52. 1:20Uh last time we spoke, it was you, Mike
53. 1:22Perry, me on the show. We were all very
54. 1:24excited, late August.

65. 1:36and I think everyone agreed. We get to
66. 1:38fight week in Orlando and then we find
67. 1:40out on the Thursday before the Saturday
68. 1:42fight, you're not coming, you're out.
69. 1:44You injured yourself. Tell us the whole
70. 1:45story. What happened?
71. 1:46>> So, you can see, obviously, I do have
72. 1:48the scar. This is real. People said it
73. 1:50was AI or whatever, I faked the injury.
74. 1:52It was a real injury. It happened in the
75. 1:54beginning of camp and I literally
76. 1:56couldn't train. I couldn't do sauna. I
77. 1:59couldn't even She told me there's no
78. 2:00sweating, so no treadmill, nothing.
79. 2:02>> When did you injure yourself?
80. 2:03>> So, I think it happened
81. 2:05maybe the day before it got announced.
82. 2:06But, you know, as a fighter
83. 2:08they were like, "This is big
84. 2:09opportunity. You have to take it." And
85. 2:11like as a fighter, I'm like, "You know
86. 2:12what? I can [ __ ] do this." You know,
87. 2:13like you can do this. It's just the
88. 2:15mindset that a fighter has like I can
89. 2:16push through anything. It's like you
90. 2:18know, it's kind of [ __ ] in a way,
91. 2:20but it's just that how you are. You
92. 2:21know, I'm sure you're the same way like
93. 2:22you know, I can do anything. I don't
94. 2:23care what anybody says.
95. 2:25But, then when we went to the doctor and
96. 2:26she's like, "If you sweat, listen, if
97. 2:27this gets infected, it's such a bad cut.
98. 2:29Like you'll go like it could be so
99. 2:31dangerous." And then So, for a couple
100. 2:33weeks I didn't train and then I tried to
101. 2:34just like do it without telling them,
102. 2:36you know? Cuz I was on and I was on
103. 2:38heavy antibiotics. I was taking eight a
104. 2:40day.
105. 2:41>> Wow.
106. 2:41>> So, I don't know if you've ever taken
107. 2:42antibiotics.
108. 2:43>> Yeah, yeah.
109. 2:43>> Eight, you feel like
110. 2:46terrible. And I have a terrible stomach,
111. 2:47so I was just in terrible pain. And then
112. 2:49I tried training
113. 2:50and with the antibiotics and it would
114. 2:52just keep reopening, getting infected,
115. 2:54staff. And people would say in the
116. 2:57interview that it was closed, but it it
117. 2:58like it would kept reopening in the top
118. 3:00like every time I would try to mark
119. 3:01because when they put it together it was
120. 3:03so tight that when you move your arm it
121. 3:05would just like open up even if I
122. 3:06wrapped it. So, it would keep getting
123. 3:08infected.
124. 3:09And um yeah, it just uh I couldn't
125. 3:11train. I couldn't do anything. And then
126. 3:13the deal with Duel was very I don't I
127. 3:16can't go into like certain things with
128. 3:17it.
129. 3:18It was just not the right thing. And
130. 3:20like going into that fight, I tried to
131. 3:21push it all the way till the end. My
132. 3:22whole family was in Orlando. The whole
133. 3:24ref team was in Orlando. That's how much
134. 3:26I pushed it to be in that fight.
135. 3:28And it just didn't happen, you know?
136. 3:29That's the fight game. I know Perry's
137. 3:30really mad at me saying when they drove
138. 3:31me and stuff.

227. 5:30career. They fired him. He wants to go

230. 5:35you I could be sick hungover. I still
