  1. 0:00I'm shopping sunburned and sunburned
  2. 0:01again.
  3. 0:03And then skin peels off and you get
  4. 0:04sunburned again.
  5. 0:13Hey, what's going on everybody? From
  6. 0:14First We Feast, I'm Sean Evans and
  7. 0:16you're watching Hot Ones. It's the show
  8. 0:17with hot questions and even hotter
  9. 0:19wings. And today we're joined by Chris
  10. 0:20Hemsworth. He's an actor and lion-like
  11. 0:22figure in the action genre from the Thor
  12. 0:24and Avengers films to Rush, the
  13. 0:25Extraction franchise and many more.
  14. 0:27Coming May 24th, you can catch him in
  15. 0:28the much-anticipated George
  16. 0:29Miller-directed Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.
  17. 0:32Chris Hemsworth, welcome to the show.
  18. 0:34Thank you very much.
  19. 0:35I've seen you challenge yourself in
  20. 0:36extreme ways, you know, from swimming in
  21. 0:38the Arctic to climbing a 100-ft rope
  22. 0:40that's suspended from a helicopter. How
  23. 0:43adventurous though are you as an eater?
  24. 0:45I like my food. I like my spice. But
  25. 0:47this is this is about as
  26. 0:49extreme as I think I've experienced. So.
  27. 0:53Well, are you ready to get started?
  28. 0:54This should be Limitless season 2.
  29. 1:16Am I right, this one?
  30. 1:17That's the one.
  31. 1:17Yeah.
  32. 1:21That's pretty simple. It's got a little
  33. 1:23little peppery.
  34. 1:23Mhm.
  35. 1:24Yeah.
  36. 1:25Approachable, nothing too crazy.
  37. 1:27Yeah.
  38. 1:31So, in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, you play
  39. 1:33the role of Dementus, a powerful warlord
  40. 1:35who you've described as a pretty
  41. 1:37horrible person. Maybe this is a silly
  42. 1:39question, but as an actor known for
  43. 1:41being a Norse god who always saves the
  44. 1:42day, did you find any sort of perverse
  45. 1:44joy in being the bad guy this time
  46. 1:46around?
  47. 1:47Yeah, look, there's a certain amount
  48. 1:49of restrictions, expectations when
  49. 1:51playing the hero, especially a
  50. 1:52superhero, that you have to abide by and
  51. 1:55and stay within. Um
  52. 1:57and so to to to play the villain is fun.
  53. 2:00It's it's it's kind of the shackles are
  54. 2:01off and
  55. 2:02you're allowed to be a little more
  56. 2:04unpredictable. You're allowed to, you
  57. 2:05know,
  58. 2:06there's there's not as many rules to
  59. 2:07follow. So, creatively it was it was it
  60. 2:10was a lot more fun, yeah.
  61. 2:11Did you have your most memorable driving
  62. 2:13experience on set? Like, what is it like
  63. 2:15to hop in these George Miller
  64. 2:17machinations and just cruise the
  65. 2:19Australian desert in a chariot bike?
  66. 2:20Yeah.
  67. 2:21It's uh like the real-life version of,
  68. 2:24you know, when you're a kid playing in
  69. 2:25the backyard smashing trucks and cars
  70. 2:27together, you know?
  71. 2:28The big monster truck vehicle that I was
  72. 2:30in was insane and loud and
  73. 2:33obnoxious and awesome.
  74. 2:36It was uh
  75. 2:37epic, to say the least, yeah. Yeah.
  76. 2:43Seeing double.
  77. 2:45All right.
  78. 2:47Let's try to play.
  79. 2:48There we go. I'll remember you said
  80. 2:50that. I'll remember you said that.
  81. 2:51Yeah. This is a
  82. 2:53it's going to bite me in the ass, isn't
  83. 2:54it? Literally.
  84. 2:56I'll enjoy it twice.
  85. 2:58When you shoot something like the
  86. 2:5912-minute-long one-shot fight sequence
  87. 3:02in Extraction,
  88. 3:03Yeah.
  89. 3:03how much of that is rehearsed down to
  90. 3:05the smallest movement and then how much
  91. 3:07of it happens in the moment?
