- 0:00All right, so let's do a daily outlook
- 0:02for May 18th, 2026 on Nasdaq. So we came
- 0:07into discount overnight of the higher
- 0:10time frame range. We were able to hold
- 0:12discount and stay above the 29,000 area
- 0:14or find a little bit of support here and
- 0:16be able to push our way up. Now where we
- 0:18are currently at in terms of gamma is
- 0:20we're sitting right around the
- 0:22transitional area. So right below HVL.
- 0:25Higher time frame in general is still
- 0:27bullish and we are watching us find a
- 0:30bit of support here heading into New
- 0:32York open. Now the most key decision
- 0:34area for me today is going to be the
- 0:37HVL. Now the HVL is sitting at 29,270.
- 0:42Early on in the session, this is the
- 0:43most important level. If the buyers can
- 0:45push above and hold and break above the
- 0:48HVL and start entering our positive
- 0:50gamma territory, then the first real
- 0:52upside target becomes the call wall as
- 0:55well as Friday's New York session highs.
- 0:57In the event that we even break the call
- 0:59wall, then I will be expecting us to
- 1:01potentially have a delayed or slower
- 1:03grind up towards where the net call open
- 1:05interest, call open interest, and
- 1:07absolute open interest is actually
- 1:08sitting. But for now, our eyes are set
- 1:11on the HVL. In the event that we do get
- 1:13above the HVL, I will be looking for a
- 1:15continuation higher towards Friday's New
- 1:17York session highs as well as where the
- 1:19call wall is currently sitting.
- 1:21If buyers fail to get above the HVL and
- 1:24fail to reclaim this level and we begin
- 1:26to rotate lower, then it is likely that
- 1:28we continue a downside rotation towards
- 1:32potentially P2 or even the put wall
- 1:35sitting here at 28,860.
- 1:37The game plan for this morning is
- 1:39actually pretty simple. We're really
- 1:41just going to be watching how the
- 1:42auction resolves around the HVL this
- 1:45morning. And we're going to be looking
- 1:46to see whether we're going to continue
- 1:48back up and continue the higher time
- 1:50frame trend being bullish heading our
- 1:52way back towards call wall or if we're
- 1:54going going for a further drop lower
- 1:57down in this negative gamma territory.
- 1:59It's a very clean decision day today.
- 2:00We're going to be watching HVL. We're
- 2:02going to see how the auction actually
- 2:03plays out and we'll see how it goes.
- 2:05Now, let's take a quick break to tell
- 2:07you about the sponsor of this video,
- 2:09Prop Firm Match. Prop Firm Match has
- 2:11built-in comparison tools so you can
- 2:12compare prop firms against each other or
- 2:14even challenges against each other and
- 2:16you have all the rules clearly laid out.
- 2:18You can even see which firms are
- 2:20actually being used by traders just like
- 2:22yourself by reading some of the reviews
- 2:24so you know exactly what you're spending
- 2:26your money on before you buy anything.
- 2:28It makes it really easy because you have
- 2:30everything now all in the same place and
- 2:32if you want to use Prop Firm Match, you
- 2:33can check the link in the description or
- 2:35in the pinned comment and to make sure
- 2:37that you're getting the best deal on any
- 2:39of these firms, make sure you check out
- 2:40their exclusive offers and use code
- 2:43match. Now, let's get back into the
- 2:45video. Right now, we're retesting the
- 2:47HVL. I think
- 2:49we're seeing buyers try and reclaim the
- 2:51HVL, but they're failing. I'm going to
- 2:52go short right here.
- 2:56We're seeing a large trade come in. We
- 2:58have to hold this. We're approaching the
- 3:00put wall right now. This is current put
- 3:03wall sitting right here. So, we're
- 3:04looking at put wall being right here.
- 3:07It's bouncing back and forth, but
- 3:08there's a very large negative gamma node
- 3:10right here. So, if we can push down past
- 3:13this big trade, I'm going to be trailing
- 3:15my stop right below it.
