9. 0:32but I almost feel like I should in a
10. 0:34sense but I don't think yeah I know for
11. 0:37a fact that he didn't know so I don't
12. 0:39think that it was intentional on
13. 0:41anybody's part for any of it so yeah I
14. 0:44know that didn't look good but I mean
15. 0:46you can understand why I know one thing
16. 0:47if I got caught doing that I would have
17. 0:49gotten my ticket and got thrown Where I
18. 0:51Belong especially when they found out I
19. 0:53was a federal agent oh oh really you're
20. 0:54driving like that around here get your
21. 0:56ass in my car yeah well we figured going
22. 0:58through the airport restricted airspace
23. 1:00so they can't take the helicopters
24. 1:02through and we thought that the cars
25. 1:04that were following us from my
26. 1:05attorney's office were media because
27. 1:07there was a media band that followed us
28. 1:08and another band that went with them so
29. 1:10we're thinking oh [ __ ] here we go
30. 1:12mhm it's happened before it happens
31. 1:15every day I know it doesen I know it
32. 1:17does I'd like to make it stop happening
33. 1:20to be honest with you I would
34. 1:24too well you know what I'll say to that
35. 1:31I've said it to your mom I've said it to
36. 1:33your dad and I've said it to your
37. 1:34brother even MH you
38. 1:41know well that was one thing that they
39. 1:43all agreed upon was the fact that you've
40. 1:46extended you know your hand to help most
41. 1:49people
42. 1:50have't
43. 1:52so I was afraid that some of what I said
44. 1:55to them probably offended them because I
45. 1:58told them that if I find out something
46. 2:00that you don't want to hear M I'm going
47. 2:02to tell you anyone well honestly they'll
48. 2:05respect that that's just you know the
49. 2:07type of people that they are on the same
50. 2:09life I know I know they
51. 2:12are but uh when I hited with certain
52. 2:16things they don't want to hear and I
53. 2:17understand that yeah it doesn't mean I'm
54. 2:19not going to say exactly when you have
55. 2:21different beliefs in somebody it is hard
56. 2:23sometimes to hear their opinion that's
57. 2:25true that doesn't mean that they don't
58. 2:26respect your opinion or the fact that
59. 2:29you're coming for with what you think or
60. 2:30what you feel
61. 2:32so well to some extent it's comforting
62. 2:35to hear you say that because it was
63. 2:37never my intention to piss anybody in
64. 2:39your family off you know I'm not in it
65. 2:41to get a conviction I get nothing out of
66. 2:43it I get zero exactly you have a job
67. 2:45you're trying to
68. 2:46do I found a few and i' found a few and
69. 2:50it sucks both ways yeah I agree
70. 2:55so it is what it is
71. 3:01where I get side sideways with
72. 3:04people tends to be when attorneys get
73. 3:07involved I've heard most people say that
74. 3:09they don't like attorneys very much I
75. 3:11have I have many family members that are
76. 3:12attorneys I have no problems with
77. 3:14attorneys what I have problems with her
78. 3:16at some point M we have to set aside the
79. 3:19rules and we have to find
80. 3:22kids and you know what so be it that's
81. 3:25why I told you in the car you know if
82. 3:27you tell me anything now yeah I'll get
83. 3:29up and say yep I heard it and she'
84. 3:31already invoked and we can't use any of
85. 3:34it that's just the way it is that's all
86. 3:36that matters to me yeah and uh you know
87. 3:40when we did did the another case that I
88. 3:43was involved in you know they they lost
89. 3:45a confession and I sat there and I
90. 3:48looked right at the guys that we worked
91. 3:49with I said that's not what's important
92. 3:50who cares we found
93. 3:53her the founder and he's going to get
94. 3:55what is coming to him that's not my job
95. 3:57M you know and and it work works out in
96. 4:00the end and it works out in the end on
97. 4:02all sides M to be honest with you it may
98. 4:05not be comfortable for everybody yeah
99. 4:08and there I've done things that I get
100. 4:10caught for I'm not going to be
101. 4:12comfortable I can tell you that it's
102. 4:14just the way life is you know but it's
103. 4:17not the end of the road either and
104. 4:19that's what we have to keep in mind it's
105. 4:20not the end of the
106. 4:22road you
107. 4:25know just a random question um are there
