1. 0:00There's two ways to create a booking for
2. 0:02yourself. The first way is we're going
3. 0:04to create a booking on someone else's
4. 0:07ticket. So, tech A is going to go and
5. 0:10help tech B at his location. He needs to
6. 0:12create a booking on tech B's work order.
7. 0:17So, you can see here we have a work
8. 0:18order. We're going to go over to
9. 0:20bookings.
10. 0:22We're going to go to the dropown from my
11. 0:23bookings, hit the three dots to the
12. 0:25right,
13. 0:27and we're going to select new bookable
14. 0:28resource.
15. 0:31We're going to change our booking status
16. 0:32to schedule.
17. 0:35Our ETA time for when we plan on going
18. 0:37and helping him out. I'm going to say
19. 0:39we're going to go and help him out on
20. 0:40Monday.
21. 0:42Going to say we're going to be there an
22. 0:44hour.
23. 0:46End time is going to automatically
24. 0:48populate to 9:00 a.m.
25. 0:52And then we'll hit save.
26. 0:59and we have successfully created oursel
27. 1:01a booking on someone else's ticket. Now,
28. 1:05the other way that we can do this is if
29. 1:07we go back to the main, we'll go to
30. 1:09unscheduled work orders.
31. 1:12We can see we have an unscheduled work
32. 1:14order here at the top.
33. 1:16We're going to go ahead and open that.
34. 1:18We'll go to bookings. And in this
35. 1:20scenario, it's an unscheduled work
36. 1:22order. So, this is a work order that's
37. 1:25been called in to product support and
38. 1:27they've put it into the queue for
39. 1:29someone to get. So, you're going to
40. 1:31assign it to yourself by simply
41. 1:33selecting self assign and then save.
42. 1:40Well, we have to make sure there's an
43. 1:41asset in there before we can do that.
44. 1:43So, we go back to general,
45. 1:46go down, and we will select our
46. 1:50service status.
47. 1:55and then hit save. And now we can see
48. 1:57that the self assigned booking is there
49. 2:01and we have successfully created oursel
50. 2:04a booking on a brand new work order that
51. 2:08was open.
