Full transcript
- 0:00I believe that there are latent systems in the brain and body that have to be activated in order for us to have a lucid or mystical moment.
- 0:08I've been chasing the mystical now for at least 20 years and I think people start out in a spiritual quest for a lot of reasons.
- 0:15Some people want to be abundant, some people want to be healthy, some people want better relationships.
- 0:19And that's kind of the reason why people start.
- 0:21But as they start creating things they want in their life and as they start connecting to this invisible field of information called the quantum field, all of a sudden you have a very transcendental moment and your inner world starts becoming more real than your outer world.
- 0:35And those moments then leave lasting impressions in our brain because you feel the energy of that experience.
- 0:41And when you feel altered in some way because you feel more electric or more alive,
- 0:46you pay more attention to the images in your brain and you're starting to create memories.
- 0:51And now the brain becomes wired differently.
- 0:53And I think that you perceive a broader spectrum of reality.
- 0:56Hey, it's Evan Carmichael and I make these videos because I need them because being around successful entrepreneurs who are pushing who are driving who are doing amazing things gives me that extra little motivational inspirational boost in the morning every day to help me go off and accomplish great things too.
- 1:12And I hope that this video gives you that inspiration as well.
- 1:15So today, let's learn how to create anything that you want.
- 1:19Enjoy.
- 1:22Rule number two is change your beliefs with Bruce Lipton.
- 1:25Reprogramming my subconscious mind to do what?
- 1:28Get rid of or replace the disempowering programs with empowering ones.
- 1:34And I go, here's the benefit.
- 1:36Here's the benefit of it.
- 1:38Once the new program is in, you don't have to even make any effort.
- 1:42Why?
- 1:42You haven't made any effort to get where you are right now as your subconscious has been doing all the time.
- 1:48So I said, well, what if you put only good stuff in your subconscious?
- 1:51I go, well, then without any effort, you will have all the good things that you were looking for, health and happiness and relationships and stuff like that.
- 1:59And that's the destination because you've got to get out of, I'm a victim.
- 2:04Everyone thinks they're a victim.
- 2:06I go, well, what does victim mean?
- 2:07Powerless.
- 2:08And so if I'm telling you I'm powerless, then what do you think is going to happen?
- 2:12And as you went like that before, the answer is this.
- 2:14I'll sell you some power.
- 2:16I'll be the pharmaceutical.
- 2:18You want some power?
- 2:18I'll sell you this drug.
- 2:20Okay, I'm this guy.
- 2:21I'll sell you that.
- 2:22You'll get more power, more power.
- 2:24What did they do?
- 2:24They made us into consumers.
- 2:26Why?
- 2:27Well, I can't do it.
- 2:28I'm the victim, but they can get it for me.
- 2:31How much do I pay them?
- 2:32I say, well,
- 2:33Hey, religion was based on all this stuff.
- 2:36Yeah, how much does it cost me not to go to hell?
- 2:39Well, 10% of your salary was tithing.
- 2:43I go, for what?
- 2:44They're going to protect me from going to hell.
- 2:47You know, the spiritual people, they go, why am I paying them 10%?
- 2:54I can create my own heaven.
- 2:56which I did, and all of a sudden it says, stop disempowering me.
- 3:01That is the message.
- 3:02Who does it go to?
- 3:03It goes to the medical community, that you disempower me by telling me what my future is going to be, and I buy into the belief in that first seven years that you control my health.
- 3:14I don't control my health.
- 3:15I'd go to the doctor, and my program is doctor knows about my health.
- 3:21I don't.
- 3:22The doctor says you're going to die in three months.
- 3:24Then guess what?
- 3:26you just put in your brain a program of in three months I will be dead and you will.
- 3:34I say, will you die of the cancer they said you had?
- 3:36And I go, nope.
- 3:38You die from the belief of the three months because when I started doing autopsies on people that we know they were going to die in three months of this cancer and they started finding, they didn't die from the cancer.
- 3:49Where'd they die from?
- 3:51The belief, belief controls your life.
- 3:54If you believe you're gonna die, you can die just from the belief.
- 3:58Hi, I'm Bruce Lipton, author of the best-selling books, The Biology of Belief, Spontaneous Evolution, and The Honeymoon Effect.
- 4:04I'm here to thank Evan Carmichael for featuring me on his YouTube channel.
- 4:09And I want to let you know that Evan is giving away links where you can watch the first episodes of my special Gaia series entitled Inner Evolution for free.
- 4:19Evan is making this offer to thank you for watching this video.
- 4:23You will find the links in the description section below.
- 4:26Thank you.
- 4:27Rule number three is understand the three ring circus with Michael Singer.
- 4:31Basically, there are three categories or groups of objects of consciousness that your consciousness is aware of.
- 4:39One is the outside world.
- 4:40If you close your eyes, you don't see the outside world.
- 4:44If you open your eyes, ah,
- 4:46There it is, okay?
- 4:47It comes in.
- 4:48I discussed in the book, goes deep, tries to be somewhat scientific so that we fit into an intellectual model because everything is logical and intellectual and reasonable.
- 5:00So the fact of the matter is, most people don't think about this, you don't really see through your eyes.
- 5:06Your eyes are sensors.
- 5:07We call them senses, but they're sensors.
- 5:10They're like computer sensors that are picking up light
- 5:14turning it into signals that are being sent up your nervous system, your optical nerves, and then it is rendering it inside your mind, just like you look at a flat-screen TV, and you look at it in there.
- 5:30That's hard for us to relate to, because our mind is so intelligent,
- 5:34That it creates 3D and depth perception and everything, even though you're actually back in here watching what's coming in.
- 5:41And I like to have fun with people.
- 5:43I say, I'll prove it to you that it's really just light that's bouncing off of objects and coming into your eyes, right?
- 5:49Turn off the lights.
- 5:51and you won't see anything, because then there's no light bouncing off of things.
- 5:54That's not how we think.
- 5:55We think it turns off the lights, therefore I can't see.
- 5:57No, it's because I turned off the light, there's no light bouncing off the objects and coming, reflecting back into your eyes.
- 6:03It's kind of neat, isn't it?
- 6:04All right?
- 6:05So it's fun to talk about this stuff.
- 6:08So one thing,
- 6:09of the three-wing circus is there's an outside world with all of its objects, and there's a lot of objects out there.
- 6:14The second is that's not all you receive inside, not all you're aware of inside.
- 6:19You're also aware of thoughts, which I'm sure we'll be talking about deeper, so I'll just surface level it.
- 6:25You're aware of thoughts that go on in there.
- 6:27Are you not, right?
- 6:28You notice your thoughts are talking to you.
- 6:30You notice you can make your thoughts think different things.
- 6:33So you, the consciousness, the exact same consciousness that is aware of the outside world is aware of your thoughts.
- 6:40They're not separate, not categorizing it.
- 6:42This is the consciousness that hears my thoughts, and that's the consciousness that sees the world.
- 6:46You can do them both at the same time.
- 6:48particularly looking at something and thinking about it.
- 6:50And your same consciousness is seeing both.
- 6:53And then the third is your emotions, which are quite different than thoughts, and I'm sure we'll talk more about that.
- 6:58But basically emotions are feelings, they're vibrations that come up
- 7:03They're not thoughts or thought forms.
- 7:05You can actually see a boat in there.
- 7:06You can see, you know, see words, but you can hear words.
