- 0:12Good evening.
- 0:15Well, it is a joy to see you and a joy
- 0:18to celebrate this reality that is Christ
- 0:22in us, which has allowed me to enjoy Him
- 0:26in all things and see Christ through you
- 0:29.
- 0:30So, I am home.
- 0:32The house is Christ. We dwell in Him.
- 0:37We are God’s inheritance.
- 0:40So, if you will join me, we can pray.
- 0:46Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, You
- 0:47seated us at Your table, though we did
- 0:49not deserve it.
- 0:51We entered into Your Son by pure grace.
- 0:55We received the blessing that was not
- 0:58meant for us because there was a
- 1:00substitute, and now, because He is holy
- 1:03, we are also holy. And because He lives
- 1:06, we also live, Lord.
- 1:09Lord, we are completely willing for
- 1:12something eternal and spiritual to
- 1:15transform us forever, until the end of
- 1:18time, by pure grace and for the glory of
- 1:21Your holy name.
- 1:22In the name of Christ Jesus.
- 1:24Amen.
- 1:26Amen. Well,
- 1:30I want to share with you, I believe,
- 1:33that we are going to spend a precious
- 1:35time eating from the bread of life.
- 1:40We will have time for questions and
- 1:43answers, so I encourage you to write
- 1:45down any question you have, because
- 1:48after each plenary session, there will
- 1:51be a time we call "living," right?
- 1:55For questions and answers.
- 1:58Remember that this doesn't always happen
- 2:00in these settings, right?
- 2:03So, as my mom used to say when we went
- 2:05to a party, she would tell me, "Eat now
- 2:06, because when we go home, there’s
- 2:07nothing."
- 2:10This is the moment. Is that okay?
- 2:13One of the things I want
- 2:16to say is why a "reality conference,"
- 2:21right?
- 2:23What is reality?
- 2:26The reality we are referring to has to
- 2:29do with that which is the only thing God
- 2:32calls real.
- 2:35The word used in Scripture 110 times in
- 2:38the New Testament is the word*aletheia*
- 2:41.
- 2:43The word*aletheia*is a truth that was
- 2:45hidden, but now there is an uncovering
- 2:48of that truth, which is the only thing
- 2:51God calls truth.
- 2:53In other words, God the Father was
- 2:55seeing a reality before everything was
- 2:58created.
- 3:01He was seeing in eternity His own
- 3:03glorified Son and, in Him, a people.
- 3:07We were known in Him before everything
- 3:10was created.
- 3:12What the Father was seeing is what He
- 3:15was going to reveal to the saints, to
- 3:18those who now have the nature of Christ
- 3:20and the mind of Christ to have access by
- 3:24faith to that reality.
- 3:26The first one to whom God reveals this
- 3:28reality is the apostle Paul.
- 3:30It says, "I know a man in the body, or
- 3:33out of the body, I do not know.
- 3:35God knows, who was caught up to the
- 3:37third heaven, who was caught up to
- 3:39paradise and saw
- 3:42that which the Father always saw in his
- 3:44own Son.
- 3:45And now that mystery which was hidden
- 3:48from eternal times, is now unveiled and
- 3:51brought to the sight of all the saints,
- 3:54of all who come to him.
- 3:58It is
- 4:00the only thing God calls, right?
- 4:03So, when Jesus came, he said," I am the
- 4:06truth.
- 4:07"In other words, he did not come to
- 4:09speak about the truth, he came to bear
- 4:12witness to the truth.
- 4:14He was, I mean, he came to bear witness
- 4:16of himself. Everything that is true
- 4:19proceeds from him, who is the substance
- 4:21of the truth.
- 4:22And that truth is now in his own body.
- 4:26He imparted himself in life
- 4:30and everything that we now carry is the
- 4:32nature of all that the Father saw before
- 4:34everything was created and what God
- 4:36calls truth.
- 4:39The truth can now be seen.
- 4:43And where is it?
- 4:45In us, in those who are in Christ.
- 4:47But how do we access that truth?
- 4:50Well, we are going to talk about that
- 4:52because that mystery which was hidden
- 4:53from eternal times, God now reveals to
- 4:55the saints.
- 4:58So, how many times does one ask
- 5:01themselves, I mean, I hear so many
- 5:03brothers say," But why does what others
- 5:07live or what others see not happen to me
- 5:10? "
- 5:12Because I am still in that need, in that
- 5:15hunger, in that desire to be able to see
- 5:18what others communicate, right?
- 5:22And without a doubt, we must understand
- 5:24that that is where the deception is
- 5:26placed, that is where the virus is
- 5:28placed, right?
- 5:32We will see it in this time that we are
- 5:35going to share, because it is not the
- 5:38same to have it solved in my head.
- 5:42Well, it is not the same to have it
- 5:44solved in my head as it is to have
- 5:47access to eternal realities.
- 5:49I mean, to have access to eternal
- 5:51reality, I have to be born in an eternal
- 5:53realm. I mean, in order for me to access
- 5:55an eternal realm, God had to eternalize
- 5:57me. I mean, he had to put me in the
- 5:59eternal, make me one with him. And give
- 6:01me his own nature, his mind, his heart.
- 6:06I mean, everything God has to reveal
- 6:09about himself he has already given us
- 6:12and it is in us, but it is in an eternal
- 6:15realm.
- 6:16I mean, what does that mean? That we are
- 6:18accustomed to knowing all things in the
- 6:20natural realm. we connect with people,
- 6:23we learn, we know how to learn, we have
- 6:26gone to school, everything that our
- 6:29body's nature possesses, knowledge is
- 6:32within it, right? I mean, if a baby is
- 6:34born,
- 6:36they are not born with a little bit of
- 6:38life, they are born with all of life.
- 6:41Life isn't being added to them; they
- 6:43have all of life. But what is it that
- 6:45grows in the baby?
- 6:47The expression of that life. At first
- 6:50they don't know how to speak, later they
- 6:51learn to speak. They don't know how to
- 6:53walk, later they learn to walk. They
- 6:55learn to eat all by themselves. And
- 6:56where is that knowledge? It is in their
- 6:58own nature.
- 6:59As soon as the baby is born, the mother
- 7:00puts them to her breast and they start
- 7:02to eat. And how do they know?
- 7:04I mean, how?
- 7:06Who taught a beaver to build dams?
- 7:09That is, that knowledge is in the nature
- 7:11.
- 7:12When God gives us His nature, within it
- 7:15is all the knowledge of the Christ who
- 7:18dwells in us.
- 7:20That is why
- 7:23the prophets Jeremiah and Ezekiel say,"
- 7:25No longer will anyone tell their brother
- 7:27, 'Know God.' "Because, where is the
- 7:29only one who reveals
- 7:31inside us? I mean, the only teacher is
- 7:34the Holy Spirit of God. So, I cannot
- 7:36show you Christ, I can bear witness to
- 7:38Him.
- 7:40But if the Holy Spirit does not
- 7:42intervene, what we hear just goes into a
- 7:44library in our minds.
- 7:47But that is not knowing Him, that is not
- 7:49seeing Him.
