0:57so we don't want to take you you know
1:00all day and we really do appreciate
1:03being able to sit down and talk with us
1:06there's if you think we want to kind of
1:08clear up wrap up and then get any
1:12questions for us

1:19did you want to talk about Ronnie little
1:21bitter chucked your dad what are at

1:23oh and a couple things we talked about
1:26your property and waiting on the DA's
1:28office but then he also reason he called

1:43about he doesn't even know we're here

2:33so fortunately unfortunately I don't
2:37know how you want to look at it but we
2:39need to get a tiny bit more into the
2:40weeds and into the mechanics of the time
2:44that you showed up at the house when
2:46officer Coonrod was there till the time
2:49we were all done talking so that
2:54includes at the house that includes at
2:56the oil site and everything and part of
2:59the reason we need to get into that
3:00business I mentioned before how we're
3:05just really want to get into the mindset
3:08of what happened and you can imagine
3:11this is really important for us in the
3:14future when we're talking to a guy
3:15that's in your position to say you know
3:18this isn't really a monster this is more
3:20like a Chris watts and boy we remember
3:23with Chris had we asked this or Hadley
3:25done this we really could have been
3:28better
3:28and so that's why we want to get into
3:31the mechanics of it a little bit more
3:32with you and that's going to mean
3:35exactly how exactly when where were you
3:39what was you know Janette wearing or all
3:41of that so we really just need
3:45for you to take a deep breath and get
3:47into it with us and would be alright if
3:49we ask you some specific questions okay
3:51so one of the first things we want to
3:54talk about was when you came home so
3:57this is after they had passed and you
4:00came home and they thought mr. Krugman
4:02rod one of the first things we see on
4:04the video is she walking into the garage
4:06and into the Shannon's car remember what
4:10that was about
4:10in your car yeah like I think you open
4:12the doors yeah you open the passenger
4:14door and it looks like you're looking
4:16for something I really picked something
4:18up like sheeps or something Nicky was
4:32saying I think I see the car seats going
4:34yeah when I opened up the door I look
4:38down just like a first like a reaction
4:41of like everybody's just waiting pretty
4:43much waiting in the house right right I
4:47would like looking for
4:48as far as specific or anything but I was
4:53this reaction going in there and another
4:56buddies that sharehouse a lot of it was
5:04okay and then backing up a tiny bit I
5:08come before you too far so she comes
5:13home at 2:00 in the morning she gets
5:17into bed was when you guys had sex
5:21together was that pretty quickly after
5:22she came home
5:23thank you around like 2:30 because she
5:26thought I should be in bed okay and
5:30forgive me it's it's not a pervy thing
5:33but she woke you up
5:35yes she was just I could feel like I
5:37feel like a hand without guys like rub
5:39my leg or my chest herself ever and then
5:41that was you know signal let's go time
5:43Technic pretty much is like yeah okay I
5:47get it
5:47and then that was maybe a half an hour
5:49after and then after that is there any
5:53talking or was it just kind of quiet in
5:57the middle of the night just like I
6:00decided still I saw her hand around me
6:02honestly it's time to go yeah okay
6:04that's funny all right
6:07then a couple hours of sleep alarm goes
6:11off okay I guess what I don't understand
6:13is so then they were some talking
6:17and how did you get on top of her how
6:19did that happen it's like when I got
6:21into bed I just pretty good she was
6:22laying as she was she was sleeping she
6:26was lying like facedown I just got in
6:30the bed and I kind of nudged her and
6:31then she like kind of rolled over and
6:32then I was just like just like right
6:33there on top okay
6:35and so that was after you've gotten
6:36ready okay so you go down you make your
6:39food garlic okay and then so this is we
6:46talked a little bit earlier today about
6:47you know there was all of these things
6:49playing in your mind were a Justin even
6:51want to go another second without having
6:53this conversation or without some sort
6:54of completion right and then so you come
6:57back she's asleep
6:58and then you just kind of nudge her and
7:04was there nudge talk for 20 minutes or
7:06that is nudge and then all of a sudden
7:07you're on top of her and was there
7:15talking okay and so I love a talk she's
7:18laying down and you're standing up I was
7:21on I was like I crawled back I got on my
7:24side of the bed uh-huh sound asleep no
7:26no okay
7:27and then you're talking while you're on
7:30top okay that seems confusing to me is
7:33that actually what happened okay and so
7:37if she was fine like this laying there
7:39are you trying to talk to her while
7:40you're okay and how long do you talk
7:48really in that position okay and what
7:51there any sex okay and and I will harp
8:01on it too much but I'm just trying to
8:03think if my wife's four months pregnant
8:07and it's five o'clock in the morning and
8:09I want to talk and I want to get on top
8:11of her that's just not gonna fly so
8:13that's why I'm a confused is that really
8:16what happened here okay
8:16and then talk for about 15 minutes and
8:19then it's heated and then your hands are
8:22out of that what did this hot well what
8:28did the top basically just no at first
8:33it was more like the song the house type
8:37of thing or not going to Aspen or trying
8:39to
8:39a different time and they're just
8:41switched off
8:45or inaudible
8:49I got heated part of it
8:52she ever had at some point get off in
8:54here
8:56that's what you said I want you to felt
8:59like you know cuz where I was it's kind
9:01of like she didn't want me like to you
9:03know sit down like hurt the baby did she
9:07accuse you of cheating at that point so
9:11what she said
9:14you know there's somebody else