- 7:09They're talking to you, that voice inside your head.
- 7:12Emotions are not like that.
- 7:13They're just basically shifts in energy patterns, vibrations that you pick up, but they're very strong and they catch your consciousness.
- 7:21So those are the three things in the three-thing circus.
- 7:23The outside world that you're aware of, the thoughts that are inside your head, your mind, and the emotions that emanate from your heart.
- 7:31And the consciousness gets distracted by those things.
- 7:34So it's really funny that the word distraction becomes a spiritual word.
- 7:39People don't think of it that way.
- 7:40But deep spirituality deals with distractions.
- 7:43That's what it's all about.
- 7:44If you weren't distracted,
- 7:46by your emotions, distracted by your thoughts, or distracted by the outside world, you'd be sitting in samadhi.
- 7:52The consciousness would be able to come back into its source.
- 7:56Rule number four is live in fullness with Eckhart Tolle.
- 7:59The power to manifest is in experiencing the
- 8:13Fullness of the present moment, the undifferentiated fullness, what Jesus called life in its fullness in one of the translations.
- 8:27I want you to have life in its fullness, he said.
- 8:33And that is not stuff, he's not referring to things.
- 8:38Life in its fullness is an inner state of being.
- 8:42It is to experience, to know, to realize the beingness within you, the I am.
- 8:50which is consciousness itself.
- 8:52That is life, that is the fullness of life in the words of Jesus.
- 8:57The fullness of life is to realize that.
- 9:04So that once you realize that, and it is consciousness, you know yourself as consciousness, once you know that, then
- 9:18No future moment can possibly be better.
- 9:23Anything that can happen in the future isn't adding onto.
- 9:28So if you bring together, if you have a vision in your mind of what it is you want to achieve or create or manifest,
- 9:39And you bring this vision into this sense of still fullness that you sense now.
- 9:51and you bring that together, that is the most powerful creative tool.
- 9:55The way that it's usually expressed, Jesus expressed it too, he said, when you pray for something, believe that you already have it.
- 10:06But I think he probably used actually slightly different words, but that's how it was written down.
- 10:12He probably said, feel that you already have it.
- 10:17Whatever it is that you want to have that you think is going to be, you need to feel already the feeling.
- 10:26Now how do you do that?
- 10:28By feeling that which is beyond.
- 10:31the world of phenomena out of which everything arises, which is consciousness.
- 10:37So when you know yourself as consciousness, that's already the fulfillment.
- 10:42Rule number five is develop an abundance mindset with Deepak Chopra.
- 10:46The happiness equation.
- 10:48And I think that's the perfect way to understand the right mindset for anything, including abundance.
- 10:54So here's the happiness equation.
- 10:56Please.
- 10:57H is equal to S plus C plus V. So H stands for happiness, is equal to S. S is called set point in the brain.
- 11:08So some people are seemingly, seemingly wired for joy and opportunity and abundance, and some people are wired seemingly for what you call scarcity thinking, and also for looking at problems.
- 11:27This thing called the set point in the brain determines 50% of your so-called happiness experience every day.
- 11:36Happy people are always looking for opportunities, no matter what.
- 11:41So whatever the situation is, instead of saying this is a problem or an adversity, they say this is an opportunity.
- 11:49automatically, they don't even see the problem.
- 11:51They see only the opportunity.
- 11:54The unhappy people only see the problem always.
- 11:58Now, how does this happen?
- 12:01And it was very interesting to see the research on this.
- 12:05If your parents and if your social environment in the first
- 12:11five years of your life, if your parents particularly, and your immediate social environment, your brothers and sisters, if all you heard was criticism, condemning, complaining, and playing the victim, then your set point is already always looking for problems.
- 12:29So, you know, your parents were criticizing, condemning, complaining, or playing the victim.
- 12:34You're going to always see problems.
- 12:38On the other hand,
- 12:39If your parents, A, were always joyful, number one, B, they were, I call these the four A's, they were good listeners, attention, appreciation, they noticed everyone's gifts around them, including yours as a child, appreciation, then affection, they showered you with unconditional love, and they accepted you just as you are, not just as they would like you to be.
- 13:09these four A's, attention, affection, appreciation, and acceptance, you will grow up to be a happy person.
- 13:16Now, you say this is bad news because that means that whether I look at the world as opportunity or problem is determined for me already, I'm screwed.
- 13:26The fact is you are because this is your conditioned mind.
- 13:30Rule number six is do morning chants with Jack Kornfield.
- 13:34Every morning after alms round in the monastery,
- 13:38We would do our morning chants, sometimes before we went out, some of them when we came back, and they were chants of gratitude and prayers.
- 13:47May I use the food that's offered, the robes that I've been given, the care that I received from others.
- 13:54May I use this in a way that benefits myself and the community around me and all the beings in this world.
- 14:03May I take these and receive it with deep gratitude.
- 14:09Gratitude, the acknowledgement of the countless blessings, great and small, that we receive every single day with every breath and every meal.
- 14:23Gratitude has a trust, a confidence in life itself.
- 14:27It feels the same force that pushes grass through the cracks in the sidewalk, invigorates and keeps you alive every day.
- 14:37Gratitude gladdens the heart.
- 14:40It's not sentimental, not jealous, not judgmental.
- 14:44It doesn't envy or compare.
- 14:47gratitude receives in wonder the myriad offerings of the rain and the earth and the care that supports every single life.
- 14:58Rule number seven is change your paradigm with Bob Proctor.
- 15:01See, in 1990, Joel Barker wrote a book.
- 15:06It's called Paradigms.
- 15:07He said, to be able to shape your future, you have to be willing and able to change your paradigm.
- 15:13Now, I had no idea what a paradigm was.
- 15:16And you might ask yourself, do you really know what a paradigm is?
- 15:20Do you understand how the mind works?
- 15:23Because the paradigm has something to do with the mind.
- 15:25I knew nothing about it.
- 15:27But the man that encouraged me to study this put me on a track.
- 15:36where I just kept going from one great mentor to another.
- 15:39A paradigm is nothing but a multitude of ideas that are fixed in the subconscious mind.
- 15:44And so here we are, as hard as it is to believe, 20, 30, 50, 60 years later, living exactly the same as we were programmed when we were little kids.
- 15:53Do you know that most people in welfare are fourth, fifth generation welfare recipients?
- 15:57It's rather strange.
- 15:58Now, what do we do?
- 15:59Well, we leave this situation and we go to school.
- 16:02What does school do?
- 16:03Well, let's look at it.
- 16:04School gave us valuable knowledge.
- 16:06However, school never taught us anything about paradigms.
- 16:11Therefore, we frequently do not do what we already know how to do.
- 16:17Now, think.
- 16:18Superior knowledge.
- 16:21Think about it.
- 16:23inferior results what does that do that causes confusion and frustration now think about this for a moment we've gathered great knowledge but we know nothing about the paradigm so watch here here's the drawing there's the model there's all the knowledge we got in school we've got it packed in there but you know something it doesn't equate to the results we're getting you're going to find absolutely brilliant people getting very bad results
- 16:50You're going to find people that are brilliant.
- 16:52They know exactly what to do, but they don't do it.
- 16:55Why?
- 16:57It's the paradigm that controls the behavior.
- 17:00And rule number eight, the last one before some very special bonus clips is rewire your brain for wealth with John Assaraf.
