- 0:00making phone calls. Let's talk about it.
- 0:03In this video, we're going to cover how
- 0:05and where to use the Agent CRM native
- 0:08phone dialer. There's a few places that
- 0:10you're going to be using to initiate a
- 0:12call, and we'll also look at some of the
- 0:14actual key features of the dialer. Let's
- 0:17dive in. Inside of Agent CRM, on the top
- 0:22right, you're going to notice a green
- 0:24dialing icon. This button will always be
- 0:27there no matter what page you're on. So,
- 0:30first start off by clicking on the
- 0:32calling icon. You'll notice all of your
- 0:35leads popping up and they can be
- 0:36searched by typing in the name of the
- 0:39contact or by simply clicking on the
- 0:42ones that you see.
- 0:44Notice the call is initiating here. Now,
- 0:47this one we've got a dummy one which is
- 0:50not set up. Let's make sure we can do
- 0:51this properly here. Let's call that
- 0:55again.
- 1:01We're going to make a phone call here.
- 1:02It's going to
- 1:06notice a few options come up right off
- 1:08the bat.
- 1:10Once we're in the call, we can leave a
- 1:13message for
- 1:15the contact if we want to text at the
- 1:18same time.
- 1:19If we want to leave a note, there's all
- 1:21sorts of options. pretty
- 1:23self-explanatory. While I'm typing away,
- 1:26hey, thanks Joe. Thanks, Frank.
- 1:30Type in some information that will save
- 1:32it to the notes section.
- 1:35Some of the other features that are
- 1:37available on the dialer are blind
- 1:39transfer.
- 1:41This feature allows you to send that
- 1:43call to another person, ending the call
- 1:46immediately. So, let's hit blind
- 1:48transfer and let's look at some of our
- 1:50options.
- 1:52other team members or staff that are
- 1:54inside of our account will see their
- 1:57information here. We can click on that
- 2:00contact to transfer and end the call. Or
- 2:04alternatively, you can also send to
- 2:06another number outside of the system. If
- 2:09you use the keypad to dial a number,
- 2:11you'll you'll be able to send it off.
- 2:13Maybe it's some sort of provider or
- 2:15carrier. Maybe it's another person that
- 2:18you're forwarding that call to, but it
- 2:20will end the call right away. Another
- 2:23option is what's called warm transfer.
- 2:26With this, you're going to pause the
- 2:28call.
- 2:30You're going to initiate a connection
- 2:32with the other person and then bring
- 2:34them into a three-way call. Now, this is
- 2:37not a long-term conference calling
- 2:39feature, but it will allow you to make
- 2:42that connection and have a three-way for
- 2:45a brief amount of time. Then, you jump
- 2:47off the call and you've passed them
- 2:50over.
- 2:51That's the blind and warm transfer.
- 2:53Also, notice standard features like warm
- 2:56uh call mute scripts. We'll cover that
- 2:59in another video, how you can add and
- 3:01customize specific calling scripts. And
- 3:04then of course dialing and end call. So
- 3:06let's hang up here and show some of the
- 3:08other options
- 3:10after the view custom dispositions to
- 3:13track what happens on that conversation.
- 3:16But let's look at one of the other ways
- 3:18that we're engaging with our contacts.
- 3:21If we go into some of the contact
- 3:24profiles themselves,
- 3:27let's look at one that's set up
- 3:30a little bit differently. We're going to
- 3:31jump over here. [snorts] And after I
- 3:33have a conversation,
- 3:36I have the ability here to say, "What
- 3:39happens next?" Not just is this answer
- 3:42or no answer, but do I want to trigger a
- 3:45follow-up message? For example, if I
- 3:48just made a phone call to this contact,
- 3:51they were a lead and and maybe I
- 3:53couldn't actually reach them. So, I can
- 3:56toggle no contact and it will send a
- 3:58message. Hey, I tried to reach you. Or
- 4:01maybe we booked over the phone and I can
- 4:03just manually change it to appointment
- 4:05booked or you get the point. This is the
- 4:08main disposition feature that triggers
- 4:11all of the follow-up actions. Add
- 4:13yourself as a contact. Give yourself a
- 4:15call and experiment and experience how
- 4:18the system works. Another place that you
- 4:21can make the call is in the contact
- 4:24profile itself. We already covered how
- 4:26to use the top right calling icon, but
- 4:30inside of a contact profile, you'll also
- 4:32notice if there is a phone number, a
- 4:36dialing icon will appear.
