- 0:00In this video, scientist Te Reynold
- 0:02Clieter tries to challenge a hotshot
- 0:03Christian apologist. Oven, sure that he
- 0:06would put him in a tough spot, but ends
- 0:08up regretting it quickly. Oven's answer
- 0:11is simply brilliant. I'm confused.
- 0:22Being philosophically coherent and a
- 0:24very honest person, I'm sure you can
- 0:26tell me where God came from. And
- 0:32furthermore, besides that, once you
- 0:34tell me where God came from, please try
- 0:37to clarify how you can imagine a
- 0:39spiritual force can impact a material
- 0:42universe to create it. I think we
- 0:46talked about this kind of thing in
- 0:48philosophical circles years ago. Anyway
- 0:51, raising the question: if angels are
- 0:53made of spiritual matter and a pen is
- 0:56made of material matter and spiritual
- 0:58matter occupies no space, how many
- 1:00angels can dance on the tip of a pen? I
- 1:04have the feeling of having a kind of
- 1:07déjà vu experience, but please,
- 1:09proceed.
- 1:11I have 5 minutes, I just want to know
- 1:13which question. All right. You can use
- 1:14the rest of the minutes. One question
- 1:16at a time. Which one do you want?
- 1:17I want you to explain the rest of the
- 1:19story about the beginning of the
- 1:20universe. God, spiritual matter, and
- 1:22the impact on material matter.
- 1:24OK. So, two questions. Let's go.
- 1:28Your question: "Where did God come from
- 1:29?" Parts from a false assumption.
- 1:31Obviously, it shows you're thinking of
- 1:33the wrong God, because the God of the
- 1:35Bible is not affected by time, space,
- 1:37or matter. If he were affected by time,
- 1:39space, or matter, he wouldn't be God.
- 1:41Time, space, and matter are what we
- 1:43call a continuum. The three must have
- 1:45come into existence at the same instant
- 1:47. Because if there were matter but no
- 1:49space, where would you put it? If there
- 1:52were matter and space but no time, when
- 1:54would you put it? You cannot have time,
- 1:56space, or matter independently. They
- 1:58must arise simultaneously. And the
- 2:01Bible answers this in 10 words, right
- 2:02at the beginning of Genesis. In the
- 2:04beginning, here is time. God created
- 2:07the heavens, here is space, and the
- 2:09earth, here is matter. So you have time
- 2:12, space, and matter created, a trinity
- 2:14of trinities. See, time is divided into
- 2:16past, present, and future. Space has
- 2:19length, width, and height. And matter
- 2:21exists in solid, liquid, and gas. A
- 2:23trinity of trinities created instantly.
- 2:25And the God who created them must be
- 2:27outside of them. If he were limited by
- 2:29time, he wouldn't be God. The man who
- 2:31created this computer is not inside the
- 2:33computer. He is not running around in
- 2:34there, changing the numbers on the
- 2:36screen. In the same way, the God who
- 2:37created this universe is outside of it.
- 2:39He is above, beyond, within, and
- 2:41through it, yet remains unaffected by
- 2:43it. And as for the concept that a
- 2:46spiritual force cannot affect a
- 2:47material body, well, then you would
- 2:49have to explain to me emotions, love,
- 2:50hate, envy, jealousy, and rationality.
- 2:54I mean, if your brain is just a random
- 2:56collection of chemicals formed by
- 2:58chance over billions of years, how can
- 3:00you trust your own reasoning processes
- 3:02and the thoughts you have? So, your
- 3:07question, where did God come from,
- 3:09stems from the idea of a limited God?
- 3:11And that is your mistake. The God whom
- 3:13I worship is not limited by time, space
- 3:15, or matter. If I could fit the
- 3:17infinite God inside my 3-pound brain,
- 3:19He certainly wouldn't be worthy of
- 3:21worship. And that is the God I worship.
- 3:23Thank you.
- 3:26The answer from the one who hears you
- 3:28is not just brilliant. It is a powerful
- 3:30reminder that God is above time, space,
- 3:32and matter. He is the creator of all
- 3:35things, the beginning and the end, the
- 3:37One who has always existed and who
- 3:39continues to call each of us to know
- 3:40Him personally. The same God who
- 3:43created the universe with His word
- 3:44wants to transform your heart today. It
- 3:47is not just about logic or philosophy,
- 3:49it is about faith, purpose, and eternal
- 3:51love. If this message has touched you,
- 3:54open your heart to God right now. Ask
- 3:57Him to reveal Himself in your life and
- 3:59show you that He is real. Like, share
- 4:02this video, and send it to someone who
- 4:04needs to hear this truth. For faith
- 4:06comes by hearing, and hearing by the
- 4:08word of God. In the beginning, God
- 4:10created the heavens and the earth.
- 4:13Genesis 1. And that same God continues
- 4:16to create new stories, including yours.
