Cocky AI Company (Higgsfield) Finally Got Humbled. — Transcript

- 0:00AI companies have become extremely cocky
- 0:02these days. Some of them are even taking
- 0:04it to an absurd level by threatening to
- 0:06take over people's jobs. Well, when you
- 0:08make such claims, get ready for the
- 0:11people to strike back. There are tons of
- 0:13AI image video generation companies, but
- 0:16the most disgusting and the most
- 0:18corrupted one is Hicksfield AI. And it's
- 0:21not only about the aggressive marketing,
- 0:23the bold claims about changing the movie
- 0:25industry or replacing creators, it's
- 0:27about the overall messaging that they're
- 0:29trying to push, which is pretty pretty
- 0:31nasty. They position themselves as a
- 0:34revolutionary tool for creatives. Well,
- 0:36it is revolutionary in the way they scam
- 0:39people. The most important thing I want
- 0:41you to remember throughout the whole
- 0:42video that these companies, none of
- 0:44them, absolutely none of them are trying
- 0:46to help creators. These are
- 0:47corporations, big people behind it, who
- 0:50have zero connections with art, just
- 0:51trying to make money off the broken
- 0:53creators, of the broken artists who can
- 0:55barely afford renting an apartment. This
- 0:57is what they are. Their main goal is to
- 0:58make you buy an overpriced subscription
- 1:00for a month, which gives you 1,000
- 1:02tokens that you can easily spend within
- 1:04an hour because the generation is so bad
- 1:06and it's like a gambling. On average, it
- 1:08takes 60 videos to generate one single
- 1:11clip.
- 1:12One [ __ ] single clip. We'll get to
- 1:14the math side of it later on in the
- 1:15video, but trust me, you'll get [ __ ]
- 1:17shocked. So, Hicksfield AI, a startup
- 1:20from Kazakhstan that became so popular
- 1:22with their aggressive marketing, even
- 1:23Jesus' resurrection is not that much of
- 1:25a thing anymore. For the past year,
- 1:27they've been making bold claims that
- 1:28they made feature films and even one of
- 1:30them made it to the Cannes Film
- 1:32Festival, one of the most prestigious
- 1:34movie ceremonies in the world. But FYI,
- 1:37anyone can get into the Cannes these
- 1:39days. It's just a matter of the money.
- 1:40You can even buy red carpet ticket along
- 1:42with some Hollywood stars. I mean, it's
- 1:44not that much of a thing anymore. But in
- 1:46case of Hicksfield, the situation is
- 1:48even funnier. Hellgrind, which is the
- 1:50name of their AI movie, didn't even get
- 1:52accepted to the official festival
- 1:54program on artistic merit. They
- 1:56literally rented out a local public
- 1:58commercial theater, Cinema Olympia,
- 2:01premiere their movie there, asking all
- 2:03the major news outlets, tabloids, and
- 2:05tech blogs to post an article about this
- 2:07[ __ ] So, I think it's a rather
- 2:08confident claim considering all the wild
- 2:11controversies going around the company.
- 2:13First things first,
- 2:14the narrative. In February 2026,
- 2:17Hicksfield's marketing team took AI
- 2:19replacing humans narrative to a toxic
- 2:21extreme. They posted a brag about it on
- 2:23Twitter claiming that their new AI
- 2:25motion design tool was so efficient it
- 2:28allowed them to fire more than 20
- 2:29creative professionals and push them
- 2:31into the unemployment line. Their
- 2:33marketing team are a bunch of toddlers,
- 2:35it seems to me. Their primary user base
- 2:37consists of artists, creators, editors,
- 2:40animators, so internet just exploded in
- 2:43fury. The creative community called them
- 2:45out for actively celebrating the
- 2:46destruction of artists' careers.
- 2:49>> What the [ __ ] kind of messaging is this?
- 2:51You claim to be a tool for creative
- 2:53people, and your headline is that you're
- 2:54destroying creative jobs? Are you dumb?
- 2:57>> Animation and motion design no longer
- 2:59need humans and can be made completely
- 3:01by AI.