- 3:18So, now we're currently approaching the
- 3:20put wall. If we can begin to push lower
- 3:23through these orders, just like that, I
- 3:26am going to have to trail my stop.
- 3:28Stop's going to be going right above the
- 3:30POC of this candle. We're looking for it
- 3:32to continue down.
- 3:37So, if we could break through this and
- 3:38break lower right now, I am going to be
- 3:41adding in and trailing a stop.
- 3:44I don't want us to pop back up. I'm
- 3:45trailing my stop right above these large
- 3:47sellers.
- 3:53As long as we hold below this, we should
- 3:56There we go. Very large seller. We need
- 3:59us to continue though. We can't have us
- 4:02re- reject these orders like this.
- 4:06All right, so we hit trailing stop. We
- 4:08couldn't get past this area. We got a
- 4:10lot of selling pressure step in. So,
- 4:12right now I'm currently watching this
- 4:14area right here. This is where the put
- 4:17wall used to be today before ended up
- 4:19moving back down here again. There's a
- 4:21lot of negative gamma here as well as
- 4:23some volume. So, we're going to be
- 4:25watching to see if sellers want to
- 4:26defend their position. If we begin to
- 4:28see buyers start getting absorbed and we
- 4:30begin to rotate over, I am going to go
- 4:32short again. I'm going to go short right
- 4:34here. Stop loss is going to be right
- 4:36above these highs.
- 4:38And we got to be careful about this
- 4:39area. We're having sellers come in. We
- 4:42had buyers failed to push back up. We
- 4:44just need follow-through from the
- 4:46sellers.
- 4:49If this order gets rejected, it is a
- 4:51pretty good sign for us to start moving
- 4:53lower. I'm going to have to trail stop a
- 4:55little bit.
- 5:01We had a massive amount of buyers step
- 5:02in here. They tried to step in here
- 5:04again. They failed, which is a good sign
- 5:06for this trade, but I do have to
- 5:08understand that they are present in this
- 5:10area. So,
- 5:11we're going to trail stop.
- 5:16We're trailing stop as we're moving
- 5:18down. There is a chance we bounce back
- 5:19up hard here. So, I'm moving the stop as
- 5:22we go.
- 5:24This is the most important area that we
- 5:25need to break right now, that sellers
- 5:27need to really push through hard.
- 5:29I'm going to trail stop even tighter.
- 5:31All right. We ended up getting out of
- 5:33that for 50 points. I don't want to see
- 5:35us bounce out of this area. We had
- 5:36buyers step in here once. We may
- 5:38continue down further, but
- 5:41I don't want to risk it right now.
- 5:42Volatility is very large. We can easily
- 5:44just start snapping back and forth in
- 5:46this area. Now, it may still work out
- 5:48and we may make our way all the way down
- 5:50here to P1, but this area right here is
- 5:54order flow-wise, we had buyers step in
- 5:56here, sellers got absorbed in this area.
- 5:58So, if it happened once, it could
- 5:59potentially happen again. So, I need to
- 6:01trail stop pretty tightly and I'm happy
- 6:03we did because we could see this moving
- 6:05back up relatively quickly. So, at this
- 6:07point, we took two trades, that's two
- 6:10wins. We're going to wait a moment and
- 6:12we're going to see if there's anything
- 6:13else we can take. So, the first trade
- 6:16was for about 50 points, I believe. The
- 6:17second trade was also for 50 points. So,
- 6:20puts us up about 100 points on the day.
- 6:22We're trading a live account, so we're
- 6:23using smaller size, but this is great
- 6:25volatility. There's a lot of opportunity
- 6:27here and we are in negative gamma
- 6:28territory, so there could potentially be
- 6:31more moves. I mean, we're seeing good
- 6:32volume right now, even this late in the
- 6:34day, which is pretty interesting. So, I
- 6:37am still watching this area, though.
- 6:39If we see buyers attempt to push up here
- 6:41again, we may
- 6:44and they fail, we may be forming a
- 6:45range, which this is a large enough
- 6:47range that we can actually play this.