108. 4:28cameras in all of the rooms no freaking
109. 4:30clue I've never been in this part of the
110. 4:32building so my guess would be
111. 4:35yes we're going to go get something to
112. 4:36drink do you want any soda Mountain de

114. 4:43much I know my mom I would gu us yeah
115. 4:47that's what I was thinking too well my
116. 4:48mom wasn't aware that there was a camera
117. 4:51in the room I guess when she met with
118. 4:53melich and I forget who else and the big
119. 4:55interviews that were released to the
120. 4:57media and she was infuriated MH you
121. 5:00would think that that's something that
122. 5:01you know you should be told but you
123. 5:04don't have to be right the law is the
124. 5:07law yeah and I will play Within the
125. 5:10rules of the law okay if if if it's a
126. 5:13tool that's available to me that I can
127. 5:14use later to look back on and see if I
128. 5:17missed something or could I have done
129. 5:18something better I'm going to take
130. 5:20advantage of it yeah exactly I would
131. 5:21assume that this place probably has one
132. 5:23somewhere ohly something that records
133. 5:26audio so either
134. 5:28way I can tell you I
135. 5:32don't
136. 5:35um yeah they'll probably be somewhat
137. 5:37unhappy when
138. 5:39they see my interviews with them those
139. 5:41Haven been relationship but they were on
140. 5:42video Yeah well let's just Parton the
141. 5:45discoveries yeah it'll all come out mhm

143. 5:49know that uh like I said I have loyalty
144. 5:54to one person in every one of these
145. 5:56cases and it doesn't happen to be
146. 5:57anybody I'm interviewing usually
147. 5:59understand it's not a it's not a slight
148. 6:01on them you dealt with many different
149. 6:05people in many different positions
150. 6:09mhm none of which you're comfortable and
151. 6:11those things always get in the way that
152. 6:12you have on your on your
153. 6:14hands yeah such are the rules that we
154. 6:18work under
155. 6:21y here's my question um I know this is a
156. 6:24a question that a lot of people have
157. 6:26asked the Grand jurry and all of that
158. 6:27it's supposed to be secret but it was
159. 6:29released to the media right off the bat
160. 6:31my dad hadn't even been subpoenaed and
161. 6:34that was
162. 6:36released so I just think a lot of that's
163. 6:38kind of funny and the fact that they
164. 6:39invited the media in when they were
165. 6:42releasing the decision my mom had
166. 6:43received a text message from someone in
167. 6:46the media saying they're letting all of
168. 6:49a sudden when they make the decision we
169. 6:50thinking are you
170. 6:53serious there
171. 6:55are rules
172. 6:57mhm I am quite sure
173. 7:01that one of the rules that was followed
174. 7:03was that when the decision to indict has
175. 7:06been made
176. 7:08um that part of it is public yeah that
177. 7:10part is public and they can let the
178. 7:12media into the courtroom at that point
179. 7:14yeah I bet this is just my bet I don't
180. 7:17know what the Florida rules are I'm more
181. 7:19Federal stuff familiar with that but
182. 7:21what I bet is that it was done under
183. 7:22seal and there were no names and no
184. 7:24official charges probably read aloud M
185. 7:27it probably just was there's been an
186. 7:28indictment received in a case and that's
187. 7:31it well when the media was out there all
188. 7:33day and they knew about this a week ago
189. 7:35that it was going to happen yeah so it's
190. 7:38just kind of funny it's supposed to be
191. 7:40secret and everything was the happed The
192. 7:43Happenings are secret M what what takes
193. 7:46place within the room is secret yeah but
194. 7:48as far as when it actually is convened
195. 7:50and you know pulled together the
196. 7:52witnesses and stuff like that that's not
197. 7:53also supposed to be secret it depends on
198. 7:55how they are subpoenaed okay I mean if
199. 7:57you're subpoenaed under a regular order
200. 8:00that's a my dad his attorney so I'm not
201. 8:02quite sure how that came through yeah
202. 8:04but if the subpoena itself is just a
203. 8:05regular Federal jury subpoena that's
204. 8:08public records it doesn't say what it's
205. 8:10for it doesn't say what case it's in it
206. 8:12doesn't it just says you're subpoena to
207. 8:13appear before the grand jury well with
208. 8:15them announcing that you know there was
