  37. 1:30Where's your moms?
  38. 1:31Hello, everybody.
  39. 1:33Hello.
  40. 1:34ABBY LEE MILLER: Congratulations.
  41. 1:35Another overall high score win.
  42. 1:37Yay.
  43. 1:39The girls might think they're safe after winning
  44. 1:42these last few weeks, but I've got a surprise for them.
  45. 1:45And it's going to make them remember,
  46. 1:47they're all on the chopping block.
  47. 1:49I was in Orlando, I had an open call.
  48. 1:52I was in Atlanta, I had an open call.
  49. 1:55The face of this team is going to change.
  50. 2:00And I think some of you are comfortable.
  51. 2:03Abby's never going to replace me.
  52. 2:04My mother walked out of the dance concert
  53. 2:06two years in a row, and I'm still here.
  54. 2:09My mother's been suspended twice, but I'm still here.
  55. 2:13Don't get too comfortable.
  56. 2:15I'll be right back.
  57. 2:20I want to introduce Kim and the new Chloe.
  58. 2:26Go stand right next to her.
  59. 2:35CHRISTI: Bringing in a new Chloe, obviously,
  60. 2:38we know who you're looking to replace.
  61. 2:39Are you kidding?
  62. 2:41They were at the first open call audition in Orlando.
  63. 2:46My name is Kim, and my daughter is Chloe.
  64. 2:48Chloe's 12 years old, and she's been dancing since she was six.
  65. 2:51She's an amazing dancer.
  66. 2:53Chloe won the World Dance Pageant in Orlando
  67. 2:55earlier in the year.
  68. 2:56You could dance next to Maddie.
  69. 3:01Chloe is going to join us this week.
  70. 3:03This week, we will be traveling to Voorhees, New Jersey
  71. 3:07to attend the competition On Stage America.
  72. 3:11All right.
  73. 3:12Yes.
  74. 3:14Let's start with the pyramid.
  75. 3:16First, Mackenzie.
  76. 3:19You got beat.
  77. 3:21Next, Brooke.
  78. 3:24Put the phone down.
  79. 3:27Paige, I'm still seeing technical issues.
  80. 3:33And next, we have Kendall.
  81. 3:34What happened to that kid?
  82. 3:38The kid that stepped out on the stage
  83. 3:39and was right behind Maddie.
  84. 3:42Next, Chloe.
  85. 3:46Again, in the trio--
  86. 3:52not perfect.
  87. 3:55Next, the new Chloe.
  88. 3:59CHRISTI: How in the world is this new Chloe above my Chloe
  89. 4:02when this one didn't even dance last week?
  90. 4:05You were outstanding at that audition.
  91. 4:08OK.
  92. 4:10Next, we have Maddie.
  93. 4:14Maddie you were great in the routine,
  94. 4:16you worked well with Nia.
  95. 4:18That's definitely going to be an asset to you in the future.
  96. 4:21And on top of the pyramid this week, deservedly so, Ms. Nia.
  97. 4:27[cheering]
  98. 4:33Yay.
  99. 4:33Nia's at the top of the pyramid.
  100. 4:36That never gets old.
  101. 4:37Seeing Nia on the top of the pyramid
  102. 4:39is like the cherry on top of my sundae.
  103. 4:41I'm so excited for her.
  104. 4:43Nia, I challenged you, but you were wonderful.
  105. 4:47You embraced the role.
  106. 4:49I thought you did it justice because you convey the story
  107. 4:52well.
  108. 4:53This is going to be a tough week.
  109. 4:54We have a lot of numbers.
  110. 4:56Nia, you are not getting a solo.
  111. 5:00You will be doing a duet with Kendall.
  112. 5:04Despite the fact that he was at the top of the pyramid,
  113. 5:06Abby gives her a duet instead of a solo.
  114. 5:09I certainly hope she doesn't get the new Chloe as solo.
  115. 5:12That would be insulting.
  116. 5:13The name of your routine is Pieces Together.
  117. 5:17And it's a jazz routine.
  118. 5:19The name of the group routine is Why Not Me?
  119. 5:24In addition to the group, I have two solos.
  120. 5:29Old Chloe, you will be performing a solo entitled
  121. 5:34Seeing Red in the contemporary category.
  122. 5:38And new Chloe, you will be performing a lyrical routine
  123. 5:42called The First Day.
  124. 5:45I will be challenging you to become an official member
  125. 5:49of this team.
  126. 5:51Right now, you're here is our guest.
  127. 5:54We'll see.
  128. 5:56What's wrong with you?
  129. 5:57I'm not going to say it here.
  130. 5:58It would have been nice if Maddie would have gotten
  131. 6:01the chance to compete against the new Chloe
  132. 6:03and had a solo this week.
  133. 6:04Maddie is a great dancer.
  134. 6:06And she's always looking for challenges
  135. 6:07to make herself better.
  136. 6:08All right.
  137. 6:09Moms, you can go sit upstairs.
  138. 6:10Kim, join them.
  139. 6:12If they start to attack, just bang on the wall really hard,
  140. 6:14and I'll come to your rescue. - OK.
  141. 6:15I'll let you know. - OK.
  142. 6:17All right. Spread apart, girls.
  143. 6:18Spread apart, warm up. Let's go.
  144. 6:20Let's jumping jack.
  145. 6:20Come on, come on.
  146. 6:22I'm just trying to get your blood pumping.
  147. 6:23Anybody cold?
  148. 6:24OK.
  149. 6:25So what is your name again?