- 7:51And we need the illumination of the
- 7:54knowledge of the glory of God.
- 7:57Where? In the person, in the face of
- 7:59Jesus Christ.
- 8:01Listen, this is real. This is the
- 8:04reality of God.
- 8:05So it says that the eyes of our—where—
- 8:09should be enlightened, that is, the
- 8:12understanding of what mind.
- 8:16What does the apostle say now? What do
- 8:18we have? The mind of
- 8:21the mind we have now, which is the mind
- 8:23of Christ.
- 8:26Christ is the light that illuminates
- 8:28that mind, which produces an
- 8:29understanding, and we are transformed
- 8:31through the renewal of that
- 8:33understanding.
- 8:35Is that okay? Everything happens in an
- 8:39eternal and spiritual realm.
- 8:41And what Jesus said, you are no longer
- 8:44of this world, just as I am not of this
- 8:47world.
- 8:49You were born from above, you were born
- 8:51of the Spirit.
- 8:53I mean, the church is 100%spiritual, it
- 8:55is not of this world, it does not live
- 8:57in this world.
- 8:59The church is, I mean, a pilgrim in this
- 9:02world,
- 9:05it is an ambassador of heaven.
- 9:08We are bringing the reality of heaven to
- 9:10earth.
- 9:12Is that okay? That is the design we
- 9:15carry,
- 9:18but we will not see it or be able to act
- 9:21on it, unless the eyes of our
- 9:23understanding are enlightened so that we
- 9:25may access it.
- 9:27It may be that I am not seeing it yet, I
- 9:30still haven't had that enlightenment.
- 9:32That may happen in time, but the
- 9:34transformation is not waiting for time,
- 9:36it is waiting for faith.
- 9:39Through faith we have access to that
- 9:41reality.
- 9:42So, I want to talk to you about this
- 9:44because the true misfortune would be to
- 9:46have life and not know it, right?
- 9:51Eh, and believe me that what I am
- 9:54telling you is the concern at the
- 9:56gravitational axis of all apostolic
- 9:59concern.
- 10:03You have to understand that a life was
- 10:06given to you and a spirit was given to
- 10:09you.
- 10:11The Holy Spirit of God and the only
- 10:13function He has is to make known to you
- 10:15the life that was granted to you, right
- 10:17?
- 10:20So, uh
- 10:24as I know and even from the testimony of
- 10:27many of you,
- 10:30there are brothers among us who are just
- 10:33entering into the knowledge of the Lord
- 10:35and there are others who have been in
- 10:38this understanding for some time.
- 10:42So, if you allow me, I am even open to
- 10:44you raising your hands, there is no
- 10:46problem, although there will be a time
- 10:49for that, but it is important to create
- 10:51a table of grace where we can all eat of
- 10:53the bread of life. Is that okay?
- 10:56So, I want, I cannot go back too far,
- 10:59but I want to set some fundamental
- 11:01aspects for understanding.
- 11:05Just now Ernesto was saying so that we
- 11:08can understand how to grasp the reality
- 11:12in which we are living in Christ.
- 11:17The Old Testament is the announcement
- 11:22of a salvation, of a life that was going
- 11:24to be manifested
- 11:27in the gospels. That life became
- 11:30incarnate and dwelt among us and we saw
- 11:33that glory.
- 11:36In the apostolic letters that life dies
- 11:38, rises again and is imparted as life.
- 11:44And now the apostolic letters are
- 11:46bearing witness about that life that was
- 11:48imparted.
- 11:50This is the mystery that was hidden from
- 11:52eternal times, Christ in us.
- 11:55Is that okay? But now the head, which is
- 11:58Christ, is complete.
- 11:59But what needs to be completed?
- 12:01The body. In other words, Christ must be
- 12:04formed in where?
- 12:05In us.
- 12:09The body has to be, it is in full, full
- 12:12formation.
- 12:14Until when?
- 12:16Until the full manifestation of that man
- 12:18.
- 12:20Is that okay?
- 12:22And what is the Apocalypse?
- 12:24It is the book of the revelation of the
- 12:26person of Jesus Christ.
- 12:27And what does it speak of? Of things
- 12:29that are going to happen. It is not
- 12:31speaking of the revelation of the person
- 12:33of Jesus Christ. What does that mean?
- 12:37It is speaking of the full manifestation
- 12:39of that which began in His resurrection
- 12:42.
- 12:43It began as a formation and now it is
- 12:45revealing.
- 12:47You will see that all the figures that
- 12:49are in Revelation are the same figures
- 12:51that are in the Old Testament, only one
- 12:53was an announcement and this one is in
- 12:55its full manifestation.
- 12:58Amen.
- 13:00That is the order.
- 13:02So, the fact that there are figures,
- 13:05types, and shadows in the Old Testament
- 13:09allows us to be able to understand
- 13:12truths that can only be revealed by the
- 13:16Holy Spirit. This means that what is in
- 13:19the apostolic letters is completely
- 13:21foreign, that is, it is unattainable to
- 13:24the natural mind.
- 13:26That is why we fill ourselves with
- 13:29imaginations, because only, that is,
- 13:31what the apostle Paul says," No one knew
- 13:33the things of God except by the Spirit
- 13:36of God. "How many? No one.
- 13:40So, we need the work of the Spirit to be
- 13:43able to see the reality that the
- 13:45apostles are revealing.
- 13:48Is that okay?
- 13:50So, that is irreplaceable, but the
- 13:53announcement is in the form of a figure
- 13:56, right?
- 13:57I mean, if I were to put on my cell
- 14:01phone a photo of Ernesto and ask," Who
- 14:05is this? "What would you tell me?
- 14:09But it is not Ernesto. Ernesto is over
- 14:11there.
- 14:12I mean, it is completely identifiable.
- 14:15You can identify him, it is clear, but
- 14:17it is a photo.
- 14:19We can all clearly identify Christ in
- 14:21the Old Testament, but it is not him.
- 14:24It is a photo that bears witness
- 14:28to Christ.
- 14:31I mean, I can have all the information
- 14:33about him, but we are no longer learning
- 14:35about Christ, we are learning Christ.
- 14:39We learn a person. That is nature.
- 14:42And God governs nature.
- 14:46It is not a law written in stone, it is
- 14:49not a law written on paper, it is a law
- 14:52of the spirit of life.
- 14:54It is a person.
- 14:57So there we proceed by the spirit.
- 15:00But I want to talk to you about our
- 15:03salvation and I want to bring it in the
- 15:06form of figures, so that we can
- 15:08understand it better and understand the
- 15:11revelation about it.
- 15:16The story of the exodus is a perfect
- 15:20figure of our salvation.
- 15:23If we understand this, we will
- 15:25understand many questions that are asked
- 15:27about salvation.
- 15:29and the life that we carry.
- 15:31So if you allow me, I passed you a chart
- 15:34, let's see if it's around there.
- 15:38There it is. Look, you are going to
- 15:40follow me.
- 15:43The story of our salvation in the exodus
- 15:46, that is how God sees it.
- 15:50You will be able to understand something
- 15:52that is very, very important.