- 3:02>> You know they don't really give a [ __ ]
- 3:03right? This situation perfectly
- 3:05highlights this anti-creator ethos that
- 3:08is going around behind the doors within
- 3:11the company. This is like the company
- 3:13narrative. If their marketing team is
- 3:14promoting this kind of stuff, it comes
- 3:16from [music] the C-levels and the rest
- 3:17of the gang. The post was quickly
- 3:19deleted and they even apologized to the
- 3:20creators [music] in the video.
- 3:22>> I'm sorry, it's only me.
- 3:25>> [music]
- 3:26>> I need you here.
- 3:27>> Hey guys, we're very sorry about that.
- 3:29How about we give you a 65% discount on
- 3:31our overpriced subscriptions, 1,000
- 3:34tokens, so you can spend um a [ __ ]
- 3:36fortune. We're very sorry to replace
- 3:38humans, but our CEO is a greedy [ __ ]
- 3:40who just wants to earn as much money as
- 3:42possible. Maybe you'll be better in your
- 3:43next life as a dog or a capybara.
- 3:45>> You see, for Hicksfield AI, one
- 3:47humiliation was not enough. They wanted
- 3:49more. They wanted to look even more
- 3:51stupid. When promoting their
- 3:52text-to-video tool Vibe Motion, creators
- 3:55noticed that the same sample clips in
- 3:57the media promotional packages didn't
- 3:58look like AI at all. They looked like
- 4:00traditional handcrafted human animation.
- 4:03And there was another case raised by a
- 4:04creator where he claimed that Hicksfield
- 4:06reused shots from their work, made minor
- 4:08adjustments, and then presented the
- 4:10result as AI-generated content. When
- 4:12called out, Hicksfield's PR had to
- 4:14backtrack, claiming they accidentally
- 4:16included an internal human-made
- 4:17brainstorming assets into the public
- 4:20kit. Oh my god, really? Accidentally?
- 4:23That's what she said. You see, the thing
- 4:24I hate more than AI companies like
- 4:26Hicksfield is this corporate lingo
- 4:28they're using to try to cover their
- 4:30mistakes. This is disgusting, you
- 4:35[ __ ] Oh my god, what is this? Look,
- 4:38it's a multi-million dollar AI company
- 4:40that relies on traditional human hands
- 4:42to make a promotional video for their AI
- 4:44animation tool. Oh my god, what the [ __ ]
- 4:46happened? So, now you suddenly need
- 4:47this? You need this? You don't need a
- 4:50prompt? You are disgusting. Okay, so now
- 4:53I want to get back to that shitty movie
- 4:54they made for Can because the numbers
- 4:56here are crazy. Let me break it down for
- 4:59you. Hello, kids, and welcome to math
- 5:02with Jack. In today's lesson, we're
- 5:04going to be talking about how an AI
- 5:05company is trying to [ __ ] you up and how
- 5:08to avoid it. Let's do the math. So, to
- 5:11produce just the first 25 minutes of
- 5:13their movie, they had to generate 16,000
- 5:15clips. 16,000. And the whole movie is
- 5:18like 90 minutes. Out of those 16,000
- 5:21generations, only 253 shots were
- 5:23actually usable. That's a 64-to-1
- 5:25curation ratio. Chill out, gang, it's
- 5:27just 64. Their top-tier ultra plan for
- 5:30$129
- 5:32per month gives you 3,000 credits. On
- 5:34paper, it sounds like an endless buffet.
- 5:36But here is the trap. Every time you
- 5:38click on generate anything, it will take
- 5:40the cut. A single high-quality 5-second
- 5:43clip using C-Dance or VO3 costs around
- 5:4640 to 50 tokens. I'm sorry, credits.
