- 0:00How to sell Google Business Profile
- 0:02optimization in 2027. The market has
- 0:06changed completely, and you need to
- 0:08know how to position yourself to keep
- 0:10selling this service, make more money,
- 0:13and stand out from what the competition
- 0:15is doing. If you don't know me yet, my
- 0:19name is Vinícius Moreira, I'm a Google

- 0:50a message on the day of the class,
- 0:52letting you know so you don't miss it.
- 0:54Without further ado, let's get to the
- 0:55video. Let's understand what has
- 0:57changed in this market and how you can
- 1:00manage to sell this service more and
- 1:02more in 2027. One of the main things we
- 1:05need to understand is that the market
- 1:07has changed, and optimization by itself
- 1:09is no longer a strong offer. In 2026,
- 1:13it was still relatively easy to sell
- 1:15the service with the promise of ranking
- 1:18the business. The business owner
- 1:20understood that they had a poorly
- 1:22configured profile. The Google Business
- 1:24Profile professional would go in, fix
- 1:26it, adjust the profile, and the
- 1:28perceived value was directly tied to
- 1:30those improvements. In 2027, this
- 1:33approach changes completely and starts
- 1:35to lose a lot of steam. Why is it
- 1:38losing steam, Vinícius? Because all
- 1:40the tools have become more accessible,
- 1:42and because artificial intelligence has
- 1:45simplified what used to be very
- 1:46technical. Before, not just anyone
- 1:48understood what SEO was. And artificial
- 1:51intelligence has come to make that much
- 1:54easier. So, business owners can now go
- 1:57into an AI tool themselves and generate
- 2:00text, post ideas, and review responses.
- 2:03They can do all of that on their own.
- 2:06Therefore, professionals who only sell
- 2:09this structural part of the tool become
- 2:12replaceable by AI, because business
- 2:14owners can already do all of that
- 2:16themselves. The problem is not that
- 2:20Google Business Profile stopped working
- 2:22or is no longer effective, Vinícius;
- 2:24no, that's not it. The problem is you
- 2:27continuing to sell the service the same
- 2:29way you did in 2026. Google remains
- 2:32extremely important for local
- 2:34businesses. For me, it is the most
- 2:37important tool that any local business
- 2:39needs to have, but simply optimizing
- 2:41the profile no longer changes the game.
- 2:45That is where the professional needs to
- 2:47change their perception. They need to
- 2:50understand that selling optimization
- 2:52has become a commodity. So everyone is
- 2:55offering the same thing in the market.
- 2:59Everyone offers profile adjustments and
- 3:01ranking, and when everyone offers the
- 3:03same thing, the comparison becomes
- 3:05price. So the business owner starts
- 3:09looking and saying: "Okay, John, Mary,
- 3:10and Vinicius, everyone offers the same
- 3:12thing.""But John charges 500 and
- 3:15Vinicius charges 1000." Who are they
- 3:17going to sign with? If everyone offers
- 3:19the same thing, they will sign with
- 3:22John, who charges less. So you need to
- 3:25make the product delivery something
- 3:28different from a commodity, something
- 3:31not everyone offers. And the arrival of
- 3:34AI accelerates this a lot, because
- 3:36today a person doesn't need to know
- 3:38much to operate in the market. So
- 3:40selling positioning, selling
- 3:43categorization, selling posts—this
- 3:46has become very easy. And then what
- 3:49starts to happen? All the companies
- 3:51that didn't even have posts before
- 3:53start having posts. So, posting for the
- 3:56sake of posting or optimizing for the
- 3:58sake of optimizing stops being a
- 4:00differentiator to ensure good
- 4:02positioning on Google. So, the
- 4:04professional has to stop selling
- 4:06optimization because then they are just
- 4:08another one in the market. And when you
- 4:10are just another one in the market, you
- 4:12are compared by price. So, that is
- 4:14where we need to have a change in our
- 4:17professional positioning. What change?