- 15:55The Lord says to him," Call Moses. "and
- 15:58he says to him,
- 16:03Well, he listens, I mean, remember the
- 16:06story, I mean, Israel was in slavery in
- 16:09Egypt and God hears the cry and says," I
- 16:12have heard the cry of my people.
- 16:16"" And he tells him, he calls Moses and
- 16:19says to him, listen, in Exodus 3:10 it
- 16:21says, "Come,
- 16:25therefore, now and I will send you to
- 16:27Pharaoh."
- 16:29First point, that you may bring my
- 16:31people out of Egypt.
- 16:33First point, that you may bring them out
- 16:36, alright?
- 16:38I mean, he didn't send him to negotiate
- 16:40the terms.
- 16:43I mean, he didn't send him to say, "
- 16:46Look, go talk to Pharaoh so he improves
- 16:49their quality of work, of pay, of
- 16:51schedules."
- 16:54He didn't come to bring any solution to
- 16:57this world, he came to bring judgment to
- 17:00this world, which is completely the
- 17:02opposite.
- 17:05Chapter 4, verse 22 says, "You shall say
- 17:08to Pharaoh, thus says the Lord, Israel
- 17:11is my son.
- 17:14Israel is my firstborn." Who is Israel?
- 17:18Look, this is key.
- 17:19First, knowing that whenever God is
- 17:21talking about the Israel of the Bible,
- 17:23he is always talking about his son.
- 17:25And who is his son today?
- 17:27It is his church.
- 17:29I mean, what came up from under the
- 17:31earth in his resurrection was a
- 17:33corporate son, where he is the head and
- 17:36we are the body.
- 17:39Therefore, when God is speaking in this
- 17:42story, when God speaks of his son, who
- 17:44is he talking about?
- 17:47When he speaks of Israel, who is he
- 17:48talking about?
- 17:49He is talking about us. Amen.
- 17:53>> God has only one son. Only one son. God
- 17:56has his only begotten son.
- 18:00One.
- 18:02But so that we could be saved, he had to
- 18:04place us in the son.
- 18:06Do you remember the story of Jacob and
- 18:10Esau?
- 18:13The only one who could receive the
- 18:14blessing was the firstborn.
- 18:17There is a story of deception there,
- 18:20right?
- 18:21Jacob disguises himself as the firstborn
- 18:26and deceives his father, and the father
- 18:28gives him his blessing. The figure of
- 18:30Jacob
- 18:33speaks of us.
- 18:35We did not deserve the blessing, we were
- 18:39not the firstborn, but we put on the
- 18:42firstborn's garment to receive the
- 18:45Father's blessing.
- 18:48And now in Christ we have been blessed
- 18:49with every spiritual blessing. And now
- 18:52the only begotten, out of love, becomes
- 18:55the firstborn among many brothers.
- 18:59That is why, since we are in the
- 19:01firstborn, we are the assembly of the
- 19:03firstborn, as the author of Hebrews says
- 19:05.
- 19:08Amen.
- 19:09So, Israel is my son, he is my firstborn
- 19:13.
- 19:14Amen.
- 19:17And he says this,
- 19:20"And I have told you, let my son go that
- 19:23he may serve me."
- 19:24All right. First point,
- 19:29uh,
- 19:31how many serve God?
- 19:36Listen, always try or let us try, let us
- 19:41always try to identify which library we
- 19:46are looking in, uh, because sometimes
- 19:50the answer is exactly before our eyes.
- 19:57We read a verse and I ask what the verse
- 19:59says and the brethren answer me
- 20:00something else.
- 20:05We are reading it, but an image
- 20:07immediately triggers from concepts we
- 20:10have learned that have been installed.
- 20:14It is as if we pressed a button.
- 20:16Only one serves. Who brings out my son?
- 20:19What for do I
- 20:21>> Who serves?
- 20:23The Son. Nothing else.
- 20:25It means, and what you are saying
- 20:28clearly, notice that the only one who
- 20:32builds the house is Him.
- 20:35And if it is not so, in vain do all the
- 20:38builders labor.
- 20:40No one can serve God if it is not the
- 20:42Son.
- 20:46No one can give anything to God if it is
- 20:48not the Son.
- 20:50In other words, service does not proceed
- 20:52from us.
- 20:54It proceeds from Him.
- 20:56All right? I mean, listen, service is
- 20:59something that proceeds from Him and
- 21:02returns to Him.
- 21:04What is praise? Praise is the fragrant
- 21:07aroma of Christ. That's what the
- 21:09apostles say, right? I always say this
- 21:12because Ernesto and I are from the
- 21:14generation that said pastors had to
- 21:17smell like sheep, remember?
- 21:19In a sense, it's diabolical, truly, it's
- 21:22ignorance.
- 21:24But what should pastors smell like?
- 21:28Like Christ. And the sheep.
- 21:31Of course.
- 21:32The treasure of the gospel is not us, it
- 21:34is Christ. That is why He placed us in
- 21:36the Son.
- 21:37Amen.
- 21:38That is what we are.
- 21:40It means that a power operates in us to
- 21:42express the only thing that serves God.
- 21:45It is the Son who dwells in us, who
- 21:49produces a working, who produces a
- 21:52building up.
- 21:54and who produces a desire for the
- 21:56Father's will, for God's eternal purpose
- 21:59.
- 22:01That is why He in us is the expression
- 22:03of God's complete purpose
- 22:07in His own substance, producing the
- 22:09building up, producing the working, and
- 22:11producing the desire for that working.
- 22:15It becomes our delight.
- 22:18All right? What is worship?
- 22:21Jesus said, "This, this is the hour.
- 22:23It is now that true worshipers will
- 22:25worship the Father in spirit and in
- 22:27truth. Why? Because the only one who
- 22:29worships, what is He?
- 22:31He is.
- 22:33In other words, worship proceeds from
- 22:35God and returns to Him.
- 22:38That is why it is grace. Amen.
- 22:41In other words, what God is demanding of
- 22:44us is exactly what He previously granted
- 22:46us.
- 22:48That is why it is so important to be
- 22:50able to understand this, because
- 22:52otherwise one is bringing to God
- 22:53something of the nature that He abhors.
- 22:58Do you understand me? One wants to bring
- 23:01something from their own heart, from
- 23:04their own will, to God, and they bring
- 23:07it from a nature that God abhors.
- 23:11It’s like someone taking a grenade,
- 23:13pulling the pin, and throwing it, and
- 23:15your dog goes and brings it back to you
- 23:18.
- 23:19No, no, no. You throw it again, and he
- 23:20goes and brings it back to you.
- 23:22In other words, we are bringing
- 23:24something to God that God already took
- 23:27to judgment, that God already removed on
- 23:30the cross.
- 23:32Now God has no relationship with the
- 23:35flesh, no relationship with the natural
- 23:38man; He only has communion with the Son
- 23:41.
- 23:42Amen. So God hears the cry of His people
- 23:45,
- 23:46and they say," Well, find a lamb, "a
- 23:49figure of whom?
- 23:50Of Christ.
- 23:52And they are going to choose it.