  150. 6:27My name is Kim.
  151. 6:28Are you a dance teacher?
  152. 6:29No.
  153. 6:30Are you a studio owner?
  154. 6:31No.
  155. 6:32- Do you work? - Yes.
  156. 6:33What do you do?
  157. 6:34I work in Med spa and I do facial rejuvenation.
  158. 6:40Kim reveals that she works in a plastic surgeons office.
  159. 6:43And it's pretty obvious.
  160. 6:46By the looks on her face.
  161. 6:48ABBY LEE MILLER: I would like to start with new Chloe
  162. 6:50because we don't know her or how fast she picks up,
  163. 6:52but I want to see.
  164. 6:53But I don't want old Chloe's mother freaking out and saying,
  165. 6:56oh well, we started with her first.
  166. 6:59[music playing]
  167. 7:01Contract, bend your elbows.
  168. 7:05The first one is up, and then run.
  169. 7:08Chloe's solo this week is entitled Seeing Red.
  170. 7:11Chloe, you're jealous, you're envious because the new Chloe,
  171. 7:16she might just be her replacement.
  172. 7:18Chaine out of it towards Jonah.
  173. 7:21Well, I knew as soon as she was bringing someone new
  174. 7:23in that, Chloe would have a solo against the new person
  175. 7:25because that's her game.
  176. 7:26Well and it's Chloe versus Chloe.
  177. 7:28It's always my daughter, always.
  178. 7:30Because she knew that she was going
  179. 7:32to use your daughter today to make my daughter feel bad.
  180. 7:35HOLLY: When new people come on, who
  181. 7:36want to take the solo from the kids who've been here
  182. 7:37all along. - I agree with that.
  183. 7:39HOLLY: Because Nia's at the top this week, Chloe's got a solo.
  184. 7:42And she took away time for our duet.
  185. 7:45I think these moms are ruthless.
  186. 7:47They say they're part of a team and they're team players,
  187. 7:49but I really believe that they're there for their child
  188. 7:52only.
  189. 7:53This is going to be your first solo under the Abby Lee Dance
  190. 7:56Company.
  191. 7:57What's the best thing you do?
  192. 7:58What are you noted for?
  193. 8:01You're a turner.
  194. 8:03Chloe is a turner too.
  195. 8:05And, turn, turn, turn, turn, turn, turn, turn, turn.
  196. 8:12The new Chloe solo is called The first Day.
  197. 8:17This new Chloe has a lot of talent.
  198. 8:20And this might just be the first day of a very successful
  199. 8:24career.
  200. 8:26As you start to chaine your arms just break pretty down
  201. 8:29and plie, bend this knee, right, this knee.
  202. 8:32Now, how old is Chloe?
  203. 8:33Chloe turned 12 in July.
  204. 8:35This is a better opportunity, this dance company than the one
  205. 8:38you're in in Vegas.
  206. 8:39KIM: She's already the star of that one,
  207. 8:41maybe she wants to be the star of another one.
  208. 8:43Good luck on that.
  209. 8:45Have fun.
  210. 8:46Good luck on that one.
  211. 8:481, and 2, and 3, and 4, 5 and 6.
  212. 8:53I need to get a closer look like.
  213. 8:54But you don't want to be here turned out,
  214. 8:56you want to be here turned out.
  215. 8:57Right.
  216. 8:58I don't know that I want her to do any work on my face.
  217. 9:00I don't know that I like the looks of hers.
  218. 9:04Stop.
  219. 9:04That's her livelihood.
  220. 9:05Stop.
  221. 9:06Hey, Chloe.
  222. 9:07How did it go? - Good.
  223. 9:09You really liked it?
  224. 9:10You did well.
  225. 9:11How did it go, girls?
  226. 9:12Good.
  227. 9:13You guys like the new Chloe?
  228. 9:15It's the original Chloe.
  229. 9:18You're not the old Chloe, you're the original.
  230. 9:21The OC.
  231. 9:22Just because you're competing against the old Chloe,
  232. 9:25doesn't mean that the new Chloe can't come in here
  233. 9:27and take over.
  234. 9:28You're going to work hard to move up that pyramid, right?
  235. 9:30You're not going to move down.
  236. 9:32She's a turner.
  237. 9:33She's my height, she's my age.
  238. 9:34Her mom's your height, has blond hair.
  239. 9:36I don't think you need to focus on this other person.
  240. 9:39I think you need to focus on yourself.
  241. 9:40You're the Chloe-bird.
  242. 9:41And there's only one of you.
  243. 9:42You're very unique.
  244. 9:43I think I got the better technique.
  245. 9:45Yeah, you do.
  246. 9:47That's why you're here.
  247. 9:48Nobody is going to be you.
  248. 10:03ABBY LEE MILLER: The name of the group routine is Why Not Me?
  249. 10:07Girls, do you understand what the dance is about when you go
  250. 10:10to an audition like Chloe did?
  251. 10:12You want to be the woman that gets picked.
  252. 10:16You do want to be the woman that the other girls all talk about.
  253. 10:19Because that means you've got something that they don't have.
  254. 10:21All right.
  255. 10:22Let's go.
  256. 10:24Up, down, out, out.
  257. 10:29Pose a little like you're sleeping or you're drunk.
  258. 10:34Think about having like this satin nightgown on.
  259. 10:38The group routine, it's a period piece from the 1930s.
  260. 10:42It's something the girls have never done before.
  261. 10:44The dance is inspired by the French cabaret.
  262. 10:47And to add to that challenge, this is new Chloe's first group
  263. 10:51routine.