  92. 3:08No, with that stuff, it's like you you
  93. 3:11the the the necessity required
  94. 3:14uh in order for everyone to stay alive,
  95. 3:16it has to be rehearsed down to the the
  96. 3:18the last beat, you know? Um
  97. 3:21And you have all your stunt performers
  98. 3:22and so on go through
  99. 3:24uh all the the right versions, the wrong
  100. 3:27versions, the sort of experimentation
  101. 3:29period. They bust themselves to pieces
  102. 3:32and then I turn up and do my own stunts,
  103. 3:34but they've, you know, been narrowed
  104. 3:36into a pretty safe zone.
  105. 3:38Safer, you know, than it could be. Um
  106. 3:41it's still a bit of a leap of faith, but
  107. 3:42um
  108. 3:43a huge amount of prep required. Um and
  109. 3:46then it's sort of a orchestrated
  110. 3:48controlled chaos.
  111. 3:54A little bit.
  112. 3:56Nothing we can't handle.
  113. 3:57No, no, no.
  114. 3:57We're on top of it.
  115. 3:58Ask me some questions.
  116. 3:59All right, I got you.
  117. 4:01So, your Nat Geo series, Limitless, they
  118. 4:03kind of reminds me of Hot Ones in that
  119. 4:04there's this obvious hook, but the
  120. 4:06ambitions of the show go so much deeper.
  121. 4:08Is there a stress management tool that
  122. 4:10maybe you learned that could possibly be
  123. 4:12useful for us as we work our way through
  124. 4:14the wings of death here?
  125. 4:15I learned about box breathing.
  126. 4:17You know, 4 seconds in, 4 seconds hold,
  127. 4:194 seconds out, 4 seconds hold.
  128. 4:22But, I'm not sure when you're choking on
  129. 4:23a chili if that comes into play.
  130. 4:25Well, I guess we could just put it into
  131. 4:26practice and see what happens, yeah.
  132. 4:28Getting bigger over here.
  133. 4:30Are you ready to move on here to sauce
  134. 4:32number four?
  135. 4:32I am. I am.
  136. 4:34Los Calientes Barbacoa.
  137. 4:37All right.
  138. 4:43A little something.
  139. 4:43Mhm. A little something.
  140. 4:45A little something.
  141. 4:51Yeah, but
  142. 4:53should be kind of sweet. Oh, there it
  143. 4:54is.
  144. 4:54Yeah, a little smokey. Yeah.
  145. 4:56It's a creeper, that one.
  146. 4:57Mhm, yeah.
  147. 4:58Okay.
  148. 5:00Mhm.
  149. 5:01Yeah.
  150. 5:01But, still locked in focus. I maybe I'm
  151. 5:03going to start box breathing.
  152. 5:04Yeah.
  153. 5:16That in itself is a challenge.
  154. 5:18As someone who clearly enjoys an
  155. 5:20adventure, what are examples of things
  156. 5:22that you have to contractually agree not
  157. 5:24to do when you're heading a
  158. 5:24billion-dollar movie franchise?
  159. 5:26Oh, well,
  160. 5:29I mean, it's there's always a just on
  161. 5:30the waiver and you don't do this, don't
  162. 5:32do that, don't do that. And you you you
  163. 5:33you need to you still kind of do
  164. 5:35secretly, but I've had a few moments
  165. 5:38I've had a few moments where
  166. 5:39I've been doing those things and going,
  167. 5:42"Wow, this could cost me or the studio
  168. 5:44or someone a a of money if I was to get
  169. 5:46injured right now." And so whilst I was
  170. 5:48shooting Extraction I was down in the
  171. 5:49south of France
  172. 5:50surfing some pretty big waves and um
  173. 5:53yeah, a couple of times I was kind of
  174. 5:55underwater, you know, and being rolled
  175. 5:57in by sort of big
  176. 5:5815-ft surf and thinking, "Ah, maybe I
  177. 6:01shouldn't be here right now. This is
  178. 6:03This could have halted the production uh
  179. 6:06for for the entirety of it because I'd
  180. 6:08be dead.