- 4:21Instead of presenting themselves as a
- 4:23Google Business Profile manager, the
- 4:24professional needs to take on a more
- 4:26strategic position. Specialist in
- 4:29digital presence, specialist in digital
- 4:32positioning for local businesses. And
- 4:35here, I don't want you to get hung up
- 4:37on the name, okay? Because the name
- 4:39here is what matters least. What I want
- 4:41you to understand is the positioning,
- 4:44the perception you have to create for
- 4:46the company. The company needs to
- 4:49understand that you go beyond solely
- 4:51optimizing a Google Business Profile.
- 4:55Your work goes beyond changing a
- 4:57category, changing a little ranking
- 4:59here, a little thing there; you are a
- 5:01professional who takes care of the
- 5:03company's digital presence. Therefore,
- 5:07you become a much more strategic
- 5:09professional. You get out of that
- 5:11commodity box and become a strategic
- 5:13professional who takes care of the
- 5:15presence of local businesses. And one
- 5:18of the big reasons for you to actually
- 5:21change this perception, this
- 5:22professional positioning, is that
- 5:24Google is no longer the only place for
- 5:27discovering a company. Come here with
- 5:30me, take a look at this that I've
- 5:31prepared for you to understand. For a
- 5:34long time, the user journey was
- 5:37relatively standard. They needed a
- 5:41service. They opened Google, searched,
- 5:43and chose from the results that were
- 5:45there in the search. Now, the user's
- 5:48search journey has changed. They ask an
- 5:52AI, then they search directly on Google
- 5:54Maps, then they check the company's
- 5:56social media, then they look at company
- 5:58reviews, and they keep switching back
- 6:00and forth. They check Google, look at
- 6:04the site, look at social media, then
- 6:06they ask an AI about that company, then
- 6:08about that service. So, the way the
- 6:11user searches has changed a lot. When I
- 6:15position myself as someone responsible
- 6:18for that company's digital presence, I
- 6:20start working on company discovery and
- 6:23not just its position on Google. I
- 6:28start to become a much more strategic
- 6:30professional, who takes care of that
- 6:33company's digital presence so it gets
- 6:35found; I work on company discovery so
- 6:38it gets found, whatever channel the end
- 6:40user is using. So I make the perception
- 6:44of my service change. I'm not someone
- 6:47who just works on Google Business
- 6:49Profile optimization to get you to the
- 6:50top. I am a professional who works on
- 6:53your digital presence. If the user
- 6:55searches on Google, you will be well
- 6:57positioned. If the user searches on an
- 6:59AI tool, your company will appear. Can
- 7:03you understand how the perception of
- 7:05value changes when I position myself in
- 7:07this more strategic way? And speaking a
- 7:11little more in-depth about the presence
- 7:14of companies in AI tools, we have to
- 7:16understand that many people today are
- 7:19searching using AI. I, for example, for
- 7:24certain services, certain products,
- 7:26before going to Google, I search in an
- 7:29AI tool. I seek to understand who is
- 7:33positioned best, which company is being
- 7:36recommended, because the company that
- 7:38an AI tool recommends to me, that
- 7:40company tends to be better than the
- 7:43others, because either it is indeed
- 7:45better and being talked about more, or
- 7:47it has a concern about how it is seen
- 7:50on the internet. So, it's a company
- 7:53that cares about its positioning, so it
- 7:56does tend to be better. And then what
- 7:59happens? A new question starts to
- 8:01appear in the business owner's mind,
- 8:03and you have to put that question there
- 8:05. When someone asks an artificial
- 8:09intelligence about companies in the
- 8:11segment, in my segment in my city,
- 8:13which company appears? Is my company
- 8:16even mentioned? Does the AI even know
- 8:19that my company exists? This question
- 8:22captures the business owner's attention
- 8:24because they have little clarity on
- 8:26this. And that is where the
- 8:29professional needs to use this as a
- 8:31sales pitch. I will make the company
- 8:34appear through Google and Google Maps.