  264. 10:52I'm putting her together with a bunch of girls who've
  265. 10:54been dancing together since they've been in diapers.
  266. 10:57This could be a major struggle for her.
  267. 11:00New Chloe, Maddie, do that whole Charleston section
  268. 11:04from the wiggle up.
  269. 11:08Ball change, hit, step, slow it down, step, slow it down.
  270. 11:13You're sickling your ankles, you.
  271. 11:15It seems like she's taking more time doing this group
  272. 11:17dance than any of the most recent ones.
  273. 11:19I agree.
  274. 11:20ABBY LEE MILLER: New Chloe, you're sickling your right foot
  275. 11:22big time when you roll down into the floor.
  276. 11:25New Chloe, it's a split.
  277. 11:26Your legs are this far apart, second time tonight.
  278. 11:29I don't know if this new Chloe is going to make the ALDC cut.
  279. 11:33There's a lot more that goes into fitting in with a team
  280. 11:37than just the dance skills.
  281. 11:39She needs to become part of this group.
  282. 11:42And you should have known to slow down
  283. 11:45after the first mistake.
  284. 11:47It's you, sweetie.
  285. 11:48You're making the mistake.
  286. 11:50So Holly, what--
  287. 11:51what are we going to do about this duet, that
  288. 11:53is like nonexistent?
  289. 11:54She won't address.
  290. 11:57That's a shame. Because I think--
  291. 11:59They were so excited about it.
  292. 12:00The kids were really, really looking forward to it.
  293. 12:02I wish Abby was excited about it.
  294. 12:04I don't think she is.
  295. 12:05I don't think she cares one bit, considering
  296. 12:07they have not choreographed a step in this duet.
  297. 12:11Oh, that front right foot, Nia.
  298. 12:14I don't know.
  299. 12:15We can go down and ask her.
  300. 12:16I mean, we're no worse off because they haven't learned
  301. 12:18anything.
  302. 12:19The clock is ticking by, we're losing
  303. 12:22time because of the new Chloe.
  304. 12:23This is really not fair to Kendall and Nia.
  305. 12:26HOLLY: This will not end well.
  306. 12:29ABBY LEE MILLER: Chloe, I did not bring you all the way
  307. 12:31to Pittsburgh to watch her.
  308. 12:33I brought you to Pittsburgh to challenge her,
  309. 12:36to make her realize that she's not the it girl.
  310. 12:40There's a lot of it girls out there.
  311. 12:42Hi, girl.
  312. 12:45Yeah.
  313. 12:46Don't waste our time.
  314. 12:47We have a lot of work to do.
  315. 12:48I was wondering, when will you have time
  316. 12:50to start working on the choreography with the duet?
  317. 12:55Are we still doing--
  318. 12:56ABBY LEE MILLER: If I get a chance, start tonight.
  319. 12:57OK.
  320. 12:58ABBY LEE MILLER: Maybe.
  321. 12:59And if I don't get to it, they're not doing a duet.
  322. 13:01Not a big deal.
  323. 13:02Not a big deal.
  324. 13:03I have two solos to do.
  325. 13:05I have the new girl that's in.
  326. 13:06I have these other routines to rehearse for something else.
  327. 13:09And the group number.
  328. 13:12And the group number is different than something
  329. 13:13they've ever done before.
  330. 13:14OK.
  331. 13:15Let go.
  332. 13:17I care about her feet and her shoulders.
  333. 13:18I know. But--
  334. 13:19ABBY LEE MILLER: Not about the duet.
  335. 13:20--if they have opportunity to work together,
  336. 13:21they have a time to really do it.
  337. 13:24Once again, my kid is getting the short end of the stick.
  338. 13:26After all that Nia did last week with the group number,
  339. 13:29she can't reward her with a solo.
  340. 13:31And now, she might not even get a duet.
  341. 13:34ABBY LEE MILLER: Nia, the kick is to the front.
  342. 13:35Your hip is down.
  343. 13:38Do you guys always go barge the class like that,
  344. 13:40and ask about--
  345. 13:41No, we didn't barge.
  346. 13:43ABBY LEE MILLER: Nia, what are you doing?
  347. 13:44Your mother's down here bugging me about a duet.
  348. 13:46You can't even do the group dance.
  349. 13:49KIM: I think that you should be a lot more
  350. 13:50grateful about having your daughter on this team.
  351. 13:52OK.
  352. 13:53And that you shouldn't take it for granted.
  353. 13:55I don't.
  354. 13:57But you know what, sit here in my spot for three years
  355. 14:00and have your daughter be treated the way my daughter is,
  356. 14:02and then you can tell me what you think.
  357. 14:05Instead of strutting around here like a peacock,
  358. 14:07I'd be more concerned that maybe your daughter doesn't fit in
  359. 14:09as well as you think because it looks like your Chloe might be
  360. 14:12struggling a little bit.
  361. 14:14Well, I think that my daughter gets yelled at where she is.
  362. 14:17And I'm grateful--
  363. 14:18There is a difference between that
  364. 14:19and being torn up to shreds.
  365. 14:21KIM: I hope my Chloe realizes this is her one chance,
  366. 14:23and that she's out there working her hardest.
  367. 14:26You don't think every one of those kids
  368. 14:27is working their hardest?
  369. 14:28Yes, they are working their hardest.
  370. 14:30But they're already part of the team.
  371. 14:31My Chloe--
  372. 14:32CHRISTI: Yeah, no, no.
