  1. 0:00When we enter our 20s, we are asked one
  2. 0:02question: what to do now? Which career
  3. 0:05will you choose? Which college will you
  4. 0:06get admission in? Oh, do this, don't do
  5. 0:08that. There isn't much scope in this.
  6. 0:10All kinds of people come to teach all
  7. 0:12kinds of lessons. But no one teaches us
  8. 0:15how to handle life now. How to manage
  9. 0:18our emotions. No one teaches us to
  10. 0:20question ourselves. So today in this
  11. 0:22video, I will tell you about six skills
  12. 0:24that you must have. Regardless of
  13. 0:26whichever field you are in. So number
  14. 0:28one is communication skill. Whether you
  15. 0:30are studying, working, doing business,
  16. 0:32or following any of your passions. If
  17. 0:34you don't know how to talk or express
  18. 0:37yourself, you will lag behind. And the
  19. 0:40other person who knows how to put their
  20. 0:42point across well. Knows how to express
  21. 0:44their emotions and feelings. They will
  22. 0:47grow. Now, communication skill doesn't
  23. 0:49mean you talk in a fancy language. Or
  24. 0:52show off in a shopping mall or any
  25. 0:54other place. This is not a
  26. 0:56communication skill. This is petty
  27. 0:57behavior. Flaunting useless English in
  28. 1:00front of someone younger, but turning
  29. 1:02into a mouse when you see someone of
  30. 1:04higher status or an educated person. So
  31. 1:06this is not a communication skill.
  32. 1:08Communication skill means setting your
  33. 1:10boundaries. You know how to say no. You
  34. 1:12know how to disagree on something. You
  35. 1:15know how to take a stand. You know how
  36. 1:17to be clear-cut with your message. And
  37. 1:19this doesn't mean you keep going on
  38. 1:20about yourself. And not listening to
  39. 1:22the other person at all. So until you
  40. 1:23listen to someone, how will you reach a
  41. 1:25decision? So it is as important to
  42. 1:27listen as it is to speak. It shouldn't
  43. 1:29be that you poured out your heart but
  44. 1:31didn't hear the other person's side.
  45. 1:32Now the second skill is deep work focus
  46. 1:34. Growing in today's time is the
  47. 1:36easiest. Because half the world is
  48. 1:39distracted. Someone is fighting in the
  49. 1:41name of caste or religion. Someone is
  50. 1:42wasting time scrolling through reels.
  51. 1:44Someone is dying of jealousy. And
  52. 1:47someone is spending their time, money,
  53. 1:48and mind on taking revenge. People
  54. 1:50around are dying of comparison. They
  55. 1:53are physically present but mentally
  56. 1:54disturbed and distracted. And this is
  57. 1:57the biggest opportunity for you. What
  58. 1:59do you need to do? You need to be a
  59. 2:01little disciplined and consistent with
  60. 2:03your focus. Just look at the people
  61. 2:05around you, see how mentally disturbed
  62. 2:07and distracted they are. And if you
  63. 2:09have been given this opportunity to
  64. 2:11work with deep focus, then take
  65. 2:12advantage of it, man. Let people keep
  66. 2:15arguing. Let them interfere in others '
  67. 2:19work, and waste their time, money, and
  68. 2:21energy. You just focus on yourself and
  69. 2:23do your work. Who is stuck on their
  70. 2:25phone and for how long? Who is
  71. 2:27scrolling how many reels, or who is
  72. 2:28interfering in whose life how much. Who
  73. 2:30is dying of jealousy. Let them die. You
  74. 2:33just focus on yourself. Now the third
  75. 2:36skill is critical thinking. Many people
  76. 2:38don't even know that this is a skill.