- 17:07When we talk about rewiring your brain for wealth, why do we even use the word rewire our brain for wealth?
- 17:18Like it has to assume that our brain is wired for wealth.
- 17:24Right?
- 17:25What does that even mean?
- 17:27So when we talk about rewiring your brain for wealth, it assumes that there is a wiring already there.
- 17:37And the question then becomes, was the wiring there when you and I were born?
- 17:42Were we born with any beliefs?
- 17:45Were we born with an identity?
- 17:47Were we born with a self image or even a self concept?
- 17:51Were we born with any attitudes?
- 17:53Were we born with any habits?
- 17:54Were we born with any expectations?
- 17:57Were we born with any
- 17:59financial set points or limitations, right?
- 18:03Financial glass ceilings.
- 18:05And the answer is no.
- 18:08There were brain cells, 100 billion of them or so, and over the course of our lifetime,
- 18:17Each one of those brain cells created neural connections, about 10,000 neural connections per cell.
- 18:26So if you want to do some math, do 100 billion times 10,000, huge number.
- 18:31And those connections started to formulate our perspective, our beliefs, our paradigm, our attitude, our skills, our expectations, our set points.
- 18:45So let's understand the nature of how our brain became conditioned, what the essence of this wiring is.
- 18:54So what happens is as we are born into this environment with parents with certain skills, certain knowledge, certain awarenesses, et cetera, we also have to assume that we are
- 19:10or we learned the stuff from them about what's real and what isn't, right?
- 19:18We learned everything from our environment, our parents, the meaning we gave things.
- 19:23We learned that if we went to school, it means this.
- 19:26If we didn't, it means that.
- 19:28It means that this job earns that, et cetera.
- 19:31So we were born with a complete open slate, right?
- 19:35And then we created these neural patterns.
- 19:37And then those neural patterns
- 19:40went from creation initially to being what we call as softwired.
- 19:47Softwired, which means the neurons that formulated these connections through effort and awareness and the meanings we gave things became softwired, not just in the conscious mind so we could declare the things that we may believe, but
- 20:03through our habits and our paradigms and our attitude, and also the beliefs that we have about what's possible, you know, for us, right?
- 20:15So when we're talking about rewiring your brain for wealth,
- 20:21Is it possible that let's say if you make, whether it's $1,000 a month or $1,000 a day, it doesn't matter, that the more you've been earning that amount of money, that becomes your financial or wealth set point?
- 20:38The more...
- 20:39we reinforce a pattern, does it not mean that the pattern then reinforces itself through automaticity, which is one of the brain's ways to conserve energy?
- 20:53Right, there's neuroplasticity, our brain's ability to make connections.
- 20:58There's neurogenesis, which is our brain's ability to create new neurons, which we once thought wasn't happening, but it does.
- 21:05But then automaticity is once those neuron patterns are formulated, they run automatically.
- 21:13It's part of something called your default mode network.
- 21:20If you think money is scarce, you hoard it because you believe that no more money will come to you.
- 21:27If you know money is abundant, more money will flow to you.
- 21:30This isn't about being wasteful.
- 21:32It doesn't mean you have to go and always empty your pockets and buy a lot of dumb stuff and throw away all your other stuff.
- 21:37It doesn't mean you have to waste your money.
- 21:41But it's switching the mindset of money is not just some scarce thing that you don't know how to make, that you will never have more of, and so you need to hoard every single dollar that you've got.
- 21:51This is honestly something that I am continuing to rewire myself on.
- 21:58I struggled a lot with money, especially in the early days of my business.
- 22:03Even growing up, I...
- 22:06Grew up in a middle-class family.
- 22:07My parents spent, my parents are behind me on the wall.
- 22:10Hold on, there we go.
- 22:11This is me when I'm eight or nine and my parents here.
- 22:14They believed in education a lot and they didn't have a ton of money.
- 22:18We weren't poor, but they spent all of their money basically on putting the three of us kids, I have two sisters, through private school.
- 22:26So any money that they made basically poured into our education.
- 22:30And as a result, we didn't have, you know, money for other things.
- 22:34And where my friends at these fancy schools were getting, you know, BMWs for their 16th birthday so they can go off and drive.
- 22:42You know, I didn't get any of that.
- 22:45And it's not woe is me, but it's more I just had a scarce mentality around money.
- 22:50In my first business, I was making 300 bucks a month.
- 22:53I was eating the same bean salad lunch every day because it would fill me up and wasn't very expensive.
- 23:01when we celebrated a win, we'd go to McDonald's.
- 23:03If we got a new client, like, hey, we sold another piece of our software.
- 23:06We'd go to McDonald's and order a large fries and share that between the three of us because it was cheap and we wanted just some little way to celebrate.
- 23:16And
- 23:18I just remember how painful it was to feel like you have no money and you can't buy stuff.
- 23:23And I couldn't hang out with my friends and I couldn't do what I wanted to do.
- 23:28And I think that has a traumatic effect.
- 23:30You know, I mean, maybe that's you as well.
- 23:33You have a scarcity mindset around money that you don't know how to make it.
- 23:39And so anything you've got, you got to really hold on to it and protect it.
- 23:43And again, I'm not advocating for being reckless or stupid or just throwing money away.
- 23:48Be smart about how you're gonna invest and use your money.
- 23:51The more important thing is developing the mindset that you can create money, that by bringing a lot of value to people, you can make more money, you can turn it into something.
- 24:02So one of the things that I've done recently that has helped both myself and Nina, my wife, is we create what we call a care fund.
- 24:11And every month when we're doing our numbers, uh, Nina will put together how much we've made this month, how much cash flows come in, et cetera.
- 24:18And then we allocate a certain percentage for a care fund that we have to go off and spend, uh, either for ourselves or for other people.
- 24:28And so my default is to invest, invest, invest, invest, invest, right?
- 24:31Like invest back into the business, invest into, into, into markets, invest in the assets, just invest, invest, invest, invest, invest, invest.
- 24:40And that's a good mindset.
- 24:42The downside of that is you don't get to see the impact that it can create.
- 24:48And so I said, you know what?
- 24:50We need to dedicate a percentage every month to go and help somebody else.
- 24:56And maybe it's help ourselves.
- 24:59On the weekend, Nina bought a very expensive purse.
- 25:04We went shopping.
- 25:04She bought a very expensive purse.
- 25:06She bought a Chanel bag.
- 25:08And
- 25:09probably more expensive than she's ever bought a bag and for me it's like oh my gosh you can't be spending this amount of money on a bag but it's worth celebrating yourself so you know what like we earned that we did so much work in our business you can you can go and afford that
- 25:29We've also used the money to donate to charities.
- 25:32We've also used the money to support our family and things that they needed or wanted in their lives.
- 25:39And it's something that we have to spend every month.
- 25:44Nina asked, hey, can we just save it so we can invest more?
- 25:47And then that leads to more in the future.
- 25:48Like, no, we're already saving other money to do that.
- 25:50Like that has to be spent every month.
- 25:53And so where we have to sit, this might sound crazy.
- 25:57We have to sit down every month and figure out how are we going to spend this money?
- 26:01Because my default is not to go and spend.
- 26:04The default is to invest or just to save.
- 26:08And so doing that, it doesn't have to be a big amount of money.
- 26:11It could be 100 bucks a month that you force yourself to spend on making somebody else's life better or even your own.
