- 0:01Hey everyone, how's it going? Welcome to another video on the channel, our second episode here in
- 0:06the mini-course about CRTs. In the previous video, I showed, in practice,
- 0:13how to set the targets for CRTs, how these CRTs are created.
- 0:19I even used these same examples. If you haven't watched it,
- 0:23I'll leave a playlist for you to understand how I set and find the targets.
- 0:29And now I'm going to show you what reset ranges and pending ranges are, how they're formed,
- 0:36okay? In the previous video, I already gave a practical example, but I think it's
- 0:42interesting to show the theory here and then go to practice so you understand what it is.
- 0:49Going back to the same reasoning as the previous video, we have this range,
- 0:53this CRT created with an upward target, okay? This on any timeframe. This won't
- 1:00interfere or disrupt anything. It can be any timeframe, 1 hour, 4 hours, a day,
- 1:06but let's consider it to be 4 hours, okay? The price creates this range to
- 1:13go up, right? The price actually starts to rise, it starts to want to reach this target up here,
- 1:20okay? It starts to want to reach this target up here and then it creates a reset range,
- 1:27okay? What would this reset range be? Uh, let me draw it here. Uh, the price has its
- 1:34primary upward target that was created here in this candle, capturing the previous candle.
- 1:39And within this range, it creates a downward range. So, we have an upward range, we have an
- 1:45upward range, but within this range it starts to want to lower the price. It creates a downward range,
- 1:51it makes a downward range and finishes the candle in this way, wanting to lower the price, okay? Uh, in this case it would be counter-
- 1:59trend. Some operations like this are a little riskier, okay? Because we already
- 2:04have our main target and the price tends to want to reach that target in the next candles.
- 2:09However, it creates this downward range, and in some cases, it will indeed go down, right? It will
- 2:17seek this target here and then start rising again, okay? Remember that for
- 2:26our upward target to be invalidated, for it to be invalidated, right, to no longer be considered,
- 2:33this candle would have to finish down here. So, if this context happened here,
- 2:39if this movement happened here, it would no longer be valid, okay? However, let's consider that the
- 2:45price sought this target here. So, this would be a reset range. What
- 2:53are the risks of trading this reset range? Okay? The price has its upward target,
- 2:59which is our main one, and it will only be disregarded after finishing down here. It creates this
- 3:05downward range. We can, right, sell seeking this target, but remember that it's a bit
- 3:10riskier. The price can, right? And it happens in some cases when the trend is very
- 3:16strong and the flow is very well aligned upwards, that the price creates a downward range,
- 3:22right? He opens the candle he wanted to go down, he's going to capture, right, that previous candle that made,
- 3:29right, our CRT to go down, and he's going to start going up. He's going to start going up.
- 3:38He's going to align this target here, to go up. Okay? So this would be one of the risks
- 3:44of wanting to trade our reset range, okay? So let's go back here,
- 3:52write it down so you understand better. This here would be a reset range.
- 4:03Okay? So this is a reset range. The price has its upside target, creates a
- 4:09downside target. In some cases, it will seek this downside target. However, remember that trading this
- 4:14way is a bit risky. Exco of understanding there of the price there for a very interesting flow alignment
- 4:21, right? When I say flow alignment, it's range alignment, okay? Everything
- 4:26I'm going to tell you here is only CRT, everything focused on the CRT, okay? So this here is
- 4:32the reset range. Price has a target to go up there, but it creates a new
- 4:37downside target. And what is a pending range? Okay, he created this downside target. Let's continue
- 4:44right here. He completed the target, okay? Which is no longer interesting to leave marked on the chart. He
- 4:50completed this downside target. The next candle, after completing this target, captures the maximum.
- 4:59From the previous candle, it starts to rise. So, from the moment it captures that previous candle,
- 5:06we create a new upward target. So, the pending range is nothing more than a target in
- 5:16favor of our main target. I marked this wrong. So, we already had this
- 5:22upward target. The price creates a new target within this range, okay? Within this range, it creates
- 5:31another target to rise. So, what's happening here is a pending range. So,
- 5:38we will always look for the operation in this way, okay? It will always be the best option. The price already has a
- 5:43bullish doll and it starts to create another upward target. Okay? The doll would be our
- 5:50macro target. For example, we have this here in one day. This is one day, okay? This
- 6:00is 4 hours. To help you understand how it works. It's getting interesting. This
- 6:09is 4 hours. Not even close enough to see properly. This is 4 hours. Okay? So in 4 hours, let me
- 6:17mark it here, it starts to make this movement here, okay? In one day, it's already set to be high,
- 6:24in 4 hours it's less, uh, more candles, okay? That within the candles of one day. So it created a
- 6:30bearish RRR, it created a bullish R. So, in 4 hours it started to want to align its bullish target,
- 6:38also seeking alignment with one day, four days, no, 4 hours. So it creates here
- 6:45in 4 hours a pending target to seek in favor of the one-day, okay? I'll show you in
- 6:52practice. It can seek in this next candle and in the next candle it can conclude this target.
