Full transcript
- 0:00In 2026, everybody's using AI to do SEO.
- 0:03There's a video for writing content with
- 0:04ChatGPT, another video on how to build a
- 0:06website with Claude, and another video
- 0:08to how to do keyword research. [music]
- 0:10But, here's the thing that nobody's
- 0:11actually showing you: how all of this
- 0:13fits together into one system. And
- 0:15that's really the part that matters, cuz
- 0:17ranking isn't one single task. It's the
- 0:20whole process working together as one,
- 0:22[music] from research all the way to
- 0:24building a page that ranks on Google and
- 0:26gets cited and mentioned by ChatGPT.
- 0:28[music]
- 0:28So, in this video, I'm going to give you
- 0:29the complete 2026 SEO system. Completely
- 0:33end-to-end with keyword research, how to
- 0:35write content that actually gets cited
- 0:37and ranks, how to build pages, on-page
- 0:40SEO, internal linking, tracking, AI
- 0:42search visibility, backlinks, and the
- 0:44whole thing using ChatGPT, or you can
- 0:47swap it out for Claude. If you don't
- 0:48know me, my name is Nico. I've been
- 0:49doing SEO for more than 10 years, and
- 0:51this is the exact system we teach our
- 0:53community members who are still getting
- 0:55amazing results today. So, by the end,
- 0:57you should be able to do the entire
- 0:58thing by yourself. And everything I show
- 0:59you in the video, including prompts, the
- 1:01checklists, and everything else, I'll
- 1:03leave in a link [music] to our free
- 1:05community so you can access everything
- 1:06without any extra cost. With that being
- 1:08said, grab a tea, a coffee, whatever
- 1:09you're into, and let's get into it. This
- 1:11is going to be quite a bit of a long
- 1:12one, so I want to show you what we're
- 1:13going to do, and I'll try to leave some
- 1:15timestamps below so you can, you know,
- 1:17skip into whichever section that you
- 1:19want. But, I do recommend you watch the
- 1:20whole thing. You can even watch me at
- 1:221.5 times speed [music] if you need to.
- 1:24We're going to go through SEO in 2026,
- 1:26keyword research, competitor analysis,
- 1:28the two types of pages that you'll
- 1:29probably building, how to build and
- 1:31publish them, on-page SEO, internal
- 1:33linking, AI visibility, and backlinks.
- 1:36[music] Now, before we get into anything
- 1:38at all, we want to be smart about this.
- 1:40We're going to use our AI tools to get
- 1:42started. So, [music] whether it's GPT or
- 1:45whether it's Claude that you're using,
- 1:46it doesn't really matter. What I want
- 1:48you to do is start a project for this
- 1:50entire video so you can follow along.
- 1:52We're going to set up a new project, and
- 1:54for this video, I'm going to do the
- 1:56whole thing um with a fake business that
- 1:58uh installs EV electric vehicle chargers
- 2:01along Texas. So, I'm just going to go EV
- 2:04example [music] SEO.
- 2:06I'm going to create project. The reason
- 2:08why you want to do this in a project, it
- 2:09makes things a lot easier and you can
- 2:11throw a lot of information into the
- 2:13project and it's never going to forget
- 2:15about that. There's a big important
- 2:17thing here that you need to know why
- 2:18projects is good for SEO as opposed to
- 2:21one chat. Because if you do it all this
- 2:23in a normal chat, there's something
- 2:25called a context window and really
- 2:27easily, really simply just means that
- 2:29the more you have a conversation in that
- 2:31same [music] chat, the more of the
- 2:32initial conversation info that the AI is
- 2:34going to forget because it only has a
- 2:36context window. I think the chat is
- 2:38about a million context window or half a
- 2:40million, so it will forget eventually.
- 2:42But if you have everything in a project,
- 2:43it won't. So, start a project and the
- 2:45first thing you want to do is take a
- 2:47look at the checklist that I've provided
- 2:48below and in the tab zero business
- 2:51brief, there'll be this link here. I'm
- 2:52going to link to a chat to a prompt. All
- 2:54you need to do is copy the entire prompt
- 2:56and give it to whichever AI of choice.
- 2:59All it's doing is going to extract
- 3:01information that it needs about the
- 3:02business. So, you can go to chat GPT in
- 3:04the same conversation, you're going to
- 3:05go there. Uh give it your website URL if
- 3:08you've got one or if it doesn't, it's
- 3:10going to start asking you [music]
- 3:11questions. Try to answer them as well as
- 3:13you can and by the end, you are going to
- 3:15get some sort of text file that looks a
- 3:17little bit like this. It's just got the
- 3:19basic business information and this
- 3:21already is going to vastly improve all
- 3:23of your SEO work. With that text file
- 3:25selected, we want to go to the chat here
- 3:28and in the sources, you're just going to
- 3:30drop that txt file. That's it. So, I've
- 3:32got it here in my desktop, I'm going to
- 3:33drop this right here and we'll do this
- 3:36quite a bit throughout the video. It's
- 3:38just a lovely way to really speed up the
- 3:39process of SEO and make sure that the AI
- 3:42has the right context about your
- 3:44business. Okay, let's get to the fun
- 3:45stuff. So, module number one, SEO in
- 3:482026. The number one thing that I want
- 3:50to do is make sure that we're all on the
- 3:52same understanding. I want to kill a few
- 3:53myths that are around that really don't
- 3:55help people do SEO if they take them too
- 3:58true. So, is SEO dead? Is probably the
- 4:00number one question that I get.
- 4:01Definitely not. It's not going to die,
- 4:03but it has evolved quite a lot. Now,
- 4:05you've probably seen these new terms
- 4:07close to SEO. Some of them are GEO or
- 4:10AEO AISEO LLM SEO all these other fancy
- 4:14terms. For the most part, the only new
- 4:17acronym that makes sense for me is GEO.
- 4:21And that stands for generative engine
- 4:23optimization. We call this generative
- 4:25engines because as opposed to search
- 4:27engines, the generative engines give you
- 4:30the answer that from the question that
- 4:31you asked for. Like GPT or Google AI
- 4:34overviews or even perplexity, you don't
- 4:36need to kind of click on that blue link
- 4:38to find your answer. They generate the
- 4:40answers for you. So, GEO is the act of
- 4:42well, how do I get my business into
- 4:45those generated answers, okay? [music]
- 4:47And I think it's the only real new
- 4:50acronym because it's the only one that
- 4:51up to this point I think has [music]
- 4:53been actually published in peer review
- 4:55article papers. So, for me it makes it
- 4:57the proper one. With this new form of
- 5:00SEO or this new task that we need to
- 5:02consider, there's also new goals that
- 5:04you need to learn and understand that
- 5:06they're very important. Because yes, the
- 5:08goal is still ranking really well and is
- 5:10getting clicks. They're going to get you
- 5:12your conversions at the end of the day.
- 5:14But there are two new KPIs or key
- 5:16performance index that you need to take
- 5:18into mind. And that is getting cited.
- 5:20So, the cited is when the AI uses your
- 5:23content to make up [music] the answers
- 5:24and getting mentioned. That is when the
- 5:26AI actually mentions your brand or your
- 5:28business. Two different KPIs that are
- 5:30very, very important. Now, let's kill a
- 5:32few myths before we even get started
- 5:34because you need to make sure you lay
- 5:36these to rest. Number one is Google
- 5:39penalizes AI content. You might have
- 5:41heard this in many, many places. That's
- 5:43why people obsess over,
- 5:45>> [music]
- 5:45>> you you
- 5:46these AI detectors which are complete
- 5:49nonsense, by the way.
- 5:50But I want to be very clear here, and
- 5:52Google's very clear. People just
- 5:53misinterpret this. Google doesn't
- 5:55penalize AI content. What it does
- 5:58penalize is a thin, spammy content.
- 6:01Content that doesn't add any value.
- 6:02Content that is just regurgitated AI
- 6:04slop. So, even if you write that content
- 6:06and it's bad quality, and you write it
- 6:08with your organic little hands, then
- 6:10it's still going to perform bad.
- 6:12>> [music]
- 6:12>> The thing is that it's extremely easy to
- 6:14spin up thin, spammy content with AI.
- 6:17But if you do it right, you're still
- 6:18going to rank. Myth number two is if I
- 6:21pick the right AI model, it's going to
- 6:23rank higher. So, if I do this with
- 6:24ChatGPT as opposed to Claude or Gemini,
- 6:26I'm going to somehow perform better. And
- 6:28that is no longer a ranking factor
- 6:30whatsoever. And it never really was.
- 6:32Especially now when all the models are
- 6:35vastly smart enough for this. You know,
- 6:37they're at a PhD level intelligent.
- 6:39We're just doing SEO. We're not doing
- 6:40rocket science. So, the best AI for this
- 6:43for you is the AI that you're currently
- 6:45paying for. I am going to do this
- 6:47predominantly with ChatGPT, but you can
- 6:49swap it out just as easily for Claude.
- 6:51Myth number three is AI changed
- 6:53everything in relation to SEO. The old
- 6:56rules are dead. Nothing matters anymore.
- 6:57Everything's new.
- 6:58That couldn't be further from the truth.
- 7:00If you think about it, this new system
- 7:02of AI search is built on top of
- 7:04traditional SEO.
- 7:06So, by doing good old classic SEO,
- 7:08you're kind of doing 80% of what we
- 7:10would consider GEO.
- 7:12All right. Let's get to the first set of
- 7:14actual work. [music]
- 7:16Keyword research. What is it and why is
- 7:18it really still important? Keyword
- 7:20research is the act of finding the exact
- 7:23words people are typing when they're
- 7:24looking for what you sell. And a lot of
- 7:26people get this wrong from the start and
- 7:28don't understand why they need to do it.
- 7:30One of the main reasons or errors that I
- 7:31see people doing is they know their
- 7:34industry very well, and the search terms
- 7:37or the names they use for their service
- 7:39or the product sometimes differentiates
- 7:41vastly between how a new customer might
- 7:43be searching for it. Let me give you an
- 7:44example here. So, if you follow this
- 7:46electronic vehicle charger installation
- 7:48thing, an expert might call that well,
- 7:50this is technically a EVSE installation.
- 7:52Sure, but your consumer might be
- 7:55actually searching for Tesla charger
- 7:57installation, right? They're both
- 7:58correct and whilst the expert might be
- 8:00saying, well, it's not really a Tesla
- 8:01charger, it can charge anything, it
- 8:03doesn't matter. That's how your customer
- 8:04is searching for [music] it. So, that's
- 8:06the main task that we want to
- 8:07understand. And when it comes to keyword
- 8:09research, there are technically more
- 8:11types of keywords that I'm mentioning
- 8:13here, but I like to simplify things. And
- 8:16for the most part, our task here is to
- 8:18find two [music] types of keywords for
- 8:20your business. That is, the
- 8:22transactional keywords, the search terms
- 8:25and the keywords that people use when
- 8:26they're ready to buy. For example, a
- 8:28home EV charger installation. I'm
- 8:29probably looking for that product, I'm
- 8:31ready to do that. As opposed to
- 8:33informational keywords,
- 8:34>> [music]
- 8:35>> where people are looking still for
- 8:36information, they want to get a little
- 8:37bit more educated. For example, like EV
- 8:40charger installation cost. I'm still
- 8:41kind of finding out how much these
- 8:43things cost before I choose who I go
- 8:45with. That's the main thing that we're
- 8:46going to be focusing on this kind of
- 8:49section for keyword research. And whilst
- 8:51there are more, keep it simple in this
- 8:52whole thing. Okay. So, let's try and
- 8:55find your transactional keywords here.
- 8:57Again, these are the ones that people
- 8:58are ready to purchase. To do keyword
- 9:01research, you're going to need some sort
- 9:02of SEO tool. There are hundreds out
- 9:05there. You can use Ahrefs, SEMrush, you
- 9:07can even connect your GPT to Datawise.
- 9:10SEO. I'm going to keep it very simple
- 9:11here, and we're going to use Datawise.
- 9:13For full transparency, and Datawise is a
- 9:15tool that I have built for our paying
- 9:18community. I'm not saying you have to
- 9:19use this. In fact, [music] I'm going to
- 9:21give you a code that's going to allow
- 9:22you to use Datawise completely for free
- 9:24for a couple of days. So, even if you're
- 9:25doing this tutorial over a few days, you
- 9:27don't have to pay for anything. You can
- 9:29use Datawise, do all your research, and
- 9:31get out, right? Um so, you're going to
- 9:32make an account with Datawise. And when
- 9:34you log in, it's going to look a little
- 9:35bit like this. If you've got a website,
- 9:38it's great if you kind of connect it to
- 9:40your Google Search Console, something
- 9:42that we'll touch on later. But, if you
- 9:43don't, what I want you to do is add a
- 9:45manual website for this. We're going to
- 9:47add a website. We're going to go add
- 9:49without Google Search Console. We're
- 9:51going to go add without Google Search
- 9:52Console.
- 9:53So, this is where I'm going to organize
- 9:55everything in there. So, let's go for um
- 9:57keyword research. And here on this tab,
- 10:00I've got a few things that I can do with
- 10:02keyword research. The overview, the
- 10:03related keywords, suggestions, ideas,
- 10:06difficulty, people also ask, and fan out
- 10:08queries. If you don't know what these
- 10:10things are, there's going to be a
- 10:11description of what the search is right
- 10:14here. And again, this is all using data
- 10:16from Data for SEO, again, full
- 10:18transparency.
