  2. 0:04all right good evening it should hardly
  3. 0:10come as a surprise to anyone in this
  4. 0:12room that colleges and universities have
  5. 0:14become flashpoints for the most heated
  6. 0:16culture war conflicts of the day
  7. 0:19universities are now the sights of far
  8. 0:22left-wing and doctrine ation of students
  9. 0:24anarchic violence against conservative
  10. 0:27speakers and students administrators
  11. 0:29literally under siege from radicalized
  12. 0:31minority students demanding social
  13. 0:33justice payback students wailing about
  14. 0:36microaggressions and retreating into
  15. 0:38segregated safe spaces to sum up our
  16. 0:42former institutions of higher learning
  17. 0:44have degenerated into circuses of
  18. 0:46militant irrationality and radicalism
  19. 0:50how did it come to this well to answer
  20. 0:53that question you could do no better
  21. 0:54than to read david Horowitz's book the
  22. 0:57left in the university vol 8 of and the
  23. 1:01latest addition to his series of
  24. 1:03collected conservative writings entitled
  25. 1:05the black book of the american left this
  26. 1:08book contains nearly four dozen essays
  27. 1:10written from 1993 to 2010 and it
  28. 1:14addresses what david horowitz describes
  29. 1:16as one of the underappreciated tragedies
  30. 1:18of our time the successful campaign of
  31. 1:21the left to subvert the curricula of
  32. 1:23collegiate institutions and transform
  33. 1:26entire schools and departments into
  34. 1:28doctrinal training centers for their
  35. 1:30social and political causes this
  36. 1:33campaign arguably has done more to steer
  37. 1:35America toward the left's goal of the
  38. 1:37fundamental transformation of this
  39. 1:38country than any other strategy of
  40. 1:41cultural Marxism this book chronicles
  41. 1:44that campaign over most of the last
  42. 1:45quarter century and David's efforts to
  43. 1:47bring some political neutrality and
  44. 1:49intellectual integrity to college
  45. 1:51classrooms
  46. 1:52you already know David Horowitz is the
  47. 1:55author of too many books and articles to
  48. 1:56name all of them essential reading for
  49. 1:58understanding the radical left and for
  50. 2:00waging war against it among them our New
  51. 2:03York Times bestsellers radical son
  52. 2:05unholy alliance and most recently big
  53. 2:08agenda president Trump's plan to save
  54. 2:10America and if you've heard me introduce
  55. 2:13David before you've no doubt heard me
  56. 2:14call him the left most hated a pasta
  57. 2:17because he knows them better than they
  58. 2:19know themselves and that makes him an
  59. 2:21existential threat to them and
  60. 2:23invaluable to us ladies and gentlemen
  61. 2:27please welcome the author of the left in
  62. 2:28the university and the founder of the
  63. 2:30Freedom Center David Horowitz thank you
  64. 2:41Mark thank you everybody for coming I
  65. 2:45was last week I was at the University of
  66. 2:49Houston in Houston where the week before
  67. 2:55not they had held a National Conference
  68. 3:00for students for justice in Palestine
  69. 3:04the University hosted students for
  70. 3:07justice in Palestine is a creature of
  71. 3:10the terrorist organization Hamas and is
  72. 3:12on mass propaganda network and I brought
  73. 3:17along a little clip to show you so you
  74. 3:20can share with me founder of Hamas said
  75. 3:30this there's no place for you Jews among
  76. 3:33us and you have no future among the
  77. 3:36nations of the world you are headed to
  78. 3:38annihilation so it's very clear that I'm
  79. 3:40on her protection
  80. 3:41it's to destroy the Jewish state and to
  81. 3:45annihilate us Jews students students for
  82. 3:50justice in Palestine which I selected
  83. 3:52many in here was created by Hamas

  93. 5:26that was seven minutes into my talk and
  94. 5:31I had said at the outset of the talk
  95. 5:33that when I was a radical at Berkeley in
  96. 5:38Columbia and 60s I always wanted to hear
  97. 5:43what the other side had to say because I
  98. 5:46I felt that would make me a better
  99. 5:47radical I would have the arguments those
  100. 5:51days are gone the greatest American
  101. 5:55tragedy of my lifetime is the
  102. 6:00destruction of our educational system by
  103. 6:04progressives and that it's conversion
  104. 6:07into an indoctrination and recruitment
  105. 6:11center for the ideological left this
  106. 6:17book that I've written the left in the
  107. 6:19university is the sixth book that I've
  108. 6:23written about the universities and this
  109. 6:25problem which has been 50 years in the
  110. 6:29making and it it has a special interest
  111. 6:34because it's really dispatches from a
  112. 6:37war front it recounts it it's what I
  113. 6:43wrote engaging in a battle to restore
  114. 6:49academic freedom to the University to
  115. 6:51restore the modern research university
  116. 6:56to our basically our liberal arts
  117. 6:59colleges the principles of it
  118. 7:01I am I based my campaign which was for a
  119. 7:05and academic Bill of Rights for students
  120. 7:08on the
  121. 7:10very famous academic freedom statement
  122. 7:14of the American Association of
  123. 7:16University Professors which these days
  124. 7:19is run by Stalinists who we're not happy
  125. 7:24with my proposals but I took their 1915
  126. 7:28statement which was really the statement
  127. 7:31that created the modern research
  128. 7:32university basing it on scientific
  129. 7:37principles and scientific procedures
  130. 7:39that is you have a hypothesis and you
  131. 7:44confront it with counter opinions and
  132. 7:49you try to test it by evidence and of
  133. 7:52course in a liberal arts feels the
  134. 7:55humanities sociology always feels
  135. 7:58political science there's no way of
  136. 8:02conducting the kind of experiments that
  137. 8:04scientists actually do so every issue is
  138. 8:07controversial and the 19:15 stay at the
  139. 8:11place of a faculty member in a democracy
  140. 8:16to indoctrinate his or her students but
  141. 8:18to present them with divergent opinions
  142. 8:21in a fair-minded way because the task of
  143. 8:25a teacher in a democracy is to teach
  144. 8:28students how to think not tell them what
  145. 8:31to think what's actually happened over
  146. 8:34the last 50 years is that the political
  147. 8:37left and I I suspect a lot of my
  148. 8:41generation of radicals
  149. 8:42stayed in the Universities and pursued
  150. 8:46academic careers to avoid the draft and
  151. 8:50to avoid fighting communism which they
  152. 8:52sympathized with and what they've done
  153. 8:56is they reverted the universities the
  154. 9:00colleges obviously not the physics
  155. 9:02departments and geology departments but
  156. 9:04they the citizen training aspects of the
  157. 9:10university all the social studies fields
  158. 9:14and the law and so forth they reverted
  159. 9:18them to their nineteenth-century origins
  160. 9:20in the 19th century all of our College
  161. 9:24were doctrinal institutions they were
  162. 9:26religious institutions Harvard Yale they
  163. 9:30and what they were there for was to
  164. 9:33instill the doctrines of the particular
  165. 9:35denomination because they were training
  166. 9:38ministers and priests and so forth and
  167. 9:42that's what our universities have become
  168. 9:45today except that the religious
  169. 9:49doctrines that they teach and then and
  170. 9:52then still are the doctrines of Marxism
  171. 9:58identity politics which is cultural
  172. 10:01Marxism which I'll explain shortly and
  173. 10:07for those of you who are mystified that
  174. 10:10college students should want to it's not
  175. 10:13just the perfect they believe me there
  176. 10:15are there's a whole faculty cohort
  177. 10:18behind these Pro terrorist students and
  178. 10:21these anti-democratic students and anti
  179. 10:24learning students as I say when I was a
  180. 10:27radical and I consider myself a Marxist
