38. 1:57alone it didn't like life like like I

40. 2:05day as you spiral into depression it
41. 2:08really feels like you're in a hole that
42. 2:11is so infinitely deep and the
43. 2:16depression just was really debilitating
44. 2:18in that I didn't really care about
45. 2:22selfworth is not a real thing improving
46. 2:26myself because I already felt like I was
47. 2:28just like I shouldn't been born just
48. 2:30having really like dark thoughts I
49. 2:33always just felt very much like there
50. 2:35was just something wrong with me and I
51. 2:37was trying to figure it out and I used
52. 2:39the internet to help me do that that's
53. 2:44where I felt like I
54. 2:46could diagnose myself my favorite
55. 2:49websites were YouTube and Tumblr I
56. 2:53really love it's such a huge amount of
57. 2:57content that I consumed at that time I
58. 2:59mean I mean I watched a lot of trans
59. 3:01people I watched a lot of you know
60. 3:02gender transformation videos and saw
61. 3:05these people really just like go from
62. 3:08female to male visually like they look
63. 3:12like men and I was like wao I didn't
64. 3:13even know that it was possible for a
65. 3:15woman to pass as a man that well it's
66. 3:18really dark when you think about it cuz
67. 3:20the people who are consuming this are
68. 3:23children like 13 14 15 years old and
69. 3:26it's so easy for them to literally be
70. 3:29room I just started looking into all of
71. 3:32it I was like oh so there's gender queer
72. 3:34gender fluid there's a gender there's
73. 3:36like you can be a demi girl which is
74. 3:37when you're like 90% girl 10% not girl
75. 3:42like there's just an infinite amount of
76. 3:45ways that you can interpret and express
77. 3:48your own gender identity and your gender
78. 3:50identity is who you are and nobody gets
79. 3:53to take that away from you so hearing
80. 3:55that I just became very very interested
81. 3:59in in having a male
82. 4:02Persona the more time I spent online the
83. 4:06more it felt like real
84. 4:08life and the more real it felt
85. 4:12which eventually led to me just fully
86. 4:20transitioning so I came out to my
87. 4:22parents as Oli and you know I went to
88. 4:25this I guess
89. 4:28behavioral mental health clinic for like
90. 4:316 days they had a meeting with my
91. 4:33parents and they basically told my
92. 4:35parents that if you don't validate
93. 4:38Oliver if you don't validate
94. 4:40him then this is just going to get worse
95. 4:43the best thing that you can do to help
96. 4:46him is to accept him as your son but I
97. 4:50already felt like I wasn't what my mom
98. 4:53had
99. 4:54expected
100. 4:55and for me transitioning was the closest
101. 5:00I could come to killing myself without
102. 5:02actually doing it with all of these
103. 5:04mental struggles that I was having not
104. 5:07knowing how to make sense of it on my
105. 5:09own and consuming so much of the trans
106. 5:12narrative and just loving life hearing
107. 5:15people say this made me so much
108. 5:18happier this alleviated my
109. 5:22pain I wanted to alleviate my pain I
110. 5:26also didn't want to be who I was so so
111. 5:30with transitioning I could do both of
112. 5:33those things I could alleviate my pain
113. 5:34and I can become someone else I wanted
114. 5:37to escape my own identity as Daisy my
115. 5:42name is Ali chadra and this is my
116. 5:45voice one day before

119. 6:01that was really the beginning I wasn't
120. 6:05just playing around anymore I wasn't
121. 6:07just playing dress up anymore like I was
122. 6:09actually going to become a trans man and
123. 6:12live my life that