  77. 2:40One has to live it. It has to be
  78. 2:42learned. Because our society never
  79. 2:44taught us how to question things. Three
  80. 2:46years after being born, you are sent to
  81. 2:48school. You study in school for 12
  82. 2:49years. Then you go to college. Then you
  83. 2:51look for a job. Then you are married
  84. 2:53off. Then you have children. Have you
  85. 2:55ever asked yourself why exactly? This
  86. 2:58has been going on for years, for
  87. 2:59centuries, but why is it going on? And
  88. 3:01why is it necessary to do this? Have
  89. 3:04you ever asked yourself what you want
  90. 3:05to do in life and why you want to do it
  91. 3:07? Did you even want to do the things
  92. 3:09that were imposed on you years ago? Or
  93. 3:11why are you doing what you are about to
  94. 3:13do in life now? That is exactly what
  95. 3:15critical thinking means. Questioning
  96. 3:16yourself, questioning others: if you
  97. 3:18are being sent to school, why are you
  98. 3:19being sent? If you are getting married,
  99. 3:21why are you doing it? Are you doing it
  100. 3:23just for sex, is there a purpose, or is
  101. 3:25it just social conditioning that
  102. 3:26whoever is born must get married and
  103. 3:28have children? Look, a man is not
  104. 3:30afraid of being alone. A man is afraid
  105. 3:33of the fear of being alone. Because our
  106. 3:35society has fed this into our minds:
  107. 3:37that you will be left alone. If you
  108. 3:39don't get married, you won't be able to
  109. 3:40spend your old age well. If you don't
  110. 3:42have children, you will be called
  111. 3:44impotent. Who will set fire to your
  112. 3:45funeral pyre? Brother, what does a dead
  113. 3:47person's body have to do with who is
  114. 3:49burning it? Let the vultures and crows
  115. 3:51eat it. Whose stomach is it going into?
  116. 3:53And even if vultures and crows are
  117. 3:54eating it, they’re just filling their
  118. 3:55bellies. Even after death, a good deed
  119. 3:57is being done. Whoever finds the smell
  120. 3:58offensive will dispose of it. Why are
  121. 3:59you so worried about what happens after
  122. 4:01you die? Life is what gives you pain.
  123. 4:03Think about improving your life. Focus
  124. 4:05your mind on that. Put your effort
  125. 4:07there. Don't worry about the afterlife.
  126. 4:09So, don't believe in anything without
  127. 4:10knowing the truth. Osho also said the
  128. 4:12same: don't believe, know. But what
  129. 4:15about our society? It starts believing
  130. 4:17before it even knows. It's like a herd
  131. 4:19mentality. He is believing it, he is
  132. 4:20believing it. So I should believe it
  133. 4:22too. Brother, this has been going on
  134. 4:23here for centuries. Our ancestors did
  135. 4:25it. Now we have to do it, and the next
  136. 4:27generation will do the same. So just
  137. 4:28accept it because it's happening. This
  138. 4:30is what critical thinking is. Question
  139. 4:32everything. Ask for evidence. If
  140. 4:33something is happening, why is it
  141. 4:34happening? What is the reason behind it
  142. 4:36? If you really want to understand this
  143. 4:38world well. To have worldly wisdom, to
  144. 4:40move forward, and to grow in your life,
  145. 4:42having critical thinking is very
  146. 4:44important. So, ask questions. Don't
  147. 4:46just go and stand where the crowd is
  148. 4:47standing. Don't just look at the
  149. 4:49mountain from the front. Go behind it
  150. 4:50and take a look too. Who knows, the
  151. 4:52view from behind might look much better
  152. 4:54than the one in front. Look at
  153. 4:56everything from different angles and
  154. 4:57different perspectives. It opens your
  155. 4:59mind. It increases your analytical
  156. 5:01capacity. The next skill is AI. This is
  157. 5:04the skill that is the biggest need of
  158. 5:06our time. In the coming time, AI will
  159. 5:07be the boss of everyone. Right now, it
  160. 5:09has already devoured the careers of
  161. 5:10more than half the people in graphic
  162. 5:12design. But it doesn't have an
  163. 5:13emotional touch yet. In five to six
  164. 5:15years, it will have that too. So if you
  165. 5:18don't want to lose your job to AI, you
  166. 5:20must learn AI. Because at the end of
  167. 5:23the day, AI is just a machine that only
  168. 5:25works when you give it input. The kind
  169. 5:27of input you give it, that’s the
  170. 5:28output it will provide. Now it's up to
  171. 5:30you how good an input you provide. Look
  172. 5:33, you can criticize it all you want.
  173. 5:34Look, I got this done by ChatGPT. The
  174. 5:37people who criticize it are the ones
  175. 5:39who don't know how to use it properly.
  176. 5:41It was built exactly for that purpose.
  177. 5:42Will you still waste 16 hours of your
  178. 5:45time when something can be ready for
  179. 5:47you in 2 minutes? You are wasting your
  180. 5:49own time. The world is getting faster.
