  1. 0:00all right a web Giant and a congressman
  2. 0:02now in a web of trouble we complete the
  3. 0:06package
  4. 0:08next even though you say that you're
  5. 0:10answering direct questions finally there
  6. 0:12are many more questions
  7. 0:19now well you mess with Google get ready
  8. 0:21for the FBI to may be mess with you
  9. 0:23federal agents are now checking to see
  10. 0:24if some web whizzes over in China tried
  11. 0:27hacking into Gmail accounts of US
  12. 0:30government officials my next guest says
  13. 0:32tack that on to those Infamous gray
  14. 0:35boxer briefs you might have heard a
  15. 0:36think or two about you know the ones
  16. 0:38that may or may not belong to a certain
  17. 0:40New York congressman and you're exp
  18. 0:42exposing more than uh well a certain
  19. 0:45package anyway Robert ceciliano is a
  20. 0:47McAfee Security consultant um you know
  21. 0:51what's amazing to me Robert we keep
  22. 0:53hearing more and more of these type
  23. 0:54cases and I I guess of the case of this
  24. 0:57Congressman um an ample track record of
  25. 1:00tweets uh whether controversial or not
  26. 1:03they're all there um they're they're all
  27. 1:06shall we say exposed so what's the
  28. 1:08lesson
  29. 1:10here well what you uh put on the web uh
  30. 1:14is pretty much going to be there forever
  31. 1:16uh for the world to see it's if it's
  32. 1:18digital it's repeatable uh and so you
  33. 1:20must constantly manage your online
  34. 1:23reputation because uh you know
  35. 1:25everybody's paying attention we're
  36. 1:26living in the Fishbowl but there's also
  37. 1:28a chance that he didn't do it too
  38. 1:30the um the system in which he he he uses
  39. 1:34uh can easily be compromised as
  40. 1:36well um to what
  41. 1:41end repeat that to what end why I mean
  42. 1:45what just the uh well there's there's a
  43. 1:48service that he used that that people
  44. 1:50use called W frog and W frog um I think
  45. 1:54was compromised if you get the W frog
  46. 1:56email address of anyone you can
  47. 2:00basically tweet a photo in their behalf
  48. 2:03and uh researchers in the past 24 hours
  49. 2:05have discovered this and just uh today I
  50. 2:08tried to do the exact same thing tried
  51. 2:10to uh tweet via a w frog address and uh
  52. 2:14they discontinued the service meaning
  53. 2:16they shut it down but in other words in
  54. 2:18other words it's doable I guess we could
  55. 2:20go back and forth as to what the
  56. 2:21congressman did or didn't do or why he
  57. 2:23didn't wholly disavow the picture in
  58. 2:26question and that I don't think that's
  59. 2:28either here or there right now but the
  60. 2:30fact that someone could be set up or or
  61. 2:33that they could be embarrassed um even
  62. 2:36with stuff that might be uh from their
  63. 2:39own collection so to speak I'm wondering
  64. 2:41how far this goes and who else um is
  65. 2:45vulnerable we're all vulnerable You Are
  66. 2:48I Am uh you know internet social media
  67. 2:52it's still just a kid it's a wild what's
  68. 2:54your warning for people even at work I
  69. 2:57and now all of a sudden when I heard
  70. 2:58about this I I panicked thinking
  71. 3:00someone's going to ask me Neil did you
  72. 3:03have a history of looking for fast food
  73. 3:06places within a one M radius of your
  74. 3:08office and all of a sudden I'm exposed
  75. 3:11so but but what's the rule of thumb on
  76. 3:13this obviously you shouldn't do that
  77. 3:14stuff at work I guess but yeah what yeah
  78. 3:16you got you you got to lock down your PC
  79. 3:19you got to lock down your social media
  80. 3:21you got to update your antivirus if you
  81. 3:24know if you have any photographs or
  82. 3:26video of anything that you shouldn't you
  83. 3:27got to delete that stuff I mean you got
  84. 3:29to be a responsible you can delete it
  85. 3:31but but smart guys like you tell me it's
  86. 3:33always there
  87. 3:35right yeah it's a
  88. 3:37nightmare so in a certain congressman's
  89. 3:40case and others that might crop up even
  90. 3:43when they might be cleaning out their
  91. 3:44files the files are still there right so
  92. 3:47that then then people Target them and
  93. 3:49they might draw all sorts of inferences
  94. 3:51that are
  95. 3:53perfectly you know that might be
  96. 3:55intriguing but but meaningless right
  97. 3:58yeah and if ever sent a picture to
  98. 4:01anyone they have it and they can send it
  99. 4:02to their friend they can send it to
  100. 4:04their friend but again I I I don't think
  101. 4:06he did it I I think he got I think he a
  102. 4:08prank was pulled on him which is easy to
  103. 4:12do but uh why would you just say wait
  104. 4:15wait wait wait this is not my
  105. 4:17package you know it could be another
  106. 4:19politician drunk with power uh the guy
  107. 4:22obviously isn't handling this well in
  108. 4:24the media uh he could have been hacked
  109. 4:26he could have done it wouldn't you
  110. 4:27remember a picture like that oh that one
  111. 4:32I would yeah yeah but that's neither
  112. 4:35here right okay uh good stuff Robert
  113. 4:37thank you very very much thank you all
  114. 4:41right from a certain congressman and the
  115. 4:42Battle of the Bulge to Paul Ryan in the
  116. 4:44battle of the de
