- 0:00Hey Bible nerds, this is Dr. Manny
- 0:02Orango. Welcome to the Bible department
- 0:04podcast powered by Arma. We are walking
- 0:08through the entire Bible in a year. You
- 0:10can go to the description or the bible
- 0:13department.com to download a reading
- 0:15plan and join the journey
- 0:24family. Welcome to day 314 here on the
- 0:27Bible department. We are looking at Job
- 0:30chapters 8, 9, and 10 today. Chapters 8
- 0:35through 10 of the book of Job. Solid
- 0:38solid chapters. Hey, we are in the thick
- 0:41of the dialogue that Job is having with
- 0:44his three friends. And by the end of
- 0:47this section, uh not the section today,
- 0:49but like this entire section of
- 0:51dialogue, we're going to get a surprise
- 0:54speech from a new friend that has
- 0:57honestly just creepily just been there
- 0:59the whole time and he's going to start
- 1:00talking anyway. We'll talk about that on
- 1:02the day where we get to his content. But
- 1:06uh we are in the thick of Hebrew poetry.
- 1:10If you have not done the reading for the
- 1:11day, I want to invite you, admonish you,
- 1:14challenge you, stop the video, pause the
- 1:16audio, go get the reading done. A lot of
- 1:21nuggets, especially from Job's portion
- 1:24uh of the speech, and we're going to
- 1:26talk about these three friends. And, you
- 1:28know, it it's painful to even read what
- 1:32they have to say. When chapter 8 opens,
- 1:35you know, obviously, we all know Job's
- 1:37children have died. You know this friend
- 1:39Billad is just golly man. Verse four
- 1:43chapter 8 verse4 when your children
- 1:46sinned against him he gave them over to
- 1:48the penalty of their sin. Ah
- 1:52dude even if you're right shut up. Like
- 1:59that is a terrible thing to say to
- 2:00somebody after the children have died.
- 2:03just hoo
- 2:06now he's also not right like what he has
- 2:10to say is not true even if he was this
- 2:14is a good wisdom principle right here
- 2:16even if you're right that doesn't give
- 2:17you the right to say what you're right
- 2:19about okay even if you are right that
- 2:22doesn't give you the right to just say
- 2:24what you're right about so many people
- 2:27you know they say things that are just
- 2:29wild and then they're like but am I
- 2:31wrong though but am I wrong and it's
- 2:33So [snorts] the content of what you're
- 2:35saying isn't wrong, but saying it is
- 2:37definitely inappropriate or, you know,
- 2:40impolite or, you know, just unhinged
- 2:43generally. So all right, let's actually
- 2:46dive into uh some context. Okay, today I
- 2:50want to do something a little different.
- 2:51Uh I actually want to dive into
- 2:54theological context. Okay, theological
- 2:57context. tomorrow we're really going to
- 2:59handle this idea that Job is the oldest
- 3:02book of the Bible cuz that's just not
- 3:04true. But there's a reason why people
- 3:06think that and why people preach that.
- 3:08There something that I've heard from
- 3:10prominent voices like that is something
- 3:13that I've heard from like very very very
- 3:16very prominent pastors, preachers,
- 3:19ministers. Not a very popular idea in
- 3:22the academic space but definitely a
- 3:24popular idea in the church space.
- 3:26Tomorrow we'll tackle that on our
- 3:29context clues. Today though, for our
- 3:31context clues, I just want to tackle
- 3:33some some theological context because if
- 3:37we don't have an understanding of Job's
- 3:41friends theology and Job's theology,
- 3:44then it's going to be hard to even
- 3:45understand like what why why is Job such
- 3:49a hero? Because once you get into
- 3:51chapters 9 and 10 and Job starts
- 3:54responding, you're kind of like, did Job
- 3:57just accuse God of being unjust? Like
- 4:00Job's KIND OF SAYING SOME WILD stuff
- 4:01about God, you know? And I kind of want
- 4:04to help to put what Job is saying in
- 4:07some kind of not historical context,
- 4:09maybe cultural context, but definitely
- 4:11theological context. Okay, so let's talk
- 4:14theology. Okay, this is we'll open up
- 4:17our context clue today by talking about
- 4:19some theology. Now, for many of us,
- 4:22because the Judeo-Christian worldview
- 4:26has influenced the world that we live
- 4:28in, I don't think we realize just how
- 4:32much of a Judeo-Christian ethical
- 4:35worldview we all have, Christians and
- 4:38non-Christians alike. Okay. It is a
- 4:42Judeo-Christian ethic, a Judeo-Christian
- 4:45worldview that is behind some of the
- 4:49literature that has shaped the Western
- 4:51world, right? Like the Magna Carta, like
- 4:55the Constitution of the United States of
- 4:57America, like like the Bill of Rights.
