8. 0:27i know i know the story's been done to

10. 0:30but this has to be cathartic by talking
11. 0:31about it i just can't wrap my mind
12. 0:33around a man who would
13. 0:35kill his pregnant wife number one and
14. 0:37number two
15. 0:38kill his own flesh and blood his two
16. 0:40young daughters ages three
17. 0:42and four we don't know how he says he
18. 0:45doesn't know the how
19. 0:46we know the why nicole kessinger
20. 0:49he said he was so nervous when he met he
21. 0:51could hardly even eat
22. 0:53but i don't understand why he's gonna
23. 0:55get a divorce and you know pay child
24. 0:57support i don't know why these guys
25. 0:59have to kill their wives all of scott

27. 1:03let me share with you the timeline of
28. 1:04events
29. 1:08here's shanann coming home at 1 48 am
30. 1:20friend nicole atkinson drops her off
31. 1:23and she's waiting for her to go in good
32. 1:25friend what a good friend
33. 1:33now this is the part where chris is
34. 1:35getting his truck ready to load
35. 1:37the body of shenan and his two kids now
36. 1:40supposedly she came
37. 1:41home at the two in the morning uh went
38. 1:44to sleep he woke her up at five whatever
39. 1:46in the morning to
40. 1:47when he was on his way to work they got
41. 1:49into an argument
42. 1:51uh he told her about the affair said it
43. 1:53the marriage won't last
44. 1:55then she says you'll never see your kids
45. 1:57again then he says he snapped
46. 1:59choked her to death wrapped her body in
47. 2:02a blanket
48. 2:03dragged her down and into the car while
49. 2:05the kids were following wondering what
50. 2:06was wrong with their mommy
51. 2:08he loaded the kids alive into his truck
52. 2:10mommy dead
53. 2:12and drove to location 319 where he was
54. 2:14scheduled to do some work that same
55. 2:16morning

130. 16:55the same day chris appears in weld
131. 16:57county court for a bond hearing that is
132. 16:59denied
133. 17:01so the call cassinger went to the police
134. 17:03as soon as she found out that shenan
135. 17:05chris's wife was missing for more than a
136. 17:07day
137. 17:08she told them everything and then how he
138. 17:11lied to her
139. 17:11about shenan being pregnant
140. 17:15so i don't blame her for this i think i
141. 17:18blame him because he told
142. 17:20you told her that they were both on the
143. 17:22same page with his stevorus
144. 17:24and everything was proceeding as planned
145. 17:27so you can't really blame her for
146. 17:29searching for wedding dresses or having
147. 17:31the thought that they were going to be
148. 17:32together in the future that's what he
149. 17:33was telling her
150. 17:35here's a bit of her interview with the
151. 17:36police uh some of the pertinent parts of
152. 17:38it
153. 17:39i don't know it was 14 one of those two
154. 17:43days
155. 17:43but we went out and we stopped there
156. 17:45just real quick on the way back
157. 17:48and we were there not very long but at
158. 17:50that time
159. 17:51i saw a picture of
160. 17:54his wife and one of those kids
161. 17:57like wow she's so beautiful i like to
162. 18:00step back
163. 18:01and i was just like this man
164. 18:04has a gorgeous house he has a babies he
165. 18:08has a big boy
166. 18:09he has an awesome job like
167. 18:12why would you want to leave this and i
168. 18:15remember
169. 18:17talking about it and that was the first
170. 18:19time that i tried to actually say
171. 18:22what do you think about us like what if
172. 18:25you really try to work on this
173. 18:26and
174. 18:40to the point where
175. 18:44i'm engaging in a relationship with a
176. 18:45man who
177. 18:48the way he described is in a contractual
178. 18:51agreement
179. 18:52but it's not in like an emotional
180. 18:54relationship with somebody
181. 18:56um and for me the way i would
182. 18:59prefer to do this is to a way to delac
183. 19:01contractual agreement was also
184. 19:03done and he was done and he could have
185. 19:06approached me and said
186. 19:07i just had a divorce you know
187. 19:12maybe we could take this slow what do
188. 19:13you think but instead it was over
189. 19:15separated
190. 19:16and we're working on a divorce and
191. 19:20that is the part that i forgot about
192. 19:24because
193. 19:25i should wait on that and i didn't
194. 19:28and you know i was just like well
195. 19:30they're already there
196. 19:31so you know in the house
197. 19:35why fix this

199. 19:51fairly um but i kind of like
200. 19:55backed away so we weren't hanging out
201. 19:56quite as much and we were so close
202. 19:58but it was just like i really wanted to
203. 20:01give it a try
204. 20:01i wanted to know that he tried and it
205. 20:04didn't work
206. 20:05it just seemed like he had so much going
207. 20:08on
208. 20:09and it was just beautiful that i was
209. 20:10like why don't you just
210. 20:12try this out you know and see if you can
211. 20:14fix it and he always said
212. 20:16what about us like
213. 20:45and so this was like pretty early on and
214. 20:48then um
215. 20:50he told me that oh he went to um
216. 20:55he went to north carolina
217. 20:58and he was like i'm gonna talk to her
218. 21:01while i'm in north carolina
219. 21:03and see if i can get her to do this
220. 21:06to like try to like rekindle
221. 21:10okay so try to
222. 21:13solve this relationship as been asking
223. 21:15him yes
224. 21:16on tuesday which would have been the
225. 21:1814th of august
226. 21:29the day on um uh and on tuesday
227. 21:32because of what you found specifically
228. 21:34where you said it was
229. 21:35normally cooler than your outfit you
230. 21:37found out that his
231. 21:39wife was ready yes and you did not know
232. 21:43that prior
233. 21:44and you found that out via the newspaper
234. 21:46articles
235. 21:47and that caused you
236. 21:51well i just realized that he was lying
237. 21:53to me and i was like
238. 21:55this is
239. 22:09i was just kind of grossed out and to be
240. 22:12honest with you i was just like i don't
241. 22:13know what's going on right now
242. 22:15but you just lied to me and i don't want
243. 22:18to see this come on my phone anymore
244. 22:20so i drove it so you
245. 22:23just you already said that you were
246. 22:33and then it was the lie that made me
247. 22:36start questioning everything else
248. 22:41yes i'm so shocked that this whole thing
249. 22:44happened
250. 22:45i i like
251. 22:48that's why i gave well of course chris
252. 22:54gets
253. 22:55life in prison for the murders of his
254. 22:57wife and two
255. 22:58kids um he is still is pining for nicole
256. 23:03according to the interview there he had
257. 23:04with
258. 23:05the news group they he was asking them
259. 23:08if
260. 23:08they heard anything about nicole i know
261. 23:10she's in the witness protection program
262. 23:12but um boy really poor planned murder
263. 23:17i guess he had thought about this days
264. 23:18of advance and
265. 23:20if that's your plan that's pretty crazy
266. 23:23but what do you expect right what do you
267. 23:25expect from this