- 23:54It must be perfect, without blemish,
- 23:57chosen at a specific time, sacrificed at
- 23:59a specific time.
- 24:02With its blood, they are to paint the
- 24:04lintel and the doorposts of a door. Who
- 24:07is that door?
- 24:09Christ opens a door back to the Father,
- 24:14a perpetual door.
- 24:16How many of you have sung saying" let
- 24:19the heavens open "?
- 24:22Well, heaven opened 2,000 years ago. For
- 24:24God, in God’s eternity, He opened it.
- 24:26When that door appeared, and He is the
- 24:29door, heaven opened. For everyone who
- 24:31wants to go to Him, He is the way back
- 24:33to the Father.
- 24:35It is Christ, it is the return home,
- 24:37beloved. That is the reality. Open a
- 24:40door. He is that door. It had to be
- 24:42painted in blood.
- 24:44Whose blood does that speak of?
- 24:46Of Christ's.
- 24:48And the family had to enter through that
- 24:50door.
- 24:51Is that okay?
- 24:53And when they entered, when they entered
- 24:55through that door, salvation was already
- 24:57consummated.
- 24:59Death could no longer touch them.
- 25:02Is that okay?
- 25:04But there is a detail that is
- 25:06fundamental in this.
- 25:08All the firstborn died in Israel. How
- 25:11many?
- 25:12>> All of them.
- 25:14Only, when they passed by and saw a door
- 25:17painted in blood, it said," Here a
- 25:19firstborn died. "There was a substitute
- 25:22.
- 25:23Therefore, the one who was inside the
- 25:24door did not die. Why? Because already
- 25:27someone, a firstborn, had died in his
- 25:29place.
- 25:31Amen.
- 25:32In other words, the cross has a
- 25:34substitutionary meaning.
- 25:37Christ died for us.
- 25:40But there was something else to do:
- 25:42inside the house, they had to eat of the
- 25:45lamb.
- 25:47And that speaks
- 25:50of the inclusive meaning of the cross.
- 25:53What does that mean? They had to
- 25:55participate in his death.
- 25:58That is why the Lord says," He who eats
- 26:00my body and drinks my blood has
- 26:02communion with me.
- 26:04"That is to say, it becomes one, it has
- 26:07a common union.
- 26:10What happens in Christ is that it is now
- 26:14one life, one mind, one purpose, one
- 26:18heart, one life.
- 26:22They were joined in his death.
- 26:24And Paul says, see that we died together
- 26:27with him.
- 26:29That is, we are dead to the old nature
- 26:33and alive in Christ Jesus.
- 26:36Amen.
- 26:38So, that is understood, right?
- 26:40That is, it means it is not that he died
- 26:43and set us aside so that we could live,
- 26:46but rather that when he comes to death,
- 26:49when he faces death, he places us in him
- 26:52.
- 26:54And when he dies, we die together with
- 26:57him. So that when he rose, we rose
- 27:00together with him.
- 27:02I mean, what does that mean?
- 27:05We do not die our death, we die his
- 27:09death, united, being one with him.
- 27:14We die his death for today, so that
- 27:16today Christ may be our life.
- 27:19Therefore, there is no longer a" me "
- 27:21and Christ.
- 27:23Not anymore. Now it is one life, it is
- 27:25Christ who is our life.
- 27:30Amen. Look, this changes everything,
- 27:33because we cannot measure
- 27:37the magnitude of everything that
- 27:39happened on that cross and of everything
- 27:41that our union with Christ means.
- 27:45That is why we need the glorious
- 27:47intervention of the Spirit of God to be
- 27:49able to see, because all the time, until
- 27:52the Lord comes to get us, we will be
- 27:54dismantling imaginations, uh, because
- 27:57everything we have not seen, we imagine
- 27:59.
- 28:01So, our mind, our soul is a factory of
- 28:05imaginations, because it carries a
- 28:09permanent desire. You get up in the
- 28:12morning and you are already dealing with
- 28:14your desires, what I want to do, what I
- 28:15do not want to do, what I like, what I
- 28:17do not like.
- 28:19We face responsibilities, but there are
- 28:21things and we start to define ourselves
- 28:24by what we feel and we live so much in
- 28:26the areas of emotions that we begin to
- 28:28think that we are what we feel, but our
- 28:30senses were led astray.
- 28:33The natural man has all his senses
- 28:35astray from sincere faithfulness to
- 28:37Christ, from the will of God, from the
- 28:39government of God,
- 28:42but everything all the time tries to
- 28:44define us.
- 28:46And the gospel did not come to deal with
- 28:48what we feel, but it came to deliver us
- 28:51from the deception that the senses
- 28:53produce before the truth.
- 28:56We are not what we feel; we are who we
- 28:59truly are in Christ, what God says we
- 29:02are in Him.
- 29:05Therefore, who we are in Him must be
- 29:08revealed to us.
- 29:11We must gain our identity in our reality
- 29:14, in that which is only real to God.
- 29:19Hm.
- 29:21So, how did God leave us completely
- 29:23defined on that cross?
- 29:26This is also extremely important because
- 29:29either we are shaped by our
- 29:31circumstances or by the cross, or we
- 29:33understand that the cross left us
- 29:36completely defined in Him.
- 29:39We need to go to the foot of the cross
- 29:42to gain our identity in Christ, because
- 29:45He is now our life.
- 29:47Amen.
- 29:48Uh,
- 29:51well, if you could show the graphic for
- 29:52a moment, it says, uh,
- 29:56well, it's the image of Egypt, the image
- 30:01of death, of slavery, of a tyrannical
- 30:06king, of work without rest, uh,
- 30:12of fear, of control.
- 30:15Now they entered through that door, they
- 30:18participated in the death of the lamb,
- 30:21and now they pass in His resurrection
- 30:23through the Red Sea,
- 30:27entering into what God calls life.
- 30:30The desert is life. Now, the point is
- 30:34this.
- 30:36When Israel is in the desert, you are
- 30:39following me, right?
- 30:42Israel is in the desert, but Egypt is no
- 30:44longer there. Egypt died in the Red Sea
- 30:47.
- 30:47Pharaoh is no longer there; he is gone.
- 30:50But where was Egypt?
- 30:53>> In the heart of Israel.
- 30:55Listen, because this is talking about us
- 30:57. Do you understand that?
- 31:01It means Israel was no longer in Egypt,
- 31:04but their heart was still configured to
- 31:07Egypt.
- 31:09And then something tremendous happens.
- 31:12Moses goes up the mountain, takes too
- 31:14long to come down, and Israel makes a
- 31:17golden calf.
- 31:20But listen, it's not talking about
- 31:22another God. It doesn't say it was
- 31:23another God. For them, that calf was the
- 31:26Lord of hosts.
- 31:29In other words, they said," This is the
- 31:30God who brought us out of the slavery of
- 31:32Egypt. "What was the problem Israel had
- 31:34?
- 31:35They were saved.
- 31:38They already had life, but they didn't
- 31:41know
- 31:43their salvation. They didn't know the
- 31:45God who had brought them out of death
- 31:47and the slavery of sin.
