0:17interview with Dr Miriam Gman the author
0:20of lost and transnation last Friday on
0:24the show we were talking about the way
0:26language got detached from meaning
0:28During the post-modern period about the
0:30kind of progression from Faith where we
0:35understood what we were all talking
0:36about and we all kind of had a sense of
0:38the the human person to the
0:40disintegration of the idea of the human
0:42being as a source of values a source of
0:44experience uh Shakespeare saw this
0:46coming in Hamlet's mad scene uh where
0:49Hamlet has asked what he's reading and
0:50he said words words words I genuinely
0:53believe that that was Shakespeare's
0:54prophecy of where the culture was going
0:57and how words were going to lose their
0:59meaning and it shouldn't come as any
1:00surprise that one of the ways in which
1:03this Detachment of of language from
1:05meaning uh is being used is to detach us
1:08and alienate us from the central fact of
1:11human existence and the central joy for
1:13most of us the central joy and Miracle
1:15of human existence which is the fact
1:17that some humans are made male and some
1:19are female through most of human history
1:21this has been the source of joy and it
1:23still Remains the source of the creation
1:24of the human race and somehow we have
1:26lost the plot of that essential bit of
1:30business uh that that is the creation
1:32and the love and the uh goal of humanity
1:36Miriam Gman is a medical doctor she
1:39doesn't just call herself a doctor she
1:40is one she is board certified in
1:42Psychiatry and in the subsp specialty of
1:44Child and Adolescent Psychiatry she's
1:46the author of four books including
1:48unprotected and you're teaching my child
1:50what and also the book I mentioned in at
1:53First lost in transnation her work
1:55exposing the origin and Hazards of the
1:57sexuality and gender industry uh has
1:59been been translated into many languages
2:01and of course she appeared in Matt
2:03Walsh's uh terrific film what is a woman
2:07Dr Grossman thank you so much for coming
2:08on oh you're so welcome Andrew and I
2:11love what you just said about Detachment
2:15perfect Bingo Bullseye home run well
2:20thank you that's good that's good to
2:21hear since you actually are a a doctor
2:23in a psychiatrist you must be seeing
2:25this a lot in a practice that deals with
2:28with young people before I I want to
2:30talk about some of your personal
2:32experiences and some of the things that
2:33you're seeing but can you give us some
2:36kind of history of how I mean it's
2:38always stunning to me how these things
2:40are introduced on a Wednesday and by
2:42Thursday they are absolute doctrinaire
2:46religion and you can't speak against
2:48them or you get censored you get
2:49cancelled how did that happen how did
2:52that happen so quickly okay well of
2:55course that's usually the number one
2:57question and I have to say say we could
3:00be here for many hours just just just
3:03answering that particular question but
3:05in a
3:06nutshell I would say that a number of
3:10decades ago in the 50s and 60s there was
3:14uh there were people that were I'm going
3:18to have to say
3:20Wicked okay bad immoral people people
3:24who wanted to destroy our
3:28judeo-christian heritage
3:30and to move us away from those
3:33judeo-christian roots and
3:36truths and one of those truths as you
3:40mentioned is the uh is the fact that
3:44humans are male or female we are mammals
3:49mammals are either male or female that
3:53is a established at conception the
3:56moment that the egg and the sperm Unite
4:00we get a cell that is either male or
4:02female and that cell develops into a
4:06full human being whose every cell in
4:10that fully developed human is male or
4:13female so it is established at
4:17conception it is
4:19permanent and of course there are more
4:23feminine boys and more masculine boy
4:26girls that is
4:28personality that is not sex so what's
4:32happening now is that we are living
4:34through a a a a period of mass delusion
4:40Mass
4:41psychosis especially among young people
4:45who have been indoctrinated to believe
4:48that male and female are human
4:52inventions that biology can be
4:56dismissed and basically that reality can
4:58be dismissed
5:00this is very
5:02dangerous it's funny you couldn't even
5:04say a boy was feminine if there weren't
5:06such a thing as femininity that existed
5:08in girls who wouldn't even know what it
5:10was can you though I just want to say
5:13you said these people were Wicked you
5:14said they had it in for judeo-christian
5:16values just so people know that we're
5:18not uh just raving you know shaking our
5:20fists at at the world can you be
5:22specific and and tell me like give me an
5:25example yes of course uh I'm referring
5:28now to Dr John money who was an eminent
5:32psychologist at John's Hopkins
5:35University and Dr money was a troubled
5:39soul he was the person who uh Advanced
5:44the theory that male and female is a
5:47social construct in other words that he
5:51he believed that we are born um gender
5:56neutral that a boy could depending on
5:59the environment could grow up to be a
6:01girl and a girl could grow up to be a
6:04boy depending on uh the expectations and