209. 8:16going to be a grand jury and obviously
210. 8:18my name was thrown out they knew who the
211. 8:20grand jury was
212. 8:22for who threw your name
213. 8:24out all the media said that it was from
214. 8:27an inside source meaning in here so
215. 8:32that's where they all say is I can tell
216. 8:33you what I think of the media and what I
217. 8:35think of people who leaks up to the med
218. 8:37I think it's garbage yeah I agree that's
219. 8:41the that doesn't make it
220. 8:45any less
221. 8:47necessary without
222. 8:49them I'll be quite honest you without
223. 8:52the media we don't find a quarter of the
224. 8:54kids that we oh I agree it helps the
225. 8:56exposure has helped bring in so many
226. 8:58tips for my daughter but at the same
227. 9:01time what it what it creates is it
228. 9:03creates a monster that otherwise isn't
229. 9:05necessary exactly uh the tips are what
230. 9:07the tips
231. 9:08are if it was a local media only MH it
232. 9:12would be much easier to work yeah when
233. 9:14you make it the national media then you
234. 9:16come up with you get the Nancy Graces
235. 9:18well you get the well you get the tips
236. 9:20also that come from Hawaii that say I
237. 9:22saw Kaye oh
238. 9:24really okay let me call Hawaii let me
239. 9:27send them out let do little bit Clos
240. 9:30those those are what I consider local
241. 9:31because the the local stations are going
242. 9:33to cover that that's contiguous to the
243. 9:35State of Florida it's not when people
244. 9:37are only getting their information from
245. 9:39the Nancy Graces or from Globe magazine
246. 9:41or people or you know stuff like that
247. 9:43are you kidding me well I can say you
248. 9:47will not see me sit down and be
249. 9:48interviewed by yeah like people or GL or
250. 9:51anybody else it's mons
251. 9:56ago entree V my friend

293. 11:43and speaking with law enforcement or
294. 11:45listening to all the questions that you
295. 11:47have him and I discussing it and then we
296. 11:49go from there okay and that's there's
297. 11:52been no success with that so far

299. 11:55going to we're going to open that when
300. 11:59window right now okay and hopefully we

377. 16:38know he was really struggling I mean I
378. 16:40can imagine he was having a hard
379. 16:41time uh you know he was being called in
380. 16:45to to
381. 16:47essentially provide testimony to indict
382. 16:50you at least and he was really
383. 16:52struggling with that yeah and uh and I
384. 16:56felt bad for him I'll be honest with you
385. 16:57I truly did told him last night I know
386. 17:00he was subpoena and under the log he had
387. 17:02to answer whatever questions were asked
388. 17:04him and I told him to do what he had to
389. 17:06do at that point and if he didn't he'd
390. 17:08be held in contempt at
391. 17:10court I don't want to see that happen so
392. 17:12what did he say he just huged me and
393. 17:15told me that he loved me and I know he
394. 17:17was struggling with it even last night
395. 17:19so I think it was probably Marshal this
396. 17:21morning yeah I could see that with the
397. 17:23little bit that I saw from the media
398. 17:25from the pictures and um the little bit
399. 17:28of fo that they have so you guys watch
400. 17:30it on TV no we watched online a little
401. 17:33bit really yeah I try to stay away from
402. 17:36the TV as much as possible at least with
403. 17:37the internet I can scroll through read
404. 17:39what I want and then just get rid of it
405. 17:41that much faster
406. 17:43so you anxious about today at all um I
407. 17:48have been I mean this is something
408. 17:50honestly we've been preparing for from
409. 17:51the beginning just because of words that
410. 17:53were directly spoken from Yuri Mage and
411. 17:57also from uh sergeant and Allen they
412. 18:00were saying that this is what they were
413. 18:01planning on doing from the very
414. 18:02beginning from that first day so they
415. 18:04wrote me off within the first couple
416. 18:06hours so I don't know if that's true it
417. 18:10was the direct words that they pretty
418. 18:12much gave to myself and even they said
419. 18:15that to my parents so I mean I'm not
420. 18:17trying to say something derogatory
421. 18:20towards someone but okay we're just
422. 18:22we're just we're just talking yeah we're