  373. 14:33But she has said, for the last, however many weeks since we've
  374. 14:36been back, they're not really part of the team.
  375. 14:39They're being replaced.
  376. 14:40Listen, lady.
  377. 14:41We have a lot of people coming through a revolving door.
  378. 14:44Don't let the door hit you in your ass on the way out.
  379. 14:47I would like to say good work, girls.
  380. 14:49You can go.
  381. 14:51You don't even have to think about this till you walk
  382. 14:52in tomorrow.
  383. 14:53But that's not the case.
  384. 14:55That's all the time. I have a class.
  385. 14:56Let's go.
  386. 14:57See if you picked up faster and you knew what we meant,
  387. 14:59it would go quicker.
  388. 15:00I mean, the group number is not done.
  389. 15:02The duet hasn't even had any time.
  390. 15:04I'm nervous.
  391. 15:06We have one more day, ladies.
  392. 15:07My daughter's solo isn't anywhere near finish.
  393. 15:10Nothing's done.
  394. 15:12I think Abby overstretched herself this week.
  395. 15:13Yeah.
  396. 15:21Turn, turn, badump, bump.
  397. 15:23Turn, turn.
  398. 15:25You're being goofy with your head.
  399. 15:26And you can't-- you know, it's all about your legs, your legs.
  400. 15:29Let them look at your legs.
  401. 15:31KIM: Hello.
  402. 15:33I'm doing great.
  403. 15:34How are you?
  404. 15:38What's up?
  405. 15:41I didn't know that you needed to know, so--
  406. 15:44I received a call from our studio owner in Las Vegas.
  407. 15:48And he wasn't very happy with me because I left town
  408. 15:50to kind of Pittsburgh.
  409. 16:02At some times, yes, she is.
  410. 16:05Are you kidding?
  411. 16:07Is this new mother high?
  412. 16:08We spent the whole day working on the group dance
  413. 16:11with new Chloe.
  414. 16:12So I don't know where you get off
  415. 16:14sitting here saying that your kid is dancing circles
  416. 16:17around ours.
  417. 16:18Well, maybe she is high.
  418. 16:20Bye.
  419. 16:21CHRISTI: Kim, I really can't believe that you just
  420. 16:23said, in front of us, that you think your daughter is dancing
  421. 16:26circles around our kids.
  422. 16:28I think we have great dancers on our team.
  423. 16:30Thanks.
  424. 16:32MELISSA: That's really rude to talk about children that way.
  425. 16:33Yeah.
  426. 16:34That's very rude to talk about children.
  427. 16:35The quickest way to make an enemy out of Melissa
  428. 16:37is to say that your daughter is dancing circles around her kid.
  429. 16:40You better watch out because you're
  430. 16:41going to go outside with your tire slashed.
  431. 16:55AABBY LEE MILLER: Don't take all those steps in now.
  432. 16:57Control that.
  433. 17:06OK.
  434. 17:07I'm going to change that.
  435. 17:09Over here, we need to change this because you
  436. 17:10did this in the group dance.
  437. 17:11I don't want you to do it again.
  438. 17:13Come on in.
  439. 17:14I'm changing something here so work up there.
  440. 17:16CHRISTI: Why is your daughter in there,
  441. 17:18where my-- your rehearsal is finished,
  442. 17:19and she's being very distracting to my daughter.
  443. 17:22Girls, go down by the mirror and do it, so that she
  444. 17:25can see what you do.
  445. 17:26KIM: Well, I think that's something you should talk
  446. 17:28to Abby about because-- - I know.
  447. 17:29Everyone is just--
  448. 17:30She's just following directions.
  449. 17:31Just go talk to Abby.
  450. 17:34Yeah you know what, Kim.
  451. 17:35I've been here a long time.
  452. 17:36I don't need your advice.
  453. 17:37Thanks.
  454. 17:38ABBY LEE MILLER: Chloe, this should be easier
  455. 17:39for me to teach you than her.
  456. 17:40She's a brand new student here.
  457. 17:41She doesn't know how we work.
  458. 17:43You've been here since you were three years old.
  459. 17:45You should get this like that.
  460. 17:46Ready, let's go.
  461. 17:47JILL: I'm so annoyed.
  462. 17:49This is the first time ever.
  463. 17:50If that duet doesn't get done, that we have had a number that
  464. 17:54didn't get finished.
  465. 17:55HOLLY: Well, I would be disappointed because Nia's
  466. 17:56on the top of the pyramid and she didn't get a solo,
  467. 17:58but she got the duet.
  468. 17:59That's so annoying.
  469. 18:00At this point, I really think that Jill and Holly are totally
  470. 18:03out of luck because competition's tomorrow.
  471. 18:05And they don't have any chance to rehearse this duet
  472. 18:08because we've spent so much time working on the new Chloe.
  473. 18:10KIM: So now, this is not my fault
  474. 18:12that she's having to run this again.
  475. 18:14She actually has benefited.
  476. 18:15It's worked well well.
  477. 18:16It's in her favor, but for Nia and Kendall,
  478. 18:19their duet is never finish.
  479. 18:20ABBY LEE MILLER: You have a lot of work to do on that routine.
  480. 18:22It's not easy.
  481. 18:23All right.
  482. 18:24Get the duet, and get them in here.
  483. 18:26[cheering]
  484. 18:30Go.
  485. 18:31[music playing]
  486. 18:36HOLLY: Abby's stances tend to be pretty complex and well out.
  487. 18:39But this week's duet, they don't even have their choreography,
  488. 18:43let alone knowing what the concept of the dance is about.