  181. 10:32revolutionary at the time I wanted to
  182. 10:35hear what our opponents were saying I
  183. 10:38wanted to be able to answer them as I
  184. 10:40was in school to learn how to do that
  185. 10:43that's the way I perceived it if you
  186. 10:49want to understand why there's this
  187. 10:51concerted effort to shut down the other
  188. 10:55side of the debate it's because these
  189. 10:57are religious institutions now our
  190. 11:00liberal arts colleges and they're not
  191. 11:02dealing with a divergent opinion as one
  192. 11:06would in a democracy they're dealing
  193. 11:09with a religious heresy and what you do
  194. 11:12to heretics is you burn them at the
  195. 11:14stake if you have enough power to do
  196. 11:17that or you just close them down as
  197. 11:20happened for example to charles murray
  198. 11:23and university of michigan and other
  199. 11:26conservatives i mean this is it's
  200. 11:28nothing personal I don't take this at
  201. 11:30all personally so what happened was
  202. 11:34beginning in the 19th
  203. 11:35the left saw the universities as
  204. 11:39instruments of their revolutionary
  205. 11:41designs and so the first thing they did
  206. 11:45was begin a purge of conservatives from
  207. 11:48faculties by not hiring them basically
  208. 11:51so that today on most college campuses
  209. 11:54conservatives are as rare as unicorns
  210. 11:58they then they purged conservative books
  211. 12:03from the required reading lists they
  212. 12:05student normal Stan average student can
  213. 12:08go through four years of a college in
  214. 12:10our country today never encountered
  215. 12:13encounter a conservative adult or read a
  216. 12:17book by a conservative who hasn't been
  217. 12:19dead for a hundred years the next thing
  218. 12:22they did was to purge conservative ideas
  219. 12:24from the curriculum and they did that by
  220. 12:27inventing what they called studies
  221. 12:30American Studies Black Studies Women's
  222. 12:35Studies these are all political fields
  223. 12:37they're not scholarly fields but they're
  224. 12:40about learning left-wing politics you
  225. 12:44couldn't be a conservative and dear
  226. 12:46women's studies professor because
  227. 12:48women's studies is not about the
  228. 12:50academic study of women it's about
  229. 12:53training Marxist feminists it's about
  230. 12:58training students in the in the
  231. 13:00discipline you know thoroughly
  232. 13:02discredited Marxist idea that the
  233. 13:05environment determines everything that
  234. 13:06we are socially constructed and that's
  235. 13:09how you get this idea that a gender is
  236. 13:12socially constructive socially
  237. 13:15influenced but socially constructed if
  238. 13:18you go over to the neuroscience
  239. 13:19department or to the biology department
  240. 13:21you learn that it's hardwired into the
  241. 13:26biological system job well elevates is
  242. 13:29obvious Tanny normal human being lesson
  243. 13:32had their brains clued up by leftist
  244. 13:34ideology so the fields now are so
  245. 13:40constructed that a conservative really
  246. 13:42can hardly be part of them or could not
  247. 13:44be part of them there are no
  248. 13:45conservatives and
  249. 13:46women studies departments that's some of
  250. 13:51the founders of women's studies who
  251. 13:53actually believe they should be about
  252. 13:55the study of women you know I've been
  253. 13:58purged and you know treated as enemies
  254. 14:01by these political radicals on our on
  255. 14:04our faculties the next thing that they
  256. 14:07did was to prevent conservative
  257. 14:13discourse coming in from the outside now
  258. 14:16when you come to a campus and you get
  259. 14:18treated like this
  260. 14:20of course the cougar the newspaper they
  261. 14:23are the entire report was of the
  262. 14:27demonstration on anything that I said so
  263. 14:30I'm you know just basically the
  264. 14:33university was deaf to my presence which
  265. 14:37was the it's the purpose its the agenda
  266. 14:41of the left but until about 2001 I was
  267. 14:46reminded of this by one of the chapters
  268. 14:49in my book the left and the university
  269. 14:51is called and culture at Cornell and
  270. 14:54it's when Ann was pelted with oranges
  271. 14:56physically attacked when she was
  272. 14:59speaking and if you think having an
  273. 15:02orange thrown at you at high speed isn't
  274. 15:07intimidating it is I remembered that in
  275. 15:132001 I had conducted a campaign I
  276. 15:16thought the idea of reparations for
  277. 15:19slavery paid a hundred and thirty seven
  278. 15:22years after the fact
  279. 15:23from people who were never slave owners
  280. 15:26to people who were never slaves was a
  281. 15:30bad idea and actually racist and at the
  282. 15:35indiscretion to say so when I was
  283. 15:39invited to speak by college Republicans
  284. 15:42at the University of California Berkeley
  285. 15:44I asked the Chancellor I I wrote the
  286. 15:48Chancellor and said because I knew that
  287. 15:50yahoo had been unable to speak in
  288. 15:52Berkeley because of the threats of
  289. 15:55violence uh hobb which they couldn't
  290. 15:57contain us all right
  291. 15:58to introduce me well somebody from his
  292. 16:01office introduced me just to protect the
  293. 16:04students and what he did was he assigned
  294. 16:0730 armed guards for my talk when I had
  295. 16:13to go to the bathroom before I spoke six
  296. 16:16guys in flak jackets preceded me into
  297. 16:19the bathroom and kicked open the stall
  298. 16:21doors and I remember saying out laughter
  299. 16:24that this is an absolute disgrace in
  300. 16:27America but when you have university
  301. 16:30officials like that there's no way to
  302. 16:31stop it
  303. 16:32you have to expel students who do things
  304. 16:36like these students did we're like
  305. 16:39they're doing now at Reed College where
  306. 16:41they're demonstrating inside classrooms
  307. 16:44they don't want Aristotle taught because
  308. 16:47he was white Wow that University
  309. 16:52actually I had visited Reid and I
  310. 16:54thought it was a pretty pretty good
  311. 16:56school even though it's a left-wing
  312. 16:58school is very traditional and the
  313. 17:00students were all interested in
  314. 17:01discussing ideas with me not attacking
  315. 17:04me political but that obviously
  316. 17:07obviously has has changed
  317. 17:12so in 2001 what happened is people
  318. 17:16started to get physically attacked and I
  319. 17:19had a bodyguard for that Berkeley event
  320. 17:21and I have not been able to go to a
  321. 17:26college campus I mean I've been
  322. 17:27physically attacked before that um I'm
  323. 17:33trying to think cuz I'm a little lacks
  324. 17:34about these things and I visited Butler
  325. 17:37I did not have a bodyguard when I was at
  326. 17:42Butler and I was attacked through this
  327. 17:45chocolate cream pie in my face which
  328. 17:48isn't physically damaging but there's a
  329. 17:50picture of me on the internet looking
  330. 17:52pretty pathetic I mean it was I was
  331. 17:54wearing a suit and it was just gooey
  332. 17:56stuff but I'd been physically attacked
  333. 17:59where violence that would hurt me was
  334. 18:05intended and I could never finish a
  335. 18:07speech if there wasn't massive camp
  336. 18:09security think the campuses know they
  337. 18:12have a security problem um so when I
  338. 18:16when I spoke at the University of
  339. 18:18Houston there were about 10 cops in
  340. 18:20uniform and there were two undercover
  341. 18:24cops in the audience and they that's why
  342. 18:28they marched out because they knew now
  343. 18:31that they would be arrested if they did
  344. 18:33anything but when you go to a campus in
  345. 18:35you that's the atmosphere it's not an
  346. 18:40intellectual discourse anymore there's
  347. 18:43not going to be an exchange of ideas and
  348. 18:45let me say I've been on four hundred
