  1. 0:00If you are currently a student and in a
  2. 0:02few years you don't want to end up like
  3. 0:05the vast majority of people around you
  4. 0:07—broke, stressed, and always chasing
  5. 0:10the next paycheck—at this stage of
  6. 0:12your life, you should focus on one
  7. 0:14single thing: earning your first €
  8. 0:1610,000. When I started university, I
  9. 0:19had to begin supporting myself, and I
  10. 0:20didn't have a single euro saved or any
  11. 0:22shred of qualification. I was studying
  12. 0:24at the time, but I had enormous
  13. 0:26ambition, and instead of losing my mind
  14. 0:28over those videos that promise you
  15. 0:30Lamborghinis only to leave you with
  16. 0:32nothing, I set myself a smaller,
  17. 0:34achievable goal: earning my first €
  18. 0:3610,000. And I remember from that
  19. 0:38experience that it was, one, extremely
  20. 0:40difficult, and two, the most important
  21. 0:42thing in my life, because I understood
  22. 0:44how to do it once and knew then that I
  23. 0:46could repeat it infinitely. And the
  24. 0:48most absurd thing is that it will be
  25. 0:49much easier for you, as a student, than
  26. 0:51for 40-year-olds with a job. In this
  27. 0:53video, I will show you exactly, step by
  28. 0:55step, what I would do today to earn my
  29. 0:58first 10k. Let's begin. Okay. When we
  30. 1:01strip away the noise of crypto, the
  31. 1:03absurd startup dreams, and the fake
  32. 1:05gurus in Dubai living in rented studios
  33. 1:07, there are only four real ways to make
  34. 1:09your first money as a student; and
  35. 1:11three of these have a limit you don't
  36. 1:12see until you hit it, but we'll talk
  37. 1:14about that in a moment. The first way
  38. 1:17is providing services to people, so we
  39. 1:19have the absolute classics: tutoring,
  40. 1:21working as a personal trainer at the
  41. 1:23gym, deliveries, pet sitting, nail tech
  42. 1:25work, and event photography. Okay, I
  43. 1:27know these things seem trivial to you,
  44. 1:29but they are the fastest ways to get
  45. 1:30paid. They cost very little to start,
  46. 1:32you need a skill you can learn quite
  47. 1:34quickly, but they aren't the best way
  48. 1:36to reach those € 10,000. The first
  49. 1:37€ 1,000 comes from these classic ways
  50. 1:39. The problem is that you are chained
  51. 1:41to your city, you work for one person,
  52. 1:42and then there's a cap, which is your
  53. 1:44time—you can't have more than 24
  54. 1:45hours in a day, so there's a limit. The
  55. 1:48second way is selling products made by
  56. 1:50you. Homemade cakes, crafts, prints,
  57. 1:53mugs, farm-to-table produce if you have
  58. 1:55a plot of land somewhere—in short,
  59. 1:57your own stuff. It’s beautiful. But
  60. 1:59if you enjoy doing it, it costs you a
  61. 2:01lot of time, materials eat up your
  62. 2:02profits, and you put in so many hours
  63. 2:04for just a few pennies. Third, we sell
  64. 2:06global products using the internet.
  65. 2:10Dropshipping, print on demand, sneaker
  66. 2:12reselling, your own clothing brand.
  67. 2:15Things get much bigger here and a bit
  68. 2:16more interesting too, because
  69. 2:18effectively, the whole world can buy
  70. 2:19from you. But the catch, even in this
  71. 2:22case, is that often you first have to
  72. 2:23spend a lot of money to be able to earn
  73. 2:25; maybe you have to buy 10 items to
  74. 2:26resell them. In short, it becomes quite
  75. 2:29a mess and it takes a lot of time
  76. 2:30before you see any real profit. Here
  77. 2:32too, the ceiling is capital and your
  78. 2:34patience. So we have three that have a
  79. 2:37limit, they put a ceiling over your
  80. 2:38head which could be capital, margins,
  81. 2:40or your time, while the fourth way is
  82. 2:41the only one that, as a student, leaves
  83. 2:43you infinite growth margins and is the
  84. 2:44easiest. So the question becomes: "What
  85. 2:47is this fourth path that is so easy and
  86. 2:49favorable for me as a student?" And the
  87. 2:51fourth path, my friend, is online
  88. 2:53services. Writing copy that sells,
  89. 2:56editing someone's videos, creating
  90. 2:58thumbnails, or managing someone's ads
  91. 3:00or social media. They are the only
  92. 3:02thing that takes the best from the
  93. 3:04other three and throws away the worst.
