this three-dimensional reality. And
- 2:11:09where we place our attention is where we
- 2:11:11place our energy.
- 2:11:13So then, the moment we become nobody, no
- 2:11:15one, no thing, nowhere, and no time,
- 2:11:17that's the moment we get beyond
- 2:11:19ourselves.
- 2:11:21It is that act of being in the present
- 2:11:22moment that allows us to see new
- 2:11:24possibilities that we could never see
- 2:11:27from the place where we are stuck in our
- 2:11:29own programs and personality.
- 2:11:32The act of doing that, as Bruce said, is
- 2:11:35a skill. And it requires feedback. And
- 2:11:38feedback happens in a couple ways. One
- 2:11:40way you get feedback is to begin to
- 2:11:42measure the changes you see in your
- 2:11:44life.
- 2:11:45Another way is that you feel
- 2:11:47differently. Another way is that the
- 2:11:49voice in your head goes away that's
- 2:11:51telling you you can't, it's too hard,
- 2:11:53you'll never change.
- 2:11:56This process, if it was easy,
- 2:11:59everybody would be doing it.
- 2:12:01And yet, we are piercing a veil where
- 2:12:04people are waking up and they're
- 2:12:06beginning to take their power back.
- 2:12:09We already innately know how to do this.
- 2:12:12All we have to do is keep practicing
- 2:12:15until we start seeing those wonderful,
- 2:12:17wonderful feedback mechanisms happening
- 2:12:19in our life. The moment you start seeing
- 2:12:22those changes taking place in your life,
- 2:12:24you are going to pay attention to what
- 2:12:26you did to cause it. And the moment you
- 2:12:29pay attention to the cause of that
- 2:12:31action, you're no longer thinking that
- 2:12:33it's something out there that did it.
- 2:12:35You're beginning to realize it's what
- 2:12:36you did inside of you to produce it.
- 2:12:39That's when we begin to take our power
- 2:12:40back.
- 2:12:41If you want some incredible motivation
- 2:12:43from John Assaraf, check out the video
- 2:12:45right there next to me. I think you'll
- 2:12:47love it. Continue to believe and I'll
- 2:12:49see you there.
- 2:12:50Are they going to move me towards what I
- 2:12:52want or away from what I want?
- 2:12:54Okay, so you you don't you don't try to
- 2:12:56change anything, just ask yourself.
- 2:12:58You recognize, just become more aware.