  181. 6:09Well, thankfully you can still eat hot
  182. 6:10wings. Are you ready to move on to the
  183. 6:12halfway mark?
  184. 6:13do this, yeah.
  185. 6:14So, sure we have now's revenge.
  186. 6:16Okay.
  187. 6:24I feel like we're going to stop pouring
  188. 6:25this on and dipping it in. I'm feeling
  189. 6:26I'll I'll do it if you're ready.
  190. 6:27Yeah, yeah. We're halfway there.
  191. 6:30And it feels like
  192. 6:31We'll start popping bottles. I love it.
  193. 6:32We'll start popping bottles, man.
  194. 6:34Have you used one before?
  195. 6:37Have you used one before?
  196. 6:37Has anyone ever popped bottles before in
  197. 6:39the show?
  198. 6:39We uh
  199. 6:40Oh, it's getting a little hot.
  200. 6:41We are in Vegas.
  201. 6:45All right.
  202. 6:48Okay. Yeah.
  203. 6:53Yeah, it's not bad, though.
  204. 6:54Right.
  205. 6:55This is a good one. I like that.
  206. 6:56Now's revenge.
  207. 6:57Now's revenge.
  208. 6:59Jesus.
  209. 6:59Yeah.
  210. 7:01All right.
  211. 7:02So, a lot of actors who have been on
  212. 7:03this show have explained to me the value
  213. 7:05of doing soap operas early on in their
  214. 7:07career including your countryman Margot
  215. 7:09Robbie. How, if at all, did putting
  216. 7:11together almost 200 episodes of Home and
  217. 7:13Away prepare you for what was to come in
  218. 7:14Hollywood?
  219. 7:15For me the the technicality was the
  220. 7:17greatest thing, how to hit your mark,
  221. 7:19how to learn lines on the fly, how to
  222. 7:21just be comfortable in this setting with
  223. 7:23cameras and lights and things you
  224. 7:25pointing in your direction, you know? Um
  225. 7:28and but then you kind of
  226. 7:31there's not some I wouldn't say bad
  227. 7:32habits, but there's a certain sort of
  228. 7:34default position you get into and it's a
  229. 7:36comfort zone which
  230. 7:38I had to kind of get out of my system
  231. 7:40when I first started
  232. 7:42doing film.
  233. 7:47Let's just pop bottles.
  234. 7:48All right, let's pop bottles.
  235. 7:50How heavy you going to go?
  236. 7:52I'm going to kind of follow your lead.
  237. 7:54I'm just doing a few Oh, this is
  238. 7:56Oh, see, it's a dangerous game that
  239. 7:58dangerous game we're playing over here.
  240. 7:59Uh why do we do this? Oh, there we go.
  241. 8:02kind of your idea.
  242. 8:03Do you do the the the version?
  243. 8:06Do you ever rub it in your eye by
  244. 8:07accident?
  245. 8:07Oh, I
  246. 8:08Mhm.
  247. 8:09Any hot sauce mistake you can make. This
  248. 8:10is a step up, by the way.
  249. 8:12Oh, that's a real jump.
  250. 8:14That's not like a gentle introduction.
  251. 8:16We went from
  252. 8:18pepper to chili now, but
  253. 8:19Yeah.
  254. 8:29We can't reach for the milk yet, all
  255. 8:30right?
  256. 8:30All right, yeah. We're in a standoff,
  257. 8:32and I'll hold my ground as long as you
  258. 8:34hold your ground.
  259. 8:34Yeah, just as long as you can. Yeah.
  260. 8:36Yeah, go for it. Go for it.
  261. 8:40Uh
  262. 8:41When you're watching
  263. 8:44Can we have a glass of milk?
  264. 8:45Yeah, let's do it.
  265. 8:47It's too soon, don't you think?
  266. 8:47Too soon? All right, I'm off. I'm off.
  267. 8:49I'm off.
  268. 8:49Go.
  269. 8:50I'm always curious how people who act in
  270. 8:52films actually consume them. Like, how
  271. 8:53would you describe yourself as a
  272. 8:55moviegoer?
  273. 8:56Uh
  274. 8:57I think a lot more growing up, you know?