  489. 18:46The new Chloe took up so much time for solo.
  490. 18:48There isn't much rehearsal time for anybody else.
  491. 18:50So does Abby do this often to your girls,
  492. 18:52where she's on the phone? - Always.
  493. 18:54- Yes. - Always.
  494. 18:55She's always on the phone.
  495. 18:56ABBY LEE MILLER: Go.
  496. 18:57Stronger back, Nia.
  497. 18:58Get your butt under.
  498. 18:59Close your ribs.
  499. 19:00HOLLY: She wants to make sure Abby's looking at her.
  500. 19:03You're using her back for leverage on the barrel roll,
  501. 19:06and you're not doing it.
  502. 19:07Pick up your foot and PK on it.
  503. 19:09Come on.
  504. 19:11We don't have time to go over old stuff.
  505. 19:14That's what their mothers don't understand.
  506. 19:16They're not quick.
  507. 19:18And they don't come in perfect.
  508. 19:20I am so busy fixing Nia and Kendall's mistakes.
  509. 19:24I don't even have time to work on the duet.
  510. 19:26Do you understand?
  511. 19:28We gave you a front handspring, couldn't do it.
  512. 19:30Giving you something else, and your early, twice.
  513. 19:33So she's going to give them a lecture after she's
  514. 19:35been on the phone.
  515. 19:35I'm so mad.
  516. 19:37And I'm so sick of being on the bottom of the pyramid
  517. 19:40because it's not my kid's fault.
  518. 19:42HOLLY: It's not that great to be on the top of the pyramid.
  519. 19:44She's been here for hours.
  520. 19:45She's been here all day.
  521. 19:46That number should be done.
  522. 19:48ABBY LEE MILLER: We got to go.
  523. 19:50Yeah. We just stop.
  524. 19:51That's it.
  525. 19:52How is it, Abby?
  526. 19:53ABBY LEE MILLER: Horrible.
  527. 19:54Why is it horrible?
  528. 19:57We'll spend some time--
  529. 19:58We just spent 17 minutes trying to tell your kid what
  530. 20:00foot she was on.
  531. 20:02I got to let the class out.
  532. 20:03See.
  533. 20:03That's why I don't go in there.
  534. 20:05No.
  535. 20:06She's a bitch.
  536. 20:07I've had it.
  537. 20:08This is it.
  538. 20:09I just wish someone would treat Abby the way
  539. 20:11she treats these kids.
  540. 20:13ABBY LEE MILLER: I'm more concerned about your two kids
  541. 20:14and they don't have a duet.
  542. 20:16I'm pulling the duet as of right now.
  543. 20:17[gasping]
  544. 20:18Don't-- it's ridiculous.
  545. 20:20I like the number.
  546. 20:21I went to great lengths for this duet.
  547. 20:24I asked Nia to do a front handspring over her.
  548. 20:26Hoo, hoo, hoo.
  549. 20:28We needed them to come in today ready to go on.
  550. 20:31But I think at this point, I think they feel they're getting
  551. 20:34the short end of the stick.
  552. 20:35They know how valuable the time is in that studio.
  553. 20:38I want to get it done.
  554. 20:39Exactly.
  555. 20:40And how is it going to get done for the competition?
  556. 20:42You tell me.
  557. 20:43I'm a problem solver. I mean--
  558. 20:44ABBY LEE MILLER: Well, solve this one.
  559. 20:45- I don't know how-- - We're finished.
  560. 20:46I have work to do with Rachel.
  561. 20:49Figure out who I'm going to sell these two costumes to.
  562. 20:52Am I really going to pull this duet?
  563. 20:54I don't know.
  564. 20:55We have to go and see them do a duet that we don't even know.
  565. 20:58Well, you're going to learn it.
  566. 20:59Don't worry about it.
  567. 21:03[music playing]
  568. 21:12ABBY LEE MILLER: We just arrived in Voorhees, New Jersey.
  569. 21:14And I am ready to kick some butt.
  570. 21:16New Chloe has to prove that she belongs on my team.
  571. 21:20And the old Chloe, well, does she still belong on this team?
  572. 21:24We'll see.
  573. 21:25[music playing]
  574. 21:32Exactly.
  575. 21:33So make today count.
  576. 21:35You know.
  577. 21:37New mom, Ms. Kim, you better get a needle and thread ready.
  578. 21:40All right, ladies.
  579. 21:42Oh, wait.
  580. 21:43Wait a minute.
  581. 21:44You have to borrow a needle and thread?
  582. 21:46Yes, Abby.
  583. 21:47I have to borrow--
  584. 21:49Because you couldn't fly on the plane with the needle
  585. 21:50or because you don't normally sew?
  586. 21:52--sew something in her hair.
  587. 21:53I don't normally sew the moment
  588. 21:54before a competition, no.
  589. 21:55But I'm very capable of doing that.
  590. 22:01MELISSA: Kim is basically catatonic.
  591. 22:03It looked like she didn't know what to do to get her daughter
  592. 22:06dress, her hair done.
  593. 22:07She's never sew a hairpiece her daughter's head.
  594. 22:09Wait.
  595. 22:10Are you've sewing in something in her hair or something.
  596. 22:12I think I'm sewing a liner in the top.
  597. 22:13And look, here's probably this color.
  598. 22:15Yep.
  599. 22:16I don't know if Melissa's the best one to be helping you.
  600. 22:18I'm just holding it so--
  601. 22:19She's being very sweet.
