  1. 0:01Hello.
  2. 0:01My name is Mohammed Ibrahim and today
  3. 0:03I'll be presenting my stage three of CSB
  4. 0:06450 computer system projects.
  5. 0:10On this phase of the project, we focus
  6. 0:11on on-premises networking and server
  7. 0:14administration and I'll be explaining
  8. 0:17the system that I built and how it
  9. 0:19works.
  10. 0:21First, let's revisit stage two as we
  11. 0:23developed a network that connects
  12. 0:25multiple systems together.
  13. 0:27The network allows devices to
  14. 0:29communicate, access shared resources and
  15. 0:31connect securely to the internet. We
  16. 0:33created the foundation that made it
  17. 0:35possible
  18. 0:36to build the system I will show in stage
  19. 0:39three.
  20. 0:41In stage three, I'll build a system that
  21. 0:43combines a database and a website. The
  22. 0:45database informate The database stores
  23. 0:48information about different instruments
  24. 0:50while the website allows users to search
  25. 0:53and view that data. Together, these
  26. 0:56components make the information easy to
  27. 0:58access and use building on a network
  28. 1:00created in the previous stage.
  29. 1:03So, my system have two main components,
  30. 1:05a database and a website. The database
  31. 1:08stores all the instrument data and the
  32. 1:10website acts as the interface for users.
  33. 1:13These two components work together so
  34. 1:15users can easily view and interact with
  35. 1:18the information provided.
  36. 1:21I created database to store details
  37. 1:23about different instruments. Each record
  38. 1:25includes information such as instrument
  39. 1:27type, condition and price. The data is
  40. 1:30organized in a way that make it makes it
  41. 1:33easier to search and retrieve when
  42. 1:36needed.
  43. 1:38To populate the system, I use CSV file.
  44. 1:42This file is stores data in rows and
  45. 1:44columns and I added multiple instruments
  46. 1:46with different conditions and prices.
  47. 1:49Then uploaded the file into the
  48. 1:50database. This ensures the system had
  49. 1:53enough data for testing and use.
  50. 1:56I also created a read-only user for the
  51. 1:59database. The user can view the stored
  52. 2:02information, but cannot make any
  53. 2:04changes. This helps protect the data
  54. 2:07from being modified or deleted, while
  55. 2:09still allowing safe access.
  56. 2:13I configured the database so it can be
  57. 2:15accessed from another from other
  58. 2:17computers on the on the network by
  59. 2:19adjusting system settings to allow
  60. 2:21external connections. Users can connect
  61. 2:24from different devices and locations,
  62. 2:25making the system more flexible and
  63. 2:28accessible. The database is configured
  64. 2:30for external access, allowing multiple
  65. 2:32users across the network to connect and
  66. 2:34retrieve data when needed. This improves
  67. 2:37usability and cooperation.
  68. 2:40Also, I have developed a website using a
  69. 2:42PHP file.
  70. 2:44This script allows users to search for
  71. 2:46instrument information and view results
  72. 2:49and view results dynamically. It connect
  73. 2:52directly to the to the database behind
  74. 2:54the scene and displays relevant data to
  75. 2:57the user.
  76. 2:59I tested the system to make sure
  77. 3:01everything works correctly. I performed
  78. 3:03search through the website and verified
  79. 3:06that the correct results were displayed.
  80. 3:09I also tested remote access from another
  81. 3:12system to ensure connectivity works
  82. 3:16properly.
  83. 3:17Here is an example of how the system
  84. 3:19works. The user enter search criteria
  85. 3:22such as instrument type, condition, and
  86. 3:24price. The system process the request,
  87. 3:27search searches the data, and display
  88. 3:29matching results in an organizing in an
  89. 3:31organized format as shown on the screen.
  90. 3:35User can quickly find the instruments
  91. 3:38they're looking for.
  92. 3:41In conclusion,
  93. 3:42I built a system that stores and display
  94. 3:45data through the through a website. It
  95. 3:47allows users to search
  96. 3:50and view instrument information
  97. 3:52effectively. This project demonstrates
  98. 3:55how a database and a website can work
  99. 3:57together to create a complete and
  100. 3:59functional
  101. 4:01system.
  102. 4:03This conclude my presentation. Thank you
  103. 4:05for watching.