- 5:49Credits. If you do the math, your entire
- 5:51monthly subscription can disappear
- 5:53within an hour. And that's assuming that
- 5:54AI will give you what you ask for from
- 5:56the first try. Because in most cases,
- 5:59it's a gambling story. It's like a
- 6:00[ __ ] slot machine. People who use AI
- 6:02can confirm that sometimes it takes
- 6:04dozens of tries to get this one single
- 6:06shot perfectly. That the face doesn't
- 6:08merge in the background or something. Or
- 6:10you know, you don't have a third hand
- 6:11coming out of your ass. Well, let's say
- 6:13you're generating a 60-second fast-paced
- 6:15stick talk about vegetables cheating on
- 6:17each other. To keep up with the low
- 6:18attention span, you'll probably need
- 6:20like 15 [music] quick shots. And if you
- 6:22have to generate each of these 15 shots
- 6:2410 to 20 times because the AI doesn't
- 6:26work perfectly, congratulations. You
- 6:29just [ __ ] up your money and wasted
- 6:30your entire subscription [music] in a
- 6:32minute. And just to finish this
- 6:33vegetable video, you would have to buy
- 6:35additional credits, which usually cost a
- 6:37fortune. So, what was the cost of making
- 6:39that AI movie?
- 6:42It's $400,000.
- 6:44Bear in mind that their main base of
- 6:46customers are independent creators,
- 6:48video editors, artists, [music]
- 6:50and motion designers. Not the studios,
- 6:53not the billion-dollar [ __ ] Hollywood
- 6:55or whatever. This is utterly disgusting
- 6:58considering that they want to replace
- 6:59[music] us. The lesson
- 7:02is over.
- 7:03But the real tragedy of this whole
- 7:05hustle isn't just the broken software or
- 7:08the overpriced credits. It's the army of
- 7:11sellouts who are weaponizing it. The
- 7:13self-proclaimed creatives and
- 7:15performative video editors who are
- 7:17locked into promotional contracts with
- 7:19platforms like Higgsfield. They are
- 7:21essentially functioning as a corporate
- 7:23advertising bots. Their entire job is to
- 7:25flood your feed with hyper-saturated,
- 7:27sensorially overloaded videos, neon text
- 7:30flashing, infinite camera zooms,
- 7:32constant change of frames every 0.5
- 7:34seconds, bass drops, crazy sound design,
- 7:36while trying to pass it off as a peak of
- 7:38human creativity. When you put Put all
- 7:40these hypersensitive dopamine fixed
- 7:42video edits and sound design behind you,
- 7:46what are you looking at?
- 7:48Exactly, nothing. It's a completely
- 7:51meaningless crap being creative for the
- 7:53sake of being creative. There is no
- 7:54narrative, no theme, zero emotional
- 7:57resonance. It looks too perfect. It
- 7:59looks like a sequence of disconnected
- 8:01random clips mixed with AI images and AI
- 8:04video transitions that are stitched
- 8:06together under this sauce of creativity
- 8:08just to pass it to the algorithm. These
- 8:10creators are not pushing boundaries of
- 8:12art. They're not doing anything
- 8:13creative. They're just promoting a
- 8:15product. [music] They use
- 8:17overstimulation to mask a shallow,
- 8:19broken tool, gaslighting an entire
- 8:21generation of creators, artisans, video
- 8:23editors that this thing, this shitty
- 8:25thing going to take over their jobs.
- 8:26That the line of front going to replace
- 8:27the thing that they've been doing for so
- 8:29long because they love it. They love it
- 8:31with their heart. Pixelfy AI sells you
- 8:33an illusion, an absolute [ __ ] AI
- 8:35slop, and they dress it up as the future
- 8:37of humanity. The thing we are forgetting
- 8:40in this whole era of AI is that
- 8:42imperfections is what makes us human.
- 8:45Imperfections in our craft is what makes
- 8:47it unique. It's what makes it art. It's
- 8:49what makes it artwork. That's why we'll
- 8:51never be able to reach perfection
- 8:53because the minute you reach it,
- 8:55you become dead.
- 8:57Your work is dead. Humans are imperfect
- 8:59beings. This what makes us special. This
- 9:02why we, as members of the human race,
- 9:04shouldn't reach perfection. Shouldn't
- 9:06reach AI. And I mean, why even start a
- 9:09drawing, writing, acting, video editing
- 9:12if now you can replace it with a prompt?
- 9:15That means you didn't really like it
- 9:16after all.
- 9:18And your main goal was to kill it.
- 9:22Not to
- 9:23create it.