- 6:49It's over 100 points.
- 6:51So, if we get a slight overextension and
- 6:53buyer failure, then we can try and take
- 6:54another short.
- 6:56All right, so what we're looking for is
- 6:58about 130. We're looking for us to come
- 7:00up to about 130 right now.
- 7:03All right, so if we begin to see buyers
- 7:06get absorbed, we're going to go short.
- 7:10All right, I'm going to go short right
- 7:11here. Little bit of a late entry, but we
- 7:14popped into 130 and we started seeing
- 7:16that rejection, so we're going to see if
- 7:18we can actually take it lower and we're
- 7:21going to be targeting uh P1. See if we
- 7:24can make our push down to P1.
- 7:32All right, we're 25 points in profit,
- 7:34stops going to break even. As we begin
- 7:37to push lower back towards the bottom of
- 7:38this range, we are going to have to
- 7:39trail stop even tighter.
- 7:41We'll see we can get the push here.
- 7:47All right, it came back up. There's a
- 7:49chance we continue, but we're we are
- 7:51compressing, so I do have to be kind of
- 7:52careful. We went about 25 points in
- 7:55profit and then snapped back. So, we may
- 7:58call it a day there.
- 8:00We had us come into that 130 area we
- 8:02were watching for. We tried to see if we
- 8:04would have that push lower.
- 8:06We couldn't have the follow-through from
- 8:08the sellers. We're beginning to compress
- 8:09a little bit right here.
- 8:11I don't want to see us get pinned down
- 8:13here and begin to
- 8:14chop essentially. The ATR is incredibly
- 8:17large. On a 5-minute, we have an
- 8:1981-point ATR. Which for trading my live
- 8:23account, um it's slightly dangerous to
- 8:26actually trade when the ATR is that
- 8:27large. I have to use really small size.
- 8:30So, I think what we're going to do is
- 8:32I'm going to just call it here. This
- 8:34idea may still work out, but it's all
- 8:36right. We took a short up here. We got
- 8:38out for about 50 points. We were trying
- 8:40to target P1. We took another short
- 8:42right here. We got out for another 50
- 8:44points. We were trying to target P1. And
- 8:47then we were trying to go short again
- 8:48right here. We got hit out at break
- 8:50even.
- 8:51Um there is a chance that we still drop
- 8:53down to P1, but we're green on the day
- 8:56on the live account. Don't really want
- 8:59to mess it up at this point. We're
- 9:00compressing. It's better if I just kind
- 9:02of call it a day and come back tomorrow.
- 9:03But just to recap, the idea today was
- 9:06very simple. We hold above HVL, then
- 9:08we're looking for us to make our way up
- 9:10here to the call wall. We held below
- 9:11HVL, then we were we were looking for us
- 9:13to make our way towards the put wall
- 9:15down here.
- 9:17When we came below HVL, we attempted to
- 9:19push back up and buyers failed. So, when
- 9:21we start rotating back over and sellers
- 9:23start to step in, that's where we go
- 9:25short. We tried to target P1. We were
- 9:27getting some good momentum, and then P1
- 9:30then switched to this level, which we
- 9:32began to kind of find a little bit of
- 9:34support here. So, when it popped back
- 9:36up, it hit us out at our trailing stop.
- 9:38When we came up in the HVL again, we saw
- 9:40the exact same thing happen, but I
- 9:42didn't want to take this trade because
- 9:45there was a potential that we could have
- 9:46just done this, right? So,
- 9:50I wanted to wait for us to break where
- 9:53the
- 9:53put wall was temporarily. And once we
- 9:56actually did that, we pushed down, we
- 9:58try and push back up, buyers failed, we
- 10:00pushed down again, and this is where I
- 10:02went short. So,
- 10:05we tried it again right here. It may
- 10:06still work out, but we're compressing.
- 10:09It's better to call it a day.
- 10:11So, I'll catch you guys next time I
- 10:12trade. We caught about 100 points today.
- 10:15Peace.