  349. 18:47college campuses and only three times
  350. 18:50have I been invited by faculty once by a
  351. 18:54Dean who I got there he hid from me
  352. 18:57because he was under assault from his
  353. 18:59own faculty and the fact of the matter
  354. 19:03is that there is no I mean I I'm sure
  355. 19:06there were decent people on faculties
  356. 19:09across this country but none of them has
  357. 19:12the courage to stand up for the
  358. 19:14conservatives and invite them the
  359. 19:16solution to the Berkeley problem or any
  360. 19:18of these problems is for the faculty to
  361. 19:20band together and invite a conservative
  362. 19:23and lecture the students who come and
  363. 19:27the students on campus to fight for the
  364. 19:29right for free speech there are no such
  365. 19:31people that is a huge problem and that
  366. 19:35is an indictment of the whole university
  367. 19:38system the college system and that is
  368. 19:42part of the complete conversion of the
  369. 19:45university into a one-party system in a
  370. 19:47one-party state and one of the books I
  371. 19:50wrote with Jacob Blackson it's called
  372. 19:53one party classroom because that's what
  373. 19:57it is it's a one-party state you get one
  374. 20:01point of view yeah one of the
  375. 20:06consequences of this is the
  376. 20:11mis-education or a lack of education of
  377. 20:15college graduates now
  378. 20:21years here oh the percentage
  379. 20:24I think one-third of Millennials think
  380. 20:28that George Bush killed more people than
  381. 20:30Joseph Stalin 25% of the students who
  382. 20:38actually know who Lenin was and that's a
  383. 20:40minority I think he was a great guy
  384. 20:45you know I could go on and on with these
  385. 20:47these things but of course this has
  386. 20:50affected our judiciary you wonder why
  387. 20:54the media is such a disgrace these days
  388. 21:00it's because of the way people are
  389. 21:04educated the communications departments
  390. 21:06our training rounds in Marxism III I've
  391. 21:12been to the University you know the
  392. 21:14University of Texas when I went there in
  393. 21:17Austin a professor of communications who
  394. 21:20is a Bolshevik sees a and remember the
  395. 21:24international socialist was a Bolshevik
  396. 21:26organization which is calling it's
  397. 21:29called for a dictatorship of the
  398. 21:30proletariat in America inside the
  399. 21:33lecture hall where I supposed to speak
  400. 21:36was leading chants exactly like then
  401. 21:39when you saw at the top of my talk here
  402. 21:42um and I was only able to continue
  403. 21:45because there was a vice chancellor who
  404. 21:48came and now this is in the good old
  405. 21:51days and said you know you'll be
  406. 21:54arrested if you continue this
  407. 21:56demonstration in here and it took her a
  408. 21:58long time to stop people usually they
  409. 22:00come in and they say these
  410. 22:03administrators they don't say a word to
  411. 22:06me but they'll say there's a safe room
  412. 22:09from people who are disturbed
  413. 22:13distressed by what David Horowitz has to
  414. 22:17say and then to show you now I'm far
  415. 22:20gone it's Scott a couple of weeks ago I
  416. 22:25was in Washington DC and I called up the
  417. 22:29Chronicle of Higher Education told them
  418. 22:31I was coming now
  419. 22:34fifteen years ago I since I was a
  420. 22:37leading I was probably the leading
  421. 22:39conservative critic of what was going on
  422. 22:42in the universities they the Chronicle
  423. 22:44actually allowed me to write a piece for
  424. 22:48them called in defense of intellectual
  425. 22:51diversity which is in this volume the
  426. 22:54left in the university so they invited
  427. 22:59me when they heard oh and I was treated
  428. 23:02to a I was featured in my profile on the
  429. 23:05front page of The Chronicle also because
  430. 23:07I was such a prominent critic so they
  431. 23:10invited me and I told them that I had a
  432. 23:13new book which I would like them to
  433. 23:16review but you know fix it I sent him a
  434. 23:18copy so they could look it over
  435. 23:21and they arranged the the editor Scott
  436. 23:25Smallwood who had treated me well fairly
  437. 23:28I don't know if it was well I don't
  438. 23:30remember exactly but family somewhat
  439. 23:32fairly fifteen years ago
  440. 23:37um he's the one who invited me he didn't
  441. 23:41show up for the meeting but they had ten
  442. 23:44editors and reporters you know shoot me
  443. 23:51questions for an hour and then they
  444. 23:53asked me if I would come you know to a
  445. 23:56room and videotape an interview for ten
  446. 23:59minutes that they were going to put up
  447. 24:00right away on their website when I left
  448. 24:05I got an email that they're not gonna
  449. 24:08put it up no explanation and there isn't
  450. 24:10a trace of my visit in The Chronicle of
  451. 24:14Higher Education now that is the no the
  452. 24:17intellectual journal well you can see
  453. 24:21it's it said there is no dialogue no
  454. 24:25dialogue left so what is the religion
  455. 24:28that they teach it's very important the
  456. 24:34religion is as you all already know is
  457. 24:37identity politics which is really
  458. 24:41cultural Marxism which I'll explain in a
  459. 24:43moment
  460. 24:44a Marxism it's a view of the world in
  461. 24:50which society is divided into warring
  462. 24:54classes remember the Communist Manifesto
  463. 24:57the history of all hitherto existing
  464. 25:00societies is the history of class
  465. 25:03struggles which is bunk but that's what
  466. 25:06Marxists believe well so what you have
  467. 25:11this there's two ideas here there are
  468. 25:14actually three the first is that
  469. 25:18people's class is the determinant factor
  470. 25:22and when the Bolsheviks came to power of
  471. 25:25course they set out to eliminate classes
  472. 25:30like the cool acts and by eliminating it
  473. 25:33was at the point of a gun which is what
  474. 25:36they did so you first of all you erase
  475. 25:40the individual our whole society is
  476. 25:43built on the idea of individual rights
  477. 25:45and individual accountability but if you
  478. 25:48are a Marxist view it's about classes
  479. 25:52this is classical Marxism it's Marxism I
  480. 25:55grew up with the second idea is that
  481. 25:59society is divided into oppressors and
  482. 26:02oppressed so there's the ruling class
  483. 26:05and then there was the working class and
  484. 26:08the third idea is that there's a civil
  485. 26:11war between these classes and it's a
  486. 26:13conflict that can only be resolved
  487. 26:15violently now if you think about it this
  488. 26:20this had a certain coherence this idea
  489. 26:22and the idea was of course that private
  490. 26:25property which creates the classes is
  491. 26:28responsible for all of the social
  492. 26:30problems Wars poverty and so forth
  493. 26:36so if you have a revolution the
  494. 26:39revolution was to take away the
  495. 26:41ownership of the means of production
  496. 26:43from the ruling class and put everybody
  497. 26:45in one class well there's a certain
  498. 26:48coherence for that idea because you wind
  499. 26:51up after you've eliminated the bed
  500. 26:54oppressor class um where everybody is
  501. 26:58isn't equal because nobody is an owner
  502. 27:01of property um this is a delusional idea
  503. 27:04and it led to the deaths of a hundred
  504. 27:08million people in the 20th century very
  505. 27:12destructive you you if you take away
  506. 27:15people's identity as individuals an
  507. 27:20individual merit I mean the American
  508. 27:22idea is so much Martin Luther King's
  509. 27:24idea that with judge people by the
  510. 27:26content of their character
  511. 27:29however cultural Marxism identity
  512. 27:33politics is a hundred times worse
  513. 27:36because it sees society is divided into
  514. 27:40races ethnicities genders and it has