- 10:20So, let's start with understanding what
- 10:21are
- 10:22>> [music]
- 10:22>> all our transactional keywords. And
- 10:24here, you need to start by understanding
- 10:26the transactional keywords are just your
- 10:27services, right? So, you should know all
- 10:30your services, but we've also added the
- 10:32business brief into ChatGPT, so we can
- 10:34start having chats here and saying,
- 10:35"Okay,
- 10:36what are all the transactional
- 10:40words I need to do
- 10:42research for?
- 10:45What are all the services?"
- 10:48Right? It's an instant. You don't need
- 10:50the smartest model for this. Again,
- 10:51we're not doing rocket science, we're
- 10:52just doing keyword research. And it's
- 10:54You see that it based [music] on the
- 10:56brief, it's understood here the primary
- 10:58services right away, the brand-specific
- 11:00services. Cool. So, that might be
- 11:02sub-service pages that I can build,
- 11:04vehicle-specific services. [music]
- 11:06I need to find if they actually have
- 11:07keywords uh search volume or not. But,
- 11:10let's start with the primary services,
- 11:11[music] okay? So, EV charger
- 11:13installation.
- 11:14Perfect. I'm going to grab this one.
- 11:16That's going to be one of my services
- 11:17pages, and these are probably going to
- 11:18make all my services pages, depending on
- 11:21their search volume here. Let's grab the
- 11:23first one here. I'm going to go back to
- 11:24Datawise. In keyword research, I want to
- 11:27first start with the overview. Uh this
- 11:29just gives me an understanding of, you
- 11:31know, general information about that
- 11:32keyword. I'm going to change the
- 11:33location here. I'm going to do this for
- 11:36uh United States. You do want to
- 11:38change the location depending on where
- 11:40you are in the world. It will change
- 11:41things quite a bit.
- 11:43I'm going to go get overview. And I just
- 11:45want to see well, is there actually
- 11:46search volume for this? Great. There is
- 11:49quite a bit. There is, you know,
- 11:51estimated monthly search volume, the
- 11:52keyword difficulty, this is out of 100,
- 11:55uh the cost per click, what people are
- 11:57willing to pay for [music] per click
- 11:58when I'm running ads. So, $17 per click,
- 12:01that's quite expensive keyword. Perfect.
- 12:03Now, within Datawise, it's going to help
- 12:05you get a bit organized. So, what I want
- 12:08to do is click on this button and I want
- 12:10to save to planner.
- 12:11Don't worry about it where this goes. I
- 12:13just know that that keyword is being
- 12:15saved somewhere that we can kind of
- 12:17cluster this whole thing up and not
- 12:18forget that. With that keyword selected,
- 12:20I'm actually going to go to suggestions
- 12:22and I want to find related or suggested
- 12:25keywords for EV charger installation.
- 12:28And this is going to do one or two
- 12:29things. It's going to allow me to see
- 12:31what are the other search terms that
- 12:32people are looking for related to this,
- 12:34but it's also going to allow me to find
- 12:36what I like to call secondary keywords
- 12:37or LSI keywords. Keywords that the AI
- 12:40search engines or the traditional search
- 12:42engines as well would be kind of
- 12:44accustomed to seeing together. So, for
- 12:46example, I've got here EV charger
- 12:48installation, great.
- 12:50Installation EV charger, okay. Level two
- 12:53EV charger, so that's probably going to
- 12:55have to be a second uh page, we'll see
- 12:58in a second.
- 12:59I've got here EV charger installation
- 13:01cost, okay, cool.
- 13:04And essentially what I want to try and
- 13:05do is just find all the keywords that
- 13:07are going to be related to that service
- 13:09or even related services, but I just
- 13:11want to have an understanding of all the
- 13:13search terms or the keywords that I'm
- 13:14going to have to place into this [music]
- 13:15page. So, that charger installation
- 13:17cost, perfect. Home EV charger
- 13:19installation, good. Electrician for EV
- 13:22charger installation, that is definitely
- 13:24a keyword that I want in that page.
- 13:25Level one, uh some of them might be a
- 13:28little bit um much of the same, so
- 13:30that's okay. EV charger installation
- 13:31companies, EV charger installation
- 13:33rebates, perfect. EV charger
- 13:35installation credit tax credit, I
- 13:37probably need to have some information
- 13:38about that. Don't second-guess this a
- 13:41little bit too much. Just find any
- 13:42related ones. GPT will do all Claude
- 13:44will do the hard work in figuring out
- 13:46which keyword goes where, right? So,
- 13:47just go through the ones that make sense
- 13:49for you. EV charger installation
- 13:51contractor.
- 13:54EV charger installation requirements,
- 13:56there's quite a good few good ones here.
- 13:58And I like looking at it like this as
- 14:00opposed to just giving this to ChatGPT
- 14:02to figure out with the right connection
- 14:04to an SEO tool because I start
- 14:06understanding, okay, that people are
- 14:07searching for brand names as well. So, I
- 14:09probably don't just do EV charger
- 14:11installation. I might later down the
- 14:13line make a subpage or a subservices
- 14:15page for BMW EV charger installation.
- 14:17There's another one, Chevy. Cool.
- 14:21Here's something already as well, EV
- 14:23charger installation for businesses. So,
- 14:25obviously, this is not just for homes,
- 14:27but I need to consider that if the
- 14:30client that you're working for wants to
- 14:32do a residential as well as commercial,
- 14:34there's a search volume, so you might
- 14:35want to ask them that. So, you start
- 14:36learning a little bit more and giving
- 14:37the client, or if it's your website, a
- 14:40bit more of a broader transactional
- 14:41[music] search terms. Okay, for now, I
- 14:44think that's enough. I could go this
- 14:45forever. And what you want to do is then
- 14:48save all this to planner.
- 14:50>> [music]
- 14:50>> And now, all your keywords are neatly
- 14:52saved. If we go to the
- 14:55content section [music] here, and we go
- 14:56to planner, you see now that all these
- 14:59keywords are saved correctly. I can go
- 15:01to cluster, and this kind
- 15:03[clears throat] of already knows, "Hey,
- 15:04you got 27 keywords here. They're around
- 15:07or you searched for the seed keyword of
- 15:09EV charger installation. Do you want to
- 15:11create a cluster for this?" I'm going to
- 15:13go, "You betcha. Let's create a cluster
- 15:15for this." And this cluster tells you,
- 15:17"Okay, out of all these keywords, the
- 15:19estimated monthly search volume is
- 15:2148,000 key search terms a month. Just a
- 15:24bit of a side note here, whichever SEO
- 15:26tool you use, whether it's Datawise,
- 15:28whether it's Ahrefs, SEMrush, whatever,
- 15:30they're not an absolute source of truth.
- 15:32No matter how much they say they are,
- 15:33they're not. So, take this with a grain
- 15:35of salt and treat it as a direction, not
- 15:38as an absolute source of truth. Okay?
- 15:40Perfect. So, what I can do is a couple
- 15:41of things here. I can now download this,
- 15:44copy the CSV. I'm going to download it
- 15:45as a CSV file, and [music] you're
- 15:47probably guessing this now, I can place
- 15:49it directly into my GBT sources. I'm
- 15:52going to chuck this in here right away.
- 15:55What you want to do now is
- 15:57do the same thing for all of your
- 15:59services, and you're going to start
- 16:00finding some
- 16:02>> [music]
- 16:02>> all the transactional keywords that you
- 16:04need, right? So, do the same thing, but
- 16:07for all your services, and you'll have
- 16:08all the transactional keywords you need.
- 16:10Okay? Let's move into the informational
- 16:13keywords. These are the question
- 16:15keywords people looking for more info
- 16:17before they make a purchase. There are
- 16:18two types of informational keywords, at
- 16:20least in my opinion. There is the people
- 16:22also asked keywords, and these are fan
- 16:24out queries. So, the people also asked
- 16:27keywords, you have probably seen. If you
- 16:29don't know what they are, um they're
- 16:31very, very easy to understand. If you
- 16:33search for a keyword, for the most part,
- 16:35you're going to have a, you know, Google
- 16:36AI overview these days, but if you go
- 16:38down, you should see this section,
- 16:40people also asked, and these are the
- 16:42frequently asked questions around this
- 16:44keyword. We want to get all of these
- 16:46questions, right? There's a little trick
- 16:47here that people don't know. If you
- 16:49click down on the questions, you're
- 16:51going to get more subsequent questions
- 16:52about this. Now, we want to copy all
- 16:54these and understand their search
- 16:55volumes. This would take quite a while
- 16:57here. So, all we're doing is with that
- 16:59main keyword, right? The same
- 17:01transactional service keyword, we just
- 17:03want to find its relative informational
- 17:06keywords. We're going to go back with
- 17:08that keyword copied in in my clipboard,
- 17:10keyword research. I'm going to go to
- 17:12people also asked, right? I've got here
- 17:15EV charger installation United States.
- 17:16The search depth level we're going to go
- 17:18to three. This is going to take a little
- 17:20while, but this is going to find all the
- 17:22related questions that people are asking
- 17:25in the United States around EV charger
- 17:27installation. The [music] next process
- 17:28of this, and I'll show you how to do
- 17:29this, is we're we're going to make sure
- 17:31that we're writing high-quality content
- 17:33that is answering these questions. And
- 17:35you need to answer them and write them
- 17:36in a way that's going to get you sized
- 17:39in the AI search engines. There's a
- 17:40specific technique, so you want to stick
- 17:42around for that, how to do that. But we
- 17:43first want to find all the questions.
- 17:45Okay. So, after a couple of minutes, if
- 17:46you look down, I've got all the
- 17:48questions and answers. You can see here
- 17:51that we've got a lot. I've got a total
- 17:53of 143 questions. Now, not all the
- 17:55questions are going to make sense for
- 17:57you to answer, but you do want to select
- 18:00the ones that do make sense. If you
- 18:01can't be bothered and you want, you
- 18:03know, the AI to figure out if these are
- 18:04the right ones to answer, you could just
- 18:06download the CSV and off you go, Bob's
- 18:07your uncle, place that into the GPT
- 18:09project. But I do want to go through
- 18:11them because it also might kind of make
- 18:13you understand the first type of content
- 18:16that you should write that you might
- 18:17have not thought of. So, I'm going to
- 18:18start selecting a couple here. EV
- 18:21charger at home, that makes sense.
- 18:23What's the price of installing? [music]
- 18:24Can a normal electrician install one?
- 18:26Great question to answer. Will it
- 18:28increase my bill? Probably.
- 18:30But you get the idea here. I'm going to
- 18:31go through a bunch of things here. Okay.
- 18:33So, most of these probably will make
- 18:36sense for me to answer, but I do
- 18:38recommend you go through it, right?
- 18:40[music] GPT's pretty good these days,
- 18:42but I wouldn't trust it blindly. So,
- 18:43again, I'm going to go back here and I'm
- 18:45going to place these here
- 18:47>> [music]
- 18:47>> and chuck them in there. So, now I've
- 18:48got the content. So, I've found the
- 18:50frequently asked questions from a search
- 18:52perspective. There's a second type of
- 18:55informational keyword, and this is very
- 18:56new or new related to AI search. So, we
- 18:59just found the people also ask. The next
- 19:01thing that we need to find, the type of
- 19:02informational keywords, and this I would
- 19:04kind of really much put in the category
- 19:06of only GEO, generative engine
- 19:08optimization, is fan out queries. What
- 19:10are these? They're very similar to
- 19:12people also ask, but they're actually
- 19:14questions that the AI search engines ask
- 19:17themselves internally. [music] So, what
- 19:18happens when you ask chat GPT or Google
- 19:22AI mode, "Should I install an EV charger
- 19:24at home?" It doesn't just grab that
- 19:26question and say, "Cool. No problems.
- 19:28Leave it with me. I'll do research on
- 19:30that." Depending on the complexity of
- 19:31the question, it actually asks itself
- 19:33subsequent related questions. So, it
- 19:35might ask itself, "Well, EV charger
- 19:37installation costs? Do I need a permit?
- 19:39Do I have an installed any of me?" So,
- 19:41it asks all these questions, does
- 19:42research on those subsequent
- 19:44>> [music]
- 19:45>> fan out queries that we can't see unless
- 19:47we've got things like Datawise, so that
- 19:48it does research on all of these
- 19:49questions so that it can come back and
- 19:51give you a very well thought out and
- 19:54synthesized kind of answer. The trick
- 19:57here for us from a GEO perspective is to
- 19:59know what these fan out queries are so
- 20:02we can answer them in our content.