  275. 9:00Um I used to love the moviegoing
  276. 9:01experience, but uh
  277. 9:03I don't know, once you kind of seen
  278. 9:04behind the curtain, you you can't help
  279. 9:06but sit there and kind of go, "Oh, yeah,
  280. 9:07I know they did this. I know that
  281. 9:09person. I know I drink with that
  282. 9:10person." And
  283. 9:12You know,
  284. 9:12when I watched Fury Road, I remember
  285. 9:15coming out of that film, I was
  286. 9:17completely immersed in the experience.
  287. 9:19For the first time in years, I forgot
  288. 9:20that I I I I knew what was going on. I
  289. 9:23wasn't sitting there going, "Oh, how did
  290. 9:24they do that shot? How did they do
  291. 9:25this?" I was
  292. 9:26absolutely 100% absorbed in the
  293. 9:28experience, and so
  294. 9:30um
  295. 9:31I've forgotten the question cuz it's
  296. 9:32gone down my tongue a little.
  297. 9:34Yeah.
  298. 9:35Is that the answer?
  299. 9:36It works for me.
  300. 9:37It works. mean? Like I'm I'm marinating
  301. 9:39in this whole experience just like you,
  302. 9:41you know? I'm not a superhero
  303. 9:43marinating in the old
  304. 9:44Oñema
  305. 9:46habanero sherry.
  306. 9:47It's a challenge over here.
  307. 9:49Let's have another one.
  308. 9:50Wow. Yeah? You want to You want to pop
  309. 9:52the bottle on it?
  310. 9:53Yeah, let's pop the bottle on it.
  311. 9:54Hell yeah.
  312. 9:59We're pushing the envelope, aren't we?
  313. 10:02Do we just bite it first or we do No, we
  314. 10:03don't.
  315. 10:03No, we don't.
  316. 10:06All right.
  317. 10:10Okay.
  318. 10:11Ready?
  319. 10:11Yep.
  320. 10:12Okay.
  321. 10:15Kind of nice up front.
  322. 10:17Yeah.
  323. 10:18Almost kind of ketchupy.
  324. 10:19Yeah.
  325. 10:20But sometimes hot sauce is tricky, you
  326. 10:22know?
  327. 10:22Yeah.
  328. 10:23And this one I think is a trickster.
  329. 10:25Lose you and then
  330. 10:28You have that false sense of security.
  331. 10:32It's got like a peppery kick, doesn't
  332. 10:33it?
  333. 10:33Yeah.
  334. 10:35It does.
  335. 10:36Well, then.
  336. 10:37Yeah, really like a
  337. 10:39really a compliment to the last one, you
  338. 10:41know? Just a different kind of pepper
  339. 10:42violence.
  340. 10:43compliment, yeah.
  341. 10:45They're all getting along in there,
  342. 10:46aren't they?
  343. 10:46They really are.
  344. 10:47each other.
  345. 10:48It's like a fish fight.
  346. 10:49Uh-huh.
  347. 10:50Like a war zone.
  348. 10:51Do you have a go-to deflection when
  349. 10:53you're at a convention and a fan
  350. 10:55approaches you and it asks you like a
  351. 10:57minute super deep cut comic book
  352. 10:59question that you have absolutely no
  353. 11:01idea how to answer?
  354. 11:03Um
  355. 11:05No, I've been pretty open about kind of
  356. 11:07having
  357. 11:08read some comics but not others. I do
  358. 11:10this thing sometimes
  359. 11:11when I'm not real good with names. I
  360. 11:14know everyone's going to know now if
  361. 11:15they say this, but someone will come up
  362. 11:16and go, "Chris, good to see you." And
  363. 11:17I'll have my wife with me. I go I go,
  364. 11:19"Hey,
  365. 11:21and she'll go, "Hi, I'm Elsa. This is
  366. 11:23John." I go, "John, this is Sorry, man.
  367. 11:25Something like that."
  368. 11:27I go I can do that.
  369. 11:28Yeah, I was going to say I wasn't sure
  370. 11:29if you were like telling the story and
  371. 11:32yeah, explaining
  372. 11:33or if you're just actually reacting to
  373. 11:35this.
