7. 0:12did you think? So, Supergirl came out
8. 0:14this week. Um, what did you think of
9. 0:15Supergirl?
10. 0:17>> I thought it's definitely not as bad as
11. 0:18everyone's making it out to be.
12. 0:20>> What did you give out of 10?
13. 0:21>> I gave it on Let's Box. I gave it a
14. 0:23seven out of 10 or 3.5 out of five. Um,
15. 0:26I definitely didn't think it was as bad
16. 0:27as it was. was making
17. 0:30>> 3.5. It's a bit high.

19. 0:34>> seven. I put it a six.
20. 0:36>> I thought it was good. I thought it was
21. 0:37a solid superhero movie. I think there's
22. 0:40nothing offensive about it. It wasn't
23. 0:41bad like movies or anything. It was just
24. 0:44a solid nice fun. It's a solid DC movie.
25. 0:48It's better than like the garbage that
26. 0:51was being put out at the end of the DC
27. 0:52EU.
28. 0:54Black Adam, it's on the same level as
29. 0:57Black Adam, would you say?
30. 0:59probably a bit better. I'm going to say
31. 1:02>> she wasn't as insufferable as I thought
32. 1:04she'd be.

57. 2:05interconnectivity between the movies.

65. 2:20think that Superman 2025 was better than
66. 2:23Supergirl. I think that was solid eight
67. 2:26out of 10. 8.5 out of 10 movie. I think
68. 2:29that was really good. A lot of people
69. 2:30don't like it. I don't see I'm not uh
70. 2:33>> they don't like Superman.
71. 2:34>> Yeah. A lot of people I thought the
72. 2:36majority they like it.
73. 2:38>> Yeah, but there's a lot of SN fans that
74. 2:40think too hopeful and whatever. Um, it's
75. 2:43clearly the best Superman adaptation
76. 2:46ever.
77. 2:46>> It is.
78. 2:48>> It is ever. Yeah,
79. 2:49>> Coins was a really good cast.
80. 2:51>> Brilliant. Um,
81. 2:54>> but um, everyone in that movie was
82. 2:56perfect casting. I think no one was
83. 2:58really stood out to me as oh they're not
84. 3:00doing any good acting there.
85. 3:02>> What I like about both movies is the
86. 3:06characters that James Con is putting in
87. 3:08as side characters building it up.
88. 3:10>> For example, Supergirl Lobo Lobo was
89. 3:14sick.
90. 3:14>> Lo was good. Jason was they're
91. 3:16definitely better with Lobo than
92. 3:18Aquaman.
93. 3:19>> I clearly enjoyed it more. Aquaman 2 was
94. 3:21not that great.
95. 3:22>> Aquaman 2 was not good.
96. 3:23>> I wanted it to be because I thought
97. 3:25Black Manta was going to be a cool
98. 3:26villain, but it's just a bit not good
99. 3:28again.
100. 3:29>> Unfortunately, not. But Loa was good. It
101. 3:32was good.
102. 3:32>> Once he say it, he didn't mean to be it.
103. 3:35>> Didn't mean to be, but he didn't
104. 3:36overstay his welcome either. Like the
105. 3:39merch sort of lo Fortnite skin wasn't
106. 3:42merch. I'm pretty sure he had more
107. 3:44funkers than Supergirl, but like he
108. 3:47didn't overstay as welcome like I
109. 3:49thought he would be. I thought it would
110. 3:50be pretty like Lobo shows up and it's a
111. 3:52Lobo movie, but it's not. James Gun
112. 3:55loves his misfits and Lobo is
113. 3:56unfortunately one of those. But he was
114. 3:58the coolest part of every scene, wasn't
115. 4:00it? He was the
116. 4:02I really like
117. 4:03>> that was good.

119. 4:07watch this probably, but good job.

121. 4:11>> so let's talk about um the other DC
122. 4:13thing uh that's come out. Peacemaker.