- 20:04[music] Now, I want to say that a lot of
- 20:06these are probably going to overlap with
- 20:08the PPA, the people also ask questions,
- 20:11but regardless, we need to find them. So
- 20:12again, we're going to go back to
- 20:14Datawise and with the EV charger
- 20:16installation, we're going to go to fan
- 20:17out queries and I'm going to place it in
- 20:19here. You'll see here that this data, at
- 20:21the moment because it's relatively new,
- 20:23is only really available for queries
- 20:25within the United States and for English
- 20:27only. Now, this is going to change. It's
- 20:29the only data I can get access to, but
- 20:31for now, even if you're in Australia or
- 20:33the UK, I still recommend doing it
- 20:35because you can kind of preempt the
- 20:37questions that the AI search engines are
- 20:39asking themselves in that part of the
- 20:41world regardless. Obviously, if you're
- 20:42speaking Spanish or another language,
- 20:44I'm sorry. As soon as I can get that the
- 20:46fan out queries for your language, I'll
- 20:48I'll get them. But you want to do the
- 20:49same kind of research here. So, we see
- 20:51here the seed keyword EV charger
- 20:53installation actually gives a lot of fan
- 20:55out queries, right? The total queries of
- 20:57195, the volume, the sorry, the AI
- 21:01volume, the total volume. And you can
- 21:03see for each one of these queries, the
- 21:05kind of trend and the volume. We can see
- 21:08that a lot of these are going to change
- 21:10quite substantially and some of them
- 21:12really won't make sense. So, here for
- 21:14example, B2B electric services, what
- 21:16does B2B electric provide? Right? I
- 21:18don't know why that's there, so we're
- 21:20probably not going to have to use that
- 21:21one. So, again, in this instance,
- 21:23particularly for fan out queries, I'd
- 21:24recommend [music]
- 21:25you really go through the ones that make
- 21:26sense. Click on these ones. Obviously, a
- 21:29lot of people are asking whether it's
- 21:30going to be tax credit for EV, but
- 21:32anyway, I'm going to download the whole
- 21:33thing though because I don't want to
- 21:35make this tutorial 16 hours long. I'm
- 21:37going to place that data again within my
- 21:39project here. So,
- 21:41that's it, right? I don't like to
- 21:42complicate keyword research. We've got
- 21:44everything we need. We're going to let
- 21:45the AI do the hard parts for you. Don't
- 21:48trust it blindly, but already we're kind
- 21:50of doing everything. You do that same
- 21:52sequence, informational, people also
- 21:54ask, and fan out queries for all your
- 21:56services. So, then we're finding the
- 21:58transactional keywords and the
- 21:59informational keywords for all your
- 22:01services. [music]
- 22:01Next section is competitor analysis. I
- 22:04think a lot of people kind of shiver at
- 22:05this. They don't like to do it, but your
- 22:07competitors already spent years trying
- 22:09to figure out what is working. So, by
- 22:12doing this, we want to not reinvent the
- 22:14wheel, we just want to make it spin
- 22:16faster. And I think it's a nice little
- 22:18segue from keyword research because it
- 22:19might uncover other keywords that we
- 22:22perhaps might have missed by doing this
- 22:24traditional keyword research, but just
- 22:25seeing what they're ranking for. And
- 22:27it's very, very easy to do. But
- 22:29obviously, competitor analysis should go
- 22:31deeper than just finding out what they
- 22:33rank for because we also want to know
- 22:35not only what the keywords that are they
- 22:37are ranking for, but which one of the
- 22:38pages are winning, so we might be able
- 22:40to, you know, replicate it or do it
- 22:41better, what their site map looks like,
- 22:43essentially, how [music] many pages do
- 22:45they have, so therefore, how many pages
- 22:46we need to have as like a base
- 22:49structure, and also their backlinking
- 22:51profile. Backlinking is a, you know,
- 22:53massive topic here. You just want to
- 22:54understand what it looks like and is it
- 22:56going to be completely impossible to
- 22:58outrank them for the main keywords due
- 23:00to their amount of backlinks. So, these
- 23:02are the four things that I like to keep
- 23:04simple when it comes to competitor
- 23:05analysis as well. So, what are they
- 23:07ranking for? So, you want to search for
- 23:09the main keyword that you dizzy you want
- 23:11to try and rank for. It's ideally a good
- 23:13idea to do this with all these services,
- 23:16but you'll find that if one competitor
- 23:18is ranking for one keyword, they're
- 23:19probably ranking for all of them. Now,
- 23:21I'm not in Dallas, [music] Texas, so if
- 23:23you do this search along, you're going
- 23:24to get a vastly different result, and I
- 23:26recommend you do it not only on your
- 23:27Google browser, search for the keyword,
- 23:30but you also want to use the tool that
- 23:31that you're using to see who's ranking
- 23:33the highest for that. But, I'm going to
- 23:34choose a couple here that are clearly
- 23:35ranking number one. Don't choose the
- 23:37sponsored results. Obviously, they're
- 23:38paying for that. [music] I'm going to
- 23:39choose Dallas. I'm going to choose
- 23:41electric installation in rather, and
- 23:44Reddit is going to be pretty impossible
- 23:46here
- 23:47to outrank. So, I'm going to do these
- 23:49three here. It's also not a bad idea to
- 23:52use ChatGPT, get out of the folder that
- 23:55you created for this project, and just
- 23:57do things like find me a EV charger
- 24:00installation in Dallas, Texas.
- 24:03Please. Um
- 24:04and you should trigger Yeah, the search
- 24:06component. Perfect.
- 24:08>> [music]
- 24:08>> And you want to see here, well, who's
- 24:10getting cited here?
- 24:13Um perfect, and why? All right,
- 24:15fantastic. So, with that little bit of
- 24:17research, you might want to pick one or
- 24:18two here.
- 24:20You can get a lot more scientific about
- 24:22this, but Okay, that's clearly built
- 24:24with AI. Cool. Perfect here.
- 24:26Uh great. So, now what do we want to do?
- 24:29Again, using Data wise or whichever AI
- 24:31tool you've chosen to go with this time,
- 24:33there is a There should be in all the
- 24:35other SEO tools as well, a bit of a
- 24:37competitor tab. [music] This one allows
- 24:39me to know really quickly what's going
- 24:42on from a bird's-eye perspective. So,
- 24:43let me show you. You can add up to uh
- 24:45five competitors here. So, I'm going to
- 24:47add all of them here, the ones that we
- 24:49picked. You add them here. [music] I've
- 24:51got all the domains here. Uh you want
- 24:53the root domain because the reason why
- 24:56they might be ranking for that specific
- 24:57keyword is that they're also, you know,
- 24:59ranking for many other keywords.
- 25:01Therefore, they're quite a big of an
- 25:02authority figure. Location United
- 25:04States, language English. I'm going to
- 25:05compare domains. That's going to take a
- 25:07while, particularly with five domains.
- 25:09So, really interesting data when we
- 25:11compare these, we get a bit of a
- 25:12competitive profile, you know, who's got
- 25:14the most keywords, how many of those
- 25:16keywords are in the top 100, value, how
- 25:19many of those keywords they're ranking
- 25:20for are very expensive in terms of a
- 25:22cost per click, so on and so forth. The
- 25:24main thing that I want to find here is
- 25:26who's got the most keywords, because
- 25:28that will allow me to find the most
- 25:29interesting data from this. All right?
- 25:32And I see here right away, okay, cool.
- 25:34Uh
- 25:35probably Cool Wall 3 has, let's see,
- 25:39total keywords 1,800.
- 25:41Mhm, the estimated organic traffic is
- 25:43the most, so I'm going to pick this guy
- 25:45to do a little bit more extensive search
- 25:47here. So, Cool Wall 3. Perfect. Now that
- 25:52we know which one has the most ranking
- 25:54keywords, let's go to number one and
- 25:56find what exactly are the keywords they
- 25:58are ranking for. I'm going to go to
- 26:00ranked keywords. I've got that
- 26:01competitor selected there. I'm going to
- 26:03change the location here to United
- 26:04States again. I've [music] got it saved
- 26:06in Australia. English, 500 keywords, and
- 26:09let's find the keywords. And this starts
- 26:12kind of painting a really interesting
- 26:13story. So, they're Electric Circuit
- 26:15House, they're positi- positioned at
- 26:17number one for many keywords. But if you
- 26:19quickly look at those URLs, you see that
- 26:21they're blog posts.
- 26:23Okay, interesting. So, clearly blogs is
- 26:26still working for them. They've got some
- 26:28location pages, [music] so Rock Wall.
- 26:31Great, that might be a necessity for
- 26:33part of our strategy. They're also
- 26:35ranking for reviews, but for the most
- 26:37part, okay, more blogs, the homepage,
- 26:40more blogs. So, what I see here is
- 26:42really a lot of blog posts. We'll take a
- 26:45look at one of them and see if it's any
- 26:46good, and then the location pages. So, I
- 26:48already start seeing, okay, well, I need
- 26:51to formulate as part of my strategy the
- 26:53fact that I'm going to need content.
- 26:54It's working for them. I want to take a
- 26:56bit of a slice of that pie.
- 26:58And I'm probably going to need um
- 27:00location dedicated pages cuz it's
- 27:02clearly working for them. Cool. Okay,
- 27:04let's see if I find something that
- 27:06really doesn't make sense that I
- 27:07wouldn't have kind of seen here.
- 27:10Beginner's guide to
- 27:11what is House of Voltage? Okay, that
- 27:14probably makes sense for me to write a
- 27:15blog post about that if I'm a business
- 27:17that helps uh you know, install your EV.
- 27:20Not all of these are going to make sense
- 27:21for you to answer, so I would kind of
- 27:22choose the ones here that really make
- 27:24sense. So, I'm going to choose one or
- 27:26two blog posts. I'm going to choose
- 27:28definitely the rock wall or the location
- 27:30stuff that you know, that really works
- 27:31for them. Here, we've got another one,
- 27:33Greenville, Texas.
- 27:39I just zoomed out a little bit here to
- 27:40see everything. Um I need to fix that
- 27:42UI, but uh to zoom out, you can press
- 27:44command um minus and and you'll be able
- 27:47to see all this, but I'm going to pick
- 27:48the ones
- 27:49that I think make sense for me to kind
- 27:50of focus on. And I'm going to um export
- 27:54as a CSV.
- 27:56And I'm going to label this uh
- 27:59the right things here. So, just to keep
- 28:02things organized and to give some
- 28:04context to the GPT project, I'm going to
- 28:06go competitor. I'm going to put the name
- 28:08of the competitor, rank keywords.
- 28:10Perfect, that's a little bit better. So,
- 28:12now if I throw that into GPT, it'll have
- 28:14some context about that. There wasn't
- 28:16too many there that um
- 28:19I want to focus on cuz not everything
- 28:21makes sense there, but I already know
- 28:22that I need to whoop, hang on, that's
- 28:24the wrong place. In the sources, need to
- 28:26place a little bit of that. Okay, so
- 28:28since that's the competitor that's got
- 28:30the most amount of keywords, we know
- 28:32which page is a win for them. So, it's
- 28:33blog posts and it's these location
- 28:35pages. That one thing that isn't working
- 28:37for them is actually ranking for the
- 28:38specific service, so that already starts
- 28:40formulating a bit of a strategy for me.
- 28:42What does this site map look like?
- 28:44>> [music]
- 28:44>> To get a site map is very easy. On the
- 28:46URL, you know, that you go the domain
- 28:48name {forward slash} I'm going to go
- 28:49site map.xml.
- 28:52And for the most part, you should see
- 28:54it. Perfect. So, here we start seeing
- 28:57all of these site maps here. They've got
- 29:00Oh, okay, it's not very well structured,
- 29:02which for me is also really good thing.
- 29:05But, they've also got directly to air
- 29:07filtration. What I can do here is I can
- 29:10copy this entire thing. I can go to
- 29:12ChatGPT, even this. I can say paste all
- 29:16the data there. I can use this instant
- 29:18here.
- 29:19And I'm going to say
- 29:21this is the site map of a competitor
- 29:24who's ranking really well. What I want
- 29:25you to do is just tidy it up so we see
- 29:28all the transactional pages, the
- 29:30location pages, and uh the blog post.
- 29:33[music]
- 29:34The other WordPress uploads and stuff
- 29:35like that, I I don't want to see them,
- 29:36but I want that file as a CSV so I can
- 29:38see what is working. And then I can turn
- 29:40that into a bit of a structure. Again,
- 29:42I'll you know, you see that I'm a little
- 29:43bit malleable at doing this. There There
- 29:46isn't an exact kind of checklist that
- 29:48I'm following for this because it'll
- 29:49change [music] depending on I think
- 29:51it'll change depending on the competitor
- 29:53and and you know, what the entire
- 29:55landscape looks like.
- 29:57Okay, GPT is insanely quick at this.
- 29:59Let's have a look. Cool. So, they've got
- 30:01transactional page. They've got the slug
- 30:04here
- 30:05>> [music]
- 30:05>> and the URL.
- 30:06This is quite good for us. So, they've
- 30:09got here
- 30:11Oh.
- 30:12So many services pages, so many location
- 30:15pages. So, now I know that okay, and now
- 30:18I need all these location pages. I can
- 30:21probably do them better than they
- 30:22[music] have. But, that's part of the
- 30:24strategy that we kind of have to use.
- 30:26They've got so many services here.
- 30:27They've got all these blog posts, so
- 30:29much content. So, it already starts
- 30:31giving you an understanding of how much
- 30:32work this is going to require. Um you
- 30:35know, not scary, but it kind of you
- 30:37know, leaves things a little bit more
- 30:38transparent. Okay, so we've done their
- 30:41site map now. So, we understand the
- 30:42structure that we need to create in
- 30:44order to stay competitive. What about
- 30:46their backlinking profile? Again, let's
- 30:49go to Datawise. I'm going to click on
- 30:51the competitor, make sure I've got it to
- 30:53my clipboard. I'm going to go the
- 30:54backlinks tab, and I'm going to just
- 30:56have a quick squeeze into how many
- 30:59backlinks they have. Okay, a bit of an
- 31:02opportunity here. There's a lot of
- 31:03broken links. I've got a total of 1,100
- 31:06backlinks and 373 referring domains.