- 4:39Clicking on that dialing icon [music]
- 4:41will initiate the call on the top. You
- 4:43can see that's going through.
- 4:46And we follow the same steps.
- 4:50Let's cover one/3 place. A few extra
- 4:53bonus options. If you're using the
- 4:56opportunities or pipeline feature,
- 5:02when you have contacts present, you're
- 5:05going to also notice the phone icon
- 5:07here. So, clicking on this phone icon
- 5:10will also initiate the same actions.
- 5:13Let's do that together for a quick
- 5:15review
- 5:17call. And notice at the top calling
- 5:20feature initiated.
- 5:23Going to hang up.
- 5:25If you're using the pipeline, follow the
- 5:27pipeline training and it will show you
- 5:29how to do some of the similar post call
- 5:31actions. If you're dragging people along
- 5:34to trigger different follow-ups, you can
- 5:36do that here as well to log and track
- 5:39your progress.
- 5:42One final tip about how to optimize or
- 5:45use this system effectively is that from
- 5:47time to time you may be doing dialing
- 5:49sessions. You've got a segment of your
- 5:53contacts. Maybe you're going to focus on
- 5:55new leads. Maybe you're going to call
- 5:57people who you've already tried to reach
- 5:59out to, people you've designated as no
- 6:02contact. Follow the smart list training
- 6:06to understand how to segment and
- 6:08categorize people. But let's just see
- 6:10here one example. Let's say we're going
- 6:13to call our clients.
- 6:16So, I've created a list of clients and
- 6:19maybe I want to check in as uh just a a
- 6:22general check-in. I have some time and
- 6:24I'm going to see how they're doing just
- 6:26so they don't forget about me. I click
- 6:28on that specific list. There's some
- 6:30filters that make me um confident this
- 6:33this is just a client list. And you can
- 6:36see we've got only the clients in this
- 6:39one. I've got about roughly 10 people on
- 6:43my client list. Now, if I click on any
- 6:46single individual, let's see, there's 1
- 6:482 3 4 5 6 7 8. There's eight contacts
- 6:52here. I'm a new agent in this example.
- 6:55I'm going to click on the first one. And
- 6:58you're going to notice in the contact
- 6:59profile, it says one out of eight. So if
- 7:04I call this person Joe test in this
- 7:08example, we use the contact profile. We
- 7:10hit the call
- 7:12button here. Let's make myself a little
- 7:14smaller. If I hit the call button and I
- 7:16make the call, I can click on the top
- 7:19left
- 7:21next. You see now two out of eight.
- 7:25Next, three out of eight. This allows me
- 7:27to go through lists that are segmented
- 7:30and focused. There's a few other ways
- 7:32you can use the dialing system as well,
- 7:35but this is one of the easiest and most
- 7:37straightforward ways to pick a segment
- 7:39of your audience. Dial away and work
- 7:41through those lists one contact at a
- 7:44time. Whether you're calling leads,
- 7:46whether you're doing cross sales to
- 7:48clients or more, use these features and
- 7:51settings to optimize your use of the
- 7:53system. Reach out if you have any
- 7:55questions or if you want to find other
- 7:56ways to optimize your dialing of the
- 7:59system. If you are looking for extra
- 8:01multi-line dollars or third-party
- 8:04dialers, check out extras account
- 8:06upgrades. But this is where everyone
- 8:08starts and there's a lot of tools to
- 8:10keep you busy. Happy dialing.