- 31:49So what they didn't know, what did they
- 31:51do? They imagined it.
- 31:53And what did they bring? The images of
- 31:55the gods of Egypt,
- 31:58and they created a golden calf.
- 32:00Listen, this is key. Why is it key?
- 32:05Because if we are not knowing the life
- 32:07that has already been granted to us,
- 32:09what do we have in our minds?
- 32:13A golden calf.
- 32:15We are imagining God because we don't
- 32:18know God by reading the Bible.
- 32:21The only one who reveals the Son is the
- 32:23Spirit of God. No one knows the things
- 32:25of God except by the Spirit of God.
- 32:27The scriptures bear witness to that life
- 32:30. Is that okay?
- 32:32So we explained, Jesus takes 40 days
- 32:35between the resurrection and the
- 32:37ascension.
- 32:40And it says he did it for two reasons.
- 32:43In those 40 days, he stayed to speak to
- 32:44them about the kingdom of God. He told
- 32:46them," Look, the kingdom of God is not a
- 32:48bunch of people believing in the same
- 32:49thing. It is me.
- 32:51The kingdom of God is me. I am going to
- 32:52leave and I am going to impart myself as
- 32:55life and I will dwell in you and you in
- 32:57me.
- 32:58I am going to be the head. And the head
- 33:00is a state of government, it is a
- 33:02kingdom that governs the multiple
- 33:04members.
- 33:05The kingdom of God is Christ as the head
- 33:08, governing the whole body.
- 33:11And the second reason why he stays 40
- 33:14days before the ascension, I am going to
- 33:16read it to you so you have it.
- 33:20He says it this way.
- 33:22In Luke 24:44 it says, "And he said to
- 33:24them, these are the words which I spoke
- 33:26to you while I was still with you,
- 33:32that everything written about me must be
- 33:35fulfilled."
- 33:36Where?
- 33:40In the law of Moses, in the prophets,
- 33:42and in the psalms. "
- 33:47Verse 45 says," Then he opened their
- 33:50understanding, that they might
- 33:52comprehend the scriptures.
- 33:57He was saying, look, Moses never spoke
- 33:59of anything other than me.
- 34:02The prophets never spoke of anything
- 34:04other than me.
- 34:08The psalms never spoke of anything other
- 34:09than me.
- 34:11All the scriptures bear witness of me.
- 34:17And he did not ascend until they
- 34:20understood what the function of the
- 34:22Scriptures was. It was to bear witness
- 34:25of him.
- 34:26So, it means the scriptures do not teach
- 34:29us how to live.
- 34:31The only one who teaches us, he says, "
- 34:33He will glorify me, for he will take of
- 34:35what is mine and declare it to you. He
- 34:38will teach you all the things that I
- 34:39have commanded you. In other words, the
- 34:42Spirit that dwells in us reveals to us
- 34:44the Son, the nature that possesses all
- 34:47knowledge. In other words, the
- 34:49Scriptures are bearing witness to whom?
- 34:51To the Christ who dwells in us.
- 34:54And then, and what do they say? What do
- 34:56the apostles say about the scriptures?
- 34:58What are the scriptures for? For
- 35:00correction, for reproof, to destroy
- 35:03injustice.
- 35:04So that the Christ who dwells in us, who
- 35:06is the perfect man, may be formed.
- 35:10Is that okay?
- 35:12So,
- 35:14what does it mean? If I haven't seen
- 35:16Christ,
- 35:21the one of whom the Scriptures testify,
- 35:23when I read the Scriptures I am reading
- 35:24true words,
- 35:28but if I didn't see Christ, I am filling
- 35:29them with imagination. I read true words
- 35:32, but I am loading them with my own
- 35:35content, with my own natural
- 35:37understanding.
- 35:41I am filling them with imagination. In
- 35:42other words, I am reading the Scripture
- 35:45, but in reality, I am looking at a
- 35:47golden calf.
- 35:51Unless the Spirit of God reveals to me
- 35:53the one of whom the Scriptures testify.
- 35:56Amen. Is that understood?
- 36:00So, any person who is not seeing Christ
- 36:03but is teaching the Scriptures,
- 36:09if he hasn't seen Christ, he is speaking
- 36:12from his own imaginations.
- 36:16So, every time God has to instill truth
- 36:18, He has to uninstall.
- 36:22And believe me, there is a power, a—
- 36:25everything that does not function
- 36:28organically in the church functions in
- 36:31the form of a pyramidal government.
- 36:35What is pyramidal government? It is,
- 36:37let's say, the Babylonian government. It
- 36:40is the Babylonian model. What does that
- 36:41mean?
- 36:42It is man trying to please God by his
- 36:46own means.
- 36:49It is man striving to do what God wants
- 36:53.
- 36:56Therefore, since there is a man who now
- 36:59has merit because he is striving to be
- 37:02good, obedient, right? The merit is in
- 37:05the person, right? And from there, the
- 37:08enlightened ones, the untouchables, are
- 37:11born, isn't that true? Those who receive
- 37:14the voice of God to bring it down to the
- 37:16people.
- 37:19In other words, at the tip of that
- 37:21pyramid there is a man, there is a
- 37:23ministry, there is a denomination, there
- 37:25is whatever,
- 37:27but the church is not a pyramid, it is a
- 37:29body,
- 37:31it is organic life.
- 37:35What does that mean? That everything
- 37:37that does not produce life, man
- 37:39substitutes with rules.
- 37:41Is that understood or not?
- 37:44I mean, because man needs to know what
- 37:48to do, but it’s not a" what, "it is a"
- 37:52who. "Do you understand?
- 37:55Paul says," Who will deliver me? He does
- 37:57not say, "What will deliver me or what
- 37:58do I have to do to deliver myself from
- 38:00this body of death? He says," Who will
- 38:02deliver me from this body of death? So
- 38:04there we see, look, there we see the
- 38:08sequence of Romans 7, 8, and 9, right?
- 38:13Romans 7 is a man who is in Christ, but
- 38:15wants to act
- 38:19by his own means saying: "I want to do
- 38:21this for God, and I realize that what I
- 38:24want to do, I do not do; and what I do
- 38:27not want to do, that I do, and I realize
- 38:30there is a law: the law of sin that
- 38:32dwells in me."
- 38:37In other words, there is a man who longs
- 38:39for the will of God, who desires the
- 38:41will of God.
- 38:43But he is operating in the wrong nature
- 38:45, which cannot.
- 38:48Romans 8, what does it say?
- 38:51That the Lord set us free from the law
- 38:54of sin and introduced us into a nature
- 38:56in which the law of the spirit of life
- 38:59operates.
- 39:03Where is the entire fulfillment of God's
- 39:05will and purpose found?
- 39:08And what does Romans 9 say?
- 39:11Listen, it says, look, this is the
- 39:13mystery that was hidden from eternal
- 39:15times, isn't it? And it is revealed to
- 39:17us. This is God's eternal purpose,
- 39:21that Christ, Christ is the firstborn
- 39:24among many brothers, and the goal is for
- 39:28Christ to be formed in the saints.