125. 6:20way culturally we are Mexican and men
126. 6:24have to be very masculine in our culture
127. 6:26and I wasn't the most masculine growing
128. 6:29up and I think that had a part on
129. 6:31everything that eventually led me to do
130. 6:33what I did it was around Middle School I
131. 6:36was surfing YouTube one day and A video
132. 6:40popped up male to
133. 6:42female and that eventually planted the
134. 6:44seeds of doubt and allowed me to be
135. 6:49caught by the ideology that eventually
136. 6:51led me
137. 6:53to hurt
138. 6:58myself
139. 7:00eventually I just wanted an answer to be
140. 7:03given to me on who I was and I went to
141. 7:06see a therapist
142. 7:08and I had only asked I think I might be
143. 7:11trans I don't know I want to
144. 7:15know the therapist immediately on my
145. 7:18first appointment with her said yes I am
146. 7:20a transgender woman she had my letter to
147. 7:22transition the same appointment after
148. 7:25that I just took everything
149. 7:28slowly
150. 7:32but eventually my father found out what
151. 7:34I was doing and due to our culture he
152. 7:38was not happy
153. 7:40and he took me to Mexico and had me have
154. 7:44sexual relationship against my will was
155. 7:46a
156. 7:49prostitute I was a 19-year-old kid and
157. 7:53my father's told a
158. 7:55prostitute take good care of him it's
159. 7:57his first time
160. 8:01he was trying to prove that I was a
161. 8:07man that broke me
162. 8:17obviously after that I go back to the
163. 8:20therapist and told her I wanted
164. 8:24transition and she recommended that I
165. 8:27start my social and medical intervention
166. 8:29as soon as I
167. 8:32can 11 months after I had started
168. 8:35hormones I was transferred to another
169. 8:37Medical Professional who after speaking
170. 8:40with him for one time only he will
171. 8:42approve me for
172. 8:44surgery and a few weeks after that
173. 8:47session I got two letters for my
174. 8:48insurance proving me for
175. 8:51surgery but I was a little surprised as
176. 8:53I received
177. 8:55my letter for bottom surgery which was
178. 8:59remove all my genitors without even
179. 9:06asking my name is Ali chadra this is my
180. 9:10voice pret my name is Ali chadra and
181. 9:13this is my voice one month on tea two
182. 9:16days ago was my official 3 months on
183. 9:20testosterone this is my voice 4 months
184. 9:23on tea it's probably not really a good
185. 9:26thing that I was able to get my hormones
186. 9:28so easily I mean anyone can go in there
187. 9:33not only did they send me home with the
188. 9:35hormones but I actually did my very
189. 9:37first shot right there in the doctor's
190. 9:39office and I was just euphoric and it
191. 9:43was real and I was actually going to
192. 9:45start seeing changes and I was going to
193. 9:46start passing which basically meant that
194. 9:49everyone around me was going to see me
195. 9:51as a boy an actual boy this feels good
196. 9:56this makes me happy I'm actually feeling
197. 10:00the feelings that you know all those
198. 10:03like trans people online were saying
199. 10:05that they felt I just want to say that
200. 10:06I'm literally so happy with my chest
201. 10:09it's so much better than I thought it
202. 10:10would be seemingly out of nowhere we've
203. 10:12suddenly seen a huge spike in media
204. 10:16depictions and social media depictions
205. 10:19of transgenderism it's even reached the
206. 10:21mainstream advertising world and I think
207. 10:24this is all coming to a head and what
208. 10:26this really means for our society in
209. 10:27cases like the case of Lila Jane a young
210. 10:31girl whose breasts were removed at age
211. 10:3213 by doctors who fed her a lie take
212. 10:36this next case Leila Jane was born a
213. 10:39girl Lea Jane experienced a host of
214. 10:41medical issues in her youth her mother
215. 10:44who is bipolar expressed to these
216. 10:47Physicians and therapists that her
217. 10:49daughter might be bipolar but she
218. 10:51actually never received any diagnosis or
219. 10:53treatment for that the family went to
220. 10:56one physician who after less than a
221. 10:582-hour appointment greenlighted the
222. 11:01hormone
223. 11:03therapy and in a similarly or even
224. 11:06shorter period of time a plastic surgeon
225. 11:08signed off after one visit on removing
226. 11:10her
227. 11:11breasts like most young women who go
228. 11:14down this path of identifying
229. 11:16transgenderism as the solution to their
230. 11:19problems reinforced by irresponsible
231. 11:21Medical Care Providers it's likely that
232. 11:24if Physicians had properly diagnosed all
233. 11:26of the issues present in Leela J as a
234. 11:29child she would never have gone down
235. 11:32this path when parents of trans
236. 11:34identified kids are referred to
237. 11:37specialized gender clinics they're often
238. 11:39told that they're going to get
239. 11:40Comprehensive multidisciplinary Mental
240. 11:43Health
241. 11:44assessments we know that that's not true
242. 11:47in practice these kids were put on a
243. 11:49FastTrack to Medical transition Lea is
244. 11:51now 18 and is fighting back so this does
245. 11:55not happen to anyone else my name is pra

248. 12:03diagnosed with multiple mental illnesses
249. 12:05including anorexia a body dysmorphic
250. 12:08disorder and borderline personality

252. 12:13manipulate and convince that I had been
253. 12:15born in the wrong body I was told that
254. 12:17this was the reason for all of my mental
255. 12:19and emotional distress the gender
256. 12:21specialist I was taken to taken to se
257. 12:24told my parents that I need to be put on
258. 12:26puberty blocking drugs right away they
259. 12:28asked my parents a simple question would
260. 12:31you rather have a dead daughter or a
261. 12:32living transgender
262. 12:34son this is the moment that we all
263. 12:36became victims of so-called gender
264. 12:38affirming care but is this the document
265. 12:40we're talking about you needed this
266. 12:41letter signed by a therapist to open up
267. 12:45the door for you just to get these
268. 12:46medical treatment is is this the
269. 12:48document they we're talking about

