- 0:09comes to live with and he's sort of a
- 0:11redneck I guess sort of a rough around
- 0:13the edges type of guy and um yeah he he
- 0:17just he really doesn't understand the
- 0:19world that Redwood comes from and uh
- 0:21Redwood kind of I think helps him
- 0:23understand that world and a bit about
- 0:24himself through the story as he does
- 0:27most characters in the movie what was
- 0:30that I no I want to hear that again what
- 0:33what was that I said I can go see my
- 0:36father if I want
- 0:39to that was the hardest part was just
- 0:42keeping him human and not just becoming
- 0:44an an an or an animal not
- 0:47letting that overtake the character to
- 0:49the point that that's all that he is
- 0:51that there's still life there there's
- 0:53still kindness and there's still love
- 0:55and there's still all those positive
- 0:56things but at the same time it's all
- 0:57covered with all the crap that gets
- 1:00thrown on us as men coming up the
- 1:02producers the director all the other
- 1:04actors everybody together just made for
- 1:06a really enjoyable experience he has a
- 1:09way of talking to you that you
- 1:10understand it's a director that can
- 1:12communicate with his actors in a way
- 1:14that we understand he just sort of would
- 1:16set up a scenario and let you build off
- 1:19of that scenario so I think it it helped
- 1:21him get some real uh real genuine
- 1:24moments 1978 was I doing I was probably
- 1:31playing with a slinky chewing some
- 1:33Bazooka Bubble Gum saving little comic
