29. 0:56of lies and deceit Chris Watts created
30. 0:59to cover up his unspeakable crime. After
31. 1:02his wife and kids were reported missing,
32. 1:04police searched his house, including the
33. 1:06bedroom where he murdered little Bella.
34. 1:08He pretends to be distraught over the
35. 1:10disappearance of his family.
36. 1:12I can't imagine what you're going
37. 1:13through right now.
38. 1:14That is the house. I I couldn't sleep at
39. 1:16all last night.
40. 1:17I missed him throwing chicken nuggets at
41. 1:19me. Honestly, last night
42. 1:20police were suspicious. At headquarters,
43. 1:22he was given a lie detector test, which
44. 1:24he failed.
45. 1:25Did you physically call Shannan's
46. 1:27disappearance?
47. 1:28No.
48. 1:28When confronted with inconsistencies in
49. 1:31his story, Watts asked to speak to his
50. 1:33father and whispered his confession as
51. 1:36police watched from another room.
52. 1:39Watts admitted he stuffed his children
53. 1:41into these crude oil tanks where he
54. 1:43worked. Bella here, Celeste there. His
55. 1:46wife's body was buried in a shallow
56. 1:48grave on the property. Was it hard to
57. 1:50get them in there? Did you have to push
58. 1:52or anything or? Not
59. 1:53really.
60. 1:54There's no chance that you put them in
61. 1:56there when they're still alive? No. No.
62. 1:58No. God, no.
