1. 0:00in this video we're gonna be reflecting
2. 0:02pun intended what smart mirrors are like
3. 0:05and what's lawns of the future will be
4. 0:08like okay so this may look like a normal
5. 0:19[Music]
6. 0:28straight out of a fairy tale - the
7. 0:31Wicked Queen and the poisonous apples
8. 0:34the Poseidon smart mirror powered by
9. 0:37Cairo s that I saw at CES will not only
10. 0:40help you check your makeups it'll help
11. 0:43you apply it all you need to do is grab
12. 0:46any product you use and I mean any scan
13. 0:50it by holding it up to the cameras and
14. 0:53then the mirror will automatically pull
15. 0:56out at the tutorial that you can play as
16. 0:59you merrily apply the product to your
17. 1:02face but it's not just that it can also
18. 1:05magnify your reflection to make sure
19. 1:09that that mascara you're applying is on
20. 1:11fleek there's only one thing from the
21. 1:14many things that this might Mira can do
22. 1:16but before we move on I know that you
23. 1:19probably have a lot of privacy concerns
24. 1:22right now when we talk of a camera on a
25. 1:25mirror that may potentially be in your
26. 1:28bathroom so before I move on let me show
27. 1:30you something yep there's a manual cover
28. 1:32to make sure that your privacy is
29. 1:35protected right now that your makeup
30. 1:38some sleep and you know that your
31. 1:40privacy is protected back to the mirror
32. 1:44so the smart nur basically it can act as
33. 1:49a hub that we'll be able to control
34. 1:52let's say smart appliances it gives you
35. 1:55notifications it comes in different
36. 1:58orientations and you can choose the
37. 2:00frames that it comes with plus you can
38. 2:03change the lighting in two different
39. 2:05colors I like the
40. 2:07but it doesn't come with that weird mic
41. 2:10it's only because the show floor was
42. 2:12noisy so they had to set it up that way
43. 2:14and yes that also means that there's
44. 2:17voice control on this the first thing
45. 2:20you need to learn when using this mirror
46. 2:22is how to navigate you don't tap you
47. 2:25start up hover it's amazing to me that
48. 2:28you don't have to touch the mirror to do
49. 2:30anything one Cardinals can get rule is
50. 2:33that you have face this actually works
51. 2:38once you get those movements down the
52. 2:41possibilities are well almost endless
53. 2:45health-wise you could bear the mirror
54. 2:47with a smart map the mirror will give
55. 2:50you exercises you can follow along - and
56. 2:53then the map will detect your posture
57. 2:56for kids if you have them also because
58. 2:59this mirror will be able to tell who's
59. 3:01in front of it and create different
60. 3:03profiles for each there is a gamified
61. 3:07version of brushing teeth if you pair it
62. 3:10with a smart cog a tooth brush these are
63. 3:15just two things that I got to try at the
64. 3:17demo although they tell me that there
65. 3:19will be more health functions and it
66. 3:22really does depend on what smart devices
67. 3:25you connect to the mirror
68. 3:28we're now moving on to the part I love
69. 3:31about the mirror the beauty features you
70. 3:34saw earlier that this thing can scan
71. 3:36your makeup and help you put it on but
72. 3:39you don't even need to put actual makeup
73. 3:42on because there's a makeup Tryon
74. 3:44feature also skin analysis tool which
75. 3:48can give you a specific beauty regimen
76. 3:50based on your specific skin type and
77. 3:53what problem areas you tell the mirror
78. 3:55you want to improve on even crazier the
79. 3:58Americans can your face and create an ER
80. 4:02model then suggest how you apply
81. 4:05specific skin care on your face and what
82. 4:09motions you should be doing right those
83. 4:12are really cool things to have in your
84. 4:13bathroom mirror but what if we put the
85. 4:17mirror somewhere else somewhere well say
86. 4:21where we really check out ourselves
87. 4:26great of course or at the weather booth
88. 4:28because obviously I'm interested in
89. 4:31we are walking into what they say is a
90. 4:35long experience of the future and yes of
91. 4:39course
92. 4:39this salon features the Poseidon Cairo
93. 4:42as mirror but this time it's built
94. 4:45specifically for your salon needs for
95. 4:49one the mirror can take your photo and
96. 4:51create plus store a profile about you so
97. 4:55that your hairstylist knows exactly what
98. 4:58you came in for the last time the bra
99. 5:01the fun is just about to begin
100. 5:03literally you can pick out specific
101. 5:07hairstyle pegs and then you can even use
102. 5:12a mirror to change your hair color
103. 5:14around sort of like how you try the
104. 5:17makeup on earlier and the mirror sort of
105. 5:21creates an idea Board of hairstyles and
106. 5:25hair colors you can choose from as if
107. 5:28that wasn't awesome enough the salon of
108. 5:30the future by Wella had things other
109. 5:33than the mirror that were really really
110. 5:36cool this is the color DJ and it allows
111. 5:39you to create my hair mask specifically
112. 5:42for you meaning you can choose your
113. 5:45specific color any trouble thinking
114. 5:47about
115. 5:49I mean I'm legacy cific color obviously
116. 5:53something like that you get to choose
117. 5:56the amount of moisture that's weighing
118. 5:58your hair moisture shock
119. 6:02yeah so let's give you three shots okay
120. 6:05sorry
121. 6:06and also just then
122. 6:11I like everything and with the press of
123. 6:13a button the color DJ's set to work this
124. 6:25is going on my hair basically it's gonna
125. 6:27enhance my color
126. 6:28give it more moisture and we'll make it
127. 6:31smell really nice because right now
128. 6:37[Music]
129. 6:46in case you were wondering I've been