- 39:32Then we can understand
- 39:36that what does not proceed from life,
- 39:39someone will replace; man will replace
- 39:41it with laws. For example, if we wanted
- 39:44to organize, suppose a church, a
- 39:47congregation, one says, "Hey, we have
- 39:51many things to set in order, right?"
- 39:56Well, but if we create a structure of
- 40:00order, it is a structure that does not
- 40:03proceed from life, it proceeds from us.
- 40:08We are organizing ourselves, we say, "
- 40:10Well, let's appoint area leaders," and
- 40:12anyone, even if they haven't been born
- 40:14again, if you give them a task and they
- 40:16have good will, they will do it, but it
- 40:18does not proceed from life; it is our
- 40:20organization.
- 40:23Now,
- 40:25God is a God of order, isn't He?
- 40:29Meaning, as Christ grows, order grows,
- 40:34but that order proceeds from life.
- 40:37It is organic,
- 40:41but if a person is functioning in a
- 40:44disorganized way,
- 40:48if that order is not proceeding from
- 40:50life, someone will want to order your
- 40:51life; someone will have to tell you or
- 40:53someone will tell you how you must act.
- 41:00If, if the life of Christ in us does not
- 41:02produce decorum, meaning that what is
- 41:05seen externally is the reflection of
- 41:08what occurred internally,
- 41:12if God does not produce decorum in your
- 41:14life, someone will tell you how you have
- 41:16to dress, because the church, the house
- 41:18of God, no, but
- 41:21order, I mean, look, for example, the
- 41:23skeleton is a structure. The problem is
- 41:26not the structure. The problem is for
- 41:28the structure to be organic, to proceed
- 41:30from life. The skeleton in man is a
- 41:32structure, but it is organic.
- 41:36In other words, take a baby's skull: as
- 41:39the baby grows, the brain grows, the
- 41:41skull grows because it has life.
- 41:46But if you were to put a plastic skull
- 41:49on a baby, as the baby grows, what
- 41:51happens?
- 41:52It kills him.
- 41:55Every structure attacks life; any human
- 41:59structure lacks good will, but does not
- 42:02proceed from life.
- 42:08That is why it is irreplaceable to
- 42:10understand that Christ must be formed in
- 42:13the saints, because order proceeds from
- 42:15life, because decorum, the formation of
- 42:18His son, expresses the son.
- 42:21Amen.
- 42:22Oh, God.
- 42:27Now,
- 42:30now we are, please put up the graphic
- 42:32for me.
- 42:34Uh, now that we crossed the Red Sea and
- 42:37now Israel is in the desert, the problem
- 42:40with Israel is that Egypt is in their
- 42:43heart.
- 42:45They are indeed longing for the food of
- 42:49Egypt.
- 42:50I mean, why are they in the desert?
- 42:54Nothing.
- 42:57Now one asks,
- 43:00why didn't God bring the people of
- 43:03Israel directly into the promised land?
- 43:08Because God had to take Egypt out of
- 43:10their heart, because Egypt cannot enter
- 43:12the promised land.
- 43:15In other words, the cross operated.
- 43:18They take the graphic away, but it's a
- 43:21thing—Ah, because they are broadcasting
- 43:24.
- 43:25That might be why. Well, the cross
- 43:27operates, there you have it.
- 43:30The cross at the Red Sea and the cross
- 43:31at the Jordan River.
- 43:33The cross at the Red Sea is taking us
- 43:35from death to life.
- 43:38Is that okay?
- 43:40That is the tetelestai.
- 43:44I mean, the work is complete, but once
- 43:48they cross the the the Red Sea, the
- 43:51apostles no longer use the word
- 43:54tetelestai, they use a word that is from
- 43:58the family of tetelestai, which is
- 44:01teleion, which is the formation of
- 44:05Christ to the measure of the perfect man
- 44:08.
- 44:10Teleion.
- 44:12Right? In other words,
- 44:16the power that operates in us now is the
- 44:19cross that we see in the Jordan River,
- 44:22which is trying every day to take Egypt
- 44:25out of our heart to form Christ, to
- 44:27enter the promised land to the full
- 44:30knowledge of the life that was granted
- 44:33to us when we were transferred from
- 44:35death to life.
- 44:38Is that understood?
- 44:41But when Paul says, "I am crucified with
- 44:44Christ, so that it is no longer I who
- 44:47live, but Christ who lives in me," Paul
- 44:50is not saying, I am crucified to obtain
- 44:53life,
- 44:55but so that the life of Christ may be
- 44:57manifested in me. "In other words, what
- 45:00does that mean?
- 45:02The life of the crucified one was
- 45:04already in Paul.
- 45:07It is the seed. In other words, it was
- 45:09born.
- 45:10There was a birth. There is a seed. The
- 45:12seed is there, the life is in the seed.
- 45:15That is fine.
- 45:18But if that seed does not fall into the
- 45:20ground, life cannot be manifested.
- 45:24Is that okay? I mean, what does that
- 45:26mean? Suppose you take one—there are
- 45:28seeds that can last for thousands of
- 45:29years
- 45:32in the form of a seed, and if you put it
- 45:34in the ground, life is manifested,
- 45:37but the life is there, meaning the life
- 45:39was already in the seed, right?
- 45:42In other words, life comes to the soil
- 45:44of our soul in the form of a seed.
- 45:48The life of the spirit, where Christ
- 45:50joined with us in the spirit and now
- 45:52that reality must be formed in our soul
- 45:54. Is that okay?
- 45:56But it comes in the form of a seed, and
- 45:58there is a power, which is the power of
- 46:00His resurrection, operating within us.
- 46:05For what purpose?
- 46:06Paul says," I have counted all things as
- 46:08loss, everything as rubbish; I have lost
- 46:10everything in order to know Him. "" To
- 46:12know what? Christ as life, as our
- 46:15salvation. "To enter into full knowledge
- 46:19.
- 46:23To know Him and what else? And to know
- 46:25the power of His resurrection, that is,
- 46:27the power that operates in me so that it
- 46:29is no longer I, but Christ in me.
- 46:33And the power of the resurrection, what
- 46:34does it produce in me?
- 46:36The fellowship of His sufferings. What
- 46:38else?
- 46:41Being then conformed to Him in His death
- 46:44; where death operates, life operates.
- 46:48Amen.
- 46:50>> So, what does that seed mean?
- 46:53Suppose you meet someone in the form of
- 46:57a seed, use your imagination,
- 47:02and you go away and come back 15 years
- 47:04later and say," I've come to see
- 47:06so-and-so. "" You know him as a seed,
- 47:09right? "And now you come and there is a
- 47:13giant tree.
- 47:14You say," Who is this?
- 47:16"" It is the same life, the same person
- 47:19.
- 47:21"But when I left, he was just a little
- 47:23seed, and yes, it is the same life, only
- 47:26it was transformed.
- 47:29It is the glorification of that seed.
- 47:32And now in that tree there is fruit.
- 47:35And in the fruit, what is there?
- 47:37Seeds.
- 47:38What was the first seed that fell into
- 47:40the ground?
- 47:41Jesus, Jesus of Nazareth.