- 31:09Okay, the backlinks here, how strong are
- 31:13they? See, yeah, okay. So, here this
- 31:15number of rank, um, will be from 0 to
- 31:191,000, 1,000 being very strong. So, look
- 31:21at what they've done here. This going to
- 31:22give us an understanding of what we need
- 31:24to do from the backlinking section. BBB,
- 31:27so this is the business profile, Better
- 31:29Business Bureau. Okay, I could probably
- 31:31create an account there. Yellow Pages,
- 31:33so they've clearly done really good
- 31:35local citations, which we'll get into.
- 31:36They've got a link from school.
- 31:39Interesting. So, they might be running
- 31:40this as a, I don't know, education
- 31:42perspective. Dallas News, okay, they're
- 31:44probably paying for some links here as
- 31:47well. So, they have
- 31:50>> [music]
- 31:50>> a really good backlinking profile as
- 31:52well, which we'll probably need to look
- 31:55into a little bit more into detail if
- 31:58you want to stay competitive. So, I'm
- 31:59not to say that we need the same amount
- 32:01of backlinks, but if we can't outrank
- 32:02them just by [music] on-site SEO and
- 32:04content later down the line, then we
- 32:06need to know, well, okay, we know they
- 32:07have a lot of backlinks. We probably
- 32:08need to concentrate on that. Not right
- 32:10away, but I do need the basics of the
- 32:12backlinks when I start. We'll get into
- 32:14that in a second. That's all I wanted to
- 32:15do, just have an understanding of how
- 32:16many they have. The main thing here that
- 32:18you want to look at is the referring
- 32:20domains
- 32:21and the [music] spam score. If the spam
- 32:23score's really high, that's a really
- 32:24good thing, but their spam score isn't
- 32:27that high. They've got a lot of
- 32:28referring domains. Cool, I'll probably
- 32:30need to consider that later down the
- 32:31line. And I think all this is does is it
- 32:34it educates you for further down the
- 32:35line if you, for some reason cannot
- 32:38outrank these people, then you know in
- 32:40the back of your mind well, uh
- 32:42they did have really good backlinks.
- 32:43That's going to have to be something
- 32:44that we need to work on. Module four are
- 32:46going to be about the two types of pages
- 32:48that for the most part you will be
- 32:50building. We're going to talk about the
- 32:51money pages and the content page. The
- 32:54money pages here are things like your
- 32:56services pages. This won't be an
- 32:58e-commerce kind of video, so if you're
- 33:00looking for that, you can let me know in
- 33:01the in the comments below and I can make
- 33:03that, but for the moment it's going to
- 33:04be for for I transactional-based
- 33:06business or service-based business,
- 33:08apologies. So, with the money pages,
- 33:10which is the first half of this module,
- 33:12here there are a couple of things or
- 33:13four things to decide whether it's going
- 33:14to work or not. By the way, none of them
- 33:16is going to be a word count, so do not
- 33:17worry about how long the word needs to
- 33:19be. For some reason people obsess over
- 33:20that. So, here the one thing you need to
- 33:22understand and if if it's only one thing
- 33:25you take from this module, it is this.
- 33:28Please have one page per service. It is
- 33:31the number one mistake I see a lot of
- 33:33people make. They have one page for all
- 33:35the services and think, "Well, I'm just
- 33:36being efficient." No, you are not going
- 33:38to rank. That's what you're going to do.
- 33:40So, for example, when you're building
- 33:41this, think, "Okay, I need a hub service
- 33:43page and I need to then have a dedicated
- 33:45page for all of this." And this will
- 33:47change depending drastically on how many
- 33:49pages you think you need. You kind of
- 33:51should have an understanding of of that
- 33:53given the keyword research we did
- 33:55earlier. So, the four pages that are
- 33:57going to decide whether this page for
- 33:59the most part is going to do well is
- 34:01intent match. So, does the search intent
- 34:03of the user looking for that service, is
- 34:05that matched in the page? I'll explain
- 34:07this a little bit more in a second. One
- 34:09page, one main keyword in there. You
- 34:12need to have schema. We'll quickly touch
- 34:14on what schema is. It confuses a lot of
- 34:16people. And a conversion-friendly
- 34:18design. [music]
- 34:18With that, you really need to understand
- 34:20what I like to call the two-second rule,
- 34:23right? And I literally mean two seconds
- 34:25here. That within two seconds after
- 34:27somebody lands on this service page or
- 34:30this money page, I should know three
- 34:32things. What it is that you do,
- 34:35if it's a local based business, where it
- 34:37is that you do it, and number three is
- 34:39what you you want me to do next. What
- 34:41you want the person on your page to do.
- 34:43What's the action [clears throat] here?
- 34:44I know that seems very simple, but you'd
- 34:46be surprised how many people get this
- 34:48wrong. Don't get ambiguous. Don't get
- 34:49fancy with the copywriting. Be direct,
- 34:52right? Now, I understand that sometimes
- 34:54people want to be a little bit more
- 34:57creative with their wording. That's
- 34:59fine, but you can do that after, not
- 35:01first fold, which is the first thing we
- 35:03see when we land in there. Let me show
- 35:04you two examples here, right? Um the
- 35:07first example is one that I wouldn't
- 35:09recommend you do. This is for another
- 35:11business, but never mind. I just want to
- 35:13get the point across, right? So, this
- 35:15one you land on the page and you see
- 35:17this. You're spending the money, you
- 35:19just can't see what it's doing. I run a
- 35:20business for 7 years and sold it. Now, I
- 35:22build the thing every owner asks for and
- 35:24never gets. One honest view of what came
- 35:26in and what came out of and what it
- 35:28turned into. That's a lot of ambiguous.
- 35:30Like the
- 35:31It's a lot of wording without really
- 35:33telling me exactly what you do, right?
- 35:35As opposed to, if we're building this
- 35:37service page for professional EV charger
- 35:39installation in Austin, it says just
- 35:41that. Professional home EV charger
- 35:43installation in Austin, get a free
- 35:44quote. Within 2 seconds of landing, I
- 35:47see what it is. It's professional home
- 35:49EV charger installation and it's in
- 35:51Austin and then I do I get what next?
- 35:53What's a big button saying there, get a
- 35:55free quote. And if I had any kind of,
- 35:58you know, thoughts of what it is that I
- 36:00had, I've got an electric vehicle with a
- 36:02charger outside. Cool. I'm not going to
- 36:04get confused with that, right?
- 36:07I know that seems extremely simple, but
- 36:09trust me, people get so creative with
- 36:11this and they turn this into a tagline.
- 36:14Like, for example, I've seen within this
- 36:17type of business, people use things like
- 36:19powering tomorrow today or like charge
- 36:22direct from the sun. Things that sure
- 36:24sound good as a tagline, but further
- 36:26down the page, not in the homepage,
- 36:28where it really should be direct to the
- 36:30[music] point. I hope I'm clear about
- 36:32that. And the rest of what the page
- 36:33needs will differentiate a little bit in
- 36:36terms of, you know, the service, cuz it
- 36:38might not be a service, it might be
- 36:39something else. I do want to give you a
- 36:40bit of a checklist though. So, in the
- 36:42Google Sheet provided in the video
- 36:44description below, that's inside the
- 36:45free community by the way, you'll see a
- 36:48tab A4, which is the money page. So, it
- 36:50tells you all the things you need to
- 36:51consider, a checklist. So, above the
- 36:52fold, the fold means the thing we see
- 36:55when you land and you just scroll down.
- 36:56Does it pass the 2-second rule? Is the
- 36:58headline plain? Does the H1 state
- 37:00exactly what you do? Does it answer,
- 37:02"Can you do this for me? Can you install
- 37:04this EV in charger installation in my
- 37:06house?" Yes, I can. Is there a primary
- 37:07call to action above the first fold?
- 37:09Yes, there is. And then you can move
- 37:11into the body, ideally have, you know,
- 37:13real work, not stock photos, be specific
- 37:15about the prices if you can have them in
- 37:17there. And then we're getting to the
- 37:19schema and the technical components,
- 37:20some of the H1s and H2s, and so on and
- 37:23so forth. The design can change a lot,
- 37:26but as long as you have this checklist
- 37:28and you can, you know, check at least
- 37:3090% of all these things, then you should
- 37:32be good to go. How you build the page
- 37:35will change drastically between what CMS
- 37:38you have, whether it's Webflow,
- 37:40WordPress, whatever else. If you're
- 37:42building this website in Astro, I've
- 37:44done quite a few videos on how to build
- 37:46entire websites [music]
- 37:47with Claude code following these rules.
- 37:49I'll leave some linked below, but what I
- 37:51want to check you to take out of this
- 37:53page build for the transactional pages
- 37:55is just that. Keep it simple, but make
- 37:58sure you have these rules. If we have a
- 38:00look more at this page, there's a couple
- 38:02of other components here. When you can,
- 38:04this is a fake staging site by the way,
- 38:06when you can, have reviews, and ideally
- 38:09the reviews speak about this specific
- 38:11service if you have them. If not, any
- 38:13reviews will do. We get into how it
- 38:15works. You can have a bit more
- 38:17information on the page, and in these
- 38:18additional H1s, ideally you want some of
- 38:21those
- 38:22additional keywords, related [music] to
- 38:23keywords that we did search for. If you
- 38:26can, FAQs about the most frequently
- 38:28asked questions for this specific
- 38:31service. The number here doesn't really
- 38:32matter. Don't have more than five
- 38:34because you want to keep this page a
- 38:36transactional page. Don't fill it up
- 38:38with too much informational content. And
- 38:41yeah, the rest can, you know, be at your
- 38:43discretion in terms of how you want to
- 38:44design this. I don't really want to go
- 38:46into these specific details because that
- 38:49design needs to change from website to
- 38:51website. I don't want to give you some
- 38:52kind of templates so everyone copies the
- 38:53same thing. But what I do want you to
- 38:55get out of it is that checklist there.
- 38:57Specifically, the first fold. Get
- 38:59specific with the keywords. [music]
- 39:00Don't get fancy. And if we look here,
- 39:02this is a free Chrome application that
- 39:04you can install called SEO Wallet. I'll
- 39:06leave a link for this below. You see
- 39:08here that the title tag as well is home
- 39:11EV charger installation and planning in
- 39:12Austin, Texas. I've got the meta
- 39:14description here. The H1s. You need one
- 39:17H1 per page. The rest can be H2s, H3s,
- 39:20H4s, and whatever. And if I have a look
- 39:22at the structured data here for this
- 39:24page, the most important structured data
- 39:27is the service schema. It's going to do
- 39:29a bunch of things, but it The schema is
- 39:31essentially a tiny bit of code that
- 39:33tells the search engines instantly and
- 39:34exactly what it is that you have on your
- 39:36page. It's not to say you won't rank
- 39:38without schema, but you're definitely
- 39:39not doing yourself any [music] favors.
- 39:42All right? Most plugins, premium plugins
- 39:44like SEO Yoast or, sorry, Yoast or SEO
- 39:47Math or SEO Rank, I think I think
- 39:49[music] I'll leave a couple of plugins
- 39:50below should do a fairly good job at
- 39:53placing the right schema, but you need
- 39:55to validate it and make sure it's okay.
- 39:57And if you're looking for feedback on
- 39:59your design page and how it's looking,
- 40:02and you want somebody to have a look at
- 40:04it before, these are the types of things
- 40:06that we do inside our premium community.
- 40:08We have a section called find the fix
- 40:10where you can leave your website
- 40:11commented as a lot of people have done
- 40:13here. And then you will get a dedicated
- 40:15a of me going through the website, not
- 40:17only from a design perspective, from an
- 40:18SEO perspective. And you can submit it
- 40:20as many times as you want. I'll leave a
- 40:21link to the premium community there
- 40:23below. Again, you obviously don't need
- 40:25it, but it's nice to have, you know,
- 40:27many eyes looking at a page because we
- 40:29might just miss something because we
- 40:31look at it too much. But these are the
- 40:32main things that I want you to get
- 40:33across when it comes to a money page,
- 40:36right? Make sure you kind of walk
- 40:38through this list as you're building
- 40:40one. The beautiful thing here is that
- 40:42you just need to get one of these
- 40:43services pages right. Because then you
- 40:45just copy that template and obviously
- 40:47change the content across.
- 40:49>> [music]
- 40:49>> Um so it's not a direct copy and paste
- 40:51to the other services pages. Okay, let's
- 40:54move on to the second part of module
- 40:56four. The page type is the content page,
- 40:59right? The informational content.