- 26:18Like that thing that you would never buy for yourself.
- 26:20You know what?
- 26:21I've worked hard.
- 26:22I'm going to buy it.
- 26:23Or you're going to go buy somebody a meal.
- 26:25Or you're going to go and give a homeless person $100.
- 26:28You're going to do something with it.
- 26:32Because what it does is it starts to change your mentality around it.
- 26:35It starts to make you feel like...
- 26:38more will come that I'm creating.
- 26:42And so whether it's 10 bucks, 100 bucks, 1,000 bucks, 10,000 bucks, whatever it is, I'm not advocating you go drain your bank account and just go crazy and buy a Chanel bag.
- 26:54But allocating a certain percentage every month
- 26:59so that you can start to rewire your beliefs around money, that it's not just super scarce.
- 27:05So that would be step number one, right?
- 27:06Allocate some kind of budget to helping, especially others.
- 27:10Because when you help others, it just makes you feel so good.
- 27:14And you can help others in a lot of ways.
- 27:16You can help them with your time.
- 27:17You can help them with your expertise.
- 27:18You can help them not just give a man a fish, but teach him how to fish, right?
- 27:22But there's the immediate gratification of helping somebody
- 27:26Buying the coffee for the person behind you in line or seeing somebody that you know that that 25 bucks 100 bucks will make a big difference and like you were able to afford to do that Gives you the extra oomph to go off and want to do more of it like if you know that that 25 bucks change that person's life imagine if you can give them 2500 bucks
- 27:48to do that you'd have to go off and build a bigger business right so the the core of your business needs to be serving and helping and contributing back and you can't afford yet to give somebody 2500 bucks but you could if you kept building your business and so this gives that little extra bit of motivation and incentive right to get out there and start to do it to allocate a certain percentage second is to be around people who are
- 28:12who are generous.
- 28:13Be around the people who have the mindset that you want to have.
- 28:17If there's a belief that you want to adopt, the fastest way to do it is to be around the people who constantly are screaming that belief, the people who are constantly living that belief.
- 28:26So if you love
- 28:28my view on something.
- 28:29Great.
- 28:30Hang around me more often.
- 28:30There's lots of videos.
- 28:31You love Grant Cardone's view or Gary V's view or Oprah's view on something.
- 28:35The more you hang around them and watch their content and read their books and listen to their speeches, the more you're going to start to adopt that same belief system.
- 28:43So if you want to believe that money is not scarce, then you need to be hanging around people who believe that money is not scarce, because probably the people in your life believe money is really scarce.
- 28:55And the people that I grew up with believe that money is really scarce, the closest people around me.
- 29:00And so it doesn't mean you stop hanging out with them, but you need to inject new people in, even if it's just through YouTube videos.
- 29:08of the people who believe the thing that you want to believe because otherwise you get pulled back down because your environment has been created to keep you where you are.
- 29:15So if you want to change where you are, you have to change the environment.
- 29:19And it used to be that you had to really change it.
- 29:21You had to go somewhere else.
- 29:22You had to move out.
- 29:23You had to find a mentor to hang out with and have coffee with consistently.
- 29:26Now you can do it through YouTube.
- 29:29I've been inspired by tons of mentors who I've never met.
- 29:33because of the content that I've learned from them on YouTube.
- 29:37But it takes the effort and intention to be consistently around it, that this is the belief system that you want to have.
- 29:45You need to create that habit for yourself, from the things that are on the wall, to the clothes that you wear, to the media that you're consuming every day.
- 29:53Being intentional with that to say, this is the belief system that I want to have.
- 29:57I recognize I'm not there yet, but this is this belief system I want to have, and I want to be around the people who believe this to their core.
- 30:03Because their belief in that thing is stronger than your belief against it.
- 30:10And whoever's more confident wins.
- 30:12And so when you're around the people who believe that thing so much, they will pull you towards them to start having that similar belief system.
- 30:20And then everything starts to change.
- 30:22I think having a scarcity mindset is extremely limiting.
- 30:27I've lived through really intense versions of it.
- 30:31I still feel like I'm coming out of it.
- 30:33I've grown a lot compared to where I used to be, but still have a long ways to go.
- 30:38I probably still have things that I'm holding on to that I shouldn't.
- 30:43I probably still should be more generous than I am.
- 30:47And I'm working through it as well.
- 30:49I might just be a little bit further ahead on the curve.
- 30:52Definitely compared to 19-year-old Evan who thought money was the most scarce thing in the world.
- 30:59When you can learn to make that rewiring happen, that's how you start to change your life.
- 31:05So if you look at the people around you, look at their beliefs, especially around money and see what do they think and then see where they're at in their life compared to the people who have different beliefs around money and where they're at.
- 31:17Who would you rather be?
- 31:19And you could be there.
- 31:20You could be that person if you start to change your beliefs, your environment, start to
- 31:27help more people with it, start to allow the money to flow.
- 31:31Because when you start to believe that you can create a lot more money for yourself, a lot of things start to change.
- 31:36I know you all have big goals, big dreams, big aspirations, just like I do.
- 31:40You've got ambitions to become an amazing person, to build your career, to create, to contribute, to give, to be an awesome human being.
- 31:48But all of that is impossible without great habits set up.
- 31:53If you don't have routine and structure set up in a way that will keep you on track, then you'll fall off.
- 31:59And having new goals without new habits is kind of like having a new car without wheels.
- 32:05You know, the habits are the wheels.
- 32:07They're the things that make you able to achieve the goals.
- 32:11So you gotta have good habits.
- 32:12But the challenge for most people isn't that knowledge.
- 32:15I mean, you know you need to have good habits.
- 32:17It's you can't keep the habit going, right?
- 32:20Have you ever started at the new year, you're gonna get healthier, and you start that habit of working out on a more regular basis, and then it goes away?
- 32:27Or you say, you know what, I'm gonna be more kind and more patient and more awesome to my partner, my lover, and you start being nice for two or three days, and then on the fourth day, you're a jerk, you know?
- 32:37And you're like, what happened?
- 32:39I said I was gonna be nicer.
- 32:41It's that you didn't set up the most important thing you needed to maintain a habit.
- 32:46So what's the biggest secret I've learned in almost 20 years in this field?
- 32:51It's so simple, but most people don't have it.
- 32:54It's called trigger moments.
- 32:57You have to set up trigger moments to activate your habits.
- 33:02What do I mean by that?
- 33:03Well, let's say you want to become a better person.
- 33:07You want to become more kind, more patient, more loving with people.
- 33:11Now, you can just set that intention or write that down in your journal or set up on a vision board that you look at once in a while, but in day-to-day life, it's not enough.
- 33:21You need things to trigger you, to remind you to be that particular kind of person.
- 33:27Right?
- 33:27It's almost like if you could have a little angel speaking in your ear all day long to tell you what to do and how to be, you would obviously become better.
- 33:36Well, that makes sense.
- 33:38Well, let's use that idea.
- 33:40Let's use that idea by setting up alarms on our phones that trigger us to do the very things we need to do.
- 33:46This is gonna be so basic, you're gonna laugh, and then I'll also tell you how I've literally taught this to Fortune 50 CEOs, and they said it was the one thing that changed their life the most dramatically.
- 33:56So let's start with this.
- 33:57I have a goal in mind.
- 33:58Let's say you want to become more present and calm throughout the day.
- 34:04Again, you could write that down on a journal.