282. 13:19much of a choice in the matter and
283. 13:21doctors are telling parents in front of
284. 13:23their distressed children if you don't
285. 13:26consent to the use of puberty blockers
286. 13:28and crossx hormones your child is going
287. 13:30to die by
288. 13:33Suicide I believe that most doctors who
289. 13:36practice gender affirming medicine
290. 13:38gender dysphoria they genuinely
291. 13:40sincerely believe that they're doing
292. 13:42good but they're not Finland Sweden
293. 13:45France Norway and the UK are reversing
294. 13:47course and asking questions have all not
295. 13:50found enough medical evidence
296. 13:52psychological evidence to support
297. 13:55transgend therapy in the UK their only
298. 13:58National gender Clinic for Children shut
299. 14:00down last year by court order what do
300. 14:02their doctors know that our doctors
301. 14:05don't part of the problem is that the
302. 14:06current cohort of teenagers that are
303. 14:08being transitioned under the affirmative

323. 15:01or 13-year-old girl is ultimately in her
324. 15:03best long-term interests ask her when
325. 15:05she's 30 or 40 and unable to breastfeed

343. 16:24were like 13 14 years old you did this
344. 16:28thing to alleviate this gender dysphoria
345. 16:31you know that wasn't there before but
346. 16:33you made it into a problem and now your
347. 16:36body image issues are worse that's not
348. 16:38supposed to happen what do we do
349. 16:43now I just woke up one day looked at
350. 16:47myself in the mirror and asked myself
351. 16:49what the heck am I doing CU I realized
352. 16:53no matter if I would have gone every
353. 16:54surgery continue with hormones I
354. 16:57realized I would have never been a woman
355. 16:59at best I would have been a carater of
356. 17:01what I believed a woman
357. 17:03was nobody would help me because they
358. 17:08had more concerns of me reversing
359. 17:11everything I just socially
360. 17:13detransitioned got the implants removed
361. 17:16so I had technically developed
362. 17:17gynocomastia
363. 17:18my chest is not like it used to be and
364. 17:22it never will I have
365. 17:25scarring numbness and unfortunately my
366. 17:29nipples are
367. 17:31completely
368. 17:32different to put it lightly it has been
369. 17:35taken a major toll on me since I
370. 17:38realized what I've
371. 17:41done I was almost 5 years on
372. 17:43testosterone so if I had gone further I
373. 17:46I wouldn't have been able to go
374. 17:49back when I found out I was pregnant I
375. 17:51was just over the Moon I mean I I was
376. 17:54scared I was going to have a doctor tell
377. 17:57me that that like sorry you're infertile
378. 18:00and it would have been my fault there
379. 18:03are so many young
380. 18:05people who are going through very
381. 18:08similar things that I did and are still
382. 18:11being told that transition will save
383. 18:13them and it's just not
384. 18:16true my story is tragic in some ways but
385. 18:19it's very Redemptive in many ways that
386. 18:23cannot be said for many D
387. 18:25transitioners
388. 18:27and that's just heartbreaking like I
389. 18:30can't
390. 18:32imagine living with that like I can't
391. 18:36imagine what it would be like to regret
392. 18:38a bottom surgery or you know
393. 18:42to to be in Fertile because when you
394. 18:45were a a little child like 12 your you
395. 18:51know parents were manipulated into
396. 18:53putting you like blocking your
397. 18:57puberty
398. 18:58being so young I was so impressionable I
399. 19:01was told so many times it's possible
400. 19:03that you're trans it's possible that
401. 19:05you're trans that eventually I started
402. 19:07to believe it unfortunately transition
403. 19:09made things worse for me it has just
404. 19:11kind of wrecked my perception of myself
405. 19:14and I feel like I missed out on like 3
406. 19:16years of my life I missed out on 3 years
407. 19:18of living my teenage girlhood I didn't
408. 19:21realize that there were women like me
409. 19:24who were different
410. 19:26so here's the deal I'm be transitioning
411. 19:30it's true it's not a joke I understand
412. 19:33now that I can be a ciswoman again I
413. 19:37haven't gone too far I haven't passed
414. 19:39the point of no return I can live as a
415. 19:42woman again I was something because
416. 19:45people were reacting to me but a it was
417. 19:47a me that wasn't really me so I was
418. 19:50protected I was protecting myself with
419. 19:52the Trans label these pediatric clinics
420. 19:56that perform these surgeries they will
421. 19:58do nothing to help these teams if they
422. 20:00decide to De transition there's nothing
423. 20:02you can do you know once you've taken
424. 20:04all those hormones ability your body is
425. 20:05changed Beyond repair you don't have to
426. 20:08remove your body parts to make you
427. 20:10complete when I transitioned my suicidal
428. 20:13ideation did not go away transition is
429. 20:16not the only answer and there are many D