  602. 22:20I'm very nice.
  603. 22:21I don't just think of her as the arts and crafts
  604. 22:23kind of girl.
  605. 22:24All I'm doing is holding it while she's--
  606. 22:26She might be Betty homemaker, but that's not the kind of home
  607. 22:28she's making.
  608. 22:31I personally don't know why Melissa is being such a kiss
  609. 22:33ass to Kim.
  610. 22:35But history has proven that Melissa always has an ulterior
  611. 22:37motive.
  612. 22:38OK, Chloe, let's go try this costume on.
  613. 22:51Abby, did you ever get a chance
  614. 22:52to see the duet in its final stage after the 17 minutes
  615. 22:55she spent with it this weekend?
  616. 22:56It could have been five minutes.
  617. 22:58You're lucky, they got 17.
  618. 23:01I think you only spent 17 minutes on the duet
  619. 23:04because you spent the time with the new girl.
  620. 23:06And I appreciate you spending that time with Chloe.
  621. 23:08Thank you.
  622. 23:09Well, you should appreciate that.
  623. 23:10[overlapping voices]
  624. 23:12Do you want me to scratch the duet?
  625. 23:14Not a problem.
  626. 23:15If you think 17 minutes isn't enough for your really smart
  627. 23:17kid, that's fine.
  628. 23:18No.
  629. 23:19No need to get defensive.
  630. 23:20I'm just--
  631. 23:21I'm not offensive.
  632. 23:22HOLLY: I think you are.
  633. 23:23I'm getting angry, and you're wasting my time.
  634. 23:26All right, girls.
  635. 23:27When you step out on that stage, you are representing the Abby
  636. 23:30Lee Dance Company.
  637. 23:31You better look amazing.
  638. 23:33I want you to be the Chloe that I know you can be.
  639. 23:37And you, show everybody in that audience
  640. 23:41that you are the new Chloe and you are here to stay.
  641. 23:44All right.
  642. 23:45Let's go.
  643. 23:46[music playing]
  644. 24:02These girls had no time to prepare.
  645. 24:04And duets are harder than solos because their timing has
  646. 24:07to be perfect.
  647. 24:09I know Abby doesn't care about this duet, but I do.
  648. 24:12And I need for these kids to go out there and nail it.
  649. 24:15HOST: Entry 131, Pieces Together.
  650. 24:18[cheering]
  651. 24:22[music playing]
  652. 24:32(SINGING) I never wanted to hurt you.
  653. 24:37You do it to yourself.
  654. 24:42I can give you all you need just like nobody else.
  655. 24:50You have to go your own way, but where did that get you to?
  656. 24:59Not every piece is broken.
  657. 25:03Who have mercy on you.
  658. 25:08When the dreams are gone, when there's nothing left, when
  659. 25:12the feeling's gone, when it's in a mess, when the shadow's long,
  660. 25:18I'll be picking up the pieces of your heart, your heart.
  661. 25:29When the dreams are gone, when there's nothing left, when
  662. 25:34the feeling's gone, when it's in a mess, when the shadow's long,
  663. 25:40I'll be picking up the pieces of your heart, your heart.
  664. 25:56[cheering]
  665. 26:0317 minutes.
  666. 26:05The number unlocks a thousand times better than I ever
  667. 26:08imagined it could be.
  668. 26:10If they had more time than 17 minutes,
  669. 26:14imagine what this duet could look like.
  670. 26:16HOST: Up next, ladies and gentlemen,
  671. 26:17we have number 123, Seeing Red.
  672. 26:20[cheering]
  673. 26:24You know, it's so obvious that Abby has a target right
  674. 26:27in the middle of Chloe's back.
  675. 26:29And she has her guns aimed right at it.
  676. 26:31And her trigger finger is itchy.
  677. 26:33But you know what, they make a cream for that.
  678. 26:38[music playing]
  679. 27:01(SINGING) Ouch.
  680. 27:03Nothing hurts more than nothing.
  681. 27:11I'm numb.
  682. 27:13It all feel the same now that it's different.
  683. 27:22Just once is all it takes to take away the life of something
  684. 27:37you hate.
  685. 27:42Red are my hands.
  686. 27:44Red is your fate.
  687. 27:47Red is the color you will taste.
  688. 28:14Ouch.
  689. 28:16Nothing hurts more than nothing.
  690. 28:28[cheering]
  691. 28:36CHRISTI: My Chloe looks amazing on stage.
  692. 28:39And I think the new Chloe has actually
  693. 28:42lit a fire under the old Chloe.
  694. 28:44Play it safe, but still be daring because Abby doesn't
  695. 28:48like when you play it safe.
  696. 28:49But make sure you're not like falling all over the place.
  697. 28:52I'm very nervous when Chloe gets on stage.
  698. 28:54She needs to be perfect.
  699. 29:01There is no denying that the new Chloe is a gorgeous dancer.
  700. 29:05But the whole point of this competition team
  701. 29:08is pressure and to win.
  702. 29:12Good luck, Chloe.
  703. 29:13HOST: Next number is number 121, The First Day.
  704. 29:17[cheering]
  705. 29:24[music playing]
  706. 29:34(SINGING) Today is the first day of the rest of my time.
  707. 29:40I knew when you turned away, I would never
  708. 29:43take another deep breath, but I know
  709. 29:47it'll be OK cause I'm just built that way.
  710. 29:52I know it'll be OK cause I'm just built that way.
  711. 30:08Today is the first day of the rest of my life.