- 34:06I'm gonna be more present and calm.
- 34:07You could meditate in the morning saying, today I'm gonna be more present and calm.
- 34:11And you could start out with good intentions, but those fall apart without a trigger moment set up throughout the day to remind you that.
- 34:19So what if you did this?
- 34:20What if you just set up on your phone three alarms during the day with a label that said,
- 34:26close your eyes, take 10 deep breaths in, remind yourself to be calm.
- 34:33So let's say you're going through your day, it's crazy, right?
- 34:35It's 10 a.m. and all of a sudden, bing, your phone goes off.
- 34:38You look down and it says, close your eyes, take 10 deep breaths.
- 34:42And then again, it happens at 2 o'clock.
- 34:45And again, it happens at 6 p.m. And again, it happens at 8 p.m.
- 34:49What's gonna happen?
- 34:50You always look at your phone, don't you?
- 34:52It's gonna go throughout the day.
- 34:53You're gonna forget.
- 34:54And the funniest thing is, I've had so many people do this worldwide.
- 34:57We're talking about hundreds of thousands of people I've talked to do this.
- 35:00Hundreds of thousands.
- 35:02And they tell me all the time, that changed everything.
- 35:04And you'll think, once you set it up, that the next day,
- 35:08You'll forget about it.
- 35:09No, that alarm will go off.
- 35:11You forgot you set the dang alarm.
- 35:12There it goes off in your face and you're like, all right, I'm trying to be calmer and more present.
- 35:19Close my eyes, take 10 deep breaths, reground myself, here we go.
- 35:24You can't do it once a day.
- 35:26You have to have moments throughout the day that trigger you to enact the new behavior.
- 35:30I know this makes sense to you, but it's a challenge for a lot of people because they never set those things up.
- 35:35So what if you did it with an alarm?
- 35:37So for example, for me on the opposite spectrum, I don't want to just be calmer and more present.
- 35:41I want more energy throughout the day.
- 35:44So here's what I do.
- 35:45One of my big trigger moments is,
- 35:46Every time my butt hits a chair, I don't care if I'm on a plane, or I was, like where we're shooting here, I wrote a lot of my books here.
- 35:54I wrote the motivation manifesto here, I wrote the charge here, and if I'm going to write, my butt hits the chair, I grab my phone, I open the timer, and I set 50 minutes.
- 36:05Now, at 50 minutes, the timer goes, it starts buzzing, and I look at that and I go, oh, that's my trigger to get energy.
- 36:12So I stand up, I go get some water, I take a glass of water, drink it down, I do some stretches, and I do some exercise, just really briefly, or I'll go for a walk, whatever it is, but I'll do something that usually takes just two to five minutes.
- 36:26Then I'll sit back down, I'll set that 50 minute alarm, and I'll work.
- 36:30And what that does is every 50 minutes, it triggers me to change how I'm physically moving, it changes my attention, so that throughout the day, I'm continually refreshed.
- 36:42So I never have that two, three, four o'clock time where I'm like, ah, you know?
- 36:47Why?
- 36:47Because I've triggered my day so that my energy is maintained throughout the day.
- 36:51Makes sense, right?
- 36:52This could be as simple as, let's say you want to be healthier in your life.
- 36:56Okay, let's set up some trigger moments for you in this way.
- 36:59Let's say every time you drop off the kids, on the way back to the house, you stop at the grocery store and get some fresh produce.
- 37:07That's just a trigger.
- 37:08It's like, okay, did one thing, drop kids off.
- 37:12Now, tied to that, triggered from that action, drop kids off is go to health food store.
- 37:18Or let's say you wanna get healthier in the morning.
- 37:20One of the easiest ways to help people maintain a better exercise program is this.
- 37:26Set a trigger, you wake up in the morning, your first action is to drink water, put your exercise shoes on, might get dressed if you were naked, just saying.
- 37:35So you get dressed, put your shoes on, you go downstairs or you go to the gym, and that's the trigger.
- 37:42You woke up, you do these actions.
- 37:44Nothing interrupts those actions, that's the action.
- 37:47And you have to have those set up.
- 37:49One of my other favorite trigger moments to set up is door frame triggers.
- 37:55What do you mean by that?
- 37:56When you walk into a new room to have a psychological trigger go off in your mind that you've associated with that door frame.
- 38:04So let me give you an example.
- 38:06If I walk into my house at night, if I've been working all day and I'm gonna walk in, I'm gonna see my lady, so when I ever walk through the doors of my house, three words repeat off immediately in my mind because I've done it so many times consciously.
- 38:20I went to the door, I said the three words, said the three words, said the three words, and I did this so many times that now when I walk through a door, my mind automatically triggers those three words and I remember to be those three words.
- 38:33So what words would you love to have describe you as a person that you would be happy if that was how people described you?
- 38:41What would those words be?
- 38:43Have those and now set them up in your life.
- 38:46I teach executives to do this as well.
- 38:48I have them have a doorframe trigger when they walk into their office in the morning.
- 38:53As soon as they walk through that doorframe, they have, boom, three words go through their mind about how they want to be perceived as a leader.
- 39:00I have them set up another door for me.
- 39:01Every time they walk into a meeting, into the conference room, when they walk through the doors of the conference room, they have another three words that trigger off for them.
- 39:09And it just reminds them how to be.
- 39:12So these aren't big, crazy things.
- 39:14A lot of people think they have to completely change their life.
- 39:17What would change your life completely
- 39:19is setting up more trigger moments and associations that when you see something, you do this.
- 39:26That when this action is taken, then that happens.
- 39:29That when you have the opportunity to set up alarms on your phone, you set them up.
- 39:34So that you're interrupted in your everyday life to remind yourself to stick to the habits, to stick to the intention.
- 39:43You do that enough on a continual basis, you'll find yourself in so many ways
- 39:48completely rejuvenated, and I promise you'll stick to your habits even more.
- 39:54And once you do that, you know that everything changes.
- 39:58I had been raised to believe that if you're going to earn a lot of money, you've got to be really smart.
- 40:02I knew I wasn't that smart, but I was earning a lot of money.
- 40:04So I knew that wasn't right.
- 40:09I was raised to believe if you don't go to school, you'll never get a good job.
- 40:12I didn't have a good job.
- 40:13I owned the whole company.
- 40:17I couldn't figure it out.
- 40:18Do you know it took me nine and a half years?
- 40:21Well, nine and a half years later, I met this man that I showed you.
- 40:26His name, Leland Valvandewall.
- 40:29He changed my life completely.
- 40:32He introduced me to a concept I'm going to introduce you to, and when he did that, it was like everything I'd been studying.
- 40:38I'd been studying a lot of information, but I'd studied this book, I'd give this book to people, and they didn't change.
- 40:45And what he did, he brought everything together for me in a really short period of time.
- 40:50Now here's a couple of things he told me, if you'll go back screen.
- 40:53And he said, Bob, he pointed out, he said, you are a unique individual.
- 40:59And he said, so am I, so is everybody else.
- 41:02And he said, you can literally create your own economy.
- 41:06You can do that.
- 41:07And he said, the only thing standing between you and what you want is yourself.
- 41:12He said, it's all about the mind, Bob.
- 41:14He said, it's about your marvelous mind.
- 41:18Then he started, thanks God, then he started to talk to me about the mind.