- 41:01Essentially blog post, article pages,
- 41:03anything like that. So, [music] content
- 41:05that gets you cited. Now, I've done many
- 41:07videos about this. Um if you want to a
- 41:09deeper dive as well in this or something
- 41:11that you can watch that is a little bit
- 41:12different, explains it from another
- 41:13angle in our free community in the AI
- 41:16Ranking King Starter, there's a uh
- 41:18lesson six write content that the AI
- 41:20loves. It works a treat if you just
- 41:21follow that, but I still want to go
- 41:23through the fundamentals here in this
- 41:24video. There's a certain shape or a
- 41:26writing style that has been proven by
- 41:29many people, not only us, but it's also
- 41:31part of a um a study, a peer-review
- 41:34study that shows the content capsule
- 41:37technique allows you the highest
- 41:39opportunity to get cited and mentioned
- 41:41in the AI search engine. So, let's
- 41:43understand what this content capsule
- 41:45technique is because I feel that if you
- 41:47understand the theory behind it, then
- 41:48you can create any prompts that you want
- 41:50that will write like this. And don't
- 41:51worry, I'm going to give you a prompt
- 41:52that will help you do this anyway. The
- 41:54definition here is a short,
- 41:55self-contained answer sitting directly
- 41:58under a question, right? So, when I'm
- 42:01reading a content or a blog post, if I
- 42:03read a heading or subheading and then I
- 42:06read [music] the paragraph right under
- 42:08it, that section should make sense by
- 42:09itself. For example, if I'm reading a
- 42:12blog post and part of the blog post I
- 42:13have a question saying, "How much does
- 42:15it cost to install an EV charger at
- 42:16home?" A level two home EV charger costs
- 42:19800 to between 800 to $2,000 installed
- 42:22including labor
- 42:23>> [music]
- 42:23>> and the permit. I answer that question
- 42:25right away. Not, "Well, in the
- 42:27ever-evolving world of EV chargers." No,
- 42:29no, no. Get straight to it. What this
- 42:31does that it makes it a lot more simple
- 42:33for the AI search engines to crawl your
- 42:36website to see if you've got the answer
- 42:38and just kind of copy that section,
- 42:40right? So, how many then I get the
- 42:42question, "Well, is the whole blog post
- 42:44just now questions that I'm answering?"
- 42:45Not really. You can get a little bit,
- 42:47you know, you have a little bit of
- 42:49freedom with that, but you want to round
- 42:5160 to 70% of the content to be written
- 42:54in this content capsule technique,
- 42:55right? So, I might have a couple of
- 42:57questions here. How much does it cost?
- 42:58Do I need a permit? Level one, level
- 42:59two.
- 43:00Here's our process. That one is That
- 43:02wasn't a content capsule technique. And
- 43:04then a little bit more questions here.
- 43:06[music] You need to answer it
- 43:07immediately under the heading. That's
- 43:09what makes it easy for the AI search
- 43:11engines to just grab and paste
- 43:12essentially. You want to keep that
- 43:14capsule around 20 to 25 words. Look, if
- 43:17you go over 50 words, that's fine as
- 43:19long as you're still answering that
- 43:20question in detail. You don't want to
- 43:22put links inside that specific section.
- 43:25However, you do want to cite wherever
- 43:28[music] you're stating information. So,
- 43:30whenever you're making a statement,
- 43:32particularly a statement that has any
- 43:33numbers, you need to demonstrate where
- 43:36you got that information by linking to
- 43:38that contextual keyword to the source
- 43:40where you got it from. This is just as
- 43:43important as writing good content. And
- 43:44people tell me, "Well, I don't want to
- 43:45link to other pages because then the
- 43:48person won't come back." [music] If a
- 43:49person doesn't come back to your website
- 43:51simply because they're checking out the
- 43:52source, there's a very big problem with
- 43:54your content, not the fact that you
- 43:55cited to the source. Siting sources is
- 43:58very important. It makes it a lot more
- 43:59trustworthy, and this is really
- 44:01important in the AI search engines. And
- 44:02possibly more important over that is if
- 44:05you can add your experience, right?
- 44:08That's the one thing that the AI search
- 44:09engines can't quite replicate, not yet
- 44:12anyway. Your experience. An experience
- 44:14doesn't mean that you have to been doing
- 44:17something for over 10 years and you have
- 44:18a lot of experience in it. No, your
- 44:20experience can be I did X and I got this
- 44:23result. Don't do that or do that cuz it
- 44:26was a good outcome, right? But it needs
- 44:27to be your experience. So, obviously, uh
- 44:30I've got a checklist for you here. If
- 44:33you go to the tab for B, there's a come
- 44:35capsule technique.
- 44:36The structure, the sourcing,
- 44:39the coverage, the on-page, and the
- 44:41things to avoid. You'll get into a bit
- 44:43of a rhythm. I find that once you do,
- 44:45you know, three or four blogs like this,
- 44:47then you'll keep this in mind. But
- 44:49obviously, I want to make things very
- 44:50easy for you here. And if you click on
- 44:53the prompt here,
- 44:54here is the prompt from our AI search
- 44:56Kickstarter. By the way, this is the
- 44:58same prompt that you get in our free
- 45:00community, by the way. It's this guy
- 45:01here. Uh and yes, I'm reusing it because
- 45:04it's really good. So, what you got to do
- 45:05here in the prompt is copy all this
- 45:08thing here. You can use Claude, you can
- 45:10use ChatGPT, it doesn't really matter.
- 45:12You want to uh go to let's use ChatGPT
- 45:15for this. I'm going to get out of this.
- 45:17I'm going to uh use the EBSA thing. I'm
- 45:21going to paste it in here. Now, I need
- 45:23the topic, your audience, and the goals.
- 45:25So, the topic here, well, we've already
- 45:26done keyword research previously. We can
- 45:29go back to Datawise and you should have
- 45:31it here in the content section in the
- 45:33planner, right? [music]
- 45:35You've got a lot of clusters here.
- 45:37We should have a lot of informational
- 45:38keywords that we saved before.
- 45:39>> [music]
- 45:40>> We can even do it again, right? So, if I
- 45:41go to keyword research and I go to
- 45:43people also ask, I've got some of the
- 45:45spin-out queries here. I've done it a
- 45:47little bit easier where you can have a
- 45:48bit of a content map within Datawise.
- 45:50So, I can see here, well, this might
- 45:52make a really good entire blog post.
- 45:56Meaning that this is the main topic of
- 45:59the blog post and these are subheadings
- 46:00that we want to answer. So, going to
- 46:02copy these things here to show you that
- 46:04you know, it doesn't have to be perfect.
- 46:06I'm going to go back to Chat GPT and I'm
- 46:09going to paste this in here and I'm
- 46:12going to go here. Uh whoops, sorry.
- 46:14>> [music]
- 46:14>> That's the wrong place. Paste this in
- 46:15here in the topic. And then in the
- 46:18audience, I'm going to say home owners
- 46:21in Dallas, Texas that have just
- 46:23purchased their electric vehicle. If you
- 46:25really know your audience, the more
- 46:27information you can provide provide
- 46:28there the better. I'm going to put this
- 46:30in medium. I don't have to, but I got
- 46:32access to it, so why not? And I'm going
- 46:34to hit enter. This isn't right away
- 46:36going to actually write the content.
- 46:38It's going to ask you a lot of questions
- 46:40here. Now, the output here will look and
- 46:42it should look vastly different for you
- 46:44depending on the information you have on
- 46:46that project and depending on, you know,
- 46:47what it is that we're writing about. It
- 46:49did find some pages that are ranking
- 46:51really well for that term and most
- 46:53importantly, it found me some good
- 46:54sources to cite and the citing sources
- 46:57for the most part are high-quality
- 46:59sources. [music] How do I know? Because
- 47:01most of them are government websites.
- 47:03This is going to change a lot depending
- 47:04on what you're writing about because
- 47:06there's a lot of information about
- 47:07electric vehicle and the rebates that
- 47:09the government gives you, well, then,
- 47:11you know, we're citing a lot of
- 47:12high-quality sources here. It's even
- 47:14given me like, cool, let's change this
- 47:16little bit and let's go a Dallas EV
- 47:18charging cost guide. Okay.
- 47:21And then it's going to go phase two,
- 47:22structure and personal experience
- 47:24placement. [music]
- 47:25So, here it's giving you a structure and
- 47:27the links to, you know, the whole
- 47:29structure of the blog post here and it
- 47:31should ask me, it's giving me a table as
- 47:33well, which is good. You want to
- 47:34differentiate the content a little bit
- 47:35in terms of table, images, and whatnot.
- 47:37I'm going to show you even a really cool
- 47:39free tool that will help you add some
- 47:42illustrations very easily here. Okay.
- 47:44Now, I'll get a bit of a structure back.
- 47:45Now, sometimes, depending on the model,
- 47:47it will kind of be a little bit more
- 47:49proactive and give you a massive amount
- 47:51of questions. I would try to limit them
- 47:53if it you think it's too long, right?
- 47:54And then here I've got the structure
- 47:55that I'm happy with. It gives me, you
- 47:57know, the what's going to be the
- 47:59headings, what's going to be the capsule
- 48:01very briefly, and then, you know, a
- 48:03table or two here. That is looking okay,
- 48:06and an FAQ section at the bottom, and
- 48:08then I can say, "Okay. Okay, give me the
- 48:10first draft."
- 48:13And hit enter. Ideally, the more
- 48:14information you have about this, the
- 48:16more you want to place in there. Like,
- 48:18"Hey, sometimes when we install Tesla
- 48:19chargers, we find X problem." [music]
- 48:21Like, the more information you can place
- 48:23in there that isn't readily available is
- 48:26the better. Okay. Now, I have a our
- 48:28first draft. What I'm liking ChatGPT
- 48:30lately is I personally really like this
- 48:33what used to be called canvas feature. I
- 48:34don't think they call it canvas anymore,
- 48:35but I can edit the blog right here,
- 48:37right? And I can tell it what to change,
- 48:40but I can also open it up, and I can
- 48:42change it manually. So, you know, here
- 48:45is the example, right? I I just really
- 48:47like that. I think it's a much more
- 48:48collaborative effort back and forth with
- 48:50GPT to write content. Here's something
- 48:52really important as well. It tells you
- 48:54the internal link. Now, because this
- 48:55wasn't a real website, it doesn't have
- 48:57that internal link, but you can place it
- 48:59in there now.
- 49:01And let's see if it did a couple of
- 49:02things. One, if it's writing in the
- 49:03content capsule technique, the one we
- 49:05just talked about, and is it linking to
- 49:07the sources here? So, here, "How much
- 49:09does it cost to install an EV charger in
- 49:11Dallas, Texas?" Most Dallas homeowners
- 49:12should budget $1 to $3,000 for standard
- 49:14level two home charging installation.
- 49:16Cool. I just answered that question, or
- 49:17really, GPT just answered that question
- 49:19right away.
- 49:20I even have a nice table. Cool. And
- 49:22then, what we need to look for as well
- 49:23is that it should have cited whenever
- 49:25it's
- 49:26got some information in here.
- 49:27And look at this. Even here, the city of
- 49:29Dallas permit guidance. Cool. Let's have
- 49:32a look at this link. If I open it, there
- 49:34is the permit guide from the city of
- 49:36Dallas. So, I'm citing high-quality
- 49:38sources [music]
- 49:39to ensure that I'm trustworthy. There's
- 49:41another one there again, cuz I made a
- 49:43statement, right?
- 49:44There's a bunch there again, so it's
- 49:46making sure that it's citing everything
- 49:47correctly. So, is this ready to go right
- 49:50away? Nah, probably not. You want to go
- 49:52through it and, you know, tell it, "Hey,
- 49:55I think in this section we should inject
- 49:56this experience that I've had when
- 49:58installing this or, in fact, when you
- 50:00apply for this from the, uh, you know,
- 50:02the state government of Dallas, it's not
- 50:04that easy because X, Y, and Z." Like,
- 50:05that is where you need to put your
- 50:06experience.
- 50:08Once you're happy though, you can copy
- 50:09it and we can go, you know, to something
- 50:10like WordPress, we can paste the whole
- 50:12thing. And you see that it's formatted
- 50:14correctly for the most part. I just got
- 50:15to put this guy as the title and make
- 50:17sure that I don't duplicate this here.
- 50:19Sorry. So, is this ready to go? Well, it
- 50:22could be, right? But what else could we
- 50:24add in here? Let's see. If I want to
- 50:28make this pop out a little bit more,
- 50:31what I could do in this section here,
- 50:33how much will an EV increase my bill
- 50:35here? Let's place this section here. I'm
- 50:38going to grab that piece of content.
- 50:40It'd be nice if I could add some sort of
- 50:42illustration there, but I'm not a
- 50:43designer with any stretch of the
- 50:45imagination, but there's a free app
- 50:46called Napkin. Or at least the free
- 50:48version is more than enough to do a fair
- 50:50bit of work.
- 50:51I'm not affiliated with them, by the
- 50:52way. I just genuinely really like the
- 50:54app. And you can do this with an image
- 50:56from, um, ChatGPT as well, but I kind of
- 50:59like the visual that this gives you. So,
- 51:00you're going to make a free account.
- 51:02We're going to go to, um, create by
- 51:04pasting text and going to paste the
- 51:06[music] text that I just copied from the
- 51:07blog post. I want to make sure that I've
- 51:09selected the whole thing here and then
- 51:11I'm going to click on this button here,
- 51:12generate visuals. It's going to go
- 51:14through everything a little bit and what
- 51:15it's going to do is it's going to create
- 51:17an illustration that's going to help you
- 51:19make the point across that you're trying
- 51:20to make. So, right away, it's giving me,
- 51:22uh, a couple of recommendations here and
- 51:24I can change it if I don't like that
- 51:25visual, right? It's given me a bit more
- 51:28understanding here. Cool. So, this isn't
- 51:30a bad one, reducing EV charging costs.
- 51:33You can then pick the styling, uh, to
- 51:35fit the website here, so I can find this
- 51:38one that's a little bit more colorful.