  712. 30:13I knew when you turned away, I would never see another neon
  713. 30:18light, but I know it'll be alright
  714. 30:22cause I'm just built to fight.
  715. 30:25I know it'll be OK cause I'm just built that way.
  716. 30:32I don't need to tell you how to complicate this if you already
  717. 30:35know just how to break my heart.
  718. 30:38Every time I open up my eyes you take this
  719. 30:40to another level of performance art, performance
  720. 30:46art, performance art, performance art.
  721. 31:09HOST: Thank you.
  722. 31:17I can't believe it.
  723. 31:19That makes me look unprofessional.
  724. 31:21And that mom, a failure.
  725. 31:25That ruined her whole routine.
  726. 31:26She was gorgeous.
  727. 31:28Oh, my God.
  728. 31:29It's a scandal on the dance floor.
  729. 31:30The new Chloe's headpiece just fell out.
  730. 31:32Did she just open the door for the old Chloe?
  731. 31:39Hi, Abby.
  732. 31:40Your kid had one chance, one opportunity
  733. 31:43to get on this team.
  734. 31:45Because the kid that I saw on stage in Orlando perform
  735. 31:48was amazing.
  736. 31:51She had beat Maddie the crap out of her.
  737. 31:55And that kid that I just saw on stage was a hot mess.
  738. 31:58And that headpiece falling out at the end
  739. 32:00was just like the icing on the cake.
  740. 32:02And that one right there, she's teaching that kid that when you
  741. 32:05get on stage and perform, you better
  742. 32:08look like you're from the Abby Lee Dance Company.
  743. 32:10Chloe is used to a lot of pressure.
  744. 32:12But today, she was a little rough
  745. 32:13around the edges and everybody has a day that they're
  746. 32:16a little rough.
  747. 32:17It's just a learning curve.
  748. 32:19Good job, girls.
  749. 32:21You did great.
  750. 32:23ABBY LEE MILLER: I don't want to see the back of your head
  751. 32:25down to the floor.
  752. 32:26When you turn around, you should not be putting forward.
  753. 32:29Belly in, ribs in, ribs in.
  754. 32:31All right.
  755. 32:31That's it.
  756. 32:32We're going out on stage.
  757. 32:33New Chloe, good luck.
  758. 32:36Break a leg.
  759. 32:37You need me to forget what I saw when you did that solo out
  760. 32:41there.
  761. 32:42KIM: I think Chloe is going to prove Abby wrong.
  762. 32:44I think she's going to show Abby that she is the girl that
  763. 32:47was at that audition.
  764. 32:49HOST: Ladies and gentlemen, entry number 214
  765. 32:51is an open small group.
  766. 32:53Why Not Me?
  767. 32:57[music playing]
  768. 33:05(SINGING) Sure I've made some bad decisions more than once
  769. 33:09or twice.
  770. 33:11Lost my sense of intuition to some bad advice.
  771. 33:19But every road to romance has some bumps along the way.
  772. 33:26It's a dance, a game of chance, we all choose to play.
  773. 33:33Maybe I am idealistic when it comes to love,
  774. 33:40but lately I'm quite optimistic due to who I'm dreamin' of.
  775. 33:48My heart's found a new direction that's positively true.
  776. 33:54So I put best foot forward.
  777. 33:58And I'm hopin' it leads to you.
  778. 34:16Maybe I am idealistic when it comes to love,
  779. 34:23But lately I'm quite optimistic due to who I'm dreamin' of.
  780. 34:31My heart has found a new direction that's positively
  781. 34:36true.
  782. 34:37So I'll put my best foot forward.
  783. 34:41And I'm hopin' it leads to you.
  784. 34:44Oh, I put my best foot forward.
  785. 34:48And I'm hopin' it leads to you.
  786. 34:56[cheering]
  787. 34:59ABBY LEE MILLER: The dance was OK.
  788. 35:02There was a few missteps here and there.
  789. 35:05But for the most part, they looked gorgeous.
  790. 35:08And sometimes, it's all about the look.
  791. 35:11I thought the crowd loved them, but I don't know.
  792. 35:14KIM: Well, ladies, I just want you to know
  793. 35:16that my daughter was off today.
  794. 35:18It's probably because her choreography she's used to
  795. 35:20is a little more difficult than this.
  796. 35:22I don't know if I want to be down here now that I've seen
  797. 35:24what it's like slumming it here with you ladies,
  798. 35:26and slumming it in Pittsburgh.
  799. 35:28Wow.
  800. 35:29Get out of here.
  801. 35:34KIM: Well, ladies, I just want you to know that I don't know
  802. 35:36if I want to be down here now that I've seen what it's
  803. 35:38like slumming in here with you ladies.
  804. 35:40And slumming in Pittsburgh may not be my style at all.
  805. 35:44I don't live in the slums so I don't
  806. 35:45know what she's talking about.
  807. 35:46KIM: My daughter benefits in mine.
  808. 35:48I don't know what your experiences are with slums.
  809. 35:50I don't have that.
  810. 35:51I really don't have a frame of reference.
  811. 35:53First, she insults our kids, then us, now, where we live.
  812. 35:57Three strikes, you're out.
  813. 35:59I've had enough of you.
  814. 36:00There's no one person who's better than somebody else.
  815. 36:03And that includes you.
  816. 36:04CHRISTI: I don't know if we refer to it as slumming around
  817. 36:06here.
  818. 36:07I think we refer to it as teamwork.
  819. 36:07We are a team.
  820. 36:09I don't think that my daughter needs this team that she needs
  821. 36:12my daughter.