6:08messages from her family and her
6:11environment of course you know he
6:14admitted that there are some anatomical
6:17differences between between male and
6:20female but everything else aside from
6:23those anatomical differences and the
6:26ability of women to get pregnant and
6:29gestate give birth and nurse he said
6:33everything else is a social
6:36construct and so what he did was um he
6:42really devoted his life John money to
6:45proving this
6:46Theory and I'm I'll just give you a
6:49brief overview of this very fascinating
6:53and tragic story of the reamer twins
6:57that many of your listeners have
6:59probably we heard about but just in a
7:01nutshell this was an unfortunate family
7:05um who gave birth to twin boys and one
7:09of them during their circumcision the
7:12equipment
7:13malfunctioned and one of the boys penis
7:16was burnt off he was left without a
7:20penis the parents were desperate of
7:22course they heard Dr money on television
7:26this was in the 60s they heard Dr money
7:30uh talking about how a boy could be
7:32raised as a girl you just have to do it
7:35early enough castrate him um put him in
7:39dresses give him dolls raise him as a
7:41girl and he'll be
7:43fine so uh in their desperation they
7:46turned to him they went down to John's
7:48Hopkins from Winnipeg Canada and they
7:51followed his instructions to the te they
7:54had him castrated they they told
7:57everyone that he was a girl they told
8:00him obviously that he was a girl he was
8:02about 18 months at that time so this was
8:05the ultimate quote unquote social
8:08transition what we what we now call
8:10social transition a new name new
8:13pronouns new presentation to the world
8:16dresses toys the whole thing and they
8:20they went on like this for a few years
8:23now John money when the Twins were about
8:27five or six years old reported this
8:30experiment to be a complete success and
8:34it was a huge Splash it got a tremendous
8:37amount of attention in the Press both
8:40the medical and you know the um
8:43professional press and in the lay press
8:45as well because look he was telling to
8:49the world this was during a time of the
8:52nature versus nurture debate right
8:54what's more important
8:57chromosomes uh Anatomy
9:00or the way that you're raised the
9:03society uh the messages from society and
9:06John money says said that his experiment
9:09proved beyond a shadow of the doubt that
9:13it was nurture that makes the difference
9:15and so he achieved great Fame with this
9:19experiment with the twins the thing is
9:22that many years later in the late
9:2690s uh this twin who had been renamed
9:31Brenda uh came out publicly as David and
9:37told his story his disastrous story The
9:40Experiment was a hoax the experiment was
9:44a catastrophe he never felt comfortable
9:47as a girl he was extremely masculine
9:51stereotypically masculine in terms of
9:54his behaviors the way that he walked his
9:57gestures um he was an aggressive child
10:01he enjoyed fighting he preferred his
10:04brothers his twin brothers toys his
10:07trucks over the dolls that his parents
10:11gave him he ripped off those dresses he
10:14wanted to wear boy
10:16clothes so
10:18obviously obviously um John's money
10:21theory about uh David having been born
10:25gender neutral was false it his proof of
10:31concept study his experiment with the
10:34twins failed miserably the thing is that
10:37John money was an evil man and he
10:40concocted this Theory because of his own
10:44inner emotional problems he was raised
10:48by a raging alcoholic father who
10:52regularly beat him and his mother and
10:56John money wrote about his own
10:59discomfort with his masculinity with his
11:03genitals so John money had what we would
11:06call today gender
11:10dysphoria he was unhappy uncomfortable
11:13with his body so you know you don't have
11:16to be a genius to figure out how this
11:20theory of his would help to solve some
11:23of his issues because if he wanted to
11:27escape his manhood if he wanted to be
11:30the opposite of his
11:33raging
11:35Maniac
11:37father then he could in his own mind say
11:41well it doesn't matter that I'm you know
11:44that I'm ex that I have XY chromosomes
11:47it doesn't matter that I have male
11:49genitals like my father did I can be
11:53different than him because it's really
11:55nurture that makes the difference not
11:57nature when you say he was evil what
12:00aside from the obvious stupidity of his
12:04ideas what constituted his evil well
12:07there were many things that he did that
12:08was evil first of all he was Pro uh he
12:13was an advocate of of he was a pedophile
12:17yeah that's what I so he was an advocate
12:19of of adult child sexual behavior he was
12:24a he spoke out publicly for incest he
12:29said that incest is not necessarily a
12:31negative experience for the
12:33child okay he his life was devoted to
12:38taking down judeo-christian values um he
12:42also presented this data about the twins
12:47he falsified his
12:49data um the twins yeah the the twins
12:53mother reported back to him that Brenda
12:58or DAV Avid was having a lot of issues
13:01and not doing well and in fact she wrote
13:04John money when the Twins were 14 that