- 8:37We will use the website and work on
- 8:40reviews. I will spread information
- 8:44about the company across the internet,
- 8:46generate mentions and authority signals
- 8:49, and make all this information connect
- 8:52. It's about making it clear to the
- 8:55owner that there is no "put my business
- 8:57on AI" button. They can understand that
- 9:01changing a Google Business Profile
- 9:03category is something they can do;
- 9:05registering a business on Google
- 9:07Business Profile is something they can
- 9:09do, even if poorly; however, putting a
- 9:11business on AI—there is no "register
- 9:13business" button, that doesn't exist.
- 9:17Presence must be built because AI tools
- 9:20work with different contexts, different
- 9:23sources, and different information to
- 9:26be able to recommend a business. And
- 9:29that is where this argument completely
- 9:31changes the perception of the service.
- 9:35You stop talking about Google ranking
- 9:37and start talking about building a
- 9:40strong digital presence that can be
- 9:43found and understood by any tool on the
- 9:46internet. It's about showing the owner
- 9:50that when you build this digital
- 9:53presence, their company will be found
- 9:55on Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or
- 9:58any other AI that may appear. And along
- 10:02with this, the website becomes one of
- 10:04the most strategic roles for Google
- 10:06Business Profile again. In the past,
- 10:10Google Business Profile managers
- 10:12understood that only the profile was
- 10:14necessary, so they didn't even bother
- 10:16with websites or landing pages. But now
- 10:20, with the arrival of AI tools, the way
- 10:23people search has changed, and context
- 10:25has become important, so the website
- 10:27becomes an extremely important element
- 10:30in our journey again. Why? Because on
- 10:34the website, I am the one who controls
- 10:36the information, and I am the one who
- 10:39controls the amount of information.
- 10:42While on Google Business Profile, I
- 10:44need to stick to the description, posts
- 10:46, services, and reviews. On the website
- 10:50, I can create a page for each service.
- 10:53On the website, I can create a FAQ
- 10:55section with frequently asked questions
- 10:57so that my company also becomes a
- 10:59reference for generating answers. And
- 11:02then you ask yourself: "Oh my God, do I
- 11:04have to learn how to create a website
- 11:05now?" with the arrival of AI? That has
- 11:07also become easier. Today, you can
- 11:11create extremely responsive,
- 11:12high-quality websites and landing pages
- 11:15using AI tools inside my training. And
- 11:18if you aren't familiar with it, you're
- 11:21wasting time; I'll even leave the card
- 11:23appearing here. In the Expertn method,
- 11:27we talk about all of this, including
- 11:29site creation, and we teach how to
- 11:31build sites so they can rank in
- 11:33searches and actually show up. All of
- 11:37this while also using artificial
- 11:39intelligence to make the process
- 11:41increasingly easier, both for
- 11:43delivering good results to the client
- 11:45and for us to charge more, deliver
- 11:47higher quality, and generate more
- 11:49perceived value. Because one thing we
- 11:53need to understand is that in 2027,
- 11:55Google Business Profile becomes the
- 11:56center of the ecosystem. So, we are
- 11:59talking about an ecosystem and not just
- 12:02a single tool. We become much more
- 12:05strategic. The Google profile remains
- 12:09extremely relevant, but it must be
- 12:11connected to other assets. Google
- 12:15Business Profile will concentrate a
- 12:17large part of local intent and will
- 12:20facilitate user action. The website
- 12:23deeply explains who the company is and
- 12:25what it offers. It is here within the
- 12:28site that we provide more context for
- 12:30the AIs. When we index this site, and
- 12:33it is built in the correct way, it
- 12:36delivers all these contextual tools so
- 12:38that the AIs can truly understand who
- 12:41the company is. Profile reviews build
- 12:45the trust and social proof that AIs