  374. 11:36Hey, good to see you.
  375. 11:38Sorry.
  376. 11:39And then you wait for someone else to
  377. 11:40step in.
  378. 11:41That's smart. I might steal that from
  379. 11:43you.
  380. 11:43It's good, yeah. It's not too bad. I
  381. 11:44mean, it's it's not fun, but
  382. 11:46right?
  383. 11:47Yeah.
  384. 11:48Now, this next one is no fun.
  385. 11:50This is the bomb beyond insanity.
  386. 11:53Yeah, do we really want to pour it on
  387. 11:55this pop bottles again? Yeah.
  388. 11:58I'm going to pour it in the other sauce.
  389. 11:59How's that sound?
  390. 12:01Oh, dangerous.
  391. 12:02Is your mouth watering?
  392. 12:04Yeah.
  393. 12:05And my lips are on fire.
  394. 12:06Yeah.
  395. 12:07Should we have some milk?
  396. 12:09If you're down.
  397. 12:10If you don't want to, I don't want to.
  398. 12:11If you don't Yeah, I'm good if you're
  399. 12:13I'm good if you're good. Up to you.
  400. 12:14I'm not touching that milk until you
  401. 12:15touch it.
  402. 12:16Yeah, yeah. Well, if you're good, I'm
  403. 12:17good. You know, no need for to reach for
  404. 12:19the milk.
  405. 12:22Yeah.
  406. 12:23It just doesn't go either, does it?
  407. 12:25No.
  408. 12:26Like
  409. 12:27Speaking of compound injuries, you know
  410. 12:28what I mean? Like, that's the show. You
  411. 12:30have a cumulative effect here.
  412. 12:32I don't know how I'm going to rest of my
  413. 12:34press interviews I've got to do for the
  414. 12:36day.
  415. 12:39I might be done for the day.
  416. 12:40Oh my gosh, yeah. This might be it. This
  417. 12:41might take us out.
  418. 12:43This one, really?
  419. 12:43Yeah. You know, I've been around the
  420. 12:44block a couple
  421. 12:45always get to the end? Oh, you've been
  422. 12:46here before.
  423. 12:47Yeah, we're going to get to the end.
  424. 12:51Now, this one will be immediate broth.
  425. 12:53As soon as it hit my mouth.
  426. 13:02I don't want to play anymore.
  427. 13:04I don't want to do this anymore.
  428. 13:07I'd nickel for every time I heard that.
  429. 13:08we have to do milk now.
  430. 13:09Yeah. All right, let's go. Let's go.
  431. 13:10Let's go. Let's break the damn.
  432. 13:11Oh my god.
  433. 13:13Look. Yeah.
  434. 13:16Mhm.
  435. 13:17Oh.
  436. 13:19That's awful. That's so bad.
  437. 13:20I know. And you the milk doesn't even
  438. 13:22really help that much.
  439. 13:24Now I'm nervous.
  440. 13:26Now I get it. I get it.
  441. 13:30No, constantly doing one stop.
  442. 13:33No, I get it. I get it. But as intense
  443. 13:35as it is right now, this is intense as
  444. 13:37it will be. You know what I mean?
  445. 13:38No.
  446. 13:39It'll fade.
  447. 13:43Oh, no. No, I'm I'm scared.
  448. 13:45Yeah. No, I get it. I get it.
  449. 13:48We're so brazen before.
  450. 13:49How do I do this shoving the board?
  451. 13:50Remember early on when you're like, "I'm
  452. 13:52bored." You know what I mean?
  453. 13:54I'm not bored anymore.
  454. 13:58Yeah.
  455. 13:58It always comes back, the show.
  456. 14:00Oh my god.
  457. 14:01See, cold surfing one of the few things
  458. 14:03that holds my attention completely and
  459. 14:04in its entirety.
  460. 14:05No, I'm really nervous.
  461. 14:07If I were to ask you, what's the
  462. 14:09greatest wave you've ever surfed? Is
  463. 14:10there a memory that crystallizes in your
  464. 14:12brain?
  465. 14:15Well, uh right right Oh, man.
