- 0:06Hmm
- 0:12Good evening. [I]
- 0:15I want you to turn [to] the person next to you
- 0:17I want you to look them in the eye and introduce yourself as a genius. Let's begin
- 0:32now [geniuses]
- 0:37So happy to be with you this evening. I have [a] few questions for you before we begin
- 0:45How many people in this audience?
- 0:49actually believe in the idea that the way you think
- 0:53Has some effect on your life that your thoughts [forget] your life. You believe that. Yes
- 1:02So how many people here actually woke up this morning and consciously created a future?
- 1:13You know the biggest reason why people don't do it is
- 1:18Because you don't really believe it's true
- 1:22You see if you knew on a gut level that it was absolutely true
- 1:28Would you ever miss a day come on and?
- 1:31Would you ever let any thoughts slip by your awareness that you didn't want to experience?
- 1:37So your brain according to neuroscience is organized to reflect
- 1:43Everything you know in your life
- 1:45Your brain is a record of your environment so record an artifact of your past
- 1:52so if you believe this then then does your environment control your thinking [or]
- 1:59[does] your thinking control your environment?
- 2:04[so] if you wake up in the morning, and you get out of bed [on] the same exact side as you did the day before
- 2:10You shut the alarm clock off with the same finger you slip into your favorite slippers
- 2:17You shuffle into the bathroom and you use the toilet like you always do
- 2:21Then you walk over to the mirror and you look at yourself to remember who you are
- 2:26Then you get into the shower, and you wash yourself in the same Routine way
- 2:31Then you groom yourself to look like everybody expects you to look
- 2:36Then you go downstairs, and you drink coffee out of your favorite mug
- 2:40Then you drive the work the same way as you did the day [before]
- 2:43You see the same people that push the same ammo [gentle] buttons
- 2:47You do the exact thing that you know how to do and you memorize and can do so well that you're an expert at
- 2:53Then you hurry up and rush home so you can hurry up and check your emails
- 2:57So you could hurry up and go to bed so you can hurry up and do it all over again?
- 3:03Now here's my question did your brain change at all that day?
- 3:07We could say that you are thinking the same thoughts
- 3:11Performing the same actions that create the same experiences that produce the same emotions
- 3:16But secretly expecting something to change in your life would you agree?
- 3:21so then as
- 3:23The environment turns on different circuits in your brain you begin to think
- 3:28equal to your environment [as]
- 3:30You see the same people and go to the same places and do the same things at the [same] time. It's the external environment
- 3:37that's turning on different circuits in your brain causing you to think equal to everything that you know and
- 3:44As long as you think equal to everything that's familiar and known to you. What do you keep creating more of?
- 3:50Same life now the quantum. Law is still applying to you
- 3:53You're just thinking equal to everything that you know and you keep creating more of the same
- 3:59to change
- 4:00The truly change is to think greater than your environment in
- 4:04every great person in history knew this whether it was william Wallace or Mahatma Gandhi or Martin Luther King [or]
- 4:11[Queen] Elizabeth the first or Joan of ARc they all had a vision
- 4:15They all had an idea couldn't see it couldn't smell it couldn't taste. It couldn't feel it, but it was alive in their mind
- 4:24it was so alive [in] their mind that they began to live as if that reality was actually happening now, so
- 4:31Can you believe in a future?
- 4:33That you can't see or experience with your senses yet
- 4:38But you've thought about enough times in your mind that your brain is literally changed to look like the event has already happened
- 4:47Neuroscience says it's absolutely possible
- 4:49now your
- 4:51Personality your personality creates your personal reality. That's it. It's that simple [and]
- 4:58Your personality is made up of how you think
- 5:02How you act and [how] you feel?
- 5:05So the present personality who's sitting here today?
- 5:08You has created the present personal reality called your life would you agree?
- 5:14Would you also agree then if you wanted to create a new personal reality?
- 5:19That on a fundamental level you would have to change the thoughts that you are [thinking]
- 5:23the behaviors and habits that you're demonstrating and the emotions that you've memorized that's become part of your identity and
- 5:31Most people try to create a new personal reality as the same personality and it never works
- 5:38We have to become somebody else
- 5:42So then as you keep thinking the same thoughts
- 5:46Performing the same actions and living by the same experiences that produce the same emotions
- 5:51There's a principle in neuroscience that says nerve cells that fire together wire together
- 5:55and if you keep repeating the same
- 5:59States of mind and body over and over again your brain begins to fight fire in the same sequences in the same patterns and same
- 6:07Combinations, and whenever you make your brain work in a certain way that's called mind
- 6:12Mind is the brain in action so as you remind yourself
- 6:17Everyday who you think you are?