  94. 3:05Because with online services, you get
  95. 3:07high margins from personal services; in
  96. 3:09the end, you are selling your head and
  97. 3:10your intelligence. From global products
  98. 3:13, like dropshipping, you get the
  99. 3:15ability to reach the whole world via
  100. 3:16the internet, and from local products,
  101. 3:18you get the fact that it is your own
  102. 3:20product, so it's not something you buy
  103. 3:22from someone else. But now I must be
  104. 3:24completely honest with you; I'm not
  105. 3:26telling you that I'm earning money
  106. 3:28online while sitting in my pajamas
  107. 3:29doing my own thing, no. I'm telling you
  108. 3:31that this is real work, where you still
  109. 3:33have to bust your ass with real clients
  110. 3:35who demand things. But it's a type of
  111. 3:37work that we will see shortly, one by
  112. 3:39one, with the best effort-to-reward
  113. 3:40ratio, and it is absolutely the best
  114. 3:42thing for those starting completely
  115. 3:44from scratch. And if a lightbulb has
  116. 3:47gone off for you so far like "Oh wow, I
  117. 3:48can do something really cool," remember
  118. 3:50to subscribe to the channel because
  119. 3:51that's what I do here every week. I
  120. 3:54take abstract and complicated stuff and
  121. 3:56make it simple and, above all, concrete
  122. 3:58. Okay, now let's see where everyone
  123. 4:00hits a wall, which is? "Yeah, but I
  124. 4:02don't know how to do anything good
  125. 4:03enough to get paid online." What? That
  126. 4:07is exactly the wrong way of thinking
  127. 4:08when you approach this. In fact, the
  128. 4:11service that I could go and sell online
  129. 4:12lies exactly where three things
  130. 4:14intersect. Question one, what am I
  131. 4:16better at than the average person?
  132. 4:18Question two: what would you be willing
  133. 4:19to learn for free just for the pleasure
  134. 4:21of doing it? Question three: what
  135. 4:23problem do companies have every single
  136. 4:25day? Where do these three questions
  137. 4:27intersect? That is where the service
  138. 4:29you can sell exists. And so as not to
  139. 4:31be vague, here are the services that
  140. 4:33online companies are looking for the
  141. 4:34most today, and that you can concretely
  142. 4:36start with. Number one, video editing.
  143. 4:39I say this from experience: YouTube
  144. 4:41editing, short video editing, and reels
  145. 4:43editing. I have at least five editors
  146. 4:45working on my channel, and three of
  147. 4:46them are university students.
  148. 4:48Thumbnails and graphics for short-form
  149. 4:50videos. In Italy, nobody knows how to
  150. 4:52make good thumbnails, so if you apply
  151. 4:54yourself and learn to make them as well
  152. 4:55as the ones you see on my channel—
  153. 4:56which no Italians are currently doing
  154. 4:58—write to me; I would be very happy
  155. 4:59to have you work with me. Number three,
  156. 5:01copywriting. Learn how the world of
  157. 5:05text works, the world of video scripts,
  158. 5:07how a hook works, how retention works,
  159. 5:09and how call-to-actions work. You have
  160. 5:13to hustle a little bit, but look,
  161. 5:14everything is available for free online
  162. 5:15, and there are plenty of people
  163. 5:17willing to pay for well-written content
  164. 5:18. I am the first one. Ad management.
  165. 5:22Today, with various clouds like GPT and
  166. 5:23Gemini, you can learn to manage ads
  167. 5:25extremely fast—meaning ad campaigns
  168. 5:26on Meta or Google for those selling
  169. 5:28online—because the vast majority of
  170. 5:30companies, the small businesses, don't
  171. 5:31know how to do it. And still staying
  172. 5:34online, we have social media management
  173. 5:36. There, too, it’s about creating and
  174. 5:38managing content for small businesses,
  175. 5:39and you don't need to learn them all;
  176. 5:41you just need one where the three
  177. 5:42skills we saw earlier intersect. So,
  178. 5:44now you have a skill and maybe your
  179. 5:46first client, the next question is: "
  180. 5:47Okay, but they only pay me € 50 for
  181. 5:49that little job, how do I get to €
  182. 5:5110,000?" There is a huge gap, and
  183. 5:52nobody explains how to bridge it, but
  184. 5:54I’ll take care of that now. And to
  185. 5:56transform those € 50 services into
  186. 5:58€ 10,000, you can use four levers, or
  187. 6:00rather, four tools that multiply your
  188. 6:02efforts. The first is positioning, and
  189. 6:05hold on tight, because the exact same
  190. 6:07service can be sold for € 50 or €
  191. 6:095,000, and most of the time, it doesn't
  192. 6:11depend on how good you are, but on who
  193. 6:13is in front of you—who your client is
  194. 6:15. In fact, what you need to know—and
  195. 6:18remember this for the rest of your life
  196. 6:20, I tell you from experience because
  197. 6:22when I discovered it, it changed my
  198. 6:23life—is that companies don't think
  199. 6:25about money like individual people do.