  515. 27:44this ridiculous the way they they judge
  516. 27:48who's oppressed is whose marginal so I
  517. 27:52don't know if you dress yourself up in a
  518. 27:56dress and have a mustache and you know
  519. 28:00put rabbit ears on your head of course
  520. 28:06your marginal just look around you
  521. 28:11you're gonna be marginal now that
  522. 28:13doesn't mean you're oppressed it's just
  523. 28:15a fact
  524. 28:17Jews are marginal we've been marginal
  525. 28:20throughout history and persecuted for
  526. 28:23that matter but this is a very
  527. 28:28pernicious idea that society is divided
  528. 28:34into it an oppressor group based on race
  529. 28:40based or based on gender or based on
  530. 28:44sexual orientation an oppressor group
  531. 28:47and an oppressed group and then of
  532. 28:51course the ideology is one of war
  533. 28:59there's a phrase for it I've discussed
  534. 29:02this before but I it hasn't been picked
  535. 29:04up by people but it needs to be picked
  536. 29:06up by conservatives people of color now
  537. 29:12people of color is not a group it's not
  538. 29:19a group there's not an identity of
  539. 29:20interest just as the Rwandan you think
  540. 29:24the Tutsis and Hutus that a common
  541. 29:26interest you think that Pakistanis and
  542. 29:30and Indians have a common interest their
  543. 29:35war with each other and I the example
  544. 29:40I've given is of Mexico where you have
  545. 29:43two main ethnic groups the descendants
  546. 29:46of the conquistadors who slaughtered the
  547. 29:49indigenous Indians oppressors and the
  548. 29:52descendants of the indigenous survivors
  549. 29:55of the indigenous Indians II oppressed
  550. 29:57but when they cross the border into the
  551. 29:59United States they're both people of
  552. 30:01color
  553. 30:01therefore oppressed therefore you know
  554. 30:04marginal deserving special interest
  555. 30:07special allowances you don't look at
  556. 30:10what they actually do they break the law
  557. 30:13if they break the law no suggesting that
  558. 30:16well I'm Mexican I mean this is the left
  559. 30:18is so good at converting whatever you
  560. 30:20say into what you didn't say but it's
  561. 30:28it's to convert power on these so-called
  562. 30:31oppressed groups and deprive the
  563. 30:33oppressor goes well if you look at the
  564. 30:35world Maharaja's and India are people of
  565. 30:37color be headers in Syria Isis members
  566. 30:42they're people of color Idi Amin and
  567. 30:45Mugabe and these monsters in Africa
  568. 30:49dictators are people of color everybody
  569. 30:53in the world is people of color
  570. 30:55except the bad evil oppressors white
  571. 30:58people the biggest social problem we
  572. 31:01have in America is a rampant anti-white
  573. 31:04racism people talk now Democrats people
  574. 31:08that you would think had brains talk
  575. 31:11about America as
  576. 31:12white supremacist nation it's idiotic
  577. 31:15it's lunatic yeah there are some Ku Klux
  578. 31:19errs around there are some white
  579. 31:21supremacist what are they
  580. 31:24500 we're in Charlottesville out of a
  581. 31:27nation of 330 million the Ku Klux Klan
  582. 31:32once head up but they have 11 senators
  583. 31:36and 75 congressmen daily the white
  584. 31:39supremacists the actual white
  585. 31:42supremacists was a member of Congress
  586. 31:47there are some black supremacist in
  587. 31:49Congress I would tell you that but I'm
  588. 31:51not one white supremacist same thing
  589. 31:55with Nazis and neo-nazis those kids and
  590. 31:58our Hitler Youth is what they are
  591. 32:01literally what they were cheering is an
  592. 32:06organization that wants to exterminate
  593. 32:08the Jews and says so in so many words
  594. 32:11which I actually read up more statements
  595. 32:14from the mosque but you just have to
  596. 32:16read the mus charter to know that
  597. 32:18extermination of Jews is their agenda
  598. 32:23now I could go on and on about this but
  599. 32:28this is the greatest problem our country
  600. 32:30faces why are we so divided because
  601. 32:33everybody on the left everybody is a
  602. 32:35progressive is seeing everything in
  603. 32:37racial gender terms and and lying about
  604. 32:40it Hillary ran a campaign on the idea
  605. 32:44that the women are I somehow oppressed
  606. 32:46in this country by been to the extent
  607. 32:52that there's a gender wage gap so that
  608. 32:54women actually earn twenty four cents
  609. 32:58less on the dollar than men for the same
  610. 33:00work and the same experience in the same
  611. 33:03jobs it's a big lie and Hillary knows
  612. 33:08it's a lie because she was around when a
  613. 33:10male dominated Congress in 1963 people
  614. 33:15passed the equal pay for equal work Act
  615. 33:18making it illegal to pay women less than
  616. 33:21men and uh as I've said many times from
  617. 33:25platforms like this you can show in one
  618. 33:28sentence why it's a lie and that is if
  619. 33:31it were true employers would fire all
  620. 33:35their male employees hire women and
  621. 33:37increase their profits 20% it doesn't
  622. 33:41happen because it's a lie and yet
  623. 33:44there's no where's the media where are
  624. 33:47the referees where are the sensible
  625. 33:50people in our public life pointing this
  626. 33:54out they they don't exist and that's
  627. 33:57because of our corrupt corrupted educate
  628. 34:01destroyed educational system they were
  629. 34:04the the modern research university
  630. 34:06that's where and I got my model of what
  631. 34:10I wanted a university to look like from
  632. 34:12having guy I went to Columbia in the
  633. 34:141950s as a Marxist
  634. 34:17I was never harassed by my professors
  635. 34:20the way conservative kids are harassed
  636. 34:23these days I never knew the politics of
  637. 34:26my professors if if students in the
  638. 34:29class took one opinion they took the
  639. 34:31opposite to teach us how to think that
  640. 34:35was what a university should be it was
  641. 34:37it was one of the great achievements a
  642. 34:39mankind really the modern research
  643. 34:42university that the left has destroyed
  644. 34:45it doesn't exist it what was going on at
  645. 34:50schools like Harvard and Yale is
  646. 34:53disgraceful and you can say I mean it's
  647. 34:56all over YouTube you can see it so is
  648. 35:00there a solution well there's two ways
  649. 35:06of looking at that question sure you
  650. 35:12know my Bill of Rights was one attempt
  651. 35:15at a solution if if they just observe
  652. 35:19the universities the you know the
  653. 35:22principles that they preached everything
  654. 35:25would be fine but they don't they don't
  655. 35:27there is an a an administrator in this
  656. 35:31country who has reached out to my login
  657. 35:35Ann Coulter or myself or any of the
  658. 35:38conservative speakers and attempted to
  659. 35:41reverse this not what so here's my
  660. 35:45proposal and in doing the academic Bill
  661. 35:49of Rights I ask you'd any external
  662. 35:53forces being placed on the university we
  663. 35:56passed a few resolutions supporting the
  664. 36:00idea of those principles that should
  665. 36:02they should be fairness but no
  666. 36:04legislation and no wielding of political
  667. 36:07power but the left has convinced me that
  668. 36:14appeals to Reason our feudal my the
  669. 36:18campaign i waged failed so here's how i
  670. 36:21would fix it today there were 33 states
  671. 36:25where republicans control the state
  672. 36:29legislatures the Appropriations
  673. 36:34Committee both in both houses of the
  674. 36:39legislature in every one of these states
  675. 36:43controls the Lifeline the oxygen tubes
  676. 36:47for the presidents of these universities
  677. 36:51and the universities no University
  678. 36:54project in of course in public public
  679. 36:57institutions 85% of our students go to
  680. 37:00public universities all the chairman of
