- 0:22think it shows that when we found
- 0:24something that we didn't think was
- 0:25necessarily proper we immediately
- 0:28provided it to his attorneys to make
- 0:30whatever to seek whatever remedy if any
- 0:33they thought was appropriate and they
- 0:35thought it had no effect on anything
- 0:37about the case so they didn't do
- 0:38anything
- 0:38I do know that while he was here at the
- 0:40request of his defense attorneys as well
- 0:43as the court he was given special
- 0:45consideration to the point of having a
- 0:47laptop computer in his cell that where
- 0:51he could aid in his own defense for all
- 0:55of 2014 McDaniel confessed in a written
- 0:57statement to strangling and dismembering
- 1:00Giddings back in June of 2011 he had
- 1:04until April of this year to file this
- 1:05petition his father mark tells me
- 1:07Stephen has been working on this
- 1:09petition for about a year Michael