- 47:47Today, that seed grew, it bore more
- 47:49fruit, that fruit became other seeds
- 47:50that fell into the ground and it reaches
- 47:52us.
- 47:54The same life that operated in Christ,
- 47:56in Jesus as the seed, is the same life
- 47:58that we carry today.
- 48:02And each one of us is that seed that
- 48:04must fall into the ground for
- 48:05multiplication.
- 48:09Yes, you know it, right?
- 48:11Well,
- 48:12>> I, I am not, believe me, all my life I
- 48:15asked God
- 48:18not to let me do evangelical tourism,
- 48:20going from conference to conference.
- 48:22This is not life, beloved.
- 48:26We are not people sitting here just
- 48:28trying to enjoy a revelation.
- 48:31We are eating Christ.
- 48:36>> It's not curiosity; it is hunger for the
- 48:38bread of life.
- 48:41We are talking about life, right?
- 48:43So, know this.
- 48:46Why doesn't one see a transformation in
- 48:50their life?
- 48:52It is not falling to the ground.
- 48:55And if it doesn't fall to the ground,
- 48:57there will be no transformation.
- 49:01I will not participate in the glory of
- 49:04God.
- 49:06In this is my Father glorified.
- 49:09I in him and he in me. That I bear much
- 49:12fruit.
- 49:14That is why my Father loves me, because
- 49:15I lay down my life for the sheep. He had
- 49:17to fall to the ground. For this I came.
- 49:23And he takes up the cross for the joy
- 49:25set before him. What was it?
- 49:28The glorification of that seed, the
- 49:30glory of the Father, the people the
- 49:33Father saw in his own son before
- 49:35everything was created.
- 49:40Is that okay?
- 49:44So look at what happens.
- 49:46There is Israel in the, in the
- 49:48wilderness, and he says," We must move
- 49:50to the promised land, but
- 49:55we still long for the things of Egypt. "
- 49:57So they wanted to go to the promised
- 49:58land, but at the same time." And what
- 50:01they could do in months, they took 40
- 50:03years to do.
- 50:05Listen, because he is talking about us.
- 50:08Israel said terrible things, like for
- 50:10example, "If only we had died in Egypt.
- 50:12"
- 50:14Terrible. And one of the things that is
- 50:17most important is that in the wilderness
- 50:20there is nothing.
- 50:23Therefore, what were they going to eat?
- 50:25God had to provide food.
- 50:29And there the manna appeared, bread that
- 50:32descended from heaven.
- 50:35But that bread was a figure of whom?
- 50:38He said, "I am the true bread that
- 50:39descended from heaven. Your fathers ate
- 50:41that manna in the wilderness, but they
- 50:43died.
- 50:44But I am the bread.""That manna spoke of
- 50:47me, but he who eats of me has eternal
- 50:49life.
- 50:51And he had to provide water
- 50:54through a rock, and they were cold and
- 50:58there was a cloud, a pillar of fire, and
- 51:01they were hot and there was a cloud that
- 51:04covered them.
- 51:08Look,
- 51:10the problem with Israel was not that
- 51:11they didn't believe.
- 51:14How could they not believe?
- 51:16They had seen the death, the plagues,
- 51:18the death of the firstborn. They had
- 51:20crossed the Red Sea on dry land.
- 51:23How could they not believe?
- 51:26But they did not know the God who had
- 51:28brought them out of Egypt.
- 51:32And what was the misfortune?
- 51:36of Israel
- 51:40that it refused to grow, it refused to
- 51:43know the God and the life and the
- 51:45salvation that God had granted it.
- 51:49Look, if let's say
- 51:53I, uh, at the end of the month Seba is
- 51:54coming, who is going to be a dad, he's
- 51:56going to make me a grandfather for the
- 51:57first time.
- 51:59Oh, amazing.
- 52:01Well, yes.
- 52:04And
- 52:07when a baby is born in a house, it's
- 52:08impressive news, right? Beautiful.
- 52:11But suppose for a mother that a year
- 52:14passes, two pass, and you see him as if
- 52:17he were a newborn, he doesn't grow.
- 52:24And it's like that news that was
- 52:27beautiful now becomes, well, terrible
- 52:30news,
- 52:33a tragedy, right? Why isn't the baby
- 52:35growing?
- 52:38He's sick, something is wrong with him,
- 52:41right?
- 52:42That was the tragedy of Israel in the
- 52:45desert. They refused to grow, they
- 52:47refused to mature, they refused to know
- 52:49the life that had been given to them and
- 52:51remained like a baby.
- 52:53A baby
- 52:55has a fundamental characteristic; it has
- 52:57a great dependency on the world around
- 52:59it.
- 53:01It cries and we don't know, well, maybe
- 53:03it's hungry, maybe something hurts, a
- 53:05tummy ache, I don't know, teething,
- 53:07maybe it has gas, we don't know what.
- 53:10But we keep trying to, uh, guess, right
- 53:14, what is wrong with it.
- 53:18And over time we start to have, like,
- 53:20empathy, more or less trying to
- 53:21understand what is wrong, because it
- 53:22cannot fend for itself, it doesn't know
- 53:24how to eat alone, it doesn't know how to
- 53:26dress alone, it doesn't know how to walk
- 53:27alone, it doesn't know how to make
- 53:29decisions, everything depends on us.
- 53:32What happened to Israel?
- 53:33They were a child, they refused to grow
- 53:35,
- 53:37and so in everything they depended on
- 53:40God. God had to provide every day,
- 53:42provide, provide, provide, provide,
- 53:44provide, provide.
- 53:47Miracles, miracles, miracles, miracles,
- 53:49miracles.
- 53:51And
- 53:54something that is tremendous,
- 53:57they arrived at the bank of the Jordan
- 53:59River.
- 54:00One representative from each tribe went
- 54:02. There were 12.
- 54:0510 of them said," No, there are many
- 54:07peoples.
- 54:08There were many peoples.
- 54:10There were seven strong representatives
- 54:12and some of them were giants, and 10 of
- 54:15them said, "No, we are going to die."
- 54:18The first thing they hadn't understood
- 54:19was that they had already died.
- 54:22They had already died in the lamb.
- 54:25And the other point is that they didn't
- 54:27have to conquer the land, they had to
- 54:29possess it because God had already given
- 54:31it to them.
- 54:33Beloved, Christ has already been given
- 54:35to us.
- 54:38There is no personal merit, it is not
- 54:40personal effort, it is not iron
- 54:42discipline, it is grace,
- 54:46>> it is surrendering, it is believing God
- 54:49and entering into the full knowledge.
- 54:53It is I have lost everything, I have
- 54:55considered everything as rubbish in
- 54:56order to know Him.
- 55:00It is letting go of the desires of this
- 55:02world, letting go of the desires of
- 55:05Egypt to enter into the full knowledge
- 55:07of Him.
- 55:12And when those 10 said that, do you
- 55:15think God said, "Well,
- 55:18well, it's okay, after all, at least
- 55:20they are saved." No, He did not say that
- 55:22.
- 55:25He said, "I brought you out of Egypt
- 55:27with a purpose."