- 4:59Okay? Now, I'm not here to debate
- 5:02whether or not America was founded as a
- 5:04Christian country or blah blah blah blah
- 5:05blah. That's I don't have a dog in that
- 5:08fight. That's not something I care
- 5:09about. What I do care about is how we
- 5:14don't even realize how moral of a
- 5:18society we live in because the world
- 5:21that we live in has been I mean
- 5:24thoroughly shaped by a Judeo-Christian
- 5:28ethical worldview. Okay. So even someone
- 5:32who's like protesting
- 5:35against you know religion it is
- 5:38Christianity as a religion that gives
- 5:41them the right like like in the history
- 5:45of society to to protest like like like
- 5:50prior to a a thoroughly biblical
- 5:53worldview shaping the world there is no
- 5:56like freedom of speech or like or like
- 5:59just human rights.
- 6:01like human rights is not an idea in the
- 6:04Babylonian world or in the Canaanite
- 6:06world or in the Roman world or in the
- 6:09Persian world. There there is not a
- 6:12world where human rights is a thing
- 6:14outside of like a Judeo-Christian ethic.
- 6:17Okay? that that people are endowed with
- 6:21like value like as as a human that
- 6:25understanding stems from people being
- 6:28made in the image of God. Okay. So even
- 6:32for the secularist who is an atheist to
- 6:35themselves you know the the
- 6:36self-proclaimed atheist they are
- 6:38standing on the shoulders of Christians
- 6:42by even arguing human rights. Okay,
- 6:45human rights in terms of just the
- 6:47history of thought in the world, uh,
- 6:51Christians can take credit for that. All
- 6:53right, without the Bible, no one would
- 6:56be arguing for human rights. Okay?
- 6:58Nobody in the Roman world, nobody in the
- 7:00Persian world, nobody in the Babylonian
- 7:03world or the Assyrian world or the
- 7:04Canaanite world believes any of that.
- 7:07There is no human rights for for
- 7:09anybody. The reason they are human
- 7:11rights is because Christianity like I
- 7:13mean took hold in the Roman world and
- 7:16changed Western civilization irrevocably
- 7:19like forever. Okay. So I just want to
- 7:22like get that out there. So we have to
- 7:24then think all right what is the
- 7:26theological worldview for someone living
- 7:31in Job's time and that theological
- 7:34worldview is essentially like there's
- 7:35only a couple of sins like couple of big
- 7:38ones right like stealing stuff sexually
- 7:40assaulting people uh murder you know
- 7:44outside of that there isn't like we
- 7:46don't have this idea in the in the pagan
- 7:50world of like sin Okay, this is why the
- 7:54law is revolutionary. Okay, we read
- 7:58Deuteronomy and we're just kind of like,
- 8:00"Oh gosh, got to get to the end. This is
- 8:02boring." Okay, in the ancient world,
- 8:04revolutionary that there's a God that
- 8:07would outline like what's sinful, like
- 8:10what's moral revolutionary. If you're a
- 8:13pagan and you have not sexually
- 8:15assaulted someone, murdered someone, or
- 8:18or stolen, and bad things are happening
- 8:21to you, there's this superstition
- 8:24default. I would say a superstitious
- 8:26default where you would immediately just
- 8:28assume, gosh, I must have ticked off a
- 8:33god or the gods somehow. Don't know what
- 8:36I did. Don't know how I did it. I made
- 8:39the gods angry. Okay. So, this could be
- 8:42the gods must have a plot of ground or a
- 8:45plot of land out in the woods while I
- 8:47was hunting and they they must have some
- 8:49ground out there that's holy and I must
- 8:52have made a mistake and stepped on it.
- 8:53That's why my kid died or that's why,
- 8:56you know, my crops aren't aren't that's
- 8:58why there's a drought or I must have
- 9:00done something. So, so outside of like,
- 9:03you know, sexual assault, murder, and
- 9:06stealing, you know, if if something bad
- 9:09is happening to you, you're assuming,
- 9:12gosh, dang it, I should have felt I
- 9:15should have fed Baal some more corn.