124. 4:16>> What did we think of Peacemaker?
125. 4:18>> Peacemaker 2 is the most overhated
126. 4:20thing, one of the most overhated things
127. 4:22that's ever come out. The ending was not
128. 4:25that bad. It didn't need to be
129. 4:26something. Yes, James gone overhyped
130. 4:29like crazy. There's gonna be this guy.
131. 4:31There's going to be this guy. We thought
132. 4:33like Batman was going to show up. It was
133. 4:34just like
134. 4:36henchman
135. 4:39henchman. But it was a good episode. It
136. 4:42tied the knots on a lot of things going
137. 4:44on in the show.
138. 4:45>> I enjoyed Peacemaker. However, I do have
139. 4:48a problem with Peacemaker season 2. It
140. 4:50being Peacemaker season 2, right? I
141. 4:53enjoyed it. It was good. But
142. 4:55unfortunately the contents of Peacemaker
143. 4:58season 2 doesn't make sense to be in the
144. 5:02new DCU.
145. 5:04>> Why not?
146. 5:04>> Because right so it's established in
147. 5:08Peacemaker James Gun has basically said
148. 5:10nothing from the DC EU is in the DCU
149. 5:13except Peacemaker season 1. That already
150. 5:15makes no sense because Nick season one
151. 5:18is a direct sequel to
152. 5:21The Suicide Squad. And The Suicide Squad
153. 5:24is The Suicide Squ's good. I'm not
154. 5:26saying it's bad, but
155. 5:27>> one of the best DCU movies.
156. 5:29>> It's probably DCU DC is not high bar
157. 5:33though, is it?
158. 5:34>> I mean, yeah, but definitely the best.
159. 5:38>> Yeah. Um, but due to that Peacemaker
160. 5:42season one being a direct sequel to
161. 5:43that, it's quite difficult to sort of
162. 5:46say, oh, draw the line,
163. 5:48>> draw the line. It's difficult to draw
164. 5:50the where to draw the line. Oh, this is
165. 5:51in it, this isn't. And Peacemaker 2 sort
166. 5:54of exemplified the problem, the initial
167. 5:55problems we had because
168. 5:58it Rick Flag Senior is in it. and it's
169. 6:01talking about, oh yeah, you killed my
170. 6:02son, but that was in the DC EU, not the
171. 6:05DCU, which sort of implies that the
172. 6:08Suicide Squad is cannon. Um, which then
173. 6:12that goes back to the original Suicide
174. 6:14Squad and that links Batman.
175. 6:16>> I think we just have to turn our brains
176. 6:18off and make the Suicide Squad the cut
177. 6:20off point.
178. 6:21>> Yeah.
179. 6:21>> I think we just have to just ignore it.
180. 6:23Ignore the ties that it has to the other
181. 6:26stuff.

183. 6:30>> what do you think of Rick Flag Senior as
184. 6:31a character?

193. 6:50stop what senior is doing to avenge his

195. 6:56Rick is technically the most seen
196. 6:59character in the new DCU.

198. 7:03in Creature Commanders as well.
199. 7:04>> He is in Creature Commanders. You think
200. 7:06he's going to get the gray hair?
201. 7:07>> Um, I think eventually they're going to
202. 7:09have to because it's quite difficult if
203. 7:11you if you're not like a fan of casually
204. 7:13watching it, it's quite difficult to
205. 7:15sort of put the two characters the same
206. 7:17guy.
207. 7:17>> You know, season 2 is coming out.
208. 7:19Creature Commando this year.

211. 7:24>> they kept that they kept that under wrap
212. 7:26somewhere. Not really.

221. 7:39with Batman. That's another project
222. 7:41coming out this year. Clayface. What do
223. 7:44we think about Clayface movie being the
224. 7:46third movie in the DCU? I think that
225. 7:49we're going to have the same take as a
226. 7:50lot of the audience.

228. 7:52>> Um it's going to be it's probably going
229. 7:55to be really well written. It's probably
230. 7:57going to be really well received.
231. 8:00>> I feel like it could could get to the
232. 8:01same heights as Jugger One if it if it's
233. 8:04good.

236. 8:07has. I mean, everyone's hyping up horror
237. 8:09movies these days.

245. 8:20James Gun loves his misfits and Clayface
246. 8:22is one of those D villains who hasn't
247. 8:24really been given a spot to spot much.
248. 8:26The only way to make it work is if they
249. 8:28do mad world building for Gotham.
250. 8:31>> Yeah, they make Gotham like a scary
251. 8:33place.
252. 8:34>> Lots of Batman references, lots of other
253. 8:37Gotham character references.
254. 8:40>> Yeah, just mentions of these people. Um,
255. 8:43>> that would make it a bit more
256. 8:45>> Yeah. Make Gotham feel alive like how
257. 8:46they made
258. 8:49Gotham references in Metropolis, stuff
259. 8:51like that. Just small Easter eggs.
260. 8:53>> Clayface could work if Batman is the
261. 8:57antagonist of the movie. That would fix
262. 9:00every problem everyone has with it.
263. 9:02Batman should be the antagonist and it
264. 9:04would be the coolest thing ever. Really
265. 9:06scary Batman. I like the idea of Batman
266. 9:09as an antagonist in the movie, but I
267. 9:12think that
268. 9:14for it to work, you can't have a
269. 9:15superpowered villain. Why? I know Batman
270. 9:19say that. Why? I know Batman can just
271. 9:21beat up the superpowered villains as
272. 9:23well as the just mentally ill people he
273. 9:25deals with. But I think a Batman being
274. 9:28the villain would be a lot more
275. 9:29interesting if it was Penguin or the
276. 9:31Riddler or maybe even Joker. I think a
277. 9:35Joker with We've had those.