- 55:29In other words, God did not bring Israel
- 55:31out of Egypt because Israel had problems
- 55:33.
- 55:34He brought them out because God has a
- 55:36purpose and it was to bring them into
- 55:38the promised land, to bring them into
- 55:40the full knowledge of Him.
- 55:46And what He said, you will return to the
- 55:49desert and you will wander in the desert
- 55:52until your bodies fall dead in it.
- 55:58That was the tragedy of Israel.
- 56:00But He is not talking about Israel, He
- 56:01is talking about us.
- 56:06We can live our whole lives in Christ
- 56:08and wander in our own imaginations
- 56:11throughout our whole lives until our
- 56:14bodies fall dead in this world, without
- 56:17having truly known the life, the
- 56:19salvation that was granted to us, which
- 56:22is Christ in us.
- 56:28Look, Israel, the scripture says, their
- 56:31sandals never wore out, their clothes
- 56:33never wore out, they never lacked
- 56:35provision.
- 56:40In other words, their bellies were full
- 56:43of provision, but they died with their
- 56:47hearts empty of purpose.
- 56:54They lived a life without purpose and
- 56:56without knowing the life, the delight
- 56:58and the joy of the life that was granted
- 57:01to them.
- 57:03Only two said, "But we don't have to
- 57:05conquer anything.
- 57:07God already gave it to us, we have to
- 57:09possess it."
- 57:11And Joshua and Caleb entered,
- 57:16they entered.
- 57:22And
- 57:24what I want to tell you, beloved,
- 57:28this is the story of our salvation.
- 57:31Israel being in the desert,
- 57:37neither could Egypt come for them, nor
- 57:39could they return to Egypt, they were
- 57:41saved.
- 57:47But Paul says, "There are so many things
- 57:50I have to tell you about this glorious
- 57:52mystery in which we were given
- 57:54everything, all things where we dwell in
- 57:57the unsearchable riches in Christ.
- 58:01And I cannot speak to you about this
- 58:03because you remain children, spiritual
- 58:05babies."
- 58:11That is why the concern of the apostles
- 58:14was, it is urgent, it is urgent to
- 58:16mature, urgent.
- 58:21Or we will be spiritual children all the
- 58:24time longing for God to be providing all
- 58:27the time.
- 58:34And so we come with the expectation, as
- 58:36we were saying, come
- 58:39expecting to receive. Expecting to
- 58:41receive what
- 58:46if in Christ we were not given
- 58:47everything?
- 58:50>> We just need to enter into the full
- 58:52knowledge of him to know what has been
- 58:55granted.
- 58:58And what has been granted? The Son.
- 59:00He gave us the Son, and in him, all
- 59:02things.
- 59:04So, there are people who interpret the
- 59:06desert by saying, "God put me in the
- 59:09desert to teach me something.""How to
- 59:12teach you something? What is God going
- 59:14to teach you in the desert? The only
- 59:15thing God is saying in the desert is,"
- 59:17Get out of the desert. "" In other words
- 59:19, enter into full knowledge. "
- 59:25But do you understand, I mean, do you
- 59:27know what religion says? Religion says
- 59:28this. I have a need, I ask God for it,
- 59:30and God provides it for me. That is what
- 59:32religion says.
- 59:36But what does the gospel say?
- 59:39The gospel says," We were dead, Christ
- 59:42came, he granted us life and everything
- 59:44in him, and now we enter into the
- 59:45knowledge of that reality. "
- 59:50We were created for that reality.
- 59:52That is it.
- 59:56That is the prevailing reality in which
- 59:58we were known by God before everything
- 1:00:01was created.
- 1:00:05And Paul says," And I will know just as
- 1:00:08I have been known. "
- 1:00:12Amen. So, we are not people waiting for
- 1:00:15God to be providing.
- 1:00:17We are people who need to enter into the
- 1:00:20full knowledge of Christ to be able to
- 1:00:22see, know, delight in, and enjoy
- 1:00:24everything already granted in him. This
- 1:00:27is the story of our salvation.
- 1:00:31But what does it mean? I cannot pass
- 1:00:33from death to life if I do not cross,
- 1:00:37right?
- 1:00:38If I don't cross the Red Sea, and I
- 1:00:40cannot know this life if I don't cross
- 1:00:43the Jordan River by way of a cross. What
- 1:00:46does that mean?
- 1:00:47Where there is a gospel where there is
- 1:00:49no cross, Paul says," Run.
- 1:00:52"That is not the gospel;
- 1:00:56that is the complete opposite.
- 1:00:58Get out of there.
- 1:01:01If you look at what happened with Jesus
- 1:01:03, crowds coming to seek his miracles,
- 1:01:05Jesus told them," Look, I want to
- 1:01:07explain to you.
- 1:01:11Miracles are signs, but what do they
- 1:01:13point to?
- 1:01:14The promised land; they are pointing to
- 1:01:16him.
- 1:01:18A miracle is not an end in itself.
- 1:01:21But, do you remember what the church
- 1:01:22calls revival? What does it normally
- 1:01:25call revival?
- 1:01:26Miracles.
- 1:01:29But what is a miracle? A sign.
- 1:01:33Why did God produce miracles in the
- 1:01:35desert? For one single purpose. That
- 1:01:38they might advance to the promised land
- 1:01:40.
- 1:01:41And what is revival? Even though it is a
- 1:01:43word not found in the scriptures.
- 1:01:46What would revival be?
- 1:01:49A greater measure of life, right?
- 1:01:53And where is life?
- 1:01:55In knowing the one who is life.
- 1:01:58where a greater measure of that life is
- 1:02:00being expressed, where Christ is being
- 1:02:02formed in us.
- 1:02:03I mean, the power of his resurrection is
- 1:02:06when they come to tell Jesus,
- 1:02:11"Lord, get out of here because Herod is
- 1:02:13looking to kill you.""And he says to
- 1:02:15them, 'Tell that fox
- 1:02:18that I cast out demons, I do miracles
- 1:02:20the first and the second day, but the
- 1:02:22third day I finish my work.'"
- 1:02:25He is not talking about calendar days.
- 1:02:27What is the third day?
- 1:02:29The day of his resurrection. And what is
- 1:02:32the power of his resurrection? It is the
- 1:02:34power of the third day that dwells in us
- 1:02:35.
- 1:02:37But we are no longer in the first and
- 1:02:39the second day. Where are we?
- 1:02:41Of course, it is the day in which we
- 1:02:44dwell. For what purpose?
- 1:02:46Not to wait, to receive like the first
- 1:02:48and second day miracles, miracles,
- 1:02:50miracles. Like in the wilderness,
- 1:02:55we crossed the Jordan River to enjoy the
- 1:02:57land flowing with milk and honey, where
- 1:03:00everything is provided.
- 1:03:03Why should we be begging for water and
- 1:03:04bread when everything has already been
- 1:03:06provided in the unsearchable riches in
- 1:03:08Christ, which is where we dwell now?
- 1:03:11Amen.
- 1:03:12>> Well, may God accomplish it in us.
- 1:03:15Thank you very much.