9:38so that was I'm sure they're choosing at
9:40the beach it was a lot of like there's

9:45got back home she always like said

9:49she died was softer friendly Christina
9:51her somebody on text messaging and
9:54they'd always say there's gotta be
9:56somebody else he's not wanting to sleep
9:58with you like he's getting it from
9:59somewhere else
10:01there's no
10:03there's nowhere else for me she can
10:06really say that we'll get anywhere else
10:07cuz I was using the vendor to gift cards
10:09so it's not like now she this means me
10:12getting distant but she knew I just
10:16managed reason why I talked to her
10:18exactly like after that night there was
10:19just like it felt like had to stuff
10:21guilty more guilty than ever before
10:27and then it seems to me sorry a lot of
10:33thoughts here so we know what happened
10:35and we can talk about it today kind of
10:37openly and that's what we need from you
10:39is to just have a say you know I know it
10:41sounds bad or I know this right now I
10:43feel this way but physically this is
10:45exactly what happened so if you can tell
10:47us that it seems then that it would have
10:50had to been a pretty quick transition
10:52from two people talking to this yeah
10:54right is that what happened we were
11:02talking about but it was
11:08oh that's perfect Christmas exactly what
11:12we need
11:12I know it's hard to walk through that
11:14again but that's exactly so then as soon
11:18as she started talking like that then it
11:19was on okay but it was you saying that

11:27imagine how that made you feel sorry
11:30yeah and then the fact that she didn't
11:37scratch at you or anything is that just
11:39because it was so powerful Billy I don't
11:47even know what kind of force I was
11:49putting on her neck I could set you to
11:54four minutes I don't know what that was
11:55did you cover her face at all during
11:58that time
11:59both hands on the neck okay and so if
12:03it's done right I mean that can be a
12:04matter of seconds to force someone on
12:06their carotid loses oxygen to their
12:08grants outright did it seem like it was
12:10that quicker okay maybe a minute maybe
12:12two

12:23like that
12:27kept talking about the mascara did you
12:29see mascara on her face yes that looked
12:31like it was asleep

30:23and we decided to go out there on Monday
30:26to do it's Friday and he had like to
30:28switch to either he started in or swish
30:30swish lines or cover it up and see if it
30:33was gonna come back or not
30:34okay then that's more specifically you

56:45was definitely stressful just vacuuming
56:48like every other day and cooking was

56:59they live they were down in the basement
57:00so I was I was always really trying to
57:02girls upstairs while they were sleeping
57:04so you know they're running around
57:05downstairs and they want to wake up I

59:22so it was just it all mounted up and
59:24that I never thought it was that farted
59:27on but it was any of that from Shannon's
59:30neck surgery or those well I think the
59:34bankruptcy never touched the medical
59:37part of it because it's F the FBI like
59:41five they're like the medical part of
59:43the medical bankruptcy and then there's
59:45like regular bankers you know helping
59:46things you ever touches like student
59:49loans or medical stuff yeah this
59:52specific I think you just took away like
59:56a lot of furniture that we had bought
59:58and then a couple other things inside