- 51:39You can edit this if you want, so I can
- 51:41kind of, let's get, you know, rid of
- 51:43that one maybe if I want to. And then I
- 51:45can download the whole thing. I can
- 51:46export as a PNG. Now, I'm not going to
- 51:49do a section about image SEO in this
- 51:51tutorial. If you want that, there's some
- 51:53in the free community. I just don't want
- 51:55to make this video again like 16 hours
- 51:57long. But whenever you're adding images,
- 51:59for example, to that fake WordPress
- 52:01website that we've got, make sure you
- 52:02don't add a PNG. And by default, that's
- 52:04what Napkin and even most AI image
- 52:07generators give you. And you don't want
- 52:09that. That's going to be a heavy image,
- 52:10meaning your website's going to load
- 52:11slow. We'll get more into on-page
- 52:13optimization in a second. But I want to
- 52:15use a free tool here. I want to go PNG
- 52:18to WebP converter. WebP is a file format
- 52:21that's nice and light, and it's not
- 52:22going to reduce the actual quality of
- 52:23the image. That I'm going to convert
- 52:25that here, and already it's going to
- 52:27save a lot. Great. Now I've got my
- 52:29optimized image.
- 52:31And now here, in that section where it
- 52:33makes sense for me to do so, I can add
- 52:35an image block [music] here, and I can
- 52:37just drag the WebP file in there. There
- 52:40you go. Now already the blog post is
- 52:42going to look with a look a little bit
- 52:43of different. It's not just heavy text.
- 52:45And this does matter from an AI search
- 52:47perspective [music] as well. It also
- 52:49gives you the possibility to rank just
- 52:50from an image SEO perspective. So you
- 52:52can do that once or twice throughout the
- 52:53blog post. Don't go crazy. Don't make it
- 52:55look like it's just illustrations.
- 52:56[music]
- 52:57But already, I'm making this look quite
- 52:59good. Finally, with your blog post, so
- 53:01make sure you have the internal linking
- 53:03to the other correct sections of your
- 53:04website. But if you've got um SEO Yoast
- 53:07or any other of these SEO applications,
- 53:09SEO plugin, sorry, that you should
- 53:12install on your website, although it's
- 53:13not completely necessary, you should see
- 53:15this section here where you need the
- 53:18title tag and the meta description. Now,
- 53:20because GPT has already done most of the
- 53:22work here, we can say
- 53:25if it hasn't already done it. No, it
- 53:26hasn't. I'm going to say,
- 53:28>> [music]
- 53:28>> "Can you please give me the meta
- 53:29description for this blog post? Make it
- 53:32less than 150 characters in length."
- 53:34And the meta description isn't going to
- 53:36make an enormous difference, but it can
- 53:39do it can increase the click-through
- 53:41rate of that blog post. So, it's going
- 53:43to give me here. Perfect. That's
- 53:45fantastic. I'm going to paste that in
- 53:47the meta description. And the title, I
- 53:49know that it's going to be good as long
- 53:50as it sees that and it's got the main
- 53:52keywords in there. Perfect. [music]
- 53:53I can publish that. That's already good
- 53:56to go. Okay. The next thing is going to
- 53:58be about building the website. Now, I
- 54:00want to set your expectations here. I'm
- 54:02not going to go through an entire
- 54:03tutorial on how to build a whole
- 54:05website. I've done hundreds of tutorials
- 54:07of that. I'll leave a couple of link
- 54:09below. But, what I do want to go through
- 54:11is undoubtedly the most important part
- 54:14about the website build. So, I don't It
- 54:16doesn't matter if you build the website
- 54:18with WordPress, Webflow, Wix, whatever,
- 54:21even Astro, please do not miss this.
- 54:24Right? I hope I made myself clear.
- 54:27And that is planning the whole website
- 54:28before it's built. Most people build a
- 54:30website and they go, "You know what?
- 54:31I'll start building it and then I'll
- 54:33just kind of think of the structure as I
- 54:34go. I'll double a couple of pages." They
- 54:36just kind of go straight into it.
- 54:37>> [music]
- 54:37>> Right? And it's a little bit like trying
- 54:39to make an incredible dish and not
- 54:41really getting your ingredients first.
- 54:43[music] This is going to be quite quick,
- 54:45but it's going to be extremely
- 54:47important. And the good thing here is
- 54:49that if you've done all the steps
- 54:50previously, this should be extremely
- 54:52easy because you've done all of the work
- 54:54already.
- 54:55We've done the keyword research, the
- 54:56competitor analysis, and the pages that
- 54:58you need to build. So, essentially, what
- 54:59we're going to get here is just a bit of
- 55:01a rough map of understanding how this
- 55:04page is going to look like, at least
- 55:05from a page [music] perspective. So, let
- 55:08me show you how to do this. It's very
- 55:09easy. And with the prompt that I'm going
- 55:11to give you, what you're going to get is
- 55:12a file that looks a little bit like
- 55:14this. Right? And I know people hate
- 55:17looking at CSV files and stuff like
- 55:19that. But, this is what you want. Now,
- 55:21let's explain this a little bit easy
- 55:23here.
- 55:23>> [music]
- 55:23>> So, this is the URL, the services.
- 55:25Meaning, you're going to have a home
- 55:27page or a parent page for the services.
- 55:30This is the name. [music] We have the
- 55:32title tag, the page type, and all the
- 55:34other information, including what
- 55:35they're going to concentrate on. Then,
- 55:37for example, we have all these services
- 55:39pages. So, EV charger installation and
- 55:42you see how we're following the URL
- 55:44structure, services/EV charger
- 55:46installation, right? That's how it's
- 55:48going to sit on the page structure. And
- 55:51we've got the rest here. We've got the
- 55:52area serviced, for example. We've got
- 55:55more area serviced if we need to. And
- 55:57because we know this is an extremely
- 55:59competitive niche, we're going services,
- 56:01this is the type of service and this is
- 56:03the location that we write it in. Now, I
- 56:05want to be very clear. A lot of people
- 56:06get overcomplicated in terms of like,
- 56:08"Oh, what should the structure be when
- 56:11we're getting a little bit more
- 56:13complex?" So, for example, let's take
- 56:15this one. It says services/EV
- 56:18charger installation/Lutz,
- 56:20Florida. So, that being the location.
- 56:21And sometimes we get confused in saying,
- 56:24"Well, should the location be first
- 56:26instead of the service?" Or should the
- 56:27service be last? Like, what's the best
- 56:29structure? And the best structure is one
- 56:31that stays consistent.
- 56:33That's the main thing about this. Don't
- 56:35stress out about whether should the
- 56:36service go first in the slug or after
- 56:38the location area. What matters is
- 56:40consistency and something that makes
- 56:42sense.
- 56:43>> [music]
- 56:43>> So, how did I get this whole sheet?
- 56:45Well, what you're going to do is go to
- 56:48your project that you're working on at
- 56:50the moment.
- 56:51We're going to go to the EV example and
- 56:54we're going to give it this prompt that
- 56:55I prepared for you. And it is the build
- 56:58your site structure prompt. You copy the
- 57:00entire prompt here and you want to paste
- 57:02it into the project where you already
- 57:05have all the information. This will also
- 57:06work in Claude, by the way. So, you
- 57:09don't have to do this in ChatGPT.
- 57:11Paste that in there and hit enter. After
- 57:13a little while, you will get an output
- 57:15that looks like this. That's exactly
- 57:16what I did here. Now, if some of this
- 57:18doesn't make sense to you or if you
- 57:20don't like the structure for a reason,
- 57:22don't copy it blindly 100%. Go through
- 57:25it with some common sense. If you do
- 57:27want to change it, then this is the time
- 57:29to do that. But make sure you get this
- 57:31ready. And that is the structure that
- 57:33you're going to follow when you build
- 57:34this thing. Once you build the website,
- 57:36and I'll leave a link below of a few
- 57:38entire website builds that I've done,
- 57:40you know, we need to deploy it and
- 57:42submit [music] it because a site that
- 57:44nobody can find is not a website, it's
- 57:46just kind of wasted pixels. So, what you
- 57:48need to do is the basics here and sure
- 57:51that you connected to Google Search
- 57:52Console. Once you have a Google Search
- 57:54Console account, what you want to do is
- 57:55go to add property. A little pop-up will
- 57:58come up and you want to add a website
- 58:00and you want to place in the brand new
- 58:01domain name that you have in here. Let's
- 58:03try this one for example. I've already
- 58:05submitted this one, I think, I can't
- 58:07remember. It's just a test site that I
- 58:09throw away. And I got to do the entire
- 58:11domain here, clean this up, and I'm
- 58:13going to go to continue.
- 58:14Yep, so I've already verified verified
- 58:16it, I can go to the property.
- 58:18You will have a couple of things here.
- 58:19The main thing that I want you to do now
- 58:21is go to the sitemap section and we need
- 58:24to submit a sitemap. Now, we found the
- 58:27sitemap of the competitor before, and
- 58:29it's relatively the same thing, right?
- 58:31[music]
- 58:32What you want to do is you want to make
- 58:34sure that you have a sitemap here, and
- 58:36this sure enough has a sitemap, so
- 58:38that's the URL we grab, we go to Google
- 58:41Search Console, and in this sitemap
- 58:43section, we can add a new sitemap and we
- 58:45can submit. I'm not going to submit it
- 58:47because I've already submitted it for
- 58:49this throwaway site, but you can see
- 58:51here the status is success and it's
- 58:52discovered eight pages. You should have
- 58:54a lot more pages there depending on
- 58:55>> [music]
- 58:55>> how many pages you decided to structure
- 58:57just in the previous step that we made.
- 58:59And to keep the theme of the checklist,
- 59:01we also have a little bit of a launch
- 59:03checklist here on this Google Sheet. It
- 59:05is the tab number five, you have a
- 59:07launch here. It's just main things that
- 59:09you want to make sure you have correctly
- 59:11before you launch the entire [music]
- 59:13site. Now, a lot of these things you
- 59:15want to make sure you've got right on
- 59:16the staging site, but you can also kind
- 59:18of use this as a bit of an on-site SEO
- 59:22checker, which is also the next thing
- 59:23that we're going to do. We're going to
- 59:25review the website and we're going to
- 59:26make sure that whether it's this new
- 59:28site that you've launched or maybe you
- 59:30are looking at a new client's website,
- 59:33you can do some on-page optimization or
- 59:35at least checking what is the on-page
- 59:38optimization like on the website. And
- 59:40when it comes to on-page SEO, on-site
- 59:42SEO, there is, you know, a lot of things
- 59:45that we can have a look at, technical
- 59:46SEO components, and how in-depth you get
- 59:49into the on-page SEO kind of depends
- 59:52what the website is all about. For the
- 59:54most part, there are five things you can
- 59:56look at right away. Actually, I'm going
- 59:57to say six cuz there's one missing here,
- 59:59which is speed. We'll go through all
- 1:00:00five very, very quickly, and most of
- 1:00:03them you can see with one free plugin
- 1:00:06that I'll recommend. There's a lot of
- 1:00:07plugins about like this, but I really
- 1:00:09like this one. Again, I'm not affiliated
- 1:00:10with SEO Wallet, but I just find it a
- 1:00:12really good extension. Once you install
- 1:00:14it, you know that it's working if you
- 1:00:16slide your mouse to the left side, you
- 1:00:18will see that you'll get a little blue
- 1:00:20bar. So, let's go through a couple of
- 1:00:22things here, right? I've got this is my
- 1:00:23website here for AR ranking, so
- 1:00:25hopefully I've done everything
- 1:00:26correctly, but I might be missing a few
- 1:00:28things, and that's fine cuz I want to
- 1:00:29show you that you should fix them as
- 1:00:31well. So, let's There's a detailed
- 1:00:33checklist on on-page SEO, by the way,
- 1:00:35and like I said, the checklist here.
- 1:00:38But, let's go through the main five core
- 1:00:40components that we just talked about in
- 1:00:41this slide. Title tag, meta description,
- 1:00:43H1, H2s, and the schema. Right? This is
- 1:00:45very, very simple, but I don't want to
- 1:00:47complicate things. So, if I hover my
- 1:00:48mouse on the left-hand side, you'll see
- 1:00:50that the little blue bar came up. That
- 1:00:52was from SEO Wallet. So, here, the title
- 1:00:54tag. Cool. Learn AI search optimization.
- 1:00:57Cool. Pretty good. That's the main
- 1:00:58keyword that I want to go for. I could
- 1:01:00probably change it a little bit. So,
- 1:01:02learn AI SEO optimization in a
- 1:01:04community, but for now, that seems to be
- 1:01:06working for me fine. I've got a meta
- 1:01:08description, a tiny bit long. It really
- 1:01:10should be up to here, so maybe that's
- 1:01:12something that I could fix again. That's
- 1:01:14one and two done. H1 and H2s and the
- 1:01:16schema that makes sense. So, if you go
- 1:01:18to the headings tab, we'll see here that
- 1:01:20we've got H1, we've got H2s, and we've
- 1:01:23got H3s. That makes sense. So, let's
- 1:01:24have a look. Get traffic from ChatGPT.
- 1:01:26That is definitely something that I want
- 1:01:27to rank for. And then H2 is, you know, a
- 1:01:31free community start. Okay, cool.
- 1:01:33Tutorials and GEO playbooks, premium SEO
- 1:01:35tools. That's part of the secondary
- 1:01:37keywords that I wanted there. I review
- 1:01:39win and a few things. This kind of all
- 1:01:40makes sense here. I'm happy with that.
- 1:01:43Finally, the schema. I can go to the
- 1:01:44structured data, and I know that I've
- 1:01:45got course schema because after all, the
- 1:01:48community is a course. I've got every Q
- 1:01:50page and organization schema, right?
- 1:01:53This schema will change depending on
- 1:01:54[music] which one of the pages. Do you
- 1:01:56need schema on every single page? No. At
- 1:01:58least all your money pages, though.