  466. 14:20Okay. Okay.
  467. 14:24Mhm.
  468. 14:25Mhm.
  469. 14:26Um uh
  470. 14:28Fiji.
  471. 14:30Cloudbreak.
  472. 14:35I went with um Kelly Slater once. It's a
  473. 14:37Cloudbreak, Fiji.
  474. 14:39And uh
  475. 14:40I was going to be there.
  476. 14:42Here we go. We have this magic trick.
  477. 14:44This is our medic over here.
  478. 14:46Oh.
  479. 14:49And that is help.
  480. 14:50Okay. Yeah, okay.
  481. 14:52Mhm.
  482. 14:53Mhm.
  483. 14:54He takes me on the cliff and huge set
  484. 14:56and he goes, "Ah, don't worry. That's
  485. 14:57the last big set dropping off."
  486. 14:59Cool. I paddle out and
  487. 15:02straight away a 12-ft set comes through.
  488. 15:05Washed everyone out. Comes up, he looks
  489. 15:07at me, he goes, "I swear it's dropping
  490. 15:09off.
  491. 15:09It's the last big set."
  492. 15:11And uh
  493. 15:1410 minutes later, another one, even
  494. 15:15bigger.
  495. 15:17My board's like tombstoning and I'm like
  496. 15:19on the reef going I'm trying to climb my
  497. 15:21leg rope to get the top. I come up and
  498. 15:22he's like, "Okay, I'm getting smaller.
  499. 15:25Go him." I went him.
  500. 15:27That was probably the biggest scariest
  501. 15:28surf I've been in.
  502. 15:30Nowhere near as terrifying as the next
  503. 15:32thing we're about to do.
  504. 15:39I can't wait to enjoy that tomorrow
  505. 15:40morning.
  506. 15:42I just calm after for all the cockiness
  507. 15:44I had at the start, wasn't it?
  508. 15:45It's a humbling show. You know, it
  509. 15:47really is at its heart.
  510. 15:48have stopped there if somebody got
  511. 15:49there. The
  512. 15:50journey.
  513. 15:52It's a journey.
  514. 15:52Here we go.
  515. 15:57My body's like, "Why are we doing this
  516. 15:58again?"
  517. 15:59I am bent over.
  518. 16:01Part two. What an experience.
  519. 16:02That's my god. It's not bad.
  520. 16:05It's just as bad.
  521. 16:06It's not as bad.
  522. 16:09Not fun, but not as bad. Not as bad.
  523. 16:11I was being sunburnt and sunburnt again.
  524. 16:14And then the skin peels off and you get
  525. 16:15sunburnt again.
  526. 16:18Do you remember where you were and how
  527. 16:20you celebrated back in 2016 when your
  528. 16:22beloved Western Bulldogs won the AFL
  529. 16:24Grand Final? Their first in over 60
  530. 16:26years.
  531. 16:26Yeah.
  532. 16:28Yeah, it was Yeah, it was there
  533. 16:32I was there with my dad.
  534. 16:34And uh the last time they'd won was 1954
  535. 16:37when he was born.
  536. 16:38Careful. Careful. Careful.
  537. 16:41And uh
  538. 16:42super emotional this story.
  539. 16:46It was 1954.
  540. 16:48That's the last time they'd won. So,
  541. 16:50that
  542. 16:51And uh
  543. 16:54Look at me.
  544. 16:56I'm locked in.
  545. 16:59And I was at the Grand Final. And it was
  546. 17:01epic. And every week up in in the finals
  547. 17:05leading up, everyone was like, "Wow, you
  548. 17:06know, the Bulldogs have gotten this far.
  549. 17:08They're not going to win."
  550. 17:09They're a seven seed, you know? That's
  551. 17:10incredible.
  552. 17:11And they were like, "We're not going to
  553. 17:12win, but you know, this is so great."
  554. 17:14And then right at the game, everyone he
  555. 17:16we got we got this far." And I said,
  556. 17:19"We're going to win. We're going to do
  557. 17:20it." And um
  558. 17:23I remember my dad crying and
  559. 17:25and I'm having tears cuz he's crying and
  560. 17:27and my brothers were there and
  561. 17:30and it was it was epic. It was great.