  822. 36:13And I think I'm going to take a little break from.
  823. 36:15I have better places to spend my time.
  824. 36:17Like this is how it is here.
  825. 36:18If you don't like it you might as well run.
  826. 36:20Get out of here.
  827. 36:24Hey, what's going on?
  828. 36:25Well, you know, I just don't know that I like these moms.
  829. 36:28I don't know if--
  830. 36:29ABBY LEE MILLER: Oh, listen--
  831. 36:30I don't know if I like the whole situation.
  832. 36:32What's going on?
  833. 36:34I found Kim on the hallway.
  834. 36:36Wait till you hear all the crap she talked about you.
  835. 36:38She told us she's slumming it with us,
  836. 36:40with you, at our studio.
  837. 36:43She said she's slumming it.
  838. 36:44Don't say you're slumming it.
  839. 36:45I have a pretty good record so far, sweetheart.
  840. 36:47I was offering your daughter the opportunity of a lifetime.
  841. 36:53MELISSA: The moms have had enough of Kim.
  842. 36:54And now she's getting on the bad side of Abby.
  843. 36:57I say, see you later, Kim.
  844. 36:59Bye, bye.
  845. 37:00Hi, girls.
  846. 37:01Hi.
  847. 37:02Good job.
  848. 37:03Hello.
  849. 37:04Good job.
  850. 37:04Good job.
  851. 37:05Good job.
  852. 37:06They were wonderful.
  853. 37:07Yay.
  854. 37:08But the feet could have been a little better, the timing could
  855. 37:12have been a little better.
  856. 37:13The energy could have been a little better.
  857. 37:15We're going out there.
  858. 37:16And it's going to be awards.
  859. 37:17Put the smile on your face and nobody
  860. 37:20better sit on that stage and slouch.
  861. 37:23[music playing]
  862. 37:29HOST: So now, ladies and gentlemen,
  863. 37:32we are now going to Junior Advanced Solo top scorers.
  864. 37:36Fourth overall goes to entry number
  865. 37:38129, Something's Got to Give.
  866. 37:43Third runner up goes you entry number 123, Seeing Red.
  867. 37:53CHRISTI: I can't believe that Chloe came in fourth.
  868. 37:55There is nothing that I wanted more in life than for Chloe
  869. 37:58to prove that she belongs on this team.
  870. 38:02HOST: First runner up, entry number 121, The First Day.
  871. 38:11ABBY LEE MILLER: New Chloe was the second place
  872. 38:13overall high score winner.
  873. 38:15But when your headpiece falls out on the stage,
  874. 38:17it's distracting to the judges.
  875. 38:19It's unprofessional.
  876. 38:21HOST: Next up, Junior Advanced Duo top scores.
  877. 38:25Our third runner up goes to entry number 161,
  878. 38:29The Way You Make Me Feel.
  879. 38:32Now our second runner up, entry number 131, Pieces Together.
  880. 38:44Next, we have Junior Advanced Small Group high scores.
  881. 38:49First runner up, entry number 167, Pole Riders.
  882. 38:56Our top scorer for Junior Advanced Small Group,
  883. 39:01entry number 214, Why Not Me?
  884. 39:06ABBY LEE MILLER: The group got first place.
  885. 39:08Am I happy?
  886. 39:09Yes.
  887. 39:10But I think the girls could have done a better job.
  888. 39:12I think they should have stepped up to the plate,
  889. 39:14especially with new Chloe here, threatening their spot.
  890. 39:17All right.
  891. 39:20I'm shutting the door.
  892. 39:21I'm not letting the kids come in.
  893. 39:23They're all excited.
  894. 39:23They're thrilled.
  895. 39:24I'm not.
  896. 39:25Kim, if your kid would have won that,
  897. 39:30she'd have been a shoo in for this team.
  898. 39:32That's what I want.
  899. 39:33Once again, I have a second, I have a fourth
  900. 39:37with the old Chloe.
  901. 39:38I need a first.
  902. 39:40If you give her another week, you'll be much more impressed.
  903. 39:44I don't know.
  904. 39:46And I have to duet, third.
  905. 39:49Third.
  906. 39:50Yeah.
  907. 39:51Third is not good enough.
  908. 39:53But that's third with 17 minutes of your attention.
  909. 39:56I wish your kid would just point her feet, point her feet.
  910. 40:00And then the judges would have look at that.
  911. 40:02Because you teach a child more than 17 minutes.
  912. 40:05ABBY LEE MILLER: Certainly, a child
  913. 40:06that warrants my attention.
  914. 40:08She warrants?
  915. 40:09Yes.
  916. 40:10Get that straight.
  917. 40:12Have a nice day.
  918. 40:14Oh, she's miserable bitch.
  919. 40:17ABBY LEE MILLER: Next on "Dance Moms"--
  920. 40:19ladies, this is a reality check.
  921. 40:21I will be forming another team to challenge.
  922. 40:25She doesn't want us.
  923. 40:26That's what she wants.
  924. 40:27ABBY LEE MILLER: I'm not just getting kids
  925. 40:28from all over the country now.
  926. 40:29628, you're fabulous.
  927. 40:31Come sit over there.
  928. 40:32She's from the Broadway cast of Matilda.
  929. 40:34This new team will be unstoppable.
  930. 40:37I want a winning duet.
  931. 40:39You got all the time, Melissa.
  932. 40:40MELISSA: I do not.
  933. 40:41And now having your kid lie.
  934. 40:43Get your finger out of my face.