- 1:01:59Finally,
- 1:02:01something that isn't in the checklist
- 1:02:02that I provided here is the website
- 1:02:04loading time speed. There are many tests
- 1:02:07you can check your website for. If
- 1:02:09you've got a Chrome browser, the really
- 1:02:10quick one that you can do is you go to
- 1:02:12these little three buttons at the top
- 1:02:15right-hand corner. We go to more tools,
- 1:02:17and we go to developer tools, and you
- 1:02:20should see this slide out. If you don't
- 1:02:22see it like this, it might be because
- 1:02:24it's like this on the left-hand side,
- 1:02:26which is a little bit confusing. I
- 1:02:28prefer mine at the bottom. So, I'm going
- 1:02:30to just place it in here. In the tabs
- 1:02:32here, you want to select the lighthouse.
- 1:02:34This is Google's free speed uh loading
- 1:02:37test. I'm going to go
- 1:02:38>> [music]
- 1:02:38>> analyze page load. And I'm going to do
- 1:02:40this live. I don't want to kind of hide
- 1:02:41anything. Hopefully, my website is still
- 1:02:43loading nice and quick, but who knows? I
- 1:02:44might need to do some optimization for
- 1:02:47it because SEO for the most part isn't a
- 1:02:48set and forget deal. You always need to
- 1:02:50be checking the on-site SEO cuz it might
- 1:02:53change depending on the things you've
- 1:02:54added on your website.
- 1:02:56Woo. Okay. And thankfully, I've got 100
- 1:02:59across the board, performance,
- 1:03:00accessibility, best practice SEO, and
- 1:03:01even agentic browsing. Uh we do a deep
- 1:03:03dive in agentic browsing and what that
- 1:03:05means in our premium community. But for
- 1:03:06the most part, you want to get all of
- 1:03:08these obviously as close as to 100 as
- 1:03:09you can. And there's a little Easter
- 1:03:11egg. If you get everything to 100, you
- 1:03:12get these little uh fireworks. [music]
- 1:03:15But I digress. Well done for getting
- 1:03:16this far. Uh I know this is going to be
- 1:03:18a little bit longer here, but I'm going
- 1:03:19to try and go quickly through the next
- 1:03:21ones uh because they don't need to be
- 1:03:23too complicated. Number seven module is
- 1:03:25the internal linking. Something really,
- 1:03:26really important and a lot of people
- 1:03:28miss out. You can complicate this and
- 1:03:31you can make this a science. I don't
- 1:03:33tend to. I like to simplify things as
- 1:03:35you've seen already. I mean, for me it's
- 1:03:37worked so far. There are three main
- 1:03:38reasons why we want to think about
- 1:03:40internal linking. [music] If you have
- 1:03:41your website linked internally
- 1:03:43correctly, meaning one page linking to
- 1:03:45another within your website where
- 1:03:47[music] it makes sense to do so, it
- 1:03:49makes your website more crawlable for
- 1:03:51the AI search engines or the regular
- 1:03:53search engines, meaning it's probably
- 1:03:55easier to index. [music] It also makes
- 1:03:57it a lot more easier to navigate through
- 1:03:58your website. We want to facilitate the
- 1:04:00navigation of the crawlers and the user.
- 1:04:03Google likes that and we want to make
- 1:04:05Google happy.
- 1:04:06>> [music]
- 1:04:06>> So, internally link your pages. Again,
- 1:04:08it makes it more indexable because it's
- 1:04:09easier to find these new pages if
- 1:04:11they're already linking to pages that
- 1:04:13are already indexed, meaning that
- 1:04:15they're already on Google's search
- 1:04:16engine network. Reason number three is
- 1:04:18that it provides authority to all these
- 1:04:20pages. The more deeper they're into
- 1:04:22linking, the they're into linked, the
- 1:04:25less the authority, but it's still going
- 1:04:26to help quite a bit. So, for example, I
- 1:04:28might have a couple of blog posts about
- 1:04:30the, you know, EV charger installation
- 1:04:32cost, do I need a permit, level two, for
- 1:04:34example. And ideally, somewhere
- 1:04:36throughout those blog posts, I want to
- 1:04:37be linking to the main services page.
- 1:04:39Not always, but as often as it makes
- 1:04:42sense to do so. Again, um I'm not
- 1:04:43affiliated with these guys. They just
- 1:04:45tend to work really well. There's a
- 1:04:46plugin uh for WordPress called Link
- 1:04:49Whisperer and it will do the internal
- 1:04:52linking for you by looking at your data
- 1:04:54from your Google Search Console and
- 1:04:55every time you upload a new one, it just
- 1:04:57kind of does that automatically for you.
- 1:04:59You can just get in the habit of doing
- 1:05:00these things, particularly if you're
- 1:05:02writing in the way that we teach you in
- 1:05:04the AI ranking free content that
- 1:05:07masterclass sorry or the AI search
- 1:05:08kickstarter. Apologies, I'm getting
- 1:05:10tired. This is a long tutorial. Um it
- 1:05:12will kind of show you where you need to
- 1:05:14internally link here. Datawise has a
- 1:05:17function as well. In the content section
- 1:05:19in the writer, there's a few things that
- 1:05:22you need to fill out for the knowledge
- 1:05:24base. So, the website pages, the tone of
- 1:05:26voice, offer details, and a few more
- 1:05:27things. And if you do that, this is a
- 1:05:29tool that's going to show you how Well,
- 1:05:30it's going to write the content for you.
- 1:05:32You can use it. I'm not going to go
- 1:05:33through it in this tutorial because it's
- 1:05:35it's very easy to use, but this does the
- 1:05:38internal linking automatically as you
- 1:05:40saw there. So, it writes in a way that
- 1:05:42uses all the content capture techniques,
- 1:05:44and it also links internally to the
- 1:05:46right pages because we give it that
- 1:05:48information there. So, if you want to
- 1:05:50test out a writer that also does the
- 1:05:51internal linking, you can check out
- 1:05:53Datawise. But, there's also many other
- 1:05:55ways that you can just remember, "Hey, I
- 1:05:57should probably internally link this to
- 1:05:59this website cuz it makes sense for me
- 1:06:00to do so." Module 8 is AI visibility and
- 1:06:03tracking. So, are you actually showing
- 1:06:05up, and what's [music] is the right data
- 1:06:07to look at? Data can be extremely
- 1:06:09complex. I find that that is one use
- 1:06:11that the AIs is fantastically good for.
- 1:06:13You can give it the data and allow it to
- 1:06:16dissect that data in a way that makes
- 1:06:18sense for you. But, here are four
- 1:06:20numbers that for me actually still
- 1:06:22matter at the end of the day. Your
- 1:06:23impressions, how many times it's showing
- 1:06:25up, the clicks, at the end of the day,
- 1:06:27that's what it's going to get you many
- 1:06:29conversions, the average position, so
- 1:06:31out of all the keywords that you're
- 1:06:32ranking for, what is your average
- 1:06:33position, and the queries. This is more
- 1:06:35the AI stuff. I'm going to show you how
- 1:06:38to find all this data [music] very
- 1:06:40easily, as well as a tool within
- 1:06:41Datawise that's going to help you here
- 1:06:43understand, am I getting seen in the AI
- 1:06:45overviews in ChatGPT and in Perplexity.
- 1:06:47But, before that, I want to go through
- 1:06:48the free stuff for you cuz if you don't
- 1:06:50want to use Datawise, that's more than
- 1:06:51enough, but you can still access this
- 1:06:52data. Out of all things, Bing actually
- 1:06:54does this really well. You can Once
- 1:06:57you've submitted your website to Google
- 1:06:58Search Console, you can authenticate it
- 1:06:59very easily in Bing. All right? Bing is
- 1:07:02Webmaster Tools is the version of Google
- 1:07:03Search Console within the Bing search
- 1:07:05engine network. They've got a section
- 1:07:06here called AI performance [music] and
- 1:07:07it tells you here the total citations
- 1:07:09and the average pages cited and also the
- 1:07:12queries. This is a Spanish website if
- 1:07:14you don't understand anything, that's
- 1:07:14fine. But it's telling you here what are
- 1:07:16all the queries that I'm being cited for
- 1:07:18in the AI search engines, which is good.
- 1:07:20The more citations growing, the more
- 1:07:22average cited pages, the better, right?
- 1:07:24It's kind of not that difficult. The
- 1:07:26other tool that I consider like the
- 1:07:28actual source of truth, the one that you
- 1:07:30should consider is good data, is Google
- 1:07:32Search Console. After a little while you
- 1:07:33should start seeing some data. The main
- 1:07:36things you want to look at is in the
- 1:07:37performance tab. You want to see the
- 1:07:39total clicks and impressions going
- 1:07:40[music] up. Generally, the first thing
- 1:07:41that you'll see going up is always the
- 1:07:43impressions, which makes sense. You're
- 1:07:44going to get found first. These
- 1:07:46impressions are going to start coming up
- 1:07:47and ideally then the clicks starts
- 1:07:50coming [music] up. You can see the
- 1:07:50average position and this is out of all
- 1:07:53the keywords that we're ranking for,
- 1:07:54what is the average position of them.
- 1:07:56Whilst that is somewhat of a good
- 1:07:57metric, I really care more about the
- 1:07:59impressions and the clicks going up.
- 1:08:01Generally, we're all getting less clicks
- 1:08:03thanks to the AI search engines. That's
- 1:08:05just the new norm. It's not doesn't mean
- 1:08:07that you're doing everything
- 1:08:08incorrectly. Some people in the United
- 1:08:09States will have an AI search function
- 1:08:11here, but not everybody does. So, if
- 1:08:13you're not in the US, how do you see if
- 1:08:15you're getting cited by the AI search
- 1:08:16engines cuz that data [music] isn't in
- 1:08:18Google Search Console. Well, you can use
- 1:08:20Data Wise for that. So, here we're going
- 1:08:21to go to the AI visibility section.
- 1:08:24You'll see three different tabs here.
- 1:08:26>> [music]
- 1:08:27>> It'll give you three different data sets
- 1:08:28here. So, here I can see that for the
- 1:08:31website AI Ranking School, when was this
- 1:08:32last checked? The 2nd of August,
- 1:08:34yesterday as of the time of this
- 1:08:35recording, that's fine. So, in the
- 1:08:36performance tab, once you have connected
- 1:08:38your website in here, you can see here
- 1:08:40that I'm getting cited for my name,
- 1:08:42which is fantastic, across Google, GPT,
- 1:08:45and Perplexity, great. Perplexity, I'm
- 1:08:46actually getting more mentions for a
- 1:08:47couple of keywords here, which is
- 1:08:49fantastic. If you want to see like an
- 1:08:51instant check of whether your brand is
- 1:08:53being cited, you can use the brand
- 1:08:55tracker. So, let's try another random
- 1:08:57website here for example. So, I'm going
- 1:08:58to use here Get Me Links, which will
- 1:09:00touch on very briefly within the back
- 1:09:03linking section. So, it's a nice little
- 1:09:05segway there. I'm going to get the
- 1:09:07domain here. I'm going to click analyze.
- 1:09:08This going to take a little while. For
- 1:09:09the most part, this is going to be data
- 1:09:11again within the United [music] States
- 1:09:13and in English. So, here I'm getting for
- 1:09:15this domain, I've got a total of 18
- 1:09:17mentions across Google AI overviews,
- 1:09:20AIO, that's what it stands for, and GPT.
- 1:09:23Good. So, they're getting mentions.
- 1:09:24They're getting a lot of search volume
- 1:09:25and their domain is being cited. Which
- 1:09:27data set is the most important ones?
- 1:09:30Much of a muchness. I personally think
- 1:09:31that mentions is more important. I see
- 1:09:33more people getting conversions from
- 1:09:35that. I see this over time. The
- 1:09:36mentions, you know, for them it's
- 1:09:38decreasing. I wonder if they've done
- 1:09:39something there. More importantly, in
- 1:09:41this tab, this is why it's my favorite,
- 1:09:42the brand tracker. I can see what the
- 1:09:44large language models are mentioning me
- 1:09:46for or this business in case this falls.
- 1:09:48So, you know, how to create internal
- 1:09:50linking, they're getting cited for that
- 1:09:52by ChatGPT. High quality links, they're
- 1:09:55getting cited that from AIO, so Google
- 1:09:57AI overviews and a bunch of more things.
- 1:09:59So, they're doing pretty well. And
- 1:10:00that's pretty much it. You ideally I
- 1:10:02don't like to over complicate these. You
- 1:10:04can track certain prompts and keywords
- 1:10:07here from the AI visibility checker, but
- 1:10:09I don't want to again complicate things
- 1:10:10too much. You just want to see how many
- 1:10:11times you're being cited and mentioned,
- 1:10:13as well as clicks and everything else,
- 1:10:15but those are the main data sets that
- 1:10:16you want to see. Over a period of time,
- 1:10:18you want to be increasing those. How
- 1:10:19much? It's very difficult to answer that
- 1:10:22question. How long is a piece of string?
- 1:10:23And I know that's a horrific answer, but
- 1:10:25you want to take it a step at a time. As
- 1:10:26long as it's improving on a
- 1:10:28month-to-month basis, then for the most
- 1:10:30part, you'll be okay. Welcome to back
- 1:10:32links, back link sanitizations, but
- 1:10:33mostly back links. This is the last
- 1:10:37layer. Well done for getting this far.