- 9:17Like, like, I must have done something.
- 9:20Okay. And this is the perspective that
- 9:23Job's friends have. They have a
- 9:26perspective that's like, bro, you must
- 9:28have done something. And it doesn't have
- 9:30to be a sin. It could be some kind of
- 9:35petty religious act that maybe you cut
- 9:39corners on unknowingly. Okay? And so
- 9:43there's two reasons why Job is going to
- 9:46be platformed as a hero. And without
- 9:50knowing just how like superstitious the
- 9:52ancient world is, you don't really get
- 9:54it. And so I want to give theological
- 9:56context. Okay, let's dive into these two
- 9:58reasons. Number one, Job never curses
- 10:01God. Doesn't do it. He doesn't curse
- 10:04God. Now, he says a lot of things about
- 10:05God that aren't true. He says God's not
- 10:08just. He He essentially calls God petty.
- 10:10He said a lot of things about God, but
- 10:12he never curses God. Okay? And number
- 10:15two, he never sacrifices offerings to
- 10:20God in order to repent. And for many of
- 10:24us, that is a foreign idea. Okay. So
- 10:27what Elephaz, Billad, and Zofar are
- 10:31trying to get Joe to do is like, "Dude,
- 10:33ju come on, man. Just offer a sacrifice.
- 10:37JUST SAY YOU'RE SORRY, DUDE. YOU COULD
- 10:39HAVE BEEN WALKING IN THE WOODS AND
- 10:42STEPPED on one of God's twigs and broke
- 10:45it and GOD COULD BE MAD CUZ you you
- 10:47BROKE ONE OF HIS TWIGS." And that may
- 10:49sound ridiculous to you and I, but I'm
- 10:51not joking. I'm 100% serious. like all
- 10:55throughout the ancient world, Canaanite,
- 10:56Babylonian, Persian world, it was really
- 11:00like trying to solve a Rubik's cube on
- 11:02how to please the gods and essentially
- 11:05everyone is in a codependent
- 11:06relationship with the gods. Okay, so you
- 11:09know, most people don't love the gods,
- 11:11they hate the gods because the gods are
- 11:13unpredictable. It's like they could just
- 11:16make your life terrible and you don't
- 11:18know why, but you need them. So, you're
- 11:21in this toxic codependent relationship
- 11:22with the gods. And the gods don't really
- 11:25like humans. They hate humans. If you
- 11:27read pagan literature, the gods hate
- 11:30humans, but they do away with the
- 11:32humans. They're going to be hungry.
- 11:33Who's going to sacrifice food? You know,
- 11:35like they they don't want to get their
- 11:37own food. So, they're in a codependent
- 11:40toxic relationship with humans. The gods
- 11:42and humans are in this toxic codependent
- 11:45relationship. So the friends are just
- 11:47like, "Dude, just cover your bases. Just
- 11:51get some animals, THROW THEM ON THE
- 11:53ALTAR, AND JUST SACRIFICE TO GOD.
- 11:56Sacrifice to Yahweh." Actually, they're
- 11:59going to call the the friends call God
- 12:01Elshadai. We'll get into that tomorrow
- 12:03on why. So Job refuses to do that for
- 12:07two reasons. Job refuses to do that
- 12:10because a he's innocent. But Job refuses
- 12:12to do that because he understands that
- 12:14God's not like that. God doesn't have
- 12:17special twigs out in the forest and if
- 12:20you step on one of his special twigs, he
- 12:21kills your kid. That's not what God's
- 12:23like. At least that's not what the God
- 12:25of the Bible's like. That's not what
- 12:27Yahweh's like. That's not what Elshadai
- 12:29is like. And because Job doesn't just
- 12:33bust out a sacrifice and offer up an an
- 12:38animal sacrifice to appease God, he
- 12:42therefore wins. Like that is winning. So
- 12:46there's two reasons why Job wins against
- 12:50Satan or the Satan, the accuser. He wins
- 12:52because he never curses God. And then he
- 12:54wins because he understands something
- 12:57about God.