- 12:47need to be able to recommend that
- 12:50company. Content on the profile helps
- 12:53the company demonstrate that it has
- 12:55knowledge and relevance in the market
- 12:57it operates in. Citations, those famous
- 13:00directories, increase the company's
- 13:03consistency on the internet. So, the
- 13:06company begins to appear in various
- 13:08places and not just in its own pillars,
- 13:10like the website itself, social media,
- 13:12and Google Business Profile. And the
- 13:15professional who begins to organize
- 13:17this ecosystem becomes a more active,
- 13:20more important, and more strategic
- 13:22professional. Can you understand, did
- 13:26you manage to notice the difference
- 13:28between those who provide this service
- 13:30strategically and those who just sell
- 13:32Google Business Profile as a standalone
- 13:35thing? You can tell the tone from a
- 13:38value perspective. This professional I
- 13:42just told you about, who handles the
- 13:44site, who handles the digital presence,
- 13:46review strategy, and content generation
- 13:48, this professional charges much more;
- 13:50they have the perception of being a
- 13:52more expensive professional because
- 13:54they are more strategic and position
- 13:55themselves better. And that is where
- 13:59the new offer we need to work on for
- 14:012027 comes in. What is this new 2027
- 14:04offer? Instead of selling an
- 14:08optimization package, sell a local
- 14:10digital presence structure. You are
- 14:13going to structure that company's
- 14:15digital presence. The entry point
- 14:17remains Google Business Profile,
- 14:19because it's an easy problem for
- 14:21business owners to understand. It's
- 14:23easy for them to grasp what Google
- 14:25Business Profile is, but the delivery
- 14:27doesn't need to end there. Now, we are
- 14:30going to deliver a digital presence
- 14:33diagnosis, Google Business Profile
- 14:35optimization, structuring or improving
- 14:38that company's website, creating a
- 14:40review strategy, establishing
- 14:42information consistency for this
- 14:44company on the internet, having
- 14:46important service pages, generating
- 14:49more strategic content, monitoring the
- 14:51company's presence in AI and Google
- 14:53search results, and analyzing whether
- 14:57AIs recommend this company and what
- 14:59these AI tools say about it. When you
- 15:03ask an AI about that company, what does
- 15:05the AI have to say about it? The result
- 15:08of this is an offer that is harder to
- 15:10compare. Your competitor might just be
- 15:12selling 10 posts per month. You are
- 15:15offering a positioning strategy. The
- 15:18perception of value changes completely.
- 15:23And that is where the big core message
- 15:24for 2027 comes in, and I want you to
- 15:26pay close attention to this. Google
- 15:29Business Profile hasn't died; it's just
- 15:31that the way we need to sell it has
- 15:33changed. You don't need to abandon
- 15:36Google Business Profile. You need to
- 15:39understand that it is the tip of a more
- 15:41robust service, a larger delivery, and
- 15:44that it acts as a lure. It is through
- 15:47this that we acquire the client. So I
- 15:48sell what the client wants—they want
- 15:51better positioning, they want to sell
- 15:53more. But I deliver what they need. And
- 15:56what do they need? They need an
- 15:59optimized profile, they need a landing
- 16:01page that delivers their information,
- 16:03they need a review strategy, and they
- 16:06need a content production format that
- 16:08generates relevance for them on the
- 16:10internet. In 2027, it’s not enough to
- 16:14just optimize a profile for the sake of
- 16:16it; there needs to be a strategy behind
- 16:18it. And you can and should bring in AI
- 16:23tools to assist you in this work: to
- 16:26help with profile optimization, review
- 16:29responses, landing page creation, the
- 16:31way you sell this service,
- 16:33understanding who to sell it to, and
- 16:36where you learn how to sell this
- 16:38service, who to sell it to, and how to
- 16:41provide this service the right way. You
- 16:45learn that within the Expert Method.