- 6:58So it will always be the best option to look for a pending range trade, always wait for this
- 7:05alignment. Okay? I hope you understood. Let's now see in practice if
- 7:10we can find something here in the euro. I know there is. I even caught a
- 7:17very interesting one here, a very interesting trade on Friday. Okay? Here in one day, in two days,
- 7:25in one day it also had. Let's say one day, this bullish target, we had this
- 7:32bullish target here, okay? In one day, the price captured the candle from day 5 and created this bullish target in
- 7:414 hours. Here, look how interesting, right? This will be excellent. Just like the example I showed,
- 7:47a bullish target created for one day, the price creates another target to go down. This
- 7:54would be our range reset, okay? That's what I mentioned regarding risks. It didn't reach the target
- 8:02, it almost reached it, but it created it. So here we could be misled and
- 8:06want to sell. And the price didn't have this interesting downward movement, you understand?
- 8:12Our main target was bullish. And then what happened two days later? The price
- 8:17captures this candle further to the left, creating this target higher up, which would be our
- 8:26pending range. So, it had a main bullish target, it creates a reset range to try to
- 8:34go down, and it almost reached it, okay? This was an excellent example because it failed
- 8:41to reach the low, but it was still in our favor. To show you how it works, because sometimes—
- 8:46let me show you this diagram that comes to mind—
- 8:51sometimes the price comes from a low, it creates this R, this range to go up,
- 9:00okay? However, the price won't want to go straight up, it won't go straight up all at once, especially since there are
- 9:04some longer timeframes, okay? It creates this to go up. And to avoid going straight up,
- 9:11what does it do? It needs to restart its downward movement and seek more liquidity
- 9:19so it can go back up and reach this target here, understand? It wasn't a very interesting example,
- 9:26but it's to help you grasp the reasoning, so that it doesn't simply make this movement,
- 9:32right? What does it need to do? I removed the train. What does it need to do? It needs to create more
- 9:37liquidity and seek more liquidity sometimes below. And that's what happened. Look at the
- 9:43distance it was from this target up here. But if it goes straight up here, it'll only be in the payroll data,
- 9:49you understand? So, to avoid a direct price movement, he started setting low targets,
- 9:54capturing high liquidity, seeking liquidity down there, and then setting high targets
- 9:58to start going up. And his movements have been like that, you understand? Now let's reason
- 10:04that we have a one-day upward target, okay? We have our objective, which is now.
- 10:11The current moment on the chart, in 4 hours, look how it is, there are more candles, you understand? So we're going
- 10:18to look for trades starting from here. And what happened? My trade was on Friday in
- 10:23a reset range. It was here, look. Exactly here, look. Why? Look at the upward movement,
- 10:31the straight movement that the price had in that candle. It had this huge movement. So it
- 10:37wouldn't make sense for the price to continue going up. It needed to seek liquidity,
- 10:43even if it's a little, down here, you understand? So it even created, right, this range to
- 10:50be able to go up, the 21-hour candles, the 1-hour candle, it created to want to go up, and it even captured it.
- 10:57However, the C candle that opened, it created this downward target. It created this target
- 11:04down here. It didn't look for, so you can see, how we have a bullish doll, the doll, which would be
- 11:09our main target of the day, uh, reset ranges are riskier. And I made this trade,
- 11:18okay? There were no more R's to go up, no target up there nearby. So
- 11:22what did I think? The price is going up, it's going to want to capture that liquidity, it's going to go down,
- 11:29it's going to capture another one to keep going up. That's what I thought at the time. So, in 4 hours it
- 11:33made this capture, in one hour it also made this other capture, okay? Creating this
- 11:41flow alignment that I'll explain to you later. And right after, uh, I already lowered it to my
- 11:48operational timeframe, that's where I caught this sell here, see? Through Sid. I'll
- 11:57show you the operation later. I caught it here, see? It was more or less here,
- 12:01I think. I caught it here, see? Stop at the low, at the high, right? Looking for this target here. And the price
- 12:09went there. You saw a short action, but little movement below, it already went back up. Sorry,
- 12:18folks, my throat is a little sore. It's almost time to close. So,
- 12:23uh , that's it for the video, right? I hope you all understood that this is a restart. I won't go
- 12:31on because I'm already eager to move on, but I'll wrap it up here and continue
- 12:37in the next video, okay? I hope you all understood.