13:07the parents had informed them that David
13:10that Brenda was not a girl that Brenda
13:13had been born a boy which John money had
13:16told them never to do but because Brenda
13:20David had become suicidal when he
13:24entered puberty and he realized that he
13:27was attracted to girls
13:29he was growing breasts because John
13:31money had arranged for him to be given
13:34estrogen and John money was trying to
13:36convince him to have a vaginoplasty the
13:40construction of a vagina and so this
13:43poor Brenda David was
13:46suicidal and his psychiatrist in uh in
13:50Winnipeg told his parents you must tell
13:53him the truth now when he was told the
13:55truth and this is an amazing story it's
13:58told in the book by John kapino called
14:01as nature made him the boy who was
14:03raised as a girl but the moment that he
14:06was told his true identity that he is a
14:10boy he felt tremendous
14:14relief he felt that he knew all along
14:17that something was terribly wrong he was
14:21never comfortable as a girl and yet and
14:24he had been abused by the way every time
14:27every year that they took the twins down
14:29to see John money John money was
14:31sexually abusing those boys of course of
14:34course
14:35yeah all right my boys gather around

15:52an all right so now do you are are are
15:56you still in practice do you see
15:58children yourself and you must be seeing
16:01some of this as you said it's kind of a
16:03mass psychosis it's an induced psychosis
16:05but it's still a mass psychosis every
16:08day you've seen it every day now
16:11what is this something that just appeals
16:15to kids who are already troubled or is
16:17it something that speaks to Something in
16:20them that you know that you recognize
16:22why why does this catch on I'm gonna say
16:25one more thing about David and then I'll
16:26answer your question I just want want to
16:28add I want your audience to know that
16:32David and his
16:34brother uh his brother died of an
16:37overdose uh at the age of
16:4036 and David uh killed himself with a
16:44shotgun at the age of 38 okay and their
16:47parents blamed John money for their
16:51deaths yeah overall it is kids who are
16:56vulnerable I would I would say
16:57vulnerable
16:59who are attracted to this ideology and
17:05this delusion of being born in the wrong
17:08body but that is not to say that it
17:10doesn't affect
17:12everybody but
17:14yes you know you are correct for example
17:17kids who are on the autism spectrum and
17:21these are kids
17:22who you know have social issues they
17:25don't fit in anywhere they have
17:28difficult because of their autism with
17:31um you know with socializing with
17:33picking up on cues understanding um you
17:37know facial expressions understanding
17:39jokes understanding
17:41sarcasm and they they have a hard time
17:46understandably especially when Middle
17:48School comes finding their peer group
17:52where they feel accepted and they feel
17:55good about themselves and they all also
17:59kids who are on the autism spectrum have
18:01something called black and white
18:03thinking what that means is that they
18:06see the world in terms of either or they
18:09don't see the gray so if you have a girl
18:12for example who is uncomfortable with
18:16her developing body and she hates
18:19getting her
18:20period and she hates the attention that
18:24she's getting from men because of her
18:26changing body she might say to herself
18:29you know I don't like being a girl I
18:32must be a boy so is is there a treatment
18:36for that condition that actually works
18:40that you know that keeps them from
18:41butchering themselves and oh of course
18:44there is of course these kids can be can
18:47be helped the thing is that they're
18:50being indoctrinated at an early age you
18:53know I speak in my book about these
18:56books that are being written for
19:00toddlers for toddlers And preschoolers
19:04that say things like um adults make
19:08mistakes when you were born they may
19:11have taken a look at your body and said
19:13oh you're a boy oh you're a girl they
19:17you couldn't speak up when you were born
19:19and tell them no I'm not a boy but now
19:22you can speak up and you need to tell
19:24the world who you really are cuz adults
19:27make mistakes so what I'm saying is that
19:30Andrew yes I mean there is help of
19:33course there's help for these kids but
19:35the problem is they become indoctrinated
19:38they start hearing about this you know
19:41this these falsehoods um they and they
19:45they take it in you know left and right
19:48not only from our media our
19:50entertainment but at school from their
19:53teachers from their guidance counselors
19:55from their peers online YouTube tube
19:59everywhere and one of the things that I
20:01warn parents about is they have to get
20:04control of their child's uh internet use
20:07and I have instructions in my book I
20:09have an appendix written by an IT expert
20:12on how to get control of your child's
20:15internet use not you don't please don't
20:19wait until your kid comes home and at
20:21dinner one day says Mom Dad I'm not your
20:24daughter I'm your
20:26son if you wait until that point you you
20:29have a you have a very Steep Hill to