  681. 37:06the Appropriations Committee would have
  682. 37:08to do is to call the president the
  683. 37:11University and say you are constantly
  684. 37:15coming to me to fund to underwrite to
  685. 37:19make possible this for your university
  686. 37:22that for University and of course to
  687. 37:26advance your own careers because you are
  688. 37:28judged on what you can bring to the
  689. 37:30University so I have three things that I
  690. 37:35want from you and if I don't get them
  691. 37:38I'm not gonna answer your phone calls
  692. 37:40ever again the first I want you to
  693. 37:46provide me
  694. 37:47with a degree required reading lists for
  695. 37:51every one of your undergraduate courses
  696. 37:53in the liberal arts and then I'm going
  697. 37:56to submit that to a one of our
  698. 37:59conservative think tanks and they're
  699. 38:02going to look it over to see if there
  700. 38:05are is parity between the conservative
  701. 38:09books that you require and the
  702. 38:11conservative authors that you require
  703. 38:13students to read and and the leftist
  704. 38:16ones and of course there's no parity
  705. 38:19whatsoever because the conservative
  706. 38:21books barely exist and I know this
  707. 38:23because I did a book called one party as
  708. 38:26I mentioned one party classroom where I
  709. 38:28study the regime lists of our didn't
  710. 38:31seventy courses uh and I can tell you
  711. 38:34they are conservative book free and that
  712. 38:38doesn't even impose on the professor the
  713. 38:43responsibility not to ridicule the
  714. 38:46conservative ideas but to present them
  715. 38:48so the students can weigh them one of
  716. 38:50the group one of the complaints I had I
  717. 38:52spoke at the New England Western New
  718. 38:57England law school and the conservative
  719. 39:00students there with their complaint was
  720. 39:02that every time the name Antonin Scalia
  721. 39:04or just as our Clarence Thomas comes up
  722. 39:08they make jokes about them that you know
  723. 39:11that's a way of stopping people from
  724. 39:14weighing their ideas you ridicule is it
  725. 39:16very powerful powerful weapon and having
  726. 39:21submitted those lists to me I want you I
  727. 39:24give you a term to do this to see that
  728. 39:29all the required readings for
  729. 39:32undergraduates they're those lists
  730. 39:35there's parity between the required
  731. 39:37conservative and left-wing
  732. 39:40texts second thing I want you to do is
  733. 39:45to provide me with a list of all the
  734. 39:48speakers who are invited to your canna
  735. 39:50campus and often paid exorbitant fees if
  736. 39:55they're on the left my michael moore
  737. 39:58will get fifty
  738. 39:59thousand dollars from a state school
  739. 40:00during an election year to election year
  740. 40:04for the Democrat they ran a slacker
  741. 40:07store the Supreme Court has already said
  742. 40:10that that means Republicans have to get
  743. 40:13an exact amount of the same amount of
  744. 40:15money just to adhere to the Constitution
  745. 40:18of course that isn't happening or hasn't
  746. 40:20happened so I want a list of all the
  747. 40:24speaker's invited by your professors and
  748. 40:27by your student organizations and I want
  749. 40:30them to dead within the year I want
  750. 40:33absolute parity between Republicans and
  751. 40:36Democrats leftist and conservatives and
  752. 40:40the third thing I want is I want you I I
  753. 40:45will again I will have a committee look
  754. 40:47over your faculties and I want you to
  755. 40:50begin an affirmative action program to
  756. 40:55to diversify your faculties you have a
  757. 40:59law faculty and I could throw a dart at
  758. 41:03a board with universities named on it
  759. 41:06and it didn't matter which one I hit you
  760. 41:09have a law faculty with fifty or a
  761. 41:12hundred law professors and maximum two
  762. 41:19or three are Republicans or
  763. 41:22conservatives you can't tell me that
  764. 41:24Republicans aren't lawyers so I want you
  765. 41:27to begin a program to divert and I want
  766. 41:31a progress report every semester to see
  767. 41:35your progress on it and then I will take
  768. 41:37your phone calls for your projects now
  769. 41:41will that happen there's only one
  770. 41:45Republican well actually there are two
  771. 41:48that I know who would do that one of
  772. 41:52them is present in the United States
  773. 41:54and the other one is Steve Bennett when
  774. 41:57I see other Republicans with some spine
  775. 42:00I'll think maybe something like this
  776. 42:04could happen
  777. 42:06III want to close with the
  778. 42:10and going back to the University of
  779. 42:12Houston this was a national conference
  780. 42:15students for justice in Palestine was
  781. 42:17created by the terrorist organization
  782. 42:19Hamas its founder hot em Bosnian is an
  783. 42:23agent of Hamas hot them Bosnian is the
  784. 42:27chairman of the board of American
  785. 42:30Muslims from Palestine which provides
  786. 42:32over $100,000 a year for students for
  787. 42:36justice in Palestine
  788. 42:38um and which is a mass operation Hostin
  789. 42:42bot see and by the way is a faculty
  790. 42:44member at the University of Berkeley
  791. 42:46University of California Berkeley um and
  792. 42:49of course he's the head of the a slow
  793. 42:51Islamophobia Studies program which is
  794. 42:54the program to defame and libel and
  795. 42:59slander people like me and try to get
  796. 43:01people not to listen to us and the
  797. 43:07entire agenda of students for justice in
  798. 43:11Palestine is to spread genocide lies
  799. 43:15about the State of Israel State of
  800. 43:18Israel doesn't occupy an inch not an
  801. 43:20inch of Arab land the land on which
  802. 43:24Israel was created belong to the Turks
  803. 43:27for four hundred years prior the Turks
  804. 43:29are not Arabs nor are they Palestinians
  805. 43:32Pat who never was a country called
  806. 43:35Palestine it's a geographical term that
  807. 43:38the Romans imposed on the Jewish
  808. 43:41homeland the Jews are the only
  809. 43:43indigenous people of the land around the
  810. 43:49Jordan because the Mandara vation is
  811. 43:54Philistine who are the enemies of the
  812. 43:56Jews Palestine is a geographical area
  813. 44:01it's like New England New Englanders
  814. 44:04they didn't exist the Palestinian
  815. 44:06nationality or claim to a nationality
  816. 44:10until 1964 sixteen years after the
  817. 44:14creation of the State of Israel then you
  818. 44:15can have all kind of kritis
  819. 44:17the Israeli government as you can of any
  820. 44:19government but you can't be spreading
  821. 44:22genocide allies that come right out of
  822. 44:25the Hamas playbook printing on your
  823. 44:30calling Israel an apartheid state it's
  824. 44:32the only state in the Middle East that
  825. 44:34isn't apartheid and putting naps created
  826. 44:39by Hamas which show a country called
  827. 44:42Palestine existing in 1947 no such
  828. 44:45country ever existed and then invaded by
  829. 44:49Jews these are Nazis there are Nazis on
  830. 44:52our campuses these kids are Hitler Youth
  831. 44:55and they are supported by every
  832. 44:59University administration including the
  833. 45:01University of Chicago which has been
  834. 45:04people that praise it because they you
  835. 45:07can't believe a word that comes out of a
  836. 45:10university administrators mouth these
  837. 45:12days because it's the universities that
  838. 45:16tear down the posters that we put up
  839. 45:18pointing this out it's the universities
  840. 45:21that provide offices for these Hitler
  841. 45:25Youth students for justice in Palestine
  842. 45:27and and they have the whole left and toe
  843. 45:29with them the Muslim Students
  844. 45:31Association which like SJP is a Muslim
  845. 45:35Brotherhood creation but the political
  846. 45:38left which is a totalitarian Pro