423. 18:24just chatting so that was the only time
424. 18:27they ever made any effort to try to talk
425. 18:29to me one onone and no it was kind of
426. 18:32difficult it was kind of difficult
427. 18:33considering considering um obviously in
428. 18:36light of everything that's going on and
429. 18:37the fact that you've been arrested for
430. 18:38other things makes it a little more
431. 18:41difficult to sit down and even talk to
432. 18:42you m it's not that we haven't wanted to
433. 18:44yeah but I do have counsel and that's
434. 18:47something that you know my attorney has
435. 18:49always been a phone call away and it
436. 18:51shouldn't have taken it getting to this
437. 18:53point you know three months in has your
438. 18:56attorney ever told you that we would
439. 18:57like to speak to you and we had agreed
440. 19:00him and I together that we would all sit
441. 19:02down together him and I and you guys and
442. 19:05you know we' entertain whatever
443. 19:07questions you have and disc thought we
444. 19:10made it pretty clear that you know we
445. 19:12wanted to talk to you I mean obviously
446. 19:13we can't come to you and ask you yeah
447. 19:16understandably you know I thought that
448. 19:18you were aware that if you wanted to
449. 19:19talk to any anybody that all you had to
450. 19:22do was simply ask yeah
451. 19:24well I know it goes both ways on that
452. 19:26and I guess it would have needed needed
453. 19:28to come from me I should have been the
454. 19:30one to
455. 19:31have I guess come forward with it but
456. 19:34you know we did open up that door too
457. 19:36law enforcement before when Sergeant
458. 19:39Allen was making a big deal saying well
459. 19:41we want to talk to her when can we talk
460. 19:42to her he's saying well the door's
461. 19:45open I don't believe he ever told us the
462. 19:47doors open I mean well maybe not to you
463. 19:50directly but I know to Sergeant Allen I
464. 19:51was sitting there even one of the times
465. 19:53that he spoke with him so I've heard the
466. 19:56words come out of his mouth even myself
467. 19:59directed to other people that maybe
468. 20:02didn't either relay the message or took
469. 20:04it a different way so I don't know I
470. 20:07think the lack of communication has put
471. 20:09people
472. 20:10in opposite Corners when everybody has
473. 20:15the same goal is to find Kaye do you
474. 20:17think the matter could have been
475. 20:18resolved a little
476. 20:20differently you think the matter could
477. 20:21have been resolved a little
478. 20:23differently absolutely in a lot of
479. 20:26different aspects and that's a con ation
480. 20:29that I've had not only with my attorney
481. 20:30but with my
482. 20:32family so I mean we all still feel I as
483. 20:37a mom I know in my gut there's the
484. 20:39feeling as a parent you know certain
485. 20:41things about your child you can feel
486. 20:43that connection
487. 20:45and I still have that feeling that
488. 20:48presence I know that she's alive whether
489. 20:52you have a bucket load of evidence
490. 20:54downstairs that contradicts that and
491. 20:56says otherwise or all you have is
492. 21:00speculation or or nothing at all I mean
493. 21:04whatever it is if there's still that
494. 21:05chance with all these tips that have
495. 21:06come through I know that
496. 21:14it's I know that a lot have been
497. 21:16discredited but bring them down
498. 21:19and is every we have more the
499. 21:21speculation as every tip and every
500. 21:24follow directly yeah now we have more
501. 21:26than speculation we have a lot or else
502. 21:29we would be to this point mhm a
503. 21:34lot all I said I said the same thing to
504. 21:37them that you know they said we're at
505. 21:39the end of a hallway and I'm thinking
506. 21:40we're at the end of a hallway and
507. 21:41there's two doors which door are we
508. 21:43going to go through or I guess this is
509. 21:46you know we're at this point and we are
510. 21:49at this point where the final step is
511. 21:51which do is walked we are well beyond
512. 21:54where we were before m i mean those
513. 21:56those issues are gone okay
514. 21:59and when you refer to at the end of the
515. 22:01hallway I think you you well aware of
516. 22:04what hallway we're talking

519. 22:14specify that at this point or
520. 22:17what your perspective is on that you