- 41:23And he said, you know, it's a strange thing, Bob, when we get talking about the mind, nobody's ever seen the mind.
- 41:28They have never seen the mind.
- 41:30Now, keep in mind that I was a very uneducated person.
- 41:37When you talk about the mind, I mean, I would think of psychiatrists, psychologists, behavioral scientists.
- 41:42Now, he said, you want to get rid of those ideas.
- 41:45He said, the way I'm going to explain it to you is the way it was explained to me.
- 41:49And he said, we can change, we can show children how the mind functions.
- 41:55And he said, I'm going to show you something here that's rather interesting.
- 41:59And he said, Bob, understanding the mind and working in harmony with the laws governing the mind is essential if you really want to win in life.
- 42:09And then he started to tell me,
- 42:11what a paradigm was.
- 42:13And he said a paradigm is a mental program that has almost exclusive control over our habitual behavior.
- 42:20And he started to talk about that.
- 42:22He said it's a program in your subconscious mind that controls your behavior.
- 42:27And the paradigm has almost exclusive control over our habitual behavior and almost all of our behavior is habitual.
- 42:38I said, I want you to think about this, and I want you to think about it.
- 42:41We get out of bed in the morning, and we, bang, away we go.
- 42:45We move into a routine.
- 42:47And if you're living with someone else, you don't mess around with their routine because you just don't do that.
- 42:53We've all got a routine, and we go into a routine.
- 42:56And we do that day after day, and most people do it for their whole life.
- 43:00Earl Langell used to say, most people tiptoe through life hoping they make it safely to death.
- 43:05It's rather an interesting concept.
- 43:07And the paradigm is the program in your subconscious mind.
- 43:11I said, here's the crazy part about it, Bob.
- 43:14The people that write this program, the ones that wrote the code for the program,
- 43:20they really didn't know what they were doing.
- 43:22Think of this for a moment.
- 43:24I've got a computer here, it's in a phone.
- 43:27I've got another computer right in front of me, and then here I've got a pad.
- 43:31And these are computers.
- 43:34Now there's people write programs for these computers.
- 43:38They write code.
- 43:39And they really know what they're doing, and they're very, very good.
- 43:44And the program for me to put the slides up here, that's a program.
- 43:48It's a PowerPoint program.
- 43:49And these things work like a charm.
- 43:54Well the people that are writing the code for them are very well educated and really understand what they're doing.
- 44:00But he said the people that are writing the program for the code that runs your life, they didn't know what they were doing.
- 44:07Now most people don't even know that they have a program.
- 44:10Think of this for a moment.
- 44:12How do you account for a person going to the very best schools in the world, getting prestigious degrees, then spend the rest of their life losing?
- 44:22How do you account for that?
- 44:24How do you account for the fact that a person will come up with degrees that will run right off the end of a business card and maybe not able to get a half-decent job?
- 44:33Very insecure.
- 44:34How do you account for that?
- 44:36Well, I'm going to tell you how.
- 44:37There's a part of your mind that gathers information.
- 44:40There's a part of your mind when you read the book, you store the information in that part of your mind.
- 44:44But that part of your mind is not the part that controls the behavior of this thing you're living in.
- 44:50Your body is an instrument of your mind.
- 44:53It is an instrument of your mind.
- 44:55And it's your body that moves into action and produces the results you're getting.
- 44:59Just give yourself permission.
- 45:03to want the things that you want.
- 45:04And unless you believe that you're worthy, unless that you practice love, you're never gonna think that you deserve the things that you want.
- 45:13Right, so tell the story.
- 45:16Okay, so I'm probably gonna sob hysterically.
- 45:20I'll shorten it, I'll shorten it.
- 45:21So the bottom line is that, so in 1990, I was a senior in college at Dartmouth and my parents came to visit from Western Michigan.
- 45:32And we went to this place called Simon Pierce, which is a famous glass blowing mill.
- 45:37And as we walked into the restaurant, I had an experience.
- 45:41that you may be able to relate to.
- 45:42And that is, I walked in and I immediately saw this painting hanging on the wall.
- 45:47And it was about the size of a door, only horizontal.
- 45:50And it was a Vermont landscape.
- 45:52And I was drawn into it immediately.
- 45:54Like I was no longer in that restaurant.
- 45:57I was standing in that field.
- 45:58I could feel that breeze.
- 45:59I'd never ever had an experience like that with a painting.
- 46:03Have you ever had an experience like that with art?
- 46:05No, I mean,
- 46:06not like that, not like that.
- 46:08I mean, yeah, my sense was that this is very atypical for you.
- 46:11Very.
- 46:12So I kind of lost it.
- 46:17The restaurant was quiet and then I leaned back and suddenly kind of back in the moment, I'm like, I'm going to own this painting someday.
- 46:25It just, that was what was right there.
- 46:27And I looked at the price and it said like $3,000.
- 46:29I'm like, not today.
- 46:31And I went back and I sat down and that was it.
- 46:34but the painting never left my mind.
- 46:35You see, there's something called the Zeiginarch effect.
- 46:38I always say it wrong, but it's like there's a checklist in your brain that when you have a moment where you're like, this is important, your brain puts it on a checklist.
- 46:49Yeah, there's like a notch.
- 46:50Yes, a notch happens.
- 46:52And now your brain as part of the filter in the brain is always going to be kind of scanning the subconscious to let anything into your mind related to that incident.
- 47:02It can be positive, by the way, like with the painting, or this is how trauma happens too.
- 47:06Like you have this high intensity emotional experience that notches something in your brain, and now your brain kicks in to remember.
- 47:14So bottom line is, I always thought about that painting.
- 47:20Years go by.
- 47:22Whenever somebody would say Vermont, I'd think of the painting.
- 47:25I don't know why, I can't explain it.
- 47:27Never wanted a painting before, was not an art student.
- 47:30It's going to law school.
- 47:31It's not like you're out collecting art.
- 47:32No, no, no, no.
- 47:34And so I, you know, fast forward the story 10 years and my, Chris and I are engaged and we're going to go up to Vermont to see the leaves.
- 47:44And immediately I'm like, we got to go to Simon Pierce.
- 47:46I got to show you the painting.
- 47:47So we pull up to the mill and we walk in and right in front, there is boom, a painting by the same artist, Gail Shepard.
- 47:53And I'm like, oh my God, it's here.
- 47:55And we race all around the place and it's gone.
- 47:59And the funny thing was, and this is the way your brain works, Chris was more disappointed than I was.
- 48:05I literally turned to him and said, it's okay, dude.
- 48:07Like, it'd be weird if we're still here after 10 years.
- 48:09I'm going to track this thing down.
- 48:11I actually said to him, you know what's going to happen, Chris?
- 48:14I'm going to be able to buy this like 40 years from now.
- 48:17It's going to be hanging in the corporate lobby of some building.
- 48:20And I'm going to have to track down the owner and pay like quadruple the money they paid.
- 48:23But I'm going to own this damn thing.
- 48:24You have a mission now, though.
- 48:25I have a mission, yes.
- 48:26So a couple of years pass and it's my birthday.
- 48:31I think I was turning 30 and Chris says, Chris gets a couple of people to,
- 48:35Give money.
- 48:37And he said, I could buy anything I wanted with it.
- 48:38So I had, what, 500 bucks.
- 48:40Now I'm pregnant at the time with our first kid.
- 48:43I should have bought a crib or stools, but for whatever reason, the Zygonarch effect takes over.