- 12:58>> [snorts]
- 12:58>> He understands that God won't just take
- 13:03your kids away because you did something
- 13:07that you didn't even know you were
- 13:08doing. It's this idea, you know, and by
- 13:12the way, today is Halloween. And you
- 13:15know, there's always Christians who are
- 13:16going to be like, "We can't celebrate
- 13:18Halloween OR WE CAN'T GO TO YOGA. We
- 13:20can't do this or we can't do that. We
- 13:22can't do this." And I just always want
- 13:24to remind people, hey, hey, worship is
- 13:26an act of your will. I I think sometimes
- 13:29there's all this fear-mongering and we
- 13:32it's like we convince Christians that
- 13:33you could worship by accident. YOU'RE
- 13:35GOING TO ACCIDENTALLY worship Satan. No,
- 13:38there's no way to accidentally worship
- 13:40anything. And so what Job is doing is
- 13:42saying, "No, no, no. It didn't
- 13:44accidentally sin. There's no such thing
- 13:46as accidentally like doing something
- 13:49that bothers God. God has laid out in
- 13:53his law what he requires from us and
- 13:56what he doesn't require. We're not in a
- 14:00guessing game. So, I'm not going to
- 14:02offer up sacrifices just to be safe.
- 14:05Now, there's a bunch of other things we
- 14:07could talk about, but a lot of those
- 14:09things you could probably see on your
- 14:11own, but that I just felt like that is
- 14:14theological context that the average
- 14:18reader just doesn't have. And so Job is
- 14:22going to win this trial against the
- 14:27accuser against the Satan or Hassatan by
- 14:32Satan is the correct pronunciation for
- 14:34Satan by never cursing God. Never curses
- 14:38God. Does he have some bad theology?
- 14:40Absolutely. Does he vent and is honest?
- 14:44Yeah. Does he say some things that I
- 14:46wouldn't be comfortable saying? Yeah.
- 14:48But God doesn't judge us based on our
- 14:50theology. He judges us based on our
- 14:52theopraxy that that's theology is right
- 14:56knowledge like like right word.
- 14:59Theopraxy is right action. Okay. So Job
- 15:03although he has some theology that I
- 15:05would love to tweak and fix. I wish I
- 15:07could go back in time and like help Job
- 15:09out. He has good he has perfect
- 15:12theopraxy. What he actually does does
- 15:15not displease the Lord. And honestly,
- 15:18that's all of us. God doesn't judge us
- 15:21based on our theology. God judges us
- 15:23based on our theopraxy like what we do.
- 15:26Now, let me communicate with nuance.
- 15:28What we do is determined by our
- 15:31theology. But however, you can do the
- 15:33right thing and your motives and your
- 15:38thoughts can catch up if you're
- 15:41practicing the right stuff. Okay? All
- 15:44right. There's so much more to go into.
- 15:48However, let let me just give you this
- 15:50last little bit because this whole
- 15:52dialogue is going to be between, you
- 15:54know, Elephas gonna talk, then Job, then
- 15:56Billad, then Job, then Zofar, then Job.
- 15:59Okay? And they have slight nuances.
- 16:02Elephas is only going to talk from
- 16:04personal experience. So, he's giving
- 16:06wisdom from personal experience. That is
- 16:08kind of how I would summarize everything
- 16:10Elephaz has to say. Now, Elephaz,
- 16:13Bildad, and Zofar are all essentially
- 16:16saying, "Hey, Job, you did something.
- 16:18You did something. Just fess up, dude.
- 16:20Fess up and offer a sacrifice. You did
- 16:23something. God is just and you did
- 16:26something." Job is arguing, "I didn't do
- 16:29I did nothing. I'm innocent and
- 16:31therefore God's not just." Both are
- 16:33wrong. But both Job and the friends are
- 16:36wrong. We as the audience have
- 16:38information that neither Job or his
- 16:40friends have. So, Elephaz, Bildad, and
- 16:44Zofar are all arguing essentially what's
- 16:47called retribution, which if you look at
- 16:50what Elephaz, Bildad, and Zofar have to
- 16:53say, and you didn't have someone telling
- 16:55you that they're wrong, what they have
- 16:57to say doesn't sound wrong. That
- 16:59actually sounds a lot like the book of
- 17:00Proverbs, okay? Because they have a very
- 17:03proverbial perspective. Now, Elephaz is
- 17:06typically going to give wisdom from
- 17:08personal experience. Number two, Bill
- 17:10Dad is going to give philosophical
- 17:13answers. This is more like this is stuff
- 17:17that's universally true based on
- 17:19research and Zofar is going to give
- 17:22always going to offer black and white
- 17:25perspective. Job, you're trying to
- 17:26create a lot of gray here. This is very
- 17:28black and white. Life is pretty simple.