- 1:10:38So, um I think [music] in this day and
- 1:10:40age, it's really important to consider
- 1:10:43back links and mentions just as you
- 1:10:45would back links back in the day or even
- 1:10:48now. Like, they're the same importance.
- 1:10:50If you get a citation or a mention, you
- 1:10:52can consider it as as important as a
- 1:10:54back link. I think the best way to
- 1:10:56understand the importance of a backlink
- 1:10:58is that you need to consider your
- 1:11:01website as a city [music] and the
- 1:11:03backlinks as roads. So, the more roads
- 1:11:07pointing to your city, aka your website,
- 1:11:10the more bigger your city is probably,
- 1:11:12the more authority it [music] has. The
- 1:11:13same thing here and I hope that metaphor
- 1:11:16made sense, but the idea here is to get
- 1:11:19links [music] to your website. It's
- 1:11:21going to add authority to you and it's
- 1:11:22going to be easier for your website to
- 1:11:24get found in index. And I want to make
- 1:11:26sure that we understand that not every
- 1:11:27link is is created equal. What I mean
- 1:11:29here it's it's really not about the
- 1:11:32quantity, it's about the quality. I know
- 1:11:34I said the more roads to your city,
- 1:11:35whatever, but trust me, it's about the
- 1:11:37quality of them. How do you start
- 1:11:39getting backlinks? Well, there's a few
- 1:11:41ways and a few types of backlinks. There
- 1:11:43is the classic guest posts and the niche
- 1:11:45edits and a lot of these other things,
- 1:11:47but if you are a business or a SEO
- 1:11:51agency that wants to start doing this,
- 1:11:53if it's a local service-based business,
- 1:11:55the first thing you need is local
- 1:11:56citations, which are essentially just
- 1:11:58localized backlinks. There is many
- 1:12:00different ways to find local citation
- 1:12:03links. One of the ways that I kind of
- 1:12:05prefer doing this, because you might
- 1:12:07change where the business might change
- 1:12:09where it is in the world, obviously it
- 1:12:10will, the easiest thing to do is um
- 1:12:13show me all the free online listing
- 1:12:17directories for businesses in and you
- 1:12:19insert the location of where the
- 1:12:20business is at. For this, I'm going to
- 1:12:22go Dallas, for example,
- 1:12:24>> [music]
- 1:12:24>> Texas. And whether it's with Google or
- 1:12:27GPT, you'll get a list here of a bunch
- 1:12:30and we can even go further. Let's try
- 1:12:32this with ChatGPT as well. And the more
- 1:12:34information about the type of business
- 1:12:36you put in this kind of simple prompt,
- 1:12:38the more local citation directories
- 1:12:40you'll get. So, here for example, we get
- 1:12:42Nextdoor business page, Foursquare,
- 1:12:44Better Business Bureau, always get on
- 1:12:46the Better Business Bureau. Then here we
- 1:12:48get it for Dallas. So, we're starting to
- 1:12:49get a few free directories here. The one
- 1:12:52thing with a business directories is
- 1:12:54that you want to make sure that you keep
- 1:12:55what's called a nap, and that's name,
- 1:12:57address, and phone number consistent.
- 1:13:00That's the main thing about that. You
- 1:13:01make an a free account, well, wherever
- 1:13:03you allowed to create a free account in
- 1:13:04here, and you put in your information as
- 1:13:06long as you keep that consistent, the
- 1:13:08name, address, and the phone number. If
- 1:13:09you have a few businesses that you're
- 1:13:11doing this for, I would recommend that
- 1:13:14you give this to someone else to do. All
- 1:13:16right, the one that I use is
- 1:13:18BrightLocal. So, here in solutions, they
- 1:13:20go to
- 1:13:21local citation building services. And
- 1:13:24for the most part, it's extremely
- 1:13:25cost-effective. Be wary here, it says $2
- 1:13:28for citation, that's if you buy it like
- 1:13:30in bulk, but for the most part, it's
- 1:13:32going to cost around $3.20
- 1:13:34for [music] a local citation. This is a
- 1:13:36wonderful service, you know, considering
- 1:13:38that you might want to do this for 20
- 1:13:40citations for one website, pay $100 or
- 1:13:43so, I can't do math at this point, and
- 1:13:46you're kind of done in that section. If
- 1:13:47you do client work, if you have more
- 1:13:49than three sites that you need to do
- 1:13:50this for, I highly recommend you just do
- 1:13:52it with BrightLocal. There are a few
- 1:13:53other services, for the most part, you
- 1:13:56want to go with something that's a
- 1:13:57little bit more trustworthy, like
- 1:13:59BrightLocal. I'm not affiliated with
- 1:14:01them at all, but I just trust it cuz
- 1:14:03I've been doing work like the local
- 1:14:05citations work with them for a while.
- 1:14:06What you shouldn't do is go to Fiverr
- 1:14:09and get the local citations. They're,
- 1:14:11you know, there's Fiverr messages like
- 1:14:13like local citations here, I will do 300
- 1:14:15USA local citations with NAP consistency
- 1:14:17for $5. That should give you red flags.
- 1:14:20Not to say that all the services on
- 1:14:23Fiverr are bad, it's just very easy to
- 1:14:25get a bad quality one. So, I for the
- 1:14:27most part want to keep you safe, the
- 1:14:28website you're working on safe, so go to
- 1:14:30kind of BrightLocal. [music] Now, that's
- 1:14:32if you're doing a local business. What
- 1:14:34if you want more links, but you don't
- 1:14:36know how to do it? If you are a subject
- 1:14:37matter expert, one of the best things
- 1:14:39you can do is go to oh, Connectively. It
- 1:14:42used to be called feature.com, but
- 1:14:44they've changed the name to
- 1:14:46Connectively, which I don't like it, but
- 1:14:48something must have happened. Maybe they
- 1:14:49sold the name. Anyway,
- 1:14:51Connectively, you can make an account
- 1:14:53and once you log in and answer a few
- 1:14:55questions, they'll give you a couple of
- 1:14:57questions that publishers are asking.
- 1:14:59This used to be called HARO, Help a
- 1:15:02Reporter Out. The idea here is for you
- 1:15:04to take a look at all these questions
- 1:15:05that are being asked here and see which
- 1:15:06one you can answer the best. So, here
- 1:15:08for example, the ones that usually have
- 1:15:10your profile in it are the ones that
- 1:15:12Connectively has
- 1:15:15guessed that you're probably a really
- 1:15:16good person to answer because this
- 1:15:18connects to your LinkedIn account, so it
- 1:15:19understands that. So, then what you got
- 1:15:21to do is answer this question for
- 1:15:23example to the best of your ability. You
- 1:15:25submit it and then it'll go through a
- 1:15:27couple of processes of review, selected,
- 1:15:29and published. You can see here out of
- 1:15:3012 pitched, I've got [music]
- 1:15:32five published, which isn't too bad. And
- 1:15:34what they do is they give you a backlink
- 1:15:36in by citing you for the answer. So,
- 1:15:39let's take a look at this one here for
- 1:15:40example. Hopefully, I'm still being
- 1:15:42cited and it still exists. So, if I look
- 1:15:45for my name, I go to Nico, there it is.
- 1:15:47So, here is myself here being cited. So,
- 1:15:50[music] that's a link to my website
- 1:15:52because I am being cited and mentioned
- 1:15:54there, which is good for my brand name
- 1:15:55and it's good for my site website
- 1:15:57authority. This only really works for
- 1:15:59those people who have some sort of
- 1:16:01authority or are subject matter expert
- 1:16:03in their field. It's a great way. You
- 1:16:06get about three answers every single
- 1:16:07month. You can get the paid option, but
- 1:16:09I just kind of do the three answers a
- 1:16:10month when I remember to do so. And for
- 1:16:12the most part, my batting average could
- 1:16:14be better, but it's not too bad, five
- 1:16:16out of 12. Yeah. And finally,
- 1:16:17>> [music]
- 1:16:18>> again, I'm not associated with them. To
- 1:16:20be very transparent, we've had Get Me
- 1:16:22Links or the CEO of Get Me Links, a
- 1:16:25gentleman by the name of Alejandro Mayor
- 1:16:27Ehsans, in our community. I know him.
- 1:16:29And they're a backlinking agency. I'm
- 1:16:30not saying go with Get Me Links. There's
- 1:16:32a lot of backlinks agencies, you know,
- 1:16:35Rhino Rank and a few more. But the dirty
- 1:16:37little secret in the SEO world that
- 1:16:38nobody likes to admit is that everybody
- 1:16:40buys backlinks,
- 1:16:42especially in competitive niches. And
- 1:16:44again, you can purchase backlinks from
- 1:16:45Fiverr, but I don't recommend it. I have
- 1:16:48gotten Get Me Links to get me links
- 1:16:50quite a few times, and I always get
- 1:16:52really solid results. The main thing
- 1:16:53here is to verify what they're doing.
- 1:16:57Get on a call with whoever is getting
- 1:16:59you links. Because if they don't know
- 1:17:01what you're they're doing, they're going
- 1:17:02to get you bad quality links. You're not
- 1:17:04going to get spammed or anything like
- 1:17:06that, but you'll be wasting money away.
- 1:17:08You want good high-quality links,
- 1:17:10relative links, meaning it's got to be
- 1:17:12related somehow in your industry. For
- 1:17:14example, if I teach people how to do
- 1:17:15SEO, then it wouldn't make much sense
- 1:17:17for me to get a backlink from a website
- 1:17:19that sells computer gaming tech, right?
- 1:17:22Unless it's an article they're writing
- 1:17:23about SEO somehow. But it needs to make
- 1:17:25a relative sense. And that's kind of
- 1:17:27really it. I don't want to go too much
- 1:17:29into it apart from, "Hey, everybody buys
- 1:17:31backlinks." And while Google states that
- 1:17:32they don't condone purchasing backlinks,
- 1:17:34that's all well and good, but it
- 1:17:37wouldn't be a multi-million, I think
- 1:17:39billion dollar industry by now if it
- 1:17:41didn't work so well, because it does. Do
- 1:17:42you need backlinks right away? Like when
- 1:17:44you launch a website, is that the first
- 1:17:45thing you need to do? No, absolutely
- 1:17:47not. You can do a lot of free things,
- 1:17:49like I showed you before, local
- 1:17:50citations, get on feature.com, before
- 1:17:53you need to think about a backlinking
- 1:17:55strategy. And remember how we did the
- 1:17:57competitor analysis before and we saw,
- 1:17:58"Hey, these guys have a lot of
- 1:17:59backlinks." Once you've done everything
- 1:18:01that we've gone through this very long
- 1:18:03tutorial, build the website correctly,
- 1:18:04do good content, make sure it gets
- 1:18:06indexed, yada yada, and you're still not
- 1:18:07outranking them, cool. Let's start
- 1:18:10getting some links, and I would
- 1:18:12recommend, if you've got the budget, to
- 1:18:14partner with an agency that knows what
- 1:18:16they're doing. If you don't want to do
- 1:18:17it Get Me Links, you could always do
- 1:18:19things like Rhino Rank as well, and
- 1:18:20there's a few other services. I haven't
- 1:18:22tried all the backlinking services, so I
- 1:18:24couldn't tell you which one's the best
- 1:18:25one. But again, if you're going to try
- 1:18:27anything, I'd go with Rhino Rank or Get
- 1:18:29Me Links. Very well done for getting
- 1:18:31through all of this. I hope this was
- 1:18:32useful. I probably need to do a lot more
- 1:18:35one these. If you want me to go into
- 1:18:36detail on anything that we talked about
- 1:18:37in a certain topic, just let me know in
- 1:18:39the comments and I'd love to make that
- 1:18:40for you. If you made it this far, it
- 1:18:42means you're very interested in this.
- 1:18:44The next step for you, I recommend, is
- 1:18:46join our free community. I just keep
- 1:18:48updated with regular content from
- 1:18:50YouTube and a few more things there. And
- 1:18:51if you want to get really serious about
- 1:18:53getting help, support, and [music]
- 1:18:56understanding how to rank in the AR
- 1:18:57search engines, I recommend our
- 1:18:58community. The classroom is always being
- 1:19:00updated. We have a lot of AR
- 1:19:02fundamentals, how to set up Hermes to do
- 1:19:05your SEO. We have a masterclass. You get
- 1:19:07a one-on-one onboarding call with me. We
- 1:19:09have a lot of live Q&A sessions, so you
- 1:19:12can ask questions and get instant
- 1:19:13feedback about what you're doing with
- 1:19:15your website. We get regular other
- 1:19:17industry professionals in there. And at
- 1:19:18the moment, at least at the as of this
- 1:19:20time of this recording, there are two
- 1:19:23main subscriptions that you can get.
- 1:19:24There's a $29 a month and there's a $47
- 1:19:26a month plan as well. If you don't like
- 1:19:28it within the first 7 days, let me know,
- 1:19:29I'll refund you 100%, no uh harm, no bad
- 1:19:32feelings. But I just want to make sure
- 1:19:34that it's the right purchase for you.
- 1:19:36Apart from that, thank you so much for
- 1:19:37watching this video. I appreciate if you
- 1:19:38got this way. Uh I hope it wasn't too
- 1:19:40boring and helpful, but I can guarantee
- 1:19:42that if you follow the process that I
- 1:19:44just walked through, you will be already
- 1:19:46ahead of 80% of people out there. Again,
- 1:19:49thanks for watching. I'll catch you in
- 1:19:50the next one. Cheers.