20:32climb you want years years before that
20:35happens you want to present the proper
20:40information the biological truths to
20:42your children you want to tell your
20:44child when they're still
20:46young you want to say you know from the
20:49moment that you first existed when you
20:52were
20:53inside your mother's womb or inside your
20:57mother's womb
20:59um you were either a boy or a girl from
21:02the very f it has nothing to do with
21:04being assigned there's no assigned at
21:08Birth and they're gonna you know we hear
21:10this I read this all over the medical
21:13literature and it drives me crazy I read
21:17in the you know journals of Pediatrics
21:19Endocrinology child psychiatry sex
21:23assigned at
21:25Birth this is wrong sex is established
21:30at conception and I recently testified
21:33to that effect in our Congress and the
21:36fact that I had to be asked a medical
21:39doctor has to go to the House of
21:41Representatives in Washington DC and
21:44testify that sex is established at Birth
21:47and it cannot be changed gives you an
21:50idea of the appalling situation that
21:52we're in well this is something I want
21:54to ask you we're talking to Dr Miriam
21:56Gman author of Lost in trans Nation uh
21:59she is a psychiatrist and a medical
22:01doctor in in fact I wouldn't ask you
22:03this question I'm going to ask you to
22:05speculate a little bit I wouldn't ask
22:06you to do this if you weren't a a doctor
22:08and a psychiatrist
22:10but it you know when we put this up on
22:13on YouTube they may censor parts of it
22:15because they don't want this obvious
22:17scientific truth against which there's
22:20no 0% evidence they don't want it spoken
22:23they think that it is wrong to speak it
22:25for a long time you get thrown off uh
22:28social media you could get condemned
22:30people would curse you for saying what
22:33is the obvious truth there is a this guy
22:36Richard LaVine who calls himself Rachel
22:38LaVine who is in our uh government who
22:40is telling people that children should
22:42trans transition and and nobody's doing
22:45what I think should be done which is
22:46arrest him but but I I would like you to
22:49speculate why is this taking off like
22:52that I mean if this had been told to
22:54people in in my day and you know in the
22:5660s and I don't think anybody would have
22:58bought into it except maybe maybe I'm
23:00wrong because of the story you tell
23:01about money but still you know I don't
23:03think it would have spread this way why
23:05do you think that this the um the
23:08society was ready for this particular
23:10poison plant to bloom okay so there I
23:13think there's a Confluence of different
23:16factors one is that uh the American
23:20Psychiatric association in
23:232013 changed the status of their
23:27diagnosis of gender identity
23:29disorder to call it gender dysphoria now
23:33that may sound like just a technical
23:35nomenclature change but it was much more
23:38than that because in doing that the
23:41American Psychiatric association was
23:44saying it's not a
23:46disorder to
23:48feel uh in conflict with your body it's
23:53not a disorder to feel basically
23:55disembodied like you're like your
23:58identity as a male or female is separate
24:01from your body that that's not a
24:03disorder we had already we had all
24:06always for decades considered it a
24:09disorder they changed that so that was
24:13one thing another thing that happened in
24:182015 as you know the definition of
24:21marriage was
24:23changed and marriage now that word now
24:29includes the union of Two Men and two
24:32women and before
24:352015 uh that uh that issue was really at
24:41the heart of of the entire
24:44LGBT um you know machine you know the uh
24:51yeah I'll call it a industry machine
24:52whatever you want to call it
24:55um and so so so a lot of money and
24:59energy went into that once that passed
25:03the Supreme Court passed that um there
25:08had to be a next thing I mean as you
25:10know Andrew with the left there's always
25:13going to be something else yeah and so
25:16that so this is another thing so for
25:18example the Human Rights Campaign um if
25:21you look at their policy statements
25:25before 2015 it was most there was very
25:28very little about
25:30transgenderism but then with 2015 it
25:33became focused on trans the transgender
25:36issue and the Human Rights Campaign is
25:39nothing to sneeze at they're a very very
25:42powerful Lobby group now the other thing
25:45that happened is social
25:47media okay an
25:50explosion of social media kids being
25:53given young kids being given
25:56smartphones intern internet access and
25:59so all this stuff is just they carry it
26:03around in their
26:05pockets and the internet is filled with
26:08groomers yeah people that want to reach
26:11children and influence them you know
26:14there there there's other things as well
26:16there's you know the rise of the
26:18transhumanism movement and all the money
26:20that's from that movement that's also
26:23put into
26:25transgenderism so I think it's a variety
26:28of issues you know there there do seem
26:30to be the occasional rare there does
26:33seem to be the occasional rare person I