- 48:47And I'm like, the painting.
- 48:49So I call the mill and I get this guy on the phone.
- 48:53I'm like, you know, I want to buy a Kale Shepard piece.
- 48:56And I said, could you send me Polaroids?
- 48:58And he's like, sure.
- 48:59And I tell him the budget and he goes, I'll send you Polaroids of some of her smaller things.
- 49:03Mm-hmm.
- 49:04Because she's like blowing up in the meantime, right?
- 49:06Yeah, she's a very, very successful Vermont landscape artist.
- 49:11And so I say to him, you know, by the way, there's this one painting.
- 49:18And I describe the painting I'd seen over 10 years ago.
- 49:22And he said, well, that was way before my time, but I bet Gail will know.
- 49:26And I'm like, Gail, you know Gail?
- 49:28He's like, of course I know Gail.
- 49:29She like lives down the road.
- 49:32Here's her number.
- 49:34So for two days, I paced around the apartment with 500 bucks in my pocket, driving Chris crazy, because I felt like, what am I going to say to her?
- 49:40And I must be a weirdo.
- 49:41I've been stalking this lady.
- 49:43I've been thinking about her for 10 years.
- 49:44I can't afford a painting.
- 49:46Who am I to buy a painting?
- 49:48Like, what the hell?
- 49:50So finally, Chris is like, would you call her?
- 49:52I'm gonna call her, you're driving me crazy.
- 49:53So I call her and I start talking a mile a minute and she was amazing.
- 49:59And then I said, by the way, there is this one painting.
- 50:04And I go and I explain this painting.
- 50:05There's a stand of poplar trees down the center and a big mountain scape behind it and this beautiful blue Vermont sky and geese flying in formation overhead.
- 50:15And I could hear her thinking on the other end of the line.
- 50:19And she said, you know, Mel, I've done so many large scale paintings over the years, I'd hate to mistake the one you're talking about.
- 50:29But I'll tell you what, what if my husband and I meet you and Chris at the mill at Simon Pierce?
- 50:35And we'll walk all around and have lunch.
- 50:37And I'll tell you the stories behind every painting.
- 50:39And if you don't see what you like there, I'll take you back to my studio, which is a couple miles down the river.
- 50:44And you can look at everything I'm working on.
- 50:46And if you don't see anything you like there, then you can go through all my slides and see if you can find that painting that you saw 10 years ago.
- 50:52And I said, deal.
- 50:53So a month passes, we go up to the mill, I walk in, we meet each other, she's amazing.
- 50:59She's like twice our age, just an incredibly cool lady.
- 51:02She's walking around, as we're walking around looking at these paintings, Rich, I've got, I'm like eight months pregnant.
- 51:08I'm realizing these are 10 times the amount of money that I have.
- 51:14I can't afford this.
- 51:17Like, I don't have this kind of money.
- 51:20And I'm getting like more and more into that imposter syndrome.
- 51:24What am I doing mode?
- 51:26Oh my God, I'm so embarrassed.
- 51:27I'm meeting somebody I idolize.
- 51:27somebody I idolize I don't deserve to be
- 51:30here right wasting her time cuz she
- 51:32thinks she's going to get a payday out
- 51:33of this correct we sit down
- 51:36and she goes now that you're sitting
- 51:37down I have something to tell you.
- 51:43Um
- 51:47She said there's
- 51:49only been two times in my career as an
- 51:51artist
- 51:52that I've done two studies of the same
- 51:57And your painting is one of them.
- 52:00It's one of a pair.
- 52:03She knew all along.
- 52:04She knew all along.
- 52:05She was playing games with you about not knowing which painting.
- 52:08Yeah, and she said, the sister piece to the one that you saw all those years ago is sitting in my studio right now where it's been for the past 11 years.
- 52:19I start sobbing.
- 52:21Everybody's like totally emotional.
- 52:23Her husband's like, you should have seen her when she was on the phone with you.
- 52:26It was like she saw a ghost.
- 52:28So we get in the car and we drive to the mill.
- 52:32And when we walk in, there in the center of this massive kind of barn studio space is an easel with a painting taped up with painter's tape on it.
- 52:43And it was the sister to my painting.
- 52:45There were slight differences, not as much movement in the grass, but it was...
- 52:51One of the most extraordinary experiences of my life, it was as if time suspended and I was standing before that painting in 1990 saying it would be mine.
- 53:05And there I was 11 years later standing in front of it.
- 53:11And then I realized, oh my God, I can't fucking afford this.
- 53:14And Chris walks over and he's like, what's wrong?
- 53:16And I'm like, just promise me someday, like promise me that I don't need a jewelry.
- 53:21I don't need a car, like just promise me you will buy me this thing.
- 53:24And he kind of leans over and goes, hey, Gail, how much for the big one?
- 53:28And she said, Mel can have it for 500 bucks because clearly when I was making it 11 years ago, I was making it for her.
- 53:41And so it hangs in my kitchen.
- 53:44It's on the back of the book.
- 53:47This is the galley though, right?
- 53:48So wait, is it in the- I think so, yeah.
- 53:50Yeah.
- 53:51And it's a reminder every day that your mind is designed to help you get what you want.
- 53:59I never stopped believing that I could make it happen.
- 54:04And when you tell your mind what's important to you, there is extraordinary science that proves that your mind has a live and ever-changing filter, a live network that changes how it views the world, what it lets in, what it blocks out.
- 54:23And if you program your mind correctly,
- 54:27And if you're clear about what you want to create, your mind will help you get what you want.
- 54:32Are affirmations a total waste of time?
- 54:36What about declarations, you know, declaring that something is real?
- 54:40What about I promise and you don't really believe the promise?
- 54:45So let's understand something first and foremost.
- 54:47And you know who this is.
- 54:48It's John, right?
- 54:50Think about affirmations like my good friend, Dr. John Demartini does.
- 54:55And in my discussions with him, he's got one of the best ideas around that I like.
- 55:01An affirmation is really all about affirming something in one's mind.
- 55:07So an affirmation isn't about stating something that you don't believe as a truth.
- 55:14No, it's taking something that you may not believe and affirming it in your mind so that you start to believe it and you start to behave in ways in alignment with what it is that you believe.
- 55:27So think about this.
- 55:29Were you born with any beliefs?
- 55:33No.
- 55:34So other people's beliefs
- 55:37in most cases, were given to you, right?
- 55:40Me too, through parents, teachers, siblings, TV, things we read, things we watched, et cetera.
- 55:49And so when I started using affirmations back when I was 19, it started off with things like, I'm so happy and grateful for the fact that I am now achieving all my goals and dreams.
- 56:07At the time, I wasn't.
- 56:09When I would say that, I would hear this little voice in my head going, bullshit, that's not true.
- 56:18But I was also taught to understand that that voice was that critical voice that we all have, almost like a little critical person sitting on your shoulder trying to remind you that you're not good enough, not worthy enough, not smart enough, etc.,
- 56:36And I was taught to say, next.
- 56:40Just take that idea and go next.
- 56:42And then go, I'm so happy and grateful for the fact that I am achieving all my goals and dreams.
- 56:48The repetition side of affirmations with emotion activates electrical signals in your brain, right?
- 56:58When the electrical signals in your brains are firing, they call them neurons that fire together
- 57:06the affirmation, wired together.
- 57:09Now, why is that important?