  562. 17:33It was so much fun.
  563. 17:36What are you doing? We're dropping
  564. 17:37Are we doing this?
  565. 17:39Why are we doing this?
  566. 17:40I don't care. Let's go.
  567. 17:45Well, come on. We've come this far. Is
  568. 17:47this the biggest worst one?
  569. 17:48Yeah.
  570. 17:49That's the show. It's just like it's
  571. 17:50like
  572. 17:51surfing with Kelly Slater, you know?
  573. 17:53That's right.
  574. 17:53One wave goes through, you think it's
  575. 17:55going to be the worst one, and then the
  576. 17:56next one comes, you know?
  577. 17:58Oh, man.
  578. 17:58But thankfully
  579. 17:59I'll put too much on.
  580. 18:00This is the last one.
  581. 18:01Oh, really?
  582. 18:05Love you.
  583. 18:06Love you back.
  584. 18:08Goodbye.
  585. 18:09Goodbye.
  586. 18:14Uh-oh.
  587. 18:14Oh.
  588. 18:15And just one more question before we
  589. 18:17roll credits. It almost seems
  590. 18:19preordained that you'd be an action
  591. 18:20star, you know, growing up obsessed with
  592. 18:22Schwarzenegger movies, practicing your
  593. 18:25Rambo-isms and Jean-Claude Van Damme
  594. 18:27flying kicks. I'm curious, from your
  595. 18:29unique vantage point, as someone who
  596. 18:31grew up a fan of the genre and is now a
  597. 18:33cornerstone of the genre, what in your
  598. 18:35opinion is the greatest action movie
  599. 18:37performance of all time?
  600. 18:40I'm never done thinking.
  601. 18:41The greatest action movie performance of
  602. 18:43all time
  603. 18:45One of my favorite films, Kickboxer.
  604. 18:48Bloodsport. Action. Now,
  605. 18:52you know, how you shoot action these
  606. 18:54days is
  607. 18:55Yeah, I don't know if it's more
  608. 18:56sophisticated, but there's been
  609. 18:58there's been growth, you know? And and
  610. 19:00um
  611. 19:01and you watch them now and they're kind
  612. 19:02of very, you know, everything's a lot of
  613. 19:04slow-mo and
  614. 19:06big holding kicks and so on.
  615. 19:08Um but Bloodsport, Kickboxer,
  616. 19:11probably two of my favorite.
  617. 19:13Yeah.
  618. 19:14Set it in stone and look at you, Chris
  619. 19:16Hemsworth, taking on the wings of death,
  620. 19:18living to tell the tale, and now there's
  621. 19:19nothing left to do but roll out the red
  622. 19:21carpet for you. This camera, this
  623. 19:22camera, this camera. Let the people know
  624. 19:24what you have going on in your life.
  625. 19:26Yeah, I've got three kids, a couple of
  626. 19:27dogs.
  627. 19:32I'm Chris Hemsworth, and
  628. 19:34a film of mine is coming out called
  629. 19:35Furiosa. It's part of the Mad Max saga,
  630. 19:38the Mad Max franchise. Um, check it out.
  631. 19:41It's one of the greatest experiences
  632. 19:42I've ever had on a set, and it's
  633. 19:45one for the ages. I'm sure you're going
  634. 19:47to enjoy it. Don't miss it. It's as hot
  635. 19:49and exciting as all of this business.
  636. 19:53WOO!
  637. 19:58YEAH.
  638. 20:01EVERYONE I MENTIONED I WAS DOING IT WAS
  639. 20:03LIKE, "YES!" All that said to me, "Why
  640. 20:04have you not done Hot Ones?"
  641. 20:06Yeah, that's it.
  642. 20:07Well, what what do you think of the
  643. 20:08experience now that you go back to
  644. 20:10Oh, it's so much more interesting. Takes
  645. 20:11away from all the boring answers I'm
  646. 20:13giving
  647. 20:14about acting and stuff. It's like, it's
  648. 20:16way cooler.
  649. 20:19Thanks, man.

  656. 20:35water or no milk?" Well, now is your