- 6:19you're causing your brain to fire in the exact same ways and
- 6:23As they fire and wire in the same patterns over time the brain moves into a very finite
- 6:30Signature that's called your personality
- 6:34Now that box in your brain isn't literally a box but it's the most commonly wired neurologically fired
- 6:41Programs that run redundantly because we keep doing the same things over and over again
- 6:48To change your mind
- 6:49then is to make the brain work and new sequences and new patterns and new
- 6:54Combinations to begin to make the brain work differently and the one ingredient that allows us to do that is knowledge or information
- 7:02Because every time you learn something new you make a new connection in your brain. That's what learning is learning is forging new Connections
- 7:12remembering is maintaining are sustaining those connections, so
- 7:16[now]
- 7:18Every time you have a thought you make a chemical
- 7:21and if you have a great thought or an unlimited thought or a joyful thought
- 7:27you turn on a set of circuits in your brain that fires in a very specific sequence pattern
- 7:33Combination that produces a level of mind that turns on another part of the brain that [makes] a chemical
- 7:39For you to begin to feel exactly the way you were just thinking
- 7:43Great or unlimited or Joyful
- 7:45Now if you have a negative thought or an unhappy thought or a self-depreciating thought
- 7:50You turn on a different set of circuits and a different combination a different sequence in a different pattern
- 7:55That produces a different level of mind and the brain then begins to make a different batch of chemicals that signals the body for you
- 8:02To begin to feel exactly the way you were just thinking
- 8:05negative or Unhappy or Unworthy
- 8:08So the moment you begin to feel [the] way you think because the brain is in constant communication with your body
- 8:15you begin to [think] the way you feel which makes more chemicals for you to feel the way you think and
- 8:21Then you think the way you feel and then you feel the way you think and then you think the way you feel and some
- 8:26People do this for 20 or 30 [or] 40 [years]?
- 8:30Now the redundancy of that cycle over time creates what I call a state of being in
- 8:38a state [of] being is when your mind and body are working together or your thoughts [or] [fan] feelings are aligned to a
- 8:46concept so thoughts are the language of the brain and
- 8:50Feelings are the language of the body and as people get caught in this cycle of thinking and feeling [and] feeling and thinking over time
- 8:57they condition their body to memorize that emotion as well as the conscious mind and
- 9:03Whenever the body knows as well as the mind that's called a habit a habit is when your body is the mind now
- 9:1295% of who you are by the time you're 35 years old is a set of memorized behaviors
- 9:20Set of emotional reactions beliefs perceptions attitudes that run just like a computer program
- 9:28so 5% of your conscious mind begins to work against
- 9:3395% of what you've memorized
- 9:35So the person wants to think positively
- 9:38But they're feeling negatively
- 9:41They want to create your dream board you know and put up their future life, but they feel unworthy
- 9:48That's mind and body in opposition. We have to recondition the body to a new mind
- 9:54So how many people here know someone who's memorized?
- 9:58suffering doesn't have to be you it could be anybody and
- 10:03You say to that person. Hey, did you read the book I [gave] you. What do they say no?
- 10:09Did you see the DVD I gave you oh no?
- 10:13Hey, Listen, we're Gonna. Go out to dinner
- 10:15We're gonna go see some stand-up comedy and go for a walk along the water you want to come
- 10:19No, what are they saying I'm insisting on this neurochemical order that no person no thing no experience
- 10:27can move us from it and we have these three brains to allow us to move into a new state of being and the
- 10:35Quantum field
- 10:37Universal mind, whatever you want to call it
- 10:40Responds to who your being not?
- 10:43[what] you're thinking?
- 10:44Not what you're feeling, but the combination of how you're thinking and how you're feeling [called] a state of being now most people
- 10:52wait for what crisis or trauma or [disease] or loss or
- 11:00Diagnosis to really want to change they wait to the point where the ego is brought to such a low level that they cannot go
- 11:07on
- 11:08Business as usual any longer that's when we begin to look at how we're thinking or what we believe or how we act our attitude
- 11:15or what emotions we're living by and
- 11:18My message is why wait?
- 11:21we can learn and change in a state [of] pain and suffering which tends to be the human model or
- 11:26We can learn and change in a state of joy and inspiration
- 11:31Now you want to learn the hardest part about all of this you ready the hardest part of all of this
- 11:40the hardest part of all [of] this
- 11:43Is making the time to do it? That's it. That's it making time for your precious self