- 57:12Well, if I don't believe something like, I'm so happy and grateful for the fact that I'm achieving every one of my goals and dreams, and yet I repeat it, I emotionalize it, I feel it, and I say, yes, this is what I want to believe, this is what I'm choosing to believe, I'm deliberately and consciously believing
- 57:29creating my belief system.
- 57:32Well, why not do that deliberately instead of believing all the shit that's out there, right?
- 57:36That people believe because of their experiences.
- 57:39So what happens is if we fire these neurons enough in our brain and we wire them enough in our brain, they go from conscious effort, I don't believe it, to, well, maybe I do believe it, to I believe it, to how I behave in ways that I believe.
- 57:55That's how we develop our beliefs.
- 57:57That's how we develop our identity.
- 57:58That's how we develop our character.
- 58:00I think we've all experienced those synchronicities where you're thinking about something or you have an intention and all of a sudden you start to see reality kind of conform itself around you in some way and you're not going anywhere to get it.
- 58:16Somehow it seems to be coming to you.
- 58:20And there's a very direct correlation between energy
- 58:27So when you start to synchronize your energy to a possibility that exists in the quantum field and you have a coherent brain, there's a very, very specific signal that we can send out that's very, very coherent and clear.
- 58:43And when we match that brain coherence with heart coherence, it is the heart that acts as a magnet.
- 58:52and draws the experience back to us.
- 58:55So the thought being electrical charge and the feeling being the magnetic charge and how you think and how you feel broadcasts information into the quantum field.
- 59:05And I think whatever we broadcast into the field is our experiment with destiny.
- 59:11So we either create from the field or we create from matter.
- 59:15And if we create from matter, as bodies local in space and time in three-dimensional reality, we have to move through space to get what we want.
- 59:24We have to move back and forth to work and drive there to manifest our dreams.
- 59:31And creating in three-dimensional reality takes time and it takes energy.
- 59:36Sometimes people get so lost
- 59:39In reality, they forget what their dreams were because there's too much time between cause of thought and effect of the experience.
- 59:47And that's what separation does in three-dimensional reality.
- 59:51Creating from the field and getting beyond yourself, your associations to everything physical and known, and being able to enter through a small door, the eye of the needle, the quantum field, passing through that eye of the needle,
- 1:00:07as pure consciousness and connecting to a field and teaching people how to create from the field instead of from matter, connected to that unified field, to source energy.
- 1:00:19When they create from source and they're connected to source, and source is the cause that creates matter, the effect, if we create from source connected to it from the field instead of from matter, we don't have to go anywhere now.
- 1:00:35To get what we want, we begin to draw the experiences to us.
- 1:00:39So by combining heart coherence with brain coherence, now we have a Wi-Fi signal.
- 1:00:47And all we have to do is synchronize our energy to some intention with some emotion and tune in to the energy of the future.
- 1:00:56And the longer you're conscious of this energy, the more you draw your future to you.
- 1:01:00And if you keep practicing it every day, it's going to become familiar to you.
- 1:01:05And all of a sudden, that will be your natural energy.
- 1:01:08And when you change your energy, you change your life.
- 1:01:11And the more coherent the signatures, electromagnetically, the more refined the experience we have.
- 1:01:19When you think a deliberate thought of what you want, then law of attraction will employ the universe and all people, circumstances, and events to move you to what you've asked for
- 1:01:35to move what you've asked for to you.
- 1:01:38And so if if if you think about that there is just action would be really really hard for you to reach all of the people, circumstances and events manipulate all of them to receive what you want.
- 1:01:55And if you really reflect well on your life and things that have happened in your life you'll kind of see that how
- 1:02:04actually that happened for me.
- 1:02:07All I did was move to here or all I did was move to there and I received what I wanted.
- 1:02:15Thought creates all of the appearances in the world and thought creates everything in your life.
- 1:02:21So it's pretty darn powerful, right?
- 1:02:24And what you think about is what you get, what you focus on is what will manifest in your life and everyone is
- 1:02:33is manifesting their day every single day.
- 1:02:38We're doing it.
- 1:02:40We are not aware of course necessarily of thoughts but thoughts come, we energize them and then they will manifest unless we cancel that thought out with another thought, with a thought that contradicts it.
- 1:02:56But I remember Lester Levinson would say
- 1:02:59Every single thought manifests.
- 1:03:02And I just thought that was incredible.
- 1:03:04I had known the secret for years and years and years.
- 1:03:07And Lester Levinson was a real master.
- 1:03:11And he said every single thought manifests.
- 1:03:14And I was just, wow, that's how powerful they are.
- 1:03:21So thoughts are your superpower.
- 1:03:24To be, do and have...
- 1:03:27what you want to experience and have and do in your life.
- 1:03:32And so if you ask an athlete or if you talk to a coach, a really brilliant coach, right, of a sports team, then you will find that visualization and these principles that I'm talking about are a big part of their training.
- 1:03:48They have to be.
- 1:03:48They have to see themselves winning the game.
- 1:03:51They have to see themselves winning the match.
- 1:03:54There is a really incredible tennis player that's a very big fan, a champion tennis player that's a really big fan of the secret, who uses the secret.
- 1:04:03This is what he does.
- 1:04:04He sees that he has won the match before he walks out onto that court.
- 1:04:09and and it's the same for um for teams it's the same for athletes in the olympic games running a race and seeing that they've won yes they run the race but what has them win the race is that
- 1:04:24They saw themselves winning before they even got on the starting block and they saw it and believed it and felt it.
- 1:04:33And so they just everything lined up for them in the perfect way.
- 1:04:37They drew the perfect lane.
- 1:04:39Everybody else was moved in exactly the right position and they got a really great start and they won the race.
- 1:04:47And so thought is just so, so powerful.
- 1:04:51So athletes, but also, do you know, the astronauts in the Apollo program did visualization before they went to the moon and they visualized.
- 1:05:04landing back on earth safely and so that's how important visualization is just thought in pictures by the way it's it's it's still thought it's just the same thing okay it's just thought in pictures so if you took a person who had zero resistance and you locked them in a room
- 1:05:26You know, if you took a person that had zero resistance, that person thought about what they wanted, zero resistance, locked them in a room, what they wanted will come to them.
- 1:05:38The universe will move people, circumstances and events and bring that right to them.
- 1:05:44It absolutely must.
- 1:05:47Because if you have no resistance, you have unleashed a law that just cannot be stopped.
- 1:05:53And so you will manifest.
- 1:05:55It will come to you.
- 1:06:02Because you made it this far in the video, I want to celebrate you.
- 1:06:06Most people start and don't finish.
- 1:06:08Most people never actually follow through.
- 1:06:11Most people say they want something, but they don't ever do the work to actually get it.
- 1:06:15But you are different.
- 1:06:16You are special.
- 1:06:17Believe Nation, you made it here all the way to the end and I love you.
- 1:06:20So as a special celebration, if you put a hashtag believe down in the comments below on this video, I will showcase you and celebrate you somewhere on the screen in a future video because you are awesome.
- 1:06:36If you want to unlock the law of attraction, check the video right there next to me.
- 1:06:40I think you'll love it.
- 1:06:41Continue to believe and I'll see you there.
- 1:06:4390% of those thoughts are the same thoughts as the day before.
- 1:06:49So what is the likelihood of something happening different in your life if 90% of those thoughts