- 17:31So, so these are the three strands of
- 17:33wisdom in the ancient world. The first
- 17:34strand of wisdom is dude, I may not be
- 17:37that smart, but from my personal
- 17:40experience, buying Bitcoin's fantastic.
- 17:42You know, that doesn't mean you have a
- 17:43bunch of research on Bitcoin. It just
- 17:45means it worked for you. There's a lot
- 17:46of people who they think they're wise
- 17:48because things worked for them. Second,
- 17:51research, information, truth, you know,
- 17:54general wisdom, you know, a rule of
- 17:56thumb. Okay, this is the person who's
- 17:59learned, who's studied, and the reality
- 18:02is that just because you're smart, and
- 18:04just because you have a lot of
- 18:05information doesn't mean that you're
- 18:07wise. Okay? And a lot of people assume
- 18:10that I'm going to come off that way cuz
- 18:12I have a doctorate and then they're
- 18:14shocked when I don't come off that way.
- 18:16And I'm like, yeah, cuz I got a
- 18:18doctorate in a pursuit of wisdom, not
- 18:20just information. And then black and
- 18:22white. Zofar is black and white. And the
- 18:24reality is that wisdom doesn't come from
- 18:27being black and white. Wisdom comes from
- 18:29understanding nuance and gray. And gray
- 18:32throws a lot of people off. And the more
- 18:35complicated of a society we live in, the
- 18:37more there's this desire to just be
- 18:39black and white. And I promise you, I
- 18:41promise you, just being black and white
- 18:44is not going to help the the people who
- 18:47are stuck in black or white. Right? If
- 18:51someone's stuck in transgenderism and
- 18:55you are very like, "Hey, there's boys
- 18:57and there's girls. It's black and
- 18:58white." It's like, "Got it. Fantastic.
- 19:00You won the argument, but you didn't win
- 19:01the person." And the goal is not just to
- 19:04win the argument. It's to win the
- 19:05person. And there's a difference between
- 19:07telling the truth and leading people
- 19:09into truth. Okay? The Holy Spirit
- 19:12doesn't just tell the truth or reveal
- 19:14the truth. The Holy Spirit leads us into
- 19:17truth. And people who really have
- 19:19unlocked the gift of wisdom know how to
- 19:22lead people into the truth. Not just
- 19:25tell them the truth, not just bark the
- 19:27truth at them, but lead them into the
- 19:30truth. Communicate in such a way that
- 19:33helps them to see the truth that's right
- 19:36there in front of them. Okay? So,
- 19:38Elephaz, Buildad, and Zofar all have the
- 19:41same perspective, but they're all going
- 19:43to communicate their perspective with
- 19:46unique styles of communication. And I
- 19:49actually think that these styles of
- 19:50communication still exist today. And Job
- 19:53is obviously going to respond to each of
- 19:55them over the course of multiple cycles
- 19:58of confrontation and communication. All
- 20:00right, that's a nuance that maybe you
- 20:02wouldn't have seen if you were just
- 20:03reading on your own. So, I wanted to
- 20:05make that aware. I wanted to make make
- 20:07you aware of just that little nerdy
- 20:09nugget. All right, timeless truth
- 20:12family. The wait is over. My brand new
- 20:15book, Crushing Chaos, is out now and
- 20:18available everywhere books are sold
- 20:21literally today. I walked into a Barnes
- 20:24& Noble and I signed a bunch of copies
- 20:27at a physical location. So, you can grab
- 20:30this book at a physical Barnes & Noble
- 20:32or you can go to a Books a Million or
- 20:35Amazon or anywhere books are sold and
- 20:38grab a copy. If you enjoy reading the
- 20:41Bible from an ancient perspective, if
- 20:43you understand that the beauty of
- 20:45scripture is actually knowing it in
- 20:47context, then you'll love this book. And
- 20:51if there's any chaos in your personal
- 20:52life, [music] I think that reading the
- 20:55Bible from an ancient perspective can
- 20:57actually help to crush the chaos in your
- 20:59life. I THINK THIS BOOK IS GOING to be a
- 21:01New York Times bestseller. I really do.