  181. 5:50You will have to become fast too. You
  182. 5:52have to keep up with the world.
  183. 5:53That’s why when you integrate AI into
  184. 5:55your life, AI won't take your job.
  185. 5:58Because even to run AI, humans are
  186. 6:00needed; I just get an idea and I have
  187. 6:02it enhanced by AI. Earlier, we were
  188. 6:04getting this work done by Google or
  189. 6:06YouTube. Now we are getting this done
  190. 6:08by AI. AI is not dangerous. It is only
  191. 6:10dangerous for those who do not want to
  192. 6:11learn it and still believe in that
  193. 6:13pointless labor. They only believe in
  194. 6:15working 16 hours a day. Now the next
  195. 6:17skill is emotional regulation. Seal
  196. 6:19your emotions. Do not share them. We
  197. 6:21get angry. There’s a problem in a
  198. 6:23relationship, a breakup happens, or a
  199. 6:25job is lost. All these things are
  200. 6:27driven by our emotions, like seeing
  201. 6:29someone cry or someone buying a car.
  202. 6:31The other person is very happy. So an
  203. 6:32emotion awakens within us too, that I
  204. 6:34should also do something like that, I
  205. 6:35should also buy a big car. I will also
  206. 6:37be happy. And these advertisers know
  207. 6:39these things very well, and based on
  208. 6:41this emotion, they sell you things you
  209. 6:43don't even need. So this society of
  210. 6:46ours runs entirely on emotions. Getting
  211. 6:49married is emotion, having a child is
  212. 6:51emotion, not getting along with a life
  213. 6:52partner yet carrying their burden and
  214. 6:54enduring it is emotion; if someone
  215. 6:55abuses or insults you, you get angry
  216. 6:56instantly. Here, do you know? Buddha
  217. 6:59said a very important thing; once
  218. 7:01someone was hurling abuses at him. He
  219. 7:03kept listening calmly. He did not react
  220. 7:05at all. The other person got tired and
  221. 7:07frustrated, thinking, "What is this?" I
  222. 7:09am saying so much to him. But he is
  223. 7:11exactly as he was. He didn't say
  224. 7:13anything. And when he asked Buddha the
  225. 7:16same thing, "Does it not affect you?"
  226. 7:18He said, "For you, they were abuses;
  227. 7:20for me, they were just words. I didn't
  228. 7:22take them." Whatever you said, I never
  229. 7:24accepted it. So it remained with you
  230. 7:26only. Make yourself emotionally strong.
  231. 7:28Just don't react. Whatever someone says
  232. 7:31to you, just don't accept it. That
  233. 7:33person's ego grows when you react to
  234. 7:36them. When you give them your reaction.
  235. 7:40If you let them have their way, then
  236. 7:42don’t let them have it. Just let them
  237. 7:44keep saying whatever they are saying.
  238. 7:46Eventually, they will get tired and
  239. 7:47frustrated too. Silence is a power,
  240. 7:50accept it. It took me ages to accept
  241. 7:53and understand how powerful it is. You
  242. 7:56don't need to open your mouth for every
  243. 7:58little thing. Give your reactions only
  244. 8:00where it is absolutely necessary. Now
  245. 8:02you will say that was a different time.
  246. 8:03Today’s time is something else. We
  247. 8:04won't be able to do it. Believe me, if
  248. 8:07I can do it, then you definitely can.
  249. 8:10Because when I choose to remain silent
  250. 8:13in a situation, no one can make me
  251. 8:16speak. So, do not become a slave to
  252. 8:18your emotions. For example, if you have
  253. 8:20a heartbreak, you will definitely be
  254. 8:22hurt, but keep this pain to yourself,
  255. 8:24don't go around telling the world, man.
