  1. 0:00Number one, work smarter, not harder. I
  2. 0:03find myself disagreeing with this. You
  3. 0:05should just work smarter and harder.
  4. 0:07They're not mutually exclusive.
  5. 0:10Number two, the 8020 rule.
  6. 0:13Uh, I don't know why everyone applies
  7. 0:14this to everything. It's an economic
  8. 0:16principle that for some reason is just
  9. 0:19universally true in every domain. I find
  10. 0:21myself anecdotally disagreeing with
  11. 0:23that. And on on the premise, like I
  12. 0:26don't get why everyone applies it to
  13. 0:28everything all the time. Plan tomorrow,
  14. 0:31the night before. Uh I feel like for me,
  15. 0:35like I know what I'm going to do
  16. 0:36tomorrow, like throughout the day. I
  17. 0:38don't have to have like a before I go to
  18. 0:40bed like debrief of everything. Like I
  19. 0:42feel like at that point I'm just would
  20. 0:44rather be focused on resting. You know
  21. 0:45what I mean? So I don't know. Like I
  22. 0:48think like maybe that sounds good in
  23. 0:50theory, but in practice like that
  24. 0:51literally never happens like that for
  25. 0:52me.
  26. 0:54Avoid perfectionism by setting good
  27. 0:56enough standards.
  28. 0:58I think for this it also makes sense if
  29. 1:00you struggle a lot with perfectionism.
  30. 1:01But like at least personally I feel like
  31. 1:04if I were like applying for like a job
  32. 1:06and they asked me like oh so all like
  33. 1:09the stuff that you've have on your
  34. 1:10resume that's like you tried your best
  35. 1:13and all that, right? And I was like no I
  36. 1:15gave like 80% effort. I'd be like I
  37. 1:18wouldn't hire that kind of person. You
  38. 1:19know what I mean? So, like I feel like
  39. 1:21there's definitely like getting too in
  40. 1:23your head, but I feel like you should
  41. 1:24just like try hard with like what you
  42. 1:26have and like the time limits you have.
  43. 1:28You know what I mean? Caffeine creep.
  44. 1:30I've really noticed that people in like
  45. 1:31the productivity sphere like down like
  46. 1:33yerba mate and like stuff like that and
  47. 1:35like coffee and stuff. I personally like
  48. 1:38used to justify my caffeine addiction
  49. 1:40because like Andrew Huberman would drink
  50. 1:42like five or like six euro montes a day
  51. 1:44and like I really like how I feel in
  52. 1:47caffeine but I definitely was super
  53. 1:48addicted like to the point where I like
  54. 1:50could not function without caffeine and
  55. 1:51it was like really bad like it long-term
  56. 1:54was a detriment in that I was unable to
  57. 1:56work because I was feel I I was unable
  58. 1:59to work because I felt so exhausted from
  59. 2:01just like not
  60. 2:04having caffeine. So, I'll definitely be
  61. 2:06careful with how I approach it. Some of
  62. 2:07the people that I'm talking about are
  63. 2:08drinking like more than like 1,000
  64. 2:10milligs a day. And like while that might
  65. 2:12be fine for your body, like technically,
  66. 2:14like for me, it was like was really bad.
  67. 2:16I would not recommend it. Time block
  68. 2:19your day. I feel like there's definitely
  69. 2:21times where you have to be like locked
  70. 2:22in and stuff and you have to be like
  71. 2:23focused and time blocked and like have
  72. 2:25like a goal and a mission. And I also
  73. 2:27feel like there's times where uh it's
  74. 2:29like important to be like spontaneous
  75. 2:31and creative and experimental. Like I
  76. 2:33feel like if you're constantly just time
  77. 2:34blocking everything, uh life will just
  78. 2:37like fly past you. It'll all become
  79. 2:38super
  80. 2:40the same. And yeah, uh anyways, I hope
  81. 2:43you enjoyed the