26:35remember uh James Morris who was a
26:38writer and kind of a masculine adventure
26:40writer who became this kind of uh Mrs
26:43Tiggy Winkle sort of uh woman writer in
26:46his later years but who seemed actually
26:49to have found some kind of peace with
26:51himself so so this does see you agree
26:55that this does exist this condition does
26:57exist abs absolutely and I'm glad you
26:58brought that up okay Jan Morris very
27:02interesting person wrote a fascinating
27:04book called canundrum
27:06so he or she because in this instance I
27:10would say she actually very very rare
27:14instance we've always known in
27:17Psychiatry that there are extremely rare
27:20instances one in many tens of thousands
27:24of people in which from an early ear age
27:28age three four the person not from being
27:33on the internet not from hearing about
27:35it at
27:36school okay not from seeing it at Target
27:41but from some inner process something
27:44emotional is going on with them we don't
27:47understand it um they have a persistent
27:52inner sense of of not belonging in their
27:57sex
27:59bodies and it is a serious
28:03condition um again extremely rare the
28:09problem is that this you see this is a
28:12completely different population than our
28:15current um epidemic of kids okay and I
28:20explain this in the book very very
28:22important our current epidemic of kids
28:25we have a 5,000% increase in kids who
28:29are identifying as the opposite sex just
28:31in the past 10 years or so 5,000%
28:35increase so it's a new population it's a
28:38population that's mostly
28:42girls um
28:44teenagers and uh kids who never before
28:48had discomfort with being boys or girls
28:51so it's a totally different population
28:55than the Jan morrises of the world
28:58and I will add the also the um the Jazz
29:01Jennings of the world because Jazz
29:04Jennings is another example of a child
29:07from a very young age who had a sense of
29:11of being a girl or or wanting very much
29:14to be a girl the thing is with jazz jazz
29:16was not given the opportunity of going
29:19through normal male puberty which may
29:22have uh gotten him to a place of comfort
29:27with his body going through natural
29:29puberty he went on puberty blockers at
29:32age 11
29:33so he was never able to do that but you
29:37bring up a very very important point and
29:39I want people to understand that I'm not
29:42saying that there not that that this
29:45doesn't exist it does exist extremely
29:49rare cases and there are people that
29:53have been helped their mental status
29:58their me their emotional state has
30:01improved
30:03significantly with the medical
30:05interventions however we have no way of
30:08knowing
30:09beforehand who that's going to be who's
30:12going to feel better and who's not going
30:15to feel better so this is a it's a very
30:18complex subject um but my position is
30:23that no minor no minor at all should be
30:28given these uh experimental
30:31interventions yeah no that seems that
30:33seems clear uh you know I'm out of time
30:35I the only thing I'd like to ask if you
30:37can give me a short answer um is this do
30:41you think this is the sort of Madness of
30:43crowds thing that will pass or do you
30:45think this is a genuine disturbance in
30:48the society that we're not going to get
30:51over oh it's going to pass yeah because
30:54it doesn't you can't stand pass because
30:56it's not true true it doesn't it doesn't
30:59have a foundation of truth right so we
31:02know that it can't it can't last yeah
31:04okay because of the foundation but I do
31:06want to say Andrew that I want to I want
31:09to tell your listeners um your viewers I
31:13really I put my heart and soul I put my
31:16heart and soul into this book because I
31:19don't want to see more families in my
31:22practice who say to me they were
31:24blindsided I want parents to to
31:27inoculate their families and be educated
31:30and have the skills to fight this
31:33madness um and I'll also mention that
31:36many people I I know that many people
31:38can't sit down and and read a book
31:40either because they don't have the time
31:42or they have ad or whatever it is um and
31:45so they prefer audio and I did the
31:48narration for the audio book and people
31:51are loving it and I actually love doing
31:54the narration I was nervous about it but
31:56once I started it was great fun to read
32:00my book um and and and I imagined while
32:04I was narrating it people in their cars
32:07listening and people listening while
32:08they were doing the dishes and please
32:12please I'm urging parents to not be
32:16blindsided I don't want your family to
32:19be destroyed by this issue there are
32:22families that are torn apart I don't
32:24want to see your kid and your entire
32:27family suffer terribly from this I want
32:31your child to grow up healthy and uh and
32:35able to thrive and have biological
32:39children and have a normal sexual
32:41response and all that stuff yeah well
32:44the book again the author is Dr Miriam
32:47grman the book Is Lost in Translation
32:49it's very engagingly written it's not a
32:51scientific difficult to get through
32:53toome and I'm I'm really enjoying it too