- 21:03I think we wrote a good one. I think you
- 21:06should get a copy today. All right, back
- 21:09to the episode. Job is going to demand
- 21:12to meet with God. All right, Job is
- 21:14going to make it clear. Hey, I want an
- 21:17encounter with Yahweh. Me and this dude
- 21:19need to talk. All right, which is good.
- 21:22Confrontation is good. Uh I'm going to
- 21:24throw out a rand a stat that's going to
- 21:26feel random. Uh but in America, 70 to
- 21:3090% of all divorces initiated by women.
- 21:3370% is the stat that's quoted a lot, but
- 21:37if a woman is college uh educated or has
- 21:41a master's degree or doctorate or is any
- 21:43kind of like just successful, it goes up
- 21:45to 90%. which means men don't file for
- 21:48divorce often. Now, why? And the answer
- 21:51may shock you. It's because men just be
- 21:54leaving. Period. A dude will wake up and
- 21:57there's just like I mean thousands of
- 21:59stories. I'm not just giving like
- 22:01anecdotal kind of, you know, thoughts.
- 22:04I'm actually telling you like data. The
- 22:06reason that women end up filing for
- 22:08divorce at absorbbitant rates, obviously
- 22:11way more than 50% of the time, is
- 22:13because there are a hundreds of
- 22:15thousands of stories of men just waking
- 22:17up one day and just going to work and
- 22:19never coming home, just disappearing.
- 22:22And honestly, like they'll just stop
- 22:24paying the mortgage, won't and will
- 22:27literally disappear. They're just I'm
- 22:29out. A dude will realize I've been
- 22:30emotionally checked out for years. I'm
- 22:32just going to leave. I'm out of here.
- 22:34We'll just move to Minneapolis. I don't
- 22:37know why Minneapolis is the place that
- 22:38came to mind. Just just we'll move to
- 22:40Boise, Idaho. I'm out. Just they're out
- 22:43of here. Which then forces women to have
- 22:45to, you know, file the paperwork because
- 22:48dudes just won't. They they will
- 22:50literally just leave. And you want to
- 22:51know something? Like that's not
- 22:53admirable. Just chucking up the deuces
- 22:55and ghosting your wife. That's cowardly.
- 22:59Like that's terrible. But there's a lot
- 23:01of people that's how they interact with
- 23:02God. You just ghosted God. He just And
- 23:05Job refuses to ghost Yahweh. Instead of
- 23:08ghosting the Lord, he's like, "Let's
- 23:11have a showdown. Let's confront each
- 23:14other. Like, let's talk. I'm demanding
- 23:17an encounter with you." And guess what?
- 23:20God can deal with that. Guess what? God
- 23:22doesn't deal with you ghosting him. You
- 23:25just like disappearing. You just like
- 23:27taking your ball and leaving cuz life
- 23:29got hard. And that right there, that's
- 23:32where our Thomas truth is today. Because
- 23:34there's a lot of us, religion taught you
- 23:37that talking to God, the way Job is
- 23:39talking to God and maybe the way that
- 23:41David talks to God is just
- 23:42inappropriate,
- 23:44not respectful. But guess what? You're
- 23:47now in the opposite extreme, which you
- 23:49don't say anything. Now you have pent up
- 23:52frustration. And really, you are angry
- 23:54with God. You just won't admit that
- 23:55you're angry with God. And the more you
- 23:58won't say anything to God, there's not
- 24:00even hope for there to be healing
- 24:03because you cannot heal what you refuse
- 24:06to reveal. So, you're harboring
- 24:08bitterness towards God and, you know,
- 24:11disappointment. But instead of bringing
- 24:14it out into the open and and talking to
- 24:16God like a grownup, you've decided to
- 24:20just ghost him. And my challenge to you
- 24:22today is I'd rather you be more like
- 24:24Job. Uh, I'd rather you not be like the
- 24:26husband who just picks up and moves to
- 24:28Idaho and just, you know, I'm out. Like,
- 24:31that's cowardly. And there's a lot of us
- 24:33who deal with God in a very cowardly
- 24:35way. And the reality is that you're not
- 24:38going to get far in your spiritual life
- 24:39if you deal with God in ways that are
- 24:41cowardly. Tomorrow, we got day 3:15.
- 24:45We're going to be looking at Job 11
- 24:46through14. It's going to be fantastic.
- 24:49We're going to continue looking at the