  847. 45:40terrorists left these days all of them
  848. 45:44are in tow to do everything that they
  849. 45:47can to undermine the Jewish state and
  850. 45:51make them vulnerable to the genocide all
  851. 45:55intentions with whatever it is 30000
  852. 45:58rockets from Hezbollah and Hamas and
  853. 46:01Iran I aimed at the Jewish state this is
  854. 46:06a it's a it's a other disgrace and the
  855. 46:10silence around it which is a silence
  856. 46:12also by Jewish organizations that are
  857. 46:15don't want to upset the Muslims then
  858. 46:19it's just amazing every time there's an
  859. 46:22atrocity committed by Isis all of the
  860. 46:25Liberals in this country
  861. 46:26so-called rally around the Muslims as
  862. 46:30though somebody is persecuting Muslims
  863. 46:33there is this something like I forget
  864. 46:36the exact number but it's five or seven
  865. 46:38times the number of hate crimes against
  866. 46:40Jews in this country as against Muslims
  867. 46:47so just to close this I also I have a
  868. 46:53proper forum proposal at the end of this
  869. 46:55book but it would take administrators
  870. 46:57with some integrity to carry it out
  871. 47:00which I don't have any faith in anymore
  872. 47:03um I just think that our country is in
  873. 47:10grave danger because of this it goes
  874. 47:15then they have corrupted the k-12 system
  875. 47:17as well
  876. 47:18stood kids are being indoctrinated from
  877. 47:20kindergarten they have no respect for
  878. 47:23youth no respect for innocence they're
  879. 47:27on a mission that from their God which
  880. 47:29is history what they think is history
  881. 47:32they're on the right side of it that's
  882. 47:33not what's moving in any direction
  883. 47:36that's why they're so shell-shocked
  884. 47:39they thought it was moving in their
  885. 47:40direction suddenly it isn't if Trump
  886. 47:44hadn't come in and demolished Isis
  887. 47:46something ro bhama didn't even try to do
  888. 47:49for eight years who knows what the
  889. 47:54future would be we could be back in the
  890. 47:56dark ages however it's a battle that I
  891. 48:03hope that you will get involved in we we
  892. 48:07have websites that deal with this we
  893. 48:10have campus campaigns and I hope that
  894. 48:14more people on the right join us and not
  895. 48:17just on the right oh yeah I mean Hillel
  896. 48:21is is an organization that's gone now
  897. 48:23because it's been taken over by the left
  898. 48:26but there are some brave members of
  899. 48:29Hillel - I'm waiting for them to come
  900. 48:32out of the woodwork and
  901. 48:35expose this terrorist network on our
  902. 48:37campuses and this is just one piece of a
  903. 48:41gigantic problem that's been caused over
  904. 48:44a 50-year period by the assault on the
  905. 48:48left on our universities and their
  906. 48:50conversion into cultural Marxist
  907. 48:52religious institutions thank you David
  908. 49:16thank you so much um I I fear we're
  909. 49:20having a problem with a certain
  910. 49:23viewpoint you myself many people in this
  911. 49:27room started off as socialists
  912. 49:29communists we were starting from a base
  913. 49:31of attempting to be good decent moral
  914. 49:34ethical people and we were misdirected
  915. 49:37and once we learned about the body
  916. 49:38counts of how many people were murdered
  917. 49:40for this utopia we started rethinking I
  918. 49:43I fear that's what's going on in the
  919. 49:45university is exactly what the
  920. 49:48government wants to be doing you were
  921. 49:49talking about government funding if
  922. 49:51you're trying to create a society of
  923. 49:54Rhian slaving humanity of tyranny of
  924. 49:58undermining constitutions and democracy
  925. 50:00they're doing exactly what they want
  926. 50:03them to do and it seems like the only
  927. 50:05alternative is first to just call them
  928. 50:07out on for employers don't hire people
  929. 50:10from people like you Berkeley and Yale
  930. 50:13and Harvard look it's very sinister what
  931. 50:17the left is done oh because you can't do
  932. 50:19that they've inserted themselves into it
  933. 50:22I mean there are still the university is
  934. 50:25a gigantic institution and and there are
  935. 50:30marvelous parts of it untouched well not
  936. 50:33not entirely untouched because you in
  937. 50:37the medical schools and in science
  938. 50:39schools there's a leftist campaign you
  939. 50:44know
  940. 50:45to intimidate people into a day you know
  941. 50:48adopting all of the myths of identity
  942. 50:50politics so there's a political war
  943. 50:52going on for the students minds but the
  944. 50:55fact of the matter is that a university
  945. 50:58like Berkeley or the University of
  946. 51:00Houston a lot of it does really
  947. 51:02marvelous things in medicine you know in
  948. 51:06physics and astrophysics and various
  949. 51:10technical fields so you can't tell
  950. 51:13people don't send your kids to Harvard
  951. 51:16or Yale they have to get it look it's
  952. 51:18always it's a political battle
  953. 51:21conservatives don't like politics I mean
  954. 51:23this is a huge handicap for
  955. 51:26conservatives when I first came into the
  956. 51:29write and look around I said you know
  957. 51:32where's the ground army
  958. 51:35there is none conservatives politics is
  959. 51:39a dirty business that we engage in every
  960. 51:4118 months you know outside the 18 months
  961. 51:46unless we're you know trying to get some
  962. 51:48favors for our companies or something
  963. 51:50like that
  964. 51:51outside the 18 months we go back to
  965. 51:54normal life which is creative we're
  966. 51:57creating jobs we're creating products
  967. 52:01we're making people's lives better
  968. 52:03that's what conservatives do whereas
  969. 52:05leftist are at war all the time right
  970. 52:09then and as much as we're the creators
  971. 52:11that we created these universities we
  972. 52:13can recreate new universities the hills
  973. 52:16cells the Prager University is the
  974. 52:18online universities there's a it isn't
  975. 52:20as if everything is it's available now
  976. 52:22well look I I don't know very much about
  977. 52:25clothes Dale although I've done
  978. 52:29fundraisers with him but I've never been
  979. 52:32to Hillsdale because I think because
  980. 52:35their president is a very traditional
  981. 52:37conservative who doesn't approve of my
  982. 52:40confrontational politics but the fact of
  983. 52:45the matter is these are tiny come there
  984. 52:49we're not talking about it Harvard and
  985. 52:53Yale these yeah
  986. 52:54whether they're endowments for 500
  987. 52:57billion dollars and by the way one of
  988. 53:01the great things that Trump is doing and
  989. 53:03I actually know the guy who proposed
  990. 53:06this as part of this tax bill is an
  991. 53:10endowment tax on private universities
  992. 53:13like Harvard and and Yale so a 10%
  993. 53:18endowment tax would pay for all those
  994. 53:20student loans wouldn't it right but I'm
  995. 53:23just trying to think in a different way
  996. 53:24in as much as we never had an internet
  997. 53:27we didn't have immediate information
  998. 53:28instantaneous that you know we used to
  999. 53:30buy encyclopedias we we don't need
1000. 53:33encyclopedias now we have it all and
1001. 53:35maybe we just have reorganized look I
1002. 53:38agree that the Internet has greatly
1003. 53:41greatly increased the power of
  1004. 53:44conservatives it's broken the monopoly
1005. 53:47the information monopolies the left used
1006. 53:49to have a lot of things are happening
1007. 53:54the Trump movement is the biggest
1008. 53:57grassroots the first time well it's the
1009. 53:59second time when the Tea Party appeared
1010. 54:02I said ah finally at last a ground army
1011. 54:05is forming now it's much much bigger so
  1012. 54:08there's hope in that
1013. 54:09but let's not underestimate the odds but
1014. 54:12let's be sober about that hello mr.
