- 0:19talk about something that doesn't exist

- 0:24they don't talk to you no more I see you
- 0:27I love you moms will do anything to
- 0:30avoid it's very awkward when we see
- 0:33things on TV or we see a a queer couple
- 0:36in public awkward silence all the time
- 0:40the last time she came out was too scary
- 0:43for anyone to handle it's having to high
- 0:46five each other goodbye in front of your
- 0:48family as a precautionary measure so our
- 0:50queerness doesn't accidentally slip
- 0:53out you know I can't explain exactly
- 0:56what makes her my soulmate but I can
- 0:58tell you what it feels like to know with
- 1:00the love of my life it feels like honey
- 1:03dripping into my mouth because her
- 1:06kisses are the sweetest kisses I've ever
- 1:09had it's like after everything has
- 1:12slammed in my face she's still holding
- 1:15her front door open for me with hands
- 1:18and fingers warm enough to melt all the
- 1:21stairs into strawberry pink sunsets so
- 1:24that when I look into her eyes I can
- 1:26clearly see that she's all I'll ever
- 1:29need
- 1:30if I could speak openly about it to my
- 1:32mom I'd want to tell her that there's
- 1:35nothing wrong with this because this is
- 1:37what makes me
- 1:39happy this is for the queer Brown folks
- 1:43who live in the hood who know is a
- 1:46legitimate danger to walk in the streets
- 1:49and be Chana and queer and hold your
- 1:52girlfriend's hand
- 1:54anyway this is for the queer Brown folks
- 1:57Beautiful Brown and queer book I see you
- 2:02I know you I love
- 2:05you me too