1:15:56point it's like in my head it never

1:16:04I got see pictures I just know like you
1:16:07know where they were at when they were
1:16:08doing that no work when I first had like
1:16:11a some type of hearing over the phone
1:16:13and I heard like Frank and sandy and
1:16:16Frankie and them they're on the phone
1:16:18and I forgot what kind of hearing it was
1:16:21something about like a probate hearing
1:16:23or something I'm doing exactly where
1:16:25they were on the back I heard the birds
1:16:26chirp I knew they were on the back deck
1:16:27and I just like walked back to my cell
1:16:29just bawled my eyes out some people have
1:16:31to go to work and I'm in town the girls
1:16:34were over back there and
1:16:37is this weird huh emotions process is
1:16:39differently for me than everybody else I
1:16:41[Music]
1:16:42something like you said like you said
1:16:44like oh you lost your kids in the
1:16:47grocery store for five seconds she'd be
1:16:48a mess and that like
1:16:53for me if you like to know how to be
1:16:55panic laughs I would cry I'd be like
1:16:57like looking around trying to find them
1:16:58but it's like they just prosecute
1:16:59different I mean I never knew why there
1:17:02were no one
1:17:12I don't think I'm like a cold-hearted
1:17:13person it's just a matter
1:17:16don't show it
1:17:18emotion as much as
1:17:23even when like you know the girls left
1:17:26North Carolina I like you no chance for
1:17:28other mom and dad we're all crying
1:17:30when they left it's just kind of like
1:17:32you know and they really saw my parents
1:17:34get like that when they left
1:17:38kind of like I don't know if it's like
1:17:39or not like like your family doesn't
1:17:41show emotion like that anything yeah
1:17:44like you know my dad couldn't really
1:17:48speak at the sentencing hearing could he
1:17:49said he was kind of like he was he said
1:17:51you to lose it
1:17:52my emotion like that really hit me it's
1:17:55kinda like I've never seen him like you
1:17:57know like that for normal
1:18:03like nobody ever seen me that way maybe
1:18:06Ibis was ever like your [ __ ] if you're
1:18:08like that or was it just something you
1:18:11just remember did your mom like a loving
1:18:23mom like a doting mom and you know would
1:18:26give you affection and kisses oh yeah
1:18:28she'd always asked me like you know what
1:18:29was going on like oh it's always hard to
1:18:31read
1:18:32she ever and she never knew what was
1:18:33going on but she's still trying to give
1:18:35you affection even growing up yeah she
1:18:37just she always my sister is always
1:18:49always even if something even something
1:18:56was wrong like I would if I'd never said
1:18:58anything it's like I just myself
1:19:04that is growing up that way this kept me
1:19:06in that way
1:19:08deal with things on your own but they
1:19:10build up so much that you can't
1:19:12and they taken take a hold of you you've
1:19:15never done and a way to take
1:19:19you think as a result of this bottling
1:19:21up for so long
1:19:27remember you dad saying it's anything
1:19:30I remember
1:19:33there is a scripture of the one John 1-9
1:19:37and then like a lot of it the other
1:19:40their representatives that poured him my
1:19:44mom said a lot of my mom spoke but
1:19:47everything my dad had written down
1:19:49the first set but you know there's jumpy
1:19:52always
1:19:56braces and stuff like that going to
1:19:59being my coach and everything like that
1:20:01so no I
1:20:04experience the same type of joy doing
1:20:06that my girls I think leave your mom
1:20:10saying she loves you enjoy
1:20:14I think a banshee said I forgive you son

1:20:23we were just hoping and praying that
1:20:26take your dad's advice human what he
1:20:28said I hope you ever get a chance to
1:20:29talk talk about it
1:20:36then expected to be today
1:20:41the DA made some comments during that
1:20:42sentencing hearing about your emotions
1:20:45and having no emotion here remember all
1:20:48that yeah just you know you lied to us
1:20:51from the start and a couple others what
1:20:57do you think you think he was anywhere
1:21:00close what do you think what do you
1:21:02basically what is your opinion of what
1:21:03he said in that I mean it's it's gonna
1:21:06be you know taking all his evidence and
1:21:09putting in the story that he that he
1:21:11wanted to convey like if you don't know
1:21:14me that's where you're gonna that's why
1:21:16you're gonna frustrate me like if you
1:21:17take everything from August 13th to now
1:21:22like that's how people are that's how
1:21:24people there's no other way people are
1:21:26gonna opinionate themselves about me
1:21:28just by what they see right there okay I
1:21:31say okay they look at the guy that did
1:21:34that in the interviews on the 14th and
1:21:37they see look it up
1:21:38I got should it be like you know on his
1:21:40hands and knees like trying to knives
1:21:42out and what's he doing he just like you
1:21:43know just talking
1:21:45and they're just like now I know I never
1:21:50got some information maybe from like her
1:21:52friends saying oh he was cheating on her
1:21:54there's something like that he's a cold
1:21:55person he was you know trying to do this
1:21:57and that it's like they don't know me
1:22:00there that's always you're gonna be
1:22:01there
1:22:03there was one church service oh the only
1:22:05one I family God's doing here and so
1:22:07you're not defined by one moment in your
1:22:10life and I think that's like people are
1:22:13defining me by one for my moment my life
1:22:15they don't know what happened later no
1:22:22hopefully one day we start to stop
1:22:24judging anybody I just want the people
1:22:27in here that you know I don't even want
1:22:29to know what they did because I don't
1:22:30want to judge them you know I'm not that
1:22:32first like you know they know what I did
1:22:41you did show some emotion during that
1:22:43hearing what part did you think he felt
1:22:50I felt when Frank was talking about you
1:22:54know
1:22:57I didn't know what what the respect of
1:22:59each first start talking you know
1:23:02instead of the evil monster that that
1:23:04that rang in me and he's said I'd toss
1:23:07him away like garbage and hacker and you
1:23:10know when Sandy was talking about that
1:23:13video without a thought it was kind of a
1:23:16your hero and that that triggered it a
1:23:20lot there and then when Frankie was
1:23:22insane totally I'll never be caught up
1:23:24again I'm going to be held with dad
1:23:26again
1:23:29really stumped
1:23:35when my parents got up there it's like
1:23:37just hearing my mom and dad talk you
1:23:39know just like it was I couldn't look at
1:23:41me that thing doesn't look at me but I
1:23:42just felt like everything they said
1:23:47saying they forgive me and you know I'm
1:23:50still there something no matter what
1:23:56I know like you know my attorneys tell
1:23:58me like you need to show a little more
1:24:00emotion because like I say first time I
1:24:02went to the courtroom I didn't you know
1:24:03I didn't know what to expect
1:24:09due to everything you should shock about
1:24:11what's going on I thought I was just a
1:24:13cold person just looking at