  200. 6:28For a company billing 30, 40, 50, or
  201. 6:30€ 100,000 a month, spending € 2,000
  202. 6:32or € 5,000 to solve a problem isn't
  203. 6:35an expense, it's an investment, a
  204. 6:37multiplier. Because if solving that
  205. 6:39problem makes them more money, why
  206. 6:40wouldn't they spend it? Not a
  207. 6:42copywriter who makes € 2 texts with
  208. 6:44ChatGPT, but a copywriter who creates
  209. 6:46texts that make companies sell. Lever
  210. 6:48number two is value. Companies don't
  211. 6:50pay for your effort or how much time
  212. 6:52you spend, get that through your head.
  213. 6:54Companies pay for the value you create
  214. 6:56for them. So stop—or trust me—never
  215. 6:58start charging by the hour, but get
  216. 7:00paid for the value you create. For
  217. 7:02example, managing a company's
  218. 7:03advertising campaigns. If you charge by
  219. 7:05the hour, they will try to make you
  220. 7:06work as few hours as possible, to set a
  221. 7:08limit. But if you charge based on the
  222. 7:09results you bring them, on the revenue
  223. 7:11you generate with your ads, suddenly
  224. 7:13the person paying you no longer thinks
  225. 7:14about how much you cost, but how much
  226. 7:16they earn. You’ll gladly pay more to
  227. 7:18someone who makes you money. If you
  228. 7:19cost me 10 and make me earn 20, I’ll
  229. 7:21pay you forever—why wouldn't I? But
  230. 7:23positioning and value, unfortunately,
  231. 7:25are useless without the other two
  232. 7:27levers, because 95%of people either
  233. 7:29deliver late or cannot be found by
  234. 7:31others, and that immediately burns all
  235. 7:33opportunities. So, lever number three
  236. 7:36simply consists of making yourself
  237. 7:37found, because the game isn't chasing
  238. 7:39your clients hat in hand, but making
  239. 7:41sure they are the ones looking for you.
  240. 7:42And to do that, what can you do? Use
  241. 7:45social media, post your work always—
  242. 7:46even if you're just starting, even if
  243. 7:48it sucks—show the process you're
  244. 7:49going through. Do you edit videos? Show
  245. 7:51the before and after. Do you make
  246. 7:53thumbnails? Explain why that one got
  247. 7:55more clicks. Man, there are tons of
  248. 7:56people abroad making a ton of money
  249. 7:58with this thumbnail thing. Are you
  250. 7:59learning social media? Show how you
  251. 8:01grow a profile from scratch. I assure
  252. 8:02you, you'll find your inbox and DMs
  253. 8:04full of companies that will want to
  254. 8:05work with you. Lever number 4, and this
  255. 8:08is where I’d say 98%of people crash.
  256. 8:11I need to be really clear here: it's
  257. 8:13about reliability, the most underrated
  258. 8:15thing on the planet. It's not talent
  259. 8:18that gets you paid, but the fact that
  260. 8:19you deliver when you said you would,
  261. 8:20and that you reply to messages clearly
  262. 8:22and precisely. And I'll put it to you
  263. 8:24bluntly and straight, okay? People
  264. 8:25don't keep working with you because
  265. 8:27you're a genius or because you're
  266. 8:28talented. They work with you again if
  267. 8:29you're not a problem and you deliver
  268. 8:31results. And these four levers together
  269. 8:33are what turn a € 50 skill into a €
  270. 8:3510,000 job. And once you start seeing
  271. 8:38your first 1,000, 2,000, 5,000, €
  272. 8:3910,000 in your account, the next
  273. 8:41question is: "Okay, Giuseppe, but now
  274. 8:43what do I do with this money?" And I
  275. 8:45give you the answer in this video on
  276. 8:47the right, where I explain how I would
  277. 8:48invest if I were a student, and it's
  278. 8:49neither about stocks nor the stock
  279. 8:51market. Thank you for watching, and
  280. 8:53always unleash your potential. Best
  281. 8:55wishes.