279. 9:38>> And they have this opportunity on their
280. 9:40hands. Like when are they going to get
281. 9:42another chance to make Batman the
282. 9:44antagonist in a movie?
283. 9:46>> Yeah. Um
284. 9:48hopefully Batman shows up or is at least
285. 9:51mentioned it in some capacity because
286. 9:54>> B signal at the end.
287. 9:55>> Bad signal at the end would be
288. 9:57>> sick.

290. 10:00thing coming out this year DC thing.

293. 10:06about Landon. I think

296. 10:11>> Lack of green is at the top of my list.
297. 10:13Lack of green and comic accuracy in
298. 10:16design choices.

303. 10:25merch for it either yet, which is
304. 10:27surprising because usually merch comes

306. 10:30saw this morning a figure of Howard
307. 10:32Jordan in a
308. 10:34really dirty green looking color.

310. 10:40um I think that it could be good. I

321. 11:06crush it. He's such a good choice.

339. 11:45casting. Up there with Heath Ledger, by
340. 11:47the way.

344. 11:54Man of Tomorrow. I think it's a really
345. 11:55good idea that they're making Superman

437. 14:51should be the same age as Superman. That

469. 15:56have team of four. You need like a team

474. 16:06radar. Yeah. You know who I think should
475. 16:08be Aquaman?

513. 17:21marketing. Not enough profit. Supergirl

516. 17:27and it's been out two weeks.

543. 18:25Wonder Woman to be portrayed in the DC?

547. 18:35>> I want it to be I want for now I want
548. 18:38for now Wonder Woman, Superman and Green
549. 18:40Lantern to be the leading heroes of that
550. 18:42world. I want Batman to be on the
551. 18:44outsides.

553. 18:48life Wonder Woman is good.

837. 28:16without like the cuz so many of them
838. 28:19were also in real time and were only
839. 28:21like seconds long. Two of them were
840. 28:23credits. Three of them were opening
841. 28:26songs. Like in that little Looney Tunes
842. 28:28thing, they There's maybe like five in
843. 28:31his head numbers in that movie. They act
844. 28:33like there's 50.

922. 31:35point. He made Joker to protect himself
923. 31:38and all the little people of Gotham from
924. 31:41those people who use corruption and
925. 31:43power. And then when Joker couldn't save
926. 31:47him,
927. 31:49ended up getting his only friend killed,
928. 31:52had those effects on Gary,
929. 31:55anyone is going to stop being Joker. All
930. 31:57of those events made him realize,
931. 32:01whoa, Joker's not saving me. It's just
932. 32:04doing all the things that I wanted to
933. 32:07stop.
934. 32:09It outgrew him as a person.
935. 32:12>> He can't handle it.
936. 32:14He was never he the people he killed in
937. 32:16Joker one. He didn't kill them to make a
938. 32:19point. He says that he killed them
939. 32:22because they were just awful to him and
940. 32:24he had to defend himself. He didn't
941. 32:26really see a way out. He's mentally ill.
942. 32:28He doesn't understand these things and
943. 32:30he ended up regretting it. It was never
944. 32:32out of spite that he killed them.

948. 32:41sense.

954. 32:53There's a lot of Frank Sinatra. There's
955. 32:55a lot of music that was popular in that
956. 32:57time. There's an original song, too, by
957. 32:59Lady Gaga, which I think is really good.
958. 33:01Also, Lady Gaga did really well in the
959. 33:04role. I wish she maybe had a bit more
960. 33:06screen time, but what can you do? There
961. 33:10are a few deleted scenes which I wish
962. 33:11they had kept, but it all makes sense.
963. 33:14And they exaggerate the songs in that
964. 33:16movie like crazy. There's not a cra and
965. 33:20they spread them out. There's not this
966. 33:22song after song after song that they
967. 33:25describe it to be.