1:24:18when I was pleased when I did the plea
1:24:20and at the sentencing hearing it is all
1:24:23it felt was more real than anything

1:24:35I've never grown up my past used to tell

1:24:38it's better to be
1:24:40one foot out of hell facing heaven and
1:24:42one foot out of heaven facing help so I
1:24:46think that's you been to heaven now
1:24:48you're facing the right direction I
1:24:52never knew I could have a relationship
1:24:54with God like anything now but that's
1:24:57like the amazing grace with all this but
1:24:59I just wish nobody had to pay any kind
1:25:00of price for this you know there's a
1:25:03purpose for everybody I just hope that

1:26:34people going on Inside Edition saying
1:26:36they knew
1:26:37like whatever else with me and there's
1:26:40like I don't I don't want them to think
1:26:43that it's like other like false
1:26:44information going out there because like
1:26:46people are getting hold information like
1:26:48where do they get this information from
1:26:49tight deal would you like to see those
1:26:51people charged

1:26:57situations you know they gotta honestly
1:27:01don't have to look into themselves and
1:27:03just figure out why they did it
1:27:03themselves so I mean I don't think
1:27:06targeting them will help I think they
1:27:09just need to work out there work out

1:27:16I mean did you ever have a profile on
1:27:18tinder or anything like that any of
1:27:21those dating put websites and
1:27:26at Facebook
1:27:35I even know what the what's happening

1:27:41I didn't know that had not got
1:27:43sufficient for something

1:27:49to talk to me it was a big time wasters

1:28:01charged with like false reporting I mean

1:36:04stay or anything but what's going on in
1:36:06here they're like glassy it's decent

1:36:27mentor I guess they have a couple guys
1:36:29that are some personal care workers or
1:36:32counselors to help other guys when they
1:36:34come in when I can do that they don't
1:36:40have like normal programs you would have
1:36:45like some guys like trying to they want
1:36:47to get like extra degrees and stuff like
1:36:49that but here
1:36:51the other places
1:36:56so if you just said I want a you know
1:36:59there's more education stuff with you
1:37:01get moved to another place or is it I'll
1:37:03totally up to them whether it's like I'm
1:37:06not sure how that gets paid for right
1:37:11I'll just whatever they want me to do
1:37:17move that Colorado I'll be like why a
1:37:21little better Colorado
1:37:22oh if they told you that you would
1:37:24question that Oh what if I was here for
1:37:27a long time and it's okay since you
1:37:29level down a movie back

1:39:20I was reading like Pittsburgh down like

1:39:25crazy to think about how much it varies
1:39:27from like state to state see city it's
1:39:30pretty expensive
1:39:31no like oh and expensive just like 100
1:39:33150 thousand per house deal with the
1:39:40weather and do it all here I guess you
1:39:47got like April to September

1:41:10there's a like 400 extra inmates but
1:41:14they ended up shipping out to different
1:41:16places so yeah I never knew what the
1:41:19what the assessment part of it was as
1:41:22far as like coming
1:41:23coming in half it was like

1:41:35type thing like world county is like a
1:41:38big room with the pods on the top the
1:41:40house that no it's like you have a
1:41:42sergeant desk at the front of it and
1:41:44then a hallway of like 20 cells and then
1:41:47just kind of walk back before if it's
1:41:48the RTC was like you'd have like like a
1:41:51cul-de-sac of cells three tiers and then
1:41:54like the perch for the sergeant right
1:41:56here you can see and everybody syllabus
1:41:58from looking around but this one's like
1:42:00they got to walk up and down this is
1:42:06this is everything old you can even hear
1:42:09those pipes like vibrating around the
1:42:11walls
1:42:13I feel like exceptionally freezing in