1015. 54:16Horowitz I think the hardest thing for
1016. 54:19conservatives is how to understand the
1017. 54:22liberal mind the logic I like logical
  1018. 54:27right I read I know it I know that
  1019. 54:29Dennis Prager and you have said it's a
1020. 54:31religion and it doesn't require any you
  1021. 54:33know it's a faith-based type of thing
1022. 54:35and I read Evans IX book on the liberal
1023. 54:39mind which went helped explain some of
1024. 54:41it but children and students are
  1025. 54:45impressionable they don't have their
  1026. 54:48minds aren't fully formed but they're
1027. 54:51professors and the leaders of the
1028. 54:53movement the progressive movement are
1029. 54:55adults and I want to ask you since you
1030. 54:59were in that you had that perspective as
1031. 55:02a young man what how do they envision
  1032. 55:05utopia what are they
  1033. 55:07they don't use my idea I mean I've
1034. 55:10written so much about this the second
1035. 55:12volume in this series the black book
  1036. 55:13series it's called progressives it's in
1037. 55:17there the difference is this
1038. 55:20conservatives form their views of the
1039. 55:23world by looking at the past which is
1040. 55:26the record of what human beings are
1041. 55:28capable of both good and bad and if you
1042. 55:33you know read about the founding of this
  1043. 55:35country that's what they did they
1044. 55:37studied societies and they thought
1045. 55:39democracy was a really bad system but it
1046. 55:42was better than the others and on
  1047. 55:46practical grounds leftist don't look at
1048. 55:48the real world that way they're always
1049. 55:50looking at an imaginary future it used
  1050. 55:53to be called communism and it's
  1051. 55:55socialism now it's social justice all
1052. 55:58the same thing all ultimately the same
1053. 56:02thing all headed in the same direction
1054. 56:03to treat people as collectives to erase
1055. 56:08their individuality to judge them either
1056. 56:11on their class position or on their race
1057. 56:14or gender or sexual orientation and
1058. 56:18always to see it in terms of oppressors
1059. 56:21and oppressed and that is what they're
1060. 56:26thinking if you want to call it thinking
1061. 56:28and for them it's tremendous they think
1062. 56:31of themselves social justice warriors we
1063. 56:34even use their language to describe them
  1064. 56:37they're heroic they're living in a
  1065. 56:40fantasy a romantic fantasy in which
1066. 56:43they're saving the world if you think of
1067. 56:46you're saving the world you're not gonna
  1068. 56:48give that up I mean you're not thinking
  1069. 56:50logically I mean I you know I watch the
  1070. 56:54television like everybody I'm thinking
1071. 56:57uh you know if people get run over by a
1072. 57:00terrorist truck about gun control that
  1073. 57:03was that doesn't make any sense
1074. 57:06whatsoever how can you even begin with a
1075. 57:09straight face to do things like that and
  1076. 57:13it's because it's because the
1077. 57:17elimination of guns which is what their
  1078. 57:19agenda is
1079. 57:20is part of creating this world where we
1080. 57:22all get along people don't get along
  1081. 57:25they haven't gotten along since Cain
1082. 57:28killed Abel for crying out tears well
1083. 57:31that's what I want to ask you is that do
1084. 57:34they just discount history I mean look
1085. 57:36at not yeah it was totalitarian they
  1086. 57:39they think they're smarter than
  1087. 57:42everybody else
1088. 57:43and everybody who existed before them
1089. 57:45look the Bolsheviks Lenin Trotsky these
1090. 57:49were very very smart people Michael
1091. 57:53Moore you know he doesn't come up to
1092. 57:58them but we can look back and see that
1093. 58:01those that Lenin at the time that was
1094. 58:04the first time that now we've had these
1095. 58:06two don't they how did the left react to
1096. 58:13the collapse of the Soviet Union the
  1097. 58:15deaths of 40 million people the
1098. 58:18starvation the gulag how they reacted
  1099. 58:22with a oh that wasn't real socialism
1100. 58:25we're smarter than Lenin than
1101. 58:28preobrazhensky then Lukacs go on and on
  1102. 58:34that's the way people think they're
  1103. 58:36arrogant and they're stupid what more
1104. 58:39can you say and there's so much
  1105. 58:41emotional satisfaction it's a religion
1106. 58:45it's a consolation for the all the
  1107. 58:48disappointments of life that's what it
1108. 58:51is and you need to take that away from
1109. 58:53them with cause I mean I described in my
1110. 58:56book radical son the personal crisis I
  1111. 58:58went through when I realized that
  1112. 59:00Marxism
1113. 59:01is a load of crap it was everything to
1114. 59:06me it made everything I did important
1115. 59:08and that's the way it is for every
1116. 59:10leftist and you can see by the way in
1117. 59:15their contempt their utter contempt for
1118. 59:18people who disagree with them their
1119. 59:20arrogance the lack of respect
1120. 59:23it just it's astounding you see it every
1121. 59:27day on television you see idiots like
  1122. 59:29Joanne
  1123. 59:31or lawrence O'Donnell pathological liar
1124. 59:34in the case of O'Donnell but just
1125. 59:37in the case of joy and read why is she a
  1126. 59:40because she can't there's no
  1127. 59:43empathy there there's no respect for
1128. 59:46people who disagree with her yes sir
1129. 59:51thank you David for what you are
  1130. 59:53accomplishing I would like to make a
  1131. 59:56point
1132. 59:57you had mentioned very very briefly in
  1133. 59:59passing the problem of K through 12 I
1134. 1:00:03would like to bring to your attention if
1135. 1:00:05you're not aware of this for example my
1136. 1:00:08wife is a teacher at LAUSD the second
1137. 1:00:11largest public the second largest public
1138. 1:00:15school district in the United States
1139. 1:00:17second only to New York and she recently
1140. 1:00:20showed me some literature from a course
1141. 1:00:24that the teachers are not being exposed
1142. 1:00:26to in terms of training these students
  1143. 1:00:30of LAUSD
1144. 1:00:31in the importance of understanding the
1145. 1:00:34Muslim faith the five pillars of the
1146. 1:00:37Muslim faith their prayers what they
1147. 1:00:41signify when they prostrate themselves
1148. 1:00:44what that signifies they go into great
1149. 1:00:46detail about this any other religion it
1150. 1:00:49to be totally banned correct that's the
  1151. 1:00:52problem not that they're not that
1152. 1:00:54they're teaching what Muslims believe
1153. 1:00:57but they the fact that Christians Jews
1154. 1:01:03probably atheists are excluded why
1155. 1:01:07because their oppressors of Muslims
1156. 1:01:09there's a political agenda in the Adina
  1157. 1:01:13school district in Minnesota Tim a
  1158. 1:01:16suburb of it's a wealthy suburb of