  256. 8:26Everyone is going through something,
  257. 8:28just smile and move on. Look, emotions
  258. 8:30are just chemical changes that come and
  259. 8:32go in the body. Before doing anything,
  260. 8:33ask yourself if you even need to do it
  261. 8:35or not? Your mind will answer your
  262. 8:37question itself. The sixth skill is
  263. 8:39financial literacy. Let’s understand
  264. 8:41this with an example: suppose your
  265. 8:42monthly salary is 100,000. The 100,000
  266. 8:44comes in, and half of it goes toward
  267. 8:46your house rent. After that, there are
  268. 8:48your EMIs. You have your own personal
  269. 8:49expenses. On weekends, you have your
  270. 8:51entertainment expenses too. You also
  271. 8:52have to take your girlfriend out. There
  272. 8:54are movies, drinks, and all that
  273. 8:55partying too. At the end, what is left
  274. 8:57with you? I mean, this loop keeps going
  275. 8:59on for years and years. You are earning
  276. 9:01, but what are you saving? Nothing at
  277. 9:03all. It’s not that you aren't earning
  278. 9:04money. You are earning money, but you
  279. 9:06don't know how to manage it. In the
  280. 9:08past, even with less money, the whole
  281. 9:11family was fed and managed well. Today,
  282. 9:13no matter how much you earn, it falls
  283. 9:15short. And I am saying this from my own
  284. 9:17personal experience. Back in the day,
  285. 9:19people only spent on things they
  286. 9:20actually needed. There wasn't so much
  287. 9:22showing off. Today, people are dying
  288. 9:24just to show off. They are spending on
  289. 9:26things that are not even useful to them
  290. 9:28. Just because someone else bought it,
  291. 9:30they have to buy it too. He got trapped
  292. 9:31in EMIs just for the sake of showing
  293. 9:33off. EMIs and credit cards are the
  294. 9:35biggest traps. Keep 30%of your earnings
  295. 9:37for your survival. Invest 20%of your
  296. 9:40money and keep 20%in your emergency
  297. 9:42fund. Spend 10%on entertainment and
  298. 9:45take 10%as a risk. You have to take
  299. 9:48risks. Otherwise, you will never be
  300. 9:49able to grow. A person has money, but
  301. 9:51what is he supposed to do with it? He
  302. 9:53doesn't even know that. He just gets
  303. 9:55sucked into whatever is shown in
  304. 9:57advertisements, whatever celebrities
  305. 9:58are following, or whatever brands are
  306. 10:00trending, and he ends up spending the
  307. 10:02bulk of his money on things that aren't
  308. 10:04even useful to him. He stays trapped—
  309. 10:06sometimes in EMIs, sometimes stuck here
  310. 10:08or there, or by taking out loans. 60
  311. 10:10years of his life pass by just like
  312. 10:11that, and he retires. In the meantime,
  313. 10:14he gets married, has children, and pays
  314. 10:16for their education; and when his child
  315. 10:17grows up and enters their career, they
  316. 10:19have to start from zero. Because his
  317. 10:22father stayed trapped, he could never
  318. 10:23get out of that loop, and he could
  319. 10:25never manage his money properly. So,
  320. 10:27his child had to start from zero. To
  321. 10:29lift themselves up, the child had to
  322. 10:30fight that financial battle all over
  323. 10:32again. They had to work hard from
  324. 10:34scratch to move forward. What did you
  325. 10:36do instead? You brought an unknown life
  326. 10:39—a life that didn't even exist—into
  327. 10:40this world and placed your own burden
  328. 10:42on their shoulders, telling them to
  329. 10:44survive. So if you have brought them
  330. 10:47into this world, leave something behind
  331. 10:48for them so they don't have to start
  332. 10:50from zero like you. They should at
  333. 10:52least be able to start from 40-50%ahead
  334. 10:55. They should have fewer struggles. My
  335. 10:57personal suggestion to you is to never
  336. 10:59get caught up in the EMI trap. It turns
  337. 11:01you into a servant. It never lets you
  338. 11:03get out of this mess, and your ability
  339. 11:06to take risks slowly diminishes. You
  340. 11:08just stay stuck, don't you? If you must
  341. 11:10take an EMI, never take one just to
  342. 11:12show off luxury. If you want to start a
  343. 11:14business and are short by 10-15 lakhs,
  344. 11:16you can take a loan and set up EMIs if
  345. 11:18you feel confident that you can recover
  346. 11:20from it. You are taking a risk. If you
  347. 11:22are taking a risk for your financial
  348. 11:23growth, for your own development, and
  349. 11:25to move forward, then you can take this
  350. 11:27risk. No business is ever run entirely
  351. 11:28on cash anyway. If you need a loan for
  352. 11:30a little extra money, you can set up an
  353. 11:32EMI.
