10. 0:20well all this week the former theronos
11. 0:23lab director has been grilled on
12. 0:25cross-examination by elizabeth holmes
13. 0:27lawyers who have been methodically going
14. 0:30over old company emails to poke holes in
15. 0:32the prosecution's case
16. 0:35defense lawyer lance wade showed former
17. 0:38theranos lab director adam rosendorff an
18. 0:40email that the prosecution previously
19. 0:42brought up to prove problems at the lab
20. 0:45it was from theranos employee christian
21. 0:47holmes who emailed his sister elizabeth
22. 0:49in 2014 saying the company's pregnancy
23. 0:52hormone tests were causing some quote
24. 0:54serious issues and patient complaints
25. 0:56but then wade presented a follow-up
26. 0:58email not previously shown that said the
27. 1:00complaints were really about long wait
28. 1:02times for results caused by a shortage
29. 1:04of testing materials called reagents in
30. 1:07the lab rosendorf said he didn't recall
31. 1:09any shortage what the defense is trying
32. 1:12to do is chip away at the lab director's
33. 1:14credibility and i think they were
34. 1:16effective other emails and calendar
35. 1:18entries showed rosendorf met with
36. 1:20elizabeth holmes when he said he didn't
37. 1:22and that holmes responded to being
38. 1:24informed of problems in some cases
39. 1:26within minutes the lab director is a key
40. 1:28witness for both sides in this case from
41. 1:31the moment on a side note wall street
42. 1:33journal reporter john kerry roof filed
43. 1:35papers asking the judge to lift a gag
44. 1:37order placed on him as a potential
45. 1:39witness kerriru whose stories helped
46. 1:41bring down theranos is on the defense
47. 1:44witness list but claims the gag order is
48. 1:46harming his first amendment rights to
49. 1:48cover the trial the defense at this
50. 1:50point is saying we're going to call the
51. 1:51cases we want to see it and he's on our
52. 1:54list he's not he's part of the gag order
53. 1:56just like everybody else
54. 1:57so lynn what's next in the case
55. 2:02believe it or not dr rosendorf isn't
56. 2:04done they're going to be cross-examining
57. 2:06him again on tuesday when they resume
58. 2:08and it looks like they're going to go
59. 2:10all day again and then it will probably
60. 2:12be another day after that
61. 2:14maybe on thursday
62. 2:16when the prosecution gets to come back
63. 2:18and try to rehabilitate some of the
64. 2:20damage that's been done this week
