- 0:00Did you ever uh I was I was telling you
- 0:02a little bit about this, but before the
- 0:04internet was everywhere, when morning
- 0:06radio shows were still really big,
- 0:08I don't know what the exact show was,
- 0:09but Bret Hart used to call into a
- 0:11Calgary morning radio show,
- 0:13and they would prank phone call Ric
- 0:15Flair.
- 0:15>> Oh my gosh.
- 0:16>> And there's one where they prank phone
- 0:17call Ric Flair, and they clearly know
- 0:19that Ric's either been partying or out
- 0:21partying or whatever, but they call him
- 0:22and they go,
- 0:23and it's Bret, and it's just Bret
- 0:25talking to him. He's like, "Ric, you
- 0:26know, I'm just telling the guys about
- 0:28how I I did so much more business than
- 0:30you or whatever." And Ric Flair gets so
- 0:32wound up. For years, this was something
- 0:34we used to yell in our apartment. Where
- 0:36he goes, "I sold tickets. You sold
- 0:40sunglasses." And that was like one of
- 0:42the funniest things cuz he just keeps
- 0:44yelling it.
- 0:45>> Yeah.
- 0:45>> He keeps cuz they're trying to like get
- 0:47him angry and he's like, "I sold
- 0:49tickets. You sold sunglasses." It's one
- 0:52of the hardest. Man, I used to hit
- 0:54>> That's [ __ ] great.
- 0:55>> Yeah, cuz you could tell they caught Ric
- 0:56at a very bad time.
- 0:58>> I love that he comes out with legit
- 1:00promo [ __ ] while he's getting prank
- 1:02called.
- 1:04>> He's just cutting a promo.
- 1:06>> Yeah.
- 1:07>> Yeah. I want the tonight show. And the
- 1:10and the
- 1:10we're in the Calgary morning zoo. We're
- 1:13giving away tickets to Jim Neidhart.
- 1:16>> He's just out of his mind.
- 1:19>> Caller number 10.
- 1:20>> Ric Flair is
- 1:22>> He wears stupid hats. I wouldn't wear a
- 1:24hat like that if you paid me.
- 1:27>> I would have loved to have gotten Dusty
- 1:29like you know, after they work and he's
- 1:31just like, "He's a lot, baby. He's a
- 1:33lot." Like co-worker energy?
- 1:35>> Yeah.
- 1:36>> He goes, "I don't know. I'm going on the
- 1:37road with Ric. It's going to be
- 1:39it's going to be a long week."

- 1:54Ric.