  1159. 1:01:18Minneapolis that giving first graders a
1160. 1:01:20book you know a kids book with big
1161. 1:01:23pictures big a on the front of it a is
  1162. 1:01:26for activists
1163. 1:01:28X is for Malcolm X and on and on now I
  1164. 1:01:34forget the other thing but it's a
  1165. 1:01:35complete leftist agenda I have a website
  1166. 1:01:39called stop k12 indoctrination
  1167. 1:01:43on that website there's a code of ethics
  1168. 1:01:46for k-12 teachers which if you don't
1169. 1:01:50observe you lose your light you get
1170. 1:01:53suspended and then if you persist you
1171. 1:01:56lose your license that would stop all
1172. 1:01:57this but it requires a political City
  1173. 1:02:04Council
1174. 1:02:05whoever oversees the school district
1175. 1:02:10with integrity they have to have
1176. 1:02:13integrity and they have to have enormous
  1177. 1:02:18guts mr. Horowitz I've seen a lot of
1178. 1:02:25your videos on YouTube before and I've
1179. 1:02:27wanted to ask you this question for a
1180. 1:02:29while cuz my grandmother actually had to
1181. 1:02:31live in Nazi Germany the National
  1182. 1:02:35Socialists in Germany frequently
1183. 1:02:36portrayed the Jews as being greedy rich
1184. 1:02:39capitalists who only got rich because
1185. 1:02:42they stole everything from everybody
  1186. 1:02:44else
1187. 1:02:44they according to Hitler basically
1188. 1:02:47cheated to get to the top the concept of
1189. 1:02:50white privilege which is what many
  1190. 1:02:52liberals
1191. 1:02:53talk about today where they accuse white
1192. 1:02:57Christians like myself from basically
1193. 1:02:59stealing from everybody else do you feel
1194. 1:03:02that the national socialist rhetoric of
1195. 1:03:05the Jews influenced many liberals today
1196. 1:03:08to come up with their rhetoric of white
  1197. 1:03:10privilege I don't think it was direct I
1198. 1:03:13think but I you know maybe make myself
1199. 1:03:16clear there collectivists the National
1200. 1:03:19Socialists were socialists and they had
1201. 1:03:23you know they pick and the out-group the
1202. 1:03:26group that's the source of the problems
1203. 1:03:27and the Liberals in America who are not
  1204. 1:03:31liberal they're bigots most intolerant
1205. 1:03:34people in America are people who call
  1206. 1:03:37themselves liberals they have picked a
1207. 1:03:40group to scapegoat which is white people
1208. 1:03:44it's quite amazing the NACD is now wants
1209. 1:03:51to ban the National Anthem is the most
  1210. 1:03:52racist anthem ever
  1211. 1:03:55these people I mean they're it's nuts
1212. 1:03:58but not if you're inside the religion
1213. 1:04:02not if you're inside the religion if
1214. 1:04:04you're inside the religion black people
1215. 1:04:06can't be racist scan it because they
  1216. 1:04:09have no power
1217. 1:04:10well don't want to Barack Obama and the
  1218. 1:04:11to corrupt Attorney General's we had
  1219. 1:04:14during his administration you know it's
1220. 1:04:19amazing to me every time there was a an
1221. 1:04:23officer was killed by individuals
1222. 1:04:28incited by black lives matter who would
1223. 1:04:32appear at the microphone as the police
1224. 1:04:34chief in whether is Dallas or New
  1225. 1:04:37Orleans or Cleveland it's always a black
1226. 1:04:40cop this kindness we are the most
1227. 1:04:43tolerant inclusive society in the
1228. 1:04:46history of the world of any size I mean
1229. 1:04:49of course if you have only five black
1230. 1:04:52people and everybody else is white like
  1231. 1:04:54in Switzerland or something it's not a
1232. 1:04:57big problem but we have large minority
1233. 1:05:00populations and we we have people who
1234. 1:05:05are the age of most of the people in
1235. 1:05:07this audience can remember the
1236. 1:05:10difference thirty or forty or fifty
1237. 1:05:12years ago the thing that really strikes
1238. 1:05:17it when one of the most pampered or the
1239. 1:05:20most pampered racists in America is
1240. 1:05:22tonic easy coats is the darling of the
  1241. 1:05:25Atlantic and every liberal so-called
  1242. 1:05:29organization and he has a pathological
1243. 1:05:32hatred for America and for white people
1244. 1:05:35if you read is anything that is really
1245. 1:05:37anything that is written man you know
1246. 1:05:43when I see these issues discuss publicly
1247. 1:05:47what's missing is a simple statement you
1248. 1:05:53know in America the constant Tim Kaine
1249. 1:05:55the other day I mean who say communists
1250. 1:05:58Tim Kaine was a Christic well you know
1251. 1:06:02that Chris --tx were I mean these were
  1252. 1:06:04communist supporting that
  1253. 1:06:07in eastern Salvadorian communist
  1254. 1:06:10guerrillas in the 80s that's what Tim
1255. 1:06:12Kaine is the attack general Kelly the
1256. 1:06:16other day and his ideas that the
1257. 1:06:19Constitution enshrined as he put it
1258. 1:06:23slavery actually the American Founding
  1259. 1:06:27that slavery existed for 3,000 years
1260. 1:06:29before anybody said it was immoral not
  1261. 1:06:32Jesus not Moses
1262. 1:06:34nobody certainly not Muhammad the
1263. 1:06:37Muslims are still practicing slavery and
1264. 1:06:39I still think it's ok but white
1265. 1:06:44Christians and led by Wilberforce in
1266. 1:06:47England and by Thomas Jefferson here
1267. 1:06:49Thomas Jefferson wrote into our birth
1268. 1:06:51certificate that were all creatures of
1269. 1:06:54God whatever you think of other people
1270. 1:06:56can be inferior to you or not they're
1271. 1:06:59creatures of one creator therefore equal
1272. 1:07:04in his or I have to say these days her
1273. 1:07:07eyes whatever and they have right to
1274. 1:07:13Liberty every black in America Oh does
1275. 1:07:19their freedom to Thomas Jefferson the
  1276. 1:07:22American Founding the 350000 Union
1277. 1:07:26soldiers who gave their lives to free
1278. 1:07:28them and have President Abraham Lincoln
1279. 1:07:31who gave his life as well and when I
  1280. 1:07:34hear that and I know I'm in a
1281. 1:07:36conversation with rational people and
  1282. 1:07:38not religious fanatics but I I don't I
1283. 1:07:41don't you know I watch quite a bit of
  1284. 1:07:43television although it's very hard these
  1285. 1:07:45days I don't see that simple fact
1286. 1:07:49recognized it's okay to be white that
  1287. 1:07:53are you familiar that that's some
  1288. 1:07:56brilliant I'm not good at this I'm a
1289. 1:07:58kind of a sledgehammer but um the Milo
1290. 1:08:01gianopolous the trolls this I think was
  1291. 1:08:05channel 4 which is a troll channel
1292. 1:08:07conservative trolls put up it's okay to
1293. 1:08:12be white and it drove the left up the
  1294. 1:08:15wall why
1295. 1:08:17they're racist and what you know when I
  1296. 1:08:22see a conservative on television say
  1297. 1:08:25you're a racist to a Democrat then I'll
1298. 1:08:28know we're on the road to freedom thank
  1299. 1:08:32you
